Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

We were told by an AC company selected by our home warranty company that we had little to no insulation in our home. Larson AC sent Jason out to do a free inspection and provide us with a quote at which time not only did he let me know that the amount of insulation was good, he also took pictures to show me. He was thorough, courteous and wore foot protection so that he didn't track anything in and out of the house. I highly recommend this company and will refer them to family, friends and clients. I got two other bids and wasn't pleased about the other companies online reviews.  I checked Yelp and Angie's List and found American Home Water and Air.  I completed the online 'contact me' form on Saturday, and wasn't expecting a call until Monday.  Sunday morning Tom called me and said he could come out that day if I wanted; which I did.  Tom looked at my house and made his recommendations.  He didn't try and push anything on me, he just told me what the prices were; which were less than my other two bids.  The following day Fidel & Javier showed up and did the install.  I was at work, but my wife said they did a great job.  When I got home and looked at the installation (Soft water system with chlorine filter and RO system), I was impressed with the cleanliness of the install.  Will definitely use them again for any of my plumbing, heating, or AC concerns!!

We never had a fridge problem before, so this was our first time figuring out who to contact and eventually trust. The guy came early- within the 4 hour window. He was super nice and there's an $80 fee; however, it'll go towards the service. I'll definitely be using their service next time.

Our AC went out on a Saturday night and he Phillip came out right away and went out to get the part. He got it done by 10pm on that sake Saturday night and was very nice and professional. He was very affordable and flexible. The next night our breaker box was broken so we called him to ask if it could have anything to do with the AC, and he said it didn't. He even called us the next morning to see if we got the breaker box and if there was anything he could do. He and his staff were great and we would recommend him to anyone and would use him again if needed (although we hope we don't have it break again ).

Johnny's Air Conditioning is FANTASTIC!!  This is the second time I have had an A/C stop working on an extremely hot day.  The first call was in 2021 and, after calling several companies, I called Johnny and was delighted by the quick response, quality work, and fair pricing.

I had another breakdown today (different property), and this time, my first and only call was to Johnny's.  I called at 12:36 p.m. and Johnny arrived 30 minutes later.  He diagnosed the problem, replaced a part, and in under an hour, had my unit working again.

In today's world, service like Johnny's is almost unheard of.  He is the BEST and has my highest recommendation.  Thank you, Johnny!!

I would definitely recommend Hays to someone with heating or cooling issues.  Mike came out right away and fixed the a/c unit and explained exactly what the problem was.  We are in a condominium unit where the units are not easy to get to.  Mike had a 32 foot ladder which he used to climb up on the roof and take care of things.  We will certainly recommend Hays Cooling & Heating to our friends!

They were very reaposive and gave us info to help get the blower replaced. Maria was awesome, kind and good follow up. Thank you your old school customer service.

We set up a summer readiness appointment and Byron was the technician that showed up. We couldn't have been more happy with the check-up. He offered us simply the check-up but also made us aware of service plans that are very reasonable and also come with monthly payment options that make it very convenient if needed. Byron was very personable and great to talk to! There was no pressure to buy into anything and gave us a very thorough check-up and explanation of our systems. I highly recommend this company and Byron!

You know when someone loves what he do the way he speak about it. We have been using Artic Fox Air Conditioning & Heating for over 15 years! Just had our annual checkup on our HVAC system. This the third year that we have used Dukes for this. Kolby was very polite and was efficient in performing the check. Very satisfied with the whole process.

Excellent response time and covid-safe service! Our heating system broke down during a cold spell. Thankfully a BumbleBee technician was able to come down within a couple of hours of us contacting them. He figured out what was wrong and had the problem resolved with new parts installed within the day!

After a routine check of our A/C units, Cave Creek Cooling Company recommended some important services.  We scheduled a return visit from them.
Chase arrived as scheduled calling us prior to his visit.  He worked quietly and efficiently.  When the work was completed, he went over what he did.  He again was very professional.

In town visiting my elderly father's house. AC was pumping heat not even room air temperature. I arrived to a 94 degree house on an 80 degree night.

Called at 9:15 AM. Got an 11:00 AM appt. Bill called first and then showed up exactly on time.

The AC unit is 25+ years old but Bill identified the unusual failure, ran to the shop to get the part and fixed it quickly.

Will definitely use them again. No brainer.

Alex and Elena did an energy audit on our home. They are so professional and friendly. They did a great job explaining our options and informing us just where our problem areas were. We decided on replacing our very old A/C unit as well as insulating and adding ducts. Their crew led by Chis were efficient, knowledgeable and very clean. I had Desert Comfort Mechanical come out and clean my indoor evaporative coil. The representatives provided great service, arrived on time, and did an honest review of the state of the coils. A prior company I got an estimate from stated it was much worse than it really was. If you want a company you can really trust I would go with Desert Comfort Mechanical.

If you live in North Phoenix or Anthem, these guys are the real deal. Recently purchased a no hassle / no haggle hot water heater with install from them. They cared more about me as a customer and getting it right rather than focusing on a sale, which they ended up getting anyways! Great job and will keep coming back.

Great experience.  One of the rooms in our house was warmer than the others.  They came out, assessed the situation very thoroughly and were able to diagnose the problem very quickly.  The technician, Kevin, was a great guy - no pressure and did a great job explaining WHY something was needed instead of just telling us to buy it.

We've had at least 5 different HVAC companies out for repairs on our system over this past year. Had we found Sure Temp earlier we could have saved all the run around & expenses! This is the first time I really felt like we got a proper repair! Tom Nash was our Service Tech, it is obvious that he's extremely knowledgeable & took the time to talk with us & explain what was going on. Our heat nice & hot like we've never known! He spoke highly of the company he works for & it certainly sounds like Sure Temp runs on Honesty & Integrity which is a rare find these days!
