I can't recommend Scottsdale Air enough! As a first time home owner shopping for a replacement AC was a daunting task - I'm happy to share that I had a phenomenal experience.

One of their field directors, Russ, came out same day to put together a quote. He took photos of the unit in the attic, and walked me through each component. I greatly appreciated the thorough walkthrough & explanation of their installation process.

Russ then presented 5 or 6 HVAC units in a good, better, best style grid - this made it easy to compare price points and features. We agreed on a very reasonable price for an 18 Seer Trane XV18 multi stage variable speed unit with furnace and smart thermostats.

The install crew showed up on Friday of the same week. They were incredibly professional and friendly, and our home was left spotless after the install was completed. The new unit is incredible! It runs significantly quieter than the old one, and the zones in our home have never felt more comfortable.

When we had issues with the zoning a few days later they sent out a crew same day to check it out. They quickly found the offending transformer that was faulty out of the box, and replaced it. I was impressed with the way this company stands by their work, as the included warranty covered the service call and parts in full.

AC went out on Friday night.  Waited until Monday morning to call Scottsdale Air.  Christina who is dynamite answers and we have Justin in our home early Monday afternoon.  Justin is a wizard!  Such a nice guy to boot.  He's in and out in less than an hour.  The house is cool again in the 100dF temps outside.
Can't say enough about this business.  We also sign up for their yearly maintenance plan.  Lots of peace of mind with that program.  Hat's off to Christina and Justin and all the other great employees at Scottsdale Air.

Awful rude employees and overpriced when another air conditioner company did it faster and cheaper. And it doesn't break down as much as when this pos company wouldn't maintain my grandmother's air conditioning

This company installed a new ac system about 3-4 years ago.  They replaced the original tonnage, and it kept running. They made it right, had a crane out and replaced it with a larger size.  We were thrilled with the service then, but last night we had a clogged condensate line and the tech on service was Travis and we reassured me all was well and to leave the trap off so the machine would run until they come out.  VERY VERY reputable company.

William was so great to work with today! He was on time, thorough, knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us understand the best way to keep our air conditioning running efficiently. We appreciated his help today.

After an August monsoon storm power blackout the AC stopped working.  We felt confident calling Scottsdale Air Heating & Cooling, and they did not disappoint! Coordinator William worked diligently to initially assess the extent of the problem, and then to get Scott out to our house as soon as was humanly possible! Between William, Christiana, and Scott the overnight shipping of a part was arranged and we were back to enjoying our lovely cool air conditioning! We initially purchased our AC and heating system from them, and are happy to report that when we needed immediate hot summer service they came as fast as they could.  Great company with great people!

Actually just gave them a call today after our HVAC system in a home we're leasing started smelling fishy when it would turn on. Google told is it's probably wires burning and is going to start a fire. Love that. But the really nice guy that answered the phone was willing to listen to the issue and give us a realistic idea of the issue being the HVAC runoff. He calmed our INTENSE worry that our house would catch flames by letting us know the smell would for sure be electrical based not mildewy or fishy. 100% appreciate him taking time to calm our worries because they obviously didn't get business from us today but I will make sure that they are the ones we go to throughout or house leasing experience. Super happy and super relieved

Had to call them out again had a Ac issue let's just say Jacob and the team are the best my issue was weird to say the least so they sent a senior technician out and they figured it out from the first call to the end the best

If you're looking for the BEST, go no further. I have a 2-trip annual check-ups for my furnaces and air conditioners.
Dave Holland is my tech. He's GREAT! On time, professional, and is, most importantly, knowledgeable. What else would I want?!

We knew when we bought our house a couple of years ago that the HVAC unit (original to the house built in 1998) was on borrowed time. So, of course, the heater kicks the bucket on the one cold weekend we have here in Phoenix...and why not the same weekend as we have family in town from the polar-vortexed midwest?

Have no fear - Scottsdale Air is here! We called on Thursday afternoon and had a technician out (ON TIME) at 8:00 am the next day. Dave was professional, pleasant and HONEST about the most cost-effective way to move forward. We agreed it would be cheaper to just replace the whole thing and he had a sales rep at our house that afternoon. Russ Byrum (sales rep) is the most patient man on the planet. My husband and I are first time homebuyers and we had no idea what we were doing. Russ laid everything out for us and didn't try to oversell us beyond our budget. This dude is a ROCK STAR and will not steer you wrong.

