We had been introduced to Ben at All Star Stair Railing through our contractor. We were in the middle of a big renovation and decided we could not live with the ugly pony walls that we had through out the house. Ben texted me right away. Came out to measure the following day. Sent his quote out hours later. Worked out our design and adjustment and we were off and running. He was able to start earlier than projected. They take real pride in craftsmanship and what a pleasure to work with.

Alex was great from the start with communication through yelp and text.  The door to our courtyard was rusted and had broken a hinge.  His team fixed the door, replaced the hinge, and also gave it new life with a fresh coat.  The timing was to be expected with a fix and we are happy with the finished project.  We would recommend IMS to anyone looking for a gate or repair.

Had an old plaster pool that was in need of some TLC reached out to multiple companies to figure out  timelines and costs. Pool Remodeling Brothers came through, they were competitively priced and there timeline from start to finish was just under 2 weeks. The final product looks amazing, can't wait to enjoy it this summer! Will definitely be calling when I'm ready to redo the pool deck.

Excellent work from this company. We had our concrete patio covered with new look kool deck. It was a really professional job and looks exceptional.

Checked the roof and it looks good.   The seams around the vents look very watertight.  The shingles looks like it's held down tight.  They also do wood work.  They removed my old, unused swamp cooler and put in an additional wind turbine.  They're registered with the state of AZ.  They're certified GAF shingles installers if you decide to get GAF shingles.  They also finished within 2 days.

Ray and his team did a great job at our house.  Ray, from Aztec Decks was recommended to us from our pool repair company and they worked hand in hand to bring our 1970's pool back to life.  His estimates were very reasonable and his attention to detail even better.  We had a chip in the concrete, without asking any questions (could've been there before) he just repaired it, moved our existing pool equipment and took the initiative to paint the plastic piping to protect from UV rays and labeled each pipe to its function.  Communicated with me throughout the process what his schedule was and when he would be able to complete tasks.  He was very patient, thoroughly explaining how he was going to lay out the work and would troubleshoot little challenges that seemingly always pop up.  His crew was polite and respectful of our property. Ask to see his portfolio of previous jobs, he has done some beautiful work on high end homes.  I would highly recommend their work to my closest friends.

Joel Brust deserves this Yelp review simply due to his excellent work, transparency and punctuality. He walked me through the costs involved during the quote process here at our home, which were perfectly reasonable. Within a week he was here on the dot of the time scheduled. He spent the next 3 days building this absolutely stunning Redwood Privacy Fence that is floating above our short cinderblock wall. The engineering in his design, being that our wall (as shown in the pics) is tiered-down to different heights with multiple steps-down to each tier--was highly impressive. Joel delivers extraordinary custom work and reliability to say the least. Not your everyday carpenter. You won't find a better Fencing & Gates Contractor in San Diego.

Adam was great! He did a really great job on our deck which ended up being a lot more work than anticipated and the weather was uncooperative! He was professional, communicative, and did a good job for a reasonable price.

I had a completely positive experience with Jonas cool deck.  They came out to provide an estimate the same day that I called.  I found their cost estimate to be thorough and reasonable and they were able to start the work the very next morning!  They arrived when they said they would and took great care to mask off and protect my pool and surrounding landscaping.  I was having some relatively large areas repaired and they thoroughly prepped the surface, matched the color and the texture.  The deck looks brand new again!  They did a great job of the cleanup and finished exactly when they said they would.  I have zero complaints amd I highly recommend their service.

Simply, the best I've worked with. Brings great attitude and energy, he also considers you as a client foremost.  I couldn't get anyone to work on my exterior door without having to buy a whole new door, because other guys don't have the skill or the willingness to do the actual carpentry work.  Jason is fantastic, it was energizing to me to see a master craftsman at work, I can't rate him highly enough.

My pool's Kool deck was in dire need of repair or replacement.  I decided to go with                    
Deck Services because of their various A ratings.   And, the fact that they have been                    
in business for 40+ years (but, now Angie's List it shows 60+ years).  If they've been in                    
business that long they must be doing something right.  The owner was punctual                    
& professional.  His workers were nice however, we never knew when they were going                    
to show up, how long they'd be gone for lunch or what time they left.  I asked them to tell                    
us since we had 2 dogs locked in the house while they were working.  The finished product                    
looked pretty good, from what I could see, since it was too cold to get in the pool.  I didn't like                    
it at the separation between the pool & the in-ground spa.  The owner sent them out,                    
weeks later, to fix the area.  By the end of the swim season I started seeing some hairline                    
cracks, etc.  I called the owner again but, he had just lost a loved one.  So, I gave him several                    
months before asking him to send them back out.  They did eventually come out & fixed the areas.                      
Once swimming season started again I started seeing all kinds of hair line cracks, a rather large                    
crack by the steps & some sort of gouge right by the top step.  Again, adequate seems to be the                    
new norm.

Don't let the contractor/owner do any of the work. Tell him to let the pros do the job.

Best to only give final payment after EVERYTHING is perfect with your pool/patio.

So where do I begin?  Upon first request for a quote to final install and tweaks, every step of the way was a pleasant experience.  I know! Not something you find often these days.  Office staff were efficient in setting up appointments.  Gentlemen that came out to give a quote and measure for our door and gate was helpful and informative.  Tons of styles,colors, etc and he helped us through the process to our final selections.  Delivery/install dates were accurate, which was much appreciated.  Elon and his helper were extremely professional and provided quality installation service.  At this point we thought we were done.  Of course we were extremely happy with the product.  We've had security doors in other houses in the past, but the supreme quality of 1st Impressions' door and gate was the best we've ever had!  The final step was the final inspection which is a sign of a quality company.  Kyle stopped by to take a look at the door and gate to make sure it was installed correctly and to answer any questions we might have.  I told him our design on the gate left a gap just large enough for our small dog to escape.  I had a iron piece that I was using for now, propping it up against the gate whenever the dog was out in the courtyard.  It matched the gate perfectly.  Kyle offered to retrofit the iron piece to fit the gate.  A bit of cutting and two screws and it was a perfect solution.  He did this right on the spot.  Wow!  That is truly beyond the normal expected customer service!  Kyle, Elon, and all the support staff, THANK YOU!  We love our new door and gate!

I contacted Geremey due to an aging roof that was in desperate need of repair. I contacted 3 different companies, all who wanted me to wait for a few weeks just for them to come out. With the rain we've had, I couldn't wait that long. Geremey was very responsive and understood my needs. He came out that afternoon and had the job done quicker than I anticipated. I was impressed with their customer service from the first phone call to last in person inspection. Everyone is professional. I never felt like I was just another sale. I felt like my needs and wants were was important to everyone. I love the look and quality of my door. It adds to the home.

From start to finish, First Impression Ironworks was wonderful.  They have great customer service and that's important for us when choosing a company.  We love our new security door and couldn't be happier how it turned out.
