Best General Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

Russ does great work. He installed two fans (one high ceiling), cleaned the roof (lot of debris from the monsoon), fixed the lock on the fence, and refurbished our shed. All in one day. He responded the fastest when I put the project inquiry on yelp. Very professional, very friendly, very reasonable on the price as well. He will be our go-to handyman from now on. Thank you Russ!

We did an addition to our home and I selected Vetsbuilt as a veteran I was looking for honesty, reliability and commitment to delivering quality. Bob at Vetsbuilt delivered everything I could have hoped for. With all the horror stories I've heard over the years about getting a project like this done I'm so happy I found Bob and Vetsbuilt.

We did a small bathroom re-do with Details Remodeling. Kent and all the guys he brought it were wonderful. He was responsive from the beginning when we wanted a quote and always replied to emails quickly. He was reliable throughout the whole process and got the job done quickly. Everything looked beautiful when he was done, no corners were cut to save time. His pricing was very reasonable and he was upfront about costs. Highly recommended.

From the beginning and upon first contact Zona Restoration showed extreme knowledge and understanding as well as compassion for our extreme situation.  We were currently having to deal with a highly incompetent and ruthless insurance company ASI/Arizona Restoration after experiencing a kitchen flood that left our home uninhabitable.
Thomas, our first point of contact was meticulous and very detailed in explaining the process and what to expect from the process we were about to enter upon. Jerry, was always available to answer questions over the phone when we needed assistance or guidance  when dealing with our below par insurer. Such great client service!  Denny who came out to do the quote on build back was also very thorough and also took the time to answer questions and listened compassionately to our frustrations.  
Unfortunately, we are in litigation with ASI /Arizona Restoration so we have to wait to rebuild our home. So, we contacted the Owner Aaron and thanked him for his excellent staff and his attention to our needs but we had to hold off on moving forward.  Aaron took the time to work out our billing and was so compassionate to our situation we were dumbfounded.
We highly recommend Zona and if you need to get a free estimate at least call Zona and have them come out to your home.  I assure you that you will have nothing but a great experience and support the entire way.

I had a significant hole in my stucco after a leak.  I dealt with two companies that dealt with stucco repair and each of them quoted me outrageous prices.  With some research online I came across this company and I promise you they are legit.  Extremely professional, punctual on appointment, very reasonably priced; and did a fantastic job repairing my stucco.   I had the pleasure of dealing with Ron and highly recommend him.

We hired Az Remodeling Pros to install new porcelain flooring and kitchen. The work was quite extensive as it required removal of walls, new plumbing lines, and a lot of electrical work.

The team was hard working, timely, knowledgeable, and professional. We now have the home of our dreams and the chef's kitchen that is the centerpiece of family time.

We had our shower done by these guys and it came out beautifully! They were all so friendly and put up with our nosey kid and dog, we would absolutely recommend going with them! Any hiccups that came up Ali addressed immediately and we appreciated that!

I highly recommend D&D construction. Dion was extremely knowledgeable and was great about answering questions. His crew did a very nice job enclosing our patio and installing new flooring. The quality and craftsmanship was first rate.

Irving transformed the kitchen and bathroom on my remodel into a modern classic.  Very detailed and thorough, just all around great job!  He also built a closet and bookshelf and the woodwork was exceptional.  Highly recommend!!

Writing this review for Alex and John Halliday at Liberty Remodeling.  They recently painted our house.  It was a non-trivially complicated project:  a 2-story 4000 sq ft house with a large attached pergola, stucco repair, stuccoed perimeter wall and a very picky HOA.  Alex and John navigated the whole project very professionally from start to finish.  They had already painted one house in the neighborhood and did a great job there.  I called several of their reference and they got great reviews from the references they gave.  I was impressed with their integrity both in terms of their approach to quality work, how they handled pricing (they are dong several houses within the neighborhood) and how they managed to stay fair with everyone while still accommodating people's specific requests.  They communicate well and are responsive.  They got to the job quickly and finished it quickly, there was no dragging out of the project any more than was required (they actually did a great job of working around the inclement weather that showed up in the middle of the job).  My only knock would be that sometimes the workers didn't quite get all of the instructions passed to the owners, but that actually brings me to the best part.  And i ahve to say here that I have used many contractors before, and on this item they are the best I've ever experienced.  When they are done and ask you to review and provide a correction/punch list, I've never seen a contractor approach it as positively and effectively as they did.  There was never one moment of push back or debate.. they just went through and addressed every single thing on the list, and they did it right on the spot.  They stayed at it until we were satisfied, and although we are not unreasonable, we are not the easiest customer to please.  I will say if you're looking for the lowest price and don't care about anything else, they may not be the best fit for you, and I think they'd probably agree.  However, if you are looking for a high-quality job that is done right, to your satisfaction at a reasonable, fair price, I'd highly recommend them as I found their work to be an excellent value.  (I'm actually having them paint our rental house next)

TIP:  If you check them out you'll find that their current ROC licence is relatively new, do not take that as a negative.  Ask either John or Alex about that and they will happily tell you the background here.  It checked out and it's actually a positive, but too long of a story to include in this review.

