We have called Mark on multiple occasions now. He has diagnosed the problems within a few minutes. He takes the time to show you the problem and explain every way of how to fix it. Prices are very very fair. Highly recommend for all A/C or heating needs.

My experience with this company was above and beyond. Their pricing is great, and the products are excellent. I am happy we chose to work with A.C. Infantry out of all the companies we spoke with. Dacoda and his team are not only professional and knowledgeable, but they get the job done right the first time. I would highly recommend this business because of their prompt communication and honest diagnosis and recommendations. Also, because this company is local, I don't have to schedule too far out in advance when something needs repairs or maintenance.

TruTek has helped out twice now to address air conditioning unit problems, quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend for their response time and their value. Joe and his Son came out today to check on our A/C system today which appeared to be slower then normal. We were very impressed with their service and knowledge. We moved into our 20 year old house 10 months ago and had the system serviced at that time by a different company . At that time we indicated that the airflow in our Master B/R was insufficient.  The guy told us to change the registers which we did with little difference. Today Joe offered several reasons for this issue and checked on the ducting. He said excess ducting appeared to be the issue. He was also able to check the system and indicate the reason the a/c appeared hesitant to kick in this afternoon. He made several suggestions to improve its efficiency, keeping doors open and opening all of the vents etc. We realize that eventually the 20 year old system would need to be replaced but he didn't try to sell us anything immediately. We appreciated his thoroughness ( including climbing into that hot attic) and honesty. His price for the service call was reasonable too.

James came by in the middle of summer- at 330 pm ( heat of the day) and got up on our roof and did an amazing job cleaning the coils - inside and out, checked my system and said said everything was working perfectly. Wow was very impressed with 480 Mechanical, they were out here at my house and put in 2 Ecobee smart Thermostats.  Artie gave me a quote and said they would be out Monday to install.  They stood by their quote no surprises Dominic was awesome was very respectful of my home /my family.

I have used Taps, the owner, for over five years for all my HVAC needs. I followed him from his previous company once he started his own business. I live in an older home with a goofy system that had vexed the other AC techs that tried to work on it -- but not Taps. He is the most get it done contractor I've ever worked with. He always does everything he can to keep costs down without ever sacrificing quality.

Taps gets to us so quickly, even during the hottest times when things are busiest, and has what he needs on his truck to gets things fixed then and there. He is extremely proactive with communication and he shows up when he says he will. He is professional but friendly and never makes you feel bad, even when you have six inches of dog fur all over your coils.

I highly recommend Comfort One and Taps. I am a loyal customer for life.

We live in a home where Chas Roberts installed the AC so we knew there would be issues but the first year was even worse than we thought. We had to call them out multiple times with the issues we were having and each time they said they fixed the problem. Too bad it was never actually fixed. I don't know if they were lying, incompetent, or both, but I got sick of it so I had Rustys come take a look. They found the actual issue within 20 minutes which Chas Roberts took multiple visits to miss. Chas Roberts told me I would have to wait 5 months for them to come and fix a mistake they created so I had Rustys fix it at a great price in less than a week. Rustys should be the go-to fix for all the shortcut problems and run-around games that these big HVAC companies try and pull with their customers. Our house feels comfortable for the first time since we moved in thanks to Rustys.

Sam seemed to be very knowledgeable and told us to not worry about a few minor things in our inspection report. He fixed 2 taps with leaks and our water heater leak quite easily. He also fixed a bigger leak by cutting through the dry wall. Since we did not know any drywall person in the locality, Sam was very helpful in getting us in touch with a person and also scheduling him to come in right after the leak was fixed.
The impression I got from him was that he puts customer satisfaction before anything else and has the most reasonable rates around. Will definitely use this company for any and all future plumbing and HVAC projects !

