Russ is easily one of the best handymen in the Entire valley.  Not only is he a pleasure to work with he is incredibly capable and diligent.  He's done projects on two homes for me and will definitely work on more.  I'm very glad to have found him and you will definitely be pleased with his service. I just had my house remodeled by DJ and have never been more pleased.  The replaced the flooring, repaired the bathroom shower and updated the fireplace.  They were on time, gave great suggestions and the final product looks spectacular.  He knew we were selling our house so that was all taken into consideration.  Love these guys and what they do.  Have already recommend them to all my friends!!

If you want to get work from someone, your first priority should be to make sure they listen to you.  This guy was talking over every conversation I would start.  I have a whole house to remodel and wanted to start with a small project to see his work.  I could not even explain my concerns because he had to interject to tell me that I did not know what I was talking about.

Then he is too lazy to come out and give a free estimate. He suggested I take pictures and tell him what I want and send it via email!

Really, I love technology but that just sounds like he is either lazy or he will drive price up once he see's job in person.

I needed to have two small sections of fence replaced.  One was about 14 feet while the other was about 17 feet.  I didn't realize how much of a challenge it would be to even get someone to come out to take a look at it.

It wouldn't have been so bad if folks would just say sorry, but we're too busy to bid on a project that small.

I think if you were to ask Tony, the guy who did the job for me, he would probably disagree that there was anything small about this job.

I think Handyman Connection was the fifth or sixth business I tried to contact to do this work.  Tony was the first of three individuals to actually come out to bid.  He was also the only one of the three who sounded like he knew what he was doing.  You see, I know a lot about what needs to be done and how it needs to be done.  I have zero experience actually doing the work, and I'm really glad I didn't take this one on myself.

It ended up turning into a three day project because of some unforeseen circumstances, and Tony was still a champ honoring the original quote despite the extra time it took.  

When Tony did the estimate, I told him that I was the kind of guy who typically only liked to buy something once.  If I end up living out the rest of my days in this house, I don't ever want to replace the fence again.  He said he was going to do it with redwood.  Well crap.  I don't know what that means.  I know redwood is a durable hardwood, so I guess that's a good thing, right?

In fact, I wasn't even all that concerned with how good it looked as long as the construction was sound.  

I think the surprise I was in for was definitely beyond my wildest imagination.  At the unveiling, my initial though after looking at a dirty old brown fence for the last five years was wow, that's bright.  And pink.  But everything in the desert is pink, so I guess it fits right in.

But here is the deal.  I could tell that Tony was proud of his work, but didn't want to sound like a blowhard by bragging it up.  He showed me a couple of things, like how he carved out one of the sides of the fence to ensure that it was plump against the adjacent wall that wasn't square.  It was pure attention to detail.

I sealed it up with Thompson Water Seal the next morning, and it did deepen the hue significantly so it's more of a rusty orange than the bright pink.  What's more is that as time goes along and I work around the fence (I have some pavers to redo now, which was to be expected), I'm coming to love it more and more.  This morning, when I watered my lawn for the first time since the fences went in, I truly think that it all kind of sunk in.  These fences that Tony built for me are so simple and yet beautiful, I feel that they deserve a photo to show them off.  

Besides, I have a feeling that Tony would want to see them after they had been sealed.  Once the grass regrows, my back yard is going to be freaking awesome.

After my review the owner of the business, Brian, reached out. It seems there was some confusion as who was going to contact who. I was impressed in talking with Brian and learning more about him. My take away is that he is honest, empathic, and a hard working business owner. Since I had no work done I cannot speak to their craftmanship.
I will give 5 stars for the integrity and communication on the part of the owner.

We had our shower done by these guys and it came out beautifully! They were all so friendly and put up with our nosey kid and dog, we would absolutely recommend going with them! Any hiccups that came up Ali addressed immediately and we appreciated that!

Dion and his team did a super job renovating our guest bathroom. They took great care to make sure the work was done to our satisfaction, they worked with our crazy schedule, and  they left the worksite in perfect order each day. Highly professional and highly recommended.

Irving did a great job with our laundry room cabinets and countertop and an amazing job on our 24 foot accent wall. He has a high attention to detail and he shows up and is super reliable. Highly recommend

Liberty Remodeling did a great job on our patio. They were the first to respond for our request for a quote, came out the same day to measure abs give us a price, and were easy to work with. The project was to add a 60x10 ft patio cover on to our existing slab. They poured new footers, and everything. The process was smooth and Alex kept in communication with us. The only thing they did not do was the roofing, which my husband did, but it was not a problem and it turned out beautifully. It is one of our favorite places to hang out and the sun does not beat into our house like it did. Summer will be a lot easier this year!

