I am updating my review. The initial install was wonderful and I was extremely happy with the new gate. However, shortly after install, it rained and the slats seemed to be retaining water and there was some staining on the bottom of them. I reached out to find out if that was normal and if it would eventually go away or if it could be fixed. I received a quick response to the initial message but after I provided my address, for him to look up the information, I never heard back. The water stains are still on the bottom of the slats. Disappointed in the follow up.

I thought this was going to be a great experience because it started out quite well. We purchased two doors. Then it came to the installation....our installer, Clay was on time and did a nice job, however he noticed that the sweep or whatever they call the piece of metal on the bottom of the door that holds the rubber was several inches too narrow for the front door, he told me he did the paperwork and someone would be calling me either later that day or the following Monday - no one ever called me. I gave them about a week to call me then I started making phone calls, it took many calls to finally get someone to at least tell me they were the correct person to fix my issue. She failed also. All I kept hearing was I'm sorry that happened and I'll have to ask a (different) manager about what's going on a how to fix it.
When they finally said they'd be out I asked if the person would be coming with the correct materials to fix the issue, I was told that, yes, he would be. Well, when he showed up around 8:30 AM he did NOT have any materials with him. He was just there to look at it. Really, are you kidding me?? I was assured that he would be back before 5:00 because he just lives a couple of blocks from me, he would take care of it, it would be repaired before my guests arrived at 5:00. 5:00 came and went, when someone finally showed up after 6:00 (and it wasn't the guy that promised me he would be there) it took him about 45 minutes to fix it -- that was 45 minutes aways from my guests. I asked where the other guy was, he said, he couldn't come.
This was a horrible customer service experience! I get so tired of hearing I'm sorry, if more effort was made to actually help the customer everyone wouldn't have to keep apologizing. I finally had to keep telling them to stop apologizing, I'm sorry wasn't going to fix my door!! This company has too many chiefs and not enough indians - so to speak.
A follow-up Quality call was not made like Natalie mentioned she would be making the following day.
We are not happy with this business at all. When we replace our gate with will go elsewhere.

We used Abraham Fence again did another project and couldn't be happier. We had part of a cinder block wall removed and replaced with a wrought iron gate. Everything looks fantastic!! I cannot recommend Abraham enough!!!!!

Although my initial experience with Sunset Gates was less than stellar, the owner, Shawn, really stepped up to make things right and delivered a 5-star experience.

On the day of the installation, I was impressed with the crew that installed the gates. They were friendly, polite, and professional. Unfortunately, some of the cedar slats on the new gates were splintered and one of the privacy straps we ordered was not installed. We called to express our disappointment and the installer returned to replace the damaged slats and our missing privacy strap. While he was replacing the slats, he informed me cedar is very difficult to obtain due to supply chain constraints and the slats may not be as expected. While it wasn't great to hear since we specifically wanted cedar, not composite, it's not the fault of the business given the impossible COVID situation.

Several months later, our gate needed to be adjusted and the owner came out to ensure it was corrected and we were happy with our gates. He also offered to have all the slats replaced to ensure we were satisfied. While the initial product may not have been flawless, the fact that Sunset Gates is (1) a small business dealing with the constraints of COVID, and (2) owning up to their mistakes and making things right speaks volumes.  It is almost unheard of these days to have such great customer service but Sunset Gates really came through and we would certainly use them again in the future.

We used IMS to add decorative iron gates to the front courtyard of new home. We got a couple of quotes, but IMS was more competitive.  They were completed and installed just as estimated. The finished product is beautiful!  The gates really add elegance and character to the front of our home. Alex was super nice and very professional. We are very impressed with the quality of the gates and their installation. Highly recommend.

I came to Yelp looking for someone to replace our side gate to the yard. Juan from JM Custom Iron Work was super responsive and helpful from the start! We got our gate done quickly and at a fair price. Communication was always great and he always responded back within a short time so we had no questions unanswered. Would definitely recommend!

Paul came out and did a repair on my 110 year old cast iron printing press. I was nervous about it as an antique but he came out quickly, put my mind at ease, and did a great job. The weld should hold up well. I won't hesitate to call him if I have any other issues with the press. Thanks!

This is my first review on Yelp but I wanted to make sure that Alex was rewarded for his outstanding service. I contacted him about a weld on my fence holding the pin in place that had broken causing my fence not to work. He responded in a quick and timely manner with a quote. The next day we set up a time for the following day and he was here on time. He answered all my questions and had the work done within 30 minutes. He even went above and beyond the work I requested by also adding a stronger weld on another piece of the gate at no extra charge. Thanks again for your hard and honest work!

They installed a wood gate with metal frame for the back yard. Redwood stain and I love it!

It may seem a little strange to review them when they did not do the work.  I requested a quote to redo a post that was leaning so our gate did not shut.  As it turns out, they have an $1800 minimum for work.  This is common and the gate people (Action Gate) had already warned me that I would have trouble finding any one to do this small of a job.  However, Bob M, the owner, took to time to email me and make suggestions about how it could be done.  One of his employees will do the work.  I think this speaks volumes about their customer service, so I would use them any time I needed work done.

