Excellent service I can't say enough! I called 1st Choice Mechanical for a estimate on replacing a compressor. Michael / owner was our technician and he quickly diagnosed our problem. After explaining the solution and cost we agreed on repairs. What can I say,he saved my friend $3000. I couldn't be more satisfied. We have set her up with bi-yearly service agreement. I feel that she is in very experienced hands now.

I made the mistake of forgetting to write this yelp review after my 1st experience with Boldt...
Review 1:
In 2020 my AC went out in the middle of June, temperatures were climbing and the following days only seemed to be getting hotter. I wont mention the name of the 1st company I used, but its HARD TO SPELL ;) and the technician who came out attempted to tell me that the fan motor was broken and to replace it would be $1000+ just for that repair and then even after that the unit might not even work. He recommended a complete unit replacement and quoted that job at $12,000+!!!! This left a bad feeling in my mouth as that was not in my budget. My wife went to Yelp to get a second opinion and she landed on Boldt. I made the call (late in the evening 8pm+) I got a response 1st thing in the morning I wanna say around 630 AM and Phillip came out that very same morning. Phillip confirmed the previous techs broken motor evaluation but said I definitely did not need a whole new unit. He quoted me a $500ish repair for the motor so I went to get the green light from my wife, by the time I got back outside just a few minutes later Phillip already had the motor out and grabbed a replacement from his truck, he didn't skip a beat! Within 20 or 30 minutes my unit was up and running and dumping cold air into the house. After the repair he checked the whole system, even telling me how much coolant I had left and when he thinks the unit will need to be replaced as that coolant isn't being used or made anymore. Even then for a unit replacement his quote for the tip top of the line unit was around $8000 and $5000 on the lower end. Compared to the competition that is an insane savings and I cant help but think I was being cheated! 100% I will be using Boldt for every HVAC needs I have in the future, I almost don't even want to move out of their service area!!

Fast forward to the present, another convenient June AC failure. My AC died late one day and again I contacted Boldt late in the evening only to get a call back at 830pm the same day from Fran! I explained what happened and she said she would have someone out the very next morning at 730AM, great response time on the phone and in person. Mike showed up a few minutes early, which is ALWAYS good, and he went straight to work. Upon opening my unit the 1st thing he said was Oh!, I can fix that right now and that was music to my ears. The wiring in my unit shorted and fried and he promptly replaced all the wires and then finished by checking the rest of the unit. He gave me a report and updated on the coolant as Phillip did the year prior. Mike was prompt, efficient, and professional. You really can't ask for more from a technician or the company.
If you have ANY HVAC needs... Please do yourself a favor and call Boldt! You will not regret it. I'm pretty sure Ron Swanson would work for this company! and he would probably punch the other company in the face for being corrupt and useless.

This guy was amazing. Don't expect some slick, well dressed, rip you off AC repair guy. This is the most down to earth, honest man I've ever met. I think his pants almost fell off twice during his latter climb. Lol I should have given him a belt as part of the payment. But seriously, he could have taken me for anything on my AC, but I walked away with a $60 service charge after he spent 15 minutes on my roof and another 10 in the house and then narrowed it down to low batteries in my thermostat. Enough juice to light the display, but not enough to trip the AC, he said. Happens all the time. I laughed at that. Make sure to check you batteries. But also remember, this is the mechanic who tells you that you don't need something repaired. Would definitely use again. Thanks Johnny!!

I was shopping around for a new HVAC unit, as mine was 14 years old and on its last leg. I had several companies come out and give me estimates (5 or 6), including Hays Cooling and Heating.
Hays had the best price by far on the HVAC unit I wanted, but did not think I could afford. My new unit was installed less than a week latter by very professional installers. In fact everyone I have dealt with so far has been very friendly and professional.
The best part was there were no hidden fees or other financial surprises at the end of the install. They did everything they said they would at the price they quoted me!
I feel Hays did a GREAT job for me and look forward to doing business with them for many years to come.

I have a rental property which needed an AC replacement, and needed prompt and reliable service. The tenant was not the most hospitable, but Randy, one of the co-owners of the company, was extremely professional in inspecting the property and getting back to me with his recommendations. My mom's AC/heater was acting up, blowing smoke all up in her home and Dave from Gladiate Air flew in to the rescue!!! Big thanks to Dave's wife for setting up the same day service!!
When Dave arrived and turned the on the heater, the smoke decided not to rear it's dark cloud, but instead, it stopped working. Dave found the problem & fixed the broken wiring in no time and quoted me with a reasonable price! He was very professional and explained everything to me every step of the way. He's an expert in his field and provided excellent service!
Hopefully my mom won't have much more AC/heating issues, but if she does, I trust Dave and Gladiate Air for all of our AC/heating problems! Thank you Dave, you're a life saver!!!

Called Dukes of Air late this morning for an issue with our AC & they were able to schedule us in this afternoon. Todd showed up & was very friendly! He even called to ask if it was okay to come a bit early...um yes!!! He figured out the issue in a timely manner & fixed us up! I have used David a couple of occasions. David is reliable, knowledgeable, and very responsive. My most recent air conditioning issue, I called David and told him the issue I was having. David was so nice and told me that it was an easy fix and actually walked me through how to do it on my own. My lack of knowledge, I took up 30 minutes of David's time on the phone and he was very patient with me. It is hard to find good knowledgeable people with integrity and David definitely has it. I would highly recommend David.

