The owner Dmitri was quick to get ahold of me to schedule a same-day service for my kitchen and bathroom sink that had some clogging issues. Lenny then showed up within a couple hours and was very helpful when it came to explaining everything. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the professional service and reasonable pricing.

Ride the no-stress express.  Called them on a weekend eve (no emergency) for an upcoming install.  Surprised to get a call back same evening from Demitri (owner).  

He came out the next day for a quick estimate on installing a gas line for new gas stove. Set up a date and time quickly, even came early on the install day.  

Professional, personable, explained the process, clean and efficient. Done.  Thumbs up.

We had some water leaking from our ceiling under a bathroom. I put out several request for quotes on Yelp and Dmitry was one of the first to respond and the only one who didn't push me off until business hours or ask for a consultation first before offering an appointment. We chatted within minutes of my response to him; he offered some troubleshooting over the phone, and was able to get someone out to us within 36 hours.
Lenny arrived to the minute of his promised arrival time, was very efficient, and did a nice job explaining what was needed. He even looked at and addressed an unrelated issue for us. And he left us with a very nice gel pen.

We had CJ plumbing come out to add an additional hose bib and separate all other hose bibs on a designated line. We also had them install a vanity and toilet in our powder room. The work that was done was exceptional, and exactly what we asked for. They were very communicative throughout the whole process and worked with us to come out with a quote that was fair. I would definitely recommend them for any other projects and will be using them again for our plumbing needs. A+ company.

The best, most efficient plumber I have ever used. We had several longstanding issues we had fixed while disconnecting our plumbing for a foundation repair. We decided to kill many birds with one stone and we're extremely happy we did, the work these guys do is immaculate. The coordination and timing was very helpful with our particular situation as someone was coming home in the middle of all of this from a prescheduled chemotherapy treatment, great customer service all around. As a side note I would never trust someone that my dog didn't like and our dog wanted to leave with Dmitry....like we weren't even here.

We needed to replace our kitchen faucet, and Dmitry was very responsive and helpful in helping us select and install the right one.  Dmitry's colleague (another Dmitry) came to our home and installed it promptly, explained everything he was doing and cleaned up afterward.  He also was friendly and willing to answer all our questions, and Dmitry called to follow up and ensure we were satisfied upon completion of the project.

We would definitely use them again, and appreciate their good service.

I called them after multiple pipes had frozen, thawed, and burst in our home. They got back to us right away and helped us the following morning. Dmitry methodically figured out each issue, checked in to explain what was happening, fixed the issue, and got us back on our feet in a day. And did so with care to preserve as much of our fixtures and bathroom as possible. An honest, responsive plumbing company we will be sure to call the next time we have an issue.

Good experience overall. Reached out on a Saturday, connected with Dmitri and received two quotes that were dependent on the root cause of the issue (slow draining water) and set up an appointment for the following Tuesday.

Lenny showed up and provided more details on the quotes and was off to work. Within a half hour he called me from my office and walked me through what he did, and showed me the draining issue had been fixed. Quick, reasonable and solid work all around.

Extremely poor communication. Dmitry wanted to handle everything through text (which is completely fine) and I sent him all the details and pictures I could. He said he was good with the info I sent but his estimate on the work was very vague so I asked for clarity and didn't get any. I then asked if he could email the details and proposal to me, he said Saturday which was 4 days away. i understand he probably has other jobs so I waited.
On Sunday still nothing...followed up saying I want to move forward with the work based on the initial estimate but just need the detailed quote to make sure...he asked for home address and that was it. Monday I follow up again and then said he will send out a proposal once I confirm I am interested in scheduling and it still wouldn't get sent out for another day.
As you can see how frustrating the communication has been. Maybe he does good work once you get ahold of him and seems fairly priced as I compared to other plumbers but if you don't get a quote in a couple days after providing the scope of the job, just move on if you're hoping for something sooner than later
*response: again the issue is poor communication. I did tell Dmitry I was looking for service immediately and it took a week for them to tell me they are 4 weeks out. They did not offer in person, only a follow up call that was not even needed. Screenshot of that conversation is below.

