I called last minute during the weekend with a bad and difficult kitchen sink clogged problem, they sent a technician to my apartment in an hour and also found a broken pipe and replaced it.
Great service and communication during the whole process. I appreciate their service and will definitely use their service again in the future.
Unethical bait and switch. Quoted one price after an in person review and when crew came out they trumped up the job. A quote is a contract. If additional work is needed that should have been in the quote. They will waste your time. But politely :)
Update after company response: it was not a miscommunication after I showed your worker Milton the written agreement (contract) he spoke with you, and he STILL tried to add various fees. Buyer beware.

Unethical, unreliable, and incompetent. Extra quotes on-site, tried to double your cost for repairing nothing. [Update: The company owner refunded the full cost]
I had a quote for fixing a kitchen sink blockage @ $275, and fixing a bathroom leakage for $200. It is not cheap, but our regular plumber was busy with other clients.
The J Sewer plumber checked the kitchen sink, got a rodding machine, and did the work for 5-10 minutes. Came out and said the issue is fixed, because he ran the water, and there is no issue anymore. He told me that he could rod more into the sewage line for $150 extra. I said I can't make the decision right on-site. So he went away and I paid the $275. Btw, he couldn't figure out the leakage issue and told me it would be $200 extra to break the basement ceiling to see what was going on. Again, I said I can't commit to extra costs on-site.
The issue came back twice later that day in the kitchen sink (backflow of water in the sink). And I texted the business owner Jonathan to see if they would ensure the quality of their work for fixing the original issue that I paid for. He said his worker told me they wanted to rod more for the extra $150. It was my fault that I didn't want it. My understanding was his worker told me the original was fixed, and it was as quoted $275. Anything else is an add-on and optional. So you tell me after the event that your quote was not to fix the quoted original issue? And the payment I made was based on that the issue was fixed, per his worker said. Jonathan also texted me and said his worker never said the issue was fixed. Lol, petty.
I read some other reviews and found out that it is a common practice for this company to charge more/double for the same work you got quoted for. Some customers have the same experience. And once you paid, you say bye-bye to your money and better find another plumber company to do it again, Properly!
The $275 lesson is expensive and cheap. Expensive as it's $275 for nothing, cheap as I have some hydro jetting jobs that need to be done, and I'm glad I dodged a bullet.

The J Sewer crew was responsive, quick, and reliable. Jesus diagnosed a faulty installation for our sink disposal and quickly installed it correctly. I'm recommending them to all my neighbors and I'm looking forward to calling them for all my future plumbing issues.
I asked multiple plumbers for quote via yelp messaging and this company was the only one to give me a straight answer. They quoted me, we scheduled, they came, workers were professional and nice (even used shoe covers in the house) and fixed my problem. I only gave 4/5 stars because the price was more than I wanted to pay. If they were to lower their price for unplugging a toilet to $125-$150 then it would be 5 stars for sure.

We contacted Jesus late on a Sunday night for a rough quote to replace an old sump pump that died over the rainy weekend. He responded immediately, offered a very (very) fair quote for the job, and scheduled a visit for the next morning. In just a couple of hours, Jesus replaced our sump pump with a new one, made a height adjustment to avoid sediment issues thanks to our poorly built pit, gave advice on a situation we need to sort out with the city water department, and even talked us out of an upgrade we thought we needed (but didn't).
And the quote stayed the same.
We are really happy with our experience with Jesus and J. Sewer & Drain and absolutely plan to call again for future general plumbing needs.
Quick, honest, and knowledgeable. What more could you ask for?
I would definitely reccomend to anyone with a backed up sewer like I had.

They quoted me $300 for a sewer line rodding, but somehow the invoice was for $1350. If $1350 is what it costs, that's what the estimate should be.
They also gave me a $6500 estimate to replace a crushed underground pipe. Good thing I got another estimate, because the next guy I found did it for $3K less!

