Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

We had a new furnace and air conditioner installed today by Larson Air Conditioning. Lyle and Anthony arrived on time, were friendly and polite, very professional, and install went great.

Extremely bad experience. The technician charged us $176 and was not even clear in explaining if it was just a fuse replaced but the report we got did say so. He did not even ask permission to replace it, just did and then charged us a very unreasonable amount. Very unprofessional to do something without getting approval. Will not recommend.

Professional. That's the first thing that comes to mind. They have a real person that answers the phone that will help you with an appointment and answer questions. Not a phone tree that you have to leave a message. The technician's are all helpful and courteous. This is the way all companies should be. Very happy I chose them to install my new air conditioner.

We came home from vacation to find our AC unit running but nothing coming from the vents. We found Boldt on Yelp and called. Phillip answered right away and we had him at our house in about an hour. He inspected our system and showed me exactly what was wrong and we went over a few options to fix it and he gave me a quote. He arrived the next morning soon as the rain cleared and fixed our system. (this was on the day of the insane rainstorm that flooded everything in Phoenix). He was very pleasant and professional and the work got done at a VERY reasonable price (exactly the amount quoted). 100% calling him again if ever our system goes down.

Called Johnny at 7am this morning and he was here at 8:30am to see why my ac started blowing heater temp air last night.  He determined it was the fan motor.  He replaced it and it made a horrible noise only audible from the exterior of the home. Inside it sounded fine. He had to leave (without payment) to get to his next appointment and stated he would return.  I was perfectly fine with that. He returned timely and after trouble shooting realized a few old bolts needed to be tightened in the casing the fan motor sat in.  It is such an old unit.  The drain was clogged and they were able to clear that up. They confirmed the Freon was full.  Johnny was diligent in insisting the unit run smoothly and as quietly as possible, in spite of it's age. He explained things to me as he worked. He also cleaned up after he left.  The price seemed on point for the fan motor which I determined with a quick web search.  What a nice, down to earth, honest set of guys.  I offered him a credit card and he frowned. Ha!  He's old school. Have your check book handy.  I will definitely be using Johnny in the future, as well as recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Our 13 year A/C stopped working last night, or should say the Blower stopped working.  I can do some A/C stuff, so went up on the roof, but couldn't get it working.  Called Hays at 7 AM, they said someone would be there between 9 and 11 AM.  They called back at 7:30 AM and asked if it would be ok if the guy showed up between 8:15-8:30 AM.  Of course I said no problem.   They were there at 8:25 AM, So time estimates where dead on!

I explained what was going on, we went up to the roof and they did a quick test to bypass the thermostat.   It worked, so I went back down and set the thermostat to on, it worked again.  They also recommended switch the fan motor for LOW to HIGH.  I inherited this A/C when I bought the house 3 years ago.  What great guys to explain how it was hooked up, I said let's do it. What a big difference that made in the house, really blows now, covers the rooms better (1954 house)!  They checked the freon, cap, etc and said it all tested good.  

They also told me, if it happened again most likely it means it's the circuit board, which I believe, he tapped the relay's on it before bypassing the thermostat.  The Circuit board is showing some burnt spots etc.  They did not recommend to replace it at this time, it might last 5 years, it might last 2 days they said.  If the issue occurs again, the board probably needs replaced.

They charged me standard $69 service fee, and 1/2 hour of labor.  Sounded right to me!  I cannot stress how great it was to find honest A/C service techs.  Hay's is my new #1 A/C company!

Great company. I called them on a Friday at 1:30 PM and the were able to get to my house at 6:30 PM. The blower motor on my second floor AC was out. They needed to get the part and were at my house by 11:00 on Saturday. Everything working great by 12:00. Great price, response, and service. Developed a Freon leak on the hottest day of the year called and scheduled same day appt. Got a call that they could actually arrive sooner than scheduled. They arrived, and quickly found and repaired the leak. Dakota (the service tech) was pleasant as well, he actually adjusted my fan blade, tested the capacitors and compressor. I was back up and running in a couple of hours of his arrival! I have peace of mind that the job was done right and that I have an HVAC contractor that I can trust to call for any future problems. Keep up the good work!!!

