Best Handymans in Phoenix, AZ

Two stars is to give credit to the technicians who arrived at home, they were knowledgeable and knew what they are doing.

But to list down few issues with this company, below can be few of my top picks

1. Tardiness:
When you want people to show up when they are supposed to, absolutely this is not the company.

2. Communication:
There is always some differences with what is communicated to main office and there technicians.

3. Lack of responsibility:
When you choose to convey your observations to the company they can blatantly say they will not like to serve you because of unforeseen occurrences.
So you cannot trust them to accept your honest feedback.

I will searching elsewhere and if you choose them in future even you might have to do the same.

We have been very pleased with all the work that we've had done through the Honest Handyman. Kyle is very knowledgeable, very prompt, and does very good work. He always calls us to let us know his exact ETA if he's coming from another job.
So far we've had some fluorescent lights installed in the garage and some exterior lights installed on the front of the house. He also has wall mounted some TV's and floating shelves. We will continue to use the Honest Handyman whenever possible. Thank you!

I'm preparing for the holidays and had a number of small projects around the house that needed attention.  Jose assembled a queen bed, a rolling shelf, replaced faucet and corroded values, a charcoal grill, and showed me why I didn't need repair to the fuse box latch. :-)  

Great customer service.  He's delightful.

Russ did a room addition to my house, this included interior and exterior doors, foundation, windows and interior finish carpentry work.  He worked hard to get the job done within my time frame.

Very pleased to have Gary come to my house and install my new dishwasher!  He was prompt and very easy going. Also fixed my door on the way out.  Very fair price too.  Highly recommend him.

I had a variety of things I needed done and Luis was really well rounded at being able to do everything I needed. He fixed my kitchen cabinets and installed new bathroom faucets at a very reasonable price. I was so happy with his work that I scheduled a follow up with him to fix some other things around my house.

George did a great job. Timely and efficient. Great company to assist with most any small project.

Had a last minute drywall patch needing completed. Michelle was quick to respond and even quicker to find a solution and fix with high quality work. Would absolutely recommend.

My dad was in assisted living for a temporary stay and I needed a rail installed in the shower quickly.  Stan and I set the entire thing up by texting (which I loved).  He came out the next day and was puntual, professional and efficient.  He charges a reasonable rate as well... would definately call him (or text) again.

Handyman responding promptly, quoted a price, scheduled a date and time, and everything went accordingly! Our front door was repaired. I appreciate that they able to accommodate my schedule to come out on Sunday morning. Definitely recommended!

AMS recommended by our plumber, as we needed some drywall repair and grout repair. Very happy with the work performed and price was fair. Person that did the work (John Surakus) also provided very helpful suggestions on professionals for other tasks that weren't typical handyman jobs.

Mr. Garcia came to my house ASAP. He  did a quick nice job cutting in pieces an old dishwasher which could not be removed in any other way. He worked carefully and quickly and cleaned up the work area. I will be using him again soon for some drywall repair, painting and plumbing work. I highly recommend you get a quote from him and try him on your next home repair.

I rarely feel compelled to write reviews, but I feel that others should know great Mike was. I live in a 1950's home where things are always falling apart. He helped me on a variety of projects including installing a new water heater, patching up walls, fixing my front door, balancing fans, and installing new locks on my front door. He did all these projects with great care and efficiency. I was impressed with how each project came out and how knowledgeable he was. He saved me money by fixing items I thought I would need to replace (like my front porch light fixture). And it's nice to find someone with a positive attitude and a sense of humor. Definitely having Mike come back.

We called a few guys (handymen) to get estimates for a fix it list we needed completed in order to sell our house. It was the buyers post inspection request list that we needed to fix up some things.

There were multiple things that I liked about THE Handyman! He promptly returned our call and came over to the house to go over the list. He didn't just ask for info over the phone but rather took the time to come and give an honest estimate in price and time. He was friendly and trustworthy. At no point did I feel as though I was getting overcharged.  

When it came time to do the repairs, he showed up on time, did quality work, was pleasent and easy to talk to. There were a few items he needed to get parts for. He took care of all the ordering and came back as planned and completed everything with ease.

Super Amazing!!!! I had hired someone to redo my shower and put in a new shower door. Not even half way through the guy went M.I.A. The amount of people that I had to call to try and get someone to put it in was insane I can't remember the number but I know it was over 20. No one wanted to touch it since they didn't do the shower.  Scott came out and was able to put the shower door in and it was a pain. I bought the worst door anyone could buy I think. The door looks amazing and if he didn't come to my rescue I think id still be using my other bathroom.

I hired AZ You Wish to install a mini blow up spa in my backyard. They arrived on time and ready to work. Super friendly, good suggestions, and highly skilled. This company went the extra mile and recommended a different vendor for a project he was not able to complete, which in my opinion speaks volumes to his integrity. This company will be my go to as we transition in to our new house in Estrella!

Would give 4.5 stars if I could.  Hired Handyman Connection to remodel our small bath.  They took out a tub and created a walk-in shower.  They also, retiled the entire bathroom, added new vanity w/mirror and install new sink and shower faucet.  Used different contractors for different parts of the job, which wasn't ideal, but worked out fine. Allen was great to work with on price, etc. Only complaint is the guy that did the tile work didn't speak English, so he was harder to communicate with.  Allen even had someone come back out and touched up my doors, which was fantastic!

Tom is a fantastic professional to work with and a gem to find in Anthem. I had a sliding door issue that many other handymen didn't think they could do, but Tom was able to fix the problem easily while charging a very reasonable price. On top of that, his professionalism is unmatched. He responds swiftly and politely as well as gave a specific time and window to when he would show up. I really appreciate working with Tom and will use his service any time in the future.
