I replaced my 3-ton A/C unit with a new Trane after getting a bid from Larsen.  Larson's employee's from Sales Manager, Ish, to their quality control inspector, Ty, we're all very knowledgeable and professional.  Ish explained in detail what my installation process would be and weeks later when I was ready, he arrived first to review it with me and introduce his install team.  They did a great job.
Ty Butler came out 3-days later to inspect their workmanship.  He made a few small corrections and touched up the paint to my attic access from the equipment removal.  This met my expectations and insured I would remain a loyal customer.  Thank you Ish and thank you Ty.

I went with this company based on the Yelp reviews and am glad I did.  I called Thursday afternoon and got a price on a water softener and told them to do it.  He said they would come out Friday between 11:00 and 1:00.  Installer called at 10:30 and was at the house at 11:00.  Job completed by 12:30.  Fast and professional.  Based on the reviews, his performance and look of the unit, I am quite confident.  I would highly recommend this company.

Tim came out really quickly and was able to diagnose our issue. He was actually the 4th company we had out for this issue and he was the only one that checked over everything thoroughly and went into our attic. He communicated everything clearly and let us know our options without trying to sell us anything extra. He didn't pressure us in the slightest, and he cleaned/touched up everything when he was done. Would recommend him to everyone and will continue to use him in the future.

AC was having a hard time keeping up with the temperature the thermostat was set at. On our aging unit I thought this was heading toward the dreaded replacement zone. I'm glad I called Boldt as Phillip was able to head out to my place within an hour or so saving our day from melting in our home! I could tell he was experienced in the field as he took a guess at what was wrong based on my description even before getting on the roof. About 5 minutes later he confirmed his suspicion. A quick fan motor replacement and as a bonus he had time to install an Ecobee thermostat I ordered, but needed help with. All in all, super friendly, and reasonable pricing especially for the speedy work. Only thing to note is if you want to pay with a credit card there is a 5% transaction fee.

Used another company with great reviews but had a little sticker shock when they quoted me on the repairs (recommend but necessary). Spent $250 to replace a compressor and was told it would be $650 for a motor. A little steep in my opinion. Got some quotes and found Johnny's reviews. Him and his coworker are definitely old school but it doesn't take away from their knowledge and expertise. They gave me a quote and were kind enough to allow me to contact them back a few days later when ready for the repair. I spent $200 less on the motor then with the high tech (iPad quotes with pics etc, emailed receipts) type guys. Highly recommend them if you like good quality service and honest people without all the bells and whistles many of us expect today (and that seems to increase the price of service).

I have two AC units and have to get them checked annually to maintain a Trane manufacturer extended warranty.  I had been using a company called Bob Brown Service Experts, but I got tired of the no-call no-shows and poor customer service (See my 2-Star review of them on YELP as well.)  I decided to pick another company and selected Hays based upon the number of excellent reviews.

I called and scheduled an appointment.  A pleasant young woman took my info and said that I would be getting an email with picture of the tech the day of the service.  I never received the email, but did get a phone call about 45 minutes prior to arrival.  (4/8/16 Update: the email with technician picture was found in my junk mail.) Jerry was the tech.  I found him  to be pleasant and professional.  He took pride in his work and spoke highly of his company.  He went into the attic and checked the air handlers.  This took around 20 minutes per side.  Then he went outside and checked the ground units.  Freon and capacitors checked out to be fine.  Jerry had to use new screws to attach covers, as the previous screws were a little stripped.  Total time spent at my house was around 1.5-2 hours.  The cost $79 per unit.

Constructive criticism:  My previous company charged around $100-$120 to check both units and to me seemed to do a little more.  My previous company would blow out the condensate lines then pour water down the lines to ensure that they are open.  This company did not do that.  This company's website also says that a tune-up includes oiling the blower and outdoor fan motors.  I watched closely and did not see this done.  The site also says the indoor coils would be checked for buildup.  This also was not done.  I was never asked about my indoor filters or if I would like them to be changed.  The site says a 33 point inspection...I don't think so...maybe next time.  I should have asked up-front for what my $80 service per unit included.  I feel that the price is a little too high for what I received.  If I am going to spend that much, a company had better do what is says it will do.  It would also be nice to get a discount for a second unit as the tech is already on-site.  I asked the technician about a discount for a second unit, and he commented that the service fee was already discounted.  I knew the price going in so I did not make it an issue.

A second issue I had was the arrangement for payment.  The technician was required to manually punch in my credit card number into a tablet-type device, including my 3 digit security code.  In no way do I think Jerry would try to do anything illegal, such as stealing credit card information.  I have had other companies do service at my house and like it when the technician simply swipes my card, bills wirelessly, and never sees my full credit card number long enough to write it down.  Only the last four digits of my credit card appear on the receipt visible to the technician.  (4/8/16 Update:  I am watching my credit card statement, and still have not seen the transaction appear.  I do not like this.  The transaction supposedly took place a few days ago.  Why no record?  I'm feeling a little uncomfortable.4/8/16 Update:  I called to inquire and was informed that Jerry's machine/swiper was broken and that my credit card will be billed manually next week when Jerry comes into the office. Little awkward.  I guess I will be watching next week for the transaction.)

