Everything went great with Larson A/C. The technician John was on time, neat/clean, careful of the home, and very thorough in his evluation and repair. I will most definitely use Larson in the future.

I knew it was time to purchase a new air conditioning unit for my house so I began doing my due diligence to find a reliable and honest HVAC company. Previously I'd used George Brazil for semi-annual maintenance checkups, but I never felt they were looking out for my best interest; they seemed to only be looking for the sale.

After extensive research I selected American Home Water & Air. I first had them come out to do my pre-summer AC checkup on my old unit. Knowing I had a leak that George Brazil repeatedly told me they couldn't find, I asked Bill, the AHWA technician who came out, about my leak. Without hesitation he showed me exactly where my unit was leaking, and it was quite obvious when I looked at the leak location that the leak should have been found much sooner. I then asked him if he thought I needed a new AC and he gave it to me straight, which I appreciated. He said at most I might get another summer out of it, but he couldn't say for sure. He didn't push me into a new AC, but he did offer to have someone follow up with me if I wanted to know more about my options.

Since my unit was aging, leaking and builder-grade to begin with, I opted to learn more about what was on the market and how much it would cost me. Brad was the lucky one who had the painstaking job of answering all of my many questions over the next month. I must say, he was fantastic to work with. I never felt pressured to buy a new unit, and I felt like he was happy to answer my questions (and I had lots and lots of them!).

I ended up purchasing the Trane XV18, a variable speed unit that is much more efficient than what I previously had. I also purchased the associated furnace and coil because my old unit was an R-22 which is not used in new units.

One thing I appreciated about Brad was that he would have been just as happy to sell me the least expensive unit as he was to sell me the more expensive unit I ended up purchasing. It wasn't about the dollar amount of the sale, it was about finding the product that best met my needs. I wish all companies had this same mindset.

Earlier this week they installed my new system. The guys that installed it--Mack, Adriel, Drew and Payne--were professional, courteous, and happy to answer the random questions I had about my new system. They also made sure I was satisfied with everything before they completed the job.

I'd definitely recommend American Home Water & Air to anyone looking for an HVAC company, even if it's just for semi-annual maintenance checkups. It's so refreshing to find an honest company with which to do business.

Tim came out and was very professional (wore a mask) and had my HVAC working in no time. Was even nice enough to check the cooling system for me and informed me it was looking good

Mike was the name of the technician who came to my home to inspect my HVAC unit on the house I had just purchased.  He was the second HVAC guy out because the first guy quoted me an outrageous price to get standard maintenance up-to-date.  I was very happy with how thorough Mike was in his inspection.  He essentially found four things wrong:

1.  Coils needed to be cleaned (part of the visit)
2.  Fuses were the wrong size
3.  Condensation hose was unhooked (ended up it was also clogged)
4.  Thermostat was pretty old.

It should be noted that the previous HVAC guy who was out didn't even catch that the fuses were the wrong size and that the condensation hose was unhooked.  The previous HVAC guy tried to tell me that the unit was a 2002 unit, and I verified through Mike and through the guy who did my home inspection prior to me purchasing it that it was, indeed, a 2009 unit.

Now I don't think the thermostat needed to be replaced, but he offered to do all of the above for $383.  I agreed, and off to work he went.

I am a due diligence kind of guy, so while Mike was working, I did some research on what all of that actually cost.  First of all, I should note that regardless, I was going to pay $85 to have the semi-annual inspection done.  So here is an itemized breakdown:

1.  New fuses     $8      (Lowes)
2.  Thermostat:   $179  (Amazon)
3.  Tax:                $16
4.  Service visit:  $85
    Total              $288

The way I look at it, I essentially paid him a $95 labor fee to install a thermostat, and I'm completely okay with that.  It would probably take me 4-6 hours to do all of the above.  His total visit was about two hours.

As a side note, I think it's pretty awesome that I can change my thermostat on my phone from pretty much anywhere in the world.  

I should also note that Mike was pretty awesome.  He took the time to explain everything to me as well as he could.  I think that in his line of work, which is extremely technical in nature, one of the hardest parts is understanding pricing in such a way so that it can be explained fluently to customers, and he excelled at that.  He also pointed out a couple of other products that the folks at Hays stand behind without offering any pressure to make a purchase.  I'm pretty sure that Mike ended up getting off about 30 minutes after the time his shift was supposed to end, and he had a long drive through traffic to get home.  Those kinds of things annoy the crap out of me when I have to deal with them, but he shrugged them off with a just doing my job attitude.  I think Mike really likes what he does for a living, and I admire that.

I will also be calling Hays next fall to do my semi-annual inspection.  I highly recommend them.

