Paul was the technician that serviced our A/C for routine maintenance. He was prompt and I also received a courtesy phone call with ETA before he made his way over to our house which I GREATLY appreciated. He was very professional and explained the work he had completed and also the proposed preventative work he recommends we get done to ensure our unit lasts as long as possible before having to replace it. Had my entire on roof Package HVAC system replaced and additional ducts installed by Danny and his team (Anthony). This is probably the best HVAC company in Sacramento County. I would recommend them to anyone who is doing some HVAC work and needs a company that is cheaper than the competition, responsible, responsive, honest and just all around hard working individuals. You could probably give these guys a key to your house and go to work, that's how honest they are.

Bonnie, Home Depot and Lowes contractors came out and quoted me some outrages prices to replace the system and update some ducts as well as add a new air intake to help air circulate through my home. Luckily, I came across this company and read the reviews so decided to reach out. Danny (The Owner) responded quickly and setup a time to come give me a quote that same day. He showed up on time, ready to go and even gave me his direct cell number and said i can text him with any questions about the quote. A day or two later he built me three different quotes based on my needs and what i explained to him I needed to do VS what i would like to do. I chose to go with the medium option as it was significantly lower than the competitors and we scheduled a time over the next week to have the system replaced (This was important because we only had 2 days of break in the rain).
THE CUSTOMER SERVICE:
In the four days between signing the work estimate and the work suppose to start, I had multiple questions about the unit itself, the other options, and I even found a unit online that was on sale. Each and every time I contacted Danny by text or call, he answered right away. Looked into any sales information and even called the supplier to have them price match what I found online. Honestly, I was probably the most needy customer he has had but I want to make sure I am getting the best option for my money because who doesn't work hard for their money.
THE ACTUAL WORK:
Danny showed up on time with his team (Anthony). They worked nonstop for two days because the rain was starting on saturday and they started Thursday morning. They installed the entire system in record time and made sure everything was cleaned, painted, patched, and to my liking before they left. While they were working I repeatedly felt overly comfortable leaving them at my home with it unlocked and running a few errands. I even bought them some coffee because Hey they saved me a ton of money.

I had Reliance come to my house to give me a quote for new duct work. Dalen came out of his way as I believe I am slightly out of their usual area. He took everything about my house into account, knew my square footage of the house, measured. I was very impressed at the care they take in working up options/solutions. I had obtained another quote beforehand and that individual was not as scientific in his craft as Reliance. Dalen told me about all of my options but also suggested blowing more insulation as a less drastic solution to see if that helped. Although I have not purchased anything form Reliance, they were very friendly, accommodating of my schedule, and clearly put care and thought into a quote.

It seems like every time we call Day and Night Plumbing they always just want to sell us on a new water heater. Our current water heater is only a few years old and they wouldn't even try to repair it but immediately said it needed to be replaced and gave us very pricey quotes for new ones. They installed it a few years ago and didn't have any record of that either. I don't think the technicians are really taught how to repair anything, just replace things. I would choose another plumber if I were you.

Both of our AC units were on their last leg, house is about 20yrs old. I got quotes from 5 different companies, many of which were much larger, lots of the larger ones sent out dedicated sales people which was kind of a red flag for me that they need to charge higher prices for all of their extra employees. I'm really glad that I found DeModica Air, Jon Jon came out the day after I called him, explained all of my options, including patching my existing units which he said he could get them to last probably another 3 years. But he recommended replacement and we are glad we went with his recommendation. He had both units replaced, along with the air handlers in just 2 days. I highly recommend giving them a shot, at least invite them to give you a quote.

Last month our a/c stopped working. We filed a claim with our home warranty company on a Saturday and I was so worried that we were going to be without a/c for several days. This company sucks! I called via their segment on YOUR LIFE A TO Z to have a service check done. The tech messed up and a breaker by the unit blew and he never bothered to check it. Then, he preceded to give a quote for a new unit, over 10 grand and CHARGED us without even receiving a new unit! What the hell?? I was out of town and I told my husband no way, that unit does not need to be replaced and to call our credit card company because who charges before even doing any service??. Sure enough, we had another company come out and it was the breaker! Precision broke our unit!! This tech said our unit has at least 3 years on its life. WE SAVED 10 GRAND AND NO THANKS TO PRECISION!! They may think about retraining their techs. At least, we were not charged for the service check due to their fault and our unit was working when they arrived.

I was having a tough time finding someone to fix my Midea Air-handler, as it is not a common brand of A/C. When I called 1800Plumber+Air, Ben answered the phone and listened to exactly what the issue was- he took down the model of my unit and actually talked through the repairs with his tech before sending him out. The other companies I called (Goettl and George Brazil)just have an answering service and they do not relay any important info to their techs, thus having them show up only to say they could not fix it or find parts.

Canyon State to the rescue. My air conditioner died last Friday & I spent the weekend trying to figure how what to do & how much to spend. Something reasonably priced but also could be taken care of quickly. I combed the APS Qualified Contractors, reviewed them on Yelp, & checked for their ROC license.
I came across Canyon State and could not be more impressed or happy with their service. I received a quote from James Dunkins but it wasn't just one! He took the time to give me four prices on one sheet and an extra price contained in the email. Canyon State uses Trane products & the quotes included RunTru. I never heard of this but looked it up, read the reviews, & saw it too was a Trane product.
The prices was definitely right but more importantly, to me, was the customer service. It didn't feel like it was a massive push or over eager sale. There wasn't an upscale but a genuine, how can we help you? The fact that they also had a portable A/C to help me survive until they could I stall also helped.
James was patient & indulged all of my questions. He was thoughtful in his responses & the tone of his voice made me feel like a friend instead of some rando new potential customer. When he came on Sunday to set up the portable A/C & measure, I felt even more confident in the decision to go with Canyon State.
The first year of service (2 checks) are included with a proposal for maintenance plan to be given at the second service. The warranty for the new install is reasonable as well. I really appreciate the upfront pricing & how it is a flat fee. No hidden surprises. No up sales. No pressure.
