Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

Woke up this morning to a blank thermostat.  I'm not from AZ so I don't have an AC guy or that family recommendation.  Got online and found Joe.  Joe was here in less than an hour.
Found the issue fast and talked me through everything.  Joe knows his stuff and I know more about my AC unit than I did before I called.
Everything's working great again and I have a new friend that can help me if my AC acts up.
We're lucky to have Joe in Scottsdale.

I just love this company!! They totally revamped our entire A/C system including a new unit and an entirely new duct system in 2013. We had messed around with a home warranty company for two years trying to repair an out of date and dilapidated system. Unfortunately, we were lured away by Goettl Air when a plumbing job went south. Friday, 6/24/16, our A/C quit cooling. I called Goettl where I got the run around and was told they could not send a tech out until 7/1/16. Then it would be $79 for a service call. The A/C is still under warranty and we were supposed to have a club membership with them. I told them to forget it.
I called Cool Touch and was told a technician would be out Monday. I have a respiratory condition and if I had remembered to tell them that they would have had someone out to our house the same day. Troy came out Monday. The problem was a manufacture error with a machine weld on a small copper tube. He fixed the problem quickly and recharged the system. Now blessed cool air is flowing through our house once again. The best part is there was no charge for the repair or the service call. It was totally covered under warranty. We immediately signed up for the maintenance contract and will never leave Cool Touch again!!! Another great job, Cool Touch and Troy!!!

Had my hot water heater maintenance done by XCompany which caused a leak on the pressure valve. I was told it would have to be replaced at a cost of 1,800.00 - I got a few more quotes until the price went down to a couple around 1K, including Safe Dry Out.
Safe Dry Out is the only one who bothered to ask what was wrong with the water heater and suggested it could be fixed instead. I went from having to fork out 1,800.00 to only spending 150.00
Mike could have easily gone with the rest and said the only solution was to replace it. This to me shows integrity and honesty. The quality of work was excellent and, to top it off, he was extremely patient with my 80 year old father hanging around. Thank you Mike!
Will definitely call Safe Dry Out for any future plumbing needs.

Needed help with our central air. Derek responded to my Yelp request right away. He got here quickly even before his ETA and was able to assess the situation and help resolve it the same day. He also provided more solutions and ways to improve air later on as needed. He was kind and understanding of my concerns. Would definitely recommend!

Mike was very knowledgeable and willing to explain what he was doing. For a first time homeowner, I like to know what's going on. Respectful, honest and did what I needed him to do. I'll certainly use him again for any AC needs.

The service technicians were quick to respond. They were professional and cost was very reasonable.  I was very pleased with their service, so I had them service my daughters A/C.  They found an issue caused by a previous company that was causing the A/C not to run efficiently.  It was corrected. I will definitely be using their services in the future.

I just bought a home and I wanted duct/vent cleaning to be done on the entire home before I officially move in.

James came right away to do it. He was friendly, made sure to check in with me before any work needing to be done, and provided me with photos/videos with work he's done.

My A/C stopped working, of course, on a Sunday morning.  I called Alternative Air and they picked up the phone within a few rings (I had expected to have to leave a message and wait for someone to get back to me). They dispatched a technician (Ray) within a couple hours and diagnosed the problem quickly. The parts were not on the truck at the time, so he came and fixed the A/C on Monday morning without an additional service charge.

I was extremely impressed many aspects of the service: promptness, courtesy, friendly communications, ease of scheduling, reasonable rates & no extra charge for weekend service.

I will definitely call Alternative Air for any future issues with my HVAC.

We called Baker Heating and Cooling Sunday afternoon (new client). Our AC decided to take a dive.  Of course, Sunday afternoon.

Ken answered the phone (sounded like he was climbing down a ladder), took my name and info and said he would be over in 2 hours. Wow!  Awesome.   Ken comes over, does his thing, says the fan motor thingy (my words) is dead and needs to be replaced.
So I go into stealth mode, hop on amazon and Google, search the cost to see if I'm being... well you know.  Ken quoted me $760 installed and I found it online for $550+ shipping.  So with install, he's a great price (soon an awesome price, continue reading)!  But it only came with a 1 year warranty.
Ken has a program I can sign up on, he'll clean both my AC units (in the off season), extend the warranty to 5 years, and discount the part by 15% ($114.00 in this case, making the fan thingy $646 installed! ) for $300 more.  Unless you're strapped for cash, this is a no-brainer, do it!  So I did.  Ken went to work, had everything in his truck, got us cooled down in about an hour.
Awesome service, awesome turn around time, awesome hardware price, awesome response time!

So the next day our AC goes out again.  So, here's the bad right?... or is it more Awesomeness?!!

Ken comes over 2 hours after I call, checks the AC unit, finds some wires that might be an issue and replaces them.  Ken then gave a little educational talk about running my dual AC units.  Everything done, how much for the service call and wires?  Just the cold bottles of water!!  No charge for the service call!  No charge for *my* faulty wires that Ken replaced.
That my friends is Awesome Customer Service!

Please remember it's hot out there and Ken is racing around fixing our AC units.  Please put a few cold bottles of water in the fridge for him!

Amazing service! They do our AC maintenance and always take care of us.  I don't know anything about AC and how all of that stuff works but everytime I have a question or concern, I know I can always reach out to them and I get an answer or have them come out and check my unit! They are super friendly and very professional!

I hired Pineapple Air Heating and Cooling for a yearly maintenance service. I had a hunch something was awry since my unit had gotten louder and the cooling was far less efficient. They arrived on a Friday and found out that the entire unit was installed incorrectly, was leaking, and cooling the outside air as well. I opted to replace since the unit was 11 years old. They got to work, made the calls and had the custom frame work started same day. They installed the next day and were done by noon. They had the best price and the fastest service by far. I would not use any other company for my heating and cooling needs after this experience. Very polite, professional and fast.

Good communication and professional. Wore his mask the entire time which I very much appreciated due to high risk children in the home. He was honest and straightforward with no pressure. Pricing was very reasonable. Definitely be using him for any future AC emergencies or needs.

Great Company!  Came out quickly and was very fair Pricing and great communication.   Did a tune up on our unit!

Kyle came highly recommended from a friend. When I first contacted him, he responded immediately. He showed up just as he promised and spent alot of time troubleshooting an issue that 3 previous AC techs could not resolve. He found the problem, and did a routine maintenance. He also discovered other issues that could potentially cause problems. He made suggestions, and did not try to sell us anything. Also, he didnt not try to push or sell any warranties or service contracts like many of the larger outfits would do. To say he is honest, professional, dependable, and extremely knowledgeable would be an understatement! I highly recommend recommend Kyle, and I wouldn't use anyone else!

During an air conditioning tuneup being performed by another company, the technician found a bad blower wheel in my air handler. He gave me an (in my humble opinion) outrageous estimate for the repair (almost $600). He actually tried to sell me an entire new system. After he left, I called around for quotes and Sorensen came in at a little over $300, which seemed a little more reasonable. Even though my unit was still functioning, they got me on the schedule the next afternoon. Brian showed up and did a fantastic job, in and out in less then an hour. He showed me the old blower wheel, which was in pretty poor shape, causing my air handler to vibrate when it was running. Needless to say, I highly recommend Sorensen. They are honest, reliable, and won't rip you off!