Lenny came out to our place to install new fixtures in a shower. He showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. Altogether a great, professional company.

On a Sunday, our ejector pump died. We started a help claim from yelp and CJ Plumbing was one of the first to reply. The owner, Dmitry, was available on a Sunday to troubleshoot our situation over the phone. He figured out a way to temporarily bypass our issue. This saved us money by being able to wait until normal hours to get service. It was amazing and provided us with a huge relief!

We needed expedited plumbing work after our hot water heater started leaking.  Dmitri responded quickly with a fair and comprehensive quote.  We didn't use his services because we found that someone had not tightened the drain valve.  I will definitely call these guys again for the next plumbing job.

Poor communication also. Dimitri said he'd think about it, when I proposed a resolution where they paid for part and I'd pay for part of it. Then ghosted me. Also was very aggressive and mocking on the phone. Not someone you want to do business with.

We've had several plumbing issues with the purchase of our new home. I trust these guys to be honest with me and fix what needs to be done without overselling anything. Very responsive, reasonably priced and great service. Highly recommend.

We've used CJ Plumbing now for a hot water replacement, faucet replacement and addition of a pump for our hot water heater. Each time they have been easy to reach and schedule with. I appreciate that Dimitry is mindful to save trips and time by properly diagnosing the issue before starting the work. They've fixed our plumbing issues and will be our go-to in the future!

Dmitry was quick to respond to our call Monday evening when our bathroom drain was clogged and my husband couldn't fix it with drano or a snake. He sent Lenny the next morning who wore a mask and put booties on so our floors wouldn't get dirty. Lenny was very professional and knew what he was doing! He was honest and gave my husband tips on other plumbing issues/questions. Great service overall and will definitely call them again and recommend them to family and friends!

I recently purchased a condominium and had to redo some of the plumbing work in the bathroom and kitchen.   When I reached out to Dimitri, he responded immediately and asked very good questions and for some pictures so he could diagnose over the phone.   He was able to schedule me within a reasonable time and his plumbers arrived promptly as promised.

The plumber arrived and was very polite and respectful. They took care to watch their surroundings and asked about wearing a mask. Also, during the repair work the plumber took the time to explain the problems and was very transparent about what needed to get done to properly repair.  If there were additional findings, the plumber reviewed those with me and asked for my approval prior to purchasing another part or moving forward with additional work.

I have used CJ plumbing a few more times since then and the experience has been spectacular and consistent among the different plumbers.

Dimitry was super responsive and reached out within 15 minutes of the request. He gave me the price of the job ​over text vs other plumbers i reached out to and they had to come out and quote the job. Dimitry was able to provide me with insurance and plumbers license very fast also as this was a requirement from my HOA. On day of repair Lenny showed up and was ready to go. He had all the materials and knew what needed to be done. After the job he cleaned everything up and confirmed everything was operational before heading out.

My parents are elderly and have a hard time keeping up with their house. I was visiting from out of state last week and noticed that their bathtub drain wasn't working. I did a little research and knew it would be an involved process, and worried that they might be taken advantage of.  After reading some online reviews, I called CJ Plumbing. They asked a bunch of questions and had me send photos before providing an estimate, and were in close contact as we scheduled the work. Lenny came out exactly on time and was so efficient that they charged less than we expected! That's a first, and it gives me peace of mind to know they have a trustworthy plumber.

After purchasing a home last year, we experienced a number of plumbing issues due to the previous owner being neglectful and/or just doing poor quality plumbing work. So, when we needed to install a new sink, I called CJ Plumbing & Heating and not only did they diagnose a number of plumbing issues that weren't up to code, they spotted some red flags that would eventually fail and leave us with serious flooding issues.

