I have used  Wise Mechanical a few times for my air conditioning unit going out in the middle of summer. Both times, Joe was extremely prompt getting back to me and had the problem fixed within a few hours. He also seemed to be genuinely concerned about getting my system up and running as fast as possible so I could stay in my home comfortably. I would absolutely recommend Wise Mechanical and will use them in the future for any problems that may come up.

James came by in the middle of summer- at 330 pm ( heat of the day) and got up on our roof and did an amazing job cleaning the coils - inside and out, checked my system and said said everything was working perfectly. I have used Taps, the owner, for over five years for all my HVAC needs. I followed him from his previous company once he started his own business. I live in an older home with a goofy system that had vexed the other AC techs that tried to work on it -- but not Taps. He is the most get it done contractor I've ever worked with. He always does everything he can to keep costs down without ever sacrificing quality.

Taps gets to us so quickly, even during the hottest times when things are busiest, and has what he needs on his truck to gets things fixed then and there. He is extremely proactive with communication and he shows up when he says he will. He is professional but friendly and never makes you feel bad, even when you have six inches of dog fur all over your coils.

I highly recommend Comfort One and Taps. I am a loyal customer for life.

I called in yesterday and spoke to Amy about an ac problem (fan was blowing but the air wasn't cool). She recommended something I could do on my own so that I could save money on the service charge (which I thought was so sweet of her). I still had to end up getting the repair, so the next day Chuck came by and I also got to meet Mark. Both were extremely friendly and very helpful. The problem was solved in less than an hour.

Overall, service was great. The price was more than reasonable (service charge plus price of a replacement part). They gave me their honest opinions and made me feel like I could trust them. I would definitely call them again and would also recommend them to anyone!

Rusty came to our rescue late on a Friday afternoon, after we received an exorbitant quote from another company. He was friendly, professional, and helped us out with some coolant to last us until he could get the needed parts and replace them.
Since we were experiencing 100 degree days without air conditioning, that was a huge blessing!  The other company was going to charge us at least 1/3 more than Rusty and they did not supply us with emergency coolant. Pretty bum deal when we had used them a few times,  and come to find out we were overcharged for a bandaid service than an actual fix.
You can trust Rusty to be fair and honest!

I had an original separate company diagnose what was wrong with my ac it took them 3 visits before they told what was wrong with it and they charged almost triple the cost Overson did. he came over within 24 hours took a look and got me squared away. Will definitely only go to them for all my hvac needs

Chris and his team were amazing. They tore down the wall that divided the kitchen and living room. We were told by a different contractor that we couldn't take the wall out since the plumbing was in a post tension slab. But Chris had his guys come x-ray the floor and they moved everything over. Definitely recommend AZ Dynamic Builders!

I had a bit of a leaky valve emergency, but the plumber couldn't make it until two days later. So instead, he talked me through repairing the valve myself, and which one to buy at Home Depot. I followed his advice and fixed the problem myself. He saved me a couple hundred bucks for a house call. Outstanding!

Homeadvisor.com estimates repairs to a home a.c. as follows:  A/C compressor repair hard start kit: $100-$250. Capacitor or contactor replacement: $90-$400. Home air compressor replacement: $1350-$1800, depending on size and type. Evaporator coil replacement: $650-$1200.

They replaced my compressor for $2,000.00. They had an opportunity to exceed my expectations and chose not to. I had a problem, they solved it.

I had a rental that suddenly had the air conditioning STOP WORKING when it was 120 degrees out.  They were referred to me by another air conditioning company (which is amazing) and I ended up dealing with the owner of the company who personally drove and got the unit and COMPLETED THE installation in less than 20 hrs. of getting my call.  They are EXCEPTIONAL and THEIR PRICING IS AWESOME!  I compared their pricing to another company, who was giving me preferred pricing and this company was only $50 more than the other company AND THEY DID MORE AND PUT A BETTER UNIT IN the home.  They are honest and gave GOOD VIBES from the very 1st call!  I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.  Thank you DESERT FOOTHILLS AIR CONDITIONING!

