I called Pink after checking Yelp when I discovered water flowing out of my garbage disposal under the sink.  I'd never heard of Pink, but the reviews made me call.  I'm glad I did - even though I spent way more than I expected, but.more on that later.

Omar called to let me know they were available earlier than expected, which was great.  When Omar and Brandon (apologies if I got the name wrong) arrived, they were friendly, personable and professional.  They took a look and knew right away that we needed a new garbage disposal.  I was not surprised.  

They got to work on replacing it and when they noticed the stiffness of our faucet, they said they could replace that as well since they had one in the truck.  Great!  They didn't pressure me or anything, but simply offered to fix that too.  Since it had been annoying us, we said to go ahead and replace it.  

The real price hit though was the hot water heater.  When Omar was checking out our water filtration system (since hard water is what gunked up our faucet making it stiff), he noticed leaking from the hot water heater.  He immediately brought it to my attention and showed me where the specific issues were.  He wasn't making it up.  I could see it with my own eyes.  And while it wasn't critical, it wasn't going to get better either.  Since the hot water heater was the original from when they built the place, I knew we'd need to replace it soon anyway, so I told him to go ahead and add that to the list of things to do that day.  

I started to think I was going to have to feed them because they were going to be there all day.  ;)

In the end, they finished up in decent time and even took a quick look at a running toilet issue we had.  They were a great team and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again next time we need plumbing work done - which will probably be sooner rather than later since the water filtration system needs replacing too.

This company is very professional and will go out of their way to accommodate you.  We had tried two other plumbing companies and they couldn't schedule is for about 5 days out.  We really needed someone to come soon as we had a faucet that wouldn't shut off.  Diamondback was very accommodating and could schedule us in 3 days.  Our tech was Cabe and he was on time, very courteous.  He got right to work and installed two new faucets in the bathroom and replaced our garbage disposal.  We were very happy with the way things turned out and would highly recommended this company and we would use in the future!

I had a plumbing emergency today. A pipe behind my shower had a leak and started spraying, and I jumped on Yelp to find someone to help. Eric answered himself and I was extremely lucky that he was able to come within a half-hour of my call.

He came, fixed the problem quickly, and is clearly a straight-shooting guy. I was very impressed. The cost was also incredibly reasonable. I would highly recommend Hansen's Plumbing Service. I'll be using Eric now as my plumber for any and all needs. If you're having an issue right now, stop looking at Yelp and just call Eric.

Water leaking from my 20 year old water heater.
Panicked and went straight to Yelp. I found Lawson Plumbing, and saw that they had great reviews, and called them and explained my concerns (flooding).They assured me that they would have someone out same day, and they did . Team member Randall showed up and replaced the water heater. Randall was incredible. He explained everything clearly and frequently checked that I was happy with what he had done, and was doing.
Explained to me that the company policy was to do everything in the clients best interest, and do the right thing for them. What a great way to do business, no wonder they have so may great reviews. Even though it was late in the evening, Randall told me that he would not leave us hanging, and would finish the job that day, and test that it was working correctly. Which is exactly what he did.  If you have any plumbing issues, you need to call Lawson,  and ask for Randall. Incredible service.

Phenomenal service. Had an emergency and Flush King was able to show up in under an hour. Very professional, clean, and quick. I will definitely use them again.

Amazing service. I needed a rush repair in order to obtain a home loan from Wells Fargo (stay far far far away from Wells Fargo for home loans). Vik came and took care of it all at the last minute, on a Saturday. I expect a large bill in this type of situation and was very pleasantly surprised! Reasonable pricing, on time for the appointment and the quality of work was great. Lawson Family Plumbing is now on my list of go-to resources. Thanks for the help and responsiveness!

I didn't want to leave a negative review but I still can't get over my explanation why I was being overcharged. Also, I want people to know how ProSkill does business.
So my renter's told me their thermostat stopped working. I called ProSkill because I heard good things about them. I typically perform repairs on my rental myself as I am a contractor but I was out of town. My renter told me ProSkill was at my house in less than 10 minutes and had the thermostat replaced within 10 minutes (as I would expect). Unfortunately, it wasn't a programmable thermostat as that was what I had in the house. I had the renter send me a picture of the thermostat and I could tell it was a $19 Honeywell. The tech called me when he left the house and said it will be $139. Now this may not sound expensive to you but when you have rental house's, every dollar in maintenance and repairs add up. Let's break down that $139 for 10 minutes of work. The thermostat is $19 from home depot, which ProSkill probably gets them for $15. That leaves $124 in 10 minutes of labor from the technician. At this point I wasn't too upset about the charge but my renter was unhappy with the non programmable thermostat. I personally prefer non programmable thermostats but I'll do most anything that's easy to keep my renter's happy. So I called the manager or owner of ProSkill to explain why I wasn't too excited about the excessive charge for a cheap thermostat. After about 30 minutes of arguing it finally came out that his excessive charge for a cheap thermostat was because he's in the business of making money. As soon as I heard that, I was done. I don't know about you, but I think a company like ProSkill should be in the business of making the customer happy... the money part comes later.
Needless to say I had ProSkill go back to the house and remove their thermostat.
I ended up installing the Nest a couple weeks later and we're pretty happy with it.
If you choose ProSkill, get an estimate and remember, he's in the business to make money. Who knows, maybe the owner was just having a bad day or just didn't like me questioning his cheap thermostat and his $750/hr rates...

I had a crazy idea of an exterior floor drain and Yair helped me talk through the solution of my issue. I will call Elite Rooter again with any plumbing needs. They were quick to respond, professional and on time.

After our usual plumber let us down several times I took to Yelp and found Somers Plumbers.  Its a huge challenge when you are reaching out trying to find a decent person to work in your home.   Someone that doesn't just pull down the first $ number that comes to their head and someone that you can trust to be there when they say and do what you ask.

I am really happy to have been able to find Dave Somers.  Dave is a truly knowledgeable plumber coming from over 16 years working for someone else, Dave now turned his experience over to becoming an ROC Licensed Plumber and business owner recently

He was quick to respond back to questions and rough pricing through Yelp, his communication skills through text/Yelp & phone are fantastic.  I always knew where I stood with Dave.

I set Dave up with 5 different faucet replacements which included new drain/plugs and a challenging hands free kitchen faucet.  Dave came through perfect on everything.  If I didn't have the right part, he had the parts on hand or knew where to get them.   He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.  

I am already figuring out his next project.

Leaks, water softeners, RO, faucets, drains, toilets.  Dave does them all.

The original company that was supposed to follow up at my mom's house once my husband opened up the wall for a leak was unable to come until Tuesday. Being a Friday it was just too long to wait as the leak ended up being active unless the main was off.

I hit Yelp again and Sound Plumbing was thr first company that I called that could make it before then. Dylan showed up the same day, but didn't have the parts to fix until Tuesday as thr parts stores would be closed for the holiday weekend and he was booked for Monday, He was able to stop the water from leaking where the main could be on which bought us some time. He was professional, super polite. Great guy. I would recommend!

Once 100% Plumbing earned my business, they showed me that their top priority was to keep my business going forward.  Mont and Eddie went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the purchase and installation of a new toilet.  Eddie performed the work neatly and efficiently, and the appointment scheduling was super-convenient too as they even let you know by text message when the service tech is en route.  That level of care certainly will have them keeping me as a customer for all of my future plumbing needs.