By Tuesday, we had the AMAZING install team at our house (Please note: they were ready to come out on Saturday, but we couldn't make it work on our end before that because of work. Russ even offered to bring out space heaters to our home so we didn't freeze over the weekend).

Picture this: our HVAC system is half-outside/half-in-an-attic-crawl-space-in-a-garage that doesn't look like a human being should be able to fit in there. I don't know anything about this stuff and even I could tell you this task looked impossible. But for Jaime and Eulogio? No problem. They worked quickly, quietly and CLEANLY - wrapping the whole project in about seven hours. It was AMAZING. I cannot describe how much respect I have for these two guys. THANK YOU.

Bottom Line: while this is the first time I've had the opportunity to use this company's services, my uncle and parents have been using them for decades; now they've earned one more lifelong customer. If you're looking for reliable professionals with a great work ethic that install a great product (this Trane XR15 looks like a piece of art and performs like NASA built it), the Scottsdale Air team is who you need to call.

I purchased my Trane unit in 2009 from Scottsdale Air and recently had a service check and was reminded how profession and straightforward doing business with Scottsdale Air can be.

When I was shopping around for my unit, I got at least a half dozen quotes and was surprised by the wide variation of price range.  The price from Scottsdale Air was the best and the installation went flawlessly.

Dave was fantastic!  Diagnosed problem and was back next morning with replacement motor. Checked to make sure our 3 zone system was working properly and explained the system.

Had John Areikat come out to inspect two air conditioning units on a property we have under contract.  John was awesome - very factual and not trying to drum up business but giving a skewed report.  I would highly recommend this company for your next AC repair!!!

What sold us initially on using Scottsdale Air for the replacement of our Heat Pump was Dan Delgado...Sales Consultant. His experience as an installer and service tech brought a sense of confidence to know that the job would be done right.

To add icing-on-the cake the installers (Ev and Mikey) assigned to our job were excellent!  I was actually present, within earshot, for 90% of the installation time and found both of them individually highly technically competent and worked well together when teamwork was needed.

I have about 12 units at my office and I got fed up with my previous A/C guy who took days to show up and then never permanently fixed the problem. I called Scottsdale Air and they were there the same day and problem resolved. Since then I always call them. In the past 6 months I had them out for 4 different units. Fast, friendly, competent and prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend this company and I will use them for my home as well.

There are many excellent reviews here, and my not so excellent review is not based on their installation nor service.  It is based on my free estimate for a new unit installation.  First, the salesman was prompt and polite, but it soon became clear that I let a car salesman into my home.   The issue is the price deception he perpetuated on me, as he must have assumed that I was a stupid woman.  The price on the Trane 16 seer was about $8300 with the APS rebate. He asked me about financing, and I inquired about the interest rate.  Zero interest for five years was his answer.   Sounds good, BUT, that added $1200 on to the price!!  I said that wasn't zero interest, just adding the interest on to the price upfront!  He insisted, repeatedly, that it was way more expensive to pay an apr over five years!  I again said that was not zero interest, so the encounter ended very quickly.  As he walked to the door, he blurted out that I could have the ''cash'' price at zero interest for eighteen months.  Methinks not, indeed.
A few days later I actually got on the computer calculator, and figured out that the additional upfront money worked out to be 5.5% interest over five years.  So even if one paid the loan off early, you would not save any money, as the interest was in the price.

I am very impressed with Scottsdale Air.

I know how debilitating it is to lose AC in the middle of SUMMER in ARIZONA --- and come my luck - I had BOTH of my AC units fail on the same day.

Scottsdale Air made an effort to come out twice in the same day, diagnose the issue, and source PARTS and get BOTH systems up and running within 24 hours (even with a hard to source compressor).

I wouldn't go anywhere else for my A/C service from now on --

We scheduled an appointment with Scottsdale Air and Cooling.
I was pleased that they were able to schedule an appointment on 6/28/2015. Only three days from when I called.

I scheduled our yearly maintenance for the air conditioners. Clean filters, coils, check pressure and check for any problems.

Dan from Scottsdale Air Conditioning came to our home and was very professional. Dressed in a professional uniform and groomed nicely. Their trucks are very clean.

Dan got to work right away and when he was finished, he explained his findings.

