I just wanted to let everyone know just how HONEST and Professional this company is.
I called Felix to schedule a repair on my stove as I was getting yellow flames and not the regular blue flame on my burners.
The woman making my appointment asked me to hold on a moment while she spoke to the technician. In a moment she was backing asking if we were using a humidifier at our home.
She said that the technician had said that if this were the case, the extra humidity would cause the flames to be yellow.
She suggested we stop using the humidifier for a few days and see if the problem would correct itself which is in fact what happened.
This company passed on the opportunity to charge a fee for a house call knowing that there was no problem with the stove.
This is honesty and professionalism at its best!
You can be sure that I will recommend and use Felix Appliance Heating & Air in the future should the need arise.

This is one great contractor to have inspect, service or replace your system. The technicians were Honest, Truthful, and true to their word. I would call or hire nobody else in the Payson area. PLEASE Give them a chance to earn your trust in great local Ac/Heating Contractor, I recommend them 110%.

Great service from Nick and his company, I literally texted him nextdoor this morning, he responded very fast, and was at my house in 2 hours to fix our AC unit, now it starts and operates much better, much quieter. Joe and his Son came out today to check on our A/C system today which appeared to be slower then normal. We were very impressed with their service and knowledge. We moved into our 20 year old house 10 months ago and had the system serviced at that time by a different company . At that time we indicated that the airflow in our Master B/R was insufficient.  The guy told us to change the registers which we did with little difference. Today Joe offered several reasons for this issue and checked on the ducting. He said excess ducting appeared to be the issue. He was also able to check the system and indicate the reason the a/c appeared hesitant to kick in this afternoon. He made several suggestions to improve its efficiency, keeping doors open and opening all of the vents etc. We realize that eventually the 20 year old system would need to be replaced but he didn't try to sell us anything immediately. We appreciated his thoroughness ( including climbing into that hot attic) and honesty. His price for the service call was reasonable too.

James came by in the middle of summer- at 330 pm ( heat of the day) and got up on our roof and did an amazing job cleaning the coils - inside and out, checked my system and said said everything was working perfectly. Thank you for your hard work! he was recommended through a friend- so I am recommending his service to everyone!! Thank you again so much!

My services from 480 Mechanical went perfectly. Dominic was on time and thorough with his work to ensure that my AC would run COLD! I ran my AC for a while after the initial service, and had a different issue arise. Dominic was able to make time to check on the leak and fix that, too! Thank you so much for the prompt help! Definitely use 480 Mechanical if you have any AC needs!

Beat the heat! This family owned business is one of the best when it comes to heating, cooling and customer service! Would highly recommend this business to all my friends and family which means you should give them a call if your in the need for any of the services they offer!!

Truly one of the best repair experiences we have ever had. We have had Tyler come out twice now to repair separate air conditioners.  Such a professional and cordial technician. Efficient and honest.  We felt that each time and also in dealing with the owners and their desire to actually help us honestly and not ripping us off by selling something we didn't  need.    They were so quick to fit us in on a repair during recent 115 degree heat. Can't say enough good about this company. Will never call anyone else but them!

We live in a home where Chas Roberts installed the AC so we knew there would be issues but the first year was even worse than we thought. We had to call them out multiple times with the issues we were having and each time they said they fixed the problem. Too bad it was never actually fixed. I don't know if they were lying, incompetent, or both, but I got sick of it so I had Rustys come take a look. They found the actual issue within 20 minutes which Chas Roberts took multiple visits to miss. Chas Roberts told me I would have to wait 5 months for them to come and fix a mistake they created so I had Rustys fix it at a great price in less than a week. Rustys should be the go-to fix for all the shortcut problems and run-around games that these big HVAC companies try and pull with their customers. Our house feels comfortable for the first time since we moved in thanks to Rustys.

I had an original separate company diagnose what was wrong with my ac it took them 3 visits before they told what was wrong with it and they charged almost triple the cost Overson did. he came over within 24 hours took a look and got me squared away. Will definitely only go to them for all my hvac needs

The folks here showed up on time, we're very professional, and were flexible on dates. They even offered to do what they could to help accommodate our son who has special needs. They did a fantastic job and we would definitely hire them again.

The faucet in my bathtub/shower locked up and would not turn on.  I put out for a bid on Yelp and saw NPA had 5 stars and called them.  Sam told me what to do and how to buy the replacement parts so I went to home depot and purchased the parts.  Sam and his son showed up the next day and fixed the faucet.  We even made plans for additional work I will have him perform in both bathrooms in the near future!  

NP&A is exactly the kind of company everyone needs for their plumber!  I could not be more happy and appreciative to find them.  I highly recommend them for everyone looking for a exceptional plumber with exceptional business practices of honesty and reliability!  I would give Neighborhood Plumbing and Air a 10-star rating if possible!!

Homeadvisor.com estimates repairs to a home a.c. as follows:  A/C compressor repair hard start kit: $100-$250. Capacitor or contactor replacement: $90-$400. Home air compressor replacement: $1350-$1800, depending on size and type. Evaporator coil replacement: $650-$1200.

They replaced my compressor for $2,000.00. They had an opportunity to exceed my expectations and chose not to. I had a problem, they solved it.

We have used these guys a number of times. They always do their best to schedule you the same day and are always on time. Their work is always the best with no surprises and prices are never exorbitant.

Not a good review...came home early to make sure that I was here for an around 6 appointment.  I sent an email at 6:30 to see if we were still on and wasn't called until after to say that it would be at least 1/2 hour more.

Very knowledgeable workers, reliable, honest and trustworthy, we have recommended and will continue to recommend all family and friends needing ac repair!

We had them quote us over the phone and then changed the price once they arrived. Classic bait and switch! We turned them down for servicing. They promised no charge for inspection, but once they learned that we weren't going to hire them, they insisted on a 99 dollar inspection charge.(No invoice was received) We refused to pay and to add insult to injury, they increased the inspection to 124 dollars and sent it directly to a collection company without prior attempts to settle the outrageous bill. Bad business practices! Avoid like the plague! Will report to the BBB.

Over the last couple of years my air conditioning unit, (BRYANT), installed by Yavapai Plumbing and Heating in 2013, has exhibited a reduction in cooling ability.  Previous service calls resulted in the addition of small amounts of refrigerant, with at least one case potentially attributed to loose fittings that allowed refrigerant to leak out.
A similar condition presented itself again last week and the technician. Jose', evaluated the condition and added 0.5 pounds of refrigerant.  BUT, he explained that the system was most likely being starved due to a fouled/failed thermal expansion valve (TXV) and liquid line drier problem Jose' is a courteous technician who took the time to explain the problem and today he replaced the drier and TXV.  It appears my cooling issue is resolved!  Jose' arrived when he said he would, was respectful of social distancing and cleaned up after himself. I typically do not give 5 star ratings, but Yavapai Plumbing and Heating is fortunate to have Jose' on their team.  Thanks Jose'!
