Let me start by saying that I had a slow leak under my kitchen sink and contacted a different plumber that was referred to me through an acquaintance.  That guy came four or five times and never was able to resolve the issue (he did not charge me for the repeat visits, but frustrating that he could not pinpoint and resolve the issue... that is his job!).

Then I looked on Yelp and contacted Rocket Plumbing based on the stellar reviews.  

Byron arrived and was friendly and extremely knowledgeable.  From the time he entered he was courteous, put his shoe protectors (bootys) on so as not to track in dirt, and identified the two areas causing a leak under my sink WITHIN 1 MINUTE!  He said that he's been doing this work for 30 years and you could tell.

The fix required a new kitchen faucet, which I went out and purchased as agreed and Byron arrived right on time the next day to install it. He installed the faucet and even took the time to look at and switch out my shower head (I did not alert him to this issue beforehand) which had lost significant pressure over the years.

I told Byron I found Rocket Plumbing on Yelp and before I could mention the $49 discount coupon he informed me himself of the coupon.

Leak is gone, I can take a shower with decent water pressure now and all is well.

Courteous, responsive, timely and quick. They cleared a persistent clog in the kitchen. They rodded deep through the pipe and had it perfectly flowing in a short time. Cost was fair to have my kitchen back in order. If you want to get your issue repaired fast call these guys!

Jose is very knowedable and professional. He installed a new dishwasher and hooked up a new faucet, the drain, and water after a new counter installation. The counter installers did not finish 'til 7pm on a Friday night, but Jose did not want me to be w/o plumbing in my kitchen, so I was really pleased that he was able to accomodate my needs on a holiday weekend. Additionally, he was able to open my bathroom drain after 2 others had failed.

Extremely professional.  Plumber called and asked if it was ok to come earlier than scheduled (YES!) and was extremely professional and organized.  Came in and fixed our toilet seal and tuned up our toilet while he was at it.  Extremely clean, courteous, and excellent work.  Highly recommend.

I had several Plumbing Companies look at and bid on my project; completion of a custom shower so installation of the trim and fixtures. It was however a complex custom shower including steam, a ceiling rain shower unit, body spays and more. During the bid process I encountered indifferent, snarky and demeaning plumbers who were not even familiar with the new/ current fixtures. Not Kevin and company, they are current, up to date and knew exactly what to do. Kevin took on the challenge with out blinking and was genuinely and sincerely interested in the challenging job and making us thrilled with the results. The attention to detail and the quality of work delivered was exceptional. When they saw a potential problem they figured out a way to move past it quickly. They were transparent about cost, arrived on time and were a most excellent value based on some of the bids I recieved. Don't trust your home to some out dated, snarky, indifferent plumbing company, no need to call anyone else.

Jesus came quickly and at the time we agreed. He diagnosed the probable issue by phone when we talked so I could give advanced warning to the other occupants in my building of the impending water shut off. He fixed the issue and now I have a working toilet again, hurrah! He was professional and reasonably priced.

They don't service my area but gave me advice for my issue and even told me how much to expect to pay! Thanks Kevin!

Very professional and courteous. Came when they said they would, stayed within the price that they quoted, wore masks, and worked quickly. Highly recommend them.

Adam was called to our condo to fix what the gas company was calling a leak in the line. He pressure tested the line and there was nothing in the line itself that was leaking.  The leak was traced back to the furnace. He came back over later that evening to replace the lines and re-seal everything in and around the furnace connectors. Would highly recommend; professional, courteous, and completed the job all within a day.

We moved to a row house in Lincoln Park. The row house was built in 1888 and had some significant electrical issues including and not least of which was not being up to code. Christian and Romero were on time, possessed great attitudes and were a pleasure to work with on top of being excellent electricians. They were professional, efficient, and it was evident that they take great pride in their craft - as they should! The both of them went above and beyond and we are so impressed. I would gladly work with Sims and Sons again, and I am grateful to have found a company and team that makes customer service such a priority. Truly outstanding, top notch work! VERY Happy!!  Dmitri showed  up on time wore a mask, took off his shoes at the door and went right to work.  He did a great job installing my new faucet and even disconnected my sprayer and suggested a soap dispenser I could install - I couldn't be happier!

Mike and his partner repaired the work done by two separate Angie's list plumbers (one sent to repair the errors of the first) who removed my outside faucet pipe through a wall behind a built-in television console, and then shoved it back through the bricks without any attachment, leaving leaking water inside my home.  The resulting water seepage into the cabinet was causing significant damage.  Mike responded to my urgent call, notified me he would have to cut inside the cabinet to fix the problem.  I agreed and he then made fine interior cuts that are not visible from outside the cabinet and are easily repairable inside.  In short order, he then replaced the pipe to perfection!  He also repaired the upstairs sink faucet the prior plumbers had left open pouring into the cabinet also!

Used this service to install a shut off valve and waterline for a new fridge that was coming in same day. They responded quickly and did the job in no time!

Noel came through for this first time homeowner! My water heater broke and began leaking at 10am on a Saturday and I texted Noel. He immediately responded even though he was in route to a job and continued to communicate with me all day to help. With a combination of my willpower to get a new unit myself that day, with his ability to squeeze me in on a Saturday afternoon, I had a new water heater up and running within 10 hours of it breaking.  Additionally, he showed me how to use features on the new unit and explained what is most important in an emergency scenario. He also was nice enough to remind me to register the product in case something went wrong. Noel went above and beyond what I would have expected and helped me remain sane in an emergency situation.  I will absolutely keep him on speed dial. There's a reason this conpany has 5 stars on yelp!

We woke up to water pouring through our condo ceiling and called Apex as we'd used them before for plumbing. They were very busy and said they might not be able to make it out that day, but then moved things around to fit us in because it was an emergency! The plumber came quickly, called with a 30-minute heads up when he was on his way, and diagnosed the problem right away. The upstairs neighbor's plumbing was involved, so he had to communicate with her too, and wound up replacing her toilet. He did his due diligence of making sure the water stopped dripping in our place before confirming that was the problem, which we appreciate as we've had less diligent plumbers in the past. He got everything done quickly and wore a mask and gloves really appreciated too, as we are super paranoid right now. I will say I'm a bit on the crazy side about covid so I was disappointed that he didn't have shoe covers, and the mask was a basic surgical mask, not the N95 advertised on their site, but he was very careful and considerate the whole time, and I think his precautions were all reasonable and professional - plus I can understand they might not be able to access N95 masks right now.

Jan will tell you up front that his prices are not cheap but they aren't the most expensive either.  Very professional and quality work.  He replaced the guts on two toilets (the water kept running after flushing - said previous owners used clorox tablets which caused inside to deteriorate).  $260 a toilet.   No problems since.

Could not ask for better service! I reached out via Yelp at 10pm on a Sunday when we had water in our basement and Victor responded right away helping to diagnose the problem using pictures. He offered to come at night be I chose to wait and he came first thing the next morning. Professional and took precautions (mask, shoe covers, used side entrance) he also explained the problem to me and showed me what he did to fix it which I found helpful. Would not hesitate to contact Victor again for plumbing needs!

I have not used a handyman service in quite some time. I looked at Yelp and wrote to two different services and decided to go with The Fixer.
Pedro showed up and did a fabulous job. He was quick, efficient and personable. I had a varied list and he was able to complete everything! I'm going to request him again as I need some additional work done in the near future!.

These guys were fantastic.  They scheduled quickly and where there the next morning.  Eric walked me through the issue and all steps of the project. The problem with fixed and our basement is DRY...  Hire with confidence.