Hi,
Yes we originally quoted $300 for a regular sewer cleaning. However, when my crew arrived they noticed you had a flood control system in the front yard and rodding makes it difficult to clean when you have this type of system. So we priced you for a flood control maintenance and hydro jetting/camera the sewer line and you agreed which is why my crew proceeded. As for the broken pipe quote yes we originally quoted $6500. The price also included the ejector pump replacement for the flood system since your current one was not working. We did texted you we can do it for $5,500 since you did the first service with us but there's was no response. Also very surprised you found someone that did it for that less especially in which you had to replace the pump too and take out permits for this type of work. Hope your problem is resolved and enjoy your night! :)

Glad I finally saw this. You did not offer to adjust the quote to $5500, you quoted $5700 (I have the text.) Also, if you could charge $5700, why wasn't this the first bid? That's a difference of $800 from the original quote of $6500 -- A LOT of money to us. We don't like to play games with our money.
Fair note about the flood control system, but instead of lowballing you could've said, Your quote would be anywhere from $300 - $1500 depending on what kind of system you have. Or you could've asked more questions about our system before giving a quote. Being upfront and honest goes a long way.
Even with the replaced pump the other guy I found charged $2000 less(!) than your adjusted quote.
I get it, we all have to make money, and judging by your reviews you appear to do good work. But if I detect a hint of overcharging / shadiness, I run in the other direction. Even if it was all a big misunderstanding, I can't take the chance again.
Just being honest, and I doubt my review will leave a dent in your 5-star average anyway. Have a great New Year.

My kitchen sink's hot water lacked pressure. I was informed by Jonathan over the phone that it was a free estimate. However when the plumber Chew showed up he said it was $200 for him to bring his tools in to diagnose. Any repair would be additional. That was quite a surprise!
That's playing with words a free estimate normally and customarily should come after a diagnosis! Their business practices seemed highly irregular!
Like other plumbers they should have included a fee for a diagnosis in order to provide an estimate upfront. A lot of them reduce the final price by the initial charge for the diagnosis and the estimate.
Very deceptive business practices.
I even called Jonathan at their office back to confirm he had informed me yesterday that it was free estimate and that I wouldn't be charged unless the plumber does the repair. This morning Jonathan still insisted that it was a free estimate , however, added the plumber who comes can charge whatever he wants! Hirer beware!
We had an unfortunately Christmas day pipe break for a fridge water line from post freeze thaw (fortunately we were home to see it happen!). They answered the phone on Christmas Day - and we didn't need them to come immediately because we had turned off the main water valve, but they came out first thing the next day, fixed the pipe and discussed longer term solutions for prevention. Second time using them - they are responsive, punctual, communicative and very nice people.
Jonathan is one plumbing guy you can trust and one of the few out there you can refer to friends and family for his reliability, honesty and integrity.
Pre-pandemic and post pandemic, it has been very challenging to find trustworthy contractors, plumbers, workers who charge reasonably & finish work on time, plus know what they are doing.
Good to know there are still some out there like Jonathan we can rely on.

Wax ring looked like it was failing and I live in a vintage condo on the third floor. Called up J Sewer in the middle of a Saturday with lousy weather. They were able to get someone here in three hours.
Plumber was great. He was friendly and professional. He replaced the ring and left everything cleaner than when he walked in. It was our only toilet and we really appreciated the quick service. Would use again and would recommend.
Diego came out the same day that a plumbing issue at my condo presented itself. He was able to figure out a solution and fix it on the spot. He was courteous, professional and very obviously knowledgeable. I will be working with them for future plumbing issues, and I suggest you do the same!
These guys were awesome! Jesus gave an estimate over the phone (others wanted to charge us $100.00 just for an ballpark estimate). , so we had a general idea of what it would cost. This time we were having them replace a water heater. Super careful moving things, truly treated our home like it was their own. I must have texted Jesus a a dozen questions coz I am anal and he was always responsive. Excellent job They are my go to plumber!!! Great service nowadays is hard to come by (post COVID) ! So it awesome finding such a great company. I highly recommend J Sewer and will use them every time for all my plumbing needs!

