Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

Just a few words to agree with everyone else. Leo came over and was a very professional air conditioning tech. Had a 6 month check on the a/c's done. While Leo was doing that, my neighbor said to get the start capacitors installed. I felt like a deer in the headlights. Leo explained what the capacitors did and I had him go ahead and install them. Leo is the best a/c tech that I have had come to my house. Outstanding representative for Larson Air. I will stay with them. Can't go wrong. Thanks Leo!

First of all, THANK YOU Yelp for great reviews.  We're THRILLED to have found this company!!!!

We were having problems with our water softener so I called around to see if anyone would service our GE unit. No one would, but when Tom answered the phone, he said they do not service GE but asked me what the problem was, saying maybe he could help me out!  What a pleasant surprise it was to hear someone say that!!  So to make the long story short, he came out the same day I called to assess our home (I had also asked about whole house RO system/ Filter system)  When he came out, he was very thorough and very attentive to our needs including our budget.  He said he usually doesn't stay very long, but since we've had quite awful experiences with other companies we had whole bunch of questions so he stayed over an hour just to go over everything and answer our questions.  And the whole time he was here, we did not feel pushed to buy anything from him.  It just felt like a neighbor coming over to explain few things out of goodness of his heart.   So we knew we wanted to go with AHW, but with our recent move, our budget was quite limited.  So I called to have just the RO system, (which Tom explained we do NOT need the whole house system- Very honest, if you ask me, to tell us to buy a cheaper smaller unit cuz more expensive one would be useless on our house!!)

Tom said they'd call us next morning at 8 am to set up a schedule since it was already past 6:30pm by the time he left our house.  And at 8 am, they called!!  WOW.  And another wow was ANGEL, the technician who called and said he can be at our house in 20 minutes!!  And he was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!  The RO system was bit bigger than we thought and the space under our sink was very tight.  So he moved the tank around to fit in and finally placed it in the middle, which was fine, but just aesthetically didn't look great since it was right in the middle.  So my husband asked him to move it again and he literally unscrewed the filters he had already placed, and took everything out and tried to fit the tank in the back the way we wanted.  After few wrestles, he did place it the way we wanted and he was totally cool about it.   He literally seemed happy that we were happy.  And he was very very thorough as well.  He rechecked everything as much as he can, up to the very last minute he was about to leave.  And he kept asking if we had any questions or concerns.  He said he had about 5 appointments to get to but never once we felt he was in a hurry or rushed.  He stayed to make sure we were happy with his service, which we were.  

We can't wait to save up money to have the softener installed by them!  (Oh, which was the very problem I called them to begin with, and Tom explained everything and said it was still working but not to its fullest so we could still use it until we decide to get a replacement)  What company does that???  Being so honest to tell their customers we don't need to buy their product right away?  Other three companies I called told us that our unit is Junk and that we need to replace it right away even without taking a look.    It was like a breath of fresh air with AHW.  Wow. That's all I've got to say with AHW.  WOW.  Great job, you guys, Tom and Angel!!  We'll be calling you guys again!  THANKS!!!!

I can't say that I've ever worked with a more kind, honest and hardworking company. We filed a claim through Fidelity for our AC when it stopped working. Unfortunately, this happened during COVID, and everything is in shortage status or delayed. Tim worked with Fidelity to get us expedited on the process. Tori did an amazing job at keeping us updated throughout the waiting period. Mike (owner) called us to check in on things as well.  I truly believe that we would still be forced out of living in our home if this company wasn't involved in the process.  They originally replaced a compressor for us, and then we found out that the coil and condenser needed replaced as well (1997 unit). They got the order into Fidelity, and then came back and replaced the entire unit. The amount of hours and attention they put into this project were amazing. Every person we dealt with was top notch, and we would absolutely recommend using them in the future. Thank you for saving our sanity and getting us back to comfort!

My wife's friend recommended them to us and we couldn't be happier. Our AC went down in the month of June, a triple digit month here in Phoenix. Jeremy G. showed up and checked out the situation. Once he figured out what was wrong he explained everything to us in language that we could understand. We were quoted a fair price to repair. Once he was done he explained everything that he did, answered all of our questions and asked if we had any other concerns. A true Professional. Thanks Jeremy. A week later something tripped the breaker & the AC was down again. My wife called and was told someone would be out in the morning. An hour later Mike called and said he was on his way. A pleasant surprise since we weren't expecting someone until the next day. Mike arrived, figured out the problem, fixed the situation at no charge and explained everything to us. I will highly recommend these guys to all my friends and anyone who needs AC work.

Had a problem with the AC in the addition to my home where a guest was staying. Called Johnny's and was able to schedule a time for service on a Sunday.
Repairman showed up and fixed the problem promptly. Gave status report on the unit and the charge was reasonable. Couldn't ask for more on a weekend urgent situation!
Will definitely us Johnny's again!

