Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

These guys are awesome. I own a few businesses and as a business owner I can truly appreciate their customer service. Jamie is quick to respond through Yelp messaging (even when they are closed - thanks Jamie). They were able to give me an estimate on the spot (others I had to wait for days to get it) and their prices were reasonable. Colorado was very professional during the inspection and then again during the install. Our AC unit was working fine it was our ducting that was falling apart. After the install of the new ducting we were surprised at how cool the house was getting. A few weeks later our 2nd AC unit seems to be having some problems. So I didn't hesitate to call them back. I couldn't be more pleased with the staff and service received from American Home Water and Air. My AC went out late in the day and we wanted to replace our old (20 years) system for new. Mike came out the next day and explained the different options available, and we were able to purchase a high SEER unit at a good price. The installation team was extremely knowledgable, friendly, polite and courteous, answering all of my questions and providing a quick, professional install. I'm recommending this team to all my friends and am considering a water system now that I know I'll get the very best from AHW.

Our AC went out, in July, and the inside temperature of our home was in the high 80s.  We were in desperate need of a repair and saw the positive Yelp reviews for 1st Choice Mechanical.  I reached out and was able to get in touch with someone right away who scheduled an appointment for us.  Within a few minutes, I received a call back that they could get someone out within an hour which is a VERY pleasant surprise.  The technicians were extremely professional and knowledgeable.  Unfortunately, we did need a whole new system, but they were able to create a solution to kick start our existing unit and get some cool air flowing while we waited for the replacement.  I was extremely pleased with all aspects of their service and will absolutely be keeping their information close by for the future!

I contacted this company and Philip was able to come out the same day. After spending some time on the roof,he explained what the problem was. The technician I had used previously had apparently done the same repair incorrectly and when it didn't work,moved on to the replace parts until we solve it theory.
Philip declined the job,not wanting to have to be responsible if other errors had been made by the original tech. This made perfect sense to me.
I now understand air conditioning systems a little more, and if my situation changes,this will be the first company I contact.

My AC unit stopped working over the weekend and Johnny came out on Sunday, was there when he said he would be there and had it fixed quickly. He was very fair with what he charges and you don't feel like you were taken advantage of. Also gave me some additional tips that will help with cooling my house down better. Will continue to use him for all of my HVAC needs as well as recommend him family and friends.

If I could give 10 stars to Hays Plumbing I would! On an early Sunday morning, my water heater had sprung a leak. After calls to 3 other Plumbing Companies that listed 24/7 emergency services & no response, I found Hays Plumbing with high approval ratings listed on my community NextDoor app. On the first call, I was directed to a live person who took down my information & sent a representative out in 40. Chas was the service technician & I couldn't have asked for better service............he was personable, professional, knowledgeable, took the time to explain the problem & the solution & future options. A new water heater had to be installed. Although the price was a little more than I expected, I couldn't beat the prompt, excellent customer service. This was the easiest emergency I had ever dealt with on a weekend. THANK YOU Hays Plumbing & Chas Miller!!

I can't say enough good things about my recent experience with AZ air experts. We had been told by a previous air co. that we needed over $1500 -$3,000 worth of work done, but air experts came in and fixed the problem for $330. They were extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. They took the time to troubleshoot the problem and explain all of it in detail. It is so refreshing to find a company that is honest and straightforward. 5 stars to Cool Zone Air Conditioning and Heating! I attempted to install a new thermostat on Sunday and turned off the power like the directions said but  turned off to the AC, not the air handler and blew a fuse. My boyfriend found them on Yelp, have them a call and had David at my house within an hour and done in an hour, including the install of my new thermostat. David showed me how to program the new thermostat and didn't charge me an arm and a leg for quick service on a Sunday. Great service, Thank You!

The Arctic Fox team was very professional and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions, provided a very competitive bid, and did an excellent installation of two A/C and furnace units to replace old units. I highly recommend them.

The company that installed our air conditioners on our new home referred us to their preferred service provider.  I felt a little uneasy after speaking with someone at this preferred provider and checked out their reviews.  After reading review after review that was not complimentary I found Arizona Dukes of Air.  I called and when no one answered I left a voice mail.  I was pleasantly surprised when I received a return phone call back within a couple of minutes and an apology.  Tonya, told me that she get someone out to my house the same day and told me a couple of the probable issues with our units.  The preferred provider wasn't available for two days and had a less than desirable time slot.
John, the owner called me at the time I was told he would be available and said he'd be out to my house in 10 minutes.  He arrived, made a diagnosis, and got us back to refrigerated bliss.  John showed me the problem and explained the air conditioning system.  I really enjoyed talking with him, but it was cut short by my neighbor knocking on the door asking him to look at his system.  Before he left he gave my two year-old son magnets and honked his horn.  
I promised that if I received 5 star services, I would rate them with 5 stars and leave a review.  Arizona Dukes of Air fulfilled their part of the bargain.  And now I have too.

David was awesome! I called at 4:00p in a pinch with family in town and my AC was not cooling the house despite it running all day. David spent 2 hours fully investigating what the issue, beyond the obvious that it had frozen up. He found a small blockage in a part deep inside the unit, and was able to restore the unit's ability to cool the house. It's a 12 year old unit that has been rebuilt improperly and although the unit works, we are ultimately using David / Biltmore Mechanical to replace with an entirely new system. Great guy and great neighbor!

I contacted them after their business hours because my AC stopped working. They reached out via text and offered some temporary solutions to get through the night and came over the check the system first thing the next morning. I ended up replacing the entire system with them, too--they were transparent throughout the system and very efficient, and even fixed a problem with the dryer duct they happened to discover in the attic. I had some very basic questions I had to ask, and everyone I have interacted with were patient and helpful.

Super knowledgeable and Honest. Would highly recommend. Came out and diagnosed the problem when other companies couldn't.

We used Alan's Air when our A/C needed to be replaced and we couldn't be happier.  When our rental house A/C had a problem in mid-summer, they were there to repair it the same day. The owner, Alan, is honest and very easy to work with.  We won't call anyone else if we need a A/C company.

I always turn to Yelp for help! :)

Alex  really went out of his way to fix our two AC units!!!
He came after business hours, he fixed one; came back the next morning at 7am to fix the other...way before business hours!! He worked with our time and did not turn us down just because we couldn't be home during normal business hours.

Definitely recommend this business!!
