Our gate became misaligned over the years.  And the integral combination lock usually took about 10 attempts before it would open.  Lev was able to realign the very-solid gate frame so that it would close all the way again. And he suggested a new way to lock the gate with a deadbolt and easily-replaceable lock should the new one eventually go bad due to weather exposure.  He was even able to come out the next day to complete the repair. He gave me two alternatives on pricing, depending how I wanted him to do the repair which I thought was very fair. This is an update to my previous review.  Someone from first impressions finally came out to address the quality issues with my security door.  The technician touched up the paint to my satisfaction, but did nothing to address the poor quality welding.   Apparently irregular, poor quality welds are a hallmark of first impressions custom made doors.  If you want uniform, aesthetically pleasing welds you need to buy a cheaper mass produced door from one of the big box home improvement retailers.  Also, after the technician was finished he just left without telling me what he did or if I was satisfied.  I thought he went to get some supplies, but he just took off.  Strange way to ensure customer satisfaction.

Scheduled an appointment, I let them pick the  day and time for appointment. Not only did they not show, they never called.

Bob is the best! He comes highly recommended here on Yelp, and now I know why. Professional, quality work that was done in 1/2 a day! Honest and fair pricing! I highly recommend Ace Fence Co.

After talking on the phone to the office I had an idea of the style of gate I wanted and when Shawn came to measure, he also gave me some suggestions.
They have an enormous choice of styles so that I could find the right one for our needs.
I really enjoyed Shawn's professionalism and friendly demeanor. He was on time and was able to quote me a reasonable price right away. The time frame was fair and today the crew installed the beautiful gate which has a very solid lock and looks fantastic on the property.

Did a great job repairing my gate.  Quick response and they were out the next day.  Outstanding experience......that is how it should be done.

Our pool company's demolition subcontractor damaged our existing side yard gate. So I had to get it replaced because one panel is literally pulling the stucco off the side wall of my house! I contacted several businesses and Sebastian (Gates The Right Way) came off as efficient, honest, and knowledgeable. He came out, did the measurements and gave us a bid. In a little over a month, we have a brand new gate installed the right way (with a new metal post in concrete footing instead of attaching it to the side wall with toggles). The gate looks great and we are already getting compliments from our neighbors.

Paul is the man. After literally spending 4-5 months trying to find someone to build custom cabinet frames for the inside of my VW Bus, and having professional after professional waste my time and jerk me around for weeks on end, I called Paul. I had little hope after all my past attempts with these professionals. I sent him the measurements and was shocked to find he was more than willing to come to me and take his own measurements to make sure. I was pleasantly surprised to see his hippie/Buddhist appearance and demeanor, because to me, it meant decent morals. The work was done VERY timely and finished result was excellent at a MORE than fair price. He came over and installed them and they are rock solid and actually noticeably stiffined the chassis of my tin can on wheels, 73 VW Bus. I'm truly happy to know I have someone like Paul to go to the next time. Sadly its rare to find professionals like Paul, I confidently recommend him to anyone I know needing ANYTHING to do with metal.

I started out just wanting a quote, but Norma was so welcoming and easy to deal with was a no brainer to hire this company. It did take about a month to get them scheduled, but well worth the wait. Very happy with them, they showed up on the dot of 10 am, took just a few hours, they did  not bother me with needless questions, just got to the job. They were smiling and a happy bunch. Also very safe with the masks.

They did a beautiful front porch railing fabrication and installation between two arches.

I can't say enough good things about Geoff and the rest of his crew. Everyone is very personable and super easy to get along with. Even our pups loved to greet them when they were working on our house.

We purchased a home that had very old wooden gates which were falling apart. Wood was chipping and bolts were coming loose. Geoff gave us a great estimate with no pressure to purchase.

After ordering our gates, unfortunately there were a couple of hiccups with the sizes, but Geoff was immediately on it and handled the situation. A couple of days later, he returned with his crew and finished the job. He made our home a priority and was very professional throughout the whole ordeal. Couldn't be happier with the result!

Had an old side yard gate that wouldn't open or close properly anymore, had the owner Ron come and take a look and we decided the best course of action was to take out the equally broken block wall and turn it into an RV gate. Everything was measured and custom built for the space, and 48 hours later I had a brand new gate perfectly installed. Excellent craftsmanship and Ron was very professional.  My wife loves that we can now use our gate again! I would highly recommend Ron and Designer Gates for any and all of your gate needs.

Truly WOW!  What a beautiful door.  I was originally hesitant about spending the extra money versus a cheap Home Depot solution but I'm so glad I invested in a quality door.  My door at my old house allowed bugs to crawl underneath but this door is sealed bug tight even at the bottom.  Words can't do it justice you need to give these guys a call from the initial sales call with Mike to the install everything was superb!

Very pleased with my experience. I usually dread getting an estimate for anything because I don't like to deal with salespeople.  Michael, the owner, is a good person, and he actually cares, that was evident almost immediately.  The quote he gave me was fair. On the day of the install he even offered to change the configuration slightly to where is was more aesthetically pleasing, and he didn't charge me more even though it cost him more. I have zero doubt that if I have any issues he will stand by his product and his work. He loves what he does and it shows.

Great company!! I had them come out and alarm my sliding glass doors for our pool. They got the job done fast and the technician was friendly.  Gina was awesome to work with setting up the appointment and helping decided what product would be the right choice.

Sounds like they build great gates and was excited to work the this company but I have waited a month just to get someone to come out for measurement!  I called to check in on a status 2 weeks ago and Carol reached out saying I was still on the wait list and could not schedule and appointment for me. It has now been a month and I have decided to go with another company as I can't wait over 4 weeks just for a measurement and price!
