Julio came out to save us on a Saturday afternoon when nobody else could send us help. It was a minor leak and he handled it quickly and got us able to use the sinks again before dinner.
On a different day, he came out to replace the old water valve from the street to our home, which was leaking after 35 years of use. He replaced the leaking valve and helped us by putting in a pressure regulator to handle the overpressure which caused the leak to start.
We're thankful for Julio and his team and intend to use them again when we need a plumber!

These guys were awesome! Kept me updated arrival time. Answered all my questions and explained basically every step they were taking and why. As someone who has absolutely no knowledge pluming, I recommend this company 100%
OH! And their prices are amazing! They are not here to rip you off, they are here to help.

Danny is great. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. We first hired Danny to hang new IKEA cabinets as well as a microwave for our new kitchen renovation, but also had lots of other jobs to get the house lease ready. He wound up having to fix a lot of problems that we had from previous workers, and he did a great job making everything perfect. Besides the basic handy work, Danny has basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing, but was realistic about what he didn't know. Whenever there was something to do outside of his purview, he could recommend colleagues who were experts, such as a great electrician we used. Danny is very meticulous about details, and will make things perfect, and suggest things to do as if he were working his own house. I had limited time and budget, so couldn't address every issue we had for our renovation, and couldn't afford to make everything perfect, so Danny was also great with listening to my priorities and completing those things on time, and within budget.

Four years ago I left a review about Dan's Plumbing (MIKE). He installed a faucet. A month ago he immediately came over when I had a flood emergency, a pipe burst, in my garage. He fixed the problem and also installed a new shut off valve, which was broken. Today he fixed a very clogged drain in my kitchen sink. A major snake job was needed, in two separate places. A big and tiresome job. No complaints, neat, polite, orderly, etc. What more do you want. Call Mike when you need a GOOD plumber and a good guy. I'm in El Sereno.

Had leaky faucets in half of the house. Sent a Yelp request for plumber. Got immediate response from Vahan Plumbing. Showed up at my house in less than 2 hours. Identified issue, bought the parts needed (pressure valve), finished the repair in just a few minutes. All the leaks stopped.
Reliable plumbers and fast service.

Ninja Plumbers to the rescue AGAIN! We had another issue with our pipes backing up and this time they traced it to the city connection in the street. They were able to dig up our yard, access the pipe under our retaining wall, reline the old pipe and not damage any of our wall, rose bushes or grass in the process. All in 1.5 days from beginning to end! Mor, the owner, is on my speed dial now, since our house has been having so many issues, & he always sends someone out immediately and then personally follows up. He always goes above and beyond and has even helped provide all of his receipts to deal with our insurance adjustor. He's fantastic and all of his crew is great no matter how big or small the job. Don't hesitate to call them!! They can rescue your house ,too!

Leaving this review for Michael and his representation of Mr. Rooter Plumbing of South San Gabriel.
I performed a DIY project where I switched my galvanized steel water lines to PEX-B piping for one of my bathrooms that I was in the process of remodeling.
Once the PEX-B was installed, I turned on the main water line and tested my fixtures for running water. My primary bathroom no longer had running water in the sink faucet and the shower head.
I called several plumbers/plumbing companies explaining what I did and what I'm dealing with and Mr. Rooter offered to provide an inspection.
Michael arrived and I explained to him the problem that I was dealing with.
First and foremost, Michael is knowledgeable, experienced and most of all kind and incredibly helpful.
He informed me that Monterey Park typically has hard water which plays a large factor on the life/performance of galvanized steel pipes. Due to how these pipes corrode, during my DIY process, he explained that I most likely loosened a lot of sediment and corrosion that had built up in the pipe, similar to that of a clogged artery. All the loose sediment ended up rushing into my bathroom faucet and shower head thus clogging them up and rendering them useless.
Michael explained that I should have left one of the pipes uncapped before turning on the main water valve. Doing this would have flushed the sediment out of that open pipe and any other rubbish that may be in the pipes.
Once flushed out and only clear water is coming through, turn off the main water line, cap the open pipe, and turn back on the water line.
Michael aided by taking off the entire shower head attachment from the shower arm and turned on the shower. Sure enough, orange sediment and some blackish build up blasted out and the shower once again has running water.
I proceeded to replace the sink faucet myself and bought a new shower head .
Both the sink faucet and the shower works perfectly fine and I have Michael at Mr. Rooters South San Gabriel to thank for that.

