This is definitely my new plumber.  They were very friendly and came over fast to replace a leaky faucet.  The plumber, Tony, was great and I highly recommend him and Rocket Plumbing.

Thomas and team were prompt and super responsive.  They Hydrojetted two pipes and cleared out all of the sewage.  They also replaced my toilet and did a great job.  Highly recommend!

I was very impressed with Jose's work. He is efficient,  organized,  courteous, and knowledgeable.  He and his assistants won't hesitate to return to correct any lingering issues. I always recommend him to anyone who seeks a plumber in the near west side suburbs.

I live in Bucktown now - not Orland Park.  I had a slow drip in my ceiling and couldn't figure out where the water was coming from.  Eugene came out and immediately figured out my problem and had things back to normal in no time at all.  While he was here, he fixed my toilet that was constantly running, as well. I'll call First Chicago Plumbing again!

I love the idiot that gave Sound Plumbing one star. You can't make everyone happy I guess. Especially that moron. You should read the rest of his reviews, that guy wouldn't give 5 starts to his grandma for a home cooked meal

Good thing I took that dip wads review with a grain of salt. I have hired Kevin for some smaller demo projects of my old bathroom and kitchen. I will be hiring him for the trim portion of my said kitchen and the new bathroom that I intend on installing in the near future.

I'm in the skilled trades like Kevin and I know for a fact you can't find much better of a craftsman or a more honest and down to earth guy.

I'll refer him to everyone I know needing a plumber.

Had a clogged sewer line, backing up into the house on a Friday afternoon, called several local Park Ridge Plumbers, no one could handle for 24-48 hours.  I called Greentech, Kevin answered, and came over at 5pm and did the job, great customer service skills, I will use him again!

10 out of 5 stars. I have literally, LITERALLY nothing but good things to say. Danny and Jose Knocked It Out Of The Park. Mark, the boss/guy my husband spoke to on the phone also made an instantly good impression.

Googled for an emergency Plummer and these guys came up. I had a leaking kitchen faucet. Adam and Dave arrived in less than 2 hours. It needed a part, they had to go to two stores to find it. Once back they made  the repairs fast.
Would recommend and use again.

Our outdoor outlet broke and they were in and out in the same day. Dino and Eli came in, fixed the problem, upgraded our outlet, and were so respectful the whole time.

Chris was prompt and patient to identify and address all of our plumbing issues. The first plumber we used did nothing to resolve the problem, but Chris took the time to make sure his solutions addressed all issues thoroughly. I would definitely recommend!

Very easy to deal with.  I requested maintenance on my tankless water heater.  Transparent with the pricing.  Came out the next day and was on time.  Did the job and was seamless.  Showed me pictures of the before and after.  Have nothing bad to say.

I highly recommend Mike! He came out yesterday to assess and fix a leaky pipe and he was honest and kind and straightforward. He did the work the same day and charged a fair price and worked efficiently. We will definitely be a customer of his in the future!

Juan came out to replace a wax ring on a toilet. He quickly did the work and the toilet is now very secure. He was  friendly and able to do the work with a days notice. Reasonable price and very responsive. I would definitely use him again for any plumbing work I need done.

Noel responded quickly to my call. He asked me to take photos and that made it easier for him to diagnose remotely. Clever.

Our outdoor spigot was leaking and I was hoping to get it fixed quickly because our outdoor watering system for plants is attached to it so needed to keep it on during hot season. I called and someone was able to come out the same day (no extra charge to come so quickly). Geoff was our plumber and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was nervous when he said he had to cut a hole in the ceiling but he made a very minimal, clean cut hole and even offered to vacuum up after! He showed me the how to work my new spigot and charged me what I thought was a very fair price... also it was what he quoted to start with which I appreciate. Highly recommend apex and Geoff!

A few months ago, after moving into a new place, the decade+ old 40-gal tank water heater (tucked away in a drain-less closet) failed, sending water all over the floor at approximately 7:00 AM. After shutting off the water and cleaning up, I went looking for a plumber.
Since the damage was already done, I took my time and shopped around. I originally wanted to replace my gas heater with a tankless electric variety (for safety reasons). I found a unit online that I thought would be perfect, as it worked with my existing electrical setup and was only a couple hundred dollars. Most plumbers I talked to either didn't know how to install a tankless model (and would only give me $1200+ quotes for tank variety, no custom-work installs), or they knew how, but they only wanted to install their own brands and at a price $1000 higher than I was comfortable with. When I called Vanguard, Jan was the only plumber I contacted who actually asked why I wanted to change from a tank to a tankless. He explained to me that the model I had chosen was insufficient for even a small apartment, and while he would install it if I really wanted him to, he worried that I'd be unhappy with the product (and that I'd spend more money later on removing it and replacing it with a more traditional tank model). To satisfy the safety concerns I had, Jan suggested we use a smaller-form 40-gal electric tank model, raise the tank off the ground, add in an overflow basin (to prevent any future disasters), route any overflow into the drain in the adjacent bathroom, and cap the gas line.

Not only was Jan the most honest and flexible in addressing my concerns, he gave me a quote lower than any other plumber I called (and lower than even the You can do it. We can help hardware giant with a poorly-reviewed replacement tank and bare-bones installation). He completed the tank replacement (with a premium grade tank), did all that custom work, and hauled away the old tank -- all in a few hours, and the quality of the work was very evident. It has been over six months, I'm still impressed with the job he did, and I haven't had an issue with hot water since.

I was thoroughly impressed with Jan's honesty and professionalism, and I will be making Vanguard my go-to plumbing company for any/all planned projects and unplanned emergencies.

Over the years I've had an overflow problem in my powder room at the  back of my main level.
I have three bathrooms, and every once in a while when I let the water out of the bathtub upstairs-KABOOM! I come downstairs to a mess!
Nothing worse than a sudden, often raw sewage, spill onto the floor, through the floorboards into the basement. Gross! I usually try to get rodding done ahead of time to avoid these casualties, but it's not always possible.
Such was the case earlier this year. So, I sent out rodding requests through yelp, and about five companies responded. Plumbing 123 responded quickly to my problem via text.
Following, Victor and I had a phone conversation about the issue. Victor and his associate showed up promptly the next day. The house is very old with an overhead sewage/drain system. There was one pipe that I have believed to be the problem. In the past, other plumbers have disregarded my thoughts about this pipe.
The routine has been 'rod the sewer and leave.'

Not Victor. He opened up the problematic pipe. It was under a lot of pressure and totally backed up with disgusting, smelly raw sewage. He repaired the pipe, took care of the problem, put a new clean-out specifically for that pipe and all at a much more reasonable cost than anyone else had ever quoted.
I have some plumbing projects coming up, and he will definitely be my go to plumber from now on! He's a very pleasant, honest and responsive guy. Highly, highly recommend!
BTW, I live in the forest preserve/flood plane area of Des Plaines in 100-year-old home. These problems are not uncommon around here.