Jesus replied quickly to my quote request to fix my clogged garbage disposal. He was able to come within an hour and a half and fixed it up in no time.
He gave me advice for how to keep things draining and clean.
I decided to ask him to take a look at a few other projects I have in mind, including a sump-pump backup battery. He took a look and saw that a piece of my current sump pump had broken off and my water was high. He fixed the unit with a temporary fix, drained the water, and did it for free.
I'll definitely be using Jesus for my future needs - he was friendly and knowledgeable - and, importantly, shared his knowledge with me so I can take care of my home.
I can't recommend the plumbers from J Sewer & Drain more highly. I'm a board member for my condo association and we've used them multiple times for issues ranging from mysterious leaks in our garage to clogged pipes (and I know owners in our building have used them for single-unit work as well).
They've come out on short notice, they're extremely professional and fast to diagnose the root cause of an issue, and their prices are very fair. They're honest and give helpful advice for future maintenance upkeep. Our experiences have all been positive and I highly recommend them to others.

J Sewer & Drain Plumbing we're extremely responsive and we're able to come out the next day for a project. They were able to remove and cap off old water and gas lines that were still connected to my buildings old boiler system. They did an amazing job and at a very reasonable price. Will use them for all future plumbing needs
Great company: responsive, expert, strong problem solving, excellent equipment. In this case, Jesus hydrojetted my sewer line and there were so many roots that it took him several hours. He also fixed a shower handle and advised on several other questions. After all that, he still only charged me his basic quote. Good people!
They helped clean our sewer manhole, what ever it is called in our basement. It kept over flowing and they were able to clean out for a reasonable price. No overflow since they cleaned it out for us, even in heavy rains.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Jesus responded quickly to my Yelp post. Diego came out the same morning and rodded both the main and basement bathroom line. He was kind, courteous and did a great job. We're very happy. J Sewer & Drain Plumbing is efficient, professional and fairly priced. Five stars!
Was able to get out quickly at a time that worked for me to fix a problem that required specialized equipment.

They supplied the initial repair quote via text message and promised they would email additional repair quotes, but despite multiple phone calls they never responded with a quote. They were only willing to have someone come out to evaluate in person if we were going to pay for the repair in the same visit. This made it difficult for our HOA, which needs to collect 2-3 quotes first before committing to a company - at least for the first time our HOA is working with a given company. Communication was great at first, but then I didn't hear anything, and that was frustrating.

We had a small leak under our kitchen sink when returning from a trip over the holidays and they were immediately responsive and came out the same day! They addressed our leak and even helped by fixing a loose faucet handles as well. The team is responsible and extremely helpful! I would recommend.
Called and Jonathan was able to dispatch someone very quickly to our 3 unit building. Once the plumber (Milton) was on site, we were quoted $800 as a starting price for rodding out a kitchen drain. The price was because they had to disconnect the washer and move it, when the drain pipe was easily accessible. Also, pretty sure kitchen sinks are rodded from the kitchen sink drain pipe not the washing machine drain pipe. Very happy with the response time but very unhappy with the resulting quote and assessment, as the owner has sewer rodding starting at $295 rodding a sink drain is much easier and smaller equipment. We will now get other quotes from other plumbers as this seemed very high.
Updating my review because we have now used this group twice and their service continues to be outstanding. For a second time, their response time and resolution of our issue was nothing short of amazing. The customer service is top notch. I will continue to use this company anytime their services are needed and would recommend them to any friend or family. Five stars all day.

I am writing this review almost 2 months late. We Yelper's are quick to give a bad review and lag to give a good one but I am looking to change that. My sump pump went out on a weeknight. I called J Sewer & Drain at 10pm with no expectations to actually speak to a person at that time of the night. A gentleman by the name of Eric was able to assit me and get me set up with a replacement the next morning. I was off at work the next morning but my wife saw that the work be completed. Nothing but good remarks from the wife. The work looked to be professionally done as I had hoped. Reasonable pricing and very accomodating to last-minute needs. Definitely Recommend.
Jesus is an honest, reliable and responsive person who I would recommend to anyone who has a plumbing issue. He came to our place after we experienced a few issues. He helped identify the issue and helped fix the problem (free of charge given it was a quick fix). Other plumbers would charged in the same scenario. Thank you Jesus.
Our bathtub drain was clogged. The team came out within hours of my request. We thought it was going to be a quick and easy fix but we were not that lucky. We had a much bigger problem that was diagnosed and fixed the next morning. The crew worked tirelessly to fix the issue which took longer than expected, but they did not charge more than was originally quoted. Very reasonable, responsive and professional!