Gabriel helped us out of a tight spot when we needed it. After 9pm and we had a plumbing problem we really couldn't just leave till morning. He came out, handled the issue, was conscientious about cleaning up and making sure everything was in order before he left. He also let me know before he came what the charge would be, which I appreciated. Thanks, Gabriel.

PLUMBER RECOMMENDATION I recently had my water heater replaced by Jose of J.R. Rooter & Plumbing (818) 233-2255. I called them the afternoon that I discovered my heater had failed. We agreed on a price and set up an appointment for the next morning. Jose and his helper arrived early with everything needed. You really find out how good a business is when things go wrong. In my case, the first brand new, never unboxed water heater that Jose installed turned out to be defective. Jose had to drain and remove that heater and take it back to his supplier for exchange. Then he had to drive back with the new one and redo the installation. Fortunately, the second one worked perfectly. The whole job was far from easy. My laundry room is tiny and my washing machine had to be disconnected and moved out of the way. This was a problem too as the 30 year old hot/cold shut-off valves were bad, so the water for the whole house had to be turned off before the washer could be disconnected and moved out of the way. Jose fought through all these problems with a great attitude and honored his price even though the job wound up taking all day. I highly recommend J.R. Rooter & Plumbing.

These guys were fantastic! Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Job was completed as scheduled, even though it began to rain. No bait-and-switch or hidden fees. Very upfront and friendly. Great communication. I will definitely call them again in the future if we need plumbing work done!

Excellent experience! Professional, punctual, and flexible. Over memorial day weekend, our kitchen sink backed-up. We have had good experiences with Power in the past, but I was still surprised they were able to show up within 1 hour of notice and begin a very difficult job to unclog our vertical drain line in our condo building. Jack was our service member on call and was honest and thoughtful in assessing the issue. We have a baby and a dog and he was respectful of all the dynamics in the house while trying to solve the clog with the least amount of disruption.
After a couple hours of hard work and persistence, Jack unclogged our drain line and did a nice job cleaning up before he left. Cost was very reasonable for the time committed. I highly recommend Jack and Power Plumbing for urgent service calls and stubborn clogs.

A rainy day and both of our sump pumps failed. The back of our HOA complex was a foot deep in water, and counting. The reservoir was full and the weight on the retaining wall isn't good, let alone the soon to be spilling over into the neighbors yard.
We have a couple 4 pumps. They move a lot of water a long ways. As soon as Westside rolled up, they went into crisis management. They started pumping the water out. They went away for an hour, leaving the pump clearing our property.
We had another plumbing company come, for a second bid. He said it's electrical and said we'd have to replace the box and possibly the pumps. Uh..... he did not look at anything.
Westside returned and pulled the grates off the reservoir. They said first thing is that there is a significant amount of leaves, sludge, and debris in there. They cleaned the vaults and floats. Then, they installed a screen to catch the leaves.
Poof. The whole system works great now. One day and a couple of great guys helping us out. They cost more than we thought it would be. AND, I'll use them again. I trust them and they really did a good job.

I was initially going to post a negative review about an overcharge here. The person who serviced my toilet was quick, quiet, and polite. However I was charged more than I expected. Within a few short moments, I got a call from the company owner, Fred, who offered a full refund for the mistake.
I will definitely be calling this company again in the future for my plumbing issues.

I used the request a quote on Yelp for a shower cartridge valve replacement. Jacob was the 1st of 3 other plumbers to respond on the Yelp request feature. Jacob is not the cheapest pro plumber, but Jacob did solve our no hot water problem the quickest way possible!
