Great Experience!  So glad that I called Rocket Plumbing.  Faucet broke on Monday, called and got an appointment on Tuesday.  Plumber called to see if he could come early.  Faucet fixed by Tuesday afternoon.  Very knowledgable about my Kohler faucet and how to fix it.  Worked quickly and price was very reasonable.  In fact, I gave the business card to my building manager in case any of my neighbors have a plumbing problem.  I would definitely recommend them.

We have had gentlemen from this company out several times. Most recently for a second opinion on some major sewer work another company stated we needed and to replace a toilet. Each time we have used Windy City we have had high level honest professionals. Can't recommend this company highly enough!

Racing to make a dinner date I broke the shower lever last night and was not able to turn off the water.  We have a partial water supply shut down so there was a trickle of water all night.  I immediately searched and messaged Eugene from First Chicago and he said they would come today!  Their estimate was accurate and they worked fast and well to fix our problem.  They completed their work in about one hour and worked as a team to assess and respond to our needs.  If you have a problem call Eugene and he will help you.  Thanks for responding to our needs.  Sincerely, Joe

I just had the best experience working with Kevin from Sound Plumbing. Due to a leak and some minimal water damage, I needed both my bathroom toilet and sink replaced. Kevin was prompt in returning my call, coming in for an estimate and getting the work done in a jiffy. His work is top notch. Last but not least - Kevin's prices are beyond reasonable. I can't wait to have a friend who needs a plumber so I can send him their way!

Our outside sewer line was draining very slowly after the rain. I requested a quote on Yelp and received reply from Mike in a day. He is able to give ma a quote after I showed him several photos. The repair was scheduled in several days because it was not an emergency. Daniel and Jose called 15min in advance and showed up on time. They were able to get a bunch of roots and dirts out of the drain and used snake to go all the way to clear the drain. Our drain was clear and flow very well after the cleanup. They also explained to us how to keep the drain clean and some maintenance tips. They also offered a 30 day warranty which is really nice. I am very happy about their service and highly recommend Midwest Hydro Jetting to anyone who wants an affordable and reliable service. Five stars!

I had a tub drain blockage that I was unable to clear with a snake and it was only getting worse. I called several plumbers, but none of them were available for several days. Captain Rooter was able to squeeze me in same day. No only that, they were scheduled to show up at 4:00 (not some vague three hour window of whatever) and they arrived at my place 10 minutes early. (They actually got to my place before I did!) Adam came in and busted the clog within a few minutes. Now I can take a shower and stop smelling like a three day old burrito. Great service.

I have hired Sims & Sons for multiple jobs at this point, my first encounter with Darrell (who I now know is the owner) was him coming out to provide an estimate on my pending home purchase (at the time) of an over 100 year old home and bringing its electrical and plumbing up to date. Though Darrell new everything about everything and walked me through everything that was wrong, including options to resolve. At the time, I took that as him trying to oversell me, and only gave his crew a small part of what I wanted to get done, hiring other companies that turned out to be awful for most of the work.

The day after purchasing this home and 3 days before my family moved in, I needed major updates. While closing, Darrell called to see if we could postpone our work, I stated the urgency with my family moving in that coming weekend, he said let me figure it out and called back shortly to say he moved the other jobs, but needs to do all the work in one day, which I agreed to. That next day, 8 pickup trucks and vans showed up out front, with a dozen people exiting vehicles grabbing tools and supplies with Darrell out front directing the entire crew to perfection. The HVAC owner, showing up later for their HVAC install said I felt intimidated seeing them work.

After working with his crews more, Darrell knows a lot, and wants to share that knowledge, he will attend seminars on new plumbing or electrical technology to learn about water pressure or what is coming with solar power to inform his customers. This guy literally geeks out on this stuff, totally changing my perception of the industry. I took a few days off work right after buying the home and just talked with him about everything as I wanted to learn what I can. I went into buying this home wanting to do whatever work I could myself and here was a person willing to teach me while his crews took care of the work way beyond my capability.

I have led $100 million dollar, years long IT projects and was truly impressed with how well Darrell knew every component of the job, he is young, but has already done every aspect of the job, though an owner he will still get his hands dirty to ensure the work is done right. He was immediately able to deploy his crew to every aspect, respond to new issues as we opened walls and stay on time and on budget throughout. Other contractors constantly need to run back to Home Depot for parts, but Sims comes prepared, with a plan, instead of winging it like I have seen with other groups.

Every time Darrell gave me a quote for the new scope of work, my first reaction has always been holy shit. But every time I have went with other service providers to save money, in the short time I have owned the home, I have already needed others to come fix the problems they cut corners on to keep their costs down. Though the sticker shock is often big, every time I see the number of people coming for full days (often 10, 12 hours) performing the work, I will try to calculate the costs out with labor / supplies and wonder how they are making money.

I don't write reviews often, my initial thought of Sims & Sons, came from a perception that contractors will try to screw you over, but after working with their crews, I will never use anyone else.

Our toilet was backing up.  To add to that, every time we used water anywhere in the house, it caused that same toilet to back up.  It was a mess!  Hristo came by, removed the toilet, and brought in a machine to snake the pipe.  He then put in a new toilet.  Hristo was very professional, good sense of humor, and got the job done quickly.  It was a messy job and I never heard Hristo complain.  I would highly recommend Hristo's company for any plumbing job.  Thank you again, Hristo!

We bought a house, and within a week of moving in everything turned to sh*t (literally, in some parts of the house). I called a bunch of other places, and CJ Plumbing was the only one who could make it out quickly. They were responsive over the phone and via text.

Then, when something that should've been simple got much more complicated due to the age of our home (we had a bad main valve), they stayed until the problem was fixed. All this, and at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend this company.

I just got a condo and bought it knowing the master bath did not have a working toilet, no water in the tank even with the valve turned on. I sent out the general yelp estimate search and Mike gave me a call back right away. I told him the issue and he was able to come out same day. He got my toilet working fast and helped me with my new shower head. The price was great and will definitely be calling him when i need things done in the future.

Was responsive and came out quickly to make repairs to a damaged pipe. Very knowledgeable and professional. I will surely contact A&Y Plumbing from here on out. Highly recommend!

I called Noel a little after noon today as my disposal finally seized.  He was very polite, asked me to take pictures of it, and he would send me a quote.  10 minutes later I received the quote - he arrived about 2:15 to install it!  Very nice and proficient.

He finished in about an hour - the new unit works great and the cost was just as he quoted it.

I contacted him and 3 hours later it was installed - great work Noel!  Thanks!

We had a pretty severe frozen pipe situation and Geoff and his team worked tirelessly into the morning hours to get it unthawed. He was very informative and kept me and my tenants updated throughout the process. Charges were fair considering the time and effort these guys put in. I will definitely use them again in the future!

Awesome! Chang was the handyman who hung curtains rods in my bedroom and living room. He also hung a very heavy iron mirror, which was very difficult as the mirror's backing was not well designed for hanging. He got it done in a way that was safe and effective. I paid for the service online and it was less than I expected. Chang was professional and cheerful. I just wish I had more projects!

Eric did a fantastic job.  Made it out the next day just before the holiday weekend when I needed him. Pricing was fair and even when stores were closed early for the holiday he was able to make it happen. Highly recommend.
