Our a/c unit was replaced by a different, larger company in 2014, shortly before we bought this house. We have (solely) used Four Seasons a few times over the past few years any time we've had a/c issues. We've always had great experiences with Kevin, the owner, and I have recommended the company in our local Facebook group and on NextDoor when people ask. He was always knowledgeable.

Our a/c went out late this morning, so I called for an appointment. Brittany, the dispatcher, promised a tech would be at my house sometime after 3:00 pm, letting me know it could be on the later side. I felt lucky to get a same day appointment.

She called just after 5 to let me know we had not been forgotten. Then she called again at 6:15 to let me know a tech was on the way from Tempe. Awesome communication and very friendly!

George and another tech arrived after 7 and got right to it. They were also incredibly friendly and professional. They determined the motor was bad and because I had already purchased a new motor a few years ago, it was under warranty. They came in and George let me know that he'd order a new motor right away and he'd do everything possible to have it tomorrow so he could switch it out, but there was a chance the part might not be in until Thursday.  I would get a brand new motor and only pay for labor and the service call, which prices were clear and fair.

I should note that it was 87 in the house by then and I was sitting on the couch, literally dripping wet with sweat, with wash cloths my kids kept re-dipping in ice water, wrapped around my neck. Not a pretty sight.  

I keep the house at 72 or colder normally because my body stopped cooling itself properly a few years ago. Summer is very hard on me and leaving the house has been an especially big struggle this year. If I get too overheated, I legitimately pass out.  But not before I humiliate myself by sweating profusely and turning tomato red - enough to look like I must have some horrible, obscure communicable fever disease.  

Anyway! 87 was an about-to-black-out-level-10-things-are-bad situation. I was embarrassed because, well, you should have seen me. I apologized and nicely asked if they could try to squeeze us in tomorrow if the part was available because chemo and steroids and immunosuppressants make me look and feel like I've run a marathon... from my couch... when i get hot. He assured me he'd do everything he could. I was appreciative.

I was texting my parents so I could pack myself up and go over. My husband, kids, and dogs were on their own. It's every man for himself under these conditions. ‍

Just kidding. I wouldn't leave the dogs in these conditions.

That's when George came back in. They had been out in the back where the unit is and to the front to the truck a few times, and George had also been on the phone, ordering parts, I'd assumed.

He told me he couldn't leave me like this until the part came, so they were going to temporarily replace the broken motor with one they had on the truck. And then they will come back when the new motor is here and switch out the loaner part for the pricier one we had originally purchased that was under warranty.

They stayed an extra half an hour and worked until 8:00 at night, doing something they absolutely did NOT have to do. I wasn't at all upset with them about having to wait. Air conditioning units break! That's life. It just happens to affect me pretty negatively, but that is nobody else's problem.

I'm uncomfortable with being ill and embarrassed by it and how it affects me. I never ask for accommodations and never expect anything.

So maybe that is why it felt especially generous. Or maybe it's because I had an infusion on Friday that wiped me out and I can barley get from my bed, downstairs to the couch, so the idea of getting everything packed up to leave for the night and day tomorrow was daunting.

I dunno. But regardless, George didn't know any of that. He is just a nice person and an excellent employee that works for a company that is good enough to keep an employee like him. He took something I mentioned in passing as an explanation because I was embarrassed and was so generous.

They told me they'd collect the service fee  when they come back so I can just pay it along with the labor fee when they do the replacement.

I believe Kevin and his wife are a local-to-Cave-Creek family. I hope you'll consider supporting this great business. Like I said, I was already a happy customer and I've been recommending them for a few years, but this is so above and beyond that going forward, I could not imagine using any other company.

PS freezing cold air is pouring out the vents and I am one happy camper in my own bed!

Having been in AZ for 7 years and have been burned by multiple HVAC companies until I found Scot and American Cooling and Heating.  They replaced 2 units on our home and saved us nearly $10K.  The also cover our businesses and are awesome.  Everybody should work with them!

Our A/C unit stopped producing cold air in July, when we needed it most. David, our technician, didn't find any electrical/mechanical problems and freon levels were good.  He determined that a safety switch cut off power to the compressor motor due to excessive condensation levels. He blew out the condenser line and performed a 20 point inspection of our system at a nominal cost.  David did an excellent job of answering my questions.