Ordered up service via my father's friend Joy and I'm so happy with the service. Top loader washing machine stopped spinning. I left a message and got quick call back to schedule an estimate. He overlooked the situation and figured out the part that needed replacement. Ordered it up and service was completed the following day.  This is a owner operator company and Laron gives a discount for cash pay. Very professional and priced right. I would use his services again.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

We had these guys install a brand new A/C a month ago for $6700. This weekend, our one month brand new unit died, and we immediately called for assistance, as we have a 10-year warranty with the unit. The service techs and install guys are friendly, so no complaint there... But these people did us wrong, and they were very disrespectful to us over the phone. We had to go stay in a hotel over night, since they couldn't come out until 8AM Saturday morning. We took our puppy with us to the hotel. Unfortunately, we had to leave our guinea pig at home, but the house was not burning up, since we left everything shut. We returned the next morning at 8AM, eagerly awaiting their call. By 10AM, it was over 95 degrees in our home and no repair crew! Our guinea pig was still active and making her noises. We fed her, and made sure she had a fan hitting her. By 12... Still no service crew. We called, and they had the audacity to tell us that their repair man was working on another A/C for someone until 3AM, and had to sleep, he'll be there today! She placed me on hold without even asking, and was quite firm about saying things like well it's summer, and A/Cs are working extra hard and we have a heavy workload... But no apologies, just cookie cutter answers and rudeness. Our guinea pig finally started not responding, and we had a friend rush over and take her out of the house. The A/C guy showed up at 3PM! This is after the company setup our expectations for 8AM... We had to spend one more night in a hotel while our home got back cooled down, and at 4AM, our guinea pig died of heat stress! Of course it's no big deal to them, and an apology was all they could offer! Probably some folks reading this think of this as a silly rant or worthless complaint, but pets are living! She was as much a family member as any human being, and because of their unprofessional work (or lack thereof) we now no longer have a guinea pig. If there was a legal action we could take, we'd do it, but there's no law stating that they did anything wrong, and lawyers would simply laugh. If you have pets... RUN FROM THIS COMPANY! Find a company with hearts that care!

Recently scheduled multiple houses to get serviced.  My main house was serviced fine by a knowledgable technician.  The other property is where I had major headaches.  My first appointment I was called during the time window and asked to reschedule.  My second appointment a new technician performed the wrong services where a unit he was not supposed to touch was impacted such that many components failed and I had nearly $2K in expenses to repair it.  

I tried to handle the issue directly with the Owner (Mark), but he blew me off.  When they ignored my issue, I turned to the BBB for help.  I worked with Robert Moreno and checked in about every 10 days with very little feedback.  After 30 days I escalated my issue to the director of conciliation Michelle Marin and got the following reponse:

Hi Larry,
Thank you for reaching out to BBB. I apologize that your complaint is taking longer than expected. The business has communicated that there may be further delays due to matters outside of their control. If you wish to pursue your complaint with other avenues, you're more than welcome to do so. Please know that as soon as we receive another update from the business, you will be notified. Again, I apologize for the frustration behind the delay.

Matters outside their control?  After 30 days of putting this off they can simply state that and get off the hook?  I looked at Brewer's AC facebook page and saw that just 6 days ago they posted a picture for International Beer Day, but during that time didn't have time to respond to a legitimate customer complaint.  Appears they have been paying their dues for 38 years so why do anything about it?  Gotta pay those execs somehow...

It's too bad Brewer's has lost their touch with their great service.  I would really avoid using them until they straighten things out over there.

Very disappointed unfortunately. Tried charging me for repairs that were done without my consent. We asked for an estimate on a house we were LOOKING TO BUY. We don't own the house yet and asked for an estimate only to give us due diligence to use to negotiate with the seller on. They did not not check all of the bathrooms the first day and went out again a 2nd day, trying to charge 2 service call fees ($80 each day). Then on top of that, they tried charging $160 on the 2nd visit to REPLACE THE FLAPPERS in all of the bathrooms WITHOUT CALLING ME FIRST.

I would not have authorized fixing flappers because I don't even own the house yet plus I could do that myself.

After calling to question the charges, the woman on the phone was condescending and resistant to answering questions. She also said the reason he didn't check the last toilet was because the door was closed. (THIS IS AN EMPTY VACANT HOUSE!!!!) When she would answer, the answers kept changing.

She finally agreed to only charge me for the one service fee and said she would note it in their files to NEVER SERVICE anything for me ever again so don't call them. Feeling is mutual.

2 stars because the flappers do function.

My experience is the complete opposite of either here.  Recently sold home and bought condo in Fountain HIlls.  Condo has original Trane XE1000 split unit.  AC still working but called Discount Air for maintenance and estimate to replace.  Not a matter of if but when.  The son came out and provided an estimate which seemed fair.  However, after looking at the units, I was told it was not heat capable.   Outside AC unit was air compressor only and no heat strips in heater.  Say what?   Called the home inspector who had his AC guy come out.  Switch behind thermostat needed to be flipped and panel in split system in attic needed to be opened and heater turned on.  Worse thing was that I emailed the company about this and absolutely no reply.  While I have read nothing but good things about this local company, I would not use them again.
