Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

These guys know their business and are very thorough in their approach. Two A/C units were replaced with some of our own modifications to the infrastructure. All work was done to our satisfaction are within time. I would recommend them to anyone doing a A/C replacement.

Great service and fair pricing. Had a water heater installed in a timely manner, from scheduling to install. Junior called the morning of and gave me a 2 hour window for install. He was very nice and professional. He answered all my questions. I would definitely use this company again and would recommend to others.

I found 1st Choice Mechanical on Yelp due to their great reviews. I was completely down and out after previously being scammed by a horrible company and happened upon 1st Choice. I spoke with Tori and she was so kind and caring and let me blab and cry about the horrible situation I was in. She said she would try and call her father Michael and asked if he would come on Saturday, a day they are normally closed. Immediately she called back and said he would be there. Michael showed up promptly and was so friendly and knowledgeable. I felt at ease and confident in his skill set. He was done within an hour. Having just moved here and being a first time home owner, I knew nothing. Now I know a great family owned company who I will go back with time and time again.

These people are awesome.  My A/C wasn't cooling the house and of course it is never hot or anything outside when this happens, right!? (only about 113!!!).  Well, I called around to a couple of places that I had researched on yelp, also with positive reviews, and both told me that they had no time or anyone available to come out same day, and I get it.  It's mid summer and the busiest time of year for HVAC repairs.

Well I gave Boldt a call.  The woman who answered the phone was very friendly and got someone out to my house within a couple of hours, same day.  Awesome.  Fearing the worst, I was worried it would cost a lot to fix because 1. I know nothing about these systems and 2. there's always a fear that since I know nothing, that people will take advantage of my ignorance and charge me for things I don't really need.  Well fear not.  Mike came out, was very thorough with his assessment.  He first suspected I needed more refrigerant...so I trusted his word, and told him to do what he needed to do.  Later he came back with the final diagnosis and it was far far less cost for the repair than I thought and he told me that he checked the refrigerant and everything was fine, so he didn't need to add any.

It's this kind of honesty that makes me appreciate a business like this.  He could have told me anything.  Like I'm going to get a ladder, climb on the roof to make sure, right?  So I paid a very fair price for the work, my AC was up and running in less than an hour from his arrival and now I sit, writing this review in a nicely cooled house.  Thanks guys, you all are awesome.  Keep up the good work!

We arrived in Scottsdale to find our air not working. It of course was on a Saturday in September the temp was 107. We came across Johnnys number online, they called us right back and were at our house within 30 min the job took 20 min. Extremely knowledgeable!!!

Called around yesterday trying to find someone short notice to analyze sewer pipes on an older home (1950's) we are purchasing in downtown Phoenix.  They had one of their professionals (Nick) call and explain the process.  He was able to to do the camera inspection the following day.  The house had three separate additions with 3 different types of sewer pipes.  He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the pipe dating back to the 50's and what had been done over the years.  Super impressed with his report back and professionalism overall.

Our air conditioning unit went out this summer, so we needed a brand new unit. After getting several quotes we chose to go with Arizona Air Experts, and we are glad we did. We spent lots of time researching air conditioning units and installers, and we feel we ended up with a great product for our needs, and also at a really great price.  Some other companies came and some sounded great and offered some white glove touches, but Arizona Air Experts also included pretty much all of the same things, but the cost for a great quality product (American Standard) was significantly less expensive. We ended up replacing two units because the cost was reasonable for both. Very happy with the service and care of the installers. Start to finish, it was a great experience.

The team at Cool Zone performed an AC inspection before I bought my new home. They identified a duct issue that would have cost me $4000; I was able to recoup it from the seller. Because of the inspection they performed, I had Cool Zone redo all of my duct work in the house. Dave was great and incredibly communicative. The work took a bit longer than planned, but it turned out great, the team took time to answer my questions, and they listened to my asks to move ducts around so I could raise ceilings. I'll likely need a new AC unit soon and I plan to go back to Cool Zone because of their quality work and professionalism. I definitely recommend them to others!

We had a packrat take up residence in our 8-year old Mitsubishi ductless mini-split HVAC unit to our bedroom. WTF??? Called the original contractor, their estimate for replacement was astronomical. My wife called her BFF for a referral, and she recommended Arctic Fox. Tim contacted us immediately, offered to replace the system for a reasonable cost, and was there two days later with everything ready to go. Tim and Keith spent literally the entire day installing the new system, including careful sealing of the required new access hole, making sure all wiring and connectors were weather (and rodent) proof, as well as completely repairing the old hole (which was a rough hole that the prior contractor had simply punched through the wall, without any finishing, sealing or weather-proofing). Very happy with the result, I highly recommend them. Bye, George!

