Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

Could not recommend Joe enough.  Sunday night, 90 degrees in my house, pregnant wife, and in a home we bought 3 days ago.  The whole thing was fixed within 1.5 hours from calling Joe.  Some of the other reviews mention his genuine demeanor and I have to agree.  He gave us candid feedback on what was wrong, why it likely happened, and how to keep it in good shape going forward.

Spent over $5,000 for a new unit in 2012. When your warranty runs out they try to up sell you on expensive services that you do not need. I am not talking about cleaning the unit. Things that cost over $1,000. Switched to their head tech Luis, who failed to inform us that the insulation on our unit was bad. Contacted company and was told it isn't something they check when they do twice a year checkups which we pay a lot of money for. Come on really! The insulation is there for a reason. Are they ignoring this until something goes wrong and we have to pay money to fix something that should have  been brought to our attention sooner? I was told I would get a call from their service manager the next day. Three days later the guy calls a does nothing but make excuses. He says he will talk to his tech. Again this is their head tech who should have noticed the obvious problem. The reason I am so upset is we are trying to sell our house and the item came up in the inspection. Even the inspector questioned  why this was not called to our attention. We put our trust in him and we were wrong for doing so. If I were you I would stay away from this company. Mark did an amazing job on the installation of my garbage disposal.  Also reasonably priced.  Will definitely call him for my Plumbing needs.  Recommended.

Needed help with our central air. Derek responded to my Yelp request right away. He got here quickly even before his ETA and was able to assess the situation and help resolve it the same day. He also provided more solutions and ways to improve air later on as needed. He was kind and understanding of my concerns. Would definitely recommend!

The AC unit for my upstairs started blowing hot air one evening.  I called Cooler Tymes the next morning and Mike was able to come out later that day to take a look at it.  I had him test both units while he was there.  He explained everything he was doing while he worked and he was very friendly.  

The unit that was blowing hot ended up needing over 6lbs of freon and the other unit needed 2lbs.  I could see dollar signs spinning in my head as he was filling them up but the entire cost ended up being very reasonably priced and I was quite happy with the service.  I would definitely recommend Cooler Tymes.

Great service at reasonable prices. Arthur showed up to my house early the day after Christmas and resolved the issue quickly. He cleaned my HVAC system and tested it to make sure it was working at peak performance. I would strongly recommend RMIII AC and Heating. A+

Up front. Honest. Professional. These guys did an amazing job cleaning my ducts and vents. They were honest about time frames and with what services were included. I'm ready to use them again for the next cleaning I need done.

Worst nightmare to have A/C break down on 110+ deg heat!

   It was a Friday early morning and I was already making plans to stay with family since getting an HVAC guy to come out same day + on a Friday is near impossible. I Called Alternative Air after being referred by a coworker. Avnel picked up and I explained what my A/C was doing. He gave me the best and worst case scenario over the phone. Obviously, nothing was guaranteed until he diagnosed my A/C in person. He was able to squeeze me in same day for a check, explained the problem and quoted me a cost.
 
Avnel was on the way to Phoenix to pick up other parts, luckily he diagnosed my A/C before heading into town and was able to make a stop by the Carrier parts distributor to pick up the part I needed. Not only did he pick up the part, he drove back late afternoon, climbed in my 600 deg attic and had my A/C blowing cold within 12 hours of my first call.

We called Baker Heating and Cooling Sunday afternoon (new client). Our AC decided to take a dive.  Of course, Sunday afternoon.

Ken answered the phone (sounded like he was climbing down a ladder), took my name and info and said he would be over in 2 hours. Wow!  Awesome.   Ken comes over, does his thing, says the fan motor thingy (my words) is dead and needs to be replaced.
So I go into stealth mode, hop on amazon and Google, search the cost to see if I'm being... well you know.  Ken quoted me $760 installed and I found it online for $550+ shipping.  So with install, he's a great price (soon an awesome price, continue reading)!  But it only came with a 1 year warranty.
Ken has a program I can sign up on, he'll clean both my AC units (in the off season), extend the warranty to 5 years, and discount the part by 15% ($114.00 in this case, making the fan thingy $646 installed! ) for $300 more.  Unless you're strapped for cash, this is a no-brainer, do it!  So I did.  Ken went to work, had everything in his truck, got us cooled down in about an hour.
Awesome service, awesome turn around time, awesome hardware price, awesome response time!

So the next day our AC goes out again.  So, here's the bad right?... or is it more Awesomeness?!!

Ken comes over 2 hours after I call, checks the AC unit, finds some wires that might be an issue and replaces them.  Ken then gave a little educational talk about running my dual AC units.  Everything done, how much for the service call and wires?  Just the cold bottles of water!!  No charge for the service call!  No charge for *my* faulty wires that Ken replaced.
That my friends is Awesome Customer Service!

Please remember it's hot out there and Ken is racing around fixing our AC units.  Please put a few cold bottles of water in the fridge for him!

Great company-- Tom is wonderful! He came out of his way to check out our AC situation and give us a quote that was much better than the previous company we had come out for a new one. We got it installed the following week, which is way faster than we thought! They came early in the morning and it was done before the summer heat kicked in! Woohoo to an updated AC! Oh and they fixed a few things that weren't right from the last time someone was up there before we bought the house. They are amazing! And they come to check on the install 2 weeks later. We were recommended to Pineapple because my niece uses them and they like them...We contacted Pineapple on the weekend (we just needed a tune-up) and we were pleasantly surprised to hear back and setting up an appointment during the week...JP came and was very nice, knowledgeable and efficient...We highly recommend and will use them again...

Good communication and professional. Wore his mask the entire time which I very much appreciated due to high risk children in the home. He was honest and straightforward with no pressure. Pricing was very reasonable. Definitely be using him for any future AC emergencies or needs.

I was looking for a contractor to install a complete heating and a/c unit. Calling most of the directory listed companies, I could not get anyone to come out to bid. Then I ran across this new business R&R, what a find! Ray came out as scheduled and on time. He is very knowledgeable and patiently went over the details of his design. I had total confidence in his plan. We scheduled the install and Ray not once disappointed us. He made every appointment and not one late show up. Our system performs perfect! I highly recommend this business.

Feels great to have found my go to heating and AC guy. Kyle is very knowledgeable, prompt to return calls/texts, schedule appointments around your schedule, and has great prices. His honesty and integrity are 2nd to none. We had a couple less then desirable companies come by in the past. Kyle exceeded our expectations in all aspects of the jobs he has done in our home. Even when we were out of town and the AC broke down in 110+ degree temperatures. Kyle came by the same day and made the repair at a very fair price. I can't say enough about Brian and Sorensen's Heating and Cooling! I went back and forth between companies, finally deciding to give Sorensen's a call after reading the yelp reviews.  Brian exceeded my expectations!  He was able to do an evening appointment, which I needed as I work late.  He was clean, respectful, honest, hard-working, and answered all of my many questions.  Brian was personable, knowledgeable, and never tried to pressure me into buying anything.  My furnace is working beautifully now!  Brian also went above and beyond, fixing the cut corners that other technicians had left behind.  What impressed me most about Brian was his commitment to integrity and his care for people ~ his family and his customers.  I will be calling only Sorensen's for all of my future heating and cooling needs.  Thank you, Brian!
