480-406-7487.  He came out, was friendly, very good diagnostician, said my problem could be resolved with a defrost and if that didn't work, call him to come back.  He waived his fee for the visit!  He was correct and it works now, hooray.

This is one great contractor to have inspect, service or replace your system. The technicians were Honest, Truthful, and true to their word. I would call or hire nobody else in the Payson area. PLEASE Give them a chance to earn your trust in great local Ac/Heating Contractor, I recommend them 110%.

Great service from Nick and his company, I literally texted him nextdoor this morning, he responded very fast, and was at my house in 2 hours to fix our AC unit, now it starts and operates much better, much quieter. Joe and his Son came out today to check on our A/C system today which appeared to be slower then normal. We were very impressed with their service and knowledge. We moved into our 20 year old house 10 months ago and had the system serviced at that time by a different company . At that time we indicated that the airflow in our Master B/R was insufficient.  The guy told us to change the registers which we did with little difference. Today Joe offered several reasons for this issue and checked on the ducting. He said excess ducting appeared to be the issue. He was also able to check the system and indicate the reason the a/c appeared hesitant to kick in this afternoon. He made several suggestions to improve its efficiency, keeping doors open and opening all of the vents etc. We realize that eventually the 20 year old system would need to be replaced but he didn't try to sell us anything immediately. We appreciated his thoroughness ( including climbing into that hot attic) and honesty. His price for the service call was reasonable too.

James came by in the middle of summer- at 330 pm ( heat of the day) and got up on our roof and did an amazing job cleaning the coils - inside and out, checked my system and said said everything was working perfectly. Thank you for your hard work! he was recommended through a friend- so I am recommending his service to everyone!! Thank you again so much!

I had recently purchased a smart thermostat for our rental home & needed an AC professional to come install the unit as we were unable to do so ourselves.  Ecobee offers HomeAdvisor as an option to help look for technicians within your area that can help with the install.  Within 5 min of speaking with the representative from HomeAdvisor, I got a phone call and text from 480 Mechanical following up on the request.  I called back and was immediately able to schedule for a technician to come install the thermostat same day, as they had an available window.  From the time that I booked with the company to the time the technician arrived, I was updated on his ETA.  The service technician that installed our unit was Dominic.  Dominic was very informative and helped us understand the different functions of the smart thermostat that we had purchased.  He also gave us helpful tips as we are first time AZ residents. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs professional AC assistance.

Been using Comfort One for years. They're honest and answer my questions. Dealt with other AC businesses and Comfort One is just better.

Recently bought a new AC and it's been working great. I recommend them to my family. It's nice to know I don't have to worry about my AC anymore.

I called in yesterday and spoke to Amy about an ac problem (fan was blowing but the air wasn't cool). She recommended something I could do on my own so that I could save money on the service charge (which I thought was so sweet of her). I still had to end up getting the repair, so the next day Chuck came by and I also got to meet Mark. Both were extremely friendly and very helpful. The problem was solved in less than an hour.

Overall, service was great. The price was more than reasonable (service charge plus price of a replacement part). They gave me their honest opinions and made me feel like I could trust them. I would definitely call them again and would also recommend them to anyone!

We live in a home where Chas Roberts installed the AC so we knew there would be issues but the first year was even worse than we thought. We had to call them out multiple times with the issues we were having and each time they said they fixed the problem. Too bad it was never actually fixed. I don't know if they were lying, incompetent, or both, but I got sick of it so I had Rustys come take a look. They found the actual issue within 20 minutes which Chas Roberts took multiple visits to miss. Chas Roberts told me I would have to wait 5 months for them to come and fix a mistake they created so I had Rustys fix it at a great price in less than a week. Rustys should be the go-to fix for all the shortcut problems and run-around games that these big HVAC companies try and pull with their customers. Our house feels comfortable for the first time since we moved in thanks to Rustys.

I had an original separate company diagnose what was wrong with my ac it took them 3 visits before they told what was wrong with it and they charged almost triple the cost Overson did. he came over within 24 hours took a look and got me squared away. Will definitely only go to them for all my hvac needs

Wish I could give a better review but the dude never showed up. I don't understand people that set appointments and don't follow through. The awful part is that he had my address and phone number, and who knows what he'll do with it. He didn't call, didn't message, nothing. I finally responded through Yelp and told him I was sorry that he didn't show and that we would be seeking assistance from another business. His response was a vague sorry for the inconvenience. No reason, no explanation, nothing. Do NOT recommend using this business.

