Rocket Plumbing's technician Marlon literally saved my life and possibly lives of the people on the 2100 block of W Cortland.

*Well aware that this sounds like a stupid over-the-top yelp review, but read the GAS LEAK story below.

I call People's Gas to come out and check for a gas leak, the guy finds a leak with the stove connection but doesn't check the meter or pipes below the building. I call Rocket Plumbing the next morning and they send Marlon out the next afternoon. Promptly fixes the stove hose and fittings, explaining everything as he does - from pipe size and fitting to the sticky dope used to seal them. But he doesn't just leave. He stays around and uses his gas meter to check for additional leaks. He was willing to open the crawl space (people's gas wasn't) and we found that it was filled with gas.

After Marlon found the additional leak, I called People's Gas to come and check it out. 15 mins after the People's Gas tech got here, the gas for the entire building is shut off and they start drilling into the street to shut off the big valve and repipe everything into the building. All the piping was corroded - creating a major leak. These are the kind of circumstances where buildings and entire blocks actually blow up. Marlon's sticking around and doing more than the job he came for prevented that.

We had a nasty problem with our plumbing. Apparently, when the house was built 77 years ago, there was a problem with the pipes underneath our basement floor, which came to a head and caused drainage problems in our basement bathroom. Two different handymen were unable to unclog the pipe, so we called in this company. They were incredibly patient and professional, moving from a simple fix to more complicated, and finally doing the necessary work of digging into the basement floor. Throughout this whole effort, they were extremely courteous, concerned about bringing dirt into the house, and communicated with us regularly about the progress of this project. I highly recommend them. And, they like brownies.

Jose came out yesterday to fix what another plumber couldn't fix but charged me for anyway.  He knew exactly what needed to be done.  He was quick, clean, and professional.  We're so happy to have a working shower and toilet.  Thank you so much!

This was the first time i've used these guys- I found them by Yelp review so I had no way of knowing their work from a personal referral. I was having a hard time getting a plumber to change a bad stem in the bathtub- it's a small job, I know, but I couldn't do it myself. Eugene and his partner came and I realized it was a good thing I called them- I knew my bathtub plumbing was old and hard to find parts for but they managed in a Mc Gyver way to replace the stem, and it works. Plus these guys were very friendly- they met me at the door with a handshake and a smile. They were polite, and very, very informative.  They also made suggestions on updating the tub hardware which I am going to do, and I plan to let them do the work.

Oh jeez, just reminded that my last review for Sound Plumbing was 7 years ago. Yes, I'm a negligent homeowner. Kevin came out and rodded/cleaned out our main stack, out to the street, pulling out beginnings of tree's. Already put in a calendar reminder. Again, awesome communication from scheduling options to what is going on and what needs to be done. Thanks Kevin/Sound Plumbing!

They came when they said they would to check our flooded basement.  They helped us out, checked the line, and did not seem to charge us more than needed.  I will use them again.

They came out quickly and did exactly what they needed to do.  Time was an issue with water in my basement and Green Tech was at my house in less than 30 min.  

There was one minor oversight with the job they performed (putty around a pit cover).  I called them back a month later asking about and they showed up the next morning completely free of charge.  

Yelp doesn't lie, and it's why I chose them in the first place.  Use this service.

I had a toilet that would not stop running. I thought I was able to self-diagnose, but I was completely off. Nevertheless, I contacted Mike from Midwest Hydro-Jetting and Sewer Service over the holiday season and he was able to send Danny over very quickly. Danny did an outstanding job of not only correcting the true issue at hand but course correcting what I had thought was the issue with my toilet. Danny was knowledgeable, helpful and very efficient in his work. Mike and Danny charged what they had quoted and I found their prices to be extremely competitive. I would absolutely go back to Danny (and Mike) for future work.

These guys were AMAZING. Called at 11am on a Saturday and they had a guy out here by 230pm. He quickly figured put the issue and was super knowledgeable about my tankless unit. These guys are the total package. They respond quickly and have rates that arent trying to bleed pockets. Huge shout out to Ronnie who came out and assessed the situation in minutes and also gave some insight on how horrible my contractor was which was very well needed. He even explained how some of my systems worked for me since my contractor never said a word to me. My contractor never installed a drain kit on my tankless water heaters. Rooters, Ronnie, will be back to install these for me at a great price. I will never call another plumber again. I will recommend these guys to anyone I know.

Darrelll was very quick to respond. Darrell diagnosed the issue over the phone without a fee. Very grateful for his high level of professionalism and will be using him in the future.

Chris came exactly on time to fix a clogged drain in our bathroom sink. He did the job quickly and charged a very fair price for his work. I would highly recommend ABV and definitely will use them again.

We've had several plumbing issues with the purchase of our new home. I trust these guys to be honest with me and fix what needs to be done without overselling anything. Very responsive, reasonably priced and great service. Highly recommend.

Believe the 5 star reviews, Mike is awesome! It's so nice to have a plumber in my contacts who I not only know will do great work, but is also fair and 100% trustworthy. Mike is also super responsive, dependable, and takes great pride in his work. And to top it all off, we actually had a really fun day together when he came by! Great guy + great work = no brainer on reaching out to him for your plumbing needs.

Juan is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. He fixed the noisy running toilet and replace kitchen faucet for me. He can response quickly with quote based on pictures and videos, and take care of everything. Highly recommended!

Noel is a nice guy, but not above overcharging:

For two hours of work, a sink faucet, a bathtub faucet, and a few of those wire mesh drain covers, he charged me $495. I looked up the prices for those parts online. He definitely made over $100 an hour for the labor, which is a pretty penny.

He still did a good job, but I might look elsewhere next time.

I had been calling a number of plumbers for an emergency repair, and Apex was the only one that even picked up the phone - even at places that advertised 24-hour service. I had a leak from a first-floor unit into the basement. Aidan came out in about 30 minutes and was able to find the problem in a galvanized, 90-year-old riser and replace it in about four hours. Because I had been calling plumbers since the night before, I was truly impressed with the service. Low key, nice, professional, everything you want in a plumber.

I bought a 100 year old house with rusted, leaking kitchen piping, and these guys were able to fix the supply lines and entire kitchen stack within a couple of days and made sure I'll have a functioning kitchen by the time I move in. They were very communicative and helpful through the whole process.

I booked several services 3 weeks in advance. I gave detail about what needed to be done  and all of it was simple stuff(changing batteries etc). I told them I had high ceilings (estimated at 15 feet actually 13). At 7pm on the  the night before 9am scheduled  visit I got a txt saying we have reviewed and (despite nothing changing since I booked) they would be sending a second fixer at an additional $139//hr.  When I texted back they said that since it was 15 ft  they had now decided a second person needed to hold the ladder at a cost of $139/hr. I wasn't  asked if it was ok. I wasn't asked if the ceiling were really 15 ft( I measured. They aren't)   Needless to say I cancelled this service.

I originally found this business through yelp and had been calling on them for all my plumbing needs. Very reasonably priced, prompt and professional. I very much recommend them for any plumbing issues.