Had DBR come out and run some lines in my back yard, installed a new fan and replaced two existing fans. Work was completed in a day just in time for us to start decorating for our sons 1st birthday! Would

I had the wonderful experience of doing a 3 bathroom  remodel with Phoenix Home Remodel in the fall of 2019. The entire team was extremely professional, easy to communicate with, reasonably priced and fabulous to work with. From the initial meeting with Jeremy to the final walk through, they made the entire process easy and manageable. Loved the app to track the whole process, loved when Mark was able to explain my vision to plumbers, glass, tile and the many other trades that we were working with. If you are ready to remodel, give them a call.

Eric is a very hardworking and conscientious. I recommend his company for renovations and various other handyman work.

Marcus is the type of professional who takes pride in his work. He framed, tiled, and electrically wired the entire bathroom of our older Phoenix home, no easy task. For someone like me who has little to no experience remodeling- Marcus went through step by step the process and answered any questions we had. He's a great listener and definitely knowledgeable. When we even had a question after the job was complete, he came back immediately. Would trust him again with another project.

10:30 am We ordered two ceiling fans and a remote on Amazon thinking we would take advantage of their new Amazon Home Services Group. Our experience was horrible outside of Amazon's normal amazing delivery speed. The day of the installation we received a window of between 11am and 2pm. Kyle from I'm Gonna Fix It called and said they were wrapping up with another client and would be there around 3pm. A gentleman named Chris showed up at 4:30pm and started to work on installing our fans. He pulls me aside before he is done and says We can bill your second fan through Amazon, or if you can pay cash we will do it for 80.00 instead. Amazon charges us a 20% service fee so we can offer a cash discount.
We are so far behind schedule my wife has time to stop and grab the money on the way home from work. Right before he leaves he comes back and says Hey I don't have a screwdriver to put the batteries in the remote. He then leaves without testing it, so we had no idea if it would work. Needless to say, the remote won't sync with the system he installed so I call them up and ask them to fix it or remove the unit so we can send it back.
Chris comes out again, this time, he doesn't have a ladder, even though he needed one the first time, so we let him use ours. (What kind of a service comes without a screwdriver or a ladder?), tests the unit, then tells me Because the unit is defective we have to bill you 65.00 for the hour I was here, but not to worry Amazon will most likely cover the error because the unit was defective. So now they want Amazon to pay us back for their mistake.
His office calls to bill us and I ask them Why are we paying you to remove something that you didn't test on installation. If the tech actually tested the unit and didn't just leave, then we wouldn't be having a second service call. She says, Ok I'll call the owner and ask what we can do.
Less than five minutes later Chris shows back up at my house asking me, What's the problem, and that it was ok to bill us because we let him leave without testing it. It's not only extremely unprofessional to send a service tech back to your front door (not to mention the same one that didn't test the unit) to try and argue on behalf of the company, it borders on intimidation. I wouldn't agree that it was our fault that he didn't test the product he installed and I asked him to leave. The then promptly charged us the 65.00 for the hour.  I will never be using Amazon's Home Services again; I'll stick with hiring my Rosie on the House certified contractors.

2:00pm I added this in response to the owners comment.

I can tell you for us the service was nothing like 100% satisfied. It doesn't do me any good to yell at a technician coming to my house for being 2.5 hours late, it does let me know that maybe the company I am working with isn't 100% reliable. It doesn't do me any good when I tell the tech that I have a screwdriver available to put that batteries in, and he says it's fine and goes home. It wouldn't have done me any good this morning to send the man away because he showed up without a ladder when I had one he could use. It definitely didn't do any good to ask your company to make the service call right, because then I had a tech show back up at my house to blame me for his inability to put in batteries, and properly test something he installed.

The good news is there are companies out there that go above and beyond to make things right. Amazon refunded us your service fee of 65.00 and for the remote within the hour when we emailed them. Personally, I was shocked that they would cover a fee, that should have never been charged. It wasn't Amazon's fault we picked the wrong company off of the list to have come to our home. None of that mattered to Amazon, they made it right, and did it quickly, securing our continued business with them for a very long time.

As for offering to put in the new remote for free well I think you can see how we might not think of that as a plus. The last one cost us part of the initial 80.00 (fan installation), and an additional 65.00 (due to reasons listed above).

I appreciate the quick response to my review but fixing the issue when I called and spoke to your company would have been better. Instead, I talked to someone on the phone that said she would talk with the owner, had a technician show back up at my house to argue the point (which is not great service or professional), and then got a call three minutes later to pay because you felt it was due regardless.

Again I can't say enough good things about Amazon for erasing most of what turned out to be a horrible experience.

2:37pm Finally made it back in my bedroom tried to turn on the fan to take a nap and it doesn't even turn on manually now.

2:55 After a little investigation it seems the tech wired the fan to a different wall switch for the light and the fan, which he didn't do before. We are hiring another company to check the work.

Good work and fair price (got multiple quotes). There were some delays in completing the project but Juan kept in communication so it didn't bother me. He actually did a little extra free of charge because he felt bad.   Would use again.  For reference, the job included replacing a wood fence, Installing a new gate and replacing some siding.

Andrew and his crew did a great job replacing the windows in my condo!! He also gave me a very fair price, which ended up being almost half of what other companies quoted. I will definitely be using Green Home Services for future needs and will recommend to my friends.

I had a great experience all around, Doug was easy to get a hold of, scheduled an estimate and then scheduled repair within the week due to my scheduling needs, was flexible in scheduling and on time. Got everything done so fast and all the repairs look great! Reasonable pricing. Will be using Doug again moving forward.  So nice to work with contractors with integrity.
