I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 just because I'm not sure if this was expensive or not - I know very little about typical plumbing costs. We had a VERY backed up garbage disposal (backing up into the dishwasher). Called on a Sunday, and someone was here by 10am Monday morning. Finished the work in an hour, super friendly, explained things so I could understand and dealt with two big dogs who were very interested in what he was doing. Even bailed the dishwasher for me when he was done. All this was $220.
The kicker though was I had run some water in the bathroom that looked very cloudy. When I asked him about it, he speculated they were doing some work on pipes somewhere in the neighborhood. Ten minutes after he left, he actually called me to say he found where they were doing the work and let me know what I needed to do to get the water to drinking condition until the construction was done.
Hopefully we don't need plumbing service in the future, but if we do, I'll definitely use them again!

Thomas and Dan were professional and responsive. We had a leak issue from our first floor to the basement and Dan had great availability. He came out and fixed our issue- was very thorough and helpful with other questions we had. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing issue. Thanks again Thomas and Dan!!

First Chicago Plumbing and Eugene in particularly were fabulous to work with.  We used First Chicago Plumbing to replace the galvanized pipes in our building with copper and it was a good experience through the whole process.  I especially appreciated that Eugene was very communicative through the whole process and took the time to explain all the equipment installed and what he had done that day or encountered in terms of complications.  Would definitely recommend!

Best plumbers around. Peace of mind. Exceeded expectations with new sink rough-in that made a floating sink setup really look incredible. Took their time to make it look clean and didn't just slap it together.

Jesus was very reliable and charged a reasonable price for the hard work he and his crew did at my house. He was faced with a very difficult challenge (poor location of the waste pit and (what we didn't know at the time was) a non-functional pump). He and his crew patiently addressed all the issues at our property. I will call him next time we have any plumbing needs!

Long story short, Village came out to look through the sewer line before they started a main sewer project next Spring, they could not see because our sewer line was full of water.  Went through Angie's list and found a highly rated plumbing company with good reviews and the cost was $99.  They came out, could not clear the clog, their camera was under water too and proceeded to provide us with an estimate to install a new cleanout outside my home at the cost of $4800 to $6800.  We had the line cleared about 2 years ago and there were no problems but we couldn't remember who we had come out so I went to Yelp.  Looked around and found that I could provide my situation and have multiple companies respond.  The most frequent questions and answers came from Kevin at Green Tech Plumbing Co. so I decided to look at their reviews on Yelp.  Not a bad one in the bunch and even the one, just one mind you, that was only one star Kevin responded as I would want any one to respond by taking ownership.  I talked to Kevin on the phone and he is as others have said, attentive, quick to respond and tells it like it is.  He said I was out of his area of service but if I wanted to pay the extra then he would send someone out.  He told me if he came out and could not clear the clog that he wouldn't charge me but wanted the opportunity to provide an estimate for the outside cleanout.  He said if he did come out it would be about $500.  Kevin sounded like he really knew his stuff so we agreed and made arrangements for him to come out today.  Dan and Nick were very professional.  They asked questions and I told them all of the above and they went to work.  They got the clog cleared as anticipated.  They put the camera in to show me and they could move the camera out all the way to the street connection to show that it was cleared.  Dan was very clear explaining everything he had done, showing me what was what on the camera view.  Showed me different areas of the sewer line so that I would know it was completely clear.  I am very pleased, very happy and would pay the extra for them to come out again if needed.  Thank you Dan, Nick and Kevin.

Needed last minute pluming needs and they showed up and did a great job. Would recommend to anyone needing plumbing help.

Very satisfied with the work they did, I called them for a pipe that busted on my kitchen sink they were able to come out the next day and get it fixed before anymore water damage was done, I gave 4 stars instead of five because one of the technician had car problems and didn't make it to the appointment time and they didn't tell me until hours later but the dispatcher or the lady that answered the call was really nice and apologetic and was able to send a replacement out right away, I will definitely call them back!

We just bought a 1924 bungalow that had a panel from 1967, wasn't grounded, and needed to be moved to the side of the house from under the porch. Darrell was no-nonsense, got us scheduled within a week of his assessment visit (when other companies were telling us it would be months before they could get us in). Anel then came out with an awesome team (Eli, Graham, and Delvin), and knocked out the big job in one day. So friendly, fast, knowledgeable, and competent! Hire these guys!

We used CJ Plumbing for some kitchen work. They came out the same day I called to check out what needed to be done, set up a time, and give a quote. Our countertops were delayed which then delayed the plumbing work on the stove and sink. They were still able to come back within 24 hours to do the work. Our stove had no gas shut off so they installed a shut off and connected the cooktop. The plumbing under the sink was all messed up, not up to code, and they did a phenomenal job correcting all the plumbing there as well. Not only efficient but done very well. Will definitely have them come back for future plumbing work we need done.

Quick same-day service to fix a toilet fill valve. Took a look around the house at a couple other potential issues and made some recommendations. Professional and would recommend!

Juan came out and did the most thorough cleaning of the pipes. Inside, outside and to the street. I've got a lot of roots and with his camera, he showed me exactly where the problem areas are and was able to show before and after.

The ability to clearly communicate and answer my questions was super. I highly recommend this company. It is never cheap, but is a great investment to ensure years of problem free plumbing.

Day before Thanksgiving emergency toilet back-up and Noel squeezed us in-between appointments.  He not only fixed the issue, but explained how we could fix it in the future.  Highly recommend him!

There is nothing more disheartening than getting water in your basement, especially when you thought precautions to prevent that had been taken. :(  Chuck and Chas both came out promptly. Ended up opening and diagnosing a broken back water valve. They rodded and then did a camera inspection from the catch basin to the house and from the house to the street. Every step along the way, they answered my questions, offered their professional advice/opinion and worked efficiently, and cleaned up afterward. I would heartily recommend them without reservation. (not sure why the photo is sideways, but it turns right side up when you click on it)

On the recommendation of my neighbor who also had Vanguard resolve their sewer issue, we hired them to diagnose a leaking basement and inspect the sewer line to ensure that was not a factor.  The two crew that showed up clearly knew their work, and helped uncover the sewer line to do the camera inspection.  While the sewer line checked out good, they also helpfully pointed out an issue with the ejector pump that could have been a worse issue had they not taken the initiative to check it out.  Even though they had other jobs that afternoon, the crew kindly offered to resolve the ejector pump installation issue (which was installed before we purchased the house) and the owner pointed out where we could go to resolve the unrelated concrete issue with the basement.  Will definitely use again should we have another plumbing issue in future.

Excellent service. I contacted Victor after a contractor told me I may need to dig up my floor surrounding a pipe in order to fix a problem. Victor was very responsive and stopped by in a timely matter to access the situation and offer a solution. Victor and his team are professional, reasonable, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

I've now used Fixer twice and it's been awesome. The first time, my girlfriend's hair straightener blew a fuse in our bathroom. This was the first time I encountered Fixer and the process was so much easier than my previous dealings with electricians. It was cheaper and the work was done within just a couple days of reaching out to them. Then just last week Brian came out to do some painting around the house. The work was completed quickly and at a reasonable price. There were some areas that I thought required paint, as I had tried numerous products to remove scuffs, and Brian showed me how a magic eraser could make the walls look like they were freshly painted. This saved me a lot of time and money. Many contractors would have probably just re-painted and billed me.  I really appreciated that Brian helped me solve my issue on my own.

He was helpful in giving me a free estimate. He recommended a small DIY fix and did not charge me anything.
