It's no wonder why this company has a 5-star rating. Our A/C unit died in the middle of the afternoon and they sent Drew within an hour of me calling in. He quickly identified the problem and even drove 20 miles to get us the new part (capacitor) since he didn't have it in the truck. I honestly expected the unit to be completely toast due to it being 13 years old, but he saved us from that nightmare expense. I feel that most other companies would have told me that a new unit was required, but not these guys. The cost of the repair was surprisingly reasonable and he took time to explain everything to me. Couldn't be happier with the service. I'll certainly be using American Home Water & Air in the future and will also recommend to friends/family. Thanks!

Once in a while the stars line up and you luck out... Knowing zero about a/c repair and the costs, it was so helpful to be able to read the Yelp reviews from Boldt customers. A lifesaver.
After a day and night of my a/c not cooling below 84 degrees, and trying everything I could think of to not call a repair person (new filter, new batteries, checking breakers) I decided it was time to get some help so I logged on to Yelp and decided on Boldt due to the great reviews. First stop, Fran, who took my information and made arrangments for Phillip to head over to take a look.
Within an hour Phillip pulled up and after a brief introduction, got to work. He'd intermittently stop and explain what he found with his step-by-step inspection. The coils were frozen and Phillip found the reason for this and fixed it, but first, he explained what the problem was and how much the product he needed to use would cost.
Within 45 minutes of Phillip's arrival, cool air was flowing out of my vents again. Phillip took some time to explain that I was using the wrong filter and suggested a few other maintence items I needed to take care of down the road. Never did he upsell or try to get me on a service plan. This is a good guy who I honestly think is just as interested in doing a good job and treating his customers with respect as making a buck. Plus he likes cats, always a sign of a good soul.
I will never use another company. Thank you, Phillip and Fran, for your help today and for your kindness and diligence.

I don't usually leave bad reviews but I was surprised by todays service. I was told over the phone there would be a $79 up front fee which would not be applied to service. That threw me off because most companies will apply it if you decide to use their service but I based my decision off the reviews and agreed anyways. After the tech looked at my unit he mentioned it is most likely a leak and it would be between 200-300 to identify the leak and mentioned that a rough estimate if I decided to fix the leak would be an additional 2,000-3,000! To top it off he said there was an additional $100 diagnostic fee which I was never told there would be a separate fee to diagnose aside from the $79. I guess the $79 just covers the gas to get to your home! Now I'm $179 short and not even certain if the issue was a leak or where the leak is at! Would never use this company again!

Our air conditioning unit went out this summer, so we needed a brand new unit. After getting several quotes we chose to go with Arizona Air Experts, and we are glad we did. We spent lots of time researching air conditioning units and installers, and we feel we ended up with a great product for our needs, and also at a really great price. Some other companies came and some sounded great and offered some white glove touches, but Arizona Air Experts also included pretty much all of the same things, but the cost for a great quality product (American Standard) was significantly less expensive. We ended up replacing two units because the cost was reasonable for both. Very happy with the service and care of the installers. Start to finish, it was a great experience.

My Evaporative cooler was not working and causing a breaker to trip. I reported the problem to Danette at Cool Zone and made an appointment for repairs to be made. On 04/25/2019 a technician (unknown name) arrived, and I told him to proceed with the repairs (without asking for a cost estimate). He completed the work and presented me with an invoice for $826.97 which included the cost of a 3/4, 115V blower motor @ $666. I thought the cost was extremely high, but paid it, as I had no idea how much the motor should cost. However, I later checked with Lo
we's and Home Depot and found the motors retail for between $85 and $150. I discussed the above with my niece, Kathy, who called Danette and suggested there may have been an error in the billing. Kathy was told there was no mistake and they would not make any adjustments to the billing. I would not recommend doing business with Cool Zone. I would be glad to re-think this review if CoolZone would furnish me with a copy of the invoice showing exactly how much they paid for the blower motor.

Technician was great! He repaired my AC unit swiftly, even went the extra mile to make a return visit later that evening when the temperatures the house was not holding. He ever contacted me the next morning to assure my AC system was working perfectly.

Signed up for their program and had my tune-up scheduled in the same phone call. A week later Kalem came out and checked my system. He found that my fan capacitor was starting to fail and explained that it would most likely fail once we reach the summer temps this year, he also showed me that the other parts of the capacitor were still within tolerances but were on the low end of where they should be. He explained that the other parts would most likely make it through the summer but afterwards would most likely need replacement, after discussing the price difference (which he absolutely did not pressure me towards either option!) I elected to replace the whole capacitor. He had the part in the truck so he was able to replace it all in the same stop. Glad I found you guys on Yelp and want to let you guys know you have a terrific employee in Kalem!