Couldn't be more impressed and pleased by the dynamic duo of Diego and Eric! We experienced a minor flood in our basement due to an overflow in the sewer system late one evening. I did a quick search for local plumbers in the northshore area with high ratings and J Sewer and Drain Plumbing popped up. After submitting several requests to multiple plumbers, they were the quickest with responding, thorough in trying to identify the issue that evening and made arrangements to come out first thing the next morning. Since we had guests visiting the next day, timing was key. They arrived promptly at 9 am, were direct with the steps needed to resolve the issue instead of giving us the runaround and worked diligently to fix it. Given the strain of WFH during a pandemic, they were respectful of the work calls I also had to take and worked with me to ensure I was well aware throughout the process.
I would highly recommend anyone looking for a plumber who offers that level of service and strives to go above and beyond for their customers!
I've used J Sewer before, and that good experience led to my using them again. Unlike some other contractors, Jesus will let you know if he is running behind on a prior job. He may show up late for an appointment as a result, but he will show up. I have had other contractors no call/no show. He does good work at a reasonable price, and is always pleasant to do business with.

After many years of working with other plumbers these guys were able to diagnose and repair the issue. AMAZING! We have used them a few times now and they don't disappoint. Its a family owned business. The father came out the other day to look at a possible leak. Luckily, no issue, and he didn't even charge us. I have recommended them to our neighbors.
Seems like this company is hit or miss. I called them to come out and do as assessment of my condo unit prior to renting it out and they were quick, seemingly thorough and it was free! They didn't find any issues in my unit - great. I called them the following week to assess a leak in the ceiling of the retail space below our building's units. I spoke to the owner on Saturday and discussed having someone come out to look at it Monday morning. As of Monday morning, I hadn't heard from anyone so I called around 10am to see what time frame I was looking at. Obviously no one was planned to come out, so they sent someone and they arrived within the hour. As they arrived, I was told by the crew that it would cost $285 for them to set up a ladder and remove 1 ceiling tile to be able to see where the leak is coming from. After that, I basically had to stalk the owner to send us an estimate for any work that would have to be done. We had him look at another item (booster pump) that needed to be removed and capped too, since I had already paid $285 to have someone there. They said the work was too commercial because it was copper pipes and said they would not do the job. Keep in mind their truck, sweatshirts, and website says residential AND commercial - AND FREE ESTIMATES. After hounding them down for a full day, the owner told me they do not want to take on the commercial part of the work. Then, I asked if there was a chance they would cut the drywall to find the source of the leak that they may decide the work is too commercial and refuse to do it. At that point, he suggested I find another plumber who does commercial and residential work to have the work done. So much for my $285 that I have nothing to show for...and no refund offered, obviously.
Long story short: if you have MINOR residential repairs or issues, they might be okay. But if you live in Chicago and it's anything related to a building issue, STEER CLEAR!
We had a clogged sink and J Sewer was out within 15 minutes of our request and completed the work in under an hour. Very professional and would recommend for any plumbing issues!
Wanted them to come out to fix my hose spigot. Took 3 tries and multiple rescheduled appointments. Quoted me $700 over what I ended up actually paying. Would neve use this company.

I found the man they sent out, Diego, to be great. He was professional, responsive, efficient and reliable. My experience was great from beginning to end. Called this company for a sewer scope on a property I'm purchasing. He said he would be able to come today and to just text him the address of the property. I did so right after we got off the phone, no response.

They came when they said they would to check our flooded basement. They helped us out, checked the line, and did not seem to charge us more than needed. I will use them again.
I had a lot of tree roots in the main sewer line running from the house to the city sewer.
The 2 person crew that arrived to power jet my sewer main line were thorough & knowledgeable. They explained everything going on in the sewer while showing me live camera footage of the progress being made.
They were honest in recommending not doing any more jetting at this time due to the questionable condition of the existing pipe. They did a great job at removing about 95% of the roots without compromising the pipe.
Diego came out this morning and completed the inspection of the building's main sewer line in an efficient manner while explaining everything he is doing and looking for. I will have no doubts about using J Sewer & Drain if I ever have plumbing issues. Communication and scheduling the appointment was spot on as well.

