Russ Handyman And Construction General Contractor
If you're looking for skilled, trustworthy, reliable professional who takes pride in his work, and goes the extra mile for his clients, you want Russ as your handyman.

The wall mounted a/c in our rental had been leaking behind the wall and some mold had started to grow before we realized. Russ came over - ON A SUNDAY - and proceeded to spend the rest of the day doing custom drywall patching, baseboard replacement, repainting the wall, waterproofing the area, and installing the new unit. It looks brand spankin' new. Russ did top notch work all day, on a weekend. Good luck finding that kind of service.

I was impressed, and brought him out for more work on a different property. He SAVED ME THOUSANDS of dollars in floor prep work that other handymen were trying to get me to do. Russ gave me honest, forthright feedback, rather than take the job and the quick money, because he cares for his clients and understands partnership. I'll be calling him again. And again. You probably should, too.

VETSBuilt Contracting General Contractor
It disappoints me I have to write this review. I wanted to hire this group because I'm remodeling the house that my dad (Vietnam vet) left to me. I know it would make him proud to have vets work on our house. I also saw the positive reviews and posted response times which made me even more excited.  Unfortunately, I have submitted their online form to get a quote (a week ago) AND I have called and left a voicemail (Saturday) but noone has contacted me.

Details Remodeling General Contractor
I hired Kent to do a full remodel of a small bathroom that I had been putting off for a couple of years. There was an extensive amount of work required. The walls needed to be repaired, a new shower needed to be built, and I had a picky set of requirements to make a lot of things work in a small space.

Kent was easy to work with throughout the bidding and contract process. He showed up on time every day and communicated extremely effectively throughout the process. His prices were fair.

What impressed me most about Kent was his ability to deal with the small things that inevitably pop up on every house project. The sink I installed needed a special kit to be hung and we had to do quite a bit of on-site problem solving to figure out a good shower configuration. Everything we came up with works great and I couldn't be happier. Can't recommend Details Remodeling enough.

Zona Restoration General Contractor
I am thoroughly impressed with Zona Restoration and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their reconstruction services. On the whole, I found their staff to be professional, friendly, and responsive. I was particularly impressed with Tim Simpson, their project manager for large-scale reconstruction jobs. Tim was patient with me and thorough in his explanations of what was and was not needed for my house, and he took time to understand my reservations and allay my fears. I found him to be incredibly knowledgeable, fair, and honest - which is refreshing to find in this line of work. It's been quite some time that I have been so impressed with a company, which is why I'm making it a point to write this review. For those of you reading this review, I hope you've found it to be helpful. Take care!

Handyman Connection of Phoenix General Contractor
I called four handy men ( none called me back) before finally going to Angie's list and calling their referral of Handyman Connection.
They were immediately responsive, cordial and professional on the phone immediately giving me an appointment the next day with Ken Kahrs
Thank Goodness! So grateful. Ken was on time professional, polite and friendly, and did a perfect
job. I would have given the company 5 stars, since everything was so good, especially Ken. He caulked the tub expertly. And cleaned up afterward.
But the original estimate was $150 just to remove old caulking and Re caulk. But Ken was able to do the job for the minimum cost of $95.
This is a reliable professional business. ( if you can afford it.) It can be obviously pretty pricey. I would like to have more work done by Ken but I am afraid of the cost. I am a retired social worker, a breast cancer survivor on social security. Life is good. But I have to watch my costs closely each month. Thanks to Ken for a great job. !

AZ Remodel Pros General Contractor
Not sure if our bathroom remodel qualifies as a large remodel, but was huge for us. We met with several contractors, and Brian was the first and only one that wanted to hear about what we wanted. Our remodel consisted of removing a stall shower and repurposing the space into an additional linen closet. Remove existing garden tub, and build in floor to ceiling shower with a bench and second shower head. Also replace dual sink counter tops in master and guest bath. The team was amazing, Izzy was always on top of getting what was needed throughout the build. Joey was incredible with his work ethic, although his punctuality left something to be desired, but overall worked out very well. Jose and his glass guys were incredible. AJ and the countertop guys did exactly what was asked for, and to a standard that was really amazing. And through all of it, Brian kept all the processes moving. He did it not only like it really mattered to him, but was as critical of the work as we were.  I would highly recommend AZ Remodel Pros to anyone, and will be using them again when we need home improvements that are beyond my abilities.

