This is definitely my new plumber.  They were very friendly and came over fast to replace a leaky faucet.  The plumber, Tony, was great and I highly recommend him and Rocket Plumbing.

Thomas is incredible! When I first called him, he offered me advice on how to unclog the pipe before even sending someone out to me. He said, let me save you money, if you do this and it doesn't work, feel free to call me back. Well I needed his services so after a week, I called him back and he sent his team in THAT DAY. Within 30min my drain problems were gone and it was all because of Thomas and his excellent team.

If I ever have another drain related problem, this company is my go-to! Highly recommend

They were great! With the cold snap, it seemed like everyone was dealing with frozen and bursting water pipes at the same time. It was our first time looking for a plumber, but the good reviews and close proximity  prompted us to call Windy City Plumbing. I'm so glad we did! Even though they were so busy, they came out the same day, within hours of our call. They were pleasant, knowledgeable, reasonable, and they seemed to care about our issue. Have used these guys for a few projects with a couple of my properties. They are quick to follow up and communicate everything clearly via email and invoices, I misinterpreted something that one of workers and I discussed, but it was in fact written clear as day in the invoice, so it was my fault. they are very fair, and wont do unnecessary work if it is not needed. They will also make recommendations, but will not pressure you into getting those things performed. They are on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for! Have not had any issues with any of the work they completed, and they were super helpful and flexible with scheduling!

Mid-kitchen remodel, I realized I needed the gas line to my stove moved about a foot to accommodate new cabinets. I contacted four different plumbers who quoted me a minimum of $400 to do what I knew would be less than an hour's worth of work. When I contacted Sound Plumbing, Debbie told me they charge by the hour, and the job I was asking for would be two hours max. All in all, it took an hour and a half, and they prorated the half hour on my invoice. The work was top notch. Now I know who I'll go to if I need any other plumbing done.

Super fast response. Had an old drain rod stuck in my sewer pipe. Called three other sewer guys and all said they wouldn't touch it. Jesus agreed and then got it out. He also fixed a broken drain line under a sidewalk, and poured the concrete back and finished it. Super reliable, prompt, fair pricing, good communication, competent. What else do you need? He is now my go-to guy!

Our water heater failed this morning, and after reading some reviews of local plumbing companies on Yelp, I came across Green Tech Plumbing.  The thing that made me call them over the other companies, was a reply to a 1-star review from the owner and how he handled it.

Plumber Tim was dispatched and arrived within the hour, as promised.  Tim looked through the manual for the trouble codes, determined which part was needed, called the supply house, went to pick up the part, returned and replaced the part, and just like that, hot water!

Thank you for answering my call and getting someone over here so quickly!  Worth every penny!

What you NEED to know is in the last paragraph. TL;DR: This is the best home services experience I've ever had in my life.

We had a clogged toilet at 3 a.m. after hosting a  New Year's Eve party at our new home. Not the ideal way to kick off 2020. Using a plunger, we were able to get the water to flush very slowly and figured we got rid of the clog.

2 days later, the toilet still wasn't working. I requested a quote on Yelp, and Mike responded within minutes. Not only was the price competitive, but Mike offered to give me free advice on how to fix the problem myself in the event that it could save me time and money.

After trying all the conventional methods (plunger, auger) to no avail, I called Mike again to schedule service. He sent Danny who was at the house within 15 minutes. Danny was incredibly polite and thorough moving from auger to removing the toilet. Having tried all standard methods, Danny let us know that he would have to bring in the power rodder and that Mike was on his way to help out. Danny laid tarp along house to wheel in the huge machine, and Mike tried to think of other ways to solve this not-so-typical issue.

They ended up going to our crawlspace and rodding the pipes through there. I'll spare the details, but after a couple hours, the problem was fixed. Danny and Mike cleaned up the bathroom and closet with crawlspace access. And the toilet flushes like new.

I can't speak highly enough of this experience. We couldn't have asked for better service and, quite frankly, didn't know home services of this caliber existed. I would never hesitate to recommend giving these gentlemen a call, even for free advice. They'll be my go-to for any future plumbing issues (knock on wood), as well as if anyone ever asks if we know a good plumber. Mike giving us a discount for finding them through Yelp was a much-appreciated bonus.

The person that came was incompetent, rude, and unwilling to accept that he was doing the job wrong. Paid him in full but I probably should not have. I can deal with rudeness, incompetence is not acceptable

Had an old rusty bathroom exhaust fan that needed to be replaced so I tried to fix it myself. Once I realized how big of a job it was I got a few quotes. They were outrageous in the thousands of dollars! But when I called sims and sons their quote was more than HALF of the other guys. Darrell And Enis came over right away, supplied the fan (at NO up charge! Everyone else does), and installed it beautifully. Highly recommend these guys!!!

Great, fast service from Mike the Plumber. He came on short notice to remove then reinstall my kitchen sink plumbing after I had some new counter tops installed. He even fixed my bathroom toilet (slow to fill up) and unclogged my bathroom sink.  The price was very reasonable and he performed everything very quickly. If I ever have any plumbing issues I will be sure to call Mike.

A&Y was the first to respond to my request for a quote (to replace one toilet and repair another) and gave me what I felt was a good price. Juan and his assistant showed up in less than one hour and performed all necessary work very efficiently and with no surprises. They cleaned up after they were done and I couldn't have asked for more. They are now my go-to plumbing company. Highly recommended.

Noel came to my home quickly to examine a drainage problem. Unfortunately he did not have his rodder with him (it was not his fault as I had given him some bad information), so he could not assist me. But he was really gracious about it. Strikes me as a guy who works hard and charges a fair price.

We had a pretty severe frozen pipe situation and Geoff and his team worked tirelessly into the morning hours to get it unthawed. He was very informative and kept me and my tenants updated throughout the process. Charges were fair considering the time and effort these guys put in. I will definitely use them again in the future!

Jan and his team are the go-to pros.  We've used them at two homes on jobs bigger and smaller and they've been prompt, courteous, and professional with high-quality work every time.   They recently put in a double-pump system with battery backup and the process was fantastic from start to finish, including tight installation and a great job by Jan of answering questions and addressing concerns.

I was in need of having my catch basin rodded so I went on Yelp to find a plumber. Received a few responses from different companies and reached out to a few. Victor came out to provide an estimate and was able to perform the job the same day. He was very professional and explained things in a manner that I could understand. They completed the job in a timely manner and left things nice and neat upon completion. You could tell he takes pride in his work. I appreciate the great service and will definitely contact him for any future plumbing needs.

Erick from DW was so great. He came the day I called (that same afternoon), and was super communicative / explained exactly what our issue was, the cost, several options on how to approach solving it, etc.

On top of that, our water shut off was buried under a foot of snow, and he worked with his associate for a full hour outside trying to find it. I very much appreciated the extra time he took in trying to solve the problem.