We had a few instances where we needed to call this company. They are always prompt and efficient. They know there is usually a sense of urgency when you call for a plumbing issue and they are able to schedule you in quickly. On one occasion we called to have them fix a leak in our basement which turned into a larger issue involving our sump pump. Totally unexpected but they were able to fix it quickly and the cost was minimal (or as minimal as it can be when talking about a sump pump). We will always call these guys first!

Called about an ejector pump cycling on/off- not an emergency, but wanted it checked out to ensure the pump was not about fail.
Initial response very quick and 2 guys from J were at our house within 1 hour. Our issue turned out to be nothing- too much TP weighing the float down. They checked it out, showed me the issue, cleared the TP, showed me the result. Done!!
Tried Angies list; all the call backs wanted to charge ($250-400) to even set foot in our house, and couldn't be there for days.
Jesus picked up quickly and was here in 2hrs, at no charge. Listened and understood our issues, and had solutions for everything. Ended up needing to break concrete and replace an offset pipe in the basement. Can't convey how much work they did in such a short period of time.
Pricing was super reasonable, and he guarantees his work. His crew were extremely pleasant, and left the place spotless. Never calling anyone else.
COVID note: these guys wore their masks and gloves the entire time. We've been hesitant to have people work on the house since quarantine. No surprise these guys were very professional about it, without even asking.
J Sewer responded immediately and came out early Monday morning. I had a handyman fix a dripping bathtub faucet (big mistake). A month later is was worse than it ever was! Well the handyman refused to return my calls (I'm guessing he knew he did a bad job!) and J Sewer to the rescue! And at a fourth the price of the rip-off handyman. The moral of the story: hire an expert to do the job and J Sewer is an expert!

Jesus came out same day and helped solve our relatively easy issue. He was very reasonable and we will definitely call him in the future. Good to have a reliable plumber on hand!
Connected with Jesus to tell him about the job. He told me to text him the details and he would confirm a time. He did not respond until I followed up. We scheduled a time for a few days later.
The NIGHT BEFORE the appointment he texted at 10:30pm to move up the appointment up 2 hours earlier because he was trying to squeeze us in before an emergency job that came up. He asked if I wanted to reschedule for another day. No! Bad business. Would not recommend.
The first company I called wanted to dig down alongside our catch basin to replace the blocked sewer pipe for a shocking price. In need of a second opinion, I called J Sewer & Drain Plumbing. Jesus came out and assessed the situation with a much more efficient and sensible solution. He was able to start the work immediately and was prepared with all tools necessary, plus some. Within a couple of hours, the sewer pipe was cleared and flowing properly for $7450 less than the first company's estimate. I am very happy.
Very quick to respond and gave honest feedback. If not for the nice people who came to take a look, we would've paid 10k on something we didn't need to spend a dime on.

I've had these guys come round twice to deal with emergencies (very old house, lots of issues to work through), and they were so easy to deal with each time. Great problem solvers and I would highly recommend.
Prompt, professional service, Milton and Marcelo did a wonderful job, I will be recommending them to friends and family.
Found J Sewer on Yelp. Did all of our estimation and communication through the site. Was able to get my water heater installation scheduled quickly.
Guys showed up, worked diligently, wore masks (even though I'm not too worried about that anymore), and now I have a new water heater. Prices were fair. I would definitely use them again.

