Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

This was my first service from Larson.  They were on time with my appointment and their Service Repairman was professional and extremely courteous.  He performed a maintenance and was extremely thorough.  I'd purchased a maintenance plan and will use them in the future as well as recommended their services to those II know.

Had a great experience with them helping us with our AC issues in the hot summer. They keep you updated along the way, our technician went out of his way to go pick up parts, also the office is extremely helpful, communicated with you, the technician and the overall project. I would definitely recommend this company due to their professionalism and quality work.

Nice to know there are people out there in the business world with the ethics of Mike. Very much appreciated his honesty...as well as his overall knowledge in terms of his work. HIGHLY recommend to anyone who has the I'm leery about hiring contractors...this guy is as good as they come.

Most honest HVAC guy you'll find.  I'll be using him again for maintenance/repair of my AC unit.  Responded fast, super nice guy, responsive and VERY fair.

There seem to be some pretty scathing reviews on this company but my experience was excellent.  Brandon explained the condition of my system and said there were a couple of parts that should be replaced in the next couple of years.  No pressure to sell me more parts or service.  He spend quite a bit of time with me on the phone.  This guy seems like someone you can really trust to give you good advice.  Not wanting a breakdown in the middle of a heat wave, I opted to replace the parts now.  Brandon was great!  I did not have any scheduling problems and will be using this company again.

This business does not want to communicate via Yelp. It wasn't a good fit I guess? Contacted this business for an HVAC service quote at my remodel. In the screenshot you can see I replied with the requested information and a wide open schedule.

Technician was great! He repaired my AC unit swiftly, even went  the extra mile to make a return visit later that evening  when the temperatures  the house was not holding. He ever contacted me the next morning  to assure my AC  system was working perfectly.

I'm so very happy with this company! They arrived on time and immediately went up on the roof to examine my AC unit. The good news was there was nothing wrong and instead of telling me stories they admitted the truth! They told me what to look out for if I ever heard the noise again and how much it would cost to replace the motor. The price seemed very reasonable. I will return to them for all my AC and heating needs

Totally lucked out! At 1:15AM discovered that AC drain had backed up and water was leaking from new AC unit onto new hardwood floor. Called two 24 hour emergency services and got the scheduling run around, could give even an approximate ETA.  Third call was to Biltmore and owner ( David ) answered the phone and was at my house within 20 min.

He took care of immediate leaking issue but in process we discovered that prior AC install company had set the drain spout at ground surface level and as such water couldn't exit the drip pipe and as such backed up into house.

As it was now after 2AM we decided to address the underlying issue the following morning, which David did. Not only is he a nice guy and very professional, he was shockingly reasonable, so much so that I added extra to his bill, which he was hesitant to accept.  That's a first class guy and first class service.  I'll have him do my future service check ups going forward.

Can't say enough about this great company! Had to replace our A/C last week and their only concern was making sure we had enough information to make a decision we could feel good about with a system that met our needs. Infinitely patient answering a ton of questions; every person we interacted with was very knowledgeable about the systems and they never tried to 'steer' us in any particular direction. SO unlike any other company we've tried to work with. I'm also really grateful with the way they took care of a friend I referred to them, she was really pleased. I'm so glad we chose them, special shout out to Nicole and Kris, they both went above and beyond - thank you!

Michael D. is amazing and assisted with my wiring problem ASAP. Others were taking much longer and were quoting super high prices just to diagnose and not even fix the problem. I was trying to setup a smart thermostat in my home, and he immediately knew what the problem was and how to solve it regarding c-wire. He was very knowledgeable and professional, if I have any further future needs or issues, I would not hesitate in contacting cave creek cooling company again. HIGHLY recommend.

This is the best AC maintenance and repair company I have dealt with. They are prompt, knowledgeable and ethical. They will not upsell you thing that you don't need. I manage a couple of rental units and I recommend them to all the yelp community.

I would like to start off on saying that our overall experience with Ideal Energy was phenomenal! It's very hard to say that in this day and age but it's true.

