Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

Needed a new A/C unit installed because dog had been urinating on the previous outdoor system. Spoke with Jason who was able to get me a reasonable quote for a new unit installed. They were very patient and listened to my concerns as I had just been ripped off by a different competing place who had been out three times including charging us for coolant when it was spot on obvious there was corrosion and a leak (I do not recommend Simply The Best).

Jason provided the quote and the install was done within a few days which is excellent response time considering I was in a jam and summer is here. Installers were very professional and even had the job done under the quoted time frame and did preventative maintenance on the other existing unit. Recommended. Straight forward, friendly and professional and don't play games with you like some of the other guys. We need integrity living in Arizona with the heat and I can say based on my experience, Northern Air provides exactly that! Thanks again and will use in the future for all cooling and heating needs!

Robert did an awesome job for a reasonable price. Good attitude, worked super hard, got it done in a timely fashion. Will definitely be using him again for anything we need hvac related. Recommend him highly. He replaced our air handler and condenser and relocated it all in one day.

My HVAC broke down end of August, Heat warning in effect and literally 2 hours after I called McMillin Air their technician Lalo had my A/C up and running again!!! I can't begin to tell you how impressed and grateful I am! They will have all of my future business. A million thanks is not enough.

These guys are great, they helped me out last year and I went straight back to them this year. They are still professional, friendly, and efficient. I was having some furnace issues where my heat wouldn't blow hot air and within a day set a time, came over and had it up and running in an hour from when they started.... definitely happy with the service and will continue using them in the future.

Our air conditioner was 22 years old. We got several bids for a Trane Air&  Heating unit.  K&K was the best bid for an identical model.  They installed quickly, neatly and professionally.  We decided to upgrade later to a WIFI thermostat and they came out and installed it for us. We were more than happy with the service and work they did, and we liked working with a family owned company and recommend them highly!

I called these folks this morning to see if they could help me?   They don't handle the type AC system I have, but that didn't stop them from getting me a name of someone that could.    They didn't need to be so accommodating, but were!   In my book if you need someone, these folks should be at the top of your contact list.   Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

One of my A/C units went out on one of the hottest days in the valley...120 degrees today! I found AccuTemp on Yelp and decided to give them a call. They have emergency service on the weekends and while you pay extra for the emergency service, it's worth it when you need them at the last minute on a Saturday. The customer service was amazing. She made sure to let me know the costs and while they were super busy today (not surprising with this heat), she said she would keep me up to date if they could get out to me. She called me twice just to update me on the status and they were out to my house much faster than I ever expected! The tech walked in and got straight to work. He didn't waste any time and had the unit fixed in minutes. (It was a capacitor) The price was very reasonable and he didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I would highly recommend AccuTemp and while I hope I don't need A/C service anytime soon, they will be the ones I call if I do. A+

Both of our AC units were on their last leg, house is about 20yrs old. I got quotes from 5 different companies, many of which were much larger, lots of the larger ones sent out dedicated sales people which was kind of a red flag for me that they need to charge higher prices for all of their extra employees. I'm really glad that I found DeModica Air, Jon Jon came out the day after I called him, explained all of my options, including patching my existing units which he said he could get them to last probably another 3 years. But he recommended replacement and we are glad we went with his recommendation. He had both units replaced, along with the air handlers in just 2 days. I highly recommend giving them a shot, at least invite them to give you a quote.

A less than four year old condenser unit would not start up. Called Stay Cool and had an appointment window for 2-5 PM. At four pm i called to confirm and they said yes, but someone else was in front of me. 5:30 PM rolled around and no Stay Cool. No call, no nothing. Unreliable, unprofessional. Buyer beware.

Last month our a/c stopped working. We filed a claim with our home warranty company on a Saturday and I was so worried that we were going to be without a/c for several days. Being August, 8 months pregnant, and also having a 1 year old I was very concerned! My husband left a message on Sunday, and someone contacted him back letting him know they would be out early Monday. The communication was great and the tech who came had the part we needed on hand and fixed it right away. I was so thankful! Great customer service and no further problems, couldn't ask for better!

