Mike answered his phone, made a time commitment and kept it. He knew his products and was in and out in short order.
Was he cheap? No. But not expensive, either. I post this info to respond to the other posters who complain about price. When you need a skilled service, and someone is going to COME TO YOUR HOME to provide that service, there will be a cost.
I thought the cost and service were very fair. I'd use Cactus Lock & Key again.

Victor is awesome. I called him on a weekend when he was closed, and he still took my call and he was at my house on that Monday. Excellent work, and fixed all my locks that needed repair. Very courteous and professional and I highly recommend him to anyone.

Professional, prompt, efficient, courteous, etc.  might be a bit on the expensive end....but you get what you pay for.

Eric was fantastic! I reached out to him last week and scheduled an appointment for the following week. His communication was great. He showed up on time and completed the job within 30 minutes. I needed two different vehicle keys. He programmed each of them and they both worked like a charm! His price was more than fair too. I would highly recommend him for any vehicle key replacement needs!

I had my luggage stolen in Houston with my truck keys in it.  Pager met me at the airport when I arrived home, got me into my truck and provided me with two new keys. My truck is a 2015 F-250 with a pretty advanced alarm system. Osher had no problems. Thank You!

I decided to call Jeff after seeing the reviews on yelp, and I must say-they are all well deserved.  He arrived on time, was very friendly and professional and made sure I was comfortable with the new set-up.  I even had him do a couple of last minute extra things, and he didn't even blink an eye.  Hiring a locksmith can be a little scary, and I was happy that I chose Jeff and his company.  I will be sure to call him again if I ever need a locksmith.  Thank you Jeff.

Highly recommend. I needed to have a lock set replaced on our security screen door because the locking mechanism broke. Alon was able to fit us in the schedule and within two hours replaced our dingy gold-looking set with a brand new brushed nickel set. In addition, he rekeyed the new set to our old one. Friendly, Fast and Professional.

Highly recommend this company! Tom was great! I needed new keys for 5 doors in my house. I called Tom in the morning and told him my situation.  He was at my house a few hours later.  He was very reasonable too! If you need a great locksmith, use Budget Lock and Key!  :)

Wow professional service to replicate a lost key on my 1997 ford ranger, was quick to deliver the key and very reasonable in price for being on a weekend. Great business and would totally recommend.

In reading other reviews of Alcatraz Locksmith, I see everyone has given them five stars..  My experience today was such that I won't change that.   Here's another five stars!  Todd arrived when he said he would and went to work.  He was more than willing to answer my questions and was quite agreeable about how he did it.  The answers were also couched in layman's terms that I could understand.   He is very efficient and doesn't waste time about what he is doing. I have to admit I was amazed to see all the equipment and supplies he carries in his work van.  He also works clean and doesn't leave a mess when he is done.

Todd also quoted me an approximate price for what he'd be doing for me.  I can't say I was thrilled but the job had to be done so what else could I do but  grin and bear it.  What really gave me a grin was when the cost was enough below the estimate to surprise me.  Then when I told him I had to use two different credit cards for business reasons, he was gracious about doing it that way.  This has not always been the case with service people.  With Todd, no problem.

Obviously I can suggest when you need work done on any of your locks, give Todd a call.

Called Julian this morning keys locked in car.  Set time for him to come over at 11:00.  He showed up right on time.  Job done quickly.

I needed a second key programmed for a used car I just bought. I was headed to the dealership until my mechanic recommended The Lock Shop. Saved a lot of money (they charge far less than the dealership)! They have a huge selection of keys but didn't have the right one for my car. But it's okay because they got it ordered in one day. Talked to two different people on the two different days I was there and both were super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly which are things that always make me want to come back and also to share my experience with others!

Little side note: for a few extra dollars, ask them to make a metal key for your car. It won't have a computer chip in it so it won't start your ignition, but it will unlock the door and if you ever need another key programmed, it'll save you money because it can be used to make one of those programmed keys. Seems like a good idea to have that on hand!

C. J. was able to fit me in and arrived within 1 1/2 hours of the call for help. We had a key stuck in the lock. He extracted the key and repaired the lock in about 25 minutes total. Thanks so much C. J. for your great service!

Ari is excellent technician spectacular job efficient and friendly. 5:45pm and he arrived in 20 minutes after I locked keys in van. Highly recommend

Dean came as planned and completed tasked professionally and at the agreed about price. I would use Kwikkeys again for my locksmith needs.