Through several visits, the team at CJ, especially Lenny, helped us install the sink, reroute the dishwasher drain to the main line rather than the garbage disposal, install two new shutoff valves (we live in an old house and we only had one valve that didn't shut off all the way), fix the b-box so we could actually shut water off to the house from the street (we previously weren't able to), reroute the drains from our upstairs bathroom that were installed incorrectly (which caused a terrible smell to build up in the bathroom over time), and cleared a blockage between the house and main sewer line that was causing water to pour back into the basement when it rained hard.

Obviously, this laundry list of repairs added up to quite a lot of money, but the team at CJ Plumbing helped us out by working with our home warranty company and by providing us with a few discounts on labor/equipment that made the cost much more manageable.

Next time you need a plumber, please don't try to tackle the issue yourself or have a family friend try to do the repair. Call a licensed professional at CJ Plumbing so you know that the job is done right the first time!

Very easy to deal with.  I requested maintenance on my tankless water heater.  Transparent with the pricing.  Came out the next day and was on time.  Did the job and was seamless.  Showed me pictures of the before and after.  Have nothing bad to say.

Great professional service and a job well done. Dmitry from CJ Plumbing arrived on time and had all the parts that were necessary to fix my leaky, drippy bathtub faucet and my non stop running toilet. I just moved into an old house and it's such a relief to find a good repair person who gets the job done right. They are a little pricey 250/hr but worth it. I would definitely call them again if needed.

Great service! Would do 4.5 stars if that was an option because the plumber was 2 hours late but he was in and out quickly and was honest about what needed to be done by him and what we could save money on doing it ourselves. Love that they are open on Saturdays to answer calls. We've scheduled them twice, once during our home inspection and this time when we closed on our house and both times were Saturdays. Nice to not have to wait until Monday to get them scheduled!

My bathtub water wasn't going down as quickly as I'd hoped so after doing about 2 minutes of research, I decided to use a plastic drain snake I got off Amazon. I stuck about a ft in and when I tried pulling it out, it broke off inside. Turns out, you're not supposed to use those in tubs... ay yi yi.

I called CJ Plumbing and Dmitry sent someone out the next day. I thought they'd have to open up the wall because the thing was so deep but they managed to get it out in no time. These guys are my go-to plumbers because they're so quick and the work is good. Thank you again!

Needed a ball valve installed on the water main in my basement. Service was fast and well done. Would use CJ plumbing again.

My kitchen garbage disposal clogged and backed up last Friday, so I needed an emergency visit. My regular plumber couldn't get here until Tuesday of this week so I called CJ Plumbing based on these positive reviews. Dmitry answered the call and agreed to get someone over to my house right away.  Lenny was in the area and arrived in about 15 minutes which was amazing!   He is very personable (had no problem wearing a mask and booties), took apart the drain pipe to clear the clog, and put everything back together quickly and correctly.  I so appreciate the quick response, and Dmitry texted on Saturday to make sure everything went well. I would call CJ again without hesitation.  Thanks Dmitry and Lenny!

CJ had to deal with several problems in my newly purchased house:  fixed my powder room water pressure problem and installed new faucet, fixed my shower fixture which was not installed by the contractor properly, installed a new sump pump with backup system, installed clothes washer, and put in new hot water heater.  Everything was top notch and they were very focused on getting things done properly.  They are honest, highly competent and responsible and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others!  I finally have plumbing that works in this house!

Toilet was leaking in my en suite and I wanted to take care of it ASAP before it caused damage downstairs. I reached out to CJ Plumbing and they got back to me within 10 minutes. We scheduled a date and the plumber whose name I didn't catch came in masked up and put shoe covers on which I really appreciated. He replaced the wax seal and I swear he left my bathroom cleaner then he found it. Everything looked so sparkly lol. Will definitely use this company again should I need the wax seal replaced in my other bathroom. Thank you!

I had a great experience and result. They aren't cheap at 250 for first hour and 185 for additional hours, but the work was excellent and for a licensed plumber you probably won't get cheaper. They were very responsive, scheduled me right away, and followed up to ensure I was satisfied.

