Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

We need a new A/C unit and saw the great ratings from Larson's and decided to give them a call. Billy came out today to give us his recommendation and a quote. He was so honest and helpful. I shared the other 2 quotes I already received with him and he helped me compare the quotes apples to apples. He was very detailed and easy to understand. Billy really went above and beyond by doing more research on a unit another company was recommending to make sure it was good and he was so honest to tell us it was a good unit at a good price. Wow!

We ended up going with the company that provided us the lower quote for our new unit but I would still highly recommend calling Larson's for maintenance or to get a quote on a new unit.  It can be difficult to find an honest company with great service and they really seem to be just that.

We checked with several providers, leaning heavily toward those with great reviews.   The low-key, informative presentation by Tom was part of what sold us.  2 days later, a team of 3 installers came for a somewhat complicated job (we had no 'loop') and they all worked continually and capably for two hours.  Afterward they explained how the system works and we look forward to years of hassle-free soft water.  This is an impressive company.  If/when our old AC unit conks out, we know where to turn.
PS My Yelp ID indicates Chicago; it's where we live part of the year but we're in Scottsdale for 4-6 months a year as well.

So glad I found this company!  Our air conditioning went out this past Sunday and after getting the run around from several companies I found this company on Thumbtack. I contacted them on Monday evening after 5 pm. They responded to my inquiry on line within minutes and Mike was at my house in 20 minutes. He was very professional and friendly, not pushy at all. They are a family owned company that obviously takes pride in their work. I plan on referring them to everyone I know.

Wow ! We called on Monday , they came out on Tuesday and gave us a quote that beat everyone else out of the water.  We signed that day.  It' is now Friday ( the same week) at 1:00 pm and my new air-conditioning unit is on the house and has been cooling it house for 3 hours.   Now that is getting the job done !  Phil and Fran are an amazing team of making it happen so fast.  Then Mike and Juan came out this morning. Started at 7:30 and done by 11!  Great guys !   I can not say enough how how efficient and affordable this company is.  Thank you guys

We can't say enough great things about Johnny! We came home from a quick trip away in August and the house was at 93 at 10am already, and the air was not working...every Arizonan's worst nightmare! Johnny was here within an hour of calling him, and they had a diagnosis and new part installed within 2 hours of calling him! After they left, Johnny called us to check in, make sure it was running ok and asked to call him if there were any issues. We won't be using anyone else for any future HVAC needs. My AC died on Father's Day. I called Hays and they were quick to respond.

They called 30 minutes before they arrived so I wasn't sitting around waiting.

The tech was knowledgeable and courteous. He showed me why the unit stopped and then quoted me a price.  When he told me he didn't have the part on his truck I assumed it be another day without AC. Nope, the part was delivered to my home in less than 30 minutes.

Cannot give this local company enough compliments for its gold standards in customer service! They will go above and beyond for the customer. I have a rental property which needed an AC replacement, and needed prompt and reliable service. The tenant was not the most hospitable, but Randy, one of the co-owners of the company, was extremely professional in inspecting the property and getting back to me with his recommendations. Their pricing is extremely fair, but the communication and trustworthiness with their customers is what will always bring back repeat clients! So many businesses could learn from them! I requested quotes from several companies. Cool zone was the first to respond and had the soonest availability. I was told a tech would be to my house between 3-5pm the same day I requested the quote. I was delighted at 1:30pm when I got a call saying the tech could make it earlier. It was nearly 90 degrees inside my house when Ryan arrived. He got right to work and had the problem solved and repair completed before 3pm! He stuck around and chatted for a little while to make sure that the temp was dropping in my house. He was very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend cool zone to anyone needing AC repairs!

I was extremely satisfied with the service I received from Bumble Bee. My system was blowing cool, but not cold which isn't enough for July in Phoenix.

I previously used a different company for an annual service in the spring but was very dissatisfied with them, especially with all of the extra service plans and memberships clubs they were pushing on me for a system that in their own words was working correctly.

I decided to give Bumble Bee a try and the whole process was easy, quick, and affordable.I was able to get a hold of them immediately and they were able to come out and look at my system the next day. The technician was very knowledgeable, and was able to give me a very good explanation of the problem, what needed to be done, and why. It turned out my indoor coils were extremely dirty and simply needed a cleaning. Their pricing was very reasonable for this, and my system is back to blowing ice cold air. I've definitely found my AC company for any future needs!

After an inspection from another company told us we needed a new blower motor for our AC, we got quotes from many providers in the area. Alan's Air gave us the best quote so we knew right away they weren't up-charging. Even better, when they came out to install the new blower motor they discovered that we didn't actually need one at all, and did a simpler, much cheaper repair for us. They were friendly, honest, and did not try to up sell us- even when we were the ones requesting a new motor because of what the other company had told us. It's hard to find customer service like this nowadays. We will be sure to use them for all of our HVAC needs in the future.

Very professional and timely. Thorough and gave me several price options.  They prioritized my ac because mine had broken so they felt it was urgent.  The workers were very good at covering the floor and cleaning after they were done. I only wish they had spent time explaining my system and discussing the maintenance.

Wow, what a great company.  Let me save anyone looking for a new HVAC system the trouble of shopping around.  I recently purchased a new split Gas and AC system (5 Ton) 14 Seer from Desert Comfort Mechanical (DCM) and my experiences with Fadel and his entire team have been nothing short of exceptional.  Many HVAC providers promise you great customer support and service but DCM and the entire team don't just talk the talk but they walk the walk in every interaction providing exception value and service.  Even during the due diligence inspection they worked around my schedule to arrive at 6:00am so I could leave for work on time, It's refreshing to know that there are companies like DCM here in the PHX metro area that still know how to deliver exceptional service along with extraordinary value.  Well Done Fadel, please pass on my many thanks to your team and you for delivering a pain free experience.  You can be certain that you and your company (DCM) are the one and only I'll have on speed dial.

They were very busy but somehow managed to fit me into the schedule on the same day. Kevin showed up exactly on time and I told him what was happening and he went right to the condenser and showed me that it was fried (as in black). Wired burned right off it. He explained everything in detail to me and checked the Freon and all that stuff also. He had the part replaced within 15 minutes and my A/C finally worked again!. The price was excellent and the service was too. I will use them again.
