Our A/C unit had not been serviced in a few years and since we had other major issues with our home recently we decided to obtain a preventative check-up with the A/C running all day and night in this stifling heat. Called and scheduled a timely appointment during this busy time of year for A/C services in the Phoenix area. Sam N came out to our home and was very pleasant. He thoroughly inspected the A/C units, found  a deteriorating disconnect, provided us with photos and replaced the old wires and box, in addition to a 24-point check and cleaning. Definitely peace of mind that the A/C had a thorough check. The one year service plan we obtained covers a second evaluation in 6 months plus priority emergency service and warranty. Larson is a quality professional company for your A/C/Heater care here in the Phoenix area, as others have attested to here on Yelp. Highly recommended based on this encounter!

It's never fun having to replace an air conditioning system. You're hot and uncomfortable and have to scramble to make a quick decision about something very expensive and uncertain. You probably don't have a go-to company since you only do this every 10-20 years!  So you jump on Yelp, pick a highly reviewed and rated company and cross your fingers.
Wow, am I glad I chose AHWA!  Brad was at my door same day (actually within a few hours) and did something I thought was remarkable.  He was able to rig our system to run constantly so we could be comfortable right away.  Expensive, yes. Temporary, yes.  But he said at least it would buy us a few days to decide whether to repair our system (20 yr old condenser, 10 yr old air handler) or replace it, and to decide on a company to use.  He quoted me on our options, gave me all the reasons why we should use AHWA, smiled and said I hope we'll be able to work with you.  No hard sell, no predatory tactics, no taking advantage of our situation to force us into a quick decision.  Right there you know you have a company that is confident in its products, prices, and workmanship.  
So we decided to replace and within less than a week's time, Luis and crew did a one day install on a new unit.  They were on time and respectful of our family and pet (who was kinda freaked out about 3 strangers hauling big objects in and out of our house!)  They also worked very cleanly, putting down plastic to catch all debris.  Brad showed up midday to ensure everything was on track. He explained that there was some extra work and material needed as the previous install was not the most efficient.  No upcharge, no excuses, just Don't worry, we'll make it right for you.  That's what we do.  Sigh of relief.  
After all was said and done, and we were cool once again, I noticed some ceiling drywall cracking.  Brad came out, took a look, and said Yes, it sometimes happens when guys carrying heavy equipment walk on old beams.  He called the owner, who promptly called me back and sent someone to fix it.  Better than it was before.  
This is getting long so I'll wrap by stating the obvious...THIS IS A TERRIFIC COMPANY THAT PROVIDES GREAT SERVICE AT A FAIR PRICE!  Look no further.

My AC was on the fritz on the hottest day in AZ so far! Called Mike and he was able to help me get it back on its legs and it works like it never has before! Previously I was being serviced by a big name company who kept wanting me to buy a new unit....which I need, but just didnt have to dish out. Good technicians, recently had some rewiring done as well as getting 2 new WiFi thermostats installed and they did a great job. Pricing is resonabale, would use again.

So glad I found Gladiate! We were told we needed our AC coil and blower cleaned by a technician from another company after a tune-up. The price they quoted was insane and they tried very hard to scare me into having it done on the spot.

I got quotes from half a dozen other places. All of them were way less than what the initial company wanted to charge, and Gladiate's was by far the best.

I appreciated the quick response from Gabriel and the immediate availability. When he came out he was punctual, professional and personable. I instantly knew Gladiate was going to be our go-to HVAC contractor from now on.

I told him how dirty our equipment supposedly was before he started. A less honest person could have come back and said, Yeah, it's worse than I thought. I'm gonna have to charge more than I initially quoted. But Gabriel confirmed with before and after pictures that our system was nowhere near that bad.  That other technician was exaggerating to justify overcharging us. With Gladiate we paid for only what was needed to get the job done right--an hour of labor and some coil cleaner.

We'll be trusting Gladiate with all our maintenance and repair needs going forward!

