Mike answered his phone, made a time commitment and kept it. He knew his products and was in and out in short order.
Was he cheap? No. But not expensive, either. I post this info to respond to the other posters who complain about price. When you need a skilled service, and someone is going to COME TO YOUR HOME to provide that service, there will be a cost.
I thought the cost and service were very fair. I'd use Cactus Lock & Key again.

Victor didn't do the automotive request but was quick to respond and offered a referral to me for someone that may be able to help with my request.

You know that scene in Duplicity where Michael Keaton is explaining that a copy of a copy is just a little off? Well it's true. I needed to make a copy of my key, but I only had a copy of a copy of a copy. Not knowing of any locksmiths in my area I came across Pop-A-Lock on Yelp. Bill, the owner, answered my call and came out within the hour to rekey my house. He did a great job and didn't leave a mess. I give Pop-A-Lock an A+++.

Eric is responsive and knowledgeable. He wanted to make sure the programming of the fob worked before he cut the key. Then he made sure the key was cut correctly. He took his time to make sure everything was working.
I recommend him.

Levi is "the man" - he is prompt, courteous, professional detail-oriented, thorough, and expert in his craft. I have a large executive home in N Scottsdale, tenants ended their lease and I needed a re-key on 7 doors - he scheduled me first thing next day - took care of business efficiently and economically: all while I was nowhere near the scene.  I think what makes him stand above other well-qualified tradesmen is his superior ability with communication.  He handles complex directions very well, makes contact with remote parties to get the work done and coordinates timing and logistics, so very well. Makes a tricky job virtually effortless for the client and with his positive and upbeat persona, turns an otherwise nuisance chore into a pleasant and positive experience for the client.

Great work, super fast response time and great pricing would use him again for sure no problems.

I am so impressed by these guys.  Really nice and friendly despite my particular key being quite complex and working in boiling hot condition.  llan was so persistent at making sure everything worked correctly! I can recommend them more highly.  Oh and really great price too!

Got locked out of a house and needed someone to get us back in. A1 showed up just a few minutes after we called, and got the job done quickly. The guy who came out was very nice and very professional.

I sent several quotes and used Yelp for help with my truck and almost everyone that answered said my town was too far (even though they had my town as part of their area of service.  JJ answers my quote and although he was over 60 miles one way, he said he would come and help me.  He made several stops along the way for equipment and by the time he left, I was in my vehicle and keys made.  He was very professional and although I know he is in this business to make money, he did not flinch of driving 120 miles round trip to not only help someone, but he gained a future customer.  Thank you...

Todd was outstanding and very understanding of my situation.  Someone stole the keys to my Lexus and that same day Todd was able to re-key and reprogram my entire car.  He was professional, kind, and extremely knowledgeable.  I highly recommend him for any vehicle related locksmith needs.

Our key broke off in our front door late one evening. Julian was very responsive and was able to make it to our house in about half an hour! He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us fix other issues we had going on with our door as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a great locksmith!

We had an urgent need to change locks on our rental. Tenant left with the key, which made it worse. CJ came within an hour, changed 5 locks, and completed everything quickly for a very reasonable price! He was prompt in responding to my request for a quote too.

My wife and I have been living in Sun City for exactly a year now. When we purchased our house the locks and locksets were really messed up - The "flippers" who refurbished our home apparently didn't want to spend much time or money on proper, high quality, high security locks. We needed to have the house re-keyed anyway just for security concerns as there's no telling who might have duplicate keys out there. Anyway, we called Ace Locksmith because they are local, and we prefer to deal with local people when we do something like this (locks, pest control, alarms, etc.). Our locksmith tech Bo, a very nice young man, arrived promptly, took a look at what we needed, and then went right to work. He already had everything he needed in his truck and was finished within the hour. We now have a house that has better locks that work better. Thank you Bo for your fast and courteous service. You have given us both peace of mind!
