Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

This is a review of my first contact with Cool/Hot Guys Heating and Air Conditioning Company.  I talked to Joe, he was very helpful in discussing the problem we were experiencing with our Air Conditioning system.  Joe was very courteous and prompt in returning your call.  I'll do a follow up review once the work is completed.  But as of now they are Ranking an A+!!

We had not had our A/C unit checked in a couple of years, so we though since it was already 2000 degrees outside, better get it done so we won't have any surprises.  I looked on Yelp to see what companies got the best ratings and I found Cool Touch.  Every rating 5 stars!  I called and spoke with a very nice lady who set my appointment within the same week, which was great.  Chris (one of the owners) came out today and serviced my unit.  He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.  I didn't get that creepy feeling like I have had before from some technicians.  He serviced our two units and showed my that we had a couple of capacitors that were starting to fail.  I went ahead and authorized replacement and got the Service Agreement which covered the maintenance today, in the Fall and next Spring.  I feel very comfortable with Cool Touch and highly recommend them!

Had my hot water heater maintenance done by XCompany which caused a leak on the pressure valve. I was told it would have to be replaced at a cost of 1,800.00 - I got a few more quotes until the price went down to a couple around 1K, including Safe Dry Out.
Safe Dry Out is the only one who bothered to ask what was wrong with the water heater and suggested it could be fixed instead. I went from having to fork out 1,800.00 to only spending 150.00
Mike could have easily gone with the rest and said the only solution was to replace it. This to me shows integrity and honesty. The quality of work was excellent and, to top it off, he was extremely patient with my 80 year old father hanging around. Thank you Mike!
Will definitely call Safe Dry Out for any future plumbing needs.

Needed help with our central air. Derek responded to my Yelp request right away. He got here quickly even before his ETA and was able to assess the situation and help resolve it the same day. He also provided more solutions and ways to improve air later on as needed. He was kind and understanding of my concerns. Would definitely recommend!

I contacted Cooler Tymes based off of their Yelp reviews.  We had one of our A/C units stop cooling yesterday.  I had my wife contact this company today.  The technician, Mike, came out and my wife said he was very polite and professional.  

After checking everything out he told my wife the TEV or (TX Valve) was clogged and needed to be replaced.  He quoted us a repair (with parts) at $595.00.  My wife told him she would talk to me.  After she called me I said that seemed high and I wanted to discuss with Mike.

I called Mike and asked him what the price was based on.  He went into his industry jargon.  I think they do this to make our heads spin.  I really do not need to know the psi of the Nitrogen he will be using, but he certainly let me know.  I told him I would talk to my wife and get back to him.  Then Mike offered me a deal.  Straight up $500 to fix the unit.  Had to be cash though.  I told him I would get back to him.

I was working and talked to my wife about 30 minutes later and she said she spoke to Mike again.  Now he was offering to fix everything for $400.

So...$595, to $500 and then $400....

Hmmm...sounded sketchy.  It was.  

We called another company and they came out.  Not only was the TEV (TX Valve) not needing to be replaced, but he said that was a scam that some companies use.

He checked the clog and cleared it.  Did a full system check.  Price?  $50.  With tip it was $100.

Very disappointed in what Mike from Cooler Tymes tried to pull on us.

I am all for a company making money for services rendered; however, when the drop the price $200 in 1 hour it seems shady.

If you use these guys, I highly recommend you do your research.

The service technicians were quick to respond. They were professional and cost was very reasonable.  I was very pleased with their service, so I had them service my daughters A/C.  They found an issue caused by a previous company that was causing the A/C not to run efficiently.  It was corrected. I will definitely be using their services in the future.

James has been doing all HVAC work on my house for the past two years including working on my AC unit, replacing my thermostat, and removing 4+ pounds of lint from my dryer vent. He has always been very prompt, friendly, and professional. He provides text messages with updates of his arrival as well as text messages with photos when the job is finished. I highly recommend using him for all of your HVAC needs!

Had a tech come out for a seasonal inspection, everything went great.  Guy showed up on time, and went about with the job.  He also made some recommendations which I liked and the best part is the flat service fee.  I will differently use these guys again.

The technician never showed up. The picture in this review clearly shows an email with an appointment at 8 AM. At 1050 AM, I got a call from this company dating that their technician was running late but he works be arriving in about 30 minutes. He still never showed up. I posted a bad review here and the owner replied adding that his morning appointments go from 9AM until noon and I canceled on him. Not true. A woman from the office even called me to apologize. Why would they apologize if they did nothing wrong? Normally I would let this go but I won't be portrayed as a liar. The guy was a no show.

Amazing service! They do our AC maintenance and always take care of us.  I don't know anything about AC and how all of that stuff works but everytime I have a question or concern, I know I can always reach out to them and I get an answer or have them come out and check my unit! They are super friendly and very professional!

Our A/C was acting up during the hottest time of the year. Called up Pineapple around 4pm on Wednesday, and had JP at the house within hours. A check of the system revealed a faulty valve in the air handler. Part was ordered ans installed Thursday evening.
Quick, courteous, and honest service. Happy to recommend to friends and family.

Good communication and professional. Wore his mask the entire time which I very much appreciated due to high risk children in the home. He was honest and straightforward with no pressure. Pricing was very reasonable. Definitely be using him for any future AC emergencies or needs.

Wow am I impressed!  Today I had the pleasure of experiencing a true professional installation of my new Ameristar Heat Pump and Reehm Hot Water Heater by a team from AirZona HVAC.  The two Gentlemen Gerald and Scott arrived on time and looking professional.  We reviewed the project and they answered the few questions I had confidently and professional.  Gerald and Scott then went about removing my 20+ year old Mobile home system and replacing it.  The work went very smoothly and  everything was cleaner then when they arrived!  
I am now relaxing in my cool living room and marveling at how quiet the new unit is.  I couldn't be happier.  Thanks to the professional team at AirZona!

I was looking for a contractor to install a complete heating and a/c unit. Calling most of the directory listed companies, I could not get anyone to come out to bid. Then I ran across this new business R&R, what a find! Ray came out as scheduled and on time. He is very knowledgeable and patiently went over the details of his design. I had total confidence in his plan. We scheduled the install and Ray not once disappointed us. He made every appointment and not one late show up. Our system performs perfect! I highly recommend this business.

All I want in any business is for that business to be honest.   Kyle was honest, fair, and willing to explain exactly what went wrong.  I appreciate that!   I will definitely use this company again for any further needs.

I called when my A/C wouldn't come on. They came out promptly, diagnosed the problem (bad capacitor) and we're done in under 30 minutes. Didn't try to scam me into paying for parts I didn't need. Have used them before and wouldn't hesitate to call again.