Showed up on time and really worked hard to clear the outside drain. Tree roots proved to be thick for normal power rodding. Came back the next day with a power wash drain cleaner. Again worked hard to clear the drain and this time the roots were no match for the power wash drain cleaner. Water has never drained this well since I moved here. Price was better than expected and they are very responsive.
I didn't realize how much I needed help from J Sewer & Drain Plumbing until the project had started. Thank heavens Jesus and his team have secret special skills in addition to great overall abilities.
I always reach out to J Sewer & Drain when we run into plumbing issues. Diego was at our front door within minutes of calling, and was super professional. I appreciate that he wore a mask and gloves while inside the house, and he made sure to clean up after he was finished.
In the process, I learned more about my house than I ever new after living here for two decades. He treated my house as if it were his own. His pricing is fair and a bargain if you value a job done by addressing the root of the problem instead of a shallow fix. He advised me on work that didn't need to be done.
Super knowledgeable, friendly and did a fantastic job! Showed me ways to save money and to keep other repair jobs down. Can't recommend highly enough!
I had to update this review after having J Sewer & Drain back for a new issue. I called about a leaky sink and within an hour and half they were here, and quickly fixed the leak. I also had 2 slow draining sinks which they were also able to fix. The work was done well, quickly, and for a fair price. I appreciate their honesty and quality work.
Jesus and his team replaced my hot water heater within 24 hours. They communicated clearly, and they were polite, right on time, and saved me between $100-$300 over competitors. Very transparent about timing and price.
TL;DR - J Sewer & Drain was easy to work with, professional, and I will turn to them in the future for plumbing work.
I would definitely recommend J Sewer & Drain for drain cleaning. They recently cleaned two bathroom sink drains and a washing machine drain for us and did a great job. They were able to get us scheduled that same week and charged a very reasonable price compared to other quotes. Jesus showed up right on time, was very efficient, and cleaned up all of the work areas very well.
The night before we were about to leave our house for a week, our hot water heater went out. Horrible timing and of course we were stressed about it. But the next day after calling around we were able to get a reasonable quote and same day water heater replacement. They were super professional and worked quickly.
I had J Sewer come out to do what looked like a simple project that turned into a complicated one (don't they all), and I don't think the team could have handled it better! They were quick to get started and explained what they were doing every step of the way. When there was additional work needed, Jesus wrote up a new quote clearly detailing everything that would be done. I would definitely recommend.

My hot water tank went out at 2 a.m leaving me with a good amount of water on the floor the inconvenience of having no hot water, all the worry of who am I going to call, how much is this going to cost, am I going to be able to get this resolved soon and am I going to be paying someone to come in my home and disrespect me or my property.
Well I finally had some good luck in an overall bad year by choosing J Sewer Drain and Plumbing. Jesus said he would be here at 9 a.m and was here at 9 a.m. with the water heater I wanted and very important to me they were polite explained to me what they would do had masks on at my door without me having to ask along with shoe coverings to not dirty up my floors.
They answered all my questions with no attitude or eye rolling. They did a full replacement along with changing out some pipes which were absolutely needed (the house was built in 1957) and I had hot water again in a few hours. They cleaned up everything so well I couldn't even tell they were there. The price was great and I appreciate the small attention to detail such as not leaving the door of my house open as they went back and forth to an impressive looking well stocked truck for needed parts. I can see Jesus is not about squeezing someone in a time of despair but about treating people right and building a good business and reputation. I could not be more pleased.

Honest, prompt, ready for emergencies, skilled, everything we've needed. We've worked with J Sewer several times now.
The first time we had water coming through our unit ceiling. Other companies tried to charge us quadruple the price and change the whole system. J Sewer found the root of the problem, was honest and said we didn't need to change the whole thing, and fixed our pipe quickly and we haven't had a leak since!!
The second time we needed a sink unclogged on a short notice. J Sewer came out, unclogged the sink extremely quickly and are an absolute pleasure to work with (they worked with my parents here while I was away and my parents love them).
Finally we had what we thought was a serious clog in our basement sink and we were out of town so they came on short notice and got in via our lockbox instructions. I feel bad for wasting their time, but because they're absolutely 150% honest great people they told us it was simply the drain stopper at the bottom of the clogged sink blocking the passage of the water.....I feel dumb but I'm grateful these guys are so nice to come out and address it!
Long story short, whether it's a bigger job like a pipe being busted, or a simple sink clog, these are our go to plumbers, amazing work and great honest people. I highly recommend them to everyone for your plumbing needs!
Jesus responded quickly when I requested a quote through Yelp. He quoted me a reasonable amount and offered a time on the day I wanted. Other plumbers wanted to call me and ask additional questions. Jesus kept it simple. He completed the job(clogged kitchen drain) quickly and fixed other problem(slow draining tub) as well. The job was completed right the first time. Jesus works fast! I called him, and he was here in an hour! He's fast, efficient, quiet, clean, reasonably priced, and very friendly. I can't recommend him enough!
I called Jesus and I got an estimate upfront on my water heater installation, which was around $1485 for the water heater and labor itself. He came the next day to install and kept a very clear communication of what was going on. Long story short, my house is very old with a lot bad piping and he end up having to replaced my pipes, a 2-3 hour job for him became a 5 hours job, which he had to cancel his other jobs and only charged $500 more for changing out all the pipes and drilling a hole through the wall to make it work. Jesus is friendly, personable, and charges reasonable. He also told me the problem is within my chimney and needed inspection and cleaning. He also told me to call him for any issues and to follow up with the situation. I couldn't be of more grateful, thanks guys!

