Best Painters in Phoenix, AZ

I was very happy with the work product and the final job performed. I would give this business 5 stars based on the quality of the painting work.  I was having my entire living/dining room ceiling painted and was nervous about paint getting on things but the painter did a fantastic job of covering everything and cleaning up. I had several doors that required maneuvering around preinstalled hardware and he did a great job with the detail. They were slightly more expensive than two other quotes I received but my experience dealing with the owner and office staff convinced me they were the right business to go with and I'm glad I did. The office staff was professional and fast to respond. The finished product looked great and the painter was polite and professional.

I took a star off for the following reasons:

1- The gentleman who came to paint my house seemed to have no idea what color paint he was to use on the ceiling. Part of my estimate was that they were providing paint. I was not very particular about an exact color just that it be something in the range of what was currently there. The owner indicated it would not be a problem to match something in the ballpark. I was painting the entire ceiling so it did not have to be an exact match just a color that was similar. The gentleman who came to paint kept insisting I tell him what color to paint the ceiling. It was frustrating as I clearly did not have a paint color name. I had to call the owner several times to call his staff. I almost sent them away before they started because it seemed so chaotic. Ultimately, the owner was very responsive and the final color looked very nice.

2- The gentleman who came to paint my house spoke vary limited English. This in itself is not an issue at all for me if he come prepared knowing exactly what he needed to paint and what color. But he was trying to ask me questions and get clarification on paint colors and we were having significant difficulty communicating. If the business is going to need clarification from the homeowner they should really send someone at the start of the job who can clearly communicate. It was super frustrating for both of us.

3- I had scheduled the appointment for 8 AM. The painting job was taking place in my entire kitchen and living room. My kitchen and living room had to be covered and was not usable during the paint job. The scheduled painter came in about 45 minutes early while I was trying to get my family ready for the day of school and work.  I am all about being on time but coming significantly early with no notice for something like this was actually an inconvenience.

4- lastly, the painter brought his four-year-old child to my house for the day. I love kids and have a four year old myself. The little boy was darling and sweet as can be. I really didn't have an issue with the child there.  I more just thought it was weird that a professional business that's licensed and bonded would send their workers to a job for 9 hours with children without notifying the homeowner in advance.

At the end of the day, the issues were minor and the final product and quality was well done!

The process from start to finish was 100% professional, and the results are gorgeous! I asked for an estimate to repaint the entire interior of my home.

Angel met me at my house, walked the floorplan and eagerly answered all of my many questions, putting my mind at ease. I received the estimate less than 24 hours later, and while
it was not the cheapest estimate I received for the job, I decided to move forward with Rising Phoenix because of the absolutely amazing customer service, promptness and respect I received from Angel.

He was able to get us on the schedule within the same week, and the crew was professional and SUPER QUICK (without any sacrifice to quality).

The house looks BRAND NEW, but Angel did a final walk with us to address any small touch ups needed just in case

I would 100% recommend this company - you will not be disappointed!!

Robo Painting did a great job on painting the exterior of my 2 story home. Robert was thorough and attentive during the entire process. His crew was on top of this from the start of spray washing to prepping, painting and cleaning up afterwards and putting window screens back on. Got many compliments from my neighbors. Very pleased of the outcome.

Alex's Painting was responsive and timely. They gave us the best quote by far out of nearly twenty bids. They did an excellent job painting our interior and were finished in one day. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I've already recommended this company to others and will definitely being using them for our next paint job. Don't hesitate and hire this company!

You can always count on Joe and his team of painters to get the job done right ! A Great eye for colors , and easy to work with and very professional. I have used Joe here in the Chicagoland suburbs and were very pleased with his work. We miss you back here , Joe !

Scott failed to appear for our scheduled in-person meeting.  We sent Scott an email and left him a voicemail to confirm our meeting/check on his status.  Scott never responded to our email or telephone call.

A few years ago, I first fell in love with Alex's work when I saw him paint my neighbors house. I immediately approached him to see if he could paint the exterior of mine as well, and he did, I was thrilled with the outcome! My home has a beautiful curb appeal. Fast forward to present day, I hired a company to paint the interior of my home and I asked them to simply paint the interior of my home wait it was going to take in four days for them to paint my home so I had to uproot my family and my dog for a hotel, upon my arrival home I noticed that they painted my walls BLUE!!! I was in shock and I had already given him $1700 of my money! I immediately found Alex's telephone number and he came to the rescue! Alex made sure on several occasions in one day to show me how to paint was going to look on the wall because I decided to go gray in color. He wanted to make sure that I was absolutely pleased with a choice and went over and beyond to make sure that I was happy with my choice. It took him two days to do my home, not 4!

He covered everything!  My furniture and all my paintings and all my collectibles were all safe and protected from any paint spray whatsoever.

My home right now because of Alex is absolutely gorgeous inside and out.

Do not become A victim by trying to save a dollar, like I did! As they say you pay for what you get and I got the shock of my life when I used another company when I should've gone to him to begin with!

There is no second-guessing here if you want a professional job whether it's outside your home or inside your home you can trust Alex 100%! My family and I are very glad that we did! We are also building a home in Sedona, and I already hired Alex to do that job and the house hasn't not even been started yet!!

