Our experience with VETSBuilt was nothing short of excellent. Bob, our contractor, stayed right on top of things and was responsive to our concerns as well as keeping us informed as to issues, and schedules. We are experienced remodelers ourselves so appreciated the level of skill demonstrated by the crews and the attention to detail. The lead carpenter, Craig, was nothing short of amazing.

This was, unfortunately, not a typically remodel.  We started with fixing the floor that was an inch higher than the rest of the house, along with enlarging a window, ripping out a closet and adding cabinets. When we started with the floor the persons who had remodeled the room before caused us to have to remove everything they had previously done and start all over again. We wanted it done correctly. But even though we started from scratch Bob, kept the job running smoothly.

The subcontractors he hired were amazing.  We had to pour a new cement floor.  The cement masons were excellent. Roger the tile guy, did everything we asked him to do. The cabinet maker was very concern about what we wanted, again the cabinets are beautiful. The room we call an office/craft room is everything we wanted. They did an excellent job. We will hire them again if we ever need help again.

Kent's team did a great job on my bathtub remodel! They fixed a plumbing issue with my tub and did a beautiful job with the tile and shower nook. This was my first rental remodel and Kent was extremely patient with me in explaining everything and answering all of my questions. Kent also helped me get all my interior walls skimcoated to get rid of the ugly knockdown texture and popcorn ceiling. Kent's bid is very clear and breaks down the cost upfront which I appreciated. Overall, great quality work!

Horrible experience and would not recommend. I wish they were as eager to complete the job as they are to collect payment.

I saw one of their trucks in my neighborhood and snapped a picture of their number. I had extensive damage to an exterior door from water making its way under the door and into the walls of my house over time. I could of messed it up myself but decided I better call and see what they may charge to help replace the door and drywall/stud work. Tony was sent out to my house to give me an estimate of the work involved. He was out the next week and gave me an idea of what I needed to have done. I went ahead and scheduled the work, unfortunately so had everyone else and they were booked out almost a month. I'm happy to say Tony showed back up this week and replaced my damaged door, cut out the bad wood, Sheetrock and studs and replaced it all! His work was very thorough and he even let me bug him enough to learn what he was doing through the process. You can tell he takes pride in his work doing things the right way. This being my first experience with Handyman Connection, I am very pleased with the entire process from the estimate, booking, office scheduling and emails to keep me up to dat on what to expect through the entire process. I will recommend them to anyone who needs works done. Tony also made the entire process seamless, he is an asset to their company, Thank You!

Edit: These guys are super strange. And I'm not sure as to the ethics behind sharing emails. He also negated to share the final email I. Which I assured him that at no point did I think his disorganization and lack of communication stemmed from malice. However, being disorganized and uncommunicative is noteworthy, and thusly why the review was posted.

We had our shower done by these guys and it came out beautifully! They were all so friendly and put up with our nosey kid and dog, we would absolutely recommend going with them! Any hiccups that came up Ali addressed immediately and we appreciated that!

While I didn't end up using D&D to conduct my construction work, I am leaving them a review because I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service.  In a world where business rarely respond or follow-up, they did.  That really speaks volumes, and I feel that had I hired them for the job, they would have never missed a scheduled date.

Irving had a bit of difficulty with my slider because the frame was old and slightly bent. Nonetheless, he was able to install the door so that it latched. He had to make frames for four of my windows because they are not standard frames. He did a fine job. I recommend him.

My back patio covering was leaking and uneven. I ended up calling Alex from Liberty Remodeling and he came out gave me a very good estimate. They did great work and looks110% better. Thank you!

Excellent service. Elvis came over and did the work within one hour of our first point of contact. He did great - got the parts we needed and installed new door handles on our exterior doors.  The best service at a fair price.

Marcus remodeled our master bathroom.  he installed our whirlpool tub, built our walk-in shower and installed our double vanity.  He used a laser level so all tile lines were precise.  He does great work at reasonable prices... Highly recommended!

