Very responsive in replying to my issue. I needed new hinges on the side yard gate so it would hang straight and close properly again. Great and efficient work! I would definitely use this company again for any future needs!

Although, our door is finally installed and looks absolutely beautiful-This doesn't change what we had to go through to get here. It doesn't matter if you all were asked to speak to my husband (not sure where that came from).    When a customer calls, you should always take their calls no matter what, even if you know the customer is not happy. Jennifer or Melissa never had any trouble contacting me to schedule every single delivery! I will not remove my post because potential customers must see what they could encounter. It's not just about how beautiful the door is or how happy the customer is with the results. It's about your poor customer service and quality control during the process. You all know how terrible your mistakes were.

We had an old pool fence that needed replacing. Abrahams Fence gave us a competitive bid but also provided their advice on the best type of fence for our project. They built and installed a powder coated wrought iron fence 5 feet high and 42 feet long. Custom curved to match our pool decking curve. Installers were quick, thorough and left the area totally clean when they were finished. I would recommend Abrahams Fence for your fencing and other needs.

The reviews on here are absolutely true. Bob is professional, detail-oriented, honest, and a pleasure to work with. I interviewed multiple other fence companies before I decided to go with Ace Fence.

To be honest, I'm usually used to being at least somewhat disappointed with work that is done on my house/yard; it never seems fully up to par. It was a breath of fresh air to work with Bob and to see the quality of his work. I didn't have to go through at the end and have the team fix things (which I have had to do with other contractors unfortunately). That's because Bob is there and constantly has his eye on the quality of the work.

I'll keep it simple here. Absolutely beautiful gate, they hand make their own handles (so i've been told) so it was easy to make the handles match the front door.

As far as price. eh, it's not cheap, but it came in less than i was expecting and i also had them doing more work by moving my existing gate to the other side of the house.

Workers. Wonderful people, explaining everything to me, showing me how to adjust the auto close springs.

Now the down side. I had to call to find out about delays instead of them notifying me
Also, notice i said call them? HA If you can ever get them to answer a phone you better go buy a lottery ticket. They don't answer their phone. I had called them more than 15 times in a day before. I spent countless time trying to get them to answer a phone.

Would i use them again? If not for the phone issue, absolutely! Now because of the phone issue i would seriously only give it a 50/50 chance of getting more business from me

We used IMS to add decorative iron gates to the front courtyard of new home. We got a couple of quotes, but IMS was more competitive.  They were completed and installed just as estimated. The finished product is beautiful!  The gates really add elegance and character to the front of our home. Alex was super nice and very professional. We are very impressed with the quality of the gates and their installation. Highly recommend.

Received a message requesting my contact information and never heard back from Sebastian. I even followed up days later for an update on a quote and never heard received a response.

Juan was very responsive to all my requests.   He went over and above expectations.  His price was good and the quality of the work was outstanding.  The gate is perfect and I highly recommend his services.

Terrible to work with, unreasonable, overly sensitive when given feedback that he made something different than what I asked for.  He had the nerve to say it's my best piece yet! after I told him that something wasn't what I wanted and talked about that there's a certain level of artistic license that he can take...hate to break it to you Paul, you're a metal fabricator not an artist and I hired you to fabricate something for me the way I WANT it not the way YOU want it.  
See pics of planters he made and less than a year the top coat is peeling. and when I reached out to see if he could fix it....ABSOLUTELY NO ANSWER! Completely unprofessional! Do yourself a favor and use one of the other 5 metal fabricators in the area..they can't be any worse!
Update: as you can see..overly sensitive to feedback! I didn't pay the remainder because you did not deliver what I asked for and 2 of the things you made for me I had to ask you redo and PAID TWICE FOR IT bc of your mistake and that best piece yet gate of yours was the worst piece and no longer exists bc it was hideous and was replaced with a much better one from a more professional and talented fabricator.

Alex and Michael arrived on time at 8 am July 13, 2020 to put kickplate under my RV gate to raise it to the level that I added onto my block wall years ago, which is another 13 inches.  Alex is particularly cheerful and upbeat.  

I was feeling sorry for them that they had to work in 118 degree heat, but they had their setup, which really impressed me, that I took this picture.  A large EZ up with misters!!  I never seen any worker bring such a thing.  

Gate Repairs was willing to match the $350 bid that I got from several other gate businesses (maybe even this same business)  several years ago, but never acted on it.  I did not tell them that my lowest bid this year was $400, but they wrote back that they were willing to match the $350 I got from the past.  I was elated.  I got a bid as high as $1200 from one gate company, and that was only if I put kickplate on top of the gate not at the bottom!

