The technician (Sam N.) informed of what he was going to do before proceeding and checked with me more than once to see if he could answer any question. Excellent service.

We purchased a water softner and RO system a few months ago. We were having some issues with the water softner backflushing on the timer. We called and scheduled an warranty appointment for last Saturday. Johnny called Saturday to let us know he would be there between 11am and 1pm. Johnny called within that time period then to let us know he was on his way. When Johnny arrived he was very polite and professional. He diagnosed the problem with the water softner and fixed it within a few minutes. He went into the kitchen next and found the issue with the RO. He was done with all repairs within a 15 minute time window. He also made some good suggestions about using the equipment. I would recommend Johnny and American Home Water to everyone.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. I first requested service on a Sunday night. They got back to me first thing Monday morning and were at our house within a few hours. The initial reason for the call took some time to find but he did find it. Eventually, after looking at the problems, damage and state of everything, we decided to replace the A/C unit completely.
We were scheduled immediately for the following week. The crew arrived on time and worked diligently to complete the project. They were fast and professional. They were also very nice to my young kids who tried very hard to get in their way.
On top of the A/C replacement, they also did a duct cleaning. No dirt was left in the house. You couldn't even tell they had been here. We are very happy with the quality and attitude of everyone we worked with and will happily call them again when we need further maintenance.

I made the mistake of forgetting to write this yelp review after my 1st experience with Boldt...
Review 1:
In 2020 my AC went out in the middle of June, temperatures were climbing and the following days only seemed to be getting hotter. I wont mention the name of the 1st company I used, but its HARD TO SPELL ;) and the technician who came out attempted to tell me that the fan motor was broken and to replace it would be $1000+ just for that repair and then even after that the unit might not even work. He recommended a complete unit replacement and quoted that job at $12,000+!!!! This left a bad feeling in my mouth as that was not in my budget. My wife went to Yelp to get a second opinion and she landed on Boldt. I made the call (late in the evening 8pm+) I got a response 1st thing in the morning I wanna say around 630 AM and Phillip came out that very same morning. Phillip confirmed the previous techs broken motor evaluation but said I definitely did not need a whole new unit. He quoted me a $500ish repair for the motor so I went to get the green light from my wife, by the time I got back outside just a few minutes later Phillip already had the motor out and grabbed a replacement from his truck, he didn't skip a beat! Within 20 or 30 minutes my unit was up and running and dumping cold air into the house. After the repair he checked the whole system, even telling me how much coolant I had left and when he thinks the unit will need to be replaced as that coolant isn't being used or made anymore. Even then for a unit replacement his quote for the tip top of the line unit was around $8000 and $5000 on the lower end. Compared to the competition that is an insane savings and I cant help but think I was being cheated! 100% I will be using Boldt for every HVAC needs I have in the future, I almost don't even want to move out of their service area!!

Fast forward to the present, another convenient June AC failure. My AC died late one day and again I contacted Boldt late in the evening only to get a call back at 830pm the same day from Fran! I explained what happened and she said she would have someone out the very next morning at 730AM, great response time on the phone and in person. Mike showed up a few minutes early, which is ALWAYS good, and he went straight to work. Upon opening my unit the 1st thing he said was Oh!, I can fix that right now and that was music to my ears. The wiring in my unit shorted and fried and he promptly replaced all the wires and then finished by checking the rest of the unit. He gave me a report and updated on the coolant as Phillip did the year prior. Mike was prompt, efficient, and professional. You really can't ask for more from a technician or the company.
If you have ANY HVAC needs... Please do yourself a favor and call Boldt! You will not regret it. I'm pretty sure Ron Swanson would work for this company! and he would probably punch the other company in the face for being corrupt and useless.

We set up a summer readiness appointment and Byron was the technician that showed up. We couldn't have been more happy with the check-up. He offered us simply the check-up but also made us aware of service plans that are very reasonable and also come with monthly payment options that make it very convenient if needed. Like many others, I was hesitant to call the AC repairman as I knew my unit was old and felt like I would be pressured to upgrade. However, when hot air was continuously blowing out of my vents and the outside unit was not running I knew something was seriously wrong. I searched Yelp and came across Arizona's Dukes of Air. After reading the stellar reviews I figured this would be my best option. I was surprised that Robert was able to come out a couple hours after I called and diagnose the problem. Robert was professional, polite, and most importantly brutally honest. He did not sugar coat how crucial my situation was but at the same time he wasn't pushy about what I should decide. He informed me of my options and the pros and cons of those choices. He did a great job of explaining the specifics of what was going on with my AC. He was able to fix my unit temporarily with some new wiring but he warned me that this was only a temporary fix and my unit could die at any moment. Sure enough, a few hours after he left the hot air began to blow once more. My unit has been at my residence since 1986 so I knew it was at the end of it's life. He came out again on Sunday and the unit overheated several times as he was trying to salvage what he could. Again, he did not pressure me to make any hasty decisions but it became clear what I needed to do. It was either me replacing the unit or continuing to replace piece by piece of my old unit knowing that it was eventually going to be dead for good. I ended up deciding to replace the unit. Robert and John were able to replace the unit the very next day. The process went as smooth as possible and was done swiftly and professionally. I recommend this company to anyone in need of quality AC work.

