This is my first time writing an interview on Yelp ever! I even had to create this account just to write, but I was so pleased and happy with the Job, I couldn't ignore how well the service was. It was literally the Job from HELL! My 11 year water heater died and instantly made an appointment with Rocket Plumbing. Anthony came the same day and diagnosed that I needed a new Heater. We scheduled and appointment and the day come where we had to change it out. The previous owners of my condo were idiots due to the horrendous placement of the old heater. What was suppose to be a 2 hour job ended up being 6 hours, but Anthony pulled through. One of the best service men I have met, he will always work with you to make the smoothest job possible. I highly recommend anyone to have any plumbing needs, be done by this company. Thanks again Rocket Plumbing!

I found Chicago Sewer And Drain Professionals from a Yelp search. My neighbor had water leaking into her unit, and I needed help identifying what was causing the leak and fast service. I loved this company because they were highly professional and quick to respond. The owner had excellent phone etiquette and answered my call right away. I called around 6 am, and the company came out around 9 am the same day. I wasn't 100% if the company did plumbing in bathrooms because the page is marketing as sewers; however, they did. The company identified that my bathroom faucet needed to be replaced, and they would not find the exact model I already had. The faucet was replaced, and I was delighted with the service.

I'm removing a star because the price was not competitive, and I believe I was overcharged. For the level of service and quick turnaround, the control should demand a competitive price, but I was charged ~$350 for the service and $417 with parts. The company did not overcharge me on the pieces because I went to Home Depot the next day and saw comparable prices. The average cost to replace a faucet in Illinois ranges from $150-$350, and I was charged on the higher end of the estimate. Also, I was told I had two bad water valves, which would be an additional $600. I opted not to change the valves by Chicago Sewer And Drain Professionals and had another plumber come out the next day. The second company informed me that I only needed one value replaced and charged me $50. That is a dramatic price difference. Also, the second plumber told me that he could use the old knobs from my previous faucet so I wouldn't have to change the double faucet to match. I wish  Chicago Sewer And Drain Professionals would have shared that option because I discarded the old parts out.

I would recommend quick, professional service, but be aware  of their pricing model.

I hired Windy City Plumbing to install a new kitchen faucet and am very happy with their service. The plumbers were prompt, courteous and very respectful of my home. I plan to hire them again for future plumbing jobs and also refer them to others.

We had new countertops installed, and a new sink along with it, and I was looking for a plumber to come in behind them to get our faucet (installed) and reconnected.  We also had a fixture we wanted changed out in the bathroom.  These guys were able to come out that same day and do everything I needed done.

They couldn't test the bathroom fixture and warned me about the leak that absolutely occurred because of the drain size.  I texted them, they came back out now that they could run the water, and got me all fixed up (again).  I really hope I'm not a regular customer, but I know I have great plumbers if I do.

Kevin and Sound Plumbing are a major find.

Kevin was referred to me by Ed of Red Electric.  Kevin repaired and replaced a lot of gas pipes at my home.  He is honest, responsive, smart, skilled, friendly and fair.  He also looked at redoing a bathroom, and had a lot of smart recommendations.  I highly recommend Kevin and his company.

I could not be more happy with the friendly and efficient service that Jesus provided.  I called him in the morning asking about potentially coming in to look at a toilet draining issue when another company was going to take another day to come out to see it.  He was able to stop by about 30 minutes later to fix the problem.  He took the time to completely explain the issue and took another step to hopefully stop it from happening again.

Had a toilet with a malfunctioning fill valve that wouldn't shut off, they promptly diagnosed problem over the phone and gave me an estimate that was within twenty dollars of the actual price charged.  These guys are professional, fast and fairly priced and should be your first call.

My highest possible recommendation. Mike, the owner, Is incredibly responsive. For the second time in two years, our basement flooded because of old plumbing (on Memorial Day when no one was working). Last year, Danny came out to the house and, with careful and skilled analysis, was able to diagnose the issue. Fast forward a year later... the same problem. Mike and Danny fit us in right away, working late, and were able to resolve our issue. Danny took the time to explain the issue, provide recommendations for mitigation, and on routine maintenance. On top of all that, Danny could resolve our issue without damaging our basement floor, which would have been an easy way out. Danny could have also oversold us unnecessarily add-ons but was mindful of our emergency and treated us like neighbors. It saved us time and money and helped out when we needed it. These are good people! I have no affiliation with Midwest Hydro, but as long as Danny and Mike are there, I'll be a Midwest Hydro fan and loyal customer.

Toilet backed up on a Sunday and I needed it  fixed the same day. Adam from Captain Rooter called me soon after my inquiry and explained what he thinks the issue is and how it would be resolved.