Backed-up condensation line. Called Mon, Henry was here on-time on Tuesday. Spent :20 and got the line cleared. Very reasonable price compared to other AC companies, wanting to charge $200 or more. Will definitely use this company again. Thank you!

My air conditioner died and if course it was going to be 100 degrees the next day. I called them and they came out the next day and fixed the problem. Very professional and did a great job. I would definitely recommend them!

My AC went out on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of an extreme heat warning here in the valley. After countless attempts from my landlord to get a company to come take a look at it, we were still left with no AC come Tuesday afternoon. I called bumble bee air conditioning that afternoon and expressed the urgency of getting it fixed immediately. Lisa, the woman in the office, was very empathetic and said she could send someone as soon as he finished with another customer. It was the first time since the whole ordeal happened that my concerns weren't just dismissed but rather validated and being addressed accordingly. I felt as if she actually cared that my family and I were suffering through this heat wave.

Not long after that Jimmy showed up to take a look. He explained to us that the motor was the problem and even went as far as bringing me up on the roof with him to show me a few of the issues. He said it could be fixed the very next day but that he could temporarily have it up and running that night at least for a few hours until the motor overheated again and would shut it off. He said it would at least make it bearable for the night.

The next morning, A man named Steve was sent out to fix everything. He even went over things in detail with our warranty company, who also said, he was incredibly helpful and the most pleasant technician he had ever worked with.

From start to finish, this company was caring, friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I've honestly never had such an easy and pleasant experience with any company when it came to getting things repaired and this was a breath of fresh air. I'd recommend them to everyone.

Thank you to Cave Creek Cooling Company! Approaching the hottest week of the year (just our luck on a Sunday late afternoon) and our AC stopped working. It was our first time using Michael and we are happy that we did! He was responsive and at our house in less than 30 minutes. After his assessment, he diagnosed the problem and explained it in detail. Our AC works even better than before.  He's honest, efficient and well priced. Alan walked through likely diagnoses and expected costs. Turned out to be fairly straightforward. Alan and apprentice were personable and professional. Alan's years of expertise were highly evident. Had my older unit back up and running in no time.

I've used Ideal at two separate properties and they provided excellent AC repair services at both.  Very happy with the work that was done and their responsiveness and professionalism.  They also have the best front office support I've ever experience with a contractor.  I will definitely keep using them.

So I started calling them at 9 at night and after five phone calls trying to decide from two other AC guys fadal was able to locate the unit in minutes and had us cooling within hours.. I was handling this from another state and his communication was amazing. He was able to give us a service with a discount so that now gives us peace of mind for the next two years. Thank you for working those 18-hour days in the middle of the season to keep my elderly mother cool

Just had ProSkill out to replace my 2 seventeen year old  AC units.  As usual they performed a neat professional installation.  I am very happy with the complete process from the estimate, rebates, and install.  I am looking forward to next summer.  Haha.  Thanks again.

The front office is kind & did great follow up to let me know Matthew was running late from the last job. He arrived and was informative and worked top get me a lower price. I didn't go with them because I wanted a Trane and they don't have those but I would recommend them to anyone looking for servicing.

Excellent experience.  Had 4 a/c units get checked out for preventative maintenance.  He (Dominik) was very friendly, down-to-earth guy, and was fun to talk to, and offered a wealth of information about anything you had questions with, he was very happy to offer that.  He stated everything was in spec (all wires pulling correct currents, run-caps at expected values) and was very thorough.  He stated they DO NOT work on commission, so there won't up-sell or try to get you to buy something that you don't need.  For example, if you are 1/3 lb low on refrigerant, they will only charge you a 1/3 lb to fill it to spec, as it should be.  With R22 refrigerant being on average $100/lb, some previous companies charge you the whole lb ($100) even if you needed 1/2lb or 1/4 lb, or 1/8 lb...  If any company tries to do that with you, show them the door and the bottom of your foot!   I felt he was very honest and it was a pleasure doing business with them.  I will definitely use them again for all other services!  They charged $65 for first a/c, and $40 for each additional a/c.
