I sent a message through Yelp looking for help with a drain repair. Received a reply within minutes.

Worst experience I have ever had with a company in my life. They charged me over $200 for being here for 30 minutes and nothing was fixed in the slightest. Get yourself a company you can pay to actually fix the problem, the whole situation and aftermath was beyond unprofessional.

As I write this review, I have mixed feelings about Hansen Family plumbing.  The experience that we had is both positive and negative.  On the positive side, everyone we had contact with was polite and were able to accommodate our repair needs in a timely matter.  But this is where I start to have mixed feelings about the honesty or integrity of the company.  

This morning we had a leak develop in the kitchen ceiling of our house, causing a 3 foot by 3 foot wet spot.    After ripping open the drywall and removing the insulation that was soaked myself, we found a section of pipe that was dripping.  This pipe appeared to have been repaired, in the past, but not very well by the looks of it.  Original quote by the repair tech was $400 to repair.  When we decided to cancel the repair and do it ourselves, the price was adjusted to $249.  

The repair would take about 15-20 minutes, consist of two fittings and a small length of PEX tubing.  In total, the parts would be no more than $40.  I understand that there is a service call fee and there is an expense for the repairman's time, but to ask for over $200 in labor costs seems a bit excessive.  Making two cuts, pushing on two Shark-bite connectors and fitting a 24 inch piece of PEX tubing between the fittings does not seem to warrant $200 in labor.  At that rate, his hourly rate would be over $800/hr.  Applying a principal of good customer service, would be applying a fair repair cost based on the actual work required to repair the leak.  Good customer service is rewarded with referrals and positive reviews.

Based on this experience, I will not be recommending or using Hansen Family Plumbing in the future.

We called Lawson Family Plumbing and spoke to someone in the morning. By 10:30 AM Jason showed up and resolved our problem immediately. I couldn't be happier with the speedy service, the knowledge Jason displayed and the professionalism of the entire experience. Plumbing issues are no joke, so making sure to hire a good company who will send out a good technician is extremely important. I highly recommend using Lawson Family Plumbing.

I messaged for some plumbing work on laundry hookups and they got right back to me.   Larry the technician came out within 2 hours and completed all work as quoted.   Very happy.  Great job.

Mike P did it again! I purchased a new home and I knew right away that the water heater would need to be replaced, unfortunately it didn't even last two months before it started leaking. The work done prior was very poorly done. The trey was not installed efficiently and it started leaking into my cabinets. One reason why we keep going back to bumble bee is the level of installation is beyond what I have ever seen. The piping and the level of detail with each installation is far superior than other plumbing companies. I will add pictures to help explain. Mike added two shut off valves to give me peace of mind and he always adds a tube going off of the concrete platform for trey so that it doesn't leak into my home or cabinets. I also purchase a water softener from him and I paid just a tad over from other quotes I got because I knew the quality of work from Mike and bumble bee is worth it. I also purchased their warranty and it is so worth it. They come anytime I have a concern and never charge a fee to quote or come out. I had the worst experience with the plumber my home warranty sent it took 3 days to get them to approve them to reimburse me in order for me to use bumble bee. I waited 3 days without a water heater just so I could give them my business. As consumers we have to reward good quality work. The plumber my warranty company sent me was crooked and beyond rude. There was no way I was giving them my business. I can not recommend them enough, everyone I have ever spoken to is highly professional, I found my plumbers for life!

I'd give more stars if it were an option, GREAT service and I cannot express how happy I am to finally have found a good plumber.  The card with Ton'ys name has already been filed.
I was told on the phone that the estimate would be done in person, free of charge.  No mention at all about any service charges if I did not do the repair like most places.  Tony was on time, was able to take care of the problem quickly.  Friendly, professional, competent, could not ask for more.  I highly recommend this company.

After talking to the mfgr of our hot water heater Proskill has taken care of us and fixed the dark water that was coming out of the hot water faucets. They have promised to come back in a month and check again and if still a problem replace water heater under warranty. Thanks Proskill...

Uncommonly good experience.  Solid work too.  Very reasonable pricing.  So glad I hired Sound Plumbing to install the water softener I bought at HD.  They also had to install the Plumb lines as the house wasn't built to accommodate a water softener.

Mont and his team were amazing. They came out on the same day to give us a quote for a huge job and fit us in two days later because we were in a time crunch. He gave us a fair price and worked all day to finish the job in one day. I messaged him on a Sunday evening about a potential follow-up problem, and not only did he respond, but he sent someone the next day to have it fixed. 100% plumbing will definitely be our go-to plumbers from now on.

Highly recommend . Tommy our plumber was so prompt and very good to deal with . It was an usual problem but he fixed it . Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant .

I had a leak from an upstairs shower that seeped down to the first floor ceiling and possibly down the first floor wall. I called Lawson Family Plumbing based on what seemed like legit Yelp reviews.

They answered the phone right away. No message with, We'll call you back when we have time. Then they scheduled someone for later that day!

Daryl came and what a nice man. Down to business but just really genuine and no b.s.  Luckily he was there before the restoration company the insurance company sent out left. Daryl took about 5 ten minutes to inspect the shower, took a hard look. He then acquiesced to my request he huddle with the restoration guys and he said, I don't think this is a plumbing problem. I think the water is getting through the cracks of the tile joints. That was exactly the opinion of the other company.

I was so grateful he didn't just try to make money and ask for permission to start removing tiles, etc. not only was he honest, but he and Lawson Family Plumbing did not even charge a fee!!!! EVERYBODY charges an outlandish service fee even if they don't do anything!

Do yourself a favor. USE THESE GUYS!

Excellent outcome! Great friendly service and most importantly honest. The technician is skillful in trouble shooting and repair. Highly recommend!

We had a problem with the a/c and a technician by the name of Frank came out. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained everything, and gave us a couple of different options to fix it. He did a good job and I thought the price was fair. Just an FYI that there is a $79 trip charge. But I thought it was well worth it and would pay it again based on our experience.

Today was my second time being thoroughly impressed by this company. They were able to come out to my house within a couple hours of calling, they were highly professional and were able to successfully fix my a/c quickly.

I highly recommend this company!
