I WOULD GIVE THEM NO STAR BUT THEY ARE MAKING ME PICK ONE.
They cancelled my first appointment.  We then made another appointment on a different date, the date they made was on a date I had another appointment.  I told them it would have to be in the afternoon because I had an appointment that morning and would not be home in the morning.  They said they would be by between 12pm (noon) and 2pm I said that would work.
Well, the date came and when I got home there was a message letting me know that they were in the neighborhood and would stop by that morning.  The lady that called said she know I was going to be gone that morning, but they would come by any way.  They did not cancel my 12pm to 2pm appointment.  Once again, I was home, and no one came.
I called and no one answered.  I left a message that I would not be interested in their services since they could not meet their appointment time and they knew I WAS NOT HOME IN THE MORNING.

These dudes are magic. I let my weeds get insanely out of control, called Valle Verde and Valentin came out to give a quote. The price was reasonable considering the personal jungle I was growing, (he did say to get some other quotes to compare, but when I tried the other companies I reached out to had communication issues, so I said screw it, let's go with Valle Verde) they setup to have a crew come by within a day. The crew decimated my weeds, finished up the yard nicely, and now it looks like a responsible adult lives here - fantastic.

Envision did an amazing job on our backyard ! With a two year old we wants our new built to have a clean backyard asap. Envision got it down in less then two days! Biggest customer satisfactory: the rock order was coming late so they had to leave but on they way out they saw the driver and turn around! It goes without saying we are more then happy and will be recommended them to everyone we know.

Always Green Turf Az is an excellent company. They did a great job with artificial lawn installation. Throughout the whole process they were great and communicated everything properly. Ryan who came for first inspection and estimate visit is a great guy. He walked us through the whole process and provided us the necessary detailed documents for approval.

Had our sprinkler line leaking everywhere, Nick ran all new schedule 40 and it works perfectly!

They did a great job and even came out on a Sunday. My irrigation system was a mess and they fixed it up pretty fast.

Excellent service and attention to detail. I would highly recommend Nature Home Landscaping because they are reliable and do great work. Their prices are very competitive and they did not do a sloppy job like other companies we have tried. They cleaned up our yard and went above and beyond what was expected. Great service from a great company.

Found them and initiated communication via Yelp.  Ryan was prompt to respond and was really helpful and patient with all of my questions.  After our new backyard landscaping went in we hired to them spray pre/post emergent and they're scheduled to come back out for warranty spray (we had a bad case of spurge!)

Ryan and his staff are customer focused and a pleasure to work with.  They're communication is excellent and they are really accommodating with giving us a on our way call so we can bring the dogs in the house.

We couldn't be more pleased with choosing Custom Weed and Pest.

Called them out for weed removal in my front yard. They came out quickly and did an excellent job for a good price.

Thank you Sam and Joanna for your excellent attention to our first time service today.  We appreciated so much allowing the needed time and crew to take down a very large citrus tree (including stump grinding), in addition to trimming/shaping all the shrubs in the landscaping, cleaning up weeds, pruning another large tree, and solving a number of irrigation issues.   All the yard waste was immense and great care was taken to clean up every bit of it. Each person on the crew worked hard and were great!    We were very relieved the work went so well and the results look fantastic!!

We had two palm trees removed today, at my parent's house. The crew was great, did an awesome job, and my parents are thrilled. That works for me !! Thank you Walter and co. !!

Greenheart did our front lawn in central Phoenix.  Overall it was a very positive experience, we love our yard and many of the best features were ideas direct from Mike.  We bid this out to several contractors over the course of 3 months, and only Mike came up with novel ideas that gave our yard real personality.  We've had a number of neighbors and passersby comment on how nice the yard looks.  Some pros and cons of the experience listed below.

Pros:
- Price was fair.  The quote was broken down in detail, which allowed us to easily evaluate the Greenheart cost vs others.  While their price wasn't the lowest, that was mainly due to our desire to include a paver walkway, some treewells, etc that other bidders hadn't included as options (all Mike's ideas).  
- They weren't pushy about adding anything, the choice was left to us for what we wanted to include/exclude.  Low pressure.
- Mike was very attentive during the design process.  He went and looked at plants with us and had a real passion for the work.
- They provided us with an initial sketch with the bid and a more detailed drawing at the beginning of the project.  This helped with alignment on what the yard was going to look like and what was expected.
- The crew was very respectful and clean when doing the work.

Cons:
- Communication wasn't very strong once the project got started.  There were a number of occasions where I felt like I was relaying info between Irene, Mike, the foreman, and back again.  I felt like I had to be present to make sure the yard was done according to what we wanted/expected.
- The project closeout was poor.  While the main body of work was done quickly, there were a handful of unresolved items that I had to email and text about for a few weeks before they came back to fix them.
- The treatment for the areas that went from grass to rock have a lot of grass coming back up.  This was a concern I expressed at the onset of the project, but I am still spraying Roundup frequently.  I expected to have to continuously treat the rock areas to prevent the growth of grass, but not so soon after the work was completed (grass started popping up in areas about a week after the job and continues to appear).

Mike and his team from Turf Monsters were fantastic throughout our whole project. Always on time, professional, and a pleasure to work with. During the project I had a couple questions about and Mike always responded promptly and clarified everything instantly. The quality of work, time for completion and price were very good. Mike & his team were also very flexible as we progressed through the project and different ideas came up. I met with several other companies and none of them could compare to TM. Whether you have your own design in mind or would like an expert's idea, Turf Monsters is the way to go. Thanks Mike!

Six stars if I could!  Ortiz has exceeded our expectations in several complex projects. Our overgrown grapefruit tree was pruned perfectly. TONS of Arizona red gravel was hauled to a neighbor's yard, and a beautifully paved patio was installed in its place. I am impressed by the diligence each worker shows, and the quality of workmanship is unbeatable. My strongest recommendation to Ortiz!!

We had Green Valley remove a tree and stump that was causing some issues with our block wall and lawn. They did a great job! Very pleased with the worked they did.

All I wanted was for them to cut the weeds in my yard.
They forgot to cut the weeds in the alley which is part of my property actually we own at the middle of the alley in my lot. They treated me with a generally snarky attitude and a giant weed that I couldn't see they left in the alley. They actually did a terrible job.

Very reliable, got here in time and did a good and quick job. Would definitely recommend

Hector and his Dad, Manuel are the best. On time, friendly and always come back to my house for little things like changing the timers on the landscape lights. Highly, highly recommend them.
