Quote was estimated but After calling 3 times leaving my email for an estimate of replacing a pipe leaking the Company plumber did not even call back to tell he is busy or do not want to send me a quote for my condominium. Who does HVAC. Really do I have to chase you to give business? I am unsure how communications are being handled. Every time I have been promised to receive a call back and after a month I still do not have a quote I guess you are not respectful to customers and not willing to give you business referral. This is really not good standard of work ethics. I am not happy to chase a quote

We had water coming through our living room from a second floor bathroom on Saturday afternoon. We called several plumbers who promised to call back and never did. Chicago Sewer and Drain answered the phone and scheduled to have someone come out within a couple of hours. David arrived early, figured out the problem and took care of it. They were very professional and we'll be using them in the future. Highly recommend.

I'm surprised Jose doesn't have more reviews- because he's fantastic.

I had Jose here last week to fix my leaky toilet.  He was able to come within 24 hours of me calling him- and he fixed the toilet in less than a half hour.  Extremely nice- definitely can't go wrong with Jose!

I had a small gas leak that required attention right away and First Chicago saved the day! They gave me a quote via Yelp very quickly and were able to come out the same day. Very reasonable price compared to other estimates and the work was done quickly and well. They assured me that if the leak was still there when the gas was turned back on they would come back for free to address it, but there was no need. Nicor turned the gas back on and the repair did the trick. Thank you First Chicago!

My experience with Sound Plumbing was as follows - we own a 2-flat building with friends, and Kevin worked on the plumbing when the upstairs bathroom was renovated.  We liked the work we saw, so hired him to work on our bathroom - first floor unit. The work began with a large plumbing stack being re-situated and re-set into the basement floor. Then Kevin re-rerouted all 4 of the major points to the new bathroom - sink, tub, shower, and toilet. So the work was considerable.  

He is detail-oriented, and treats plumbing as a science.  

Most importantly, Kevin does not appear to take shortcuts, he would rather do the job correctly the first time than come back to work on it again.

Strong work, and everything happened within a relatively short timeframe. Kevin also worked well with the other workers on the site - Carpenter, Electrician, etc. This was crucial because they sometimes overlapped on the job, and some flexibility was required.  

I would highly recommend giving Kevin a call for any plumbing work you need done.

Contacted Midwest Hydro Jetting for advice, after hiring another company whose hydro jetting machine was underpowered, and unable to clear a blockage in my sewer line.This company recommended that I spend several thousand dollars to install a clean out, which I realised may or may not solve the problem, given that the location of the blockage was towards the back of the building. Midwest recommended trying to rod out the line first, before resorting to having them hydro jet, or install a clean out I appreciated all the advice, and how they were trying to save me unnecessary additional expense.

I was experiencing regular sewer backups and called on several plumbing/sewer companies. Andrew responded for Captain Rooter. He was very responsive, pleasant to work with and he has excellent communication skills. Andrew patiently explained the cause of problem and the best way to resolve it. He also did what three other companies did not do and that was to look at the backwater valve through the access box. Taking that necessary step and reviewing a previously recorded camera inspection, he quickly pinpointed the cause of the blockage/backup. The major work the other companies said had to be done was not necessary significantly reducing the amount of time and cost to complete the work. Andrew is the real deal and one of the best service providers I have ever contracted. If you need a sewer expert, I am confident he is knowledgeable in all aspects of plumbing, I recommend you consider Andrew.

Darell did a really good job. We are trying to install a smart Toto toilet washlet cover, but wasn't sure where to get the power supply. Darell provided us a complete solution for installing this water proof outlet and showed us how to route the water supply. Excellent job. Highly recommended.

Hristo was great! He responded so quickly. He gave a competitive price. He even had to go to his store and come back for a specific part to fix our weird sink problem. He also wore a mask and booties the whole time. Will definitely use ABV plumbing in the future!

VERY Happy!!  Dmitri showed  up on time wore a mask, took off his shoes at the door and went right to work.  He did a great job installing my new faucet and even disconnected my sprayer and suggested a soap dispenser I could install - I couldn't be happier!

Believe the 5 star reviews, Mike is awesome! It's so nice to have a plumber in my contacts who I not only know will do great work, but is also fair and 100% trustworthy. Mike is also super responsive, dependable, and takes great pride in his work. And to top it all off, we actually had a really fun day together when he came by! We messaged for a quote at 11pm on a Thursday night and they responded within 10 minutes and came out the next day. They came out for a quote but ended up fixing all issues (even small ones I didn't initially ask about)

Had Noel and his fellow plumber in to clear two very slow drains, a tub and shower. They showed up during the one hour window they said and had the drains flowing within a half hour. Their end price was what I was quoted on the phone. Noel made some recommendations about keeping hair out of the drains and an easy tool to get for clearing hair from drains. Both men were courteous and friendly.  I would gladly hire them again.

Chas arrived on time, mask and booties.  He was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem, a leaky, not working disposal, had a unit at the ready for replacement, installed it and was gone within 25 minutes.

We needed a garbage disposal replaced, so I hit yelp for a plumber.  Vanguard was  a shot in the dark, but i took the chance.  I was fortunate to find these guys, they brought excellent service for minimal cheese.  They were on time, speedy and thorough.  I would definitely recommend to a friend;)

Victor (owner of Plumbing 123) was great!

My mom's house had a clogged drain line from the bathroom but the rest of the house's drains worked. I called several plumbers, described the situation,  and Victor gave me an estimate that was fair, stating I was 4th in line for the day should I accept.  I did accept.

He came before his estimated time and texted me to ask if that was OK.

He ran a camera up the drain line and showed me the roots that were causing the clog. He then cleared the clog with the machine that cuts the inside of the pipe clear and showed me the result by running the camera up the drain line again. My mom's clogged drain line problems were solved.

But Victor went above and beyond: He ran the camera towards the city's sewer line under the street (which had been draining well all along). He showed me a place where the main drain line had separated and one pipe had settled downward with respect to another, causing a narrowing of the sewer line. He suggested the city may own this part of the sewer line and that they need to fix it (rather than my mom having to hire a plumber).

I've kept Victor's number so I can call him next time my mom has a plumbing problem.

Amazing service! I can not recommend Fixer highly enough. The process to book was simple easy, and their team had availability during the time slots we needed. The Fixer dispatch quickly texted to confirm the work (we exchanged a few pictures of the projects) and booked the appointment. We requested Fixer to hang a towel rack, change a smoke detector, and repair a broken closet door.

Our Fixer, Edgar, showed up on time (actually five minutes early), was extremely courteous, professional, prepared, and qualified. He worked for 1.5 hours (pricing after the first hour is prorated by the minute) and was transparent about timing, etc. He came prepared with basic hardware, but let us know we needed some additional pieces to repair the cabinet door, which we were able to easily find at a hardware store while Edgar was working on the other projects.

When the finished, he walked us through the bill (which again was very transparent!) and told us we'd receive a final bill via text/email - which we did within minutes. Through that final bill you can rate, review, and leave a tip for your Fixer.

Fixer made the process of finding a handyman, (which from experience can be difficult) quick and easy. We'll definitely be back!

The pipe under our kitchen sink burst at 5pm on a Sunday night and we were sure it would be impossible to find someone to fix it.  We reached out to a few different places and Drain Works was the friendliest, most responsive, and best price.  They told us they could be there at 7pm and then called 10 minutes before arriving, and arrived right at 7pm.  Erick explained what needed to be done to fix it and gave us a fair price.  Would definitely hire them again.