1. Cleaned coils-dusty but normal for living in AZ.
A. Cleaned inside and outside coils with hose.

2. Verified all units were running efficiently.
B. Checked pressures and our units were running optimally.

3. Explained north unit had some fins damaged from hail.  
He explained he could straighten them or we could. We said we would if it were necessary.
Dan explained at the age of the units-12 years old, sometimes you can do more harm by combing out the fins to straighten them. The fins can become brittle in the sun and heat.
We choose not to have this done or felt it was necessary but mostly did not want to take any chances damaging the fins while combing.

Our units have always been maintained and for 12 years old, Dan stated he could tell the units were not abused and were taken care of properly.

We are selling our home and the buyers inspectors stated that they found an oil leak in one unit, loose insulation, a ptrap improperly installed and dirty coils inside and out of each unit.

The buyer wrote an unflattering letter to the her realtor stating that Scottsdale Air and Cooling
should be given the riot act and we were dooped.

I knew that was not the case. Dan was on our roof for almost and hour and very professional.
If he had found something, Im sure Dan would have presented the findings to us. Company's want to do business with their customers if repairs our necessary. That how they make money!

For our buyers satisfaction, I called up Scottsdale Air and Cooling and explained my situation . They were amazing and stand by their serviceman and customers.

They scheduled Dan to come out again and this time, I went on the roof too. I also took pictures.

1. The units coils were clean and a little dusty but Dan sprayed the coils again. Not much difference in appearance because they were not dirty. It was a month since he sprayed the last time, so I expected to see this.

2. The insulation on one door panel had pulled away from interior door. So small that was not necessary to glue down but Dan did anyway.

3. ptrap was in the same position as when the home was originally built . Ptrap drain  passed initial city inspection and two other inspections with each new home owner.
Dan positioned the ptrap drain the way the buyers inspector felt was necessary.
Never had any issues with the ptrap drain or air conditioners.

4.. Dan stated no oil leaks in either unit as stated by other HVAC person.

When Dan was finished-he wrote a detailed report and sent it to me. It was an informal one until the official one was issued.

I was embarrassed to have Scottsdale Air come back to the home but they were amazing and understood our position. They DID NOT CHARGE us for the second service call.

I was so surprised and frankly-taken back by the outstanding customer service with Dan and the company.

I had communicated back and forth with the employees in the office and they were so cooperative with me and my realtor. They emailed any necessary documents when we needed them and did it asap!!!

Eric Johnson came out to talk me through replacing my 20 year old packaged gas unit. All I can say is WOW! Eric knows what he's talking about, is focused on finding the right machine for his customer (without a bias based on old equipment), and he very quickly built trust. There's a reason Scottsdale Air has been around so long; Eric demonstrates that to me in a matter of minutes (if not seconds).

This is my second review for this company (one on google plus and yelp) I had an issue with my heater on a Friday morning, after calling 6 other companies with 4-5 star ratings I kept getting an appointment of maybe Monday? After I called SAH &C their receptionist Jacque (spelling?) was super polite, and professional! Within two hours my tech Dave showed up, solved a simple wire issue with the thermostat, and within 20 minutes I had heat again! Great company, excellent customer service!

Called this morning to fix a leaky unit and they were at the house within 5 hours.  Courteous, on time, and they don't overcharge.  I highly recommend this company and will be using them for future services.

We live across the street from Scott, one of their Service managers, and he helped us decide to go with Scottsdale Air (after we got 3 other bids)   Eric Johnson came over to talk to us, and as a sales person myself, I was prepared for the hard sell. Imagine my surprise, when he asked where the attic access was & got up in the attic and poked around, made notes, took pictures. I had an idea of what level of HVAC I wanted to go with (as cost was a concern).  I had done my own research prior, &  wasn't really interested in the high end stuff because I thought for sure it wouldn't pay for itself before it became obsolete technology. He did heat load calcs, listened to the concerns we had about hot spots, and went over equipment choices, available rebates, energy consumption (my biggest concern), helped me do cost comparisons, and answered every question I had.  I have knowledge of the industry based on my career, so I knew what he was doing, and what he was talking about.  He was completely respectful of it. He spent a lot of time looking to solve the issues we had, without adding additional expense (which we thought would happen).  He is very knowledgeable, and is a master at his job.  He didn't oversell or try to upsell anything we weren't interested in.  After listening to our concerns,  he came up with great ideas, which were implemented and so far, they are working out perfectly!  We ended up going with a higher end unit (variable speed, 18 SEER) and didn't have to go with auxiliary cooling in a room that doesn't have supply grills.  With our old unit, we would have to turn the volume up on the TV about 10 notches, every time it kicked on. Our new unit is so quiet, I have to go look and see if it's still running. The installers were great too.  They were respectful to me, and to my home.  They cleaned up and avoided making messes if they could.  They explained our new thermostat, filter changing, the app for the Tstat (and I love apps and gadgets!) etc.   I was very impressed.  I'm 100% thrilled, and look forward to saving on my energy bills.  Call Eric Johnson/Scottsdale Air, he's your man if you want a new energy efficient unit.  (Scott's pretty cool too.)

