Best Solar Panels in Phoenix, AZ
I was referred to this company by a neighbor and found the sales representative, Jose Flores, and process easy to understand and come to quick resolution. I am very pleased with my choice and the installation was quick and accurate to the plans presented. I absolutely endorse this company for solar electric services. Jim C.

We were introduced to Jake and Caliber from our general contractor. We had a project that lasted several weeks. We had a few hiccups along the way which included some inferior product which was concerning at the time. Jake ordered new product at his cost to make sure we were satisfied. He also painted our new ceiling free of charge. We will use him again for any other roofing projects that we have. His project manager Matt was easily accessible and we felt like they really went out of their way to make sure we were happy. I read a review from another person that said they had problems in the middle. We also had some issues midstream but as I mentioned, Jake and Matt came by personally to address all concerns and made necessary changes at Calibers cost. The finished product is what counts and we are completely happy and look forward to spending a lot of time under our new covered patio.

Let me start by saying I have been in sales myself for over 35 years, the last 20 in the financial markets. So I did my due diligence and spoke with and met several solar companies. When I met Anthony the owner at Aneva I knew I found the right company. He's very honest and not high pressure like so many of the other companies. The rest of the office is exceptional as well. I truly believe this is the best solar company in the entire valley. I have not had my system installed yet and i will update my review once it's installed in approximately 60 days.( Waiting on APS and city of Peoria) All the companies told me about the same time frame.
Do yourself a favor and talk with at least 3-5 solar companies and than call Aneva. I GUARANTEE YOU WILL CHOOSE ANEVA! If you don't you will have sold yourself short. In my case I had talked with well over 5 and found they were all high pressure. You can save yourself time after getting educated with one or two presentations and proposals at home by calling and talking to the companies on the phone to get their proposals. You will get a real good feel for the companies and than call Aneva. Just don't commit to anyone before calling Aneva. I actually had signed a contract with the first company that came out because the salesman said he would give me 10 days to cancel as opposed to the 3 days by law. I told him I was going to be be doing my due diligence and I asked him if he would give me a better price. He said he couldn't and that I was getting their best offer. When I called in to cancel I ended up speaking with one of the owners who suddenly lowered their price by $5,000. Yes you heard that right. At this point I did not care if what price they quoted me. That was very shady and it became an integrity issue with me. By the way this company was still priced higher than Aneva with cheaper panels and an inferior warranty. If I had not educated myself and had the background of being in sales for 35 years I would have fallen prey to this first companies nice presentation and the likability of the sales rep. I mention all of this so that you don't get fooled. If you trust me just save yourself time and call Aneva and be done with it. But if you want to experience what I did and feel really good about your decision, call Aneva last after all your other proposals and you will want to thank me.
I was quoted higher prices with cheaper panels and many of those companies don't even employ their installers, they sub it out. At Aneva everyone is an employee and Anthony the owner will be overseeing the crew that installs your job. The way Anthony explained to me how the install will take place was phenomenal. It will be very clean without all those conduit lines running across my roof like you see with other companies workmanship.(Start looking at other solar jobs and you will see what I mean)
Most of the sales people in this industry know very little and work on commission and will tell you anything to get the job done, and once you commit to them, you are just a number and they are onto the next potential client. Trust me i spoke with so many of these guys and when I told them I was looking elsewhere, they got very rude and tried to make me feel stupid or use scare tactics. You won't get any of that with Aneva.
I was quoted with top of the line LG industry leading panels, at a lower price than most of these companies with lower rated panels and workmanship. I could have gotten these lower priced panels with Aneva for even less than what these other companies were offering, but I went for the higher quality, and again I am saving money with the LG's over the other cheaper brands I was quoted. In doing my homework, I found Aneva and was influenced by the other reviews I read. I am so happy I met Anthony and had him come out. You won't feel any pressure, just peace and confidence that you have finally met your solar company.
I don't know any other way to say this without sounding rude or insensitive, but if you're in the market for solar and don't at least call Aneva, you're being VERY foolish.

We had a few items as we were selling our house that needed addressed. Sherman was very professional, funny, honest and hard working. He knew his stuff and was very helpful in answering my questions and fixed all our issues. Highly recommend.

Excellant people from the 1st consult all the way to the installation. Very professional yet personable. We had both a solar tube and a roof fan installed. Both were complicated, yet expertly installed. LOVE the bright bathroom!!!