Excellent experience overall.  Great communication with CJ from the beginning, provided an estimate before starting job and provided helpful recommendations.  Flexible with scheduling.  Lenny was prompt, efficient, and completed the job expediently.  Installed new faucet and addressed code violation, and was courteous, knowledgable, and answered all our questions thoroughly.  Highly recommended.

The toilet tank had a corroded bolt that was crumbling, causing a leak.  I called CJ Plumbing & Heating at 9am, was scheduled for a technician by 10am, Lenny arrived around noon, and by 2pm the whole thing was fixed.  I couldn't have asked for better service, clearer communication, or a more pleasant experience all around.  Highly recommmend!

This is my 2nd review for CJ Plumbing and Heating which should speak for itself that I'm a returning customer! Prompt and Excellent service for our home in Highland Park. Lenny came to our home to repair a leak in our basement and provided the same professionalism and helpfulness as the first visit last year. CJ Plumbing and Heating is our go to for all of our plumbing needs. I continue to recommend this business and especially Lenny for any plumbing service your home may need.

Okay, so being completely transparent, I didn't end up using them for my sink repair. But, I wanted to review just for the customer service. I called them this morning because I need to have the pipes fixed under my kitchen sink, as they're all corroded and have holes leaking everywhere. Dimitry asked me to send a picture of the issue so he could estimate it, which I did, and he called me back with a quote of $250-$275 to replace the 3 metal pipes with PVC. But, he openly said This isn't a hard job and you should just have a handyman do it, because any plumber will be way too expensive. Get a handyman who will cost $100 and you can use the savings to buy holiday gifts.

So, A+ customer service for honesty and knowing that the price he quoted me was way more than what is actually needed. If I ever need major plumbing (or heating) work done (which hopefully won't ever be the case, but life happens), I would definitely call CJ Plumbing & Heating first.

Super thrilled with this service! Lenny was fabulous, super quick, and effective at diagnosing and treating all of the complicated issues with our ~80 year old bathroom toilet, sink, and tub. He knew just what to do to make things work smoothly again. I also appreciated that he was very careful with covid precautions (mask, booties) and respectful throughout. I would absolutely rehire for any future plumbing needs. An easy 5 stars from me!

Great service, quality and price! We had an emergency sewer back up and needed to replace 8ft of cracked clay pipe. Called CJ Plumbing late on Tuesday, the week of Thanksgiving,  and he had Tylers Underground come out the next morning and replace everything for a great price. He checked in throughout the day to make sure things were going well and I was happy. Then on top of all of that he had a plumber come out within 15 minutes to help us with a completely separate issue. Highly recommend CJ Plumbing.

Lenny did a fantastic job disconnecting our old sink and faucet prior to the installation of new countertops (and saving us tons of trouble by anticipating a potential problem and fixing it) and then connecting a new sink and a new faucet afterwards, plus a new and larger garbage disposal. We went from two drains to one drain, and we thought the spawould be a bit tight, but Lenny rearranged everything beautifully. Top service, courteous, flexible and efficient. We also got extra help from Dimitry on the phone. Highly recommended.

We were having ongoing sump pump issues and our neighbor recommended CJ Plumbing. Dmitry responded within minutes of my initial call and he came out the next day (on a Saturday) to check it out. He diagnosed the problem and explained it clearly so that I could understand. Within a day or two he quoted a few potential solutions with corresponding prices, we agreed to a plan, then his plumber arrived a few days after that. His plumber was friendly and considerate (shoes, mask etc.) and got right to work. The job was completed quickly and the work is much more solid and professional than other plumbers I have used in the past. Absolutely would use CJ Plumbing again in the future.

These guys were great. Followed all appropriate COVID protocol.  Easily diagnosed my shower problem and sought out an effective fix for it rather than just replacing a bunch of parts. I called in the morning and everything was fixed same day. I like these guys. They're my new go-to guys for plumbing.

