Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

These people know what they are doing! My a/c unit, although not old, was constantly breaking down..2 coils replaced in a three year period..and always in the summer (of course). The attic duct work was done by someone who really didn't care.. the airflow has always been uneven and when I mentioned that to previous a/c people, they just didn't seem motivated to figure it out. I was pretty frustrated. Called Larson and explained my situation. Josh and Flavio came the next day and inspected EVERYTHING; but better than that , they took pictures and explained what was going on. I decided to upgrade and put things right. And, wow, it was amazing. Josh, Flavio and Victor basically put it a whole new system over a two day period. They were terrific explaining as they progressed..very impressive work.I couldn't be happier. The new system is super efficient, really quiet and the air flow is totally balanced throughout the house.

We are a first time customer and have nothing but great things to say.
Walked out to garage on Sunday to a leaking water heater.  Found AHWA.  Called Tom Knapp.  He answered my call immediately, asked questions about current set-up and unit.
I had pricing within 15 minutes.
On Monday morning, I received a call from Angel (technician) @ 8:15 letting me know he was on the way.  Installation was swift and flawless.  Angel and Gerardo were extremely professional, respectful and knowledgeable.  
My unfortunate experience was turned around in less than 24 hours.  
AWHA has clearly mastered all levels of customer service - responsiveness, professionalism, knowledge, very fair and competitive pricing.
I'm happy I can help their 5-star rating continue.

Wow! Highly recommend this company.  We called them at 7:30, they were here by 8...fixed within 30 minutes!  Can't thank him enough for coming out on a Sunday night when no one else would!

I am SO thrilled I found this local company. I have absolutely found someone I will be using in the future that is quick, honest, and has good pricing. That being said, these are the reasons I feel that way:

1. I originally contacted them Fourth of July weekend when my ac stopped working. I explained the issue to them and they quickly told me what they thought it was and how I could troubleshoot it myself in order to save money. Their steps works and my ac was running great again. It was a five minute phone call and did not cost me a thing.

2. My heater has not worked in my house for literally ten years. I have called 3 of the large corporate ac companies throughout the last decade  to look at it. Each one of them told me in order for it to be fixed, I needed to get an entirely new unit. My ac is amazing (which in ac is the more important part honestly) and so we just dealt with the no heat. However, this winter we have a newborn and heat is now more important. I remembered this company from my July experience and my gut told me to just give them a call just to see if by chance they could fix it.

I called at 8am Friday and they were on my roof by 10:30am Friday. More importantly my heater was working by 10:38am Friday. I was floored!!

It was the same part that the other companies had told me was broken, but they knew how to quickly fix it and for only $80. I'm still shocked I went a DECADE without a heater when it was a five minute fix and $80 cost. I wish I had found them sooner.

The last way they showed me their honesty is due to something that happened when they were leaving. I paid the bill in cash and being so happy with their services I gave extra cash as aholiday thank you. He must not have heard me say there was a holiday tip and as  he was walking away he counted the cash and turned around to tell me that it was too much. It was cash. He could've not said a single thing. I know with confidence if I ever overpaid by accident in the future they would let me know. I don't believe other companies would do the same. I also don't feel they will ever push me to a new unit for their gain, unlike the THREE other companies that tried to do that.

If you are looking for an honest, fast,  good priced ac company, I cannot recommend them any higher. I truly hope this review helps someone decide to book them, as they deserve any new customers they can get from it.

I am very happy with the quality of service I received from this company.
I had a $6000 HVAC installed on my roof a couple of months ago. They showed up on time, were respectful, installed the unit in a timely manner, and had a very competitive price, (I got six bids for the job). After the initial installation, a quality control person came out and inspected the installers work. Then, six weeks or so later they came back to do a another maintenance on the unit. Nice job Hays!

It's very refreshing to met a honest AC repair company.  I have used other AC companies in the past due to free or extremely cheap AC system inspection the repairman always turn into salesman. Celeb was straightforward and found part that was starting to weaken but did not pressure to replace it.

Dave came by the evening I called to give an estimate on a new unit. Of four estimates, his was the lowest. I don't usually go with the lowest, but I checked him out with BBB and Contractors and besides he's in my neighborhood. He and his crew did a great job, quick and clean. He also added dampers, moved the air handler up and over for easier filter access and sealed some areas that my previous AC guys had created. At no extra charge. Now all areas of the house are comfy and quiet. Great guys!

I am so blown away by the service we received from Arctic Fox, Heath is amazing!  We were so impressed with how fast he was able to diagnose and fix our ac...and in July!  Only waiting a few hours was a complete blessing in the middle of summer.  We are so thankful to Heath and will be only calling Arctic Fox from now on!

My mom's AC/heater was acting up, blowing smoke all up in her home and Dave from Gladiate Air flew in to the rescue!!! Big thanks to Dave's wife for setting up the same day service!!

When Dave arrived and turned the on the heater, the smoke decided not to rear it's dark cloud, but instead, it stopped working. Dave found the problem & fixed the broken wiring in no time and quoted me with a reasonable price! He was very professional and explained everything to me every step of the way. He's an expert in his field and provided excellent service!

Hopefully my mom won't have much more AC/heating issues, but if she does, I trust Dave and Gladiate Air for all of our AC/heating problems! Thank you Dave, you're a life saver!!!