Absolutely the best service I've ever received. When the time comes to allow a business to service any particular part of your home we all cringe about finding the right company to do the job. I can honestly say I made the right decision. The three technicians that were part of the crew were as professional as you could ask for. They arrived promptly and hot to work . I was informed of all the task taking place and they answered all of my questions with the knowledge of  an expert journeyman. My house is now more comfortable than it's ever been. You couldn't tell any work was performed other than the new AC unit that was installed. I would recommend SCOTTSDALE AIR to all of my family and friends.

Scottsdale Air is a fantastic company and one which I will recommend to everyone I know for any air conditioning needs here in AZ. I worked with Russell Byrum to replace the old and dying AC in my house and he was responsive, efficient, and effective.

The replacement of the AC system, including the initial inspection of the current system, was all done quickly and with lots of communication throughout. The people who were sent to install the new system made sure to go through and replace any of the ductwork which had become worn or damaged.

About a week into having the new system, we noticed our house had one warm spot which we had never been aware of before. Now, with more awareness of the feel around the house, due to trying to gauge the effectiveness of the new system, and with summer starting, we realized the West-facing front of the house got quite warm toward the end of the day, as the sun was setting.

I contacted Russell about this and he immediately responded with suggestions to try to test and correct the problem through the thermostat. When those suggestions didn't work, Russell promptly scheduled a visit from a technician, who came and rebalanced the system by redirecting airflow to favor certain vents.

It has been a couple months since then and we're well into the summer, so, at this point, I can confidently say this is the best my house has ever felt. Additionally, the new thermostat they provided has allowed me to save money with its smart settings.

Mike and his crew were super friendly, professional, and finished the work in the time they said they would. The quality of the equipment we got is excellent. From the huge touchscreen control to the WiFi and remote control abilities to the efficiency we are seeing... We couldn't be happier! We called them out in the midst of an electrical service upgrade and remodel and they were very accommodating with the electrical cut-over and the switch out from the old system to the new, all while not leaving us without cooling. We highly recommend Scottsdale Air.

Had a problem with a condenser line leaking. Scottsdale Air had it fixed in about an hour (and went above and beyond to change the filter for me). Kudos to Lenny. Always happy with Scottsdale Air service.

Everything was smooth and easy on the sale, install, and rebates from SRP and Lennox. And that's the short half of the process. Good choice of cheap medium, and premium units. No-pressure sales. Smooth install.

If there are subsequent issues with service or warranties (the long half) I'll update this review. So, five stars until proven otherwise. Stay tuned.

Highly recommend.  Have had this company to our home a couple times. Very impressed with the techs (Jerry especially).  Honest, helpful and fair.  Techs call before they arrive.

From the start salesman Eric J. explained each type of unit and what he felt we needed. He spent over 2 hours looking and explaining.  The crew that they sent out Anjel, Eucogio and Jaime were all dressed neatly. They were very polite and explained what they would do.  They never missed a beat!  We had two other bids one much higher for the same units and the guy was a mess. I would recommend Scottsdale Air.

I replaced my old A/C system and I will recommend Scottsdale Air to anyone looking for a great service. Dan Delgado the salesperson who explained all the options in detail and responded our concerns via email, text or a phone call, he was always available.
The installation went very smooth and the technician were very professionals.

