Called up Rocket on a Monday trying to get a ballpark quote on a new ejector pump since the one in my newly purchased house decided to stop working (don't get me started on how I found out that it was broken).  Anyhow, got a call back within 20 minutes with a round number and I continued to shop around. Called another well known Yelp plumber who decided not to follow through and book an appoint; called Rocket back on Wednesday and made an appointment for Friday at 4 pm.

Someone in my house left work early for the 4 pm appointment and was home most of the day. At 2:30 the plumber calls and says he had a cancellation and can come early. The woman I live with who is related to me by marriage calls back within 10 minutes but is told the office sent him to another job instead of coming to perform our service early. No problem right? At 4:30 nobody has arrived and we call the office. They apologize profusely saying they dropped the ball on this one and will make it up to us with a slight discount. Annoying but mistakes happen and we really appreciated the honesty. Setup the new appointment for 7 am the next morning.

I'll amend this review later to give props to the actual plumber who can to do the work, but in short he was great. Professional, honest ... took the time to explain what had broke and how he was going to fix it. Gave us new home owners some lessons about a vital piece of equipment in our place. He was in and out within 75 minutes and was really down to earth. I know he's new with Rocket and I would advise ownership to hang onto him because he's an asset to the company.

I hope to not having any plumbing emergencies in my future, but if I do or I want to perform some upgrades, Rocket will be at the top of my list to call for a quote.

Dan Molina showed up on time.  We took some time to figure out where the leak was coming from. When he cut out a piece of pipe that a previous plumber put some putty on, the water was still leaking. We found that directly above that pipe was the actual leak. He fixed that one and another one near it. He did great work, and has a good attitude. A consummate professional. I would recommend him to anyone, and wouldn't hesitate to use this company again in the future.

We had a lot of plumber-related work to be done on our place.  

We bought a bank-owned home, so we weren't really sure what we were going to get.  As he was opening up some walls, our carpenter noticed some strange plumbing things going on.  We knew that would probably happen, so I hired Kevin based on about five interviews with other plumbers.

Kevin did the following work: ran gas lines to install a gas stove/range and also for a fireplace; ran gas line outside for a grill; re-pitched our sink drain running from the kitched (which was a problem he had another house in the neighborhood); installed new showerhead, new temperature guage, and three independant shut-off valves in master shower; ran 3/4 pipe to master shower; resolved cold/hot water issues and other water pressure problems throughout; he expanded the drain mouth in same master shower; fixed gas-capture elbow joint in same master shower drain.

I'm sure he did more things than those listed, but this was the bulk of it (or what I can remember).  In fact, he came back to fix something extra I didn't even know was wrong, and he did it free of charge.  Overall, I think Kevin's work ethic is what separated him from others.  He never ceased until he was satsified that the job was done perfectly.  He genuinely seemed to care that he fix the problems in our place and cared that he did them properly and to a high level quality satisfaction.  His charges seemed fair, but then again, I don't really have a lot to compare them with.  But,

I would definitely hire Kevin in the future.  In fact, I have to call him soon to fix yet another plumbing issue.

Our refrigerator stopped working a few days before Christmas, including our waterline and valve to the new fridge. I requested a quote and they came out the same day. Fast, reliable, and friendly!

Update: I received a call to make this right and they did. So I've updated my review because they did the work for the agreed upon amount, were professional, polite and fixed the issue.

So many 5 star reviews, when I had a plumbing issue the handyman couldn't resolve I had to call. So I did and was quoted $400 (at most) parts and labor for a shower drain leak and slow constant drop from the shower head.

Fast forward to the scheduled repair day and the plumber that came was very close to the scheduled time, so that was a plus. Then I showed him hat was needed and he said the other gentlemen that came out for the estimate had already told him the same that I did.

Two hours later repairs are complete and now I'm hit with a bill over $600. When I told him the estimate was $400 at most he just said he didn't know and it would be over $600. I am disappointed he wouldn't have told me the bill would be higher the moment he knew and not hit me at the end with a big increase. Parts were $138, the total was $636. That means labor was almost $250 an hour, that is extremely high, even for plumbers.

Anyway, the repair seems to be done correctly and hopefully if there are any issues they stand by their work.

Mike and team are extremely responsive, professional and accommodating. They do an excellent job in troubleshooting and explaining to you the actual problem and your potential solutions and options.

We had an emergency plumbing issue with our gas pipe. Manny and Brandon came out and worked through the night. The were determined to stay until the job was complete. They did an awesome job and the price was amazing!

Daryl showed up on time, assessed the problem promptly, and had our porch light working in about 20 minutes.

We had a series of plumbing tasks that needed to be done and we were disappointed in the experience that we had with another plumber in the area. Reviewing yelp and other resources, we felt that CJ plumbing and heating was the next firm we wanted to try out. Lenny was our assigned plumber and he did a fantastic job. He reinstalled three toilets in our home and replaced the associated shut off valves, giving us confidence that we would be ready for the holidays.  He arrived within 4 minutes of the appointment, used booties to protect our floors, wore a mask to protect our mutual health, cleaned under the toilets before reinstalling them and left everything spotless. Every detail was taken care of. The owner checked in with me to verify I was satisfied and I couldn't find a thing to nitpick. They're not cheap but they are clearly one of the best craftsmen in the area. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Mike and his partner repaired the work done by two separate Angie's list plumbers (one sent to repair the errors of the first) who removed my outside faucet pipe through a wall behind a built-in television console, and then shoved it back through the bricks without any attachment, leaving leaking water inside my home.  The resulting water seepage into the cabinet was causing significant damage.  Mike responded to my urgent call, notified me he would have to cut inside the cabinet to fix the problem.  I agreed and he then made fine interior cuts that are not visible from outside the cabinet and are easily repairable inside.  In short order, he then replaced the pipe to perfection!  He also repaired the upstairs sink faucet the prior plumbers had left open pouring into the cabinet also!

I had Juan and his team to replace a kitchen sink for us. The team was the best. Juan and the team did an excellent job, and they were really fast and made everything look really nice. And they cleaned up everything after they finished. I would definitely recommend him if you need to hire someone for sink installation, the price was reasonable among all others that I requested. I would recommend him to my friends and families as well!

Noel is wonderful! Came out on short notice and helped with a garbage disposal emergency. So happy to now have a go-to plumber for all our plumbing needs.

We had a pipe burst and water leaking everywhere.  We called Apex and the emergency team was here within 40 minutes.  Super helpful, kind, informative and fixed the problem.  I highly recommended them.

Vanguard replaced two water heaters and revamped the set up. in my condo building. We received quotes from other plumbers and it was clear that Vanguard was far more experienced and skilled than others we spoke with. It was a big project - in terms of both time and money - that Vanguard implemented successfully and professionally.

Victor was the only plumber I contacted who could see me the same day. He assessed and fixed the problem quickly at a very reasonable price. He clearly knew exactly what he was doing and I feel confident the fix will hold. He was professional, polite, and friendly. I won't hesitate to call him for my next plumbing problem.

Eric at Drain Works was at my location in 3 hours same day to take a look at a sub pump issue that turned out to be a back flow problem.  He diagnosed, explained my options, got the new part and fixed it.  Extremely personable and they know what they are doing.  Very happy with Eric and Drain Works and will be on my speed dial as its hard to find good honest plumbers....especially in the city!
