We just had a water softener installed last week with reverse osmosis add-on to the fridge.  The product is great!  We can tell a huge difference in our skin and hair and drinking water.  The install was quick and the technicians were nice.  I'm only giving 4 starts because my only complaint would be that they had to get under the kitchen sink for some plumbing (we didn't think they'd have to) and they took out all of our cleaning supplies etc. that we had stored there.  They spilled some water due to the way the plumbing was put together (no one's fault), but they left the water and the mess when they left.  I would have appreciated them cleaning up the water they spilled and putting the items back they moved. Otherwise great experience (and the cabinet probably needed a good going through anyway).  I would definitely use them again!

Our AC went out, in July, and the inside temperature of our home was in the high 80s.  We were in desperate need of a repair and saw the positive Yelp reviews for 1st Choice Mechanical.  I reached out and was able to get in touch with someone right away who scheduled an appointment for us.  Within a few minutes, I received a call back that they could get someone out within an hour which is a VERY pleasant surprise.  The technicians were extremely professional and knowledgeable.  Unfortunately, we did need a whole new system, but they were able to create a solution to kick start our existing unit and get some cool air flowing while we waited for the replacement.  I was extremely pleased with all aspects of their service and will absolutely be keeping their information close by for the future!

This is the first time I have been very impressed by a knowledgeable and helpful a/c repair company.  He got my a/c cooling quickly, and gave me some very important tips on cooling our condo down in the summer and saving us quite a bit of money doing it.  Thank you!

The guys did an excellent job.   They fixed my air conditioning in less than an hour after I called.  I will use these guys again if I ever have a problem.  They also warranted their work which is nice.

Just the facts:
After reading this, also look at the PS that resulted from the owner's attention.  I was out of town and received a call that a heater in a rent house was not working.  Called Hays--first time I used them.  They told me that a service call was $70 plus repairs and that the technician would call to authorize repairs.  When the call did not come I called the tenant.  The technician had come and gone--discovered it was only the gas valve in the off position--turned it on, furnace was working, and left.  Got a call from Hays asking for $160.  According to the technician, the extra $90 was for the safety check.  I mailed a check so they have no cause for complaint.  
This does not square with all the previous glowing reviews.
Does this deserve one star?  Yes--they should have been more up front about the charges.

PS.  The owner called and admitted a mistake in the charges.  It has to do with what the technician writes down and this technician was new to the company.  A refund is being processed.  Will raise the rating another notch when received.  I will try them again and then Hays may deserve a 5 star rating.
PSS: Received a refund of $90.

Called and scheduled Caleb, the owner, to stop by for a check up before summer. Caleb is the owner if his own company so he does not work on commission. He is not trying to make a commissions and up-sell his customer. He wants the best so 'we' continue to call him back. I've had a quote from another reputable company and he completely invalidated the quote and when he looked further, advised that the parts are all fine and accomplished a minor fix that was much lower than the quote. Overall you can tell Caleb is a genuine good guy running a good company trying to provide exceptional professional service to his customers.

This is by far the best AC/Heating company in the valley. My fiancé and I have used them to repair our rental condo's AC that was acting up as well as our primary home. They are fast, professional, and high quality for the right price!

Great experience with Gladiate air conditioning. I had an appointment for a routine maintenance appointment. Gabe was great; very honest, knowledgeable and efficient. He found an issue with my air conditioner that could have given out in the middle of the summer and fixed it on the spot. I have been dealing with service people for quite some time now and this is a very good company, highly recommend!!!!

Our AC run out at the beginning of this summer. I know it was the motor in the blower. After two bad experiences with two other companies(they tried to sell me a whole new unit for thousands dollars. No thank you), I called Arizona dukes of air. They come over within 2 hours. The tech spent half an hour to identify the problem. Sure it is the motor for the blower. He was very honest and did not try to sell me anything that I don't need like the other two guys. It cost me about $600 for the new blower. At first I thought it is a little expensive since it is only cost $200+ for the part. The tech said yes I can diy, but it is 110 degree and Friday afternoon. If I cannot get it done that afternoon, I have to go stay in hotel. I thought he is being honest and go for the repair. It cost a little more than I want, but at least I have peace of mind and have it done right. I will use this company again. It is hard to find a honest company in the AC industry.

Biltmore Mechanical has been to my house twice now. Once for an AC leak and again when my AC stopped cooling my house. Both times I was extremely pleased. Not only are they quick to respond and schedule an appointment, they are also extremely reasonable. When my AC stopped cooling my house, they sent someone out on a Sunday morning-no outlandish last minute emergency fee-and when the issue couldn't be fixed right away because of frozen coils, they came back a few hours later after my unit defrosted to get the AC working again. Highly recommend for their great service!

My AC went out on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of an extreme heat warning here in the valley. After countless attempts from my landlord to get a company to come take a look at it, we were still left with no AC come Tuesday afternoon. I called bumble bee air conditioning that afternoon and expressed the urgency of getting it fixed immediately. Lisa, the woman in the office, was very empathetic and said she could send someone as soon as he finished with another customer. It was the first time since the whole ordeal happened that my concerns weren't just dismissed but rather validated and being addressed accordingly. I felt as if she actually cared that my family and I were suffering through this heat wave.

Not long after that Jimmy showed up to take a look. He explained to us that the motor was the problem and even went as far as bringing me up on the roof with him to show me a few of the issues. He said it could be fixed the very next day but that he could temporarily have it up and running that night at least for a few hours until the motor overheated again and would shut it off. He said it would at least make it bearable for the night.

The next morning, A man named Steve was sent out to fix everything. He even went over things in detail with our warranty company, who also said, he was incredibly helpful and the most pleasant technician he had ever worked with.

From start to finish, this company was caring, friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I've honestly never had such an easy and pleasant experience with any company when it came to getting things repaired and this was a breath of fresh air. I'd recommend them to everyone.

Michael is as good as the rave reviews he gets on this site. He was friendly, quick and honest. I would certainly use this company again.

AC kept blowing warm air during afternoons. Had 4 different companies come through home warranty, all would come in the morning even though i asked them to come in afternoon so they could see the problem. They all said I could take the appointment I got or wait days for an afternoon one. Of course none of them found anything wrong with it. Called Alan's air out of pocket and they called me back the same day, tech (Bill) called to ask what was wrong and he told me to call him when it was blowing out warm air. He came out at the end of the day within an hour of me calling him and was able to diagnose the problem, overheating compressor. They changed out the part within two days. Awesome customer service.

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

We paid a great deal of money to have our pavers sealed by this company 1 1/2 years ago. Six months later they looked terrible, We have called for 1 1/2 years and they have never returned the call. Stay away from this business. It is a scam. They have now changed their name to CMS Stone Restoration..
