I had been without a functioning kitchen since I moved into my new, gutted condo. I was tired of washing dishes in the bathroom sink, so I called Rocket one evening a couple of days ago to see if they could connect up everything that had finally arrived (new sink, dishwasher, ice-maker in fridge). I got an appointment for the very next morning at 11:00 am. Joe showed-up on time, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable He scoped out all the work and parts that would be needed, gave me a fixed price, went for parts, and finished everything by 4:30 pm.
He had to deal with a broken-off main drain pipe and a missing packing nut that caused water to leak when the master shutoff was turned on. He fixed all that, attached the drains and faucet to my new sink, ran supply and drain lines to/from the sink and dishwasher, drill holes for the lines to/from the dishwasher in the cabinet base, and connected the supply line for the ice-maker.
I was so happy to finally have my new kitchen working the same day, and was even happier when my cat was startled by the sound of newly made ice cubes dropping.
They are not the cheapest, but when it comes to water in your home, you don't want the cheapest - you want the best, and that's who they are.

I never write reviews but felt compelled to write one for Windy City Plumbing. Jose was great - very coureous and professional. We needed work done on a sink very quickly  - we sold our house and needed a faucet fixed based on the home inspection. Jose came quickly to fix the sink - he needed a very specific tool, so he went out and bought it, came back and fixed the sink. We also needed the receipt right away and he helped us out with that very quickly.

I would recommend Jose to anyone! He was great, he goes out of his way to help you, and he is a true professional!

When I did hear back they said they wouldn't be able to come by for six days. Couldn't go a week without water.

Did a fair job on some simple plumbing repairs. Way too expensive though. You can find just as good of plumbers elsewhere for cheaper, which is my plan. They did make mistakes on some very simple stuff. If I didn't catch it, they would have had to come back out again. Also, didn't have a simple part (a cartridge) for fixing a leak from sink. Not sure if it's common not to have parts like that readily available but would seem smart to do so. Thus, had to make time for plumbers to come out twice and their hours are very limited. They don't work after 4:00 PM or weekends. Doesn't fit my schedule too well. Must say workers and appointment scheduler were all very polite, pleasant, and attentive.

We had an unfortunately Christmas day pipe break for a fridge water line from post freeze thaw (fortunately we were home to see it happen!).  They answered the phone on Christmas Day  - and we didn't need them to come immediately because we had turned off the main water valve, but they came out first thing the next day, fixed the pipe and discussed longer term solutions for prevention. Second time using them - they are responsive, punctual, communicative and very nice people.

I highly recommend Green Tech!  Very knowledgeable both on the phone and in person.  They came out to inspect our sewer line for a blockage.  They showed me the blockage on camera and then proceeded to rod it out for us.  They told me our sewer was in good shape with good flow.  Previous company told us the pipe was cracking and we needed to replace to the tune of 10,000.  So nice to be treated fairly, educated by the company and treated with respect.  Our plumber was named Tim and I dealt with Kevin on the phone.  Both extremely courteous!  Thank you Green Tech!

I have an old building.  I noticed the basement dirt ground seemed moist but did not pay much attention.  Then few months back, things got a lot worse.  First, the ground was sinking fast, then the sewer water started gushing out whenever I use water.

I contacted two 5-star popular plumbing services on Yelp.  They looked at the situation and told me that they need to dig down at 3 spots and replaced sewer lines there, but it will take at least 2 days to finish the job, and they cannot start until next week.  They also tried to rot and jet, neither cleared the line.  Frustrated, I searched again on Yelp and found Capitan rooter, and it turned out to be the best choice I made.

Joel was able to provide a quote over the phone based on problem described.  A detailed proposal was sent shortly.  The very next day, Oscar and the crew stopped by and started on the job.  The crew were the most efficient plumbers I met. Oscar immediately identified the main spot of problem, which was different than the spot identified by the other two companies.  I am so glad he made the right call because the other spot did not have the sewer line under the ground at all, which meant if I were to hire those companies, they would have been digging all over my basement.  

