Best Solar Panels in Phoenix, AZ
They were able to come out the same day to get a light working and install an outlet on our patio. I had called all over for someone to be able to come that day and had been striking out left and right. They were very professional and quick to get the repair done.

I finally decided to start with "the man in the mirror" by adding solar panels, an energy hub and a level 2 EV charger to our newly purchased home. After reading MANY on-line reviews, we selected Sunny Energy for the project. The folks at Sunny Energy were great to work with from the initial design proposal, scheduling, payment and the final walk-through. We had no issues whatsoever even though we purposely delayed installation about two months to accommodate a trip out of the country. Thus far, about a week into production, the solar array is putting out almost exactly what we were told to expect, which more than off-sets our energy use. We are hoping to make further cuts in our overall energy bill by charging a plug-in hybrid during peak solar output using our level 2 EV charger. I highly recommend going solar and highly recommend purchasing your system from Sunny Energy.

iThe salesman was pleasant and polite. The estimate that came from a different person at Caliber amounted to eight to ten times what the estimate was from two different companies for the same work. So I will go with a different company.

Knew nothing about solar and called several companies to get quotes and information. Found first of all you are calling anywhere in country and they sub things out and not getting a local company. Then when asked for breakdown of cost won't do. Found Aneva Solar to be honest straight forward and willing to help and answer anything you needed. By far the best company around and LOCAL here in Phoenix. Have not actually got system in yet, but thus far impressed with owner Anthony,Brian, and Scott. Have made several trips to site explaining everything and doing the leg work. Use the best equipment around and no short cuts. Will add to review once system in plan on doing in Aug.

I needed some new recessed lights installed in a bonus room and bought all the supplies thinking I would do it myself. Ultimately, I decided to find an electrician and messaged several on Yelp. Firefly responded quickly and set up an appointment for the next day. They showed up on time, knew exactly what to do, and quoted a fair price for labor. 2 hours later they had finished the entire job and the lights looked great!
The only thing they could have done better is used a shop vac while cutting holes in the drywall to minimize dust. They did cover everything with plastic to protect furniture, rugs, etc., but drywall dust still gets everywhere and some cleanup was required. I would still recommend them and will use them again when I need electrical work done

Like most people I did my research when looking into a Solar company for my home. I spoke with three companies and received three quotes. Black Platinum was the only company that didn't have a salesperson come to my house and give a full presentation. Our initial conversations were handled over the phone or through email. This is a father and son company (John and John) and they both have a background in home construction. This is relevant because Black Platinum was the only company I spoke with that didn't use any subcontractors to do their work. They do it all themselves. They were also the only company that installed all the electric cables into the attic and through the walls. This means no conduit running all over the roof and down the sides of the house. There are also significantly less boxes and equipment mounted on the side of my house. It all looks super clean as if the house was originally built that way.
When I initially spoke with John Senior, he explained to me that he is constantly purchasing the latest products because solar technology is moving so fast. He was very familiar with the different products available and it was obvious to me that he knew what he was talking about. I researched every piece of equipment they put on my house. I was very happy to learn that the panels and inverters they are using were listed in the top three of every recent comparison list I could find. There is a lot of debate online regarding central inverters vs mini inverters. If you do your own research, make sure you are reading recent articles because so much has changed in the last couple years. However, I am confident that the latest mini inverters are safer, more efficient and cheaper to repair if you should ever have a problem. Black Platinum also installs "Pigeon Stop" under every panel to keeps the birds from nesting under them. I didn't think much about the pigeon stop when they first mentioned it, but the stuff is legit. It's solid black metal mesh mounted under every panel and will easily last the lifetime of my system.
John (the son) is a super nice guy and runs the operation. He was very responsive throughout the entire process and supervised everything during installation. He even answered calls, emails and text messages on weekends and after hours. It's also worth mentioning that both Johns seem to have really good contacts with the city and the power companies. This helped when navigating the complexities of two organizations (the city and the power company) who don't really have your best interests in mind. John took care of everything and had the cell numbers of the people needed to ensure permits and inspections went smoothly. When the installation was complete, he even used a drone to take some overhead pictures of finished project.
Black Platinum's entire team was professional and friendly and I can't say enough good things about them. The bottom line is that these guys did everything the way I would have done it myself and I felt like their only concern was my satisfaction.

From the start Michelle asked the right questions and from those questions came up with an estimate to not only meet our needs but made suggestions to improve our systems. No high pressuring, no badgering and only honest quotes with no hidden costs. The project manager Dannielle was on top of the project from day 1 and if needed was quickly on the phone with me if something was not going as schedule. She coordinated with all of the contractors and keep me in the loop as the solar system was being installed. I would highly recommend Rooftop Solar to anyone and have recommended them to all of my neighbors. 7 months later I contacted Michelle for some questions and she responded immediately with answer to my concerns.

This company, actually Mr. Sunshine himself, provided a truthful, clear, and concise explanation of the process and outcome of going solar. No pressure, I called back 5 times and did not pull the trigger for over two weeks. During that time I never got a pressure call back. The quality information sells the product by its self.

I have an antifreeze (closed) solar water heater that was having some issues. General solar came out and resolved my issue quicker and easier than I expected. Turns out all I needed was a system recharge. Perhaps best of all, the cost was very reasonable.
They did a good job of checking thoroughly for other possible issues, but also didn't make me feel like they were trying to push any unnecessary repairs on me. They were attentive to making sure the job was done right. Customer service was great and they explained in great detail what was going on, and were friendly but professional and knowledgeable. Considering that my biggest complaint was that they were about 15 minutes late, it was a great visit.