Recently widen our RV gate and Ron followed up when he said he would and got the stucco guy to come out (even though it was a new contractor for him) when planned and he did a great job on the stucco.  The gate looks great and Ron's pricing was very fair.

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Mike of Steel Creations. He was so professional, friendly and knowledgeable. When he said he would be here, he was. He followed up when he said he would which means a lot to me. It was so refreshing working with a company that actually did what they said they would do. I HIGHLY recommend Steel Creations & Fabrications for all your gate/fence needs. They do amazing, beautiful work too!!!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! We found him based on Yelp reviews and they were spot on.  Michael was very accommodating fitting us in on a cancellation to get our fence installed. It gave us such piece of mind with our one year old. He was on time, kind and very knowledgeable. He walked my husband through the process and got it done quickly. It looks better than we ever imagined! We have nothing but great things to say and will definitely recommend him to anyone in the future in need of pool fence installation.

Great company! With a personal history of working in a pediatric emergency department, I have seen my fair share of drownings that could have been 100% avoided if safety precautions had been put in place. It's a harsh reality. As a new parent myself who purchased a home with no pool fence, I contacted this company and requested an estimate sooner than later as my own little one is already crawling. I am not going to take any chances with my kids no matter what developmental stage they are in. I think a pool fence is always better installed sooner than later. In fact, I wish it was a thing to add pool fence installments as a baby shower gift. Can you tell I'm passionate about this subject!?

AZ pool fence was a great experience from start to finish. They sent someone out to provide a free estimate and thoroughly explained the process. I really appreciated how they took the time to listen to my vision and answered all of my questions. After that visit, I felt really comfortable moving forward with the installment. The gentleman who came to install the fence was very professional and kind. It took him only a few hours to get everything set up. The results were exactly what I envisioned (if not even better).

Not going to lie, I did have a slight cringe moment before the installment thinking the pool fence would hinder the view of my landscaped backyard. It's a small price to pay for safety. I ended up choosing the desert sand mesh fence and it actually blends in beautifully!  I love that the mesh fence is durable, the perfect height, and the best part is that it's also easy to remove if I am having an adult pool party or needing to get work done inside of it.

The icing on the cake was that this company was also able to fix my sliding glass patio door which has had multiple issues and had been permanently stuck. I had previously contacted another company who came out and stated they had no clue how to fix it. This door was a mess, totally jammed with wires stuck inside everywhere. AZ Pool Fence was able to send a pro over who was able to fix the sliding door in no time. It works perfectly now.

I am very happy with my pool fence and sliding glass door! Everyone from this company was so friendly, clean cut, prompt with answering all of my questions, and was able to go above and beyond making sure everything was properly installed and in place. I highly recommend their services and have told all of my neighbors about them as well.

I had Hernandez make a custom RV Gate for me and I am truly impressed.  Everything done was top notch.  Everytime someone comes over, they mention how nice my gate looks.  You get for what you pay for and if you want quality, one-of-a-kind, look no further, excellent craftsmanship.

Like most home owners I had a vison of what I wanted done at my home but did not know how or where to begin. I came across Gabe Castle, owner of Sacred Steel AZ's work on Offer Up and was intrigued by the many unique projects Gabe completed. It can be intimidating reaching out to a company you have never worked with but I decided to reach out to Gabe and am very thankful I did.

From the moment I contacted Gabe I was impressed with Gabe's willingness to actively listen to my thoughts while answering questions and offering suggestions. I did not feel any pressure from Gabe and at no time felt rushed when explaining my vision. (I am that annoying homeowner that loves to hover and ask questions so I was very involved with the project which allowed me to see the time and effort Gabe displayed in making sure my project was being constructed to my liking). The more I got to learn about Gabe to more I realized the pride Gabe takes in his work and his willingness to always go the extra mile.

My project involved working closely with another contractor which can be challenging but Gabe did not skip a beat and worked hand in hand with my paver installation allowing both companies to do their best work. Gabe showed up on time, every time with strong communication skills that kept me in tune with the project completion and was also patient with me when I asked to modify the plans on the fly. At the end of day, Sacred Steel aims to please.

If you are considering getting any type of metal work done I would highly recommend Gabe at Sacred Steel AZ. Through the entire project my thoughts were at ease knowing that Gabe was on job and that's a piece of mind money cannot buy.  While we are on the subject of money I felt Gabe was honest with the cost of materials and did his best to get the maximum yield out of material to help stretch my dollar further. Gabe's labor cost was fair in relation to the type of work he performed. (I later learned he was well below the average cost of his competitors.) When it came time to compensate Gabe for his work I had no reservations on the price as I felt it was deserved based on the wonderful outcome.

Each time I pull in my driveway and see Gabe's work it brings a smile to my face. I have had countless compliments on my projects originality and coolness and feel that others should give Gabe an opportunity for their projects, you would be in good hands. I really wanted to go with this couple due to the reviews of quality workmanship. They have great pictures on their website of finished work. I did read a review that mentioned a very long wait period, sure enough I gave all my information and was told I was on a three week wait list, 4 weeks went by, I finally gave up. 2 stars for at least staying in contact, but not being accurate with the estimate wait time.
