Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

We purchased our air conditioning unit from Larson.  They were efficient and customer friendly!  We do an annual service and again the technician is always reliable and efficient.

I called American Home Water and Air this afternoon and within 2 hours, they were out to my home.  The problem I am having does not occur every time with my AC and of course it did not do it while he was here.  He checked everything and gave me suggestions and options.  Never once did he try and sell me on something really expensive.  I have heard horror stories about being upsold from other companies but am really happy to see how honest Bill was.  He did a great job educating me and was extremely nice.  I will definitely be back to use them in the future and will refer them to friends and family.

This is my second time using 1st Choice Mechanical. The first time was in November for an HVAC repair and this time for a refrigerator repair. I'm both cases their customer service has been outstanding and their techs have been timely, courteous, and knowledgeable. They were able to make necessary repairs in the timeframe quoted, and were easy to work with. I would gladly use them again in the future.

The owner (Phillip) and his crew installed a new air conditioner for me about four years ago. They did an excellent job then so when I decided to get a summer tune up on the unit this year I didn't hesitate to call them. The unit was working great so I was surprised when the tech came down from the roof to tell me that there was a problem. He called his boss to come out to take some pressure measurements. Turns out that we had a very small leak but it would be covered by the warranty. When Phillip called the manufacturer about replacing the tubing he convinced them to simply swap out the entire unit for a brand new one. I liked hearing that solution. There's more to the story but that is the long and short of it. I have found Phillip to be honest and informative. It is obvious that he knows the HVAC business. What I like the most about him is his willingness to go the extra mile to make sure that the job is done right. And Fran, who works the front desk, was great about scheduling and keeping me informed. I'm giving them 5 stars because they did a great job and they deserve it.

My AC went out on Saturday night in the middle of Summer. I called Johnny Sunday morning at 7:30 AM and he was there by 9:00 AM. They fixed my AC at a reasonable cost, gave great advice for caring for the AC and seemed to care more about fixing the AC than making a profit. You will also get a couple of good laughs during your conversation with Johnny. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

Frank came to fix my a/c- they were fast to come out and fix it right. He waited to make sure the problem was fixed, and waited for the air to turn down before leaving. He was great!

Great company. I called them on a Friday at 1:30 PM and the were able to get to my house at 6:30 PM. The blower motor on my second floor AC was out. They needed to get the part and were at my house by 11:00 on Saturday. Everything working great by 12:00. Great price, response, and service. I'm so very happy with this company! They arrived on time and immediately went up on the roof to examine my AC unit. The good news was there was nothing wrong and instead of telling me stories they admitted the truth! They told me what to look out for if I ever heard the noise again and how much it would cost to replace the motor. The price seemed very reasonable. I will return to them for all my AC and heating needs

Few days back our outdoor unit started making some strange noises and after looking at the Yelp reviews I called this company. John came by and explained me what needed to be done and gave me a quote. From talking to John I felt that his assessment was honest. His price was also good. Today he came by and did the needed job. Again, it was a pleasure dealing with him.

This whole experience with this company has been so different than my last experience (see my earlier Yelp review on a similar company).

Had a recent A/C failure on a rental property. Unlike other services, the call was actually answered on a Friday late afternoon - and not only answered, but David was able to come check out the A/C that same afternoon. By the time I made it to the property after the phone call (~30min), he was already on the roof and had the issue figured out: a low voltage circuit failure, which turned out to be caused by a failed relay. David replaced the relay and the A/C was back in business much to the delight of my tenants. Yes, a bad relay is a simpler fix than swapping a compressor, but still... everything was done in barely over an hour in the 110F June heat on a roasting hot roof covered in black shingle. David was also kind to indicate a few other potential issues with the unit, so I can know what to expect, but did not use that as an opportunity to sell what wasn't required at the moment. Very honest, professional, and trustworthy. I will definitely be using Biltmore Mech for future A/C work, and would highly recommend to others.

I will be recommending this company to everyone I know! Whether you need help or not, it's so hard to find honest people these days. Not only was this the first company I called, it was the only company. Sometimes you can hear the sincerity in people's voices. After speaking with Lisa over the phone and talking with Jimmy in person, I just knew that whatever the diagnosis was it would be legitimate. I was told it could be one of two things...the starter or the compressor. Both were on opposite ends of the spectrum as far as cost goes. I feel that with my lack of knowledge with AC units many other companies would have told me I needed a compressor. Luckily, my problem was the least severe of the two and it was fixed in no time. Reasonable price and excellent work! Thanks guys!

Michael and Chase were finished within 2 hours. Right to the point and had more equipment than I have ever seen by any HVAC company I have ever seen.

What a fantastic company!  I discovered one of my units not working on a Sunday.  I read several yelp reviews of AC companies, I chose Alan's Air to contact.  Alan promptly answered the phone and had one of his tech's, Phil, call me.  Phil was at my home quickly.  He was very friendly and informative.  He replaced my AC motor in less than an hour!  I felt that the price was very fair, and honest.  Phil was great!

I want to thank Ideal Energy for their integrity, and professionalism. We have used Ideal for any A/C, vent, duct , heater work that had come up in the last years. In the early spring, my husband had scheduled some work to be done and paid half of the total expected bill. Shortly my husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he lived only 90 days.
The team promptly refund our payment, when I decide to proceed with the work, I will absolutely use Ideal.

Fidel and crew, you guys are awesome. Called on the weekend in regards to a leak in the ceiling from the AC unit. Fidel was very responsive and at my place within the hour. I will never have to look for another plumber again! Proskill Plumbing is who I'm going with from now on. Travis came out, and skillfully fixed my problem. He did not try to upsell me, nor pressure me. Just did the job I called for and was done! What an experience! It's a surprise to have a service company that treats their customers like that, but Proskill does, so I would recommend them to any of my friends, family and neighbors.

Requested quotes from several companies to replace our aging units, Dominic was on time, called 30 minutes out, went over everything and answered all questions, even asked if there were any other questions before leaving. Wore mask, gloves and had shoe covers, very professional. No decision made yet we're still reviewing quotes, we have them narrowed from five to two. Thanks for taking the time.