I am thrilled about finding Mike and Chase at Cave Creek Cooling. I had been using another company for service and maintenance program, and felt they were always trying to sell me something. After receiving their outrageous estimate for a Duct Zone Damper on my A/C, I called Cave Creek Cooling. Mike diagnosed the problem on the phone, and Chase appeared at my home with the fix 3 hours later. HALF the price and a tutorial on the mechanics of it all, which I greatly appreciated. I'm now a happy subscriber to their Maintenance Program for my HVAC system.

Horrible customer service. They did come out the next morning when I called them on Wednesday evening, so their one star was earned for that. Alan came out with another technician (who left a cigarette butt in my yard right next to my a/c). He said we needed a new circuit board as ours was fried and he'd call me within a couple days when he receives the board. He did not give me an estimate at this point, my mistake for not asking for one. He was at my house for about an hour. He rigged my air conditioner to run constantly and my husband or me had to go out to the unit and pull the breaker in order to shut it off, making us human thermostats. Thinking this was only for a day or 2, I was thankful to have a/c at all. I did not hear from him Fri, Sat or Sun. I called on Monday to ask about it and did not receive a call back from anyone. I called again a few hours later on Monday and did not get a call back again, Marcel informed me that they were busy with it being super hot and all and please be patient. I wait Tuesday, no call. I call them again on Wednesday and tell Marcel that nobody has still called me back. Alan finally calls me back saying he just got the board in and wasn't going to pay the $65 to overnight it so he had them regular mail it. He never communicated this to me until almost a week later, once the board had already come in. He apologized for not calling me and said someone in the office should have called me, then he assured (he used the word assure) me that they'd be out the following the day to come replace the board. I arranged to be home on Thursday. Thursday around noon I still had not heard from them so I called the office and spoke with Marcel, he was very nice, called Alan for me and said that someone could be out there on Friday. I was livid, I had already arranged to be home on Thursday and could not arrange to be so again on Friday as I had a meeting. After trying to demand that someone come out Thursday like I was assured they would, I agreed to let them come out on Saturday morning (9 days after they originally came out). Bill texts me on Saturday morning and tells me it would be $532, and had I gotten an estimate. I told him no, I was livid once again. I'm not sure why Alan would not have mentioned the price if it was going to be so outrageous. Alan called me because I was so upset and said that the best he could do would be to take $50 off of the labor of the bill, but since he had no control over the price of the board, that is all he could do. Again though, I did not ask for an estimate, so I agreed to this. Bill shows up to look at the unit and replace the board and tells us that it doesn't even need a new board. He saw that only one connection was fried and it had other connections that he could use. He hooked it up, it worked. Finally. The board was no longer needed, so they took the price of the board off of the bill and charged me $340. I texted Alan myself after this to make sure he let Bill know to take the $50 off of the bill, like we had discussed. He told me that since we were paying so much less than the $532, that was no longer an option. I texted him back that I was under the impression the $50 would come off of the labor as he had no control over the part price, and he just flat out never responded to me. Bill spent maybe 30 minutes at my house. That is 1.5 total they spent at my house, my bill was charged for more than that. I will never use Alan's air again, and frankly, I am relieved to be done with them. I then get a bill from them in my email today, 18 days later for $480. I call the office, livid once again, and Marcel figured out for me that it was an error that Alan made and that I can disregard the bill. Horrible communication from this company, mainly from Alan himself. Marcel and Bill were excellent at communicating and very helpful. I did not find Alan helpful in the slightest and he even told us a new board was needed when one wasn't. I think Alan needs to retire.

This is a story sad but true of a company that has very good work but very bad business practices
This begins in September of 2021
An estimator is sent to survey damage done by a roof leak due to a Solar installation
On this visit, the estimator without authorization attempted to fix an issue
The problem as was always suspected was part of a Solar panel installation and not even close to the problem area, again this was not authorized
The estimator spent roughly 45 minutes for his activity and arrived late even though it was clearly communicated my sister-in-law worked nights and was asleep, there were 2 guests here, but they wouldn't have authorized; this was presented as a favor - to attempt to stop further leakage
Now to current time, on March 16th, 2022
I have resolved my roof issues with Reimagine Roofing - recommended
Jim the representative for Silver City comes to inspect the work and close our business and I am presented with 2 invoices, 1 for the ceiling repair and 1 for what i have no idea
It came to be that 1 as for the ceiling and 1 the additional charges were for the attempted unauthorized repair which didn't do anything anyway
Those charges were 586.46 - during an estimate appointment for insurance purposes
this amounts to $13 a minute
i will add that if you have any interaction them, they or their representative's do understand payment options using current electronic/computerized systems, like Zoelle or simple BillPay

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.
