Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

I suspected we needed new AC but hoped we could survive another Arizona summer without one.  Nothing like a failure on a 105+ degree weekend to prove me wrong.  I asked three service providers to bid the job and what a difference Larson makes!  Bart in sales was thorough and patient, answering my questions and explaining everything clearly.  Tony in service was great, coming out right away to confirm the site conditions and ensuring our new unit will go in without a problem.  The installation happened today, within a week of the estimate and I couldn't be happier with the result.  Everything happened EXACTLY on time and EXACTLY on the price we were quoted.  The job was done quickly, cleanly and the crew were friendly and respectful.  In terms of price they were in the middle but the level of service and communication you can expect from Larson was far above the middle.  New AC isn't cheap but I think you get what you pay for.  In the case of Larson, I got more than I paid for - no question.  Highly recommend!

AHAW installed a water softener for me a few years ago. When i had an issue with my HVAC, installed by someone else, I called AHAW to fix. They were quick, fixed my unit (capacitor) inexpensively and offered their 2x a year maintenance service that was going to save me on the current repair and future repairs while making sure my system gets all the attention it needs going forward.  They are making it cheap and easy for my unit to last a long time.

So professional! I was able to schedule an service appointment online. On the day of service, I received two phone calls letting me know that they were understaffed and apologizing for the delay. I also got a text when the tech (Tim) was on his way. When he arrived, he did a great job explaining everything to me and asking questions. After the routine maintenance, he sat down with me and went over my options for my (very old) AC unit - breaking down the cost of repairs versus total replacement. He was friendly and efficient!

I needed help with installing a nest thermostat and wasn't sure if pit was compatible so I messaged a few companies and Phillip responded right away with a few questions and sent Mike out the next day! I was really impressed how quick and affordable it was. Mike was very friendly and knowledgeable and had my thermostat up in running in no time at all. Will definitely be using this service again for any of my A/C services. Thanks again!

If there were more stars to give this company would have each one! From the star of contacting them till the end of the service, Arizona Air Experts were excellent! The lady who helped me get an appointment the same day was sweet and has great customer service and great communication, she called every step of the way. Darrin was our technician and he was AWESOME. Very honest, friendly and helpful. He showed us every step of the way of what he was doing and how to help the performance of our AC unit. He was also very patient with us as we had to go through our home warranty for authorization for our reimbursement process. Great company and I will most definitely be using them for our maintenance on our AC and any plumbing service! Thank you so much, your company made our day!

The Arctic Fox team was very professional and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions, provided a very competitive bid, and did an excellent installation of two A/C and furnace units to replace old units. I highly recommend them.

I have been meaning to write a review for Dave for some time.  My air conditioner broke down after 7 years of operating with no issues after buying the home.  I had an archaic/obsolete model sitting on my roof that Dave would periodically maintain (My Mom gave me his contact info.).  On the rare occasion that Dave didn't just trouble shoot issues I was having over the phone for free, any charges that I received for his work were not significant.  

The AC broke down in the middle of August, and this was the first time that Dave had to do real work and he got it all done extremely fast.  The fortunate side of my bad luck was that the unit broke down on a Friday, and Dave had my system installed and running by Monday evening.  He made every effort to get the job done first thing in the morning, which is unheard of given the quick procurement of a model that fit in a confined working space, but unfortunately couldn't get the crane on time to have things back to normal on Monday morning.  Really minor hiccup that Dave actively communicated with me on.  

Given the expediency and efficiency that was delivered, I really feel that Dave over-delivered.  Of course a new AC unit and cost of labor for this kind of job isn't going to be cheap, but in hindsight and having scoped out comps from time to time since, he was VERY AFFORDABLE.  I am never going to go to anyone else for AC services.

Kalem was awesome...was very professional in handling our AC situation in a very timely manner and getting it solved even though it's currently hot as ****! It was something he had never seen in his 20 yrs of experience and he was determined to get it figured out! David was great!  Our a/c went out mid-day on a weekend and we didn't know who to call!  We knew it was going to be expensive whoever we called.  David had space and spent over 2 hours on our roof in the heat to make sure we knew what the problem was.  Our worst thoughts had come true but, he priced us out on a new unit, with exactly what we needed.  He also did we he could do to keep our current one working for now, but it is 40 years old.  Highly recommend.

I have a rental in Arizona but live in another state.  Bumble Bee Air Conditioning was one of three quotes that I got to replace the A/C unit.  All three trades responded immediately but the reasons I went with Bumble Bee Air Conditioning are:  1) their thoroughness in their quote 2) competitive pricing on the specific unit they quoted me, and 3) their friendliness and courteous correspondence.  They arranged an appointment with my tenant and everything went as smoothly as possible.  I highly recommend this company.  I believe them to be fair and reasonable beyond a doubt.  I don't give out many reviews but was happy to do this one.

Mike is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.   Took the time to explain the problem and discuss different solutions.  Highly recommend this company!

Bill came out to my home today to install new Nest thermostats.  He was extremely knowledgeable and completed the work quickly.  Very impressed and I would highly recommend them!

Update to last review -
After the energy audit was conducted, some serious issues were identified. It was determined that for all intents and purposes, I might as well have had a 14 hole in my wall, just pumping cool air to the street.  I was provided with a full report and a very reasonable quote to bring all of my insulation and ducting up to standards.  I was also given a reasonable quote for upgrading my pool pump to a more efficient model.  Long story short, when the work was all done, I compared the previous month's bill to the current month.  The savings was, well...take a look.  
August billing cycle:  $467
September billing cycle: $297
And I haven't even had the pump replaced...yet!  
Also to note, they helped me get all of the available rebates that I qualified for with SRP.
I'll be calling Ideal Energy when I'm ready to upgrade the pool pump soon!

Update 02/08/2021: Greg and the GM reached out over the weekend and had Greg come out in the morning today to take a courtesy look at my work (I installed a sink over the weekend myself). They helped fix a tiny barely dripping nuisance cold valve supply line and ensured everything was done properly as spoiler alert: I am not a plumber. They also made things right with the sink. I will chalk this up to a very green technician needing some coaching rather than an overall bad business.

Still taking a star off for the initial encounter but the response warrants a 4 star rating. We could potentially do business in the future as long as experienced, seasoned techs come and do work here based on the service after the first experience.

I was just reminded of the invaluable issue 'trust' is when dealing with AC. Companies! Rising Sun Air has my complete trust. I was reminded once again just recently.

Was referred to them by my home warranty company and I was completely pleased with their response time, service technician, Tom, evaluation of the problem and remedy. Mybissue wasn't easily diagnosed and Tom went the  extra mile to check all  possibilities until it was solved. Will refer them to others.
