Lev was awesome!  Very timely and responsive and we love the new gate.

We had our door installed about 6 months ago and when the weather stripping started to come loose First Impression did not hesitate to come over and make the repair. They really stand by their work. I really appreciate a company that values their clients and make repairs without any hassles. I recommend this company hands down.

I contacted Abrahams to provide a quote to replace an existing block wall fence at my community. It's a major project (@$90-100,000). While he offered a fast response to answer the RFP, what he relied with was only 1 of the 3 options we requested, and the option he did provide was at the wrong linear footage, so incorrect. He was contacted to update the proposal, and he promised to do so, but it was never done. Even though I contacted him several times

Found these guys on Yelp and called due to their reviews. They have been so wonderful to work with. From the first time I contacted them, they provided excellent service. Their pricing structure is easy to understand and the ordering process was a breeze (all done via email). Everything they told me they would do got done exactly when they said it would. Everyone was professional throughout the process and my gates are beautiful. Two times I have asked them for adjustments and they sent someone out within a day. We used IMS to add decorative iron gates to the front courtyard of new home. We got a couple of quotes, but IMS was more competitive.  They were completed and installed just as estimated. The finished product is beautiful!  The gates really add elegance and character to the front of our home. Alex was super nice and very professional. We are very impressed with the quality of the gates and their installation. Highly recommend.

We needed to remove a section of our block wall and install an RV gate for a new trailer.

Sebastian came out and gave us a quote.

Not only was the price one of the most reasonable of all we received, the photos he showed of prior jobs impressed us. stainless steel bolts and powder coating the gates were suggested upgrades at a minor cost increase.

His mason (paid separately) actually set the 3 posts in concrete, where other quotes were 2 and affixed to the existing columns. This was extremely important to us, as the other companies wouldn't guarantee against sag and stated in contract sag correction would be an additional fee!

He included upgrades as standard some things other companies offered as additional cost options, or not at all. Like using 3 posts, privacy panels (not sure what he called the panels), and using 4 straps to secure the slats to instead of three.

He was able to get the work done and gate installed many weeks earlier than the other quotes too.
The 12 ft gate looks fantastic, and I know we made the right choice in selecting Gates the Right Way for our project.

Minor hiccups: powder coating delayed by one day as the coater was only doing white the scheduled day. Sebastian's quote could have been a lot more detailed, but in our case he remembered everything we talked about and it was not an issue in the end.

Over all, I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to hire them again.

Juan is amazing! The craftsmanship of the door is such an incredible quality. He did excellent with what we wanted in the design. He was very thorough and friendly. Such excellent customer service and very reasonably priced.

Everything from the design, fabrication, to the installation was flawless and easy. I would highly recommend Juan and JM Custom Iron Work.

Paul replaced an old wooden fence along with designing an RV gate and privacy section. He also repurposed an existing gate and removed excess chain link fencing, increasing my yard access. This was done in June and the fencing is rusting naturally and beautifully. The previous wood fence wouldn't have withstood this year's monsoons. We didn't flinch at all with the new one!  My yard is a work-in-progress and I will definitely ask for Paul's assistance throughout. Gracias Paul!

Alex arrived and quickly repaired my gate - remounting it to the block wall. The gate opens and closes smooth as butter now (none of that nonsense of lifting the gate to line it up properly). I look forward to working with them in the future to replace or modify the current gate (adding a handle and lock). Araceli was great to communicate with for the gate repair.

The wrought iron fence that we had installed was done well. However, the painting of it was not. I am doing my 2nd major touch-up in less than 2 years since it was installed in May of 2018. They also came back once to touch it up after 10 months of installation, which makes 3 times. However, there is only a one year guarantee. I am going to have to have the fence completely repainted in the near future and it is not a small fence. Buyer beware.

Appreciate the communication of Geoff , the ease of scheduling and timelessness of the work performed. The gate looks great and accomplished what i was seeking which was a complete slat replacement with colored composite wood to ensure good looks through rain or shine.   Thank you Geoff and his partners for doing a great job.

Mike came by to consult with us on the courtyard gate we were thinking to have put it. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He provided us with a reasonable quote in a timely manner. He set the right expectation. Our gate was installed as scheduled and we are very happy with the product!

I spent more time than I would've liked researching pool fence installers. Michael was the best option and I'm so glad I went with him. He was the clear choice with service, quality and affordability. He also has the most experience in the Valley. I highly recommend him!

I wish I could say I had the same experience as the other commenters but I did not

I received a quote from John for some door handle swaps only. Unfortunately, the bill reflected the cost was per door swap and not for all 4 even though I specifically asked this question. I spoke to Gina who made excuses but did not resolve my issues.  I think the company should back the quote that was given or at least make a compromise and agree to disagree but that did not happen

The result was $300 is cost for no supplies and 20 minutes of work. Quote was for $75, much more reasonable.

Also paid $340 for sliding latches.

I hope you have a better experience. I also recommend a quote in writing it would have made the transaction more clear.

Working with Hernandez Ironworks was AMAZING! I had worried about finding a professional gate company to make custom gates to fit my vision, style, and security needs and Hernandez truly delivered. I texted their office frequently to discuss materials, colors, and sizing to make sure they offered exactly what we were looking for in our backyard. They were so helpful in finding the right solution for our gates.

We ended up getting 3 custom steel gates with them to pass our city pool inspection. They turned out beautiful and they are all amazing quality, knowing they will last forever and provide security and aesthetic appeal in our backyard. They also followed up with me a month later to grease our springs and repaint any areas that had been scuffed during our yard construction. Like most home owners I had a vison of what I wanted done at my home but did not know how or where to begin. It can be intimidating reaching out to a company you have never worked with but I decided to reach out to Gabe and am very thankful I did.

Through the entire project my thoughts were at ease knowing that Gabe was on job and that's a piece of mind money cannot buy.  While we are on the subject of money I felt Gabe was honest with the cost of materials and did his best to get the maximum yield out of material to help stretch my dollar further. Gabe's labor cost was fair in relation to the type of work he performed. (I later learned he was well below the average cost of his competitors.) When it came time to compensate Gabe for his work I had no reservations on the price as I felt it was deserved based on the wonderful outcome.

Each time I pull in my driveway and see Gabe's work it brings a smile to my face. I have had countless compliments on my projects originality and coolness and feel that others should give Gabe an opportunity for their projects, you would be in good hands.
