Over past couple decades, we'vd had two major A/C service companies, one after the other, change with growing success from good to expensively unreliable.   Older now, we can't do as much of our own maintenance, as we used to, but understand what it's about.   This time, needing to choose a new service, we took the trouble to ask friends and check Yelp ratings.   ...worked out well!   The response was quick with intelligent questions.  Service was the next day, even though we didn't call it an 'emergency'.    The technician that came, Joe Reyes, was smart, answered all our questions, did the work fast without rushing, and did the extras.   ....then returned to lower the quoted price, as he'd used less refrigerant than predicted.   The AC blows colder than in some time.  Can't ask for more than that!

Called to get a air check up and was told they are not accepting new customers right now. How nice, they have all these good reviews yet can't even come out for a new customer and just for a check up.

My experience with 1st Choice was fantastic.  The person answering the phones was very attentive and responsive and was able to get a technician out same day and rather quickly.  The father and son duo were extremely professional and polite and had diagnosed my units problem fairly quickly and even had the part already on hand in their work can so they were able to get my AC fixed very quickly.  I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them for an future needs.

Yesterday my house was at 91 degrees. I had a long hot & sweaty night. I gave Boldt a call this morning, in just over an hour, I met Jaun from Boldt at my front door. He was AWESOME! My house is now 78 degrees. I'm looking forward to tonight, when my Wife and I can get some sleep. Thanks Phillip, you saved us again.

Johnny is very reasonable and fast. I had a problem with my AC on Friday just before the long weekend. I called a number of other AC technicians. They were giving me quotes between $700 and $1200. I called Johnny and explained the problem to him. Over the phone he gave me a quotation of $450 to replace the condenser motor and fan. However, when he went to the site and looked at it, he was able to diagnose the problem and fix it using the existing motor and fan and had the AC running. Instead of the agreed amount of $450, he told me that he was only going to charge me $150.  Johnny is honest and a good AC technician. I am sure to call him again.

**Above and beyond** My AC had stopped working. Jerry and Nolan came out, listened to all the things I had already tried, breakers, batteries in the thermostat.  They immediately got to work and realized there was a hole and I had a leak. They didn't have the part, but would have it next week.  My biggest concern I explained, was that my daughter was in the hospital battling COVID would hopefully be coming home soon and the attic opening is in my her closet.  After a few minutes, they told me they found a part in AZ and would drive to go get it. Jerry stayed, and started removing the bad part, while Nolan drove to pick up the part.  Let's just say by end of day, my AC was working and they have a very loyal customer who would highly recommend them!!  I can't say enough, thank you so much!

The team at Cool Zone performed an AC inspection before I bought my new home. They identified a duct issue that would have cost me $4000; I was able to recoup it from the seller. Because of the inspection they performed, I had Cool Zone redo all of my duct work in the house. Dave was great and incredibly communicative. The work took a bit longer than planned, but it turned out great, the team took time to answer my questions, and they listened to my asks to move ducts around so I could raise ceilings. I'll likely need a new AC unit soon and I plan to go back to Cool Zone because of their quality work and professionalism. I definitely recommend them to others!

Simply the best AC/Heating company in the Valley. I had several quotes from different companies. Arctic Fox had the best price for the heat pump we were looking for. I signed the contract on a Monday and Tuesday afternoon the unit was up and running. The impeccable service, and quality craftsmanship we received was second to none. Nobody likes having A/C problems, especially during a sweltering Arizona summer, but on an unfortunate occasion, our A/C stopped working. My husband initially called another company to come out and after waiting 4 hours, they called to say the service charge just to come out would be $300. At this point, our home was already 85 degrees. He immediately called Arizona's Duke's of Air after reading all of their 5 star reviews on Yelp for a second opinion. Someone came out 2 hours later and knew the exact issue, fixed it under an hour AND for less than $100! Our exit pipe from the blower to our unit was clogged and gave us helpful tips on how to keep the drain from clogging, maintain our AC and the idea to schedule a yearly maintenance on the entire system. Clearly, this company knows what they are doing and has wonderful customer service!  

