Best Handymans in Phoenix, AZ

A wide variety of great handyman services are available from Response Crew. I found their handymen to be highly capable, flexible, experienced, friendly, and their office staff have great customer service.

I've used their services probably a dozen times in every situation that calls for professional help: drywalling, electrical work, plumbing work, cabinetry in shelving work, and about a half dozen more types of handyman work. The prices are quite reasonable and they're very clear up front with their contracts and their hourly prices. They have a minimum cost which includes a couple hours of work and then they give you a fixed price per hour for any work that goes beyond the estimated hours / additional work.

They're really good at texting too- as soon as you book them, a text appears with the schedule date and time and when they're on their way they send the picture of the handyman that's going to appear at your front door. I highly recommend these guys for any handyman work in the Scottsdale/ Phoenix metro area.

Kyle, fixed an old kitchen cabinet drawer that I had not been able to find parts for.  That repair saved one hundreds of dollars on replacing the whole cabinet. While he was here I was having some doors replaced and one of the doors was not opening right so he made that work to. Thank you for being so detailed in your work. You will be glad you called Kyle. We recommend him highly!

I'm preparing for the holidays and had a number of small projects around the house that needed attention.  Jose assembled a queen bed, a rolling shelf, replaced faucet and corroded values, a charcoal grill, and showed me why I didn't need repair to the fuse box latch. :-)  

Great customer service.  He's delightful.

Reached out to Russ to take a look at our outdoor grill. He was communicative about time and efficient and friendly. Got the burners to blast again- and did some more thorough cleaning. Works like a charm- let the BBQ season begin ( if Karl ever let's up...)

I had Gary do a few small items for me. Install doggie door, move exterior outlet, install a ceiling box for fan and replace a recessed light.
Gary was quick with scheduling.  Completed the work in perfect form and was very fair in his pricing.  It took him about 4 hours to complete all the items. It was very clear he was experienced and completed the work like it was a routine activity for him.   We will use him in the future.

I really enjoyed working with Luis, he was polite, very competent, and communicates very well.  We had a scheduling issue but he kept me informed constantly on the impact.  We did reschedule but having someone communicate so well was excellent.  I will use him again without hesitation.

After putting off a few things after my move, I finally tracked down Michele and her team on Yelp. George arrived and was masked and ready to get to work. He hung some large mirrors and helped get our bunk beds put back together. He was efficient, totally helpful! If I had had things pulled more together on my end, he would have been able to finish more tasks! That never happens. I am so grateful for the help and hope I can get Michele's help again soon! Thank you!

Called for a repair, left 2 messages over 2 days and never received a call back and its been a week...

The guy showed up when he promised and did a great job! The cost was very reasonable and exactly what they quoted me. He even cleaned up the box and hauled off the old unit for us. Thanks.

Mark was a pleasure to work with.  Excellent work, great attitude and reasonably priced. Couldn't have asked for more.

Mr. Garcia worked very hard on the waterfall faucet for my tub.  It was a difficult job, and the faucet came without any diagrams. Part of the install really did need some explaining.  He did his best but I need to contact the company and ask one question for the job to be completed.
I am going to have him do several more jobs for me.

MIke finished my kitchen remodel by painting the backsplash and light boxes, totally updated my bathroom with new paint, hardware, toilet, and vanity/sink.
Excellent work... while he was at it I asked if he could look at fixing the grout in my guest bathroom shower. He did that also.
Very affordable, efficient, and all around excellent work and an individual.

Great service all around, answered the phone professionally and with energy! Scheduled the appointment and he was ON TIME a very rare thing with a lot of guys! He quoted me a price and it took him a little longer and didn't charge me extra (The tip was well deserved) He really seems to have attention to detail when it comes to everything and cleans up very well after himself. I have sent his number out to several of my co workers already because I know there will come a time that he will be needed for them! Highly recommend him for anything!

The renovations done to my home were butiful, Scott was profesional, efficient, and finished everything within the time frame we agreed. I would recommend AMS handyman service to anyone.

We had Dave handle a couple of projects around our house that we weren't willing to tackle. He communicated well before and during the projects, showed up on time and his rates were reasonable. The jobs were well done!

The plus side is that they are efficient most of the time with their appt taking and even send an email confirmation and keep good notes on the service calls. Bad side is, when there is an error, dealing with them is very difficult. I should say one person in particular...Patty. We have called them twice to repair two separate homes. The first one was a break in and asked them to secure the front door. They agreed to send someone that day even after hours. The guy called to say he was on the way and never showed up. We called the office next day and proceeded to have to fight to get a word in with Patty who was defensive and argumentative. I had to ask her to calm down. Fast forward to today. Dispatched another property with two jobs. Tenant madea  fuss about needing one job sooner so HC split the workorder into two and sent two separate vendors resulting in two service charges without getting permission. then we didn't get the confirmation for the change of appt day/time and therefore were not available to approve the work while vendor was on site. My client, the owner, called and conferenced me in with Patty because once again when questioned, she was defensive, argumentative and talking over us instead of listening. she automatically said It wasn't me I don't know what's going on. Well, then instead of arguing, try connecting us with the person who does! Very poor way to treat customers and she needs some training or to be GONE. This is the second unpleasant experience I've had with her. She put Shelly on the phone, who was able to listen, figure out what happened and we moved on. It was a simple 5 minute conversation instead of a 20 min unneccessary argument with Patty. I did convey that they should have gotten approval before splitting the work orders resulting in additional charges and not just let the tenatn dictate course of action. Shelly was very pleasant and knowledgable however because the first vendor no showed in a critical safety issue and the two unpleasant experiences with Patty, I would not use them again.