We had a series of plumbing tasks that needed to be done and we were disappointed in the experience that we had with another plumber in the area. Reviewing yelp and other resources, we felt that CJ plumbing and heating was the next firm we wanted to try out. Lenny was our assigned plumber and he did a fantastic job. He reinstalled three toilets in our home and replaced the associated shut off valves, giving us confidence that we would be ready for the holidays.  He arrived within 4 minutes of the appointment, used booties to protect our floors, wore a mask to protect our mutual health, cleaned under the toilets before reinstalling them and left everything spotless. Every detail was taken care of. The owner checked in with me to verify I was satisfied and I couldn't find a thing to nitpick. They're not cheap but they are clearly one of the best craftsmen in the area. Would definitely recommend and use again.

I had a really bad clog in my bathtub and contacted CJ Plumbing on a Monday evening. The next morning I spoke to Dmitry and within two hours Lenny came to the rescue.  Lenny knew exactly what to do and used everything in his toolbox to eventually clear the drain, it wasn't an easy one.  He was also very professional, friendly and was a good sport about my dogs barking at him.  I appreciated the very quick turnaround and while the cost was within budget, I wish I had gotten a rough estimate from Dmitry up-front. I should have known to ask ahead of time, but had forgotten.

Great experience with this company. Our garbage disposal (we thought) created a clog somewhere, which we thought we had resolved until water started dripping through the basement ceiling. I wanted to get this fixed fast so we could use our kitchen sink and dishwasher again (also I was terrified of the leaking!). I called the first well reviewed company on Yelp.

I am so happy with that decision. Alex at C & J came out within an hour, investigated the issue and called back within an hour with pricing for fixes. He pointed out a problem with the piping between our dishwasher and disposal (previously  raised in our home inspection) and we agreed it should be fixed while working on the original issue. I expected we might see someone in a few days, but they had a guy out within another hour! He went to work methodically until he ran into an issue trying to unclog the pipes. The clog was trapped deep and they couldn't reach it. He talked me through what he was going to try - when that didn't work, he called Alex up (for a more experienced perspective, as I understood it) and Alex came back out to take a look. They talked me through the new plan, which involved cutting out some pieces of pipe. After it was done, they showed me the pipe - it was totally (disgustingly) clogged! They created a new access point for the pipe, so if it gets clogged again, it will be easier to clean.

In summary, C & J was super fast, polite, clear in their explanations and successful. I can't comment on prices bc I didn't call any others to compare, but I was comfortable with what I paid. And Alex even called up the next day to make sure everything was working. Knock on wood, everything looking great so far.

Dimitri diagnosed a complex plumbing issue that was causing a rancid sewer gas problem in our 106-year-old house and recommended a temporary and inexpensive fix while we wait to start a more complete renovation. Soon after, Lenny made it to our home and quickly took care of the toilets that were causing the problem. So far so good! Dimitri and Lenny were very professional, courteous, and straightforward about everything. They clearly are very expert and don't recommend needless repairs, unlike other companies I had out to try (unsuccessfully) to diagnose and fix our problem.

So happy that we found CJ Plumbing. They answered my call (!), came that afternoon (!), scheduled the work for the next morning (!), and showed up and did an fantastic job! All done, problem solved (rodding of sewer line) in less than 24 hours. Amazing. We will call on them again when we need a plumber. Thank you!

VERY Happy!!  Dmitri showed  up on time wore a mask, took off his shoes at the door and went right to work.  He did a great job installing my new faucet and even disconnected my sprayer and suggested a soap dispenser I could install - I couldn't be happier!

Dmitri was amazing!  After our previous plumber had repaired a leaking kitchen faucet, we noticed the water pressure had dropped significantly.    We called this plumber for some help trouble-shooting; the owner was completely uninterested in helping us, and failed to even return my call.

I then researched local plumbers on Yelp and noticed that CJ Plumbing in Evanston had received spectacular reviews.  I called and talked to Dmitri, the owner.  He said he could probably correct the problem with minimal time and effort; he volunteered to come over and do this free of charge!
That's exactly what he did this afternoon, and our water pressure is now restored.

