Amazing and fast service!!  We have been using American Home Water and Air for a couple of years now and are so pleased with the honest service they provide. Mike is one of the best techs I have ever dealt with. His professionalism is TOP NOTCH!

This is my second time using 1st Choice Mechanical. The first time was in November for an HVAC repair and this time for a refrigerator repair. I'm both cases their customer service has been outstanding and their techs have been timely, courteous, and knowledgeable. They were able to make necessary repairs in the timeframe quoted, and were easy to work with. I would gladly use them again in the future.

This company is great! I have recently purchased a new home and Phillip did a great job on the inspection. I later had some issues with unit in the house and he was professional and helpful. He really went above and beyond in helping me figure out what to do!

Called Johnny at 7 am on a Saturday morning.  He arrived as promised at 10 am with a two man crew.  Was clear they were looking to find the least expensive solution.  Guys spent extra time and resolved our issue as a loose wire. Wow. Very reasonable price.  Very happy.  Will call Johnny again if ever any new issues.

Mike was the name of the technician who came to my home to inspect my HVAC unit on the house I had just purchased.  He was the second HVAC guy out because the first guy quoted me an outrageous price to get standard maintenance up-to-date.  I was very happy with how thorough Mike was in his inspection.  He essentially found four things wrong:

1.  Coils needed to be cleaned (part of the visit)
2.  Fuses were the wrong size
3.  Condensation hose was unhooked (ended up it was also clogged)
4.  Thermostat was pretty old.

It should be noted that the previous HVAC guy who was out didn't even catch that the fuses were the wrong size and that the condensation hose was unhooked.  The previous HVAC guy tried to tell me that the unit was a 2002 unit, and I verified through Mike and through the guy who did my home inspection prior to me purchasing it that it was, indeed, a 2009 unit.

Now I don't think the thermostat needed to be replaced, but he offered to do all of the above for $383.  I agreed, and off to work he went.

I am a due diligence kind of guy, so while Mike was working, I did some research on what all of that actually cost.  First of all, I should note that regardless, I was going to pay $85 to have the semi-annual inspection done.  So here is an itemized breakdown:

1.  New fuses     $8      (Lowes)
2.  Thermostat:   $179  (Amazon)
3.  Tax:                $16
4.  Service visit:  $85
    Total              $288

The way I look at it, I essentially paid him a $95 labor fee to install a thermostat, and I'm completely okay with that.  It would probably take me 4-6 hours to do all of the above.  His total visit was about two hours.

As a side note, I think it's pretty awesome that I can change my thermostat on my phone from pretty much anywhere in the world.  

I should also note that Mike was pretty awesome.  He took the time to explain everything to me as well as he could.  I think that in his line of work, which is extremely technical in nature, one of the hardest parts is understanding pricing in such a way so that it can be explained fluently to customers, and he excelled at that.  He also pointed out a couple of other products that the folks at Hays stand behind without offering any pressure to make a purchase.  I'm pretty sure that Mike ended up getting off about 30 minutes after the time his shift was supposed to end, and he had a long drive through traffic to get home.  Those kinds of things annoy the crap out of me when I have to deal with them, but he shrugged them off with a just doing my job attitude.  I think Mike really likes what he does for a living, and I admire that.

I will also be calling Hays next fall to do my semi-annual inspection.  I highly recommend them.

Great company. I called them on a Friday at 1:30 PM and the were able to get to my house at 6:30 PM. The blower motor on my second floor AC was out. They needed to get the part and were at my house by 11:00 on Saturday. Everything working great by 12:00. Great price, response, and service. Will definitely continue to do business with Arizona Air Experts. Thanks Jeff Lundy

I have used Cool Zone for about a year and a half.  They installed a split system (for the previous owners of our home), which I couldn't figure out how to use.  I had another (redacted name company) out to replace a condensate line and to check the split system.  The other company indicated that the split system wasn't working and that they'd need to fix it.  I contacted Cool Zone since I found the split paperwork showing they had installed it and I was hoping it was under warranty.  Dave (owner) came out and showed me how to use the split system (no charge) and that it was working fine.  Since then, we've had them install a two stage system to address an issue with poor cooling of an area of the house, install Ecobee thermostats, do general checks and tune ups, and address a weird leak.  I've got nothing but great things to say about this company.  They are probably not the cheapest in town, but they show up on time, do the work correctly, and don't try to up sell.  Their prices seem about average, and less than (redacted company).  On a personal note, everyone I've interacted with in the company: Dave, Byron, Ryan, and Danette are great people as well.