So my AC broke suddenly and was no longer blowing out cool air. I picked Biltmore Mechanical because it was the only business listed as being right in my neighborhood. Well, I called the next day and David showed up after I got off work--in fact he happened to be early. Very un-repairman like, LOL.
Well, first off, David is a genuinely nice guy which is important to me. He also never made me feel weird as a female asking him to explain the mechanics of the problem and how the AC unit operates in general. I also feel that he charged me a fair price that included a new part and the labor. And there was definitely labor involved! He didn't complain when it was made clear that he would have to climb onto the roof of my complex in 108 degree heat to get to my AC unit. I would definitely call him the next time I'm in a bind.

Pampered. This place is awesome with every experience I've had with them. But my favorite part is their communication. Cari and Lisa work in the office and really go the extra mile for their customers. Even if the tech is going to be a few minutes late, they shoot over a call or a text with an update. They are also extremely fair and honest. I have never felt like they are ripping me off and I'm super observant of that after being a property manager for the last 10yrs. They are also extremely good with follow through and warranties. They have helped me on weekends with drainage line backups to completely replacing my HVAC unit (and in the middle of the summer). Horrible customer service. They did come out the next morning when I called them on Wednesday evening, so their one star was earned for that. Alan came out with another technician (who left a cigarette butt in my yard right next to my a/c). He said we needed a new circuit board as ours was fried and he'd call me within a couple days when he receives the board. He did not give me an estimate at this point, my mistake for not asking for one. He was at my house for about an hour. He rigged my air conditioner to run constantly and my husband or me had to go out to the unit and pull the breaker in order to shut it off, making us human thermostats. Thinking this was only for a day or 2, I was thankful to have a/c at all. I did not hear from him Fri, Sat or Sun. I called on Monday to ask about it and did not receive a call back from anyone. I called again a few hours later on Monday and did not get a call back again, Marcel informed me that they were busy with it being super hot and all and please be patient. I wait Tuesday, no call. I call them again on Wednesday and tell Marcel that nobody has still called me back. Alan finally calls me back saying he just got the board in and wasn't going to pay the $65 to overnight it so he had them regular mail it. He never communicated this to me until almost a week later, once the board had already come in. He apologized for not calling me and said someone in the office should have called me, then he assured (he used the word assure) me that they'd be out the following the day to come replace the board. I arranged to be home on Thursday. Thursday around noon I still had not heard from them so I called the office and spoke with Marcel, he was very nice, called Alan for me and said that someone could be out there on Friday. I was livid, I had already arranged to be home on Thursday and could not arrange to be so again on Friday as I had a meeting. After trying to demand that someone come out Thursday like I was assured they would, I agreed to let them come out on Saturday morning (9 days after they originally came out). Bill texts me on Saturday morning and tells me it would be $532, and had I gotten an estimate. I told him no, I was livid once again. I'm not sure why Alan would not have mentioned the price if it was going to be so outrageous. Alan called me because I was so upset and said that the best he could do would be to take $50 off of the labor of the bill, but since he had no control over the price of the board, that is all he could do. Again though, I did not ask for an estimate, so I agreed to this. Bill shows up to look at the unit and replace the board and tells us that it doesn't even need a new board. He saw that only one connection was fried and it had other connections that he could use. He hooked it up, it worked. Finally. The board was no longer needed, so they took the price of the board off of the bill and charged me $340. I texted Alan myself after this to make sure he let Bill know to take the $50 off of the bill, like we had discussed. He told me that since we were paying so much less than the $532, that was no longer an option. I texted him back that I was under the impression the $50 would come off of the labor as he had no control over the part price, and he just flat out never responded to me. Bill spent maybe 30 minutes at my house. That is 1.5 total they spent at my house, my bill was charged for more than that. I will never use Alan's air again, and frankly, I am relieved to be done with them. I then get a bill from them in my email today, 18 days later for $480. I call the office, livid once again, and Marcel figured out for me that it was an error that Alan made and that I can disregard the bill. Horrible communication from this company, mainly from Alan himself. Marcel and Bill were excellent at communicating and very helpful. I did not find Alan helpful in the slightest and he even told us a new board was needed when one wasn't. I think Alan needs to retire.

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.
