We used IMS to add decorative iron gates to the front courtyard of new home. We got a couple of quotes, but IMS was more competitive.  They were completed and installed just as estimated. The finished product is beautiful!  The gates really add elegance and character to the front of our home. Alex was super nice and very professional. We are very impressed with the quality of the gates and their installation. Highly recommend.

Mario is great. He was out right away and we received a professional shortly after. Communication was great throughout. They were always on time. Mario works as hard or harder than his employees. They demoed part of my wall to expand my gate and rebuild a pillar. We went with all metal due to the lack of composite slats. It was about the same price and it looks great. It will be less maintenance in the future.
Mario even called a week later to make sure I was satisfied.

Had an old plaster pool that was in need of some TLC reached out to multiple companies to figure out  timelines and costs. Pool Remodeling Brothers came through, they were competitively priced and there timeline from start to finish was just under 2 weeks. The final product looks amazing, can't wait to enjoy it this summer! Will definitely be calling when I'm ready to redo the pool deck.

After 8 years, our pool decking looked old and worn, and was in need of some concrete repair. Dave came out and explained what was needed and the process his team would use. They showed up on time and completed the job when they said they would, and cleaned up after they were done. The pool decking looks new again! I highly recommend NLKD!

Checked the roof and it looks good.   The seams around the vents look very watertight.  The shingles looks like it's held down tight.  They also do wood work.  They removed my old, unused swamp cooler and put in an additional wind turbine.  They're registered with the state of AZ.  They're certified GAF shingles installers if you decide to get GAF shingles.  They also finished within 2 days.

Aztec Decks did not come back and finish the work as promised.

They do great work but do not come back to finish the forgotten odds and ends.

The walkway from my gate to the patio looks wonderful but it is crooked. Rather than make Ray and his crew take it up and redo it; we agreed that he would come back and take up my old walk (and replace with same stones) from the gate out to the driveway.  It has been almost a year and I still have a crooked walkway and no replaced walkway from the gate to the driveway.

Joel Brust deserves this Yelp review simply due to his excellent work, transparency and punctuality. He walked me through the costs involved during the quote process here at our home, which were perfectly reasonable. Within a week he was here on the dot of the time scheduled. He spent the next 3 days building this absolutely stunning Redwood Privacy Fence that is floating above our short cinderblock wall. The engineering in his design, being that our wall (as shown in the pics) is tiered-down to different heights with multiple steps-down to each tier--was highly impressive. Joel delivers extraordinary custom work and reliability to say the least. Not your everyday carpenter. You won't find a better Fencing & Gates Contractor in San Diego.

Adam was great! He did a really great job on our deck which ended up being a lot more work than anticipated and the weather was uncooperative! He was professional, communicative, and did a good job for a reasonable price.

I had a completely positive experience with Jonas cool deck.  They came out to provide an estimate the same day that I called.  I found their cost estimate to be thorough and reasonable and they were able to start the work the very next morning!  They arrived when they said they would and took great care to mask off and protect my pool and surrounding landscaping.  I was having some relatively large areas repaired and they thoroughly prepped the surface, matched the color and the texture.  The deck looks brand new again!  They did a great job of the cleanup and finished exactly when they said they would.  I have zero complaints amd I highly recommend their service.

Simply, the best I've worked with. Brings great attitude and energy, he also considers you as a client foremost.  I couldn't get anyone to work on my exterior door without having to buy a whole new door, because other guys don't have the skill or the willingness to do the actual carpentry work.  Jason is fantastic, it was energizing to me to see a master craftsman at work, I can't rate him highly enough.

Got our deck and patio redone a few months ago. The whole process went fairly smoothly. I was interested in their Koolstone look. The owner came out for the estimate and answered all questions. Once I said yes to the estimate, we agreed on a start date. The crew finished in the estimated time.

A few points:

-Deck looks great. They applied their surface material in a flagstone style. Very happy with the color palette and how slip resistant the surface is. Is it as cool as our original authentic Keystone Kool Deck coating? No. But it is cooler than other surfaces I've encountered in the valley.

-We have a pool net with hooks that fasten into metal eyelets drilled into our pool deck surface. The crew was able to preserve the eyelets so we can continue using our safety net, no problem.

-The owner told us that we'd see a white powder appear soon after installation, that it was part of the curing process and would eventually wash away. I was slightly alarmed to see the once pristine finish spotted with the powder, but he was right. A few months later, and the powder spots are nearly all gone.

-Cash or check only. (50% down at start. 25% after initial prep work. 25% when complete).

Very happy with the outcome. We now look forward to spending time at the pool instead of cringing while looking at an ugly, chipped surface.

Matt and his team did a great job resurfacing our fiberglass pool in just a few days. Matt was straightforward with the price, did what he promised, was done on time, and cleaned up nicely. I would recommend Matt's Magic Pools to anyone who needs their pool resurfaced. We'll done fellas.

