We were struggling with really low hot water pressure in our 2nd floor shower.  Anthony was amazing!  He assessed the situation and talked us through multiple options so that we could find a solution that best fit our priorities and budget. Anthony worked efficiently and completed the job quicker than expected.  That is despite the age of our plumbing and Oak Park home which, we imagine, caused some challenges. Pricing is honest and upfront. Very satisfied!  We are coming back to Rocket and looking forward to a shower!

Thomas and Dan were professional and responsive. We had a leak issue from our first floor to the basement and Dan had great availability. He came out and fixed our issue- was very thorough and helpful with other questions we had. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing issue. Thanks again Thomas and Dan!!

So i was in need of a nasty main line clog. I spoke to Jose personally and spoke about pricing and how fast would they be able to pass by and do the job. Next day Chris passes by to do the job n finished in 30 min. These guys r good n for the work they did the price was the cheapest in town compared to other plumbing companies.

I had Eugene come out an install an ice line for my fridge. I had incorrectly informed the team when they were quoting the job that the valve needed to connect the line was there. When Eugene came out he saw that he needed to go out a buy the piece I needed to get the job done correctly. He worked with integrity and I wasn't charged extra for his time buying the necessary part due my error. I felt their prices were reasonable, plumbing is never cheap, but I felt the price was fair. I would definitely recommend Eugene and First Chicago Plumbing.

I hired Sound for two jobs--one doing some small repairs on sinks and toilets, and another installing a new faucet on my kitchen sink. The booking process was quick and easy, and the plumbers who came out were efficient, friendly, and knowledgable. I will definitely work with them again!

I've used J Sewer before, and that good experience led to my using them again. Unlike some other contractors, Jesus will let you know if he is running behind on a prior job.  He may show up late for an appointment as a result, but he will show up. I have had other contractors no call/no show. He does good work at a reasonable price, and is always pleasant to do business with.

These guys totally saved the day again. I bought a cheap IKEA vanity and sink but Kevin made it all work. He also helped be get a great deal in an awesome new faucet. He had to move some pipes around but made everything work thus saving me a lot of money ! Very professional and would use again.

I've not had much luck with plumbers, until now. The sewer line was clogged   and soggy toilet paper started to back up into the basement. I searched on line for a plumber, and saw the great reviews for Midwest Hydro Jetting on Yelp. I called, spoke with Mike, and explained the problem. I  was hoping for a quick fix since I had family staying with me.  Of course he was familiar with this type of back up, and said it might be a day or so until someone could come out, but if the day's jobs were finished early, he would send someone. He also gave me a price range for the work that would probably be needed to be done, which was very reasonable.  Luckily the day's jobs ended early, and Dan arrived in the late afternoon. He knew exactly what to do, and power rodded the line until it ran clear. The cost was very reasonable and I was given a 30 day warranty.  Unfortunately, the line backed up again after a few weeks. Dan came back out, with Jose, and power rodded again, with a different head on the line. What came out of that line on the end of the rod head  was disgusting. He called it a 'mush ball', or something like that. It was a mass of toilet paper, wipes, and a small piece of plastic or cellophane, and had been about 75ft down the line. I previously instructed everyone to not dispose of wipes, flushable or otherwise, in the toilets. Of course it was group denial as to anyone doing so.  Anyway, the warranty was honored,    the line has stayed clear, and I have removed every package of wipes from the house that I could find. Besides being knowledgeable, professional, and very efficient, Dan is very personable too. Most people don't call a plumber until it's a dire necessity. They have the advantage, and some use that advantage to make more of the situation, and up the cost of repair.  This time it was a pleasure to finally find a company that did not do that. This old house will probably need a plumber again at sometime, and I would not hesitate to call them again if anything else 'comes up'.   I would highly recommend Midwest Hydro Jetting to anyone in need of great plumber services.

So, we live in an old bungalow. We purchased a new range for our kitchen - it was delivered, and beautiful, and basically sat in the middle of the room - ok, I may be exaggerating a bit - but it did stick out a good 4 from the wall. The gas pipe coming up through the floor was to blame. Ugh. We called our usual plumber, they took a week to come out to tell us it would be super expensive, they would have to come back a week later to do it, it would take all day, and they would have to go through the exterior bricks of the house.

I felt like this seemed off. After a quick yelp search, I found Captain Rooter, a phone call, a knock on our door the next morning, an estimate of LESS THAN HALF and the job DONE in less than two hours - gas pipe moved over, no disruption to exterior bricks, and oven range in place snug against the wall. So happy.

We needed two outdoor sconces replaced and Darrell was able to help us the same day!  He was very communicative and did a great job.  Great customer service and also wore a mask.

I like i got a Quote on Yelp instead of being told they cant give a price without someone coming to the house and then you are potentially wasting days and then you get a too high quote but feel pressured to go with them, so when i got a quote from ABV and thought it fair i made a appointment and they came the next day.

CJ had to deal with several problems in my newly purchased house:  fixed my powder room water pressure problem and installed new faucet, fixed my shower fixture which was not installed by the contractor properly, installed a new sump pump with backup system, installed clothes washer, and put in new hot water heater.  Everything was top notch and they were very focused on getting things done properly.  They are honest, highly competent and responsible and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others!  I finally have plumbing that works in this house!

Highly recommend Mike! He was great at communication, texted updates & arrived when he said he was going to. Wore a mask the entire time. We had a laundry list of issues - leaking faucet, replacement of shut off valves, wax ring replacement on one of our toilets, etc. He had a cancellation & was able to come back & take care of all our issues the same day. He also fixed minor things we didn't think to ask about (& he didn't charge extra for these fixes) - fixed water pressure, secured a wiggly knob on our sink, etc. He did the work quickly & left our place tidy & clean. So happy we found Mike!

Juan is great guy and above all else a true professional! I recommend him for all your plumbing needs. He is got my business! My toilet was leaking from the base I called him on the 4th of July he was here next day and tackled it like a pro!

Noel is great! Had a pipe burst during the brutal cold snap of January 2014. He came out the next morning and fixed it for a really reasonable price, will definitely call again!

We had a pretty severe frozen pipe situation and Geoff and his team worked tirelessly into the morning hours to get it unthawed. He was very informative and kept me and my tenants updated throughout the process. Charges were fair considering the time and effort these guys put in. I will definitely use them again in the future!

We had a sewer smell coming from the washer closet but couldn't tell where from because we cant get behind the washer. The two plumbers knew right away it would be the floor drain and moved the stacked washer/dryer to access. This was a pain because of the tight setup of the washer/dryer being inside a closet. After they fixed the smell (refilled the p-trap with water) they adjusted the legs on the washer so that if this happens again, I can access the drain myself without pulling the units out.

I arrived home to my gas water heater making noise. Victor responded well and replaced it the same day. If you're looking for someone honest, reliable and responsive, Victor is your guy for the job.

The fixer nikki did a superb job. She was on time, resourceful, polite, very professional and walk you through it before she perfomed the task. Thank you. I will recommend this company.
