I wanted to give a huge kudos to Brittany for her customer service!  She was extremely pleasant and understanding.  Secondly, I want to thank Chris the service tech for being amazing.  The customer service and the whole experience with this company was amazing.  I won't use anyone else but this company.  We had an after hours issue and they didn't charge overtime rates as a lot of other companies do.  I will not use any A/C company but this one!  Huge kudos! Thank you

The A/C froze up at 11pm  last night, I called several companies that said open 24/7 these were the only ones to call me back.  After quick consult, noting that the system was thawed out and back up and running Al   was willing to come by but told me without the system acting up it would be hard to diagnose, suggesting a service appointment to give the system a thorough checkup.  I really appreciate the fact he could have ran up a charge for a visit, instead gave professional advice.  Will be scheduling a checkup soon

My AC quit working on a late Sat night and I sent an email to describe the problem.  On Sunday I got a response with info for Monday.  First thing Monday I had an app with the estimate for repairs.  They arrived exactly on time and fixed the problem in an hour for the exact estimate price.  AC now works perfectly!

Eric Johnson came out to talk me through replacing my 20 year old packaged gas unit. All I can say is WOW! Eric knows what he's talking about, is focused on finding the right machine for his customer (without a bias based on old equipment), and he very quickly built trust. There's a reason Scottsdale Air has been around so long; Eric demonstrates that to me in a matter of minutes (if not seconds).

Mr. Alejandro did a fantastic job installing our Mini split, he was very professional and communicated very well about the install and process! Would recommend him to anyone looking for professional install and great service!

Called to schedule an annual check up and got an answer right away. Turns out it was the owner who answered and immediately got me on the schedule for a 2 day turn around. Tony was professional and informative about the check up.. will definitely be using him for future needs!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company.  2 weeks ago they fixed my mom in laws capacitor.  Not only were they timely but professional and polite.  Everyone from the receptionist to the technician are friendly and knowledgeable.  Then ironically my air conditioning went out due to a shorted out controller.  Again the same individuals were awesome.  Bridgette is so kind and Patrick is A+ --everyone does a superb job and so friendly.  Not only are they the best but I would refer them to family--anytime.

We LOVE our new mist system. Rex was fantastic to work with. He came out and gave a thorough estimate and didn't try to sell us what we didn't need. We scheduled plumbing to access soft water and his crew arrived on time and completed their work in a timely but complete fashion. We are very happy with Rex and Senor Mist, not to mention much cooler and we can enjoy our outdoor patio and pool area in the Phoenix Summer heat.

Ty and the crew at Preferred Air did an excellent job making improvements to a poorly performing duct system installed by another contractor. All of my concerns were addressed. The price was absolutely fair. Communication from everyone at Preferred Air was thorough and professional.

Do not hesitate to reach out to this firm. If you are concerned about the trip charge -- don't be, it is well worth it. Their rate is highly competitive and of the several HVAC companies I've worked with in the area, nobody was as thorough with diagnosing the problem and coming up with pragmatic, data-based solutions. You may be able to find another firm who can come out for free, shoot out some ideas, and give you a low quote -- but I wouldn't trust that they are going to do the job right the first time or that they won't end up adding onto your invoice in order to complete the job.

Preferred Air did excellent work, they did it right the first time, and they left the site immaculate. I'm very impressed with this firm and would highly recommend them.

I contacted Francisco about a project with a family I was working with to get their AC fixed.
Francisco was fast, courteous and VERY Knowledgeable. Francisco will not price gouge you and tells you EXACTLY want needs to be fixed. I will recommend him to anyone in my family and friends circle.

What NICE people, starting with Brenda, who scheduled my appointment.  Our AC fan stopped working and with a 15 year old AC unit, I KNEW most repair places would likely just tell me that the whole thing needed replacing.  After reading other Yelp reviews, gave Brenda a call - she scheduled Rich and Michael to come visit.  They arrived on time, and promptly set to work in the attic to determine the cause of the problem.  A burned out IC board.  Rich brought the board down and showed me, as well as the VERY dirty filter which was SUPPOSED to have been changed by the last people who serviced the unit last year.  He and Michael were very personable and very knowledgeable.  Rich said they'd have to get the part from the warehouse and they'd be back the next day to install that and a new filter.  And that they did, the board was the most expensive part of the repair - I thought their labor charge was very reasonable and I was so happy for the honesty of the transaction, not trying to sell me something I did not need.  We will most definitely call on Rich and Michael for our next furnace or AC needs!

After getting a quote on getting our air condition replaced we decided to go with Bell Air Conditioning.  The guys came in all of them polite, at 8:00 AM on a weekday morning and by 5:00 pm had completely replaced my unit and had the new one up and running.
The only reason I do not give them 5 stars is because there was an issue with the unit where it would run for a day and then cut itself off saying that service needed to be called. Mike one of the service manager who came out to check the issue checked different things and finally with him and Trane narrowing down what was happening with the unit they fixed the issue and I have had no further issues and everything is running very efficiently. My wattage use in my home has dropped by half and living in Arizona in the summer time that is a great savings on your wallet!
One other thing, the owner of the company Dan called and then kept in touch with me until the issue was fixed and I was satisfied and even extended all of my warranties for my inconvenience.
For fast quick and quality work and people who treat you with respect I would call Bell Air every time.