The entire experience with FIRST IMPRESSION Ironwork has been an impression I hope to forget! EVERY SINGLE dept: customer service, install & service team, sale team, the front desk/operator are non-responsive (multiple phone calls, multiple emails - at ANY time of the day) - does ANYONE answer the phone???? And, the tone of the people who do call back is EXTREMELYY condescending​, the lack of follow-up, attention-to-detail, and workmanship - is seriously some of the worst I've encountered. EVERY group passes the buck....NO ONE takes ownership of the issue and resolves it to the customer's satisfaction​. I've asked for the name of the President/CEO/Owner multiple times - was told, he retired and Customer Care (should be renamed to Customer - DONT Care) is in charge?? WHAT? Then I was told the info is on their web-site, which it is NOT. Finally today, someone tells me it's available​ on BBB - but, yet another example of NO ONE taking ownership to solve a question, issue, concerns. Why can't they just say the name of the CEO: Mark Baraghimian??? We purchased a security door, which had multiple chips, scratched, mis-matched paint, the door wouldnt stay open, the screen wouldnt stay open and the installer put the wrong door face panel, so, he drilled multiple holes in the door - which they tried to rubber fill....after 3 visits, they fixed the holes and most of the chips/paint - but not all.....it's been over 5 weeks (we closed on April 13 and it's now May 24th) and it's still not fixed - still waiting for Customer DONT Care to call and get it fixed. And, yesterday, we had a brand new gate installed...which looked like the installer drug the gate on the ground before installing it. When I called and sent pictures, I was told....the paint is within standards for faux painting - WHAT?? They MISSED spots....it looks HORRIBLE - not even sure how they could stand behind/put their name on the product that was delivered/installed yesterday. Keep in mind, we've now spent almost 10k on 2 doors that are our first impression to our new house and they are the LAST thing I'd want anyone to see. If I could give a MINUS stars, I would. I'm suppose to receive a call in 1 hour, let's see if that happens.   UPDATE:  They did call as promised, and they did send their best detailer/finisher to work on the gate - Tommy did a great job.....however, Jennifer (from Customer DONT Care) did a follow-up call with my husband this morning and started arguing​ with him about the standards of faux​ finishing​.....and ended by saying:  well then, I guess I'm wrong and your right.......beware - this is First Impressions CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Geremy installed floating wood shelves in the kitchen and did a good job. They're sturdy and look good, but could have been finished better in the end. Putty was left to dry and I had to have my handyman sand it all down as well as add more where there were some noticeable gaps at joints. I didn't ask Geremy come back to finish because it wasn't the end of the world to have to have someone else finish, it just would have been nice if he had completed the job himself. There was also an incident where he accidentally leaned against the stove knobs, turned on the burner and melted plastic on my brand new stove top that had never been used. It wasn't able to be cleaned up complete which is a bummer, but the worst part is he didn't tell me about it- I had to hear from my handman.

I hired him for a second job- a pergola over my back patio. After he rescheduled a couple of times and then didn't show up another one or two times, he finally came, but came so late in the day that he ran out of time and couldn't install my string lights. I went ahead and paid him the full amount for the job but I've never been able to get him to come back to finish the lights that he said he'd be back to hang the following day. After a lot of excuses, several texts and a phone call and continuing to tell me he'd come back to hang them, he still hasn't finished the job. I've been waiting since May 20th and now he isn't responding to my messages at all.

It's a shame because his work is good, but reliability and communication are terrible.

We LOVE our security door!  Especially in these times, it gives us an extra layer of security.  Not to mention, it's much easier to answer the door with 3 dogs who now can't immediately run outside.  Highly recommend - the service was professional throughout and we got exactly what we wanted!

My husband and I had a great experience with our sales rep, but after that things went downhill. There were quite a few issues with the door and we were incredibly frustrated. We went back to one of the stores and the sales rep was very supportive and understanding and directed us to the director of Customer Service, Shannon Peterson. Even though we showed up to her office unannounced, she immediately saw how upset we were and met with us right away. We told her our list of issues with the door and she allowed us to go through each and every item of concern, never disputing anything. In fact, she validated our concerns and told us that the quality of the door that was installed was not the standard for their company. She was clear and adamant that she would make things right for us. She undeniably has done so. It has been a long process, but every step of the way Shannon has personally seen things through, including personally coming out to our house to look at the door and walk through each issue. She continued to follow up every step of the way to make sure we were satisfied and happy with our new door. She also refunded us some money for all our stress and aggravation. We are now very happy with the door and I must say, Shannon has definitely made sure that all concerns and issues at the onset were taken care of until the very last item was seen through. I know that if we had any further concerns that we could contact Shannon and she would take care of them. She was great, listened to us, validated us, and truly made things right. So, even though our initial experience with the door and customer service was awful and it took quite some time to resolve matters, Shannon turned the whole experience around for us. Our door is gorgeous and in the end, the quality of the door is strong, sturdy, and elegant. Thank you, Shannon, for making things right!
