In the grand scheme of why someone would require a locksmith, my problem was rather minor. I always try and use local and family owned businesses. Terry was quite to reply to my online request for a quote. Scheduling an appointment was a breeze. Terry fixed my lockout issue in like 60 seconds. Friendly and on time with scheduled appointment. I was skeptical about all the great Yelp reviews -- I mean really, we're talking about a locksmith here -- but it's all true!  I needed all my locks re-keyed so a single key could open front, garage, side, and back doors.  Jeff came out the same day -- arrived on time -- and delivered the goods at a very reasonable price.  

Even though one of the existing locks had a different length of key (6-pin vs 5-pin) he was able to key it the same as the others.

Great service, and probably cost the same or less than buying all new matching deadbolts at the hardware store, not to mention the time I would have spent installing them all.

Besides all of that, Jeff is a really nice guy and I enjoyed meeting him.  Definitely will call him again next time I need a locksmith.

Alon communicated with me immediately and kept me updated on his arrival time. Him and his partner arrived promptly on a Saturday and had my new Electronic car keys within 25 minutes. I would highly recommend.

Tom was very friendly and efficient. He answered a few specific questions I had over the phone, and we then made an appointment for a few days later. He arrived on time and quickly installed 3 new locks/handles, which we wanted for 'aesthetics' upgrades. Everything looks very nice!

We also used Tom about 6 years ago when we first put new locks on our house. So he is 2 for 2 on quality, service, and timeliness! His rates are very reasonable. Very happy customer. Thank you Tom!

Jay was wonderful to work with. He responded to my text immediately and was at my home within an hour to make new keys. Easy check out/payment experience with emailed receipt. Jay is a pro.

I sent several quotes and used Yelp for help with my truck and almost everyone that answered said my town was too far (even though they had my town as part of their area of service.  JJ answers my quote and although he was over 60 miles one way, he said he would come and help me.  He made several stops along the way for equipment and by the time he left, I was in my vehicle and keys made.  He was very professional and although I know he is in this business to make money, he did not flinch of driving 120 miles round trip to not only help someone, but he gained a future customer.  Thank you...

Tried to set up an appointment. He was responsive at first. Then stopped replying. Even offered him an extra $20 to come service next day. No answer.

LOVE this place!  

After taking my new Ford Explorer to the dealership to have the oil changed, a strange "My Key" feature started working on my car (which causes the car radio to turn off unless your seatbelt is on, and won't let the vehicle go over 80 mph - which stinks when you are trying to pass someone on the freeway).  I called the dealership to ask them how to get rid of this feature and they told me that I would need a second key (which we lost right after buying the vehicle) and new reprogramming, at a cost of around $200.00.  NO WAY was I paying $200! So I went on Amazon and found a new key blank for $20.00 (instead of $110 at the dealership) and then shopped around for a locksmith to cut and program it.  

The Lock Shop was by far the cheapest of all the people I called.  They charged around $5 to cut the key for me and about $50 to reprogram my original key and the new one.  So they programmed TWO keys and I got it all for about 1/3 the price the dealership quoted me.    

Taylor was very friendly and got the job done quickly.  I think I was there for a total of 30 minutes.  (The dealership told me it would take one hour to program - to justify their high cost, I guess.)

I will definitely be using The Lock Shop again - THANK YOU!!!

Couldn't have asked for more. Unfortunately my dad has lost his keys more times than one can count and this was the first locksmith that didn't try to take advantage of him once on site. Thank you.

Excellent service! Only lock smith company that answered the phone. Mordy helped us out and was awesome! Totally recommend.

Dean came as planned and completed tasked professionally and at the agreed about price. I would use Kwikkeys again for my locksmith needs.
