If you are looking to replace your gate, seriously do not look any further.  Jim is great! He did an amazing job on my gate. Looks beautiful and better than what I expected.  His work is seriously top notch and his prices beat any other company I looked into. He responds quickly,  gets the work done quickly,  and leaves the area clean and better than his it was before.  So happy I found him ( by reading other reviews) and had him replace my gate. Hes wonderful!

I purchased a gate from them a few years ago, so I was happy to go back to them for a second gate.  The design/sales person showed up in the window of time given, took pictures and measurements.  We discussed what I was looking for and that I wanted to match the other gate as closely as possible.  She then told me I would hear back from her in 2 or 3 days.

Well, after 2 weeks of hearing nothing I received an email with the soft quote.  She informed me they had a few people out with Covid and that was why it took so long.  Not really an apology for being forgotten about, just an excuse.

I then contacted customer support and that person refused to give me the contact information for someone to talk to about my experience.  It was like being on a Merry Go Round.  Round and round we went and no answer was forthcoming to my very simple question of, whom can I speak to about my poor experience with your company?

Very sad, but I will never do business with them and like all upset customer will tell EVERYONE that I know about my experience.

It took a little longer to complete than I had been told but the fence is perfect and the installers were friendly and proficient.

We have a pool and a young (toddler) grandson. We knew we wanted to put a fence around it for his protection and safety. We got bids from a few people, but we were really impressed with Bob and his bid. First, he agreed to come on a Saturday, so my husband could be here.  My husband has over an hour commute every day so meeting Monday through Friday can be impossible and finding people willing to accommodate a weekend time can be tough at times. Bob listened to what hubby wanted with the fence and didn't try to convince him to do something else (as another company had wanted him to do). The fence around the pool is absolutely gorgeous. Bob worked with his workers to get the job done. He didn't farm it out, but was here from basically start to finish. We also had him put in two side gates. That work also was very good and looked very professional, etc. We caught him in a time that he was very busy with a lot of other projects but he kept us informed of how long the wait would be and was within days of what he said the wait would be. He didn't demand a deposit up front but got paid at the end of the work. We don't have any more gates or fences to put up, but it we did, we would definitely use Bob and Ace Fence Company. He is worth the wait. You won't be disappointed.

While they may do good work this business does not feel it is necessary to keep scheduled appointments or to call to cancel or reschedule. This company obviously does not want or need your business so you may as well look elsewhere.

When I posted this I emailed Sunset Gates and told them of my disappointment in them not keeping their appointment or even calling. I had a response almost instantly from them in the form of a phone call explaining that their had been a scheduling mix up. What they did next (no need to go into details) then showed me that they made an honest mistake. I decided to give them another chance and was glad that I did. The finished gate and the widening of the wall to accompany the wider gate turned out better than I had expected it too and on top of everything else they finished it a week ahead of schedule.

Everyone makes an honest mistake from time to time but when these guys do it they more than make up for it. With customer service like this, and the top quality product they produce, Sunset Gates is the only place to look too for all of your gate needs.

I have had this company complete several metal structures for me and I have yet to be disappointed. I affectionately call Alex the owner Magneto, he just can do things with metal that most humans can't. His top notch work is accompanied with great service and excellent communication and prices that will fit anyone's budget. I am very happy to have met Alex and very much appreciate his excellent craftsmanship. Five stars easy.

Sebastian does great work!  From the very beginning he did what he said he was going to do.  That's integrity.  The gate he created for my home was phenomenal and he got the job done quick.  Best feature is good quality work at a great price.  I hope you will consider Gates the Right Way and Sebastian for your gate repairs and replacement.

They saved us hundreds of dollars repairing our gate so we didn't have to replace it. They set up our appointment quickly. Alex was efficient and reasonably priced. I am amazed at the quality of their work and prompt completion of the project. I had two ugly and worn out RV gates with a few broken slats and they were very weather worn from the sun. What a beautiful job they did. They repainted the ironwork, added new bolts and I had redwood slats put in. I am so satisfied with the appearance of the RV gate now. The RV Gate looks new. Similar to Ed H. review... I called to inquire about their services and although I haven't yet booked, the lady that helped me was very gracious. She quickly google earthed my address and measured my front wall to give a general estimate. She provided solutions they offered as well as some considerations that they didn't offer. She also provided some recommendations and gave me an honest answer in regards to how booked they are. To me, it's always the small things and she provided her time and skill to help me get an idea of what I could expect. They will definitely be in the consideration for the project if my wife can wait till they have time to start the job. Thank you for your sincere help!

Recently widen our RV gate and Ron followed up when he said he would and got the stucco guy to come out (even though it was a new contractor for him) when planned and he did a great job on the stucco.  The gate looks great and Ron's pricing was very fair.

I met with Mike Stocker last week and had to post a review because he is great! He was very honest, wasn't trying to just get money from me and he has been very helpful! I highly recommend Mike and this company!

With 2 grand-kids under 2, we needed to be sure they'd be safe when visiting so the search for pool fencing began.  Michael was the 3rd business owner I contacted and while each was personable, their companies had great reviews, Michael was the most informative in identifying the value of his product, the options we had in configuring the layout and from his experience, what he recommended we do once we'd discussed our different ideas on what shape the fence would take given the relatively odd shape of the pool, its size and location--in the middle of the back yard--and that we also wanted to have access to both sides of the back yard once the fence was up without having to open gates or create openings from the pool fencing panels.

His price were considerably less than the previous bids and we set a date and time for installation.  He and his assistant showed up exactly on time, we once again went over the layout, finalized the configuration and in about 2.5 hours, it was done!

Ernie installed our fence and that guy is freaking awesome.  Pricing was competitive and installation was quick.  Ernie went far above and beyond expectations- highly recommend them and I don't do that often!

We can not tell you enough how delighted we are with Mario & Georgegina and to the guys who all worked on our railing project! We are so blown away by their execution, creativity and sense of quality....workmanship!  We absolutely love how their iron rail work turned our home into contemporary elegance!  We are so grateful we were able to work with them!  They were so timely and accurate and always made sure they cleaned up after the days work.  Incredible sense of design and work ethic!!!

We love working with Gabe. We hired Dig It Design to completely redo our front yard. Sacred Steel handled all the custom steel work, including edging and planters (rectangle and V-shaped). Gabe was very knowledgeable and executed the work beautifully!

I really wanted to go with this couple due to the reviews of quality workmanship. They have great pictures on their website of finished work. I did read a review that mentioned a very long wait period, sure enough I gave all my information and was told I was on a three week wait list, 4 weeks went by, I finally gave up. 2 stars for at least staying in contact, but not being accurate with the estimate wait time.