My wife and I had been looking at putting solar on our west valley home since we purchased it in 2017. We are seasonal residents who will likely move here full time in the future. In early 2018 I began looking at companies to take on our project. We had proposals for 5 kw to 12 kw systems. We had proposals from 4 different companies but never felt right about any of them.
December 30, 2018 I started researching other companies since we wanted to get this project done this year. I ran across Black Platinum Solar on the internet and started digging in deeper to learn more. They had very good reviews but I am always skeptical about what I read. My first contact with the company was Jan 2 via email. I got a very quick reply - good sign. I learned they are a smaller firm; family owned and operated. I had several email exchanges and then phone conversations. I learned what products they use and why. My main phone contact was John. He spent a significant amount of time explaining what they do and why. He encouraged as many questions as I could think of on our first call. At that time I told him I needed to digest the data he provided and we would talk again the next day.
We did talk the next day and for the next couple of days with John patiently answering all my questions while asking me more to learn about what we were looking for in a system. We discussed my interest in having someone look at our roof for suitability of the coating on our flat roof. John sent one of his sub contractors who specializes in roofing to look it over. The roof was ok but he offered some suggestions and options I really liked and we added a coating for the roof to the project.
We were also interested in adding a pool heater for our pool. Again John had a source for us. We received a proposal and decided to add that as well. The proposal was less than one we had received in December and the proposed equipment was first class. Needless to say we added that to the project. After discussing our complete project in detail we settled on a 13.2 kw system. John and his team prepared the proposal Jan 8 which we read over and signed that day.
John and the team got to work obtaining all permits and working with the various regulatory bodies. They coordinated all the work - roofing, pool heater and solar installation. They have the process down extremely well. After a bit of rain, the project kicked off in earnest Jan 14. The roofing company worked side by side with the Black Platinum team getting the roof ready and the mounts installed. Permits were obtained, hardware installed, systems connected and inspections completed. Our project was commissioned Jan 28 and we began producing energy at 1:30 pm that day.
All the people at Black Platinum were great to work with. Our thanks to John, Toni, Johnny, Joann, Dan and the rest of the crew. This was one of the best and easiest projects I have ever been involved for residential or commercial.
For those who read this far, I can only say from our experience, it would be hard to go wrong using Black Platinum Solar. I would be happy to converse privately with anyone interested in learning more about our project.

Recently had our solar installed by Rooftop and even though we are STILL waiting for APS to come and commision the system, we could not be more thrilled with the Rooftop Solar team. From estimators to project managers Adam, Vanessa, Brian, Daniel and Julia to the EXCELLENT, efficient, polite and obsessively neat installation crew lead by Sergio, everyone was focussed on a properly designed, installed, effective and efficient system, not just a 'cash grab'. I can't recommend Rooftop Solar highly enough! If you're looking for solar done right, these are your guys and gals!!

I live in Hawaii and reached out to Mr. Sunshine 4000 miles away to review two very large solar project for one of my client's. Michael immediately addressed my concerns, provided me the same day a complete detailed breakdown of each project.
Michael's kind heart, support without judgement, compassion for others is paramount, not to mention Michael took the time to go step by step with me, answering additional questions I continued to send to him. Michael worked with me until I had a complete understanding of each and every step to a solar system with associated cost breakdowns of which I did not have and were unable to obtain on the Island's.
I am beyond grateful, I took the time to contact Mr. Sunshine. When my client's begin to consider solar projects moving forward, I will always be sure to request an overview by Michael regardless that I am 4000 miles away.

General Solar just installed a new solar water heater. They did an outstanding job! When I called Kent, he was out of town, but still answered his phone. He said he would call me back as soon as he retuned. He called me and came out the very next day and replaced my broken heater.
That's what I call Customer Service. He was prompt , courteous, and a great job!
His pricing was right on.
If you need any solar work done, call Kent at Solar General! You won't regret it!

I moved in to SUn city after getting a divorce as a senior and wanted to put solar on the roof. I met Cary after speaking to several salesman and decided that Cary had the best price for me. The work was done. A year ago I contacted Cary and got some extra work done installing a mini split that helped even more. I would recommend galaxy solar to anybody because of the professionalism and care.

