The best in SF. Unbelievable skill and and an amazing guy. He is skilled beyond belief and incredibly fair. We'd never use anyone else for fixes, carpentry etc. He's a phenom.

DJ is a great guy to do business with. I am one of the his contractors and it's comforting to see another company that strives for customer service and satisfaction just as much as I do . He's a pleasure to work with, keeps constant communication, and will make sure the job gets done RIGHT. I wish everyone I did work for was as trustworthy and reliable as DJ

Kent provides a great service.  Great communication.  This was a big project for us completely remodeling our townhome. We had 2 bathrooms, a large area of tiling, kitchen counter tops and backsplash, replaced all trim and repainted.  Kent gave us a schedule but always accommodated our additions and changes.  On the rare occasion where one of his subcontractors couldn't fit our exact timing ( usually after I changed or added something), he communicated revised dates very clearly and then met the schedule he provided.  So refreshing after other experiences we have had.  The end result is really fantastic.  Beautiful tiles, quartz countertops, new bath and shower all better than expected.  Thank you Kent!

Wow, what an awesome positive experience.  I would highly recommend this Zona Restoration.  They responded to my flood within 2 hours of my call.  The moment Aaron answered my call I knew this was the right company. He had a calmness in his voice when I was very much upset and he calmed me down. Aaron explained to me that Will and his crew would be out and he explained the whole process of drying out, checking for mold etc. Will and the crew worked very hard and kept me informed every step of the way.   The next person I met was Ken and his crew who put my house back together again.    From start to finish, TOP NOTCH CREW and COMPANY.  I highly recommend them.

Quick and efficient. We needed our entire 2nd floor carpet replaced under a tight deadline. Brian and team were efficient, professional, and great to work with. The carpet looks amazing and they finished in one day.

We had our shower done by these guys and it came out beautifully! They were all so friendly and put up with our nosey kid and dog, we would absolutely recommend going with them! Any hiccups that came up Ali addressed immediately and we appreciated that!

While I didn't end up using D&D to conduct my construction work, I am leaving them a review because I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service.  In a world where business rarely respond or follow-up, they did.  That really speaks volumes, and I feel that had I hired them for the job, they would have never missed a scheduled date.

Irving did a great job with our laundry room cabinets and countertop and an amazing job on our 24 foot accent wall. He has a high attention to detail and he shows up and is super reliable. Highly recommend

We recently used Phoenix Home Remodeling to remodel our early 2000's Kitchen. The process was very easy and we enjoyed getting to know the team that came to do the work! We appreciated the straightforward approach to the overall plan, expectations, timing, and cost. This is a local to Ahwatukee company which was very reassuring that these folks not only work but live in this community with their name on the line. Communication was seamless and the work was exactly what we wanted! We will definitely use them again for future work and highly recommend them. Thanks for a great experience, and fantastic results!

Unprofessional, and nightmarish to deal with. Here's exactly what transpired:

I work 50 hours a week. I made an appointment with I'm Gonna Fix It through Amazon between the hours of 2PM-5PM on Sunday, my only day off this month. When 3 o'clock rolled around on Sunday and I had not heard from the company, I called and left a message. At 4 o'clock I sent again inquiring if the appointment was still good to go. Close to 5 o'clock I receive a message from Kyle (the owner) stating that he would have to reschedule do to personal issues. So, at this point I've planned my families day around this thing and have wasted my only day to be with them. In my industry, this is called No-Call-No-Show.

I immediately texted him back (I will post a screen shot of the conversation if Yelp will let me) informing him that this was unacceptable and that I do not have another available day all month to reschedule.

I was then rudely texted back Life Happens and then he went on to explain how there was a death in the family.

Now.... I am not a psychic so I do not know if these excuses are true or not. What I do know is this:

A) If you look at other reviews for this company, you will find similar experiences of unprofessionalism, excuses, and tardiness.
B) We were all young once and (speaking for myself) I made these type of excuses to my professors in high school.
C) If there really was a problem, I should have been personally contacted as soon as they found out they were unable to make it (Apparently even though the Personal Issues began on Friday, they were unable to contact me until AFTER the appointment was through on Sunday). The guy claims he contacted Amazon to cancel but that is totally untrue; amazon would have contacted me immediately.

In conclusion, the experience I had with this company was so poor I canceled their services altogether. I am not someone with unrealistic expectations... I am understanding that things do happen but with that being said I was not contacted until after the three hour time window had passed and my time had been blatantly wasted, not to mention insulted by the owner.

Buyer beware!

Juan and his crew did a fantastic job with our remodeling project! We couldn't be happier! G & C are true professionals. Very consciousnesses while doing their work. They always made sure to prep each area extensively like it was their own home. They were careful about not letting my dog out and keeping things locked up. Very courteous. They are detailed oriented and are so very knowledgeable. When the project started and as it moved along Juan had great remodeling suggestions and brought up things that  would have never crossed my mind. It was great to have him do the thinking for me. Overall, the project was very stress free and reasonably priced. Additionally, the communication between G&C was phenomenal. Juan is super responsive 7 days a week and always kept me updated on the daily schedule, so I knew what to expect which was helpful in planning my day. I never experienced any no shows and G&C was very flexible with scheduling and with last minute project changes that were made by me. We worked well together. Everything went smooth throughout my month-long remodel and Juan and his crew are so accommodating and great to work with. I highly recommend them. Additionally, they stand behind their work.

The decorator was super rude to me on the phone. The owner of the company justified her rude behavior because she was stressed.
Terrible professionalism. We are going elsewhere.

Gorilla Builders built us a 1500sqft detached RV garage.  They did a great job staying within budget, handling all of the permitting.  Timeline was doubled due to lack of trades available, but Jeff communicated well to keep me up to date.  Bob oversaw majority of project and was awesome to work with.  Overall I am very pleased with the end result and was done at a very reasonable price.

Andrew did an amazing job with our kitchen remodel. He was always accessible, prompt, detail-oriented and very knowledgeable. I would re-hire Green Home Services again without a second thought!

Doug helped me install a ceiling fan. He was able to accommodate picking up the item for me as well. He was very responsive and reliable. The service was prompt and everything transitioned smoothly and the installation comes with a one year warranty which is nice.