I have dealt with a lot of AC technicians over the years as I have nursed along my old Goodman units, and I finally reached a point where it was time to replace the worst of the 2 as funds would not permit a full replacement of both.  I found Quantum's address as being local to me and Kevin the owner came out same day to quote me a price.  On first meeting him he handed me a business card, shook my hand, and introduced himself - the first sign of a professional.  I explained that I wanted a replacement quote, but instead of going into hard-sell mode (which is what I am used to) he asked if a repair was an option - and proceeded to inspect the unit and climb up into my attic.  Identifying that my unit was low on R22 even though it had only been refilled a week ago he offered to refill it, I declined as obviously there was a leak but Kevin offered to put some recycled R22 in there to keep me going over the weekend - for FREE, and R22 is anywhere up to a hundred dollars a pound right now.  After all of this he never asked for a penny and had my new system quote with me just 2 hours later.

You simply do not find AC technicians like this in the valley - even the good ones are not THIS good.  Kevin is quite exceptional.  I have lived here for 15 years and this is the first positive AC technician review I have posted, ever.  Get on his schedule, you shouldn't even consider anyone else, and no I am not a friend or relative - this review is 100% genuine.

I can't say enough about the customer service from King Plumbing & AC.  Just as luck would have it the AC in my home stopped cooling on a weekend in July, it was just running constantly.  I posted a message on Yelp that following Monday morning. King Plumbing was THE ONLY company who could come out that morning.  Luis and James arrived right on time. Both were very polite, professional and honest. They noticed the unit was low on coolant, recharged it and cool air had returned.  Next step was to reach out to Old Republic, the home warranty company, to get the AC repaired or replaced.  They sent out some shotty company who charged me 75.00 just to tell me nothing was wrong, didn't even check anything except to tell me the unit had plenty of coolant. No duh  since King had just been out a day prior.  This company then closed out the service ticket with no problem found. I called Old Republic back and stated there was a reason why the unit was so low on coolant and insisted either they repair or replace the unit.  Since King Plumbing & AC is also a contractor for Old Republic, I demanded that they open a new ticket to King.  Luis and James came out again, went up in the attic and found multiple leaks in the coil. Luis worked with the manufacturer to locate a replacement part which was so nice of him. A part was found and the insurance company approved the repair with no cost to me.  Luis and James came back out once the part arrived, replaced it and now the AC works great.  I even signed up for the maintenance plan offered by King so now twice a year the unit can be inspected so no more summer without AC.  There are so many AC companies in Maricopa County but if you are looking for a company with honesty, integrity, that goes above and beyond, by all means, look no further than King Plumbing & AC. Precision Air & Plumbing came to our rescue after waiting for AC repair service from our home warranty for almost two, long hot weeks. We ultimately made the decision to replace our existing AC units on a Monday morning; PA was out that same day with an extremely competitive quote,  including a generous first responder discount, and were able to install the 2 new units the following day. The team of 4 showed up on time, were professional, personable and finished the job in one day as promised. They even vacuumed when they were finished - that made the OCD side of my brain extremely happy - which was a close second to having cool air again. We strongly recommend Precision Air to anyone who's looking for AC repair or replacement. I've also directly heard that they're very good to their employees.

I was having a tough time finding someone to fix my Midea Air-handler, as it is not a common brand of A/C.  When I called 1800Plumber+Air, Ben answered the phone and listened to exactly what the issue was- he took down the model of my unit and actually talked through the repairs with his tech before sending him out.  The other companies I called (Goettl and George Brazil)just have an answering service and they do not relay any important info to their techs, thus having them show up only to say they could not fix it or find parts.  
Ben listened to my issues and the awful experiences i had at the other places and said he would take care of it for me and that the tech he was sending, Travis - was the best.  Travis showed up and quickly fixed my A/C (needed a new control board) and only charged me half of what the others said a new board would cost if they could find one to fit my unit.  I will never call anyone else again but these guys for plumbing and A/C!!!

Our heater went out so we called Canyon State. We got a quick fix but unit was 13 years old and needed more work done to function correctly. Michael came out next day to explain fixing or replacing. We opted to replace since unit was so old and not that efficient any longer. Two days later Manny and Steven came and installed the new unit. Very professional men and it was done in no time. BOY what a difference the new unit makes. Also want to state that lady that took the original call was very caring and listened to our problem then referred us to the proper person for a solution. All aspects of our transaction with Canyon State were  5 star
