We called Roy to remove our dying pine tree.  He had the best quote and was able to get us schedule in the next week.   Hopefully we won't have to remove any more trees, but if we do I will definitely call Roy's Tree again!

Andres was very proactive initially.  He quickly responded to my request for a quote and then provided a reasonable quote based on photos I took.
Due to his quick response and his stated availability within a couple weeks, I went ahead and hired him for removal of trees. That is where the positive impressions ended.
He stated that he would be in the neighborhood the week before to see the trees and confirm the quote. This did not happen. I didn't really care as he had stated that my photos were good, but this should have been a flag.
At 3:30 p.m. on the day before he was scheduled to do the work, he stated that he was not going to make it because of two reasons. One: the potential for rain. Rain had been in the forecast for a week, yet this was the first time he mentioned it. BTW, it only sprinkled that day from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.; there was no precipitation afterwards. Two (the more likely reason): he had overcommitted himself. His solution? To delay my job for more than three weeks later after I had already waited for a couple weeks. After stated that was unacceptable, he suggested that perhaps he could make it earlier, but he wouldn't know until the last minute and would contact me if he could do it at this earlier date.  He did not contact me.
As a contractor myself, I abhor this lack of commitment and the last-minute notice. If you choose him, make sure that you have a back-up plan. Thankfully, I had received several quotes within the same price range and was able to get the work done within my desired time frame.

I am very disappointed in this company. Read great ratings on yelp and initially very responsive but after I approved getting the work done no one responded for two weeks. I sent an email saying I no longer needed their services and Patricia responded saying sorry for the delay, And that she was just waiting on an answer that she should have back to me later today. That was a week ago. Maybe this company was reliable at one point but clearly not anymore. Very disappointed.

I live in Tempe, so I like to get bids from companies in Tempe. And I got some bids from some other companies within ten miles.

Arbor Care had the lowest bid. And, Jerry, the guy that did the bidding, was open enough to mention some people I should get bids from.

It wasn't a really large job. But Esteban showed up on time with a large, and competent crew, and a bunch of really ugly trees and palms in the wrong places were completely gone in the blink of an eye. Which is great, because who wants to listen to chain saws all day?

They also did a nice job trimming up an old olive and an old acacia that hadn't been touched in years -- if ever,

My wife was really impressed with the job they did cleaning the pool. I'm not a swimmer, so that's her department.

After the monsoon, my tree in the front yard blew over.  JR and his team were here quickly and did a partial job.  The quote was verbal, so please ensure you get a written quote to remove any miscommunication on the services and cost.

Didn't need his services but was courteous and reply quickly I recommend if u need his services

We bought a non hedge Ficus from Moon Valley three years ago. It is truly flourishing but seemed to be growing at a bit of an angle. Moon Valley stepped up and sent crews to both trim the tree (to take some heft off )and a crew the next day to straighten the tree. Everyone at the Shop as well as both crews were totally professional. They showed up timely,  did great work and were gone in no time. I highly recommend Moon Valley!

Highly recommend using this company! Azael and his team removed a very large olive tree from my front yard. They were very professional and did a good job of cleaning up after. Will use again!

This company of professionals is absolutely professional and meticulous in their work.  I live in Terravita in north Scottsdale, famous for their strict rules about everything.  Ed and his crew were conscientious and thorough, but worked hard to accommodate everything I wanted to get accomplished to clean up the tree detritus and fire hazards in the area.  They are a delightful group of people who work hard and work well together.  I could not believe how reasonable their charges were.  A fair company in today's gouging market!

When we bought our house we had two very overgrown trees that needed trimming and AZ Desert Tree Care took care of them both. They did a fantastic job both times, got each job done in about two hours, and got us quotes within 24 hours. Their prices are great, and they are very thoughtful about how they trim trees. They are great at stabilizing trees at risk of falling, and shape trees to grow in ways that fit the property and surroundings. The owners are really nice too!

Requested a quote through Yelp on the Sunday before Christmas 2018. They immediately replied. We schedule a date after the holidays. They removed our tree and ground the stump 1 foot down. They did a fantastic job and I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them for tree removal services.

I reviewed Jose's service last April on YP because I didn't know it was on Yelp. I cannot recommend his service more highly than I am. He came out with his crew and trimmed my 40' Ficus , cleaned and trimmed the back and front yards immaculately. I should have taken a picture, because now it looks as bad as it did. I'm about to call him again. On time, professional, competitively priced, and the best yard work of 5 different people I've had in the last 11 years. The best!

A crew of nine tree pros descended on my home and tackled two very tall Australian bottle trees that should've been trimmed five years ago. The trees now look great and they cleaned up all the debris. The owner, Jon, was attentive and thorough, and his price was fair. Several of the crew were certified tree specialists and the owner had multiple certifications and professional association credentials.

Wow!  I was so impressed with the surgical precision that Hayward removed this 50 foot Sissoo tree from my backyard.  Three or four cuts removed by a crane to a crew that cut it into smaller pieces for the chipper.  Larger trunk pieces into a waiting trunk and then they stumped it down the ground.  Cleaned up nicely and were reasonably priced!  Thank you guys!

These guys are AWSOME! They were at 9:45 to take down two huge palms and were finished and cleaned up and gone by 11:30! They had to remove a few concrete edge stones in the front to get the crane truck in closer and even replaced the stones before they left. The whole crew was so nice and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend Hayward Tree Service for any tree related job you might have. Philip came by on Thursday, gave me an estimate which was the same as others I had gotten and was here today, the next day, to do the job. I will definitely call them if I ever need another tree removed.

Bryan and Alisha responded immediately to my inquiry on Yelp. Then showed up 30 minutes later on Friday night. They were friendly, professional and competitively priced. They arrived on time and did precisely what they said they would do. They removed two 75' Oak trees and ground down the stumps. I would absolutely recommend them for any job they say they can do. Thr arborist Paul that was assigned to give me a quote calls on Easter during dinner and wants to come over on Easter Monday. I told him my faith celebrates Easter and Easter Monday and to call back on Tuesday after the season is over. While speaking with him he was very snarky making a comment he's been to my place hundreds of times. If ge's been here hundreds if times, why does he need to come over to give me a quote? Normally after a couple times, I'm able to remember the beautiful trees I see. He never called back and Amanda who runs  the Customer Service Relations for the company tells me the quote would be taken care of. Nada a week later. I've moved on.