I've used a contractor once and it was a complete nightmare. I was terrified that I would have similar issues with Dream Builder Renovation and I'm very pleased to announce that they exceeded my expectations.  The price was very fair for the work I needed completed. Also, the work was completed within the time frame I was originally quoted. Maisa is awesome. She would text me throughout the day letting me know when Elvis would be arriving, what items were completed, what will be completed next and when, along with pics so I could see the progress for myself. I also liked how the work was able to completed without me  being present.
I never had butcher block counter tops before , I only had laminate. I love how Elvis brought to my attention that my butcher blocks were not sealed and he recommended that they be sealed. When I purchased my home, the tile job in my master bath was not very good (if I'm being tact). Elvis cut the tile properly; removed old caulk and applied new caulk. Now my tub looks perfect. I wanted sliding closet doors installed. Elvis picked out perfect doors and installed them. He knew exactly what I wanted which saved me a lot of time from having to get it myself. The original tile in my son's bathtub was also crooked and the tub needed to be resurfaced. Elvis took care of that as well for me. I'm very happy with the work and I look forward to calling Elvis again for future projects.

I had the wonderful experience of doing a 3 bathroom  remodel with Phoenix Home Remodel in the fall of 2019. The entire team was extremely professional, easy to communicate with, reasonably priced and fabulous to work with. From the initial meeting with Jeremy to the final walk through, they made the entire process easy and manageable. Loved the app to track the whole process, loved when Mark was able to explain my vision to plumbers, glass, tile and the many other trades that we were working with. This company is so amazing, I thought that I knew what I was doing but in all honesty I need them to help guide me into my kitchen remodel. My favorite thing about them is how clean and organize they are, also their professional input has been so on point! I also have been adding to the project, from when it started and Kyle and his wife are so cool about making the vision come to life! I can't wait to use them again!!!

Finally, we bit the bullet and updated our bathrooms. Our old guest bathrooms had lower than normal cabinets, a cheap white countertop, a dated bathtub (with shower curtain (ewww)) , an eroding mirror and chrome and gold fixtures (yuck!). Our master bath had lower that normal cabinets, a cheap white countertop, and chrome and gold fixtures (again, yuck!).
We visited Sunset Tile & Bath. Mark, assisted us in the showroom with many of the decisions that had to be made. The man is very knowledgeable about the products and options for our new bath. And a real saint for his patience with our indecision! We hammered out the demolition and start date. Time for the next step. Let's do it! Thank you Mark! It didn't take long before our bathrooms were gone. They did leave an old sink so that we had water until the new ones went in. After demolition and measurements, we waited for our countertops and glass. After receiving the cabinets and countertops, the craftsmen went at it. They removed a large Jacuzzi tub and replaced the chrome and gold faucet with brushed nickel. Then the cabinets went in and were nicely trimmed to perfection. Next the beautiful new countertops, sink and brushed nickel faucets. Last, brand new shiny mirrors rounded out the renovation. The tub in the guest bathroom was replaced with a custom shower. The water valve was placed to the side so that guests don't get blasted with cold water. They also installed a really convenient shelf. Let me say this. Most of my life I have done most of my own work. I understand the work that was being done. These guys are experts with masonry, installation of countertops, cabinets, and plumbing. All new shut off valves, everything was new and updated from the wall out. This is a crew of real professionals! I would without hesitation recommend sunset bath and tile to anyone considering renovations. I am only sorry that we waited so long to enjoy our new bathrooms.

We used Gorilla Builders to do a home addition.  Were there times we wished the schedule could be expedited- yes, did we run into problems that had to be negotiated- yes.   We were probably naive to the construction/contracting process so posiblly these frustrations are par for the course.  Ultimately we have a 2bedroom 500sq ft addition that we love.  We have had many people tell us that it looks like the addition was part of the original home- the ultimate compliment in my opinion!  Since completion of the project we have had two very minor issues that Jeff (the owner) has very promptly taken care of.  We had electricians at our home to look into and fix without question within one day.

Andrew and his crew did a great job replacing the windows in my condo!! He also gave me a very fair price, which ended up being almost half of what other companies quoted. I will definitely be using Green Home Services for future needs and will recommend to my friends.