We had a pipe leaking for days in a very tight space. Once we identified the leak, most plumbers stated they couldn't come out for days. CJ Plumbing was able to come out almost immediately and fix the problem despite the small space, I was worried they would have to cut into the drywall. I would highly recommend!

We had our injector pump in the basement fail, which caused sewage to leak all over the finished and unfinshed parts of the basement.  Dmitry and his crew came super fast, identified the problems quickly, and provided accurate estimates for all repairs before executing the work.  They also provided a great recommendation for a rehabilitation and repair company.  They were fast, honest, and knowledgable.  I am a customer for life.

They also wore masks and were very good about taking proper COVID precautions so there was no problem in letting them inside the house for them to do their work.

We used CJ Plumbing for some kitchen work. They came out the same day I called to check out what needed to be done, set up a time, and give a quote. Our countertops were delayed which then delayed the plumbing work on the stove and sink. They were still able to come back within 24 hours to do the work. Our stove had no gas shut off so they installed a shut off and connected the cooktop. The plumbing under the sink was all messed up, not up to code, and they did a phenomenal job correcting all the plumbing there as well. Not only efficient but done very well. Will definitely have them come back for future plumbing work we need done.

I called during a holiday weekend assuming they wouldn't get back to me until the following week, but I received a call back within an hour of me leaving a voicemail. From that point on, the whole process was just so effortless and efficient. Dmitry was super professional and told us exactly what the issue was and what we had to fix. The next day, someone came by, fixed everything up in 1 hour! I was so pleasantly surprised of how quickly everything was complete. I will be recommending these guys to everyone, extremely reliable service.

We had some major pipe leak in our attic and I was able to get them to come out and figure out the problem and get the leaking under control immediately. They did need to return in a week to fix the pipe problem and they did an outstanding job. Dmitry the owner was great and worked with my landlords insurance company to make sure they had everything they needed. He could have said no to this and moved onto the next job but spent numerous hours talking to an unreasonable insurance company and did not get paid for this. It showed he cared about the customer and was not all about the money. Also, Lenny on his team who did the major work was great and kept us up to speed on everything. This is a great company who I highly recommend. Very trusty worthy and pricing was reasonable as well. Need more businesses like this!!!

We bought a house, and within a week of moving in everything turned to sh*t (literally, in some parts of the house). I called a bunch of other places, and CJ Plumbing was the only one who could make it out quickly. They were responsive over the phone and via text.

Then, when something that should've been simple got much more complicated due to the age of our home (we had a bad main valve), they stayed until the problem was fixed. All this, and at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend this company.

Lenny came out and replaced my kitchen faucet, bathroom faucet, shower head, and toilet. He encountered some challenges during the installs but had a good solution for everything, and I was certainly satisfied with the service. I recommend CJ Plumbing.

We had a drain backup in the basement and needed help fast. Dmitri arrived on time, observed CoVid protocol, took off his shoes without having to be asked, and went right to work. I called CJ Plumbing when the sump pump in our 4 flat failed, received a call back from the owner immediately, and had the pump replaced within a couple hours.  He (Dmitry) spent the time to ID the right size pump for the vertical clearance, and actually replaced the original with a more powerful pump based on the tech's input after arrival.  Warranties and cost of the job were clearly explained upfront.  This occurred during the Covid 19 crisis and the tech wore protective gear and sprayed alcohol on all surfaces he touched.

Very professional service. You know one thing is for a professional to provide service but when a professional explains the process so you understand why the service is being done. Then goes above and beyond to explain how it is done so you can know how to do it yourself is also a plus in my eyes. Had an ejector pump go out on a Saturday morning during the epidemic lockdown. CJ plumbing was able to get here within an hour to replace the pump. The tech was respectful of social distancing, complete with mask and gloves. Neat and tidy, friendly and professional. Straight forward reasonable transaction with no issues.

