After 18 years, I had to replace both heat-pumps on my house. Larson serviced them for the past 2 years but they finally gave up the ghost. By all accounts, I got my monies worth out of them, thanks to regular service.  The team (Mike, Zach and Brandon) did a great job removing the old Trane systems and replacing them with new Trane systems. The new systems are more efficient and better built so,  with regular service, they should last as long as my old system. Mike has tremendous attention to detail and made sure everything was installed correctly and tested before leaving. They corrected some mistakes made by the previous installer which will improve the quality and efficiency of the new units. Larson was not the cheapest but, the quality of work by this team is second to none. I recommend Larson Air without reservation.

As an out of state homeowner, I was hesitant to have work done at my rental property but the heat pump was 22 years old and I didn't want to have to do it in emergency mode.  I contacted three companies with great reviews on Yelp, and Mike gave me the most detailed quote with multiple options.  Turned out to be the most competitive bid as well.  Great communication with me and with my tenant, and sent me receipts by email and snail mail, along with the warranty.  Well done!

I want to share a review for Phillip & Boldt HVAC after helping is with our emergency today.
I searched Yelp last night for a highly reviewed and reputable HVAC company to determine the cause of a burning smell coming from my AC unit and get us up and running again. Phillip (owner) and Tino showed up right on time. The care he takes to properly diagnose & troubleshoot to find the root cause of the failure with the system based on the years of experience reasures us that he will get the job done right the first time.  He provides the corrective action and fix for exactly what is failing and does not up sell his customers for parts that are still functional.  They even noticed that one of the covers for the refrigerant was missing an o-ring and replaced it (possibly saving hundreds of dollars in R22 replacement).  Phillip & Tino provided honest service at affordable prices and will most defintely call and recommend Boldt HVAC for all our HVAC needs in the future.

Called Johnny at 7am this morning and he was here at 8:30am to see why my ac started blowing heater temp air last night.  He determined it was the fan motor.  He replaced it and it made a horrible noise only audible from the exterior of the home. Inside it sounded fine. He had to leave (without payment) to get to his next appointment and stated he would return.  I was perfectly fine with that. He returned timely and after trouble shooting realized a few old bolts needed to be tightened in the casing the fan motor sat in.  It is such an old unit.  The drain was clogged and they were able to clear that up. They confirmed the Freon was full.  Johnny was diligent in insisting the unit run smoothly and as quietly as possible, in spite of it's age. He explained things to me as he worked. He also cleaned up after he left.  The price seemed on point for the fan motor which I determined with a quick web search.  What a nice, down to earth, honest set of guys.  I offered him a credit card and he frowned. Ha!  He's old school. Have your check book handy.  I will definitely be using Johnny in the future, as well as recommend him to friends and neighbors.

My AC died on Father's Day. I called Hays and they were quick to respond.

They called 30 minutes before they arrived so I wasn't sitting around waiting.

The tech was knowledgeable and courteous. He showed me why the unit stopped and then quoted me a price.  When he told me he didn't have the part on his truck I assumed it be another day without AC. Nope, the part was delivered to my home in less than 30 minutes.  

Great company. I highly recommend them.

I called several places when our AC stopped working at 8pm on a hot Phoenix June night. No one answered or called me back except Arizona Air Experts, they came out that next morning and fixed our unit in under 30minutes and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Patrick is amazing! First I used the yelp app to reach out and get some basic idea. I feel that cool zone air was pretty quick with their response time. And it was not the cheapest estimate I got but how they handled my business is what got them the 5 stars. On time with their estimated time with the phone call before letting us know they were on their way. Very honest with what needed to be done and not over priced. They asked us about their service program but did not push the issue. I will use them from now on!!

We had a packrat take up residence in our 8-year old Mitsubishi ductless mini-split HVAC unit to our bedroom. WTF??? Called the original contractor, their estimate for replacement was astronomical. My wife called her BFF for a referral, and she recommended Arctic Fox. Tim contacted us immediately, offered to replace the system for a reasonable cost, and was there two days later with everything ready to go. Tim and Keith spent literally the entire day installing the new system, including careful sealing of the required new access hole, making sure all wiring and connectors were weather (and rodent) proof, as well as completely repairing the old hole (which was a rough hole that the prior contractor had simply punched through the wall, without any finishing, sealing or weather-proofing). Very happy with the result, I highly recommend them. Bye, George!

Honest and knowledgeable! I would recommend Gladiate air to anyone. Gabirel has a ton of experience and works hard to resolve any issues. He has serviced our ac for many years.

Dukes of Air are amazing!! First they drive a really cool orange van or truck. It reminds me if dukes of hazard. Of course that was on purpose on their part :). Every time I have needed service they were able to get someone out to me same day. I'm in AZ without AC, yes I need same day service and they delivered. Always friendly staff when I call and the techs that arrive are super knowledgeable. Tom was awesome and got something done for me that wasn't even ac related. Well kind of .... my Ac wasn't working as the breaker was tripping very frequently. Frequent enough that I couldn't cool the house down. Tom came out and my ac was fine. Instead it was my circuit breaker. It needed replacement.  He completed the job. Went out purchased the breaker and took care of my problem. The best service from an AC company I have ever received bar none. Well deserved of my review and the 5 stars.