We've used several Valley A/C companies over the years. Scottsdale Air has impressed us the most. The service technicians have been courteous and prompt,  calling with a lead time on their arrival and then actually showing up when promised. I've only had to call Scottsdale Air twice, but both times, I was able to get service within a day, even during peak heat times. Their pricing is competitive. When we've had a question about a repair, they've been approachable and happy to answer our questions. Our second visit was due to user error that someone in our home created, but the technician was super kind and courteous and didn't make us feel like dummies.

A heating and a/c company is the kind of company you hope you don't HAVE to call, but when you inevitably do, call Scottsdale Air Heating & Cooling.

HIRE THESE GUYS!!!  I have never experienced an a/c vendor more responsive, professional or courteous than these guys. I called them after hours and they connected me with Eric Johnson who was literally shopping at Costco with his wife when he called me. He dropped that and came immediately to my home. Immediately - as in leaving his wife to finish the shopping. Within hours he had a solution and an estimate. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I was very disappointed in the work performed and the communication of the service personnel. I recommend not using this company.  The individual who came to my home was rude.

As promised I received an estimate to replace the return ducting to take care of the noise problem.  I accepted it and they came out the next week.
The noise problem is now taken care of and they found another problem. The original installer (Arizona TradeMasters - see separate review) put a 5 ton air handler in the crawl space for a 3 1/2 ton unit. That's apparently OK with Trane but they're supposed to set the air handler properly - so it moves air for a 3 1/2 ton unit, not a 5 ton unit. They didn't do that which contributed to the noise problem. Scottsdale Air reset the air handler and did the same for my other unit at no charge.
The work was done efficiently and professionally - I'm very happy with my service.

We had a tricky issue with water leaking from our air conditioning due to it being installed by a subpar company that was not Scottsdale Air.  The technicians that came to due the repairs were normal, friendly and knowledgable.  Explained exactly what they were doing and why.  Pricing also seemed fair based on work completed. I plan to use again for tune ups in the future.

Came home to a HOT house on a Friday night, called S'dale AC at 9PM, spoke to the answering service. Scottsdale AC called back at 8:30AM Sat morning to say they would be here at 9AM, which they were. Hector said it was the capacitor, which was covered under my warranty, so I only had to pay for the weekend visit.  He did the job and I am now cool.

Dave, from Scottsdale Air Heating and Cooling was the technician who arrived today when he was expected.  He was thorough and efficient in finding and repairing the problem with my air conditioning unit.  I was very pleased with the whole experience and the reasonable cost.

18 years after our first experience with Scottsdale Air...they are still great but they have perfected their craft. We had to get a new a/c unit. The guys that installed our unit were beyond professional, on time, knowledgeable and cleaned up everything after. I can't say enough about the entire process. We decided that we wanted to get a new complete AC system. Our house was buit in 1961. Imagine how the system looked. There used to be a swamp cooler, getting the idea? I called another AC company before I called Scottsdle Air. They came to our house, in fact come out twice,  provided a quote, told them OK and never did they call me back. I called Scottsdale Air and they showed up the next day on time. Russ went to each room and drew sketches and diagrams and printed up a quote before he left. We looked it over and gave them the ok to start. They came out a few days beforehand to take a second look and get some exact measurements. When the big day came, they showed up when they said they would, cleared out the old metal vents, installed the new equipment, put in registers in the ceiling as we wanted them moved from the walls. they hauled away the old system, cleaned up after themselves and were very knowledgable and friendly.  We chose a Lennox brand and so far very good and very happy. Russ completed all of the paperwork for us to get rebates from the manufacturer and the utility company. We know that you can buy the best equipment and have the worst installers. We got the best of both. That's what really matters to us. Genuine Ol' customer service with a smile. If you need any type of AC work call them first. We would hire them again.

They went above and beyond to fix an A/C unit that another company left in a mess. Will be telling all my friends about this great company and the super customer service I received!

While planning a home renovation project  I had the Scottsdale Air guys come out to consult with me on the best course of action for the existing air system in the house. Their recommendations were spot on with what needed to be done, and they even mentioned a few cost conscience options as well.

The Scottsdale Air team was highly skilled, professional, courteous, and left no mess or sign that they had even been in the house after the work was complete.