He texted me when he was 5 minutes away and arrived at the time he said he would. He came in with another nice fellow and they got right to work.

They got the toilet working perfectly again, triple checked to make sure the issue was resolved, cleaned up after themselves and thanked me for the business. This is what great service looks like, huge thank you to Adam and team for turning my messy ordeal into a pleasant experience!

Darrell was the answer to my prayers! I own an old building and had a major leak that no one could figure out the cause of. And then along came Darrell and Sims and Sons. After a year of run around it was finally corrected properly. Next we had an old outlet short out. Once again Darell came to the rescue and fixed it. He showed me how a previous handyman had Jerry-rigged the wires and what needed to be done to turn it into a safe, permanently working outlet. I trust Darrell and am so grateful to have found someone honest! I have since had him out to my home, another old quirky building, for both electrical and plumbing issues. I can highly recommend Sims and Sons!

We had a great experience start to finish with ABV. When my in-laws' shower faucet began to get too loose and stop working, my husband tried to fix it. This, of course, resulted in the faucet breaking off completely and our need for some immediate help and repair. My husband sent out a yelp inquiry to a number of plumbers and ABV was the first to respond and also give us a flat rate of $125 for the repair. No one else would give us a flat rate and were also charging just to have someone look at it.

We set up an appointment the next morning with ABV. The plumber showed up right on time, giving us a text when he was 20 minutes away. He came prepared with the parts needed, was able to fix the issue in less than 30 minutes, and as a result only charged us a third of what his original flat rate we agreed on was since the repair was so easy and quick. You don't see that kind of honesty these days! The job was done with excellent quality and the faucet works like a dream now.

Great experience with this company. Our garbage disposal (we thought) created a clog somewhere, which we thought we had resolved until water started dripping through the basement ceiling. I wanted to get this fixed fast so we could use our kitchen sink and dishwasher again (also I was terrified of the leaking!). I called the first well reviewed company on Yelp.

I am so happy with that decision. Alex at C & J came out within an hour, investigated the issue and called back within an hour with pricing for fixes. He pointed out a problem with the piping between our dishwasher and disposal (previously  raised in our home inspection) and we agreed it should be fixed while working on the original issue. I expected we might see someone in a few days, but they had a guy out within another hour! He went to work methodically until he ran into an issue trying to unclog the pipes. The clog was trapped deep and they couldn't reach it. He talked me through what he was going to try - when that didn't work, he called Alex up (for a more experienced perspective, as I understood it) and Alex came back out to take a look. They talked me through the new plan, which involved cutting out some pieces of pipe. After it was done, they showed me the pipe - it was totally (disgustingly) clogged! They created a new access point for the pipe, so if it gets clogged again, it will be easier to clean.

In summary, C & J was super fast, polite, clear in their explanations and successful. I can't comment on prices bc I didn't call any others to compare, but I was comfortable with what I paid. And Alex even called up the next day to make sure everything was working. Knock on wood, everything looking great so far.

Spoke with Mike over the phone and he gave me some DIY advice on some of the trouble I had with my old faucet. Though, I didn't feel comfortable changing the faucet myself as the pipes I had were old, I decided to have him come over and do it. During the process, I was able to watch and he answered all the questions I had about what he was doing and he answered all the general plumbing questions I had. I would highly recommend him as he's very knowledgable and patient.

Juan is great, he is extremely responsive and quick, and was able to give me an accurate quote ahead of time. He did a very professional job and explained to me exactly what he was doing at every step. Highly recommended!

I used Noel for a few different services over the past few weeks and his response, honesty and overall professionalism was impressive.  an awkward water heater removal and installation plus some minor plumbing related questions were answered with honest advice given.  He will be our go to guy for a long time.

Plumber was very condescending over the phone and clearly did not want to take on the work. I was told that free estimates don't apply to condominium buildings. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and transparency with Apex.

The whole process of requesting services through completion of work was efficient and professional. I will continue to use Vanguard for plumbing services as they've been the right choice for me for the past six or seven years.

Victor is super friendly, responsive, and prompt. He's helped us a few times, first by advising on other vendors we can contact to help with basement storm leakage (no charge for this consultation), and then by helping us to fix a leaking bathtub and toilet very quickly. I highly recommend contacting Plumbing 123 for any plumbing issues!

I tried Fixer for the first time and can't recommend it. The two guys were super nice and professional but the quality is bad. They installed two doors, an electrical outlet, and repaired an outlet. The pictures speak for themselves, this level of quality was not worth anywhere near the $1000 I paid.

Had an issue with the hot and cold water to my washing machine, they showed up the next day and fixed it when others wouldn't. Great stuff