So I wake up on a Sunday morning and it's 91 in my house... I first called a large chain AC place and briefly spoke with a receptionist/scheduler. Was given a 5 hour time frame and just didn't feel she (the company) really cared. I then decided to try someone else and I could not be more pleased with who I called!
David (the owner of Biltmore Mechanical H&C) picked up, very pleasant (again calling on a Sunday morning...) right from the get go. He was already on a call and gave me a 2 hour window (1-3); I said I'll take it, but earlier the better. Come 11am he stated he was able to finish the other job quicker than expected and could be over sooner.
11:30; David is here and in less than 1 hour, my AC was running again! Bad wiring led to compressor not kicking on/cooling. He checked  all aspects of outdoor unit (Freon levels, ensure equipment was working properly, etc.). He probably could have upsold me on something I didn't need to make an extra buck, but he didn't and I am very thankful for that (as I'm no millionaire...). He explained everything in a friendly / professional manner and I am so thankful that once again, myself and my dog are cool! Just in time, as it's about to be 115 on Thursday.

We were looking for an affordable, friendly AC company that could help us out with our unit. Bumble Bee was the winner! We don't know much about the units, but they gave us detailed information about our unit and the different options we had for fixing versus replacing it. They worked with us a lot and definitely cared about our needs. This company is my go-to if I need their services again or if I need to refer someone. Thank you again Bumble Bee!

From start to finish, Mike was great. We had recently converted our office to a nursery and the room wasn't cooling adequately for our daughter to sleep. Mike talked to me at length over the phone about the issue, scheduled to come out the next day, was communicative about his ETA on the scheduled date, was efficient at evaluating the problem and came up with a solution. He was in and out in less than two hours, and the price was reasonable. More than anything, I trusted him right away. You can tell he is an honest guy, and ethical, (which from what I've heard from others in the business is not easy to find.) What more could I ask for?! I will definitely recommend him to friends & family in the area.

Called Alan a couple weeks ago after buying and moving into a new house because there was no air blowing through the vent in the master bathroom.  He asked if I could meet him the next morning at 8am, I drove over to meet him and he was there right on time!  He checked out the problem and called me to say the duct was crushed and just needed a small new piece of duct.  He tried to find the exact type of duct but they don't sell it anymore so he ran a new duct line and did all this for about $100, I was expecting much worse.  He is honest, well priced, and a great guy to work with.

I just called him back this afternoon and he was here within a couple of hours when I asked if/how we could get any more air to the bathroom so he came and adjusted all our vents so that all rooms are getting equal air and it is now working great!  He gave us a few other possible suggestions on how we could improve air flow easily and went out of his way to make us a happy customer, this is 5+ stars in my book, especially for a contractor, he is great!

I don't know where to start but long story short, I initially contacted Alex and Elena at ideal energy because my summer cooling bills were ridiculous and some rooms in the house were warmer than others. I was sent Theo for a 3 hour thorough inspection and analysis and Theo knew exactly what he was doing. This was a guy who was a subject matter expert and provided me with a dozen page report detailing everything. It turned out that my insulation in the attic and the duct system was all messed up. So I scheduled an appointment for them to take care of all of those issues.
A whole crew was sent out to my house, i think 6-7 people with the crew lead Kristian who is definitely an expert at what he does. Each and every one of them was professional and well mannered, very knowledgeable, they did an amazing job and an amazing cleanup after they were done and all with a smile on their faces, which you don't see too often these days. Alex contacted me later in the afternoon to make sure that everything went well as i would expect from any business that knows how to take of customers. I have noticed a big change with the added comfort and i will definitely be contacting them again in the future.

I moved into a new home that had a single unit on the roof with two stories, and my main concern was air flow. I had 6 different companies give me a diagnostic and quotes (the high end being 12K to fix duct work and add insulation) and nobody had one singular way to fix the problem I had. I reached out to Desert Comfort and they sent Sean, their air-flow guru to take a look at the system. He explained the poor design, the lack of access and the air flow issues. He also was realistic about what results I could expect, and how my system was choking with only a single return. He obviously had been doing this for decades and can work by feel. He said he would write up the scope of work.

I worked with Joseph Albertson who is the Customer Relationship Manager. He was nothing short of fantastic. We traded multiple emails back and forth,t he quote was upfront and reasonable, and I ended up adding on a few services and he guided me away from options that would only cost me money.

The crew arrived at 6AM, Sean and a partner. They go in my attic, added a new return, did an air balance, added a remote thermostat. While on top of the roof checking the system they spotted an issue with a line backup and a pound of refrigerant being low. Everything was informative and no salesmanship, I opted to have them take care of the issues on the spot. Joseph's first concern was our experience with the onsite. It was fantastic. E-invoice was easy to pay, clear to read, and this company was a pleasure to deal with. They don't advertise and they work via word of mouth and by their yelp reviews. Compared to the dozens of shady outfits in PHX that crowd out the good providers, these guys are a great provider.

Unsatisfied in many ways, although the reps for silvercity seemed very helpful and worked fast in many ways their end job of poor at best. They didn't replace what our insurance (USAA) told them was covered. They reset broken or damaged property then told us we would have to pay out of packet to get what our insurance said should of been replaced. They cut and tore into our carpet then when reset they blamed our dogs for the damage and said they wouldn't replace it. The list goes on and we are still fighting with there company to fix or replace damaged items. They couldn't even reset the damaged cabinets level with one another. End

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

0  STARS:     REFUSE TO SUPPLY WHAT THEY ADVERTISE:          Found their ad in the magazine The Grand Season Sun City West Edition.  They offer $239.00 for 5 rooms carpet cleaned plus sofa/love seat and grout cleaning.  Seemed like a good deal!  When I called the man said no way I can do that for that price. I told him that is what his ad says- how can you refuse to do it!  He insisted that he could not do it - it is a mistake.   I questioned him and asked have you as a businessman heard of truth in advertising?  Even if it is a mistake you should honor your advertising. After more discussion he told me (very sarcastically) that I was a real sweetheart and then hung up!
I would NOT RECOMMEND using this company as they obviously don't supply what they advertise!