I had an original separate company diagnose what was wrong with my ac it took them 3 visits before they told what was wrong with it and they charged almost triple the cost Overson did. he came over within 24 hours took a look and got me squared away. Will definitely only go to them for all my hvac needs

My in-laws live in a home I own in Prescott Valley and I trusted my father-in-law to subcontract out a new air conditioning unit in 2013.  He chose Yavapai Plumbing & Heating and continued to have them provide seasonal maintenance.  He passed away over Memorial Day weekend 2018.  In early June 2018 while helping my mother-in-law and wife in sorting property out at the house I noted the air conditioning was not performing adequately.   I contacted  Yavapai Plumbing & Heating and their technician responded.  He appeared competent enough but after making recommendations on changing intake grill size to the mixing box he said the system appeared to be low on refrigerant.  He did not recommend a leak test to fix a potential leak, but added 2 pounds of refrigerant which appeared to fix the problem.  The AC stopped cooling about a week ago and now I have contacted this company to resolve the problem.  Part of the problem appears to be having technicians who aren't curious about why a system has lost refrigerant.  My experience with my home in Las Vegas is that a low refrigerant condition typically prompted the technician to evacuate the system, pressurize it with nitrogen gas and monitor for a pressure drop, which if noted prompts the technician to look at mechanical joints/fittings as the possible location of a leak.  This seems to be a prudent approach for a system that is only 5 years old.  Then when the leak is identified and tightened/fixed the system is evacuated and recharged with refrigerant to restore the AC system.  It doesn't seem reasonable to have to recharge a system every 2 months.  I will see how they respond.

I just bought my first home and knew I wanted the bathrooms remodeled as the rest of the house was really modern and cool but bathrooms were really outdated. I received quotes from 5-6 different contractors to do the work and Chris and Steve at AZ dynamic builders honestly gave me the best price and more importantly did the BEST job on my remodel.  I am obsessed!! Homeadvisor.com estimates repairs to a home a.c. as follows:  A/C compressor repair hard start kit: $100-$250. Capacitor or contactor replacement: $90-$400. Home air compressor replacement: $1350-$1800, depending on size and type. Evaporator coil replacement: $650-$1200.

They replaced my compressor for $2,000.00. They had an opportunity to exceed my expectations and chose not to. I had a problem, they solved it.

BE VERY CAREFUL!!!   The 34.95 advertised AC tune up is a scam. It's only a very high pressure ploy to sell you an over priced five-year maintenance plan and/or extremely over priced repair services.  

Tech showed up and told me I needed to replace all four capacitors in my two HVAC units.  The capacitors cost $20 each so total of $80 in parts.  I know I could install the two in each unit  in no more than 15-20 minutes, so 30-40 minutes labor.  But generously, give him an hour.  Best price he could come up with was $1,000.00.  So $80 or less for parts and $920.00 for an hour of labor.

Don't think I will be calling them back.

Update, FYI, I just got the work done by another company for $450.  Still too much IMHO, but the labor took just 30 minutes, so Emergency Air would have been charging me $1,840 per hour for the labor.

High marks for being on time and great communication up to the service call itself. High Marks for the technicians knowledge and understanding the Carrier 5 ton Air Conditioner. The AC is about 5.5 years old and the dual capacitor which is needed for the compressor and Condenser Fan Motor to start and operate properly is starting to show signs of weakening.  Again normal for the 117 degree day and time of the day the tech was there. Here is where things took a turn toward poor. The companies pricing for the Capacitor, I grazed over when I heard the capacitor was going to be $430.00 and that the Condenser Fan Motor is not turning freely as it should and that would be another $8??.00 so in replacement parts the Bill was going to be over $1200.00. Being in the HVAC business a few years ago, I decided to replace the components my self. Carrier Capacitor purchased on line brand new $20.92, Condenser Fan Motor using zoom machine oil two drops on the wicking material and it is working fine. If I did have to replace the Fan Motor it would have cost around $124.00. Hey I believe in a markup but that is not being fair to your customer and its way out of line even if you do offer a year replacement part warranty.  But again, I had to have an independent company the inspection for the house to sale, so I'm giving you all a 3. Thank you for showing up and doing the inspection for what was quoted.