About 2 weeks ago I had a problem with my rooftop air conditioning unit. I called Scottsdale Air and they send a technician out the following day. It was in the evening when I discovered the problem so there wasn't really an issue. The technicians Scott called me and let me know that he had arrived on scene and was going to go up on the roof and check out the problem. About 10 minutes later Scott told me that it was a circuit board and not the fan motor as I had thought. He said since I had an older unit he was going to make a call or to find the part go get it come back and fix it. About an hour later he called me and said everything was up and running and all good to go. Ive used Scottsdale Air before about seven years ago when they replaced both of the units on my elderly mother's house. Their price was lower than the other 3 beds I got. When they did that work I remember that everything that they did was designed to make our air conditioning system work a lot better. As a union plumber I recognize professionalism and pride and it's very prevalent in their workmanship. When my unit went on the fritz their name was the first one I thought of and I'm really glad I did. The units at my elderly mom's house have been working perfectly since the day that they were installed and since Scott fixed our unit it's been working perfectly. As a Tradesman myself I recognize professionalism and when Scott called to let me know the status of the job and how he was going to take care of it and that it was repaired was extremely impressive. When Mike had come out years ago to bid the two units that had to be replaced at my mom's house he was extremely personable and explained anything I didn't understand. I think Scottsdale Air is extremely easy to work with and very fair and their prices and I would recommend them to anyone.

Mr. Alejandro did a fantastic job installing our Mini split, he was very professional and communicated very well about the install and process! Would recommend him to anyone looking for professional install and great service!

I can't say enough about this company and the professionalism shown to me.  My a/c went out on the east side of the house and I have company coming next week and I was sure it was a goner.  To my relief these guys fixed the problem and I HAVE AIR ON THE EAST SIDE.  YEA.  

No kidding, I highly recommend this company and I intend to have them out if I ever need any air conditioning work done.  Tony was so professional and courteous and respectful.  

Do yourselves a favor and get this company to do your repairs.  Trust me, you will not regret it.

Decided to install a mist system so we could use our patio during the summer heat.  Researched various mist contractors and knew as soon as I met Craig that I would go with their company.  Their family business approach makes you feel comfortable and their knowledge and experience is evident.  In addition, their installation team were great.  They walk you through the installation and ask if you have any ideas or special needs.  Very friendly and professional.  We are now enjoying our mist system every evening during the summer heat.

Our air conditioner went out on a Friday evening before a three-day weekend. But, lucky for me and my family, Daniel from Preferred Air came out within an hour at 8:30 p.m. and got it fixed quickly and for a very reasonable price. Plus he was very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them.

I contacted Francisco about a project with a family I was working with to get their AC fixed.
Francisco was fast, courteous and VERY Knowledgeable. Francisco will not price gouge you and tells you EXACTLY want needs to be fixed. I will recommend him to anyone in my family and friends circle.

I would like to offer Rich Severns and his Wife my deepest thanks possible.  Rich came out, on his day off and repaired my Air Condition in minutes.  My Air Conditioning went out early this year and I pointed a finger at him for installing it incorrectly.  The issue had nothing to do with his work.  He came out and helped me even though the warranty had expired long ago.  The problem was a bad capacitor.  I was rude to him and his wife and I sincerely apologize for that.  This company, this man, has an outstanding reputation for a reason, because he is the best at what he does.  If you are looking for an HVAC person, look no further Rich is your guy!

Our heater was not blowing hot air so I called Bell Air Conditioning based on their rating. When the tech arrived he looked outside for about 10 minutes came back inside and said I might have a block in the refrigerant line. He informed me there's nothing he can do and proceeded to try and sell me a whole new system for $7,000. All this knowing how cold it's been and while I'm holding my 5 month old son. No REALISTIC solution provided. IM EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED WITH THE LACK OF SERVICE PROVIDED.

My daughter's AC started leaking and for 2 days, I was trying to find someone who is honest and knowledgeable. Finally, a family member told us about Michael, and we are so glad we called him. He was very knowledgeable, honest and kind. We can't thank him enough, and he is our guy from now on.

Parker & Son came out today to service the ac on my in laws house.  My wife was there to let them in and they did a service. After they did a service the tech began to explain that we needed some parts that would cost $2000.  Also tried to sell me a water pressure test.  This system is only 4 years old and under warranty and also was supplies and fitted by Parker and son. So if you want to replace some perfect working parts with new ones feel free to call me and you can fit them under warranty at your cost whenever you like. Up selling is part of the way these people work so get a second opinion whatever they try to sell you.  Stop being greedy and do a fair job.

Great honest business with great people working for them .They go the extra mile to do things right.

Thank you Bryan for helping us when our AC recently quick. We appreciate your expertise and walking through all the steps with us and answering all our questions.... Although buying a new AC wS not on our radar you made it a little less painful.  The installers were awesome and all of the employees of George Brazil were nothing but professional and extremely courteous!!
