Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

This is my 2nd review of this company and I can't say enough good things about them. I contacted them because I was certain that my instant hot water unit needed to be replaced. I was ready to have them get a new unit and install it. Instead, Tom  who is one of the owners suggested that I drain the line going from the pump into the house. He talked me through it on the phone and that fixed the problem. The owners of the company and all the employees that I have had contact with are the best.

I get my AC checked out every year before summer and have used many different companies to take care of this task. I have to say, I have saved 1st Choice Mechanical in my contacts on my phone after today's visit. Tim showed up right on time, kept me in the loop as to what he and his trainee were doing and even showed me some tips to keep my unit running efficiently (no other company I have used have done that). They were courteous and covid safe. No mess after their work, it's like they weren't even here! I will definitely call on them again for next years service or any service in between! My A/C was having an issue that would only happen intermittently. I knew it was something that needed to be fixed but I was concerned that when I'd have someone come look at it that it would run fine and that they would just want me to pay them to replace a bunch of parts. However, Phillip Boldt showed up at my place and I explained the issues the A/C would sometimes have. He said that he didn't want me to spend money on replacing parts when he could not find the issue because it was operating properly at the time. He decided the clean and lubricate a few things and start from there. As he was leaving the A/C started having the problem again. Phillip quickly identified the part needing replacement, went and picked up the part, and installed it. His price was very reasonable and I was very happy with his service.

I will definitely use Boldt HVAC in the future and have already recommended a Boldt to friends.

It was incredibly hot yesterday and my air went out. Found these fellows on yelp and wanted to give them a try. Today the two Johnny's came and to fix my air conditioning. They tried to save me money by going with the lesser option and offerred to apply the original payment in case I ended up needing a new fan motor. Worked great for a few hours before it went out again. The guys came back out immediately after I called and installed the fan applying the first call totals to the new fan motor. Excellent service and two super nice guys. Fairly priced as well. I am so freaking happy my house that felt like a sauna is starting to come back to life.

Hays was quick to set an appointment for my yearly AC check up and was great with communication. The tech was running a little behind the morning of my appointment but Hays was very proactive in contacting and updating me. To clarify, I was not bothered by the tech running behind--I have no doubt they are swamped with AC needs in the AZ heat! My tech, Sam, arrived and was super friendly then got right to work. He did a very thorough job, explained everything to me clearly and didn't pressure me at all. They honored the online coupon/discount and Sam told me about the yearly preventative maintenance plan they have but did not try to pressure or up sell me at all. I will for sure be contacting Hays in the future for my AC needs.

My wife and I finally decided to kick on the heater and when we did it just kicked out cold air. I requested a few appointments first thing the following morning and cool zone responded first, the next call from another company was hours later. They had a tech here in my home within hours to see what the issue was. After the inspection was complete we were given the unfortunate news that the compressor had given out on us. Our tech verified the unit was under warranty still, gave us a quote on what we would have to pay and got us setup for the next day. To have a job be complete from diagnosis to complete in less than a day made us very happy. From quick response and job well done to having a warm house our experience couldn't have been better. Heath is the best. Very reliable, great prices, knowledgeable and very customer service oriented. Love to deal with smaller companies because they actually care as owners. Wouldn't use any other company besides Attic Fox.

I'm so very happy with this company! They arrived on time and immediately went up on the roof to examine my AC unit. The good news was there was nothing wrong and instead of telling me stories they admitted the truth! They told me what to look out for if I ever heard the noise again and how much it would cost to replace the motor. The price seemed very reasonable. I will return to them for all my AC and heating needs

This is for a REALLY GOOD EXPERIENCE!! My AC guy had an issue that prevented him from coming out so he recommended Arizona Dukes of Air. I called and talked to Lori who was very friendly and got an appointment for next day.

Randy, the technician, let me know he was on his way with a phone call and I received text updates. When he arrived he went straight to work on the units and got everything sorted and provided some education along the way that was abundantly helpful.

Fantastic customer service and communication. I called on a Sunday over a holiday weekend and was able to coordinate someone to come look at an AC unit on a rental property the next morning. David text me when he was on the way. He kept me informed via text - even sending me a video explaining the issue. I live out of state so this was very much appreciated! Everything was fixed within an hour or so. Much less stressful than I was expecting, given an AC issue in the middle of the hot summer!