Gave me an estimated quote without knowing exactly what I needed and didn't go over. Gabriel scheduled with me right away. He came out, hooked everything up and helped me get going with what I needed. Gabriel was quick, efficient, left the area clean, showed up on time  and was definitely affordable. Biltmore Mechanical has been to my house twice now. Once for an AC leak and again when my AC stopped cooling my house. Both times I was extremely pleased. Not only are they quick to respond and schedule an appointment, they are also extremely reasonable. When my AC stopped cooling my house, they sent someone out on a Sunday morning-no outlandish last minute emergency fee-and when the issue couldn't be fixed right away because of frozen coils, they came back a few hours later after my unit defrosted to get the AC working again. Highly recommend for their great service!

Excellent response time and covid-safe service! Our heating system broke down during a cold spell. Thankfully a BumbleBee technician was able to come down within a couple of hours of us contacting them. He figured out what was wrong and had the problem resolved with new parts installed within the day!

Alan walked through likely diagnoses and expected costs. Turned out to be fairly straightforward. Alan and apprentice were personable and professional. Alan's years of expertise were highly evident. Had my older unit back up and running in no time.

We had our rental house AC unit replaced by Ideal Energy. We were so impressed by their work, we had our main home's entire system replaced and upgraded. Not an easy job to say the least. But Chris and the crew did an outstanding job. They replaced all ducting and added insulation, sealed up unused swamp up ducts, replaced 2-30 year old units with 1 unit that has 3 zones. We cannot be happier with our new system. The best part-no more dust blowing into the house. We're relieved now that we have a trusted team to assist with any needs down the road.

My A/C compressor went out based on age and the storm we had a few days ago, so we didn't get any cooling in the main are of the house. I called the number after reviewing the comments on Yelp and thought why not give it a shot. Usually I'd like to get referrals through friends and family. I called at 7:30am and had Fadel, the technician, out at the house by 11am. Within minutes he identified the problem and was in and out in less than 30-mins. While he was here he serviced both Trane units and replaced the compressor for the second A/C as well as it was getting to an age. He was honest and told me the fan motor is squeaking on the larger unit that he came to replace the part for. It is currently working, but not sure how long it'll last. Rather than replacing a working part, he suggested I call back when the A/C goes out again as he already knows what the issue will be. I mean it's like the 6-star service you expect and almost never get nowadays. The price was fair too. You earned a new customer and my referral will go towards this locally owned business. Thank you for being prompt, courteous and most importantly honest!!!!

Great company. Had both Travis and Tyler out for a few issues over the past few years. Replaced our sewer injector when that went bad. Also diagnosed a leaky roof (I thought it was a leaky AC unit), and helped out with various other leaks and such. They keep everything clean. Honest, prompt. There are so many basic things you want out of a company and these guys meet all of those and more.

My wife and I are first time homeowners and this was our first time buying an A/C unit. Had to do a lot of research to know what was good and bad and to understand some of the terminology. We had probably 6-7 quotes done before we decided. I knew I wanted to get it done before summer since our Carrier system was almost 20 years old...Wasn't going to let our system run through another summer. Like telling grandpa to run a triathlon.
Pam was friendly and reliable to count on, to get any questions answered and to get us on the schedule. Kevin was knowledgeable and fair with his quote when he came by to take a look at our system. Haven't really had the need to test out the system since it's still nice but so far I'm pretty happy with our system and can feel more relaxed about having a new system in place for summer. I am happy about the 10 year parts/compressor warranty and 1 year service included. The two installers worked hard and got it installed and running in about 4 hours. Good choice of a company to choose.

Chad did an awesome job explaining our new unit options, the pros and cons of each, and providing very competitive quotes.  He was very thorough in making sure he identified the necessary modifications to the airflow in the house to get the most out of our investment.  Antonio, Josue, and Zack were a great crew, very respectful of our house, and did a great job installing our new Bosch unit.  My only tiny complaint was that there was not an expert on the modulating units on the crew to explain the functions, as they have installed very few of these so far.  All in all a very pain-free process, I would definitely recommend this company.