I called Scottsdale Air to repair a unit and provide annual maintenance. The tech came out to do the repair, which was handled well. He called the office to see if he could stay for the annual maintenance but the office needed him for other calls. He scheduled me for several days later, between 8 and noon. I took the day off and waited all morning for their arrival. At 1PM I still had no service, so I called the office. The woman who answered the phone said I was not on the schedule. She said she would reschedule me for another day. The office did not take responsibility for their error, blamed it on the tech, and did not offer me anything to compensate for the inconvenience such as a discount. I will not do business with them again.

The Tech just left, I will post up a few other reviews because the service and the workmanship have always been great. I have purchased THREE units from them and had service done 2 times. Well, this call was because I was unsure if the unit was working right. They came right out, spent over a hour making sure all the readings were correct and I even programmed the thermostat (Which made a huge difference).

Contacted Scottsdale Air and Heating for an estimate. They said someone would get back to me but when they hadn't after four days I called again. They connected me to Steve V who set a day to come out and give me an estimate. Steve came and I discussed that I needed the duct work moved in my single level two HVAC zone house. Both zones cooled the main room and the thermostats were in the main hall on opposite ends. I stated I wanted to separate the house into two zones with one HVAC unit cooling the the master bed/bath and spare bed/bath. Steve told me that the issue was I had to small a unit for my house and that I needed to spend $17,000.00 to install an entire new system. He also told me that how I wanted the duct work laid in the attic was not possible due to the construction of the house. Steve verbally quoted me the 17 K and said he would send a formal email quote in a few days. I asked him to also quote me with my request about moving the ducts and the thermostat. Three weeks passed and I never received the quote. I call Steve on the his cell and asked if he sent the quote and he states he hadn't had time to get around to it but said I'd have it in a few days. Quote never came and by then I had a second contractor give me an estimate. The house was custom build and we had purchased it a few months prior, the previous owners had larger than needed HVAC installed to accommodate a possible future addition. The home inspector also stated at the time of purchase that the HVAC units were more than adequate. We contact another HVAC contract (see other post) who came out to give us an estimate. They apologized on behalf of Scottsdale Air and Heat and said we had more compacity than we needed and that the thermostat and some duct work needed to be added, rerouted/relocated to optimize the systems. They did the job and the units work amazing now. Scottsdale Air obviously only wants the work if they can get a high dollar bill. I would assume many others have fallen victim to this company.

There are tons of air conditioning guys out there but only a few who can be truly be classified as HVAC EXPERTS.

I believe that the success of Scottsdale Air comes down to what I see as Mike's core values. Honesty, integrity and customer-focused professionalism resonate throughout his organization.  I have trust in the work they do today and the confidence that Scottsdale Air will be there for me tomorrow and for years to come.

I generally use my guy when it comes to work around the house, but when my A/C was acting up and it had a Scottsdale Air sticker on it from the install before I owned the house, I gave them a buzz.  Each time I had the pleasure of speaking with Irma in the office who was super helpful - she tracked down warranty information the previous owner of my home had put in place, and scheduled some great service guys for the job!  Without knowing the complete history of the units I was nervous that they would need something drastic, but after the due diligence was done on their end, we figured out I was still well under warranty!  I can't recall the last time a company did so much leg work for me to save me cash; I will definitely use them again.

Scottsdale Air saved the day!  My AC went out 3 hours before a dinner party this summer.  It was up and running before my guests arrived.  Not only was their price reasonable, (they 'had me' under the circumstances and could have charged a lot more!)  they responded to my state of panic and had the job completed quickly.  When it was time to schedule  my annual cleaning, I gladly switched to Scottsdale Air.  I was pleased to find out they intentionally sent  the same technician who solved my previous AC problem.  I will not think twice about calling them again in addition to recommending Scottsdale Air to others!

We have used Scottsdale Air several times in the past.  The last time was definitely the last time.  The technician who came out was RUDE, RUDE, RUDE.  He told us the problem was not fixable and that they would have to replace the system for thousands of dollars.  We called a different company for a second opinion and they said it was quite obvious what the problem was and were able to fix it in just over an hour for a few hundred dollars.  I do have to say that when we called the office to complain they were very pleasant, but it did not make up for the nasty, condescending technician.  We will never use Scottsdale Air again.

The first time, we needed to replace our A/C system.  Mike came over and did a thorough study before he advised what kind of system would work best for our house.  We followed his advice and couldn't be happier with our new high efficiency, 2-stage, variable speed heat pump.  It's cooling the house much better, much quieter, and most importantly it brings the electric bill down significantly. Scottsdale Air's price was most reasonable compared to the 4 other companies that we talked to.

