Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

Our A/C stopped working late yesterday afternoon on one of the hottest days of summer. By the time I got a hold of Cool/Hot Guys Heating & AC it was almost 8pm and not many other companies were open. Joe had other jobs to do but was able to fit us in that night.  He texted when he was 15 min away (always a plus).  Then he was super friendly to our dog, who is very wary of strangers at first, letting him sniff around for a few minutes (another bonus!).  After he charmed the dog, he got to work.  He found the problem - a new fuse needed - and showed my husband how to do it himself in the future.  Then he refused payment because it was such an inexpensive part, even though he spent 20-30 minutes here.  We were flabbergasted.  We couldn't even get him to accept payment for the service.  Although we didn't get to compensate him this time, we are saving his info and will absolutely call him first next time!  HIGHLY recommend Joe at Cool/Hot Guys Heating and AC!!

Incredibly over priced.  We have a dual fuel system (gas furnace and a heat pump that both cools and heats).  The heat pump side, which will provide heat down to about 38 degrees, was not coming on.  Cool Touch said we had a bad thermostat.  The tech said it would cost $531 to replace the thermostat.  I questioned how it could be that expensive, and he replied 'it's because your system is a dual fuel system and the suppliers charge that much'.  I reluctantly agreed to have it replaced.  When he brought it out the next day and installed it the heat pump did indeed come on.  I noted the model number of said thermostat, (after  the tech, who also happened to be the owner, had left) looked it up on the internet and found that it can be purchased at Home Depot for $85!  Quite a mark up.  I called the company and told them I had found the thermostat could be bought from HD for 85 bucks, I was told the $531 charge included 'parts, labor and installation'.  So ok, I paid it, but seriously- $531 for about 1.5 hours of labor and an $85 thermostat?  Oh, the heat pump only came on for about a day, it's no longer working.  I won't be calling this outfit.

Had my hot water heater maintenance done by XCompany which caused a leak on the pressure valve. I was told it would have to be replaced at a cost of 1,800.00 - I got a few more quotes until the price went down to a couple around 1K, including Safe Dry Out.
Safe Dry Out is the only one who bothered to ask what was wrong with the water heater and suggested it could be fixed instead. I went from having to fork out 1,800.00 to only spending 150.00
Mike could have easily gone with the rest and said the only solution was to replace it. This to me shows integrity and honesty. The quality of work was excellent and, to top it off, he was extremely patient with my 80 year old father hanging around. Thank you Mike!

Super prompt and honest. Derek was a life saver after our home warranty company left us with no A/C for two weeks. He immediately reached out to schedule a time. He was actually able to arrive before his estimated window of arrival. He diagnosed what was wrong and gave us our honest options rather than the run around we kept getting from other places. We have been using Cooler Tymes as our go-to repair and maintenance provider for couple of years now. Mike was extremely helpful and professional,  both times that we have needed his services. We bought A/C units from him twice and his prices were much better than anything else out in the market. My husband loved the job he did for us the first time, everything was explained thoroughly and done the right way, no shortcuts, the house was nice and cold and our electricity bill was dirt cheap for the size of the house we have (two story home 2,765 sqft). Fast forward to a couple of years, we became landlords and rented out the house, the second A/C unit broke down in the middle of summer, and my husband who is stationed overseas didn't want me to call anyone else other than Cooler Tymes to work with us. We had the peace of mind that the job was going to be done well and fast (tenants living in the house have babies, so we were really concerned for them), but we had nothing to worry about as Mike is very trustworthy and knowledgeable in what he does. Mike was always easy to reach, whether it was through email or call or text, he was extremely flexible working with us, despite the fact of living out of town, we were able to negotiate and make the arrangements needed.

Highly recommended! The owner Raul is extremely knowledgeable and honest. He showed up as scheduled and ready to get the job done. I hired him after I hired another AC person who was trying to rip me off or did not know much about AC.

My house is now cooling and staying cold. And he was affordable!

