I had some issues with (I thought) a sump pump.  Rocket Plumbing employee Tony comes out and claims it's a bad check valve and ejector pump after looking at it for 5 minutes.  How is the ejector pump bad when you don't even look at it?  

Anyways, I had to get approval from my land lord so I told him I'd call and schedule a time to do the work the next day.  He said, no problem, we can do that and leaves.

Well, Rocket Plumbing claims on their web site We actually pick up when you call!.  That's a lie.  I called later that same day and left a voice mail to confirm the time since they DIDN'T pick up.  Day turns into night and no return call.  The following day I take off work as I needed to get this fixed.  I called as soon as I woke up.  Guess what?  No answer.  Guess what else?  They never returned my second voice mail.

Needless to say I called a different plumber (The Plumbing Doctor) who came over and did great work.

I signed up for Yelp just to write this bad review because other's need to know how they do (and don't do) business.

David and Thomas did a great job identifying the issue with our ejector pit drains and were very thorough in resolving the issue from a variety of creative standpoints. I highly recommend chicago sewer and drain professionals!

Chris did an awesome job. Our old garbage disposal was leaking. Chris replace it within half an hour. Now our kitchen is beautiful and clean again.

Have used these guys for a few projects with a couple of my properties. They are quick to follow up and communicate everything clearly via email and invoices, I misinterpreted something that one of workers and I discussed, but it was in fact written clear as day in the invoice, so it was my fault. they are very fair, and wont do unnecessary work if it is not needed. They will also make recommendations, but will not pressure you into getting those things performed. They are on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for! Have not had any issues with any of the work they completed, and they were super helpful and flexible with scheduling!

They showed up right on time, got the problem fixed in ten minutes.  Very efficient and polite.

I had called two plumbing companies to rod out a kitchen sewer drain and they failed miserably. Thankfully, I call Jesus and in 20  minutes resolved our problem flawlessly. He was very clean, polite and stuck around to be sure the drain was cleared properly.
I recommend J Sewer without any hesitation.

I called Green Tech because of a leak in the pipes of my kitchen sink. Bill, the person I spoke with to set up my appointment, was awesome when it came to getting someone over to my place ASAP. The actual plumber, Josh, was punctual, professional, and did a great job answering any questions we had during the consultation, helping to make us feel more comfortable about the job before we began the work. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Connected with Mike to try to get quotes for our HOA. Sent a video of the issue, but he would not provide quotes for issues without coming in person and charged a fee to come for a quote. It is possible that he was frustrated by some of the text messages I was saying and that our HOA would not pay for him to come for a quote, which is his company's usual protocol. When I asked for referrals to another plumber when he would not provide any additional quotes, he would not supply any additional plumber company contacts. I was very disappointed with his communication and will never reach out to this company again.

We had an emergency pipe break in our basement and water started spewing everywhere. Our water shut off wasn't working, so I frantically searched the internet for plumbers who could be there quickly. We had a plumber from another company come first and he said he had no idea how to fix the problem (thanks) and left. Next, we called these guys who were here in under an hour. LIFESAVERS!

It turned out that our b-box (city line shut off valve) was super old and messed up and that was preventing us from turning off water to the home. The team worked late that night and were here at 9 am the next two mornings to help us resolve the issue really quickly and run new piping from the curbside into our home.

Adam specifically went above and beyond, checking in with us frequently to keep us updated on costs, ETAs of when the team would be here, and more. He explained the whole project start to finish. Thank you so much, Adam!!

We will be calling again for drain/sewer cleaning in the future (and hopefully not many more emergency projects)!

Sims and Sons is great! Darrell was able to fix a seemingly difficult electrical issue I had without opening up the wall or using cable concealers. I would definitely use them again for electrical and plumbing! Highly recommend.

I called because we have a spigot on the front of the house that has just a trickle of water.  A spigot, you know, that connects to a pipe in your house through a wall, that you connect your garden house to.  I wanted it evaluated so that I can use it water the front yard, but more importantly to make sure a leak wasn't causing the lack of water pressure.  The woman I spoke to originally said they only do indoor plumbing.  Huh?  Did she think we had a clog in our outhouse? I explained the plumbing for all of this is indoors, and runs through the wall for use with a garden hose. Come on, every house has these.  She said she'd talk to the plumber, and then called back to say the manager said they don't do that kind of work. They don't evaluate pipes with limited flow that may possibly be caused by a  leak.  Good to know. Guess they'd be called a boutique shop, with such limited service.  Or just a really bad plumbing service.