About a month ago I had Bumblebee come out to my house, it is a rental and my daughter lives and manages the house, we rent by room. My daughter texted me that the air went out around 8am in the morning. So I wen to Yelp and started reading reviews, I was leaning to go with one of the big air conditioner companies in Phoenix which constantly advertise on TV. However when I checked their Yelp reviews the big AC companies had mediocre reviews even though their TV ads were pretty good. I checked out the top Yelp AC companies in Tempe Az and their was several with really good star ratings. Bumblebee reviews, not just the ratings, were fascinating to read, it really sounded like the owner's of this company knew, understood and practiced customer service, it wasn't just words. Anyways I emailed my daughter the several AC companies I was looking at on Yelp, she read the reviews and also decided on Bumblebee. Bumblebee came out to the house around 1pm and stated they needed to go into the house cause the AC problem wasn't on the unit on the roof. My daughter had left instructions to Bumblebee dispatcher to call me 30minutes before they reached my rental home and I would meet them but the dispatcher didn't relay that information, luckily the Bumblebee service technician (I believe it was Steve, but I am not sure of his name) had my phone # and texted me that he needed to get into the house. I thought it was awesome that the AC technician would text me instead of leaving, I texted the Bumblebee technician it would take 30 minutes for me to get their and he said he would wait. After arriving at my rental I opened the door and the Bumblebee technician found out it was a faulty thermostat, I payed something around $180 dollars for the new thermostat and to have it installed, which was what I was OK with.
However this is where the problems began, I asked Steve for a receipt (btw I was really impressed with Steve or what ever his name was, he gave me a biography of his work experience and what I was impressed with was that Bumblebee wanted and recruited the best technicians, which I consider awesome). I asked for a receipt, the problem was Steve couldn't give me a receipt then cause the billing company for some technical reason wouldn't allow Steve to email me a receipt, because of this I gave Steve my personal email address and he stated he would email the receipt later. After a couple of days waiting for the receipt and not getting any I called Bumblebee and the dispatcher told me they would relay the message to the owners, which I believe is Lisa, I said OK. However about 2 weeks went by and I had no receipt, so I called the dispatcher and told them I wanted a receipt that day or I was going to write up a bad Yelp review. I got a response very quickly from Lisa saying a receipt would be emailed to me, however I got no receipt, it turned out Bumblebee had been emailing my receipt to my daughter and not me, after this got cleared up Bumblebee emailed me an invoice which I finally got; again there was a problem because on the invoice there wasn't anything which could be plainly seen by the IRS or my accountant that the invoice had been payed. By this time Bumblebee was texting me and I was texting them and I was actually receiving several invoices in my email so several people at Bumblebee must of been trying to get me a receipt. I texted Bumblebee that the receipt was totally inadequate, that what I wanted is an invoice emailed to me with Payed in Full clearly stamped on it, some thing that the IRS would understand as a receipt. This was during lunch hour and I guess Bumblebee staff/owners were out to lunch but they said they would do this as soon as they got back. Within about 30minutes of Bumblebees text about being at lunch, I got several receipts with Payed in full stamped on it in my email. Lisa then texted me that the billing software and company, they had just recently gotten, fulfills all of Bumblebees internal accounting requirements, however she said my case clearly showed that they need a new billing software/company and she assured me they would fix this problem for future customers.
I tell this story not to discourage people to call Bumblebee, but quite the contrary, please call them they are a excellent company. It is very very very rare that you have a company that is truly concerned about their reputation and the service they provide each customer. Called Alan a couple weeks ago after buying and moving into a new house because there was no air blowing through the vent in the master bathroom. He asked if I could meet him the next morning at 8am, I drove over to meet him and he was there right on time! He checked out the problem and called me to say the duct was crushed and just needed a small new piece of duct. He tried to find the exact type of duct but they don't sell it anymore so he ran a new duct line and did all this for about $100, I was expecting much worse. He is honest, well priced, and a great guy to work with.
I just called him back this afternoon and he was here within a couple of hours when I asked if/how we could get any more air to the bathroom so he came and adjusted all our vents so that all rooms are getting equal air and it is now working great! He gave us a few other possible suggestions on how we could improve air flow easily and went out of his way to make us a happy customer, this is 5+ stars in my book, especially for a contractor, he is great!

AMAZING COMPANY! We had them come out and do an energy audit for our house to figure out why our APS bills are SO CRAZY high. They spent almost two hours checking our house and our scorching hot attic and presented us with a detailed print out complete with pictures and commentary about the issues with our home. Needless to say, we decided to proceed with their recommendations and the crew of gentlemen that were here today were so great. Proffesional, respectful, kind (humored my 20 month old and repeatedly answered his hello's with a nice response) clean, and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this company! We will be using them again in the future!

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

0 STARS: REFUSE TO SUPPLY WHAT THEY ADVERTISE: Found their ad in the magazine The Grand Season Sun City West Edition. They offer $239.00 for 5 rooms carpet cleaned plus sofa/love seat and grout cleaning. Seemed like a good deal! When I called the man said no way I can do that for that price. I told him that is what his ad says- how can you refuse to do it! He insisted that he could not do it - it is a mistake. I questioned him and asked have you as a businessman heard of truth in advertising? Even if it is a mistake you should honor your advertising. After more discussion he told me (very sarcastically) that I was a real sweetheart and then hung up!
I would NOT RECOMMEND using this company as they obviously don't supply what they advertise!