I started off by requesting an estimate for a dryer vent cleaning. Mr. James Suttle responded quickly. I'm appreciative that James was able to accommodate my schedule to come out sooner than later due to me leaving town. I received a heads-up text that James was on the way and he arrived with another technician right on time. James asked if I preferred them to wear masks before they came in. The vent cleaning took roughly 20 minutes. James communicated any issues well, was professional, and was very courteous.

I've used Alternative Air for the last two years and always found them to do high quality work at an affordable price. Never any up sell from them. Always a couple of alternatives on how to fix a problem.

My AC stopped blowing cool air and we found Ken through Google and contacted him.  He came within an hour and knew what the problem was right away and fixed it on the spot.  His service was quick and very professional.  I would have Ken do all of my heating and cooling services when needed.  Thank you Ken!

Great company-- Tom is wonderful! He came out of his way to check out our AC situation and give us a quote that was much better than the previous company we had come out for a new one. We got it installed the following week, which is way faster than we thought! They came early in the morning and it was done before the summer heat kicked in! Woohoo to an updated AC! Oh and they fixed a few things that weren't right from the last time someone was up there before we bought the house. They are amazing! And they come to check on the install 2 weeks later. Just had a new state of the art electronic Air-conditioned by Pineapple Air Heating and Cooling.  Owner John Provido immediately came to our home assessed the issue with our AC and provided us with an excellent estimate on a superb state of the art air-conditioner. John and his staff technicians Chino, Gunner and Christian, what a team! Professional, courteous, perfectionist work. Demolition was quick and clean, they took care to Uninstall the old unit and take it down from our attic with no issues. Then, the installation was amazing. The finish, technical set up and checks and balances of the unit, simply perfection. When the unit was started in minutes the house was immediately cooled to a comfortable 70°. Each room was quickly cooled and the vents were blowing cool refrigerated air. I highly recommend Pineapple Air for all your home refrigeration needs, and owner John Provido's expertise. One day service at an excellent price.

Good communication and professional. Wore his mask the entire time which I very much appreciated due to high risk children in the home. He was honest and straightforward with no pressure. Pricing was very reasonable. Definitely be using him for any future AC emergencies or needs.

Unknown to us was the condition of our AC unit. We recently moved in and the unit passed inspection because it was working and giving out excellent air temps. The unit did not fit the roof support so it vibrated and scraped the new shingles which leaked into our attic and onto the living room ceiling, creating stains. This was after the roofer came and shared this info with us. We needed help and AirZona HVAC came to the rescue. We now have a new Trane heat pump. A new roof frame fits the unit. Gerald's team installed our new heat pump. There was a delay when they unwrapped the unit to find dents from the factory forklift. They would not accept the damaged unit for which I thank them. Who knows what damage lies under the frame? We have a wonderful unit and a WiFi controlled thermostat. Clean up was great. The crane operator went above and beyond in insuring the unit was safely on the roof. We thank AirZona for their wonderful service and products.

I've had this company come out to my house twice for two different issues. They are awesome, hard working, and did not price gouge me! They also beat another company's estimate and saved me some money. I have referred them to a friend of mine and they are also very happy with this company's work too! Definitely recommend.

Absolutely would recommend this company. We had noticed our AC was blowing warmer than usual and taking a really long time to cool the house in March. Got Sorensen out within a day or two and he came out and looked everything over and explained everything as he went. Found out we had a hole in the coil that was leaking coolant (he found out we had NO coolant left). He gave us several options: fix it now, do a quick fix and see if it works, or patch. He explained the pros and cons of each option and the approximate cost of each option. We opted to do a quick fix and find the money to replace the coil in a few months. The manufacturer (which our contractor chose, and had nothing to do with Sorensen) was really difficult to deal with and kept delaying but Sorensen kept me in the loop and let me know as soon as it was in. Even with a major issue from the initial installation (again, our contractor's issue!!!), he was extremely friendly and efficient. This company definitely knows their field, and it was great to get a better understanding of how our AC works and what could go wrong. It is so difficult to find a good company you can trust, especially in the middle of summer here in Phoenix, but this company totally fits the bill. I will absolutely be using them in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone looking!