We used CJ Plumbing for some kitchen work. They came out the same day I called to check out what needed to be done, set up a time, and give a quote. Our countertops were delayed which then delayed the plumbing work on the stove and sink. They were still able to come back within 24 hours to do the work. Our stove had no gas shut off so they installed a shut off and connected the cooktop. The plumbing under the sink was all messed up, not up to code, and they did a phenomenal job correcting all the plumbing there as well. Not only efficient but done very well. Will definitely have them come back for future plumbing work we need done.

Great, fast service from Mike the Plumber. He came on short notice to remove then reinstall my kitchen sink plumbing after I had some new counter tops installed. He even fixed my bathroom toilet (slow to fill up) and unclogged my bathroom sink.  The price was very reasonable and he performed everything very quickly. If I ever have any plumbing issues I will be sure to call Mike.

Juan replaced my 75-gallon water heater. It was a more complex job than initially thought, as it required numerous adjustments to existing gas and water pipes to accommodate the new unit (of a different brand), but Juan was patient and thorough to make sure the job was done right (despite the extra time commitment required). This was the third large plumbing job that I've hired Juan to tackle. I always find him to be extremely responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and more affordable than others. He takes tremendous pride in his work and never looks for the easy shortcut, which is why I continue to make him my first/only call when a plumbing issue arises. You won't regret doing the same.

Noel came to my home quickly to examine a drainage problem. Unfortunately he did not have his rodder with him (it was not his fault as I had given him some bad information), so he could not assist me. But he was really gracious about it. Strikes me as a guy who works hard and charges a fair price.

They were very responsive and came out quickly to our condo. They assessed the cause of the leak and took action to fix the problem. The plumber was very helpful and professional. We would definitely recommend Apex and will use them again for any future plumbing needs.

This company has false advertisement. They do not charge per job. They charge PER HOUR. $195 to check my sub pump, and $350 to check with a camera. Basically to unscrew my pump and look inside is $195. To properly check my sub pump (with a camera) is $350. So basically you pay a ton of money for a half ass job and even more money for the correct way of doing things. Not only that but the guy that picked up was extremely impatient and rude and I wouldn't want someone like that checking anything on the property that I manage. No offense but why the heck am I going to pay a Plummer what most attorneys charge hourly? Seek elsewhere, unless you want to be completely ripped off.

The management left a comment below stating that I had a leak..... this is completely untrue. I did not mention anything of a leak and only asked about checking my sub pump. These prices above were just to check my sub pump. I ended up going with another company that came and did a free quote and even checked my sub pump with a camera. Unfortunately this company didn't get my business because of their unfair, crazy, prices to simply come out and check my pump. The other company that came out for free to check my pump ended up getting $2500 of my business and I paid cash. (They added a back up sub pump and did some foundation work)
Had this company been honest about their pricing they most likely would've gotten my business. I also would be aware of a company such as this, that will completely lie on a yelp review (see management comment) to try and make my review invalid instead of owning up to their false advertisement.

Excellent service. I contacted Victor after a contractor told me I may need to dig up my floor surrounding a pipe in order to fix a problem. Victor was very responsive and stopped by in a timely matter to access the situation and offer a solution. Victor and his team are professional, reasonable, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Fixer is awesome! They sent Katie, a very knowledgable and friendly handy person who could do any job I threw at her, and she got to my house within an hour of my text to Fixer. I initially called because a pipe in our basement was leaking, AFTER different plumber had been here the week before. Katie came to measure, then went to the store to get the appropriate replacement pipe. She came right back and got to work. It's two weeks later now, and it's still as good as new.

She asked if I needed anything else done, and I ticked off a list of things we just hadn't gotten around to doing ourselves. Something was wrong with our gutters, they were overflowing when it rained and causing a big puddle in the corner next to our house. So she cleaned them out and found they were badly clogged. It was a really dirty job.

Then she fixed an old doorknob (original to the house) that we couldn't figure out. I mentioned we had a rip in a screen and she had some replacement screen in her car, so she fixed that too! Lastly, she painted some woodwork that needed a fresh coat.

I was so happy with everything Katie did. She was clearly very capable and fast, cleaned up really well in the areas she had been working, and everything she fixed is perfect. I could have kept here her all week! I will definitely be calling again.

Erick from DW was so great. He came the day I called (that same afternoon), and was super communicative / explained exactly what our issue was, the cost, several options on how to approach solving it, etc.

On top of that, our water shut off was buried under a foot of snow, and he worked with his associate for a full hour outside trying to find it. I very much appreciated the extra time he took in trying to solve the problem.

I would definitely recommend!!