The team at Cool Zone performed an AC inspection before I bought my new home. They identified a duct issue that would have cost me $4000; I was able to recoup it from the seller. Because of the inspection they performed, I had Cool Zone redo all of my duct work in the house. Dave was great and incredibly communicative. The work took a bit longer than planned, but it turned out great, the team took time to answer my questions, and they listened to my asks to move ducts around so I could raise ceilings. I'll likely need a new AC unit soon and I plan to go back to Cool Zone because of their quality work and professionalism. I definitely recommend them to others!

So my thoughts are when the house hits 102 degrees, call Heath at Arctic Fox Heating and Air, (623) 533-5718, because he is seriously the best - and honest - and reasonable - keeps you updated, and does what he says he's going to do. We've had experiences with less than honest technicians from other company's and it's just not worth it.  We just gave him keys to the house for three days, and we stayed in an air conditioned hotel!  We completely trust Heath and his team, and have total respect for what he does.

I am pleased to write a great review for the family run business of Gladiate Air Conditioning & Heating.  Dave and Gabriel called before our scheduled appointment.  They arrived on time.  They spent an hour servicing my air conditioner (that I should have had serviced sooner).  They replaced wires worn out by the sun.  As I vacuumed my pool, I could see on the roof how they checked everything thoroughly.  And their price for service was only $65.  I learned of the company through Yelp (5 stars).  I am now a loyal customer and want others to feel comfortable calling for service with Gladiator Air.

I was incredibly impressed with Biltmore Mechanical!  David answered my call immediately and was able to come over the same day.  He diagnosed my problem within about 5 minutes and  discussed with me the deficiencies of my system.  He was able to get my system up and running that very same day and also  got me two new automated thermostats.  He was very reasonably priced.  I was extremely happy with him.  Biltmore Mechanical is now my go to HVAC company.  Highly recommend!!!!

Mike was absolutely wonderful. We had installed a thermostat incorrectly and were stuck without AC overnight.

I had messaged him in the middle of the night for a quote and he was very quick to respond. The price was very very good!

I called him first thing in the morning and left a message and he called back shortly after. He asked what was going on with our new thermostat and had me send him photos. He was actually working on a different appointment that morning, but had to go to a supply store that was nearby our house, so he stopped by. He had everything fixed and the cold air was blowing in about ten minutes.

I will definitely use him and recommend him for all of our future needs with our air conditioning. He was very friendly and definitely knew what he was doing!

WOW! 10/10 service from Alan's Air!

Our AC broke around 7am and I called them around 8:30am. Alan's Air said they would come between 12-2pm. I assumed they said that time frame because they would be coming at 2 BUT NO they came at 12!! I was pleasantly surprised and soo happy that they were there- the man that came to fix the AC was so friendly and got right to the problem and knew how to fix it- he was probably here for 30-45 minutes max to fix everything we needed. He was interactive but also knew he was there to get a job done. I will be calling Alan's Air for the rest of my AC troubles because the process was so easy. I would give them more stars if I could! Our AC has been working since the moment he left. The pricing was reasonable and it was an overall great experience.

My AC was blowing warm air the day after it hit triple digits, so I called for help. I checked yelp for someone who was close by and highly rated.

Alex returned my call within 15 minutes, and shortly after that was at my place. He was friendly and worked efficiently to diagnose the problem. He explained clearly what needed to be done, and what the options and costs were. Overall, I'm very happy with the service and the reasonable cost.

So I was in the cooking dinner and noticed it was getting a a little hotter in the kitchen than the usual. Turns out, the AC in our home is went out in the middle of summer. The thermostat was showing 92 degrees inside! So I turn on every fan we have (which was no help) felt like we were living inside an air fryer. Long story short I started calling a bunch AC repair places who claim to be 24/7 but the earliest they could come out was 2-3days later. -__-  Anyways I contacted Desert Comfort Mechanical around 11:30 pm and they were able to come out the following morning. The crew Fadel and Dennis are great guys and took really good care of us. They were knowledgeable courteous , Fast, and gave us a fair price. What I like most is that did not rip us off like the other AC company we've used before with the big ugly blue trucks with the goofy looking polar bear on the side. Desert Comfort Mechanical  will  definitely be my go to for any AC problems. 100% satisfied, Thank you guys again.

There are many restoration companies available in the Phoenix area so it is important to know & trust the people that will be in your home.   That is what you get when you call Melanie and work with her team.  Having damage to your home is never fun but dealing with a company like Silver City can at least make it easy.   I do recommend.

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

Don't use them (him) Craig comes off very profession at 1st but once he runs and cashes your check you will never get him to respond back or call you back. Also changed his name to CMS restoration because his rating was so bad. He's a shiester. Don't trust him. When it drys is when you can tell it's a very poor job and he's already ran to the bank.