10:30 am We ordered two ceiling fans and a remote on Amazon thinking we would take advantage of their new Amazon Home Services Group. Our experience was horrible outside of Amazon's normal amazing delivery speed. The day of the installation we received a window of between 11am and 2pm. Kyle from I'm Gonna Fix It called and said they were wrapping up with another client and would be there around 3pm. A gentleman named Chris showed up at 4:30pm and started to work on installing our fans. He pulls me aside before he is done and says We can bill your second fan through Amazon, or if you can pay cash we will do it for 80.00 instead. Amazon charges us a 20% service fee so we can offer a cash discount.
We are so far behind schedule my wife has time to stop and grab the money on the way home from work. Right before he leaves he comes back and says Hey I don't have a screwdriver to put the batteries in the remote. He then leaves without testing it, so we had no idea if it would work. Needless to say, the remote won't sync with the system he installed so I call them up and ask them to fix it or remove the unit so we can send it back.
Chris comes out again, this time, he doesn't have a ladder, even though he needed one the first time, so we let him use ours. (What kind of a service comes without a screwdriver or a ladder?), tests the unit, then tells me Because the unit is defective we have to bill you 65.00 for the hour I was here, but not to worry Amazon will most likely cover the error because the unit was defective. So now they want Amazon to pay us back for their mistake.
His office calls to bill us and I ask them Why are we paying you to remove something that you didn't test on installation. If the tech actually tested the unit and didn't just leave, then we wouldn't be having a second service call. She says, Ok I'll call the owner and ask what we can do.
Less than five minutes later Chris shows back up at my house asking me, What's the problem, and that it was ok to bill us because we let him leave without testing it. It's not only extremely unprofessional to send a service tech back to your front door (not to mention the same one that didn't test the unit) to try and argue on behalf of the company, it borders on intimidation. I wouldn't agree that it was our fault that he didn't test the product he installed and I asked him to leave. The then promptly charged us the 65.00 for the hour.  I will never be using Amazon's Home Services again; I'll stick with hiring my Rosie on the House certified contractors.

2:00pm I added this in response to the owners comment.

I can tell you for us the service was nothing like 100% satisfied. It doesn't do me any good to yell at a technician coming to my house for being 2.5 hours late, it does let me know that maybe the company I am working with isn't 100% reliable. It doesn't do me any good when I tell the tech that I have a screwdriver available to put that batteries in, and he says it's fine and goes home. It wouldn't have done me any good this morning to send the man away because he showed up without a ladder when I had one he could use. It definitely didn't do any good to ask your company to make the service call right, because then I had a tech show back up at my house to blame me for his inability to put in batteries, and properly test something he installed.

The good news is there are companies out there that go above and beyond to make things right. Amazon refunded us your service fee of 65.00 and for the remote within the hour when we emailed them. Personally, I was shocked that they would cover a fee, that should have never been charged. It wasn't Amazon's fault we picked the wrong company off of the list to have come to our home. None of that mattered to Amazon, they made it right, and did it quickly, securing our continued business with them for a very long time.

As for offering to put in the new remote for free well I think you can see how we might not think of that as a plus. The last one cost us part of the initial 80.00 (fan installation), and an additional 65.00 (due to reasons listed above).

I appreciate the quick response to my review but fixing the issue when I called and spoke to your company would have been better. Instead, I talked to someone on the phone that said she would talk with the owner, had a technician show back up at my house to argue the point (which is not great service or professional), and then got a call three minutes later to pay because you felt it was due regardless.

Again I can't say enough good things about Amazon for erasing most of what turned out to be a horrible experience.

2:37pm Finally made it back in my bedroom tried to turn on the fan to take a nap and it doesn't even turn on manually now.

2:55 After a little investigation it seems the tech wired the fan to a different wall switch for the light and the fan, which he didn't do before. We are hiring another company to check the work.

They were nice and Pro.  my place become great!  They reconstruct the old area and cleaned up after, i will call them again for the next service.

Outstanding job and extremely impressed with this company. What I really liked is they have their own company workers that do the work and not subcontracting or picking up extra help as the job requires. They are very busy and had to wait a few months before they came out the the entire bathroom shower renovation was superb. They were professional, efficient, and respectful to include cleaning up well afterwards. My definite go-to renovation company and you won't go wrong hiring them. Thank you.

Gorilla Builders built us a 1500sqft detached RV garage.  They did a great job staying within budget, handling all of the permitting.  Timeline was doubled due to lack of trades available, but Jeff communicated well to keep me up to date.  Bob oversaw majority of project and was awesome to work with.  Overall I am very pleased with the end result and was done at a very reasonable price.

Andrew did an amazing job with our kitchen remodel. He was always accessible, prompt, detail-oriented and very knowledgeable. I would re-hire Green Home Services again without a second thought!

Doug with Husbands 2 Go recently replaced the vanity and light fixtures in our half bathroom. The job also required some tile work and drywall repair. We are so pleased with how everything turned out! Doug was honest and very up front about the costs. He was responsive and easy to work with. We will definitely use him again!