Over-all, I generously rated this company 4 out of 5 stars, as I saw definite room for improvement.  Based on the service and price, I guess I am a little hesitant about whether on not to use them next year for tune-ups.  My units were already in top-notch condition and needed no repairs.

I would recommend this company to everyone! Caleb and Misty are awesome :-) Misty always called and kept me in the loop about our services and Caleb was always polite and very knowledgeable. Great family business! We had to wait for our new unit to be ordered and delivered but Caleb was nice enough to go back to his shop to see if he had portable ac units to make my family comfortable. Patrick is amazing! First I used the yelp app to reach out and get some basic idea. I feel that cool zone air was pretty quick with their response time. And it was not the cheapest estimate I got but how they handled my business is what got them the 5 stars. On time with their estimated time with the phone call before letting us know they were on their way. Very honest with what needed to be done and not over priced. They asked us about their service program but did not push the issue. I will use them from now on!!

During the heat wave of the week of July 23, 2018 my heat pump would shut off at the hottest part of the day and then return to normal operation about two hours later. I called Arctic Fox and let Misty (the owner's wife)  know what was going on with my unit. I told her it was not an emergency, as the unit was running when I called. We scheduled Friday of that week for Heath (the owner) to come out and look at the heat pump. Misty stated if it got any worse to call and they would fit us in.

I called back on Thursday morning, as my wife was concerned about our dogs and cat. Heath arrived at our house and did some troubleshooting on the unit. He could find nothing wrong with the unit. After providing him with the symptoms that occurred each afternoon he determined it may be the motor for the fan that cools the coils. It has a thermostat that shuts down the motor at 200 degrees. It did not occur when he was there (naturally). He stated he would return the next day with a new motor. Friday he removed the old motor and lo and behold, the motor was leaking oil near the shaft. The motor was heating to shut down temperatures the previous days. Heath worked fast and diligently to replace the motor as the heat pump was shut down during this task.

When it was all said and done, the motor was under warranty and there was no charge for it. Heath said there was also no labor charge. I disagreed with the free labor, as he came out two days and I know the manufacturer was not going to reimburse him for his time.  I asked him what his labor rate was for the two days he was at my home. He provided me with the cost (I think he may have low balled it) and I gladly paid.

I cannot say enough of the integrity, customer service and genuine care this husband and wife company displays every time I use their services. The big name companies cannot even come close to Arctic Fox's business ethic.

The entire Gladiate crew is top notch. They were quick to respond to all of my questions and provided great and reasonably priced service. I'll definitely call them again the next time we need A/C work. Thanks guys.

I called Dukes of Air after having another company come out 4 times in 2 weeks to fix my air conditioner. After supposedly recharging the system, cleaning the unit and air handler, and various other measures the other company told me I needed a new system. Robert from Dukes of air came out and diagnosed and fixed the problem ( a leaky valve) in 1 hour.  He even corrected some of the work the other guys did!  It's been 2 weeks now with no problem.
I highly recommend them and they will be my first choice from now on.

I had another AC company come out to do a tune up.  Less than 24 hours later, my AC (which previously worked fine) stopped blowing cold air.  Alan came out and identified the problem immediately.  The other guys had drained my freon.  Alan helped me understand the issue and advised me on how to get it fixed... Without charging me a dime.  I was able to get the first guys back out to fix the problem they created, but I never would have been able to do that without Alan's honesty.  I will be relying on him for all my AC needs from here on out!

They're customer service was top notch. Everyone I spoke to was super responsive, friendly, and accommodating. The gentlemen that came over for my quote on the new AC was incredibly thorough, showed us pictures of problem areas in the attic, and walked us through all our questions. They had my new ac installed two days after the quote and got the job done quickly and cleanly.

The four stars is because we recently noticed the ac runoff was placed directly above our electrical panel, which may be a problem in the future.

My a/c stopped blowing cold air on the hottest day of the year, a Sunday, at 5:30pm. I tried calling multiple places that advertise same day service, not one of them could come before the next day. I called Desert Comfort Mechanical after searching 24/7 ac service on Yelp. As mentioned on their Yelp page, I was calling after hours so no one answered my call but I left a voicemail at 6:35pm, I received a call from Fadel 20 minutes later saying that he could be at my house within 20 minutes. He was very friendly and was able to get the ac working quickly. He also came back the next day to replace a part and was very quick. I felt the price was very fair and I am very happy with the service I received from Fadel. I will definitely be using Desert Comfort Mechanical for all my future ac needs!

Horrible company to deal with. Their work is horrible and half asked. If you can get a call back then consider yourself lucky. Our experience with this company has been horrendous. 9 months later and we still don't have a working oven. They fixed our black cabinets with brown. Doesn't even come close to matching our original. They were suppose to paint walls doors and ceilings. They left the paint for us to finish. Don't even waste your time with this company. It's nothing but pain and anguish.

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

We paid a great deal of money to have our pavers sealed by this company 1 1/2 years ago. Six months later they looked terrible, We have called for 1 1/2 years and they have never returned the call. Stay away from this business. It is a scam. They have now changed their name to CMS Stone Restoration..
