Like any responsible homeowner I get my AC unit inspected yearly. However, to my surprise my air stopped blowing cold this morning and Joseph was at my house in under two hours.

Not only was my mind blown (but now my AC blows cold) at the speed in which he got the problem fixed but let me know what happened without being condescending and while adhering to COVID standards.

Y'all rule and saved me on a hot summer day.

I found 1st Choice Mechanical on Yelp due to their great reviews. I was completely down and out after previously being scammed by a horrible company and happened upon 1st Choice. I spoke with Tori and she was so kind and caring and let me blab and cry about the horrible situation I was in. She said she would try and call her father Michael and asked if he would come on Saturday, a day they are normally closed. Immediately she called back and said he would be there. Michael showed up promptly and was so friendly and knowledgeable. I felt at ease and confident in his skill set. He was done within an hour. Having just moved here and being a first time home owner, I knew nothing. Now I know a great family owned company who I will go back with time and time again.

As an owner of many condos for years i worked with a large hvac firm . Until one of my units needed a new system and i was told the large firm had installed the wrong air in one of my units !!! Thats when   another owner told me about boldt a family business. Thier great people you can trust and the pricing for new units and repair beat all 3 bids

My AC started blowing warm air on a 120+ degree day on a Sunday, the very next day i called various companies and they all put me off until the following business day. Johnny was able to come out the same day i called...

They climbed on my roof and had the issue fixed within 1/2 hour...I am very happy with the service & advice they provided....Not to mention a very, very reasonable price...

Had Hayes out after another company told us we needed to replace an entire air-conditioning heat pump system for $11,000.  Hayes fixed what was broken for 1200.  Very knowledgeable and great service.

Cannot give this local company enough compliments for its gold standards in customer service! They will go above and beyond for the customer. I have a rental property which needed an AC replacement, and needed prompt and reliable service. The tenant was not the most hospitable, but Randy, one of the co-owners of the company, was extremely professional in inspecting the property and getting back to me with his recommendations. Their pricing is extremely fair, but the communication and trustworthiness with their customers is what will always bring back repeat clients! So many businesses could learn from them! I requested quotes from several companies. Cool zone was the first to respond and had the soonest availability. I was told a tech would be to my house between 3-5pm the same day I requested the quote. I was delighted at 1:30pm when I got a call saying the tech could make it earlier. It was nearly 90 degrees inside my house when Ryan arrived. He got right to work and had the problem solved and repair completed before 3pm! He stuck around and chatted for a little while to make sure that the temp was dropping in my house. He was very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend cool zone to anyone needing AC repairs!

Heath is the best. Very reliable, great prices, knowledgeable and very customer service oriented. Love to deal with smaller companies because they actually care as owners. Wouldn't use any other company besides Attic Fox.

You never want to find yourself with an AC issue on a weekend or after hours... but that's exactly the situation I found myself in recently.  

After some frantic calling around based on Yelp reviews, I discovered my new go-to heating and air guys -- Gladiate Air!  I worked with both of the owners, Gabe and Dave, and I have never felt more comfortable working with any company in the service industry!  They are both extremely personable, understanding, and genuine!  

Besides the quick accurate diagnosis and repair in my time of need, I love that they are not pushy!  I honestly cannot say enough positive things about these guys and this company, so if you have any AC needs AT ANY TIME, then do yourself a favor and contact Gladiate Air!

I have been using Dukes of Air for 3 yrs (I think). I decided to be proactive and replace the air conditioner before the summer. I had Robert Bowen come to do the estimate. I was so impressed with the presentation, I made the decision on the spot. I am so pleased with the results. It done by 2PM and my south facing room is now as cool as the other rooms for the first time.

Great service and quick response.  While David had appointments all day, he managed to find time and resolved our air conditioning problem.  Very knowledgeable, professional and we highly recommend.

I really had a good experience with these guys. We installed two AC units, a 5 ton and a 2 ton plus 2 new furnaces. First of all they did a good job, everything neat and clean and made sure everything was working right when they left. The company employees were wonderful to deal with. Equally important to me was that they were really knowledgeable. I am integrating the new HVAC system with a new solar system. There are a number of engineering considerations when you do that. Their knowledge of HVAC systems was really a help, and what they didn't know, they found out for me. Nicole sold us the equipment and Craig led the installation crew. Both great.

