Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

Joe was a lifesaver.  Our AC unit for the west side of the house went out on Friday night. Called him Saturday morning and it was up and running within a few hours.  He took time to explain what was wrong.  He did not try to upsell us on a new unit (which others have done).  I would recommend this company to friends and family.

I was going to rent a commercial space for my company. The lease stated I was responsible for the air conditioner and heating system. I asked Cool Touch to evaluate the systems.  They came in one day and after complete testing and evaluation, they determined it would not be in my interest to rent this space based on the age and condition of the air conditioner. They stated it would cost me a lot to get it running properly and would probably need constant attention  and repair. The cost of the evaluation was very inexpensive and saved me lot of wasted time and money. Cool Touch was quick , thorough and very open and honest. I will use them for any future air conditioning or heating needs.

I came home from work yesterday to a balmy 87 degrees in my house. I tried 3 different A/C companies ,who all wanted to schedule me for the following day, I finally found Mike here on Yelp and gave him a call. Told him my issue & he said he was on his way! He gave me an accurate ETA & got right on the job. Unfortunately my A/C was shot so he gave me my options which were unbelievably affordable, still hurt the pocket book but not as bad as I was anticipating. It's now 2 o'clock the next day and my units in and cooling the house. Mike was extremely informative and professional. He really takes care of his customers and I will be a repeat customer for sure. Highly recommended! The owner Raul is extremely knowledgeable and honest. He showed up as scheduled and ready to get the job done. I hired him after I hired another AC person who was trying to rip me off or did not know much about AC.

Up front. Honest. Professional. These guys did an amazing job cleaning my ducts and vents. They were honest about time frames and with what services were included. I'm ready to use them again for the next cleaning I need done.

A/C went out about 9 pm on a Fri night.  Called Alternative Air at 8:00 am Sat. morning, left message; called a 2nd time, left another message.  We were about to try someone else when they returned our call  around 8:30 but could not come out until 3:30-4:00.  They called at 4:15 pm and said they would be here in 10 min., and then arrived 30 min. later at 4:45 pm.  It was just a capacitor, quick and easy fix, done by 5:00 pm - and charged $160!!!!  That seems a bit excessive for a 15 min. fix, and that included the time he sat in his air conditioned truck while writing up the bill.  Have no problem when earlier calls take longer than expected and arrive late for us, but don't call at 4:15 and say you'll be here in 10 min and don't show up for 30 min.  You can get anywhere in Maricopa in 10-15 min. max.   He should have said he'd be here in 30 min., not 10, and it would have been okay.  He was courteous and professional otherwise, got the job done - but still think $160 for a 15 min. job is ridiculous.   One other thing, they don't itemize the billing, just a flat $160.  Did not break down how much for the part, how much for labor.  I don't think the capacitor could have cost that much, and if you figure about $100 in labor for 15 min., that comes to $400 an hour labor charge, assuming with mark-up about $60 for the part.   Think we might try someone else next time.  Prices should be estimated before the work is done - sort of too late once they do the work and hand you the bill.

I needed some accessory installed and being excited to have it working my regular service company put me off.  Baker stepped up and I could not be more pleased.  Ken arrived on time - having called ahead and for a very reasonable fee did the work.

I would recommend this company for honesty and professionalism to any resident of the Sun Cities who want the job done by a honest person.

Thanks to Yelp,  when I needed to find a company to fix my HVAC unit, I found Mountainside Air.  I actually called them for a second opinion after my regular Heating & Air quoted me a very high price to replace the blower on my unit.  Steve and Raoul came out and checked all systems.  Blower did need replacing and I was quoted a price that was much lower than the other company.  2 hours later I had a new blower and all systems were working well.  I am very impressed with the company as well as with Steve and Raoul.  They worked efficiently with no drama and while I hope I won't need the services of Mountainside Air again, it was definitely a good experience.  I highly recommend this company.

JP and Pineapple Air saved the day for my 78 year old mother. Her AC stopped working during a heat wave and after getting the run around from two other companies I luckily found Pineapple. JP answered my phone call and was able to arrive at my mom's house within the hour. He diagnosed the problem and provided an straightforward estimate. He was even willing to speak with an insurance rep on the phone for me and explain the issues. He had the needed parts in his van and was able to get unit back up and running. He was kind, personable, and knowledgeable. This is a company I will call in the future and refer friends to.

Good communication and professional. Wore his mask the entire time which I very much appreciated due to high risk children in the home. He was honest and straightforward with no pressure. Pricing was very reasonable. Definitely be using him for any future AC emergencies or needs.

Our wall unit gas heater wasn't working.  Ray responded quickly, scheduled an inspection, showed up on time, repaired the heater, and charged a reasonable price.

Feels great to have found my go to heating and AC guy. Kyle is very knowledgeable, prompt to return calls/texts, schedule appointments around your schedule, and has great prices. His honesty and integrity are 2nd to none. We had a couple less then desirable companies come by in the past. Kyle exceeded our expectations in all aspects of the jobs he has done in our home. Even when we were out of town and the AC broke down in 110+ degree temperatures. Kyle came by the same day and made the repair at a very fair price. Our 3 dogs and house sitter were equally as impressed as we were. Thank you Kyle for owning and operating an outstanding business and also thank you for serving our country.

Our AC wasn't working...Sorensen had a technician there next day.... The compressor was done...They gave me a few options including just doing the compressor, exchanging the AC parts only, or a whole new system.  From the first time I called to having working AC was just three days.  I contacted a few other companies in the area and the price I ended up paying was the lowest of all of them.  Professional guys! Fast work.