Ghosted. Had an appointment for 6/28 10A - 11A timeframe. Several confirmation texts sent and approved. No call. No reply to texts. It's not just horrible business practice, it's a horrible way to treat people. That says a lot about the company to me.

Modern Innovations General Contractor
Irving did a great job installing flooring in our laundry room and helping move the big appliances in there. It was quick and good quality work. He also assisted us with installing closet shelves and what not for two closets. Came out great again.

Dream Builder Renovation General Contractor
Being a first time home buyer it's easy to be scammed by contractors, electricians, roofers- you name it. I wanted to be sure I found someone who was honest, clear and good at what they do. I'm so glad I found that with Elvis and his wife Maisa. From day one they were straight with me on what needed to be done and what they can do within my budget whilst also being super chill people to talk to. They completely went above and beyond and made sure I was involved in the full process and aware of what was being done. I will absolutely be using them for all of my future projects and I definitely recommend trusting them with your renovations. Thank you so much Elvis and Maisa!

MB Exclusive General Contractor
Marcus is the type of professional who takes pride in his work. He framed, tiled, and electrically wired the entire bathroom of our older Phoenix home, no easy task. For someone like me who has little to no experience remodeling- Marcus went through step by step the process and answered any questions we had. He's a great listener and definitely knowledgeable. When we even had a question after the job was complete, he came back immediately. Would trust him again with another project.

Sunset Tile & Bath General Contractor
Finally, we bit the bullet and updated our bathrooms. Our old guest bathrooms had lower than normal cabinets, a cheap white countertop, a dated bathtub (with shower curtain (ewww)) , an eroding mirror and chrome and gold fixtures (yuck!). Our master bath had lower that normal cabinets, a cheap white countertop, and chrome and gold fixtures (again, yuck!).
We visited Sunset Tile & Bath. Mark, assisted us in the showroom with many of the decisions that had to be made. The man is very knowledgeable about the products and options for our new bath. And a real saint for his patience with our indecision! We hammered out the demolition and start date. Time for the next step. Let's do it! Thank you Mark! It didn't take long before our bathrooms were gone. They did leave an old sink so that we had water until the new ones went in. After demolition and measurements, we waited for our countertops and glass. After receiving the cabinets and countertops, the craftsmen went at it. They removed a large Jacuzzi tub and replaced the chrome and gold faucet with brushed nickel. Then the cabinets went in and were nicely trimmed to perfection. Next the beautiful new countertops, sink and brushed nickel faucets. Last, brand new shiny mirrors rounded out the renovation. The tub in the guest bathroom was replaced with a custom shower. The water valve was placed to the side so that guests don't get blasted with cold water. They also installed a really convenient shelf. Let me say this. Most of my life I have done most of my own work. I understand the work that was being done. These guys are experts with masonry, installation of countertops, cabinets, and plumbing. All new shut off valves, everything was new and updated from the wall out. This is a crew of real professionals! I would without hesitation recommend sunset bath and tile to anyone considering renovations. I am only sorry that we waited so long to enjoy our new bathrooms.

Gorilla Builders General Contractor
We contracted with them for a relatively simple home addition that was suppose to take 4-6 weeks. They stuck a huge sign in our yard, mostly advertising, saying they needed it for the building permits. We thought, all right, they will be starting on this soon. It has now been over six months. Without constant calls and reminders, they do nothing. Initially they said they had to wait for inspections, which sounded reasonable, but we realized the inspectors came out right after they were called. Gorilla was just using it as an excuse to take a month off. We've also had issues with theft by their subcontractors that they refused to take responsibility for.

The quality of their work is certainly adequate, but in the time it has taken for our one room addition, a four story office building has gone up around the corner.

Green Home Services General Contractor
Green Home extended our second floor into an unneeded high ceiling over the first floor giving us valuable additional closet space.  They took care of the drywall, painting, electrical, molding, and installing a new door.  They also handled the refinishing and re-staining of the wood floors on the 1st floor.  All in all, great work at a reasonable price.

Husbands 2 Go General Contractor
We had Doug come out to do a few jobs at our house before we put it on the market. First off, I want to say how  well he pays attention to details around the house. He's got a great eye for design and is extremely talented when it comes to precision cuts on floor moulding, wood work, tile work and painting. Additionally, he went above and beyond, adjusting door jams and tightening screws as he noticed them when doing work around the house. He hung a new door for us and it looks better than I could imagine. Because he did such a great job, we hired him to do another job and we were equally impressed. He is friendly, professional and a really hard working guy. We will use him again in the future!
