Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

I got two A/C units from Larson about 3 years ago. They have both worked perfectly and I have not had a single problem. Today I had maintenance done and everything was great with them, no issues. Evan did the maintenance and he was so nice and friendly. He always kept me updated on what he was doing and how things were looking. He went out of his way for me concerning changing the filters which are up high and we have difficulty changing ourselves. I've been extremely happy with everything that Larson Air Conditioning has done for us.

excellent service once again from AHWA.  Brad came out to my house to service three a/c units.   He also fixed a couple issues without additional charge.  According to Brad, that's part of the inspection process.  I really appreciate this company putting clients first.  When it comes time to replace my units, I will definitely contact them for the job.  Thank you AHWA!

Our AC in our new home started short cycling in the middle of a heat wave, and our home warranty company was unable to find anyone to come until 4-5 days later. We have a newborn baby at home, so it was imperative that we got it fixed immediately.

So I was on my own to find someone. Luckily 1st choice got right back to me in less than an hour and were here the next day. Tim and Brandon showed up ready to rock and roll and figured it out very quickly. After both AC's started blowing cold, Tim was adamant to come back the following day to check everything out and make sure all was well. These guys were so personable and solid, I wish every company operated the way they do.

I was even more impressed when I got the bill. I was shocked at how affordable they were as they could have easily charged me anything at that point to get my house cool again.

I can't say enough good things about Tim and 1st Choice. They work hard, and are just plain nice people who won't take advantage of you. My family and I are so grateful for getting us taken care of on such short notice.

A big name supply company recommended and conveniently processed my appointment for another HVAC service to come troubleshoot an issue with my AC unit.

I thought great that was easy ? Until I went home and began reading reviews about the referral. I immediately began to realize I was uncomfortable for taking this course of action and need to do my own homework.

I saw reviews on line and from different sites about Boldt and decided to go with them and cancel my other appointment with a Melvin.

Juan (Service Technician) arrived on time and I even received a prior heads up from the office regarding his ETA. Good business practice to start.

I explained to Juan the concerns I had. He did some testing and told me what was needed and recommended. No pressured pitch or selling of additional services or things I knew wasn't needed.

He quoted a fair and $ reasonable offer for services to be repaired and did them timely and proficiently.

I cannot express how happy I was with the final result and avoidance of the usual sales pitches I've heard by other companies.  

I highly recommended Boldt if your looking to have honest work at a fair and reasonable price without the hassle of service pitches and promotions that so-many large sized HVAC companies try to talk u into.

Fantastic service! Our air conditioning completely went out yesterday. We sent messages to a few AC companies. We heard back from Johnny almost immediately. This morning at 9am, we called and got right through. He tried to talk me through it, but it still wouldn't work. Johnny was at my house by 10:45am and after replacing a part in our HVAC, the AC was working again by 11:30! Fast service, very accessible and fairly priced. He is our AC technician from now on!

Wow!!!! I just had an install today of two new units. I can't say enough about the quality of salesmanship and installation we received. I would highly suggest Hays for any services that they offer. Their team is knowledgeable and cordial. They also came way under a price quote from a competitor and doubled the warranty. We also got a wifi thermostat was the hi-light of my husbands day!!!  Thanks Hays we are customers for life.

I would recommend this company to everyone! Caleb and Misty are awesome :-) Misty always called and kept me in the loop about our services and Caleb was always polite and very knowledgeable. Great family business! We had to wait for our new unit to be ordered and delivered but Caleb was nice enough to go back to his shop to see if he had portable ac units to make my family comfortable. So impressed with the level of professionalism and knowledge of the company and tech who came to my home for the tune up. I didn't have any particular issues that warranted any maintenance, but I had a ton of questions that were all confidently answered and left me assured. I did ultimately move forward with some preventative maintenance, but did not feel pressure to do so. I'll continue to go to Cool Zone in the future for all my A/C needs.