So make sure you get several bids, folks, cos they could be $1000 apart.  

It was hard to get bids on this project because the other gate companies only make new gates, or they do not come out to the job site to install what they make in the shop, due to not being licensed to do installations on site.  

At first they welded the plate on top of  the frame, not inside the frame.    I didn't like that at all, and they already painted it.  They said they didn't weld the plate inside the frame so it looks same on both sides, cos the plate has a tendency to warp.  It is such a little area, like 1 foot high.  I said you could put enough welds in it, even all the way around, not just spot welding here and there, so the plate won't warp.

So they took apart what they did. on that one side, and put metal plate inside the frame, and got my approval.  Sooooo much better!  
Otherwise I would have looked at that plate on the outside of the frame (like a piece of cardboard taped there) and had bad feelings every time I look at it, and for years.  Alex said I just want you to be happy.  I said I was happy with the changes they made.  He said some people like the panel on this side, some like it on the other side.  I said Well you didn't ask me first.  I told him I think they should have asked me.  Maybe they will ask people from now on to avoid having the cost of time and materials to do it over.  .  

I don't know why I put off this gate modification for so long, but I love the Covid quarantine   I got home projects done during this time that I been putting off for 16 years!  

While working, Alex told me they could replace existing wood slats, which  too are too small  for the opening (cos lazy person, not me, buys them ready cut that way, no need to rip each slat) .  Existing wooden slats leaves large gapes in metal frame that people could see me skinny dip in my pool easily   Wood has to be custom ripped to fit between metal, so people cannot see through.  Gate Repairs will paint the wood for me, too.  Alex said he will call Areceli to give me a quote for that.  

On July 30, a different person named Adam showed up with the same Michael who came with Alex on July 18, to replace my gate slats with wider boards so the 1/4 opening on each side no longer exists between the board and the metal frame grid.

They stained the wood at their shop with the Behr Redwood stain 502 I told them to get, and cut it onsite and installed.  Cost $560 after a $100 previous customer discount.

I noticed paint drops and overspray on my brick paving and the concrete.  But Adam insisted that their paint (in spray can) does not make drops like that, but there was also 25 inches overspray you can see in the photo.  Adam said he and Michael painted in the alley, not where the drips are.  No one coulda done that but the gate workers, which Adam said could have been done by Alex last time.  They did not have the right solvent to remove the paint drops so I got my nail polish remover, which well, didn't get it all out, but made a difference.  Areceli at the office both called and emailed me offering for someone to come out again with the right solvent to remove the paint from my pavers, after the guys told the office they did not have the means to remove the paint.

After they left I worked on it for several days with remaining nail polish remover.  I got it out enough so it isn't as noticeable that I could live with, so they do not have to come back again.  But that is why I give them 5 stars, because they were conscientious to come out again to make it right.  

I tell you I really like Alex, the company has a big asset in his upbeat, enthusiastic, cheerful, yes and  I just want you to be happy personality.  I felt Adam was the opposite.

Appreciate the communication of Geoff , the ease of scheduling and timelessness of the work performed. The gate looks great and accomplished what i was seeking which was a complete slat replacement with colored composite wood to ensure good looks through rain or shine.   Thank you Geoff and his partners for doing a great job.

Called upon Sunset Fence for advice and recommendations. Their response time and assessment/recommendations were stellar.

Owner responded with a sorry I don't do that kind of work the end.  Didn't ask me to clarify my wants or if you ever need xyz...obviously doesn't need my business!   If I ever need whatever he does do, I wouldn't bother with him!

Mike Stoker and his team at Steel Creations are the finest steel fabrication shop in phoenix.  They have done work for myself and many of my friends.  True custom work is their specialty.  If you are looking for gates, pool fences, front security doors or most anything else made out of steel.  

All my friends who have used Mike love him and the work his firm has done.

Michael restored our 20 year old pool fence (rarely used and in a good shape) with new sleeves and a new gate. He saved us 50% of what others quoted. The pool fence looks and operates like new! Completely restored. Even if we had chosen the new pool fence option, Michael would have been our first choice. Professional service, described entire process upfront, answered questions, gave options and recommendations, and always competitive pricing.

A great company!  Our pool fence was installed by this company eight (8) years ago.  The fencing comes with a lifetime warranty.  A few very minor issues recently developed with the fence, so we contacted them.  They were very prompt in scheduling an appointment for the service call.  Tim, the owner, came out today and completed the minor repair work in a timely manner.  There was no charge for the service, since the fence was under warranty.  Tim is a very personable individual and a pleasure to do business with.  We highly recommend this company for any pool fence work.