Ok, I just purchased a home, shortly after my AC united pooped out. I had called 3 other people and then called Arizona Air Experts. I spoke to Misty in the office she was super warm and professional she scheduled my appointment for Caleb to come out. As soon as I spoke to him I knew they were the company I wanted to replace my old unit. Misty would always keep me posted on when and what was going on. She is on it and lets you know whats going on before you have time to even realize. When I met Caleb the owner, I knew he was confident and knowledgeable and just knew what was up. I hired him to replace my unit. Him and his crew were great. Even his crew was warm and professional I loved them. After they got the job done, Caleb explained things to me about my new unit and told me if I had any questions or concerns to call them. I know for a fact I picked the right people to do this job and to do business with. How often can you say that? So, if you want a company with integrity and professionalism that is unparalleled, look no further, these are the people. I am telling my neighbors about them and anyone else asking or looking for AC/Heating company. They are a phenomenal company!!!!!!!!!!!

I requested quotes from several companies. Cool zone was the first to respond and had the soonest availability. I was told a tech would be to my house between 3-5pm the same day I requested the quote. I was delighted at 1:30pm when I got a call saying the tech could make it earlier. It was nearly 90 degrees inside my house when Ryan arrived. He got right to work and had the problem solved and repair completed before 3pm! He stuck around and chatted for a little while to make sure that the temp was dropping in my house. He was very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend cool zone to anyone needing AC repairs!

Technician was great! He repaired my AC unit swiftly, even went  the extra mile to make a return visit later that evening  when the temperatures  the house was not holding. He ever contacted me the next morning  to assure my AC  system was working perfectly.

Gave me an estimated quote without knowing exactly what I needed and didn't go over. Gabriel scheduled with me right away. He came out, hooked everything up and helped me get going with what I needed. Gabriel was quick, efficient, left the area clean, showed up on time  and was definitely affordable. I would definitely refer them to my friends and family

My one AC unit quit working earlier in September, so I called the Dukes of Air for a service call on Friday, they promptly came out on Saturday to look at the problem. My house is 13 years old and it has the original builder installed R22 AC units so I knew they were old and they would likely need to be replaced. The service technician told me there was a leak in the one unit not working and it likely was in the attic. I realized it wasn't worth fixing the old unit so I told him for them to give me a quote on a new system. On Monday morning Robert came out to give me a quote on a new system. He spent some time looking at the existing systems and then working up a quote with 3 different options. He then presented me with my options, all with a very thorough explanation of all three options. I went ahead and signed a quote to get 2 new Trane XR16 systems from the Dukes of Air. Robert promptly gave me an install date, which was over a week out but that was the first appt available. On the install date, the Dukes of Air were at my house early in the morning to start the install. They had both new systems installed and my AC was working by 1 pm that day. The whole process was smooth and everything the Dukes told me they would do they did do. I am a totally satisfied customer with the Dukes of Air and the 2 new Trane systems they installed. I have had the Dukes come out in the past and repair my systems and they did great work on that as well. When you are spending a lot of money on 2 new AC systems you have to choose wisely and I can't think of a better company to spend your money with for your AC needs. They are a family owned business and do great work. Thanks, John and company !!

David came out today, on the same day we contacted him, on a Saturday, and fixed our issue (diagnosed and fixed I should say, as we had one a/c unit that was only sort of working, but we were not completely sure it was a problem).  He was a very nice guy and we are already enjoying our markedly cooler house.  We will definitely use him again!

These guys were great! I called at 11am in late July when it's 111 degrees and they had someone out to us by 1pm. Bill was super nice, knowledgeable, honest and friendly. I plan on only using Alan's Air going forward. Would highly recommend.

2014- We had the energy audit done with a different company and when they quote their price for the repairs we started shopping around. We had more than a half dozen companies come review the audit and our house and decided to go with ideal energy. They did a fantastic job with everything up front. Alex and Chris were always professional and timely and we were promised that everything would be perfect when they were done. After the ac replacement and hvac repairs were completed was when the difficulty started. They were slow to respond to balancing the air flow around the house and replacing our gable vent (that they bent when they removed it) It was all eventually fixed but it took a lot of follow up calls etc to get it right. I'll be shopping around when we buy our next house.

2016 UPDATE- Since our last review we have bought and moved into a new (to us) home that was older and in need of a lot of help. Alex and his team came in before closing and gave us a great idea as to what we were looking at and how we could phase the work, as it was a big project. We had a few others come in for estimates and decided to stay with IE because they seemed like the most knowledgeable at the the best price. We got started on the first phase and everything went very smoothly. His team is courteous and professional. When we r ready for the next phase they will be our first call.
2017- now we needed a new unit, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was right, for the actual u it to the instal and service. I recommend them every chance I get.

Doug at Desert Comfort answered on New Year's Eve, was able to come quickly AND get our heat on within a couple hours!
I appreciate the work ethic and will definitely call again!

Once again, the team at ProSkill exceeded my expectations!  We had a last minute plumbing emergency at our house and called as soon as they opened.  Jeff was dispatched to our house and arrived within 45 minutes of my call.  He diagnosed the problem, explained it to us (in words even I could understand lol!), and then took care of it calmly and efficiently.

The technician was top notch.  In this day and age you get so many excuses for poor service.  I get tired of being told by a company we have issues due to the pandemic.  Rising Sun Air is old school.  They are honest on time and excellent at what they do.  I for sure will call them the next time I have issues with my AC.

So impressed at the responsiveness & reliable work from Sure Temp ! Keith has answered my phone calls on several occasions to help with my parents house & given free advice ! I can't express how much it helps to have an honest , caring company like this to resolve their issue so quickly!