Professional, efficient, honest!!!!

I had someone come by when my AC spontaneously stopped working, ended up paying $300 with no resolve and was told my compressor needed to be replaced! Tons of scam artists in this business!!

I called these guys in hopes of getting some resolve after reading the amaZing reviews, Dustin showed up sooner then the quoted time! He answered all of our questions, was very thorough and honest! He ended up telling us that our AC is in good working order despite what the prior AC guy told us (our compressor was going out, $3,000)! I'm so glad that these guys are around and provide such honest service!

Our house is finally cooling down and I couldn't be more happy! I will refer them to everyone I know!

Their receptionist was also very assuring on the phone and listened attentively to my frazzled comments! Thank you for that!

I called Biltmore mechanical to repair my AC unit that was not cooling, he came that same day in the late evening to diagnose my unit. He found a bad indoor motor and was able to replace it the next day. He was very professional and reasonable, I was very pleased with his response and pricing

Amazing service!!!  I HIGHLY recommend them for service!  I called at 630am with a broken AC and received service the same day!  Very professional!

My experience with CCC is the reason I am a YELP shareholder. 5 stars. Local. Small biz. When you get a combo like that you get an amazing experience. Mike was professional, on-time, clean, thorough and explained what was going on so I could understand it.

My experience...
1. Came out bc 2nd floor was not cooling down. Identified the problem, provided a quick fix while we waited for a part.
2. Literally 3 days later, the downstairs went out ! I called mike to see if he could stop by. He called me promptly, came by within hours and had the part to fix my downstairs. Problem solved !
3. He just came to finish the 2nd floor. Tough job getting to the part but he got it done and now our air is working great. BOTH up and down.

Forget home warranty companies. They send inferior tradesman to your house. Use YELP. 4-5 stars only. Have peace of mind the job will be done correctly.

I will be using CCC for all my air needs going forward. So happy I found Mike. Now I have my air guy !!!

After a power hit last week Sunday our A/C would not come back on after repeatedly trying, the A/C system is just 3 years old. Found Alan's Air on Yelp. Two techs, Alan & Drew showed up within promised time. They were both friendly and professional. While Drew was on the roof checking the unit Alan turned the air on... it started working. They went ahead and inspected the  system, got into the attic and made sure there was nothing obviously wrong. I worried because of the nightmare experience we had with Parker & Sons 3 years earlier not to mention the expense. Alan made himself available in case the air stopped working again. My husband determined from their conversations  that Alan was very knowledgeable and experienced. Alan's Air is now on my contacts list of my phone.

Wow, start to finish this company is impressive. They are reliable, on-time, and trustworthy. We had Ideal Energy come over and perform an energy audit on our house and we knew we had a ductwork/balance issue with our house. The quote for the work was clear and concise. The day of the project they finished on time and cleaned up everything. Ideal replaced all the ductwork in our house and the airflow issues are completely fixed. The best part was every employee that I interacted with was friendly and professional!

Call this company, you won't be disappointed!

I'm glad I found these guys, and you will be too.  There are 8 reviews hidden by the Yelp automated algorithm that you can read if you click on not recommended reviews and I'll save you the time- they are all 5 stars.  100% 5 stars out of 9 reviews, and now I'll add the 10th 5-star review.  

I hired these guys to convert my old drop-ceiling ductwork in my 8-year-old-store into the new open-ceiling style.  It's a big job.  Bottom line: they got the job done on time and on budget with no mistakes.  But there was so much more.  Sean is a master, he is the Jedi-Warrior of Duct Work.  He came in and looked at my system, pulled out his sorcerer's star chart, and started analyzing the flow.  Before these guys got to my store I could not get the AC to run below 82 degrees on a hot day.  There was a 5-ton unit and that should flow about 2000 cfm.  Sean quickly determined that with only 2 returns sized at 700 cfm each I was only inhaling about 1400 cfm.  My unit was asthmatic!  By adding a 3rd return now the unit can breath.  There were also some issues with the supply lines, again Sean and his chart showed that one of the trunks should have a maximum of 3 supplies on it but it had 6 which means it wasn't working properly either.  He removed and re-arranged some of the lines so they would be better spread out.  

Final result?  Not only do I have a beautiful aesthetic ceiling, but yesterday during nearly 110 degree weather it was 76 degrees in my store.  Will I save money?  I bet I will save so much money that this job might just pay for itself.  Thank you, once again Yelp helps me find a great company that restores my faith in humanity.  Desert Comfort Mechanical and Sean:  you guys are awesome!

Joseph Marcus was our technician for our water softener filters and Joseph not only did a thorough job, but actually came back a few days later to fix a problem that was not related to what he performed. I had a question about a possible future problem and he came that same day and did what needed to be done!!

I'm not into lengthy reviews, but I hired them for annual AC maintenance. Rising Sun Air communicated well, was on time, and did a great work in a quick amount of time. Would hire again.

AC went out yesterday.  Called Sure Temp this morning at 8:30 am and Kevin was out at the house by 1pm.  Diagnosed and fixed in less than 30 minutes. Very professional and extremely reasonable.  Would highly recommend them to anyone and plan to use in the future for any maintenance needs.