If you are looking for a great company to fix your A/C, definitely check out Arizona's Dukes of Air! We will definitely be using them again for maintenance and if anything should go wrong.

Totally lucked out! At 1:15AM discovered that AC drain had backed up and water was leaking from new AC unit onto new hardwood floor. Called two 24 hour emergency services and got the scheduling run around, could give even an approximate ETA.  Third call was to Biltmore and owner ( David ) answered the phone and was at my house within 20 min.

He took care of immediate leaking issue but in process we discovered that prior AC install company had set the drain spout at ground surface level and as such water couldn't exit the drip pipe and as such backed up into house.

As it was now after 2AM we decided to address the underlying issue the following morning, which David did. Not only is he a nice guy and very professional, he was shockingly reasonable, so much so that I added extra to his bill, which he was hesitant to accept.  That's a first class guy and first class service.  I'll have him do my future service check ups going forward.

We've had them rescue our unit a few times now and ended up signing up with their maintenance plan for piece of mind.

Anytime they do work they take tons of pictures and are transparent about what they're doing, what they recommend, pricing etc. Highly recommended, they have great communication and service!

AC kept blowing warm air during afternoons. Had 4 different companies come through home warranty, all would come in the morning even though i asked them to come in afternoon so they could see the problem. They all said I could take the appointment I got or wait days for an afternoon one. Of course none of them found anything wrong with it. Called Alan's air out of pocket and they called me back the same day, tech (Bill) called to ask what was wrong and he told me to call him when it was blowing out warm air. He came out at the end of the day within an hour of me calling him and was able to diagnose the problem, overheating compressor. They changed out the part within two days. Awesome customer service.

Ideal Energy is AMAZING!!! I had the company come out and bid the work for my AC, duct work, and insulation. They were extremely professional, competitively priced, clean, on time, and did QUALITY work. I wish I could post pics to show my SRP scorecards and the quality of the work, but I'll summarize. In July 2012, before installation of the new AC (Trane) and duct work, my home had a scorecard rating of 10 (least efficient), and in August I had dropped to a 4 (in 1 month), and now consistently receive scores of 2-3. My home is 2 stories and approximately 2000 sq ft w/ no pool. My bills in 2012 went from $380 (July) to $215 (August) to $190 (September), and in 2011 my bills were $395 (July) to $470 (August) to $505 (September). The owners of Ideal Energy LLC also took their time to research all of the government/energy credits and assisted me in making the process simple to receive my credits/refunds. Wouldn't choose another company in the valley! Cheers!

As a lesbian couple and as a woman veteran myself, thank you for your professionalism and respect for our home. We have had other service providers come for repairs who have tried to nickel and dime us with potential emergencies that need a man to remedy if nothing else.

All we want is an honest effective repair without the added drama or headache of worry. Thank you, Fidel, for arranging the service call, for forewarning us of potential delays, for calling before arriving, for arriving on schedule, for patiently listening to our concerns and assessments, for carefully inspecting the entirety of our furnace system, for thoroughly explaining the scale of the problems and most of all, for offering us fair options to resolve our HVAC issues.

Had similar situation to other person. 80 days in a hotel I finally returned home last week. After feeling pressured into signing release started seeing damages done throughout. The tile guys they hired were the only part of experience that seemed to work out. Jim was hard to work with. He never gave updates or estimates. I had my replacement tile and carpet picked out days after flood, yet took him over a month to order it. (Wrong I might add) I called him to get update and he told me he had just placed order. It was backordered 3 more weeks. This was just the start of a VERY long process. I could write all day. I now am fixing the damages that were caused by this company. Everything required me to bring them back several times. Paint, drywall etc. Still have poorly done job on some parts of drywall. Lots of dings and dents in molding and trim. Chunks taken out of furniture etc. I informed them of damages done to coffee and dining table from move but they don't seem to think it was them. This whole process has been a headache. Glad to have my life back though.

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

I had the folks from CMS come out to clean my travertine floor. What a great job. I never knew how beautiful my tile could look. They were fast and efficient  and very polite. I am having them come back to seal my pavers next week. Very reasonable prices.