Took a week to get an apt w an ac repair guy, they called a few hrs before apt time while I was at work and then left bc I didnt answer. Even though I was here (@ 12pm, I unlocked my door at 1201 according to my ADT security system) for scheduled time frame they still wouldnt come back out and now it's another week before Im in the schedule again. Administrative staff was rude even though I was fine to reschedule, swore up and down that their guy was there and he left after the time that was scheduled, even gave me an attitude about not answering my phone! I'M SORRY I DIDNT ANSWER MY PHONE LOL I WAS WORKING AND AM NOT ABLE TO TAKE CALLS WHILE I HAVE CLIENTS, their guy left before our apt time and their staff is rude. Plenty on AC companies out there dont support this one!!

One man show, and looks like David will be at a good place in few years, given that he is very reasonable in price, knowledge and service principles!
Weekend problem with the AC, very courteous lady answered the phone,
promised to be at my house between 12-4 pm and followed up with a phone call to let me know that they are running a bit late, as they were the other side of the valley.  Problem solved in less than and hour,
I would recommend them to anyone who needs his AC work done!

We've had them rescue our unit a few times now and ended up signing up with their maintenance plan for piece of mind.

Anytime they do work they take tons of pictures and are transparent about what they're doing, what they recommend, pricing etc. Highly recommended, they have great communication and service!

Mike was outstanding - he came right on time and did a great job!  I really appreciated that since our HVAC systems are new, he suggested a lower tier of maintenance since all is well!  Definitely will use Cave Creek Cooling and will easily recommend!

In town visiting my elderly father's house. AC was pumping heat not even room air temperature. I arrived to a 94 degree house on an 80 degree night.

Called at 9:15 AM. Got an 11:00 AM appt. Bill called first and then showed up exactly on time.

The AC unit is 25+ years old but Bill identified the unusual failure, ran to the shop to get the part and fixed it quickly.

Will definitely use them again. No brainer.

We knew we needed more insulation when we bought the house. So we got the energy audit from one of the SRP approved contractors. And they also submitted a bid to do the work. Then we sought bids from two other companies.

If you need to go down this route too, then do what we didn't do: check the licenses of the SRP approved contractors with AZROC. Because, of the three companies we dealt with, Ideal was the only company that had an HVAC license. If you're going to have major HVAC work done, wouldn't you want to be dealing with people that make the effort ot get licensed for it?

Ideal was the only company that sealed the ducts the old-fashioned way -- with mastic and tape. The other two companies wanted to blow in some chemical product. You can read all about it online. You might like it. But it is more expensive.

So what about Ideal?

Everything went well from dealing with Brian, the salesman/estimator, to the work done by the crew. They handled all of the SRP rebates so I didn't have to wait for them -- they do! They added an extra air-return required by our heat pump. The other two companies didn't notice that. And they were half as expensive as the other companies that bid.

The money we saved is being invested in xeric plants to shade the house and the yard. The money saved will also pay for sealing leaks around windows and doors.

So I started calling them at 9 at night and after five phone calls trying to decide from two other AC guys fadal was able to locate the unit in minutes and had us cooling within hours.. I was handling this from another state and his communication was amazing. He was able to give us a service with a discount so that now gives us peace of mind for the next two years. Thank you for working those 18-hour days in the middle of the season to keep my elderly mother cool

Had similar situation to other person. 80 days in a hotel I finally returned home last week. After feeling pressured into signing release started seeing damages done throughout. The tile guys they hired were the only part of experience that seemed to work out. Jim was hard to work with. He never gave updates or estimates. I had my replacement tile and carpet picked out days after flood, yet took him over a month to order it. (Wrong I might add) I called him to get update and he told me he had just placed order. It was backordered 3 more weeks. This was just the start of a VERY long process. I could write all day. I now am fixing the damages that were caused by this company. Everything required me to bring them back several times. Paint, drywall etc. Still have poorly done job on some parts of drywall. Lots of dings and dents in molding and trim. Chunks taken out of furniture etc. I informed them of damages done to coffee and dining table from move but they don't seem to think it was them. This whole process has been a headache. Glad to have my life back though.

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

I had the folks from CMS come out to clean my travertine floor. What a great job. I never knew how beautiful my tile could look. They were fast and efficient  and very polite. I am having them come back to seal my pavers next week. Very reasonable prices.