During the heat wave of the week of July 23, 2018 my heat pump would shut off at the hottest part of the day and then return to normal operation about two hours later. I called Arctic Fox and let Misty (the owner's wife)  know what was going on with my unit. I told her it was not an emergency, as the unit was running when I called. We scheduled Friday of that week for Heath (the owner) to come out and look at the heat pump. Misty stated if it got any worse to call and they would fit us in.

I called back on Thursday morning, as my wife was concerned about our dogs and cat. Heath arrived at our house and did some troubleshooting on the unit. He could find nothing wrong with the unit. After providing him with the symptoms that occurred each afternoon he determined it may be the motor for the fan that cools the coils. It has a thermostat that shuts down the motor at 200 degrees. It did not occur when he was there (naturally). He stated he would return the next day with a new motor. Friday he removed the old motor and lo and behold, the motor was leaking oil near the shaft. The motor was heating to shut down temperatures the previous days. Heath worked fast and diligently to replace the motor as the heat pump was shut down during this task.

When it was all said and done, the motor was under warranty and there was no charge for it. Heath said there was also no labor charge. I disagreed with the free labor, as he came out two days and I know the manufacturer was not going to reimburse him for his time.  I asked him what his labor rate was for the two days he was at my home. He provided me with the cost (I think he may have low balled it) and I gladly paid.

I cannot say enough of the integrity, customer service and genuine care this husband and wife company displays every time I use their services. The big name companies cannot even come close to Arctic Fox's business ethic.

They found what was wrong with my A/C and fixed it. The price didn't seem outrageous or anything compared to how much time and effort was put into the repair. I would recommend and hope to see them again if I have any future A/C issues.

Great company.  I had the Dukes install 2 new AC units.  They arrived when they said they would.  Service personnel were very professional.  They were quick with the install and left my home as neat as when they first arrived.  They explained everything about the new system and made sure I was happy with everything before they left.

The units were competitively priced and I could not be happier.  I would highly recommend The Dukes!

I had a great experience with David with Biltmore Mechanical.  I called after hours and he answered the phone.  I was scheduled for next day service.  David was professional and prompt.  

The service was for a non functioning air conditioner in my rental property.  He was able to coordinate with the tenant a time and fixed the issue in a timely manner, for a fair price. I was able to pay electronically, which was very convenient.

I highly recommend Biltmore Mechanical for your heating and air condition needs.

When in need of air fast, call Bumble Bee! I contacted through Yelp after hearing rave reviews on Next Door. It was a Sunday evening and I had a response before 7 am on Monday. They were at my house and the air was fixed before noon.

They didn't try to upsell a new unit! Bonus!!

Chase was awesome. The cooling function of our AC unit went out and Chase was at our home within a couple of hours. He diagnosed the problem (which was on the roof), found and purchased a new condenser fan, and had the repair complete within two hours total! They are communicative, knowledgeable, and friendly. Pricing is fair, especially for emergency services in this heat. Would use again and recommend to anyone in the area.

By far best service I have had for Home Services. Thanks Alan!!  I appreciate the quick turnaround (service call and repairs completed within an hour). We've had Ideal Energy do work for us twice--once to put in insulation, fix our duct work and replace our pool pump, and once to replace our air conditioning unit.  We could not be happier with the service we received from everyone affiliated with Ideal Energy.  The customer service is tip top--even though I know they are extremely busy, Alex and Elena made us feel like were a top priority.  They were able to replace our a/c unit within days of speaking with us and they have never steered us wrong with their guidance.  Already our house is significantly cooler.  The work we've had done is of exceptionally high quality and the prices are fair.  We absolutely could not be happier with Ideal Energy--I wish more of our friends needed work done so we could refer them to Alex and Elena!

Fantastic company. Fadel, the tech was informative and super helpful. My AC went out at 2pm. Got a hold of Desert Comfort Mechanical and had an appointment for 6AM the next day. Fadel called at 7pm and said he was running ahead of schedule and could fit me in same day. He was here in about 11min, had the problem diagnosed and fixed very quickly. He explained everything that he did and double checked the compressor, fans, voltage, everything. Great company, reasonable pricing and great service!!!! If you are looking for a great HVAC company, call them.

Last night my a/c stopped working. I called ProSkill and left a message. I also called first thing this morning and was lucky to be served so quickly! Gavin was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and honest. My house is cool already!!

AC going out is the worst. I had talked to many many companies and not only did Sure temp come recommended (even by another company) they also had the best quote by far. The owner reached out directly as it was outside of normal business hours they worked with my schedule to install a new unit as soon as possible the unit works great and they saved me tons of money.