We didn't actually end up with using them...but my experience was great. The gentleman came out right away to provide an estimate. They're prices were pretty competitive and they knew what they were taking about. I would definitely trust them. Gave options. There were follow up calls too. The office was super friendly. We only didn't not go with them bc of our general contractor-it was easier to stick with them for what we needed- but bumble bee had better prices than most (I got a few quotes for new Hvac) and awesome customer service!! I would recommend them!

Our A/C motor blew on a Sunday. Michael answered the call and was at our home within the hour. He was incredibly efficient, explaining the problem and having the motor available to replace. The company is fairly priced and highly responsive. We have found our new air conditioning company. Thank you so much!

I called to have my ac/heating checked on my condo that I'm  purchasing. The seller or HOA couldn't be more helpful than Alan's Air! I just provided the address and was provided with details how it works.  Very impressive!  Highly recommend!

Here's the short version:

My experience with Ideal Energy was absolutely beyond my expectations. They were professional, on time, and I couldn't be happier with my home's new AC and Furnace. If you're shopping for HVAC services, don't hesitate to call these guys.  

If you want the details:
We purchased an older home. Built in the 1980's and it had its quirks; its had things break. We've had multiple contractors to our house to fix and install various things around the home. Windows repaired, blinds installed, drywall repaired, patio installations. We had a few AC quotes prior to working with Ideal Energy. We needed new duct-work. Our house had add-ons that just weren't getting air properly. We voiced our concerns to other HVAC companies, but all they wanted to so was replace our AC unit. This would have left our 35-year-old furnace and 35-year-old duct-work in place to run a brand-new AC unit. In my mind that was like putting a new engine in a 35-year-old car, and not bothering to replace the worn-out tires. We said we wanted all of it fixed, but with other contractors it fell on deaf ears. I can do the AC but we don't to ducts. I've had contractors come in with wild ideas to save money, including going and purchasing the AC unit myself, so I can save money with credit card points. I've got quotes written down on blank sheets of paper with no real explanation or break down for what I was buying. I've had contractors, in fact nearly all of them, fail to follow up when they said they would.
My experience with Alex and Ideal Energy left the competition in the dark. Alex showed up not only in the window he had promised, he gave my updates as to when exactly he would arrive. He showed up with a power point presentation outlying MY HOUSE. My floor plan was in his power-point. He explained the problems with my current duct working. He explained several solutions we could implement with various price points. He calculates the exact tonnage required for my home, based on computer simulations. Not a generalized rule of thumb like every other HVAC company that showed up had offered.

We settled on a state-of-the-art Zoned AC system. I can individually monitor and change the temperatures in various parts of my home. I can opt to cool infrequently used rooms less and keep the Master chilly at night without cooling my living room as much. While only using the single AC unit. It's absolutely incredible. (Ask them about it, its super cool... No pun intended) I didn't even know something like this existed. Alex's crew showed up on time with a convoy of trucks to remove my old system and install the new one. The task was a huge undertaking. His crew spent the better part of 3 solid days in the attic ensuring everything was good to go. I'm chilly in rooms of my house that have never been cold before.

An AC is a big investment. Let Ideal Energy take care of you. This has been the most streamlined, turnkey process I've had done to my house. Which is amazing. Considering its by far the biggest project I've had done. Don't hesitate to call them, they'll take care of you.

Chance promptly sent his top guy Eric C. to check out my system and advise on expanding my system to help with cooling and heating in an addition to our home.  Eric was awesome!  not only checked out the system and gave an honest estimate on the addition but discovered some issues and several problems with the existing system.  He was able to correct the issues and get our system running top notch.

Great experience.  One of the rooms in our house was warmer than the others.  They came out, assessed the situation very thoroughly and were able to diagnose the problem very quickly.  The technician, Kevin, was a great guy - no pressure and did a great job explaining WHY something was needed instead of just telling us to buy it.

Sure Temp is a great company. This is the second service they provided. They came within 1 hour of a service request! Dominick M. was an absolute pleasure. He fixed our A/C issue in a very timely manner and also educated me on identifying future faults. Literally, fast and efficient service that remedied our issues immediately. His professionalism and expertise was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this company!