Simply the best AC/Heating company in the Valley. I had several quotes from different companies. Arctic Fox had the best price for the heat pump we were looking for. I signed the contract on a Monday and Tuesday afternoon the unit was up and running. The impeccable service, and quality craftsmanship we received was second to none. I'm impressed with this company and I have used them twice so far. Once to give me a quote on my AC and once to fix my heater. Both times they followed up quickly and tried to troubleshoot on the phone to save me the cost of an unneeded house call.

Both time i did have to have them come out, however I was impressed with the service detail and prices. I will continue to recommend them to friends.

Dukes of air? These guys came out twice. First excuse they used was they're ladder was too short couldn't get access to my ac unit . I rescheduled with them and they subsequently messed up the rescheduled time and date. I rescheduled again. They show up for the appointment and informed me they will not work so my ac because they are concerned they will break roof tiles? Folks call anyone else otherwise you're going to have an unsatisfactory experience with the Duke Boys!

Excellent response time and covid-safe service! Our heating system broke down during a cold spell. Thankfully a BumbleBee technician was able to come down within a couple of hours of us contacting them. He figured out what was wrong and had the problem resolved with new parts installed within the day!

Five Stars and more!  From first phone call to final billing, this experience was exceptional.  Alex and Elena were fantastic during the initial consult and home energy review.  They answered all of my many questions from efficiency to implementation.  Chris and his crew were prompt, professional, and efficient.  They even finished a day earlier than estimated and left my home exactly as they found it!  Ideal Energy has earned a lifetime customer from me for all of my HVAC and energy efficiency needs.  I could not give them a high enough recommendation!

I'm glad I found these guys, and you will be too.  There are 8 reviews hidden by the Yelp automated algorithm that you can read if you click on not recommended reviews and I'll save you the time- they are all 5 stars.  100% 5 stars out of 9 reviews, and now I'll add the 10th 5-star review.  

I hired these guys to convert my old drop-ceiling ductwork in my 8-year-old-store into the new open-ceiling style.  It's a big job.  Bottom line: they got the job done on time and on budget with no mistakes.  But there was so much more.  Sean is a master, he is the Jedi-Warrior of Duct Work.  He came in and looked at my system, pulled out his sorcerer's star chart, and started analyzing the flow.  Before these guys got to my store I could not get the AC to run below 82 degrees on a hot day.  There was a 5-ton unit and that should flow about 2000 cfm.  Sean quickly determined that with only 2 returns sized at 700 cfm each I was only inhaling about 1400 cfm.  My unit was asthmatic!  By adding a 3rd return now the unit can breath.  There were also some issues with the supply lines, again Sean and his chart showed that one of the trunks should have a maximum of 3 supplies on it but it had 6 which means it wasn't working properly either.  He removed and re-arranged some of the lines so they would be better spread out.  

Final result?  Not only do I have a beautiful aesthetic ceiling, but yesterday during nearly 110 degree weather it was 76 degrees in my store.  Will I save money?  I bet I will save so much money that this job might just pay for itself.  Thank you, once again Yelp helps me find a great company that restores my faith in humanity.  Desert Comfort Mechanical and Sean:  you guys are awesome!

Our AC stopped working late Monday night into Tuesday morning, with the weekly forecast predicting temps of 108 every day this week! Knowing that our existing and very old AC unit needed to be replaced, I started calling numerous places first thing on Tuesday morning, looking to see who would be able to install a new AC unit fast, and with the most reasonable price. I called Sure Temp, and they were able to send Chad over within an hour and a half to provide an estimate. My husband and I called several different places for estimates, some being $3-6K over Chad's estimate. Because of their professionalism, speedy response, and unbeatable prices, we chose to do business with Sure Temp.  Their next available install date was not until Friday, so they lent us a portable AC to hold us over, free of charge. Antonio and his crew arrived around 5am Friday morning to begin the install. They worked hard to get the job done, and the new unit was up and running before lunch. I cannot express enough how thankful I am to everyone at Sure Temp. Their customer service is out of this world, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of AC service during these brutal summer months. I will definitely be calling them for any future AC needs.