Sam responded extremely quickly and stayed responsive until we had an appointment scheduled for the very next day.   He came out and brought his son as well as a teaching opportunity.  He fixed the issue within minutes and cost was under the estimate which he didn't have to do.  He lives in the community and left his card.  Great experience and would recommend to anyone.  Will certainly be using for all future plumbing needs.  Thank you Sam!

Huge shout out to these guys.  I returned from a vacation and found that the thermostat had been damaged by a recent storm.  Needless to say the house was very hot!  Within 90 minutes of my call, they were on site, went the extra mile to get a temporary stat to get me cool, and then replaced the original one the following day.  What really got me was that they could easily have said that they would have me up and running the following day when they got the part, and I would have expected that.  But, the didn't.  They went to the  effort of getting a substitute part immediately, and actually had to do the work twice just so I could sleep cool that night.  This was all at no cost to me since the system was under warranty, therefore, the didn't get any additional revenue for the extra work.  Very responsive to say the least!

Hired this company to check out my AC units for preventive maintenance. Jason came out and proceeded to perform test on air flow and temperature. He directed my attention to the upstairs unit, which had air blowing out from the cabinet instead of through the duct. He said there was a gap in the back of the unit which do to the tight space he couldn't completely fix but could attach a piece of sheet metal to help reduce this loss of airflow.
Having done this you could tell that it did help and made a difference in the other rooms.
Now to the price. I was pleasantly surprised that the charges were very reasonable. Although I did not require refrigerant. That can be costly.
Jason was knowledgeable answered any questions I had and I appreciated that he treated my questions with respect. He was great and I would highly recommend this company and will keep their contact info handy for the next seasons service.

Excellent job. Very personable. Would highly recommend. Fixed my old washing machine in very little time and it is working good as new.

Robert came out and explained everything wrong with my ac he showed us pictures and explained it all that i needed a new ac he was able to get that done within days of service. they came out and put new ac on my roof everything was easy from start to finish  Robert and emergency air was great

Edit#2:  brand new a/c installed in Jan and now we have dirty sock syndrome or something. 3 visits and still no resolution and zero communication from the owner. We had to pay for a second opinion to get a warranty request started with Trane. Hopefully they can figure it out.

Edit:  I have to update this review. Turns out the employees (maybe just one?) who they sent out to replace ALL the ducts actually lied to us and stated that all ducts were changed out. We had a smoke smell issue and specifically did the ducts for this reason. The QC check missed this oversight and we were told, yes they are all new. My husband had painted the old ducts w Killz and he pointed out that the 2 harder to get to ducts still looked like the ones he sealed. QC said it was the paint or (I forget the technical term) they used and yes, they were all new. We sent pictures to the owner who did, in fact, determine the ducts were not new. Part of the original crew were sent out to rectify it. They pulled out quite a bit of old duct work.  They are lucky my husband is nice and professional. He had to take another half day off work to watch them and be sure it was done right. I would've asked why they lied right to my face. We went with the highest bid on this job because we trusted the company and was impressed by their technical expertise. Very disappointed.  I guess the lesson is if you aren't doing it yourself (and paying over $10K!!) for a service, you better watch every step of the way.

I am a repeat customer with Yavapai Plumbing & Heating.  I had one of their techs come out for a washer/dryer problem and to put faucet handles on sink in laundry room.  I had to purchase the faucet from another company.  The charge was outrageous and I complained about it.  They agreed and a credit was given.  That was the second or third time I had used them.  The next time I needed my heating thermostat replaced.  They came out, did the job - no problems.  I called them to get a price on a reverse osmosis system under my kitchen sink.  Not only would they not give me one over the phone, but they wanted to charge me $49 to send someone out to give me the estimate.   I have lived up here for 3 years and they are the only plumbing & heating service I have used.  That is about to change.

My experience is the complete opposite of either here.  Recently sold home and bought condo in Fountain HIlls.  Condo has original Trane XE1000 split unit.  AC still working but called Discount Air for maintenance and estimate to replace.  Not a matter of if but when.  The son came out and provided an estimate which seemed fair.  However, after looking at the units, I was told it was not heat capable.   Outside AC unit was air compressor only and no heat strips in heater.  Say what?   Called the home inspector who had his AC guy come out.  Switch behind thermostat needed to be flipped and panel in split system in attic needed to be opened and heater turned on.  Worse thing was that I emailed the company about this and absolutely no reply.  While I have read nothing but good things about this local company, I would not use them again.