5 stars for Alex! My house paint was in rough condition.  I needed a lot of work on trim and windows before painting could even start.  After 8 bids we chose Alex because his preparation process was far superior to the other companies.  His attention to detail and excellent communication is what makes his company shine.  I highly recommend Alex and we love our new paint!

Pretty poor in my opinion.  The estimator over promised.  He promised things like dry wall repairs and holes seemlessly caulked in that just didn't happen.  

Then you have the shoddy paint that was more of a satin when we emphasized that we wanted eggshell.  Not a fan of shiny walls but I guess we'll live with them for 15 years now.  

There were several sections that were not painted for some reason.  We called them back twice already to fix the errors we noticed but keep finding more now that we have moved in.  

They say that they remove all the backing plates to light switches and power outlets but they left several on.  You could clearly see the old paint color around the borders of the plates.  Some of the outlets they masked others they didn't and painted right over them leaving me to have to scrub the paint off of them so that I don't have a goofy looking two toned power outlet.  They didn't replace most of the plates leaving me to buy new ones because I can't find all the screws.

They tore up our stair rail.  For one, they didn't mask it well enough as we have little paint overspray in some sections that I will have to clean off but worse they scratched it in several places while (I assume) they were removing the masking.  It's horrendous.  They also damaged our brand new laminate flooring.  Probably dropped a sharp edge.

Lastly we are missing a few items from our house.   We have had several subcontracted work crews in and out of here for months and have not had a single thing gone missing.  The painters were the only crew in there for three days and lo and behold after that we were missing several things.  Small things but add up to a few hundred dollars. I obviously can't prove they took them but the coincidence is pretty strong.

I do not recommend this company.  Find someone else even if it costs more.

Family referral to use Cris and his team for painting my I kitchen cabinets. Very professional, prompt and efficient. The workmanship was impeccable. He helped me choose the exact color i was describing and it all looks perfect. Thank you. Very rare to find a contractor that meets your expectations on every level.

Highly recommend Frogstar Faux Finishing!   Annie is fabulous!  She listened very carefully to what I wanted and the look I was hoping to get on my large entryway columns.  Since I was not 100% sure she offered to do samples of a few looks so that we could discuss and I could make a decision.  I could not be happier with the finished product!   She and her assistant were excellent and made my columns look exactly like the marble ones you see in Italy.  LOVE THEM!  They are extremely talented artists.
Also, they have terrific, friendly, positive personalities so they are a joy to have around.  A plus was that each day they cleaned up the area and they love dogs so I did not have to worry about putting up my dog each day.
If you are looking to have custom painting done - definitely call Frogstar!

Rob checked off all the boxes for us as we were looking to paint 2 of our bedrooms. He provided us with a reasonable quote, quick turnaround for start and completion of job (about 1 week from quote to start, with the job taking less than a day), and was friendly/approachable and took time to explain everything to us as we worked through picking the right color.

He and his son arrived on time for the job and we couldn't be more pleased with the final product. Save yourself some time and start directly with Rob, you won't be disappointed!

Great painting company! Definitely would recommend to anyone who likes fast, efficient, reliable and affordable painting and drywall services! The owner Justin was very polite and very professional about his work! They did an amazing job repairing our drywall and painting our new home! We will be getting our exterior painted shortly by them as we are very pleased with the interior work completed!

Oh my god where do I begin!?! Terry and his team did such a great job. The entire team was so professional and kind. The communication was frequent and the price was great. When I started getting HOA letters stating I needed to paint my house, my siblings and parents told me to be prepared to shell out 3k for a good service to come out and do it. I paid under 2 grand to have my house completely painted all within 3 days time and with the most professional workers and just genuinely considerate people.
We have a young baby thAt takes a daily nap, the workers were kind enough to ask us what time she would be sleeping so that they would know when to be a bit more quiet. That is something that really meant a lot to me
The house looks great, the price was unbeatable, and the people were perfectionists. I will never use another paint service again.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mike and his crew.  You will not be disappointed in the job they do for you.   Professional, timely, outstanding paint job.  (I can't say enough about how refreshing it was to hire a painter that didn't skrimp on the paint, has excellent attention to detail, shows up when they say they are going to, gets the job done quick & comes back if there is a touch up that needs to be done).  They literally painted every aspect of our extensive renovation; Interior (ceiling, doors, trim, walls), entire exterior, garage interior.  They do it all.  Mike knows what he's talking about when it comes to paint; he's great at making suggestions and he's so pleasant.  He has a great team!
We called State 48 Paint when we spotted his truck in front of us on the road (not our normal MO for hiring but we took a chance - b/c to be quite honest, the paint job on his truck looks pretty bada--).  He immediately arranged an appointment with us and the rest is history.  They worked on the hottest day of the summer this year painting the exterior.  Outstanding men who work hard and deserve ALL the credit for making our home look beautiful.  (The pics don't convey the extent of the job they did - but trust me, I will always be calling State 48 Paint when I need another job done).  Thanks Mike!!!!

I definitely recommend using these guys. They were so patient with me through my color changes, and my schedule changes. And a shout out to Nacho for always communicating with me to make sure everything was done correctly!