CJ plumbing is one of a few business I would recommend. When I called about relocating a copper pipe they were able to come out that same night and give me a very reasonable quote then came out the next morning to do the work. Lenny did exactly what I asked for and did a great job. I will call only them for my plumbing needs from now on.

This is the second time we've used them. They are by far the best. They just fixed the drain from our furnace. It was flooding our first floor. The other plumbers wanted way more to do it. If you want fast good work you have to use these guys. I'm glad we have them as our plumbers.

I can't imagine a better plumbing company. I first called them when water stopped draining down our kitchen sink. They came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and cleared it. A few weeks later, when we noticed a leak coming from our closet ceiling, I called right away. They came out quickly again, diagnosed the exact problem, explained why the pipe had corroded, and repaired it with no time wasted. Unlike a lot of companies, these guys have always worked efficiently, accurately, cleanly, at reasonable rates, and got the job done right. This is the only plumber I'll call in the future. Trust! I think trust is most important in choosing an expert to fix a problem. Of course experience, knowledge, ability and integrity are also needed. But trusting the reviews written by others or trusting the recommendation of a friend is sometimes all we have to go by. I had a clogged drain about 15 feet downstream from my kitchen sink. It was the result of overzealous use of the garbage disposal. I tried snaking the drain myself but the clog was too big (turns out about 2 feet of drain was totally blocked). I did research on several websites looking for a plumber in my area who I could trust to do the work right - at a fair price. I narrowed the list to 4 companies. At 7:15 PM on a weekday I called each of them. I got two answering services that could not answer any of my technical questions, another said they would have someone call me back in a few minutes (never happened) and then there was Dmitry. Dmitry is one of the owners of CJ Plumbing. He answered the phone himself. He was able to discuss my issue intelligently, explain the likely scenarios and give me an estimated price range (min and max) for the job. It was clear from his questions and his input that he understood the problem and knew the likely solutions. As it turns out, he was absolutely correct about the issue and what it would take to fix it. I wanted to consider what he said before making a commitment. He said I could call him back anytime in the next few hours. I called several hours later and again he answered the phone and we scheduled a visit for the following afternoon.

The plumber who showed up (not the person I spoke to) was a delight to work with. He was professional, polite, and patient as he answered my many questions. He tried a few easy options to fix the problem (e.g. using a powered drain snake). When those did not work he said the best option was to cut out the clogged section of drain (which he had located) and replace it with a new section of pipe. The clogged part of the pipe included two 90 degree bends. He removed that section and replaced the sharp bends with pairs of 45 degree bends to allow waste to pass through the more easily. The drain pipe ran along the ceiling of my unfinished basement so there was direct access to the pipe. After replacing the section of pipe he verified that there were no leaks and cleaned up the area of the basement where he worked as well as the area under the kitchen sink. He even cleaned the sink.  

I was VERY pleased with his work and with his personality. The cost of the repair was within the range quoted on the phone (though near the higher end). My trust in CJ Plumbing was rewarded by their performance and their honesty. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to friends and family. I recommend them to YOU.

I've used this company before...always very reasonable, friendly and honest. CJ Plumbing & Heating did quite a bit for my house. They sold and installed me a water heater, replaced our faucet in the kitchen. They also installed a new toilet in the downstairs bathroom. Everything turned out very well. Prompt, professional and not pushy with their services. Very happy to have a good plumber I can call whenever a need arises!!!!!

CJ Plumbing and Heating are trustworthy, thorough, and extremely clean.  Called them with an urgent issue and they scheduled an appointment for the very next morning.  They were on time for the appointment, and all work was completed in a single visit.  Pricing was extremely fair and there was they left the home as clean as before they came.  I was extremely comfortable letting them work in my home unattended.  If you are the type of person that likes meticulous work, with no cutting corners or shortcuts- call CJ Plumbing and Heating without hesitation.  They insist on doing things the right way, and use high quality materials.