After a clogged pipe that was leaking all over my hallway, I called several 24/7 plumbers. Jesus was the only one to return my call the same day. Actually within 30 minutes. The rest called back the follow day or didn't not call back at all.
Jesus and his team responded to my plumbing emergency within 2 hours & fixed my drain in 30 quick minutes. Jesus was upfront with the price which was fair and reasonable. I hope to never need a plumber again but I'm sure I will & I know who I'm going to call. I would recommend J Sewer to my friends, family and fellow yelpers.
Jesus was able to handle the broken pipe for our kitchen sink. He was quick in ascertaining what parts were needed and once his assistant returned with a part, Jesus completed the job within 2 hours.

Quick response, was able to come to my home the same day I got in touch even thought it was later in the day after business hours. I wasn't answering my phone at first and the plumber was nice enough to wait around a little bit to see if I would answer (we never agreed on an appointment time, he said he would try to stop by at the end of the day). Fixed my problems quickly and efficiently and the price was fair. The plumber explained what was going on with each of the issues I was having, and I was happy about the transparency and that I was able to learn what was going on.

They arrived as promised for a simple drain clean out and quoted a flat fee of $500. We showed them the door they came in. What a rip off.

My clients and I were so impressed with Jesus from J Sewer and Plumbing. Jesus came to do a sewer scope inspection for my buyer clients. He was professional, timely, and reasonable. He also gave my client a thumbnail drive and video of the sewer line. I will definitely refer Jesus to other clients and use him myself.
Jesus is my savior! But no joke. He has done major home repairs for us at a beyond reasonable price.
First experience: We didn't know what was wrong with our hot water heater, just figured it should not be blowing as much out but he was very knowledgeable and courteous about the situation as we had to ask our neighbor to get access to see where it was blowing out. Found out we had a really dangerous situation on our hands as carbon monoxide was not properly funneled out correctly.
Second experience: Thought we needed a sump pump to get out moisture in the crawl space but Jesus got to the root of the problem and found there was actually a broken pipe that needed to be excavated and re-routed. Although it could have taken him 2 days or another company 3-4 days, he and his team worked late into the evening to make sure it was all done at once and did not increase the price for the extra time and labor than we all originally thought the project would entail. He even worked with our home insurance company to answer questions in order to get a partial reimbursement!
Third experience: Minor water leak in our downstairs bathroom.. had some difficulty locating the source but fixed it rather quickly. Always walks us through the process and explains the situations and solutions, which is definitely great as a new homeowner!
Another great thing is that he is knowledgeable in so many areas that you don't need to go to different companies with different problems for your house.
Will definitely be using this company for any and all needs! Highly recommended!
Outstanding service! We called because any time we used an appliance (washer, toilet, dish washer) our basement would take on water. J came out the same day and stayed almost 5 hours until the job was done! He unclogged all the sewer lines beneath our home, explained what he was doing, showed us the problem and resolved the issue. We had a problem with a clogged toilet, and Diego quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it (it wasn't an easy one, but with patience and hard work he was able to get it resolved). We also asked him to check a problem with our garbage disposal unit, and he located a disconnected wire and promptly made the repair.
I highly recommend J Sewer and Drain Plumbing Plumbing Inc. If you're like me, you worry about finding someone who truly knows what they're doing and is good to work with. These guys are the real deal. You won't be disappointed.

Why does the sewer line always back up into our basement on a Sunday? I panicked and called my usual guys but didn't hear back for a while (understandable since it was a Sunday morning). Then I went on yelp and requested help from multiple plumbers. J Sewer and Plumbing were the first to respond and came out within a couple of hours. They were very efficient and took care of everything nicely. Made sure to cut out any tree roots in our sewer line all the way out to the main line and back towards the house. Thank you!