Quote Process...
To start off, our first contact with the company was for an energy audit. We had planned to get a quote (winter project) for updated ducts and insulation for a 1983 house that had the original swamp cooler duct work and possibly the same insulation. I had an appointment scheduled with Wes for 8am. On the appointment day, I received the on my way call from him 30 min prior to arriving which was great and he was on-time. During his visit, he took his time, explained everything to us and happily answered all of our questions and offered recommendations on what to do even if we do not go with them or if we waited until winter when I had planned to do it. The day before, our AC unit had issues but we had another company out to fix that problem. Long story short, AC unit ended up needed to be replaced while we were waiting on the proposal from Wes. I texted Wes to add a AC unit onto the bid, he called me up and gave a few options and gave us 2 quotes. The quotes that were sent to us had write-ups for each picture that was taken during the audit (very detailed).  We ended up accepting one of the quotes for all the work (AC, duct work and insulation) and a time slot had opened up for us 4 days later. Alex (Owner) stopped by on Monday to get a few measurements and offered us a portable AC unit to get us by thru the whole process, which we gladly accepted.

Installation Process Day 1 (Tuesday)...
I was told Chris (Lead) would be doing the AC install and would be there at 5am to start removing the unit. Chris called to give me the on my way call and was there on-time as well. The rest of the workers (Marty and Ernesto) came by about an hour later as scheduled to start removing the duct work. They were very considerate, as I told them the family was getting ready and if they could wait about 15 minutes, which they had no problem. Once all was clear, they got to work, taped up the house, laid tarps and sheets everywhere to make the clean-up process easier. All workers busted their butts all day without even taking a lunch. After the 1st day, they got the AC up and running, got half the house going with AC (much better than it was when it was actually working), added 6 new registers and cleaned up everything.

Day 2 (Wednesday)...Workers got to the house very early and continued working hard. Once again, they waited until the family was done getting ready for work and school. This time Tony (Lead) was there along with Marty and Ernesto. They kept us updated on what was going on and what was expected of them to be completed by end of day. By end of day 2, the AC, all duct work was completed and old register holes were drywalled up. Once again, they cleaned everything up as if they weren't even in the house.

Day 3 (Thursday)...Tony, Marty and Andrew got there early once again and was hard at work. This ended up being only a half day of work. All registers were sealed, drywall was now all patched up, return vent upgraded and all the new insulation added. To top everything off, we had to have our pup at the house and she is a little crazy around strangers but she really warmed up to them being in the house after they took their time to let her sniff them out.  After everything was said and done, I received a call from Alex on how everything went and if we had any questions.

Summary...
We were so excited with how we were treated as person throughout this whole process. Not one worker showed disgust or any negativity with all the questions (there was many) that we asked during the 3 day process and even took their time to explain technical stuff very easy for us to understand. A week and half later our house is still freezing cold and it's amazing that the thermostat is set at a higher temp then it was before.

I could not recommend this company more. My techs name was Fidel and he was very helpful considerate and took my call in the evening on a Saturday for an emergency. Not only was he able to help me on Sunday but he was actually early so fantastic company to work with!

After 3 attempts to validate the surprising amount of positive reviews, I am having a hard time even giving them a single star. If you have unlimited disposable income, and enjoy wasting money, call these guys. We haven't even seen any work they've completed recently, because their bids have been anywhere from 20% to 10x more than their competitors, not an exaggeration. They just tried charging us more to vacuum a coolant line on a mini split, than the unit is worth, brand new. This was the third and final strike against them on us. We will not consider them at all in future, as the company that used to operate successfully in this area under that name, apparently no longer exists. Do yourself a favor, if it's an AC issue, call Desert Chill, great quality work, fair prices, no shenanigans. If you have a plumbing problem, there are literally a dozen local options, that won't case your place upon arrival and adjust their price on the fly...

This was my third interaction with Sure Temp and each time, they've been great. Very responsive, reasonably priced and most importantly, they've earned my trust. No selling pressure, good advice and they talk through the issue completely. I've got a couple of 16 year old units and they honestly discuss the cost benefits of repair vs. replace without ridiculous mark up on parts to make replacing the units the obvious option when it doesn't need to be. This is a field with a lot bad players in it but there are some good ones out there. Keith is definitely one of the good ones and runs his business the right way. I highly recommend them.
