Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

I started off by requesting an estimate for a dryer repair through Yelp.com and Felix Appliance Repair (FAR) was quick to answer $89 and if they did the repair the estimate gets absorbed into the overall cost. We set the schedule, the technician gave me an advanced notice that he was on the way, and the technician (Joey) showed up on time. I like that the technician or company sends a picture of the tech coming out and a synopsis of his background. Although Joey was wearing a Golden Sword Service shirt (not sure what the relationship is with FAR) he was professional, communicated the issues well, ordered the part, and was able to fix the issue the next day.

I used this family-owned company 3 times and I trust them 100%! Jeremy and his father Jerry are really great, knowledgeable, and efficient!!!!

Great service from Nick and his company, I literally texted him nextdoor this morning, he responded very fast, and was at my house in 2 hours to fix our AC unit, now it starts and operates much better, much quieter. Wise Mechanical came through for us again with a quick response and quality service.  This time to replace the motor in our condenser that provides A/C to our room addition.  They are the best!!

James came by in the middle of summer- at 330 pm ( heat of the day) and got up on our roof and did an amazing job cleaning the coils - inside and out, checked my system and said said everything was working perfectly. 480 Mechanical is fantastic. From the office staff to the technician- friendly, knowledgeable & helpful.  AC & Heater issues are never fun or timely.  However, Dominic was quick to respond, explained everything thoroughly & made the situation painless. He did a great job & I highly recommend 480 Mechanical.

I highly recommend Comfort One Air Conditioning. I had trouble getting other companies to return my calls to schedule a yearly AC checkup. Comfort One returned my phone call right away and scheduling was easy.  The technician was polite, professional, and respectful.  Very pleased with them -  great customer service!

I cannot say enough great things about this company. They installed a new heat pump ahead of schedule without any surprises. Mark was anal about making sure I was getting the exact options I wanted. They cleaned up every bit of construction debris and made sure to have a fire extinguisher on hand for the soldering. He also corrected some problems with a two year old unit that was installed by someone else. Very difficult to find honesty and integrity when dealing with Phoenix area A/C companies. They are a small operation but it is worth the wait to have Mark and Amy work on your system.

We live in a home where Chas Roberts installed the AC so we knew there would be issues but the first year was even worse than we thought. We had to call them out multiple times with the issues we were having and each time they said they fixed the problem. Too bad it was never actually fixed. I don't know if they were lying, incompetent, or both, but I got sick of it so I had Rustys come take a look. They found the actual issue within 20 minutes which Chas Roberts took multiple visits to miss. Chas Roberts told me I would have to wait 5 months for them to come and fix a mistake they created so I had Rustys fix it at a great price in less than a week. Rustys should be the go-to fix for all the shortcut problems and run-around games that these big HVAC companies try and pull with their customers. Our house feels comfortable for the first time since we moved in thanks to Rustys.

I had an original separate company diagnose what was wrong with my ac it took them 3 visits before they told what was wrong with it and they charged almost triple the cost Overson did. he came over within 24 hours took a look and got me squared away. Will definitely only go to them for all my hvac needs

Would give zero stars if possible because ZERO is exactly what we got from this company.  Spoke with Steve & per his request I sent him pictures and written details of about the job scope so he could prepare a relatively solid quote and let me know if the job was too big, too small, or something his company would take on.  Said he would get back to me with estimate.  Well, that never happened.  My husband gave him the benefit of the doubt because it was close to the holidays.  Nope, a month goes by and the holidays are over and still nothing.  No reply to my telephone voicemails, no reply to my text messages, no follow up contact whatsoever.  As I said to him in my text message of January 12, 2023, 'obviously our money is not green enough' for him.  And even with that, he did not have the decency to respond.  He obviously does not know the definition of Dynamic, but their business name is royal BS.

Sam was fantastic! I needed to replace three toilets so I solicited a number of quotes. Sam's quote came in on the lower end but after reading his reviews I thought I would give him a chance. I was not disappointed. He was very responsive. He set an appointment, showed up on time and actually charged me a bit less than quoted. I would absolutely recommend him!

Homeadvisor.com estimates repairs to a home a.c. as follows:  A/C compressor repair hard start kit: $100-$250. Capacitor or contactor replacement: $90-$400. Home air compressor replacement: $1350-$1800, depending on size and type. Evaporator coil replacement: $650-$1200.

They replaced my compressor for $2,000.00. They had an opportunity to exceed my expectations and chose not to. I had a problem, they solved it.

This company has serviced my A.C. and installed my A.C. for the past 3 years.   They are always prompt in returning phone calls and are always willing to go the extra mile for the customer.   I highly recommend Desert Foothills

I started using Emergency Air a couple of years ago to perform pre season checks on my heating and cooling system.  The first service call was fine since then their service has gone from good to bad.

I had a service appointment today and the tech was 2 hours late then, when he arrived, he told me that I did not need to have my system serviced and that he had other appointments.

Emergency Air if you don't want to service systems then why, when I need a new heating and cooling system, would I consider you?  I contacted the company to speak with the owner and was advised that the owner does not take calls from customers.  

If you are looking for dependable service for you cooling and heating system stay away from this company...they are undependable and poorly managed

Upon SRP's recommendation, I hired Brewer's to install my new $6500 AC unit 6/17/2010. They offered a 10 year No Hassle Warranty that I was told by my service rep would include EVERYTHING! When less then 13 months after my installation & only one month after my Maintenence Check-up, my compressor goes on a Saturday morning, I'm told there will be a $150 after hours fee (that includes the part warehouse fee if need be). Because I am surprised by this fee given what my rep had explained to me about my no hassle warranty, I am told the owner Tim has waived my fee this ONE time as a courtesy. Then, when they finally (next day-Sunday, not same day-Saturday) come out to repair, I'm told it will be $100 to fix today to get into part warehouse (owner is NOT covering after hours fee afterall)! Besides owner Tim, promising to waive fee & then changing his mind when there was actually a repair to be made, I was treated as an inconvenience at every turn. It was clear I was an annoyance in their weekend (never did I get so much as an apology for a 1 year old unit's compressor going!). Both the customer service rep & the owner Tim cut me off repeatedly & talked down to me as if I were undeserving of their respect. I can not tell you how insulted & upset I feel. I will never use Brewer's again (I need a new unit on my other side too). I highly recommend that anyone interested in using them be cautious. Their sales men make you feel all cozy & confident then they treat you like dirt!

Both Jeremy and Chris did a great job of installing our new gas furnace and central air conditioning unit. They communicated well and they did their work professionally at our home. We are now prepared for any type of climate change. Thank you, Yavapai plumbing and heating.

Mike and his partner did show up on time and did get my AC working again. I thought he overcharged for the parts. He used two Capacitors to replace one that was bad. I paid $560 and they did not even clean the unit, did not even take out the leaves that had built up let alone clean the unit itself. Five weeks later it went out again and when I called him, he didn't even offer to come and look at it. Fortunately, I had bought a home service warranty so I wound not overpay again.