Was in a panic when the air quit blowing cold last night.  Called Steve and he took the time to walk me through some steps to see if it was something simple that I may have over looked.  Set an appointment for me this morning, was on time, super professional and had my AC unit blowing cold in no time at all.  Such a relief!!!!  Excellent pricing as well... Going to need some business cards to pass out to my friends!

I need to start off by saying that I called Michael at Desert Chill Air Conditioning at 6:00 pm on a Monday early evening.  My A/C unit for upstairs all of a sudden was blowing out warm air and was over 90 degrees upstairs. I couldn't be more impressed with how honest and straight forward Michael was and getting my A/C Unit up and running within 5 minutes!  He found the run capacitor to be bad, which was the best news for me as the customer. He had a new run capacitor on his truck, installed it, and what do you know, ice cold air upstairs again!  Total Cost of $65.  In the past several years, I have been given the run a round with many different A/C guys and companies.  I am so happy to finally find Michael at Desert Chill Air!  His honesty and ethics will never be forgotten in my books.  If you are looking for the run a round and many different diagnosis with these companies, call someone else.  If what you need is a quick and honest job, call Michael at Desert Chill Air Conditioning.  I am so happy I did and still can't stop smiling!

With a name like Semper Fi I didn't want to make a bad review.  That would be almost unpatriotic right?  But I gave these guys a lot of chances, like 10 chances, and they just don't listen.

They did a terrible job on my AC Thermostat replacement.  I wasn't going to write about it.  But after they finally got it right (took 3 trips and a supervisor), they began spamming me.  I received phone calls and emails weekly.  On the phone I told them stop spamming me and they would say oh sorry and 1 week later I get another phone call.  Emails were easier I just blocked them.  But now they are texting me.  I replied stop and also stop spamming but they just keep doing it.  Over 10 texts, 10 phone calls, and 10 emails- that's 30 marketing calls in less than a year!

I wanted a thermostat changed.  I never agreed to 30 more pieces of advertising.  Here's a tip guys:  good HVAC folks are hard to find.  If you actually did a good job the first time, you wouldn't need so much marketing.

Here's the story on my thermostat.  Simple roof HVAC AC/Heat pump combo, had an old thermostat from like 1970, the round kind with the mercury in it (people over 50 will remember).  I wanted the new digital kind, so I went to Home Depot and picked one up for $50.  I carefully matched the wire colors, diagrams, etc., but the fan wasn't working.  So I went to Yelp and found Semper-Fi.  They came out and said that the thermostat I bought was wrong, and that they would use their own, for $400.  Now I don't know why it costs $400 for a simple thermostat, this wasn't a touch-screen thing or whatever.  Anyway, the kid they sent was apparently new.  I said go ahead I just wanted to get this over with.  The kid couldn't do it.  So then he got on the phone, got walked through it by a supervisor.  Then he said he was done and he left.  Then I tested the unit, and it was blowing hot air instead of cold air.  (why didn't the newbie test it before leaving?)   I called back they tried to tell me that they could come back in 3 days.  3 days without AC in Arizona is unacceptable, especially when I just paid $400 for something that should have been $200 max ($50 parts, $150 labor).  After enough arguing the supervisor came back.  Oh the kid just switched the wires he said.  Yeah I get it, I'm in construction too.  Except I DON'T SEND NEWBIES ALONE TO FOLKS' HOMES!  Let him ride in a truck with an experienced tech for 6 months before you send him out!

So that was the story, first I was the guinea-pig for this newbie, then I was over-charged, and finally I'm spammed!  Yeah, you bet I'm pissed.  Ooo-rah my ass.  If this was the marines you'd be doing pushups until your hands bleed.  I know they don't allow such mediocrity in the marines.

Our home's central a/c unit's fan went out at 1:30am when it was a mere 92F out. We immediately called George Brazil, because they claim to have 24/7 service. The person we spoke to said there was no one available at 2am, but someone would be out at 7am the next morning. Suspicious, ex-New Yorker that I am, I immediately called at 7am to confirm the appointment, only to be told by the dispatcher that no one takes calls at 2am and nothing had been set up in the appointment books (well, why would you bother looking at the appointment book if there wouldn't have been anyone around, liar?). He then set up an appointment for someone to be there between 8 and 12 (I figured, if they're like COX, that means after 3pm). I immediately looked here to read other reviews and that convinced me to call someone else and schedule with them. When I called George Brazil to cancel, they didn't even ask why I was cancelling (something tells me, they aren't strangers to cancelled appointments).

Next time you're thinking of calling George Brazil for work, call Brazil instead. No doubt, you'll be able to rely more on a technician arriving from Rio de Janeiro to fix your a/c than someone from up the street in Phoenix!
