We've used Jaycox over the last 7 years to do a twice a year tune up, but our A/C which was 23 years old was failing.
Today we had a new Carrier A/C & furnace put in by Jaycox Air Conditioning and Heating.
The installers were polite, conscientious and very knowledgeable as they have been at all our tune ups. Because we bought a larger unit
our attic access needed to be larger so they increased the opening, cleaned up the mess and then put a nice trim around the edges to finish it off, looks great!
We highly recommend this company for all your air conditioning and furnace needs!

When my AC stopped working I contacted Jorge Flores to evaluate the problem of my 20 year old system. Fearing the worst, I knew it wasn't going to be pretty. Jorge was very honest and thorough and after going over my options I decided to get a new unit. We couldn't be happier with our decision. We got an excellent new Train unit and couldn't be happier. We were extremely pleased with the service that was provided to us by Jorge Flores and his crew. Extremely knowledgeable and professional service is what you get when you contact Jorge. Jorge and his crew were on time and followed covid guidelines. We were very impressed at how quick Jorge and his technicians came and changed our our entire system. Had a great experience with Northern air. They came and worked with me on a project converting a garage in to a work space. Jason was super communicative. Gave me good info on the best path to take. Cody came out to so the install, he was also great, ran in to some unexpected challenges but handled it like a pro. Jason followed up after the job was complete to remind me that if I have any issues to reach out and they would take good care of the work and any issues that arose. Perfect customer service and you can see that as it's reflected in the ratings! Big respect for running your biz the way you do! 10/10

Robert did an awesome job for a reasonable price. Good attitude, worked super hard, got it done in a timely fashion. Will definitely be using him again for anything we need hvac related. Recommend him highly. He replaced our air handler and condenser and relocated it all in one day.

My HVAC broke down end of August, Heat warning in effect and literally 2 hours after I called McMillin Air their technician Lalo had my A/C up and running again!!! I can't begin to tell you how impressed and grateful I am! They will have all of my future business. A million thanks is not enough.

I cannot recommend Hobaica.  We do not like-a Hobaica.  We had nothing but problems with them.  Our sales guy was terrible, he recommended and installed units that were too large for the space available so they did not get enough air flow and turned off due to overheating or broke down regularly.  It was 115 + the month it was installed.  It took 2 months before Hobaica finally broke down and rebuilt a new block wall near the untis to include ventilation to aid in cooling the units.  The ventilation was still not enough because over the next 6 years, we had one problem after the other.  And I am talking major problems-like blower motors going out (we are on the 3rd one in 6 years) condenser fan motor, RU capacitor, IFM, electronic control module, ignition control board... each fix was a very expensive fix but fortunately, during the first 5 years, it was all under warranty.  I complained on several occasions and requested a replacement unit for the one in particular that had more problems but was told NO.  This unit has had THOUSANDS of dollars of repairs on it in it's short 6 year life.  Now that it's out of warranty, those yearly problems will be coming out of OUR pocket and still, Hobaica refuses to acknowledge that it is a lemon unit and should have been replaced.  The other unit has issues as well, just not as many. Andy-one of the Hobaica sons who was out for the last maintenance was really mean to our dog (a tiny 6 lb. chihuahua) he yelled at her and chased her off.  He didn't wear his booties in the house and he got his filthy, greasy hands all over my counter top leaving black smudges all it-gross.  Come on, wash your hands or don't touch the customers furniture!  And back during the original install, they ruined the carpet below the attic entry by spilling something that would not wash up no matter how hard I tried and they ruined the carpet on our stairs by dripping I don't even know what all over them as they brought out the old units.    If ZERO stars was an option, that' is what I would have chosen.

My parents purchased a home and needed a new unit and new ductwork. LRG did a fantastic job. The pricing was fair and the work was completed fairly quickly. Very professional. LRG is the way to go!

Had received quotes to replace my A/C system in my home that was 20 years old. I contacted Comfort Experts and Ryan came out to the house to discuss and give me a quote on my system.  I was totally impressed by Ryan and what he was going to install that I hired him on a Friday and the install was set up for the following Tuesday at 7 am. That morning his team arrived on time and started to work at once. The guys were awesome..friendly and professional.  They explained everthing that they were doing and answered all my questions. They were neat and cleaned up above and beyond and their work was outstanding. I highly recommend this local company for their professional, friendly, and quality of work .

Our 3.5 ton builder-grade Carrier unit crapped out. I called around and talked to several companies. The differences in quotes was staggering. To say that most of them overcharge would be an understatement. Many of them are putting in lower quality units as well.

Fast forward to Danny at K&K. He uses Trane, which is like the Toyota of heating and cooling, meaning, it lasts a really long time. He was direct, great at communicating, and did exactly what he said he would. We liked his work and pricing so much that we ended up replacing our 5 ton unit with him as well.

Boy, did I get lucky!  My AC stopped working and by the time my normal installer/maintenance company checked it out and told me the condensor had died, I was into a second day w/o AC and the home was at 90 degrees.  Contacted a number of companies and Daniel Grimm from Reliance called and came out that PM.  We discussed a complete Trane system and I agreed to a new system to replace my 8 yo Goodman heat pump and AHU.    Reliance could not install the system for another 4 days and gave me a portable AC unit for my bedroom, which was a lifesaver.  Enrique and Jose' installed the system in 1 day and I could not be happier.  They cleaned up after their work and kept me informed during the install.  