Once the crew rotted line clear, camera to locate the issues, each started digging and replacing the broken pieces. They were very careful handling my sewer line as those were made of clay; they replaced the broken pieces with SCH40 and made significant improvements.  They installed a new opening for rotting.  Oscar also replaced an incorrectly installed kitchen drain line.  By the time he reached the broken line, the replacement line was far more than the initial quote covered, but he completed the job anyway because he wanted to be sure that I could have a functioning line on the same day.  After the job was completed, they installed new cement and even cleaned up all the broken pipes, cements, and dust.  I cannot thank the crew enough for their outstanding work, professionalism, care for the customer and their property.  It was a very pleasant experience.

They also gave 5 year warranty on their work, but I am sure it will last much longer than that.  In addition, they also offered 2 free follow-up maintenance rotting.  The company also offer 18-month financing for those who need it.  Did I mention their pricing was better than the 2 other companies I noted?

Overall, I would highly recommend Capitan rooter to anyone with sewerage problems.  They offer the best combination of quality, value, efficiency, and reliability.

Great experience working with Sims and Sons Electric and Plumbing.
Started off working with Darrell for a consultation on what I was looking for. I was clear he understood electric/lighting work and was able to give many suggestions as well as pictures of previous jobs for reference.

Day of install Darrell brought Enis and Ando (sorry if I spelled that incorrectly!). They followed COVID protocols and all wore masks the entire time. They worked diligently. They even fixed a previous electrician's mistake to ensure I got the best quality of work and did not just put a bandaid on a previous mistake -  I greatly appreciate that kind of work ethic.

100% satisfied with the work they did and I will definitely be using them again for any future electrical work.

About as honest and straightforward as it gets.  Great guy and even better plumber!  He explained everything that was going to be done, was flexible around our schedule and most importantly fixed the issue we were having.  I'm glad to find a go to plumber we can depend on with fair and transparent pricing.

I have had Juan come out twice to look at 2 issues. He used his camera scope to diagnose a drain issue and also installed a new sump pump for me.

All around one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor. He was helpful in sharing his knowledge. He didn't take on work where he felt it was outside his expertise. When he did the sump pump install, it was very detailed and the price was very fair.

I never write a review, but I found Noel on Yelp! and wanted to make sure that others know what a great find Noel is.   I had a toilet issue and only have 1 bathroom so it was rather urgent that it needed to be fixed.  He asked me to text him a picture of the issue so he knew exactly what the problem was and what needed to be done, what he needed to bring, was able to work me in within a few hours, gave an estimate up front - no surprises, text me when he was on the way, clearly knew what he was doing and on top of all of that is just a SUPER nice guy.  Highly recommend!!

APEX Plumbing has been our go to plumbing on a variety of projects from rodding work, installing a new gas line for a stove or the latest project was to replace our 75-gallon commercial water tank. They are always responsive, fair pricing and do great work. These are the local guys you want to support.

This is the fourth or fifth time we have used Vanguard between two of our condos. As always with Vanguard, everything was perfect. This time we had them install a new sink, a new faucet, and add a water line for an ice maker. The communication is superb. The timelines is always precise. The service we get from George is unparalleled. There are never surprises or problems. It always goes perfectly and the price is always as quoted. This is how all companies should be. I cannot imagine a company being any better than Vanguard and a plumber being any better than George.

Victor was outstanding. He was quick to respond, incredibly courteous and professional and provided exemplary service. He quickly diagnosed the issue with the clogged kitchen drain line, was frank with the condition of our pipes and recommendations should we encounter future issues. I appreciate the honesty and the fact that there was no attempt to upsell. His communication is the best I've ever seen from a contractor. I hired Fixer to hang a chandelier and fix some door hinges. They sent Katie & Ian who were so great! They were able to come out the same day and finished both projects in about an hour. They were very friendly and clearly knew what they were doing. I really like Fixer's business approach and they are a breath of fresh air from the typical contractors that are always unreliable. I highly recommend Fixer and will definitely use them in the future!

I had an emergency plumbing issue. Our main line was clogged. All 3 toilets in our home were backed up and sewer water backed up into our laundry room!
The guys at Drain Works responded first and was available within 2 hours.
They came prepared; masked up and even has booties so they don't  stain our floors.
They took a camera down the main line and showed us exactly what the issue was.
After quoting us a very reasonable price, they were available immediately the next day on the big job.
They dug up 3 containers of tree roots and dirt in our main line!
The job took 3 days to complete. Each day they meticulously laid out plastic coverings everywhere and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day.
They really saved the day for us especially during these times.
Would definitely recommend them to anyone and will use them again for future plumbing services.
