Lev is professional, communicative, and competitively priced.  I had an RV gate that had been falling out of the wall since I bought my house.  I decided it was time for a repair when it finally started to really fall over after a windy monsoon night.

Lev responded right away, was able to get out to take a look within a couple days and was able to make the repairs within just a couple days of that.  He communicated consistently through Yelp the whole time and didn't even need me home to complete the repair.

Like I said: pricing was great, quality was great, and I was able to pay online.  I strongly recommend his repair work.  I can also say his quote for a NEW gate was also very competitive, but I wasn't looking for a replacement this time around.

You can't go wrong with the Handy Gate Man.

Sadly our experience with this business has been abysmal.  The sales rep was great and since then it has been downhill. Our door was installed with a whole section at the bottom missing. He said he would bring it by the end of the week.

We also noticed one of the bars was bent, there was a gap by the lock part and the sun screen was really loose.

About a week later, I called the company and spoke to Nadine Pappas.  She had no record of there being an issue and us waiting for the reminder of our door to be installed.  She asked me to send photos, which I did immediately. She said she would look into it and someone would contact us to schedule a time to come out and resolve these issues.

It has now been EIGHT days and no one has bothered to call.  I guess since the job was prepaid, they don't care anymore.  Very very disappointed and would not recommend this company.

I chose this company because of Yelp. Sent a message. Never received a call, text or email from them. Moved on to other companies.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. So So refreshing to have an honest hard working person. Bob gave us a quote, told us it would be 2-3 weeks out. We had a conflict with another contractor; Bob and his crew came out the next day. We never once questioned or worried about what they were doing. Bob and his crew are perfectionist, you could see they took the time to make sure the pool fence and gate were perfect. They were neat, quiet, and extremely professional. Love Love them!

I recently had Sunset out to replace my 15 year old sun battered side gate. I cannot remember the last time I have been so satisfied with a home improvement project. The gate is beautiful. The quality and installation were both top notch. My only regret is not having done the upgrade sooner. I've gone out and opened and closed the gate probably 70 times to enjoy the silent and smooth operation. Worth every penny.

We used IMS to add decorative iron gates to the front courtyard of new home. We got a couple of quotes, but IMS was more competitive.  They were completed and installed just as estimated. The finished product is beautiful!  The gates really add elegance and character to the front of our home. Alex was super nice and very professional. We are very impressed with the quality of the gates and their installation. Highly recommend.

We had two custom side gates made. Amazing craftsmanship and quality! Professional, detail-oriented, easy to work with and delivered two beautiful gates within the timeframe promised. Completely recommend and have already referred to others!

Paul replaced three yard gates and an RV gate. My new gates are simple, functional and have a beautiful patina that will last! Paul gave me a very reasonable estimate. I had gotten estimates for composite gates but Paul was able to fabricate four new gates for a better price! He listened to my concerns and offered solutions to some of the issues I had with my old gates. All projects were completed in a timely manner, on site. Paul communicated well throughout the process, showed attention to detail, and cleaned up the area when finished. I would recommend him to anyone and will contact him for any future projects.

Had my gate re-hung with a new j-hook and the pin replaced and welded  and the gate straightened by Alex and Steve.  They did a fantastic job!  I would recommend them to anyone.  Alex explained what was needed and what he was going to fix, and it works perfect.  Awesome job!

My gate was a horrendous mess of rotting wood and peeling paint! (It was probably the original one from 1997.) Geoff created an absolutely beautiful replacement in exactly the right color. He and his crew were friendly and professional, and they left no mess behind. They even installed it on a Sunday!

Not the cheapest, just the best. Highly professional from start to finish. We had an unusual situation - a 50-year-old redwood fence overgrown with literally tons of cat's claw vines. The overgrowth was about 12 feet high and 8 feet thick along the 90 food length of our back yard. This isn't the kind of demo Sunset usually has to do, but they quickly arranged for another contractor with a backhoe and large truck to haul the cat's claw away in just two hours! All in all, a great experience, and the fence they put up - in just one day! - is beautiful.

Ron is a good guy. Straight shooter. I liked his old school way of handling the project. Very easy to work with. The most important thing was the communication was good and he kept me informed with any changes that  needed to happen to complete the work. I'll call him again when I need another fence/gate installed.

He followed up when he said he would which means a lot to me. It was so refreshing working with a company that actually did what they said they would do. Michael was super professional, transparent and friendly. He provided the most competitive cost and based on previous experience with some other local pool net/fence company, we were ready to try someone new. He did a wonderful job installing our new fence on our new travertine pool deck. He communicated very well throughout the process and took all of my concerns into consideration. He knocked it out of the park. The fence looks way better than I ever expected and it seems to be a very study and safe product. Highly recommend you consider Michael for your next pool fence project!

Like most home owners I had a vison of what I wanted done at my home but did not know how or where to begin. Through the entire project my thoughts were at ease knowing that Gabe was on job and that's a piece of mind money cannot buy.  While we are on the subject of money I felt Gabe was honest with the cost of materials and did his best to get the maximum yield out of material to help stretch my dollar further. Gabe's labor cost was fair in relation to the type of work he performed. (I later learned he was well below the average cost of his competitors.) When it came time to compensate Gabe for his work I had no reservations on the price as I felt it was deserved based on the wonderful outcome.

Each time I pull in my driveway and see Gabe's work it brings a smile to my face. I have had countless compliments on my projects originality and coolness and feel that others should give Gabe an opportunity for their projects, you would be in good hands.