This company is not only knowledgeable, but very honest when it comes to solutions to your problems.  The big HVAC companies work their employees on commission.   This company does not do that.  Very happy with their service and supporting our local business.

Based on the other reviews here I scheduled Alan's Air to inspect and service my A/C system (maintenance check up) and repair the damaged fins.  I spoke with Alan -- he seems like a great guy who knows his stuff and I was very much looking forward to him doing the work.  

Alan referred me to the office manager Marcel to schedule the appointment.  I was scheduled for last Tuesday.  Marcel called me the day before to tell me they had to reschedule due to a truck issue.  I said no problem and we rescheduled for that Friday.  I called to confirm the appointment the day before and Marcel told me oh, I was going to call you to cancel.  Marcel said they received some last minute A/C breakdown calls that (according to them) take priority over maintenance and repair calls, even though it wasn't that hot out during those days.    That policy would have been good to know in advance so I could have avoided losing a week of time.

I asked if they could come over on Saturday -- Marcel said they were booked up.  I asked when they could reschedule and was told he had no idea.  He told me that if they received break-down calls any appointment I had would get cancelled and pushed back....not a great option to leave me hanging indefinitely.  I asked Marcel to let me know by the end of the day (Friday) when they could reschedule my appointment as I needed my A/C serviced/repaired and couldn't / wouldn't wait indefinitely having already waited patiently for a week.   Marcel never called back....so much for customer service!

Wow, start to finish this company is impressive. They are reliable, on-time, and trustworthy. We had Ideal Energy come over and perform an energy audit on our house and we knew we had a ductwork/balance issue with our house. The quote for the work was clear and concise. The day of the project they finished on time and cleaned up everything. Ideal replaced all the ductwork in our house and the airflow issues are completely fixed. The best part was every employee that I interacted with was friendly and professional!

I'm glad I found these guys, and you will be too.  There are 8 reviews hidden by the Yelp automated algorithm that you can read if you click on not recommended reviews and I'll save you the time- they are all 5 stars.  100% 5 stars out of 9 reviews, and now I'll add the 10th 5-star review.  

I hired these guys to convert my old drop-ceiling ductwork in my 8-year-old-store into the new open-ceiling style.  It's a big job.  Bottom line: they got the job done on time and on budget with no mistakes.  But there was so much more.  Sean is a master, he is the Jedi-Warrior of Duct Work.  He came in and looked at my system, pulled out his sorcerer's star chart, and started analyzing the flow.  Before these guys got to my store I could not get the AC to run below 82 degrees on a hot day.  There was a 5-ton unit and that should flow about 2000 cfm.  Sean quickly determined that with only 2 returns sized at 700 cfm each I was only inhaling about 1400 cfm.  My unit was asthmatic!  By adding a 3rd return now the unit can breath.  There were also some issues with the supply lines, again Sean and his chart showed that one of the trunks should have a maximum of 3 supplies on it but it had 6 which means it wasn't working properly either.  He removed and re-arranged some of the lines so they would be better spread out.  

Final result?  Not only do I have a beautiful aesthetic ceiling, but yesterday during nearly 110 degree weather it was 76 degrees in my store.  Will I save money?  I bet I will save so much money that this job might just pay for itself.  Thank you, once again Yelp helps me find a great company that restores my faith in humanity.  Desert Comfort Mechanical and Sean:  you guys are awesome!

This place has employees who steal from you. I trusted them with my belongings and their crooked staff robbed me blind. Dont let these people in your house.

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

We hired this company to clean our grout throughout our entire house; it took him about an hour to do the work.  When he was finished he told us that it would take several days for the grout to completely dry.  After a week days we noticed that the grout was a different color in many different areas.....it looked like it had not been cleaned.  After trying to reach Craig for almost a week he finally said that he would come to reclean those areas.  He set a time from between 3pm and 4pm.....by 4:45pm he had not shown up or called....he just blew us off.  We called our credit card company and will be charging the amount back to him. Do not use this company!!