Have worked with these guys to get solar for my home. Very professional and very knowledgeable. They also gave me a lower price than the other company that came and showed me what they had. They gave me a low 2.99 interest rate on my solar. I will recommend them to any and all my friends and family.

This was an important decision. I did my research, compared companies, compared their service, their panels, their reviews, their long term stability. I guess I need to start with the fact that I am an Elon Musk fan boy, but didn't go with his company. He wouldn't mind, I'm sure of it. I had spreadsheets, literature, and a makeshift algorithm for reviewing all of the data.
It came down to two things: price per KWH and panel quality. The price per KWH was a tie with another company I checked out, and less than the third. However, the panels Harmon was going to put on my roof were a higher quality, more efficient panel which meant the system could generate more power than both of the others using the same number of panels. I liked that. Plus, the panels are made in the USA and by Sun Power, a large and reputable manufacturer. After a couple of months of this, I went with Harmon.
When I was talking with them, they assured me that they go through all of the necessary processes with the town, the HOA, and everyone else. They did not lie. They made sure they got all of the necessary permits, inspections, and HOA approval. My HOA was slow to get back to them, but their followup was second to none. The installation went off without a hitch. Their installers were professional and courteous and did an amazing job. The system has to be hooked into your wifi so it can be monitored remotely. They brought the wire into my house near where my router was set up. A few months later, I switched cable providers and moved the router. They came back in, installed a device that send wifi through my power outlets, and moved their hardware... at no charge to me. I like these guys. I still get an email every now and then from the sales guy who got me set up.
The system has been running for almost a year now, and I saved $600 on my energy bill this year. That is 30% over last year. I couldn't be happier.
One cautionary tale with the solar lease that does not reflect AT ALL on Harmon, it is possible with any company you choose. When someone buys your house, they have to assume the lease. They also need to qualify as if it were a loan, because, basically, it is. Be aware that a sale of your house might fall through because the buyer is unable to qualify for the solar lease. However, it is so inexpensive that if a buyer can't qualify, they are more than likely not going to make it to closing at the cost of your house. This happened to us a couple of months ago. In the end, this is the best purchase for my house I could have made. Everyone should have solar panels in this state. I whole heartedly recommend Harmon Solar

It was great to deal with a company that really know how to take care of their customers. I didn't know weather I should buy or lease my system. After asking a million questions Arizona Energy Pro's really made me feel confident that buying my system was the way to go. The install went really quickly. Much faster than they had even promised. The girls in the office were always so friendly and happy to answer any and all of my many questions. I just go my first bill with the solar system installed and it was $35. I don't have record of what my electric bills should be because I just bight this house but I spoke with APS and they said that the average bill form the previous owners was $245 a month. I am very happy with the results and would recommend this company to anyone. Also as a side note one of the reasons I chose to go with this company is because they are a local family owned company.

Matt fixed my photo sensor. He is fantastic! It quit working a few months later. Called Matt and told him we did not think it was the bulbs. He came out promptly and fixed it. It was the bulbs! Felt bad and called to pay him, but he was very nice and would not let us. I will definitely call him next time and tell our family and friends. Very polite and nice!

Titan Solar crew # 14 with Carl Price did a Amazing job. They took the time to answer all my questions and were very professional and left no mess. Carl tested the system which showed the power meter was running backwards which is awesome to see and explained that it also came with a monitoring system so I can view my production and savings from going Solar. Now I wait for the city and APS to approve so we can turn it on.

Disappointing experience with Solar City!!!
They don't deserve a star!!!
BEWARE!!!!
I wish I read the reviews here prior to signing the loan to purchase my 48 panels.
I had my initial consultation with the Sales Rep Charlie Rickets in Nov 2016 and was promised for a Jan installation. They finally installed the panels 6 months delayed in 06/01/2017 (19 broken roof tiles)
I received a call this morning from Solar City concierge Erica that they have to resubmit my permit which could take up to 2 weeks. On top of that I will have to wait another 2-4 weeks for APS to inspect and turn the power on. We are on 3 digit heat and I'm sure my APS bill will be higher and I'm starting to pay the loan.
I tried to call my Sales Rep to no avail (voicemail is full)
I should have used SunRun via Costco and might have a better experience.
UPDATE:
As mentioned my initial consultation with Charlie Rickets was 10/26/2016
Panels installed 06/01/2017
Permit approved on 7/17/17 (breaker)
Permit approved on 7/20/17 (inverter) after 3 corrections
APS 7/28/17-8/17/17
I received an email dated 6/27/17 from the Regional Sale Manager Brent Lewis and replied to his email and finally received a phone call on 7/6/17. (The only phone call with a promise to get back to me with status update)
Still very disappointed because by the time I finally generate solar energy, it's summer time. If they installed my panels in January like promised by the useless consultant Charlie Rickets then I would have generated and accrued enough solar power to pay for the summer months.
In short I'm hit with 2 payments until the temperature goes down and we don't use the AC anymore.
Also, just an FYI, the so called rebate that was offered will not be available until 45 (I think) days after you are connected to APS. Figures!!
Solar City/Tesla never failed to disappoint me.