I obtained r installation from Harmon and signed a lease with SunRun. I would recommend both of those companies. They are efficient and courteous. Harmon installed solar on two of my homes. The second home was with SunPower leasing.
HOWEVER, the facts are somewhat different than represented by the Harmon salesperson. My average cost before solar was $175 per month. My lease is $135 with my first home. I was told that I would save $40 per month initially and more later as APS fees increased. In fact, I found that APS still charges ne $20 per month service fee. They also will PAY ME $03 per KWH for any accumulated excess power I transferred to them by the 1st of each year. They will also CHARGE ME about September 1st of each year the amount of power I used in excess of what my solar equipment produced since the first of the year. That charge is $0.14 per KWH.
In total I will pay about the same as I did before I installed solar, Remember, APS will still receive a fee of about $40 per month average which negates my initial savings.
In the long run it will save me a little money. My second home is just finishing now.
Call APS for clear understanding of all the fees involved. They also have a good analysis on their website.

I am very happy with the whole crew at Arizona Energy Pro's. I am living in Denver and this is my Rental home.
I started this project in June of this year and my solar is hooked up.
Everybody from Lee to Yollie with updates has made this a easy journey. I wish all things could work that Way...
I have not received my first bill, looking forward to seeing the beneifits... APS has been more commentating then EXEL Energy. I am still waiting.
Long story short...Very Happy and would recommend them....Oh by the way they Lee was the only one who called me back and put forth the effort to make this work for me....

It is not every day you get someone who tells you you don't need to spend thousands of dollars! My husband and I are purchasing a new home and were told by our inspector that our Bus Bar on the electrical panel possibly needs to be replaced. We sent the inspection report to three electricians to get quotes. Matthew responded within hours telling us that our Bus Bar was fine and in fact, was copper which tends to discolor but is actually higher quality. The other two electricians came back with bids around $2500! We had a separate inspector go back to the property and he confirmed that Matthew was correct. We may not need him this time but I know for sure who I am going to the next time we need an electrician!

Looked at a few companies to get quotes for solar installation. It's a tough market these days, with all of the power companies turning the tables on solar power. We've got aps, and at the moment things are still in our favor.
When none of the companies but Arizona solar solutions would consider the job because of market conditions (and maybe rightly so, that remains to be seen), we jumped on the quotes they provided and quicker than a blink they had the panels installed and aps approved. We were expecting months of waiting - instead we went from contract to kilowatts in about a month, hoa approval, city approval, and aps approval included. Just waiting on router connection now so we can watch the power roll out.
We're not expecting miracles, but we were promised a little more than 100% of our yearly power needs and I think it can be done. We've gone through and made sure we're as efficient as possible prior to connection, and I've got NREL predictive production charts (pvwatts) for our specific setup, so we'll see how we do.
I'll post back up regularly to see how things are stacking up.
Only complaint - customer service seems to be almost entirely automated, so the process felt very much like dealing with a phone recording - all our email updates were automated, sometimes to the point of not including specific times or dates of expected steps (like blanks were left unfilled), but when I needed to speak to customer service, there was always someone there on the other end of the line, presumably right here in Phoenix. Maybe that's how they keep so streamlined to get things set up efficiently, but it felt very sterile - not a friendly neighbor-like business which they seem to be on outside appearance.

I started the process for getting Solar back in September 2020. It's now almost May 2021. I have panels on the roof, but an inverter that has never worked, still waiting on a replacement.
I'm not a picky customer and I understand that unforeseen obstacles can change timelines. But I have the worst buyer's remorse ever. I'm aware that Titan is the installer and not the seller, but I hold Titan accountable because everything that is wrong is due to the installation.
Communication is horrible. If I didn't call every week, I doubt anything would be complete. They are quick to blame my local electric company (SSVEC), but my electric company has provided me honest and continuous updates since the process started. It has been over six months now and I'm paying two bills, one to the electric company and one to Loanpal for the solar.
I've also paid my tax credit that I already received. Who would have thought that the IRS would be faster than the solar installation?
I'm shopping around for a lawyer so I can get out of this mess. I don't even use enough electricity to make it worth the investment.
Whatever you do, make sure you do your research on the seller and installer for your home solar. Don't be in a hurry to get your tax credit, because that is the urgency they will press on you. And that tax credit is not anywhere near what the seller quoted, it came to about half that.

My one piece of advice to anyone reading this review is go to another company. I was recovering from surgery and didn't do my research and now realize it was a big mistake. Our initial meeting with the sales person in May went well and after that it went downhill. The office staff is clueless and doesn't know what's going on and our sales person has authorization to do nothing. Will now not get installation till August a month later than we were told, then need to wait another five weeks for APS approval. Not at all what we were told. Let's hope their installation is better than the rest of their business.