A couple years later, we needed to re-route our duct system for a remodeling project.  Mike came out to see us right away and gave us great advice.  The job was done professionally and on time and the charge was very reasonable.

About 2 weeks ago I had a problem with my rooftop air conditioning unit. I called Scottsdale Air and they send a technician out the following day. It was in the evening when I discovered the problem so there wasn't really an issue. The technicians Scott called me and let me know that he had arrived on scene and was going to go up on the roof and check out the problem. About 10 minutes later Scott told me that it was a circuit board and not the fan motor as I had thought. He said since I had an older unit he was going to make a call or to find the part go get it come back and fix it. About an hour later he called me and said everything was up and running and all good to go. Ive used Scottsdale Air before about seven years ago when they replaced both of the units on my elderly mother's house. Their price was lower than the other 3 beds I got. When they did that work I remember that everything that they did was designed to make our air conditioning system work a lot better. As a union plumber I recognize professionalism and pride and it's very prevalent in their workmanship. When my unit went on the fritz their name was the first one I thought of and I'm really glad I did. The units at my elderly mom's house have been working perfectly since the day that they were installed and since Scott fixed our unit it's been working perfectly. As a Tradesman myself I recognize professionalism and when Scott called to let me know the status of the job and how he was going to take care of it and that it was repaired was extremely impressive. When Mike had come out years ago to bid the two units that had to be replaced at my mom's house he was extremely personable and explained anything I didn't understand. I think Scottsdale Air is extremely easy to work with and very fair and their prices and I would recommend them to anyone.

I called this company in the middle of summer last year and they so took care of us. The service guy showed up before the scheduled time and was very friendly and nice. It didn't take him long to find the problem and give us a price. The A/C was blowing cold again in no time. These guys were very professional and i would recommend them to any one needing A/C Work. Since I was so happy with the first repair I called them again this year because my A/C is getting old and wanted to get a quote for a new system. They came out to my house and completely measured my home and gave me a complete analysis of what i needed and i was totally amazed at the detail of his estimate. He didn't just give me a quote, he showed me the energy efficiency benefit of using different units and even went in to detail about what my savings would be if i changed my windows and stuccoed my house. I'm so happy with this company and sure you will be too.

We met Jeff at the Home and Garden show in Phoenix and shortly thereafter engaged Scottsdale air for regular preventive maintenance on our a/c unit.  We knew it was close to having to replace the system.  They were honest, professional and courteous.  Jeff is exteremely experienced in design and solved our lack of airflow problems with some duct work changes and additions. They made good recommendations and showed us all options for different a/c units.  When they came to do the work they were prompt, professional, and the house was cleaner when they left than it was before.  They showed us how to work the new system and it was truly an easy experience.  We'll be using them for regular maintenance and recommending them wherever we can.  They were wonderful oh and were no pressure too!

Jason and Scottsdale Air are the best! Coming out of a Circle K, a guy was getting into his Scottsdale Air Van and I did what people do to me ALL the time because I where scrubs (ask free advice while I'm grocery shopping, getting gas, whatever) Yes, I was that person. I asked if was better, basically less expensive,  to get your Air Conditioning unit checked in the winter. I don't mind answer peoples questions, because I love what I do! Most people are not like that! Jason was his name, he was like that, and he was awesome! He had no problem answering my questions, was so nice, so honest, and I knew they would be my go to air guys. He gave me his card, told me they were running a special. Weeks later (yes I'm lazy!) I woke up and was planning to call to schedule my maintenance. I noticed my air was running, yet it was 81 degrees and it was set at 78...Oh no! I called, they couldn't promise, but said towards the end of the day whoever was finished first hopefully could come out. I made sure they knew it wasn't an emergency I was totally comfortable and I know they would have made sure someone was there that day if it was! Only a couple hours later, I get a call and he let me know he was on his way! Unreal! AND, it happened to be Jason!!! That made my day! He was awesome, checked out my unit, had to replace one part that only cost about $100 (thank god it wasn't dead!) did all the maintenance and It started working immediately! All said and done for less than $300! Made my day!!!  Jason is the best, he is my go to guy for now on!!! Thank you Jason for everything!!!
