Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

OMG!  Can you even imagine both AC units in your home going out on the same day!?  Well, it happened to us.  Thank goodness it wasn't 119* only 108*.  After several bad experiences with the companies that installed the units, my husband and I agreed it was time to find someone else, even though the units are still under warranty.  We were fortunate enough to find Joe.  Called him at approximately 6:15 p.m. on a Friday.  He was finishing up a job and said he'd be there in 20 - 30 minutes, instead of the usual (if you're lucky) sometime in the next couple of days.  As promised, Joe arrived in about 30 minutes, introduced himself, asked a few questions and got to work.  By 8:30 we had, cool air coming from both units and he also fixed a long standing clatter from one of the units.  The company who had installed that particular unit has been out twice to find and fix the noise.  The repair lasted about a week each time!

Joe is honest, not something usually associated with AC repair, particularly here in the Valley where they know you're at their mercy.  Additionally, he is knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and did not tack on after hours fees.  When you want a guy who can get the job done, don't look any further!

Being new to the sw via Washington State I was on a steep learning curve for a/c issues. After another vendor tried to upsell me I interviewed two others. Shawn met with me and provided excellent information that a layman would understand. Upon further review I opted to replace my older system and was amazed at the installation process. Henderson & Sam arrived on time and after 8 hours of professional hustle the job was done including cleanup. As a newbie I highly recommend this company for price and services

Mark did an excellent job replacing our 40 gallon  water heater. He came on time and completed the job in no time. Mark is very pleasant and I highly recommend his company

Needed help with our central air. Derek responded to my Yelp request right away. He got here quickly even before his ETA and was able to assess the situation and help resolve it the same day. He also provided more solutions and ways to improve air later on as needed. He was kind and understanding of my concerns. Would definitely recommend!

I can't say enough good things about how professional Mike was on fixing my AC unit.  I was able to text him the issue and he just knew what was happening with the unit.  He also helped answer question on a room that wasn't getting enough cold air and did some tricks to help fix the issue.  Also gave my AC unit a good cleaning and fixed some wiring he seen that wasn't done right while he was here. I can say now my AC unit is working better then it has worked before.  Also watch who you call here in phoenix  because I had another guy come out saying he couldn't fix my ac unit and would need to replace the full thing where cooler tymes was able to fix it.

The service technicians were quick to respond. They were professional and cost was very reasonable.  I was very pleased with their service, so I had them service my daughters A/C.  They found an issue caused by a previous company that was causing the A/C not to run efficiently.  It was corrected. I will definitely be using their services in the future.

James was awesome. My father, who is on hospice, AC had stopped working. I had another company out that said the part was at least 2 weeks out and the fix would be $1700 and seemed to just want to convince me it would be faster and overall less expensive to buy a new unit. I reached out to various companies through yelp to see if anyone had the part. No one did but James asked if he could call to discuss. James had a can do attitude. With or without the part he was certain he could get the air working. He made some calls and called me back the same day with a solution. He sent Justin out the next day and the AC was fixed. James went above and beyond in helping, finding a solution and getting it fixed quickly. Justin was kind, professional and informative. Hopefully wont need to, but would definitely  use again and recommend!

Needing an Air Conditioning repairman equals the question Can I trust them?  I live miles out of town, and too often when I hire someone, they simply don't show up and won't return my calls after they learn how far I am.  Alternative Air kept me updated on their progress with their previous appointment and showed up exactly on time.  Ten minutes later, the job was done.  All I needed was a new capacitor.

I found Ken on home advisor. He called me back right away and he scheduled an appointment and arrived on time.  He did a great job being patient and explaining what he was doing on my unit. He cleaned the attic Evaporation coil. LOOKS LIKE NEW. I will definitely call Ken again for service. ***** 5 stars!! Thank you!!

I had someone out to my house in just a few hours and my AC back in good condition all in the same day. Prices seemed fair and the technician was polite and professional.

Good communication and professional. Wore his mask the entire time which I very much appreciated due to high risk children in the home. He was honest and straightforward with no pressure. Pricing was very reasonable. Definitely be using him for any future AC emergencies or needs.

Our wall unit gas heater wasn't working.  Ray responded quickly, scheduled an inspection, showed up on time, repaired the heater, and charged a reasonable price.

An honest and reliable company run by a man who once served his country and now serves his community.  Very impressed by the level of professionalism, along with the honesty and transparency related to our service- it was very much appreciated! I always hate when I have to call a repair guy and then dread that feeling that I've been taken advantage of- it feels good to have someone to call that has integrity and the best interests of his customers in mind! This company shoots straight and tells the customer like it is. The A/C tech Brian was very knowledgeable and works very efficiently! I would recommend Sorensen Heating and Cooling to anyone that needs good work done at a fair price.