A couple of weeks later, I felt that the zoning system (1 heat pump feeding 3 zones) was not functioning properly and called Daniel about it.  That afternoon Enrique and a helper came out and spent several hours checking out and fixing a damper that was not completely closing.  It is now working as good as ever.

Of the many HVAC service companies I have utilized in my homes across the US, this company is, by far the best.  No BS and they know their business especially working on Trane equipment.  You should be as lucky as I am by using them for your HVAC install/maintenance.

I used AccuTemp to install a new AC but it was also a good product Trane which they were able to get finance for us. They recommended to go 1/2 ton larger than required no bigger which makes it easier on the AC to run. They did an excellent job installing and only service 1 time in 25 years to replace a capacitor (200.00) and still running strong.  I see a lot of stories here but no mention what brand AC they have or installed.  The first tech that came out didn't find the problem thought it was the thermostat, when they didn't seem to work they sent another guy out and that tech was I have to admit didn't do a good job at first seem pre-occupied with personal stuff on the phone and left, I had to call the company and they call him back out that's when he got busy and found it was the capacitor and it's been working great ever since.  I don't believe in the seasonal maintenance stuff. Not broke leave it alone less hands messing around the better.

I would definitely recommend Day & Night. Their techs are hourly, not commission. They won't jerk you around trying to sell you a new motor or something else you don't need. The tech loves his job and the company and is very friendly and talks to you about your AC. Our tech was Alex and Shana answered the phone! They were both very friendly and professional!

Both of our AC units were on their last leg, house is about 20yrs old. I got quotes from 5 different companies, many of which were much larger, lots of the larger ones sent out dedicated sales people which was kind of a red flag for me that they need to charge higher prices for all of their extra employees. I'm really glad that I found DeModica Air, Jon Jon came out the day after I called him, explained all of my options, including patching my existing units which he said he could get them to last probably another 3 years. But he recommended replacement and we are glad we went with his recommendation. He had both units replaced, along with the air handlers in just 2 days. I highly recommend giving them a shot, at least invite them to give you a quote.

They are fabulous and so very knowledgeable.   Came out, gave me an estimate and we set a date and time.  I had to have a complete air/heating system put in.  They came out, did their job which was greater than it should have been but the one that had to be removed was not done as well as it could have been.  Apparently, because of that, they had more work to do.  Never had a complaint, just did what had to be done.  They are a full service company and they will be my go to for all my heating and plumbing needs.  They are as honest as the day is long and besides being very professional,they are very congenial.   I cannot say enough about this guys.  They are terrific.

Last month our a/c stopped working. We filed a claim with our home warranty company on a Saturday and I was so worried that we were going to be without a/c for several days. Being August, 8 months pregnant, and also having a 1 year old I was very concerned! My husband left a message on Sunday, and someone contacted him back letting him know they would be out early Monday. The communication was great and the tech who came had the part we needed on hand and fixed it right away. I was so thankful! Great customer service and no further problems, couldn't ask for better!

I was having a tough time finding someone to fix my Midea Air-handler, as it is not a common brand of A/C.  When I called 1800Plumber+Air, Ben answered the phone and listened to exactly what the issue was- he took down the model of my unit and actually talked through the repairs with his tech before sending him out.  The other companies I called (Goettl and George Brazil)just have an answering service and they do not relay any important info to their techs, thus having them show up only to say they could not fix it or find parts.  
Ben listened to my issues and the awful experiences i had at the other places and said he would take care of it for me and that the tech he was sending, Travis - was the best.  Travis showed up and quickly fixed my A/C (needed a new control board) and only charged me half of what the others said a new board would cost if they could find one to fit my unit.  I will never call anyone else again but these guys for plumbing and A/C!!!

First thing: If this actually gets to the main page for the business, I would suggest that if you're looking at this, you should check out the enormous number of non-recommended reviews (at the time of this writing, over 200) relative to the very small number of recommended reviews. I'm not sure why this is the case, but I should have noticed before. Also notice that some other businesses do not have this 1:20 ratio, where most reviews are censored out.

I have an older (14 yr old) A/C unit that has been running fine, but wanted to get a tune-up because I'm looking to rent out my home soon. The tech, Nick, was courteous, pretty fast, and explained things reasonably well if a little too salesmanlike for my taste. Nick did the inspection and let me know that my unit had 3 capacitors out of tolerance. Again, not totally unexpected given the age of the unit, and it's very likely the parts were original.

Now for the cons:

1. Price. The two extra capacitors that didn't come with the tune-up cost $139.78 and 155.24, respectively. From what I can tell, a capacitor should cost around $20. Now, I understand it's reasonable to expect to pay for the skill of the tech to install it and the time it takes to do so. However, in this case, the tech was already at my house and the install took like 10 minutes. If I were smarter, I would have declined and had someone else come out after shopping around. I am pretty sure I got burned. I would have felt fine paying $100 labor for 10 minutes, but the marking up of two simultaneously installed parts seems greedy on their part.

2. The upsell aspect. This is less important than the first, and I get that basically every business does this, but I don't like being blinded with science about some shady maintenance agreement.

I guess what was most disappointing to me was that in their ads, Precision specifically makes mention of how other companies' tune-ups are really not tune-ups because they don't include enough stuff, and then when you get done it's $400-600 before it's all through. Well, I went with them and it came to $478. I don't doubt that the work needed to be done, but 500+% markup on part installations when the tech was already here seems excessive. Live and learn.