I could not be happier with the service Jesus provided unclogging a kitchen drain. He was extremely responsive when contacted through yelp (more than I was, in fact) and very flexible on when he could come out to fix the drain. The quoted price was competitive with others I had received too.
He couldn't make it when he originally said he would but that's part of the business and has to be expected sometimes...the good part is his communication was great and was right on time with the next time he gave me. Can't really ask for more, IMO.
Jesus was very friendly and efficient...I've found my go-to plumber!
Very responsive. It's unfortunate we couldn't use them, but Jesus and his team are very helpful and patient to go through all my questions. We are outside of Chicago and it'll be a few extra steps for them to get a permit to work on my sewer issue.

These guys are 100% my new go-to plumbers. I highly recommend them; they are very professional, very good at what they do, and are affordable. They did great work for me, and I will absolutely use them again in the future if I ever have plumbing needs again.
Jesus is a really great plumber. Very efficient and professional. Our ejector pump broke over the weekend, and Jesus was able to come tonight after we got home from work to replace it. He uses high quality supplies (Zoeller pump in our case) and is very quick. I was expecting it to take him at least a couple of hours, but he was done in one hour. Pricing is reasonable. He even came down a bit to match some other quotes we had from other plumbing companies.
I know who I will be calling next time I need a plumber. Highly recommended! There's a reason Jesus has all five star reviews on Yelp. He's the best!

Our outdoor sewer and drain lines were backing up after heavy rains. Jesus responded right away and sent his team out the same day. They were prompt, professional and did a great job at a fair price.
We had drain / pump issues in our basement on a Tuesday night at 8pm when I reached out to a number of plumbers in Yelp. J Plumbing was the first to respond within minutes and were able to come first thing in the morning. Thankfully the issue seemed to have fixed itself overnight, but he still spent almost 2 hours with us troubleshooting and making sure we were in the clear. He also silicone resealed the area around the pump for good measure. He didn't want to charge us, which I thought is unheard of in this industry, even when I insisted. I will definitely call J Plumbing next time I have an issue! Thank you!!

Our kitchen pull out faucet hose started leaking so I started a project on Yelp for a plumber after I could not find a hose to fix it myself. Jesus responded quickly and gave me a price to fix or replace the faucet. We initially set up an appointment on Monday (faucet hose started leaking Saturday but not an emergency since we could just keep the water off) but after looking in stores for a new faucet, my wife did not care for models/cost in store and we found a great deal on line for a Delta faucet. Jesus was very flexible with rescheduling his visit for the following Saturday because the faucet was to arrive Thursday or Friday. When it arrived Thursday, he accommodated my request and came Friday.
The actual visit was relatively quick. The old faucet was not easy to remove but once that was removed, he and his team member had the new one installed in maybe 30 minutes. It had some extra steps as it is a pull out faucet as well as touch on/off capability which required some extra steps.
He was very professional and explained what he was doing and I would use his service again. Cost was fair based on searching online for prices in Chicago. Before he left, he cleaned and tested everything making sure it worked. He also accepts credit cards which is always a plus.
Great service! They came out the same day I called and got to work right away. We had some major roots to clear out, but they knew how to handle it and got the job done. Price was better than I expected. I highly recommend J Sewer & Drain!!

Jesus and his son are the best , they came out to my home the same day I called with everything needed to complete the job! After dealing with a dozen sewer no shows and the 2 that did show up lied too me, Jesus was completely honest and did a fantastic job. I would never use anyone but J Sewer!
Jesus is great. Very responsive by email, which I appreciate since I sometimes take care of these things at odd hours when I don't feel comfortable making a phone call. Came and did a camera job in our drainage pipe, gave a good explanation of what he observed there, and offered to come take care of it in the future. Sent video footage through email. Messaged about 6 highly rated plumbers on a Sunday night for an abrupt shower drain blockage and Jesus responded very quickly and could come first thing Monday morning. He had the drain rodded and cleared within an hour. He also had to maneuver around our vanity that the drawer wouldn't come out of-making the job much more difficult for him. He got the job done though without breaking my vanity and I will definitely use him again!!
The city informed me that our water meter in our house was running continuously, which implies there's a leak, but my spouse and I couldn't find one one anywhere. I called Jesus at 9 am, and by 11 am he was at my house. He checked the meter, and then the first place we looked -- the basement toilet -- was the leaking culprit! Jesus turned off the water to the toilet, and the meter stopped spinning. I'm thankful for Jesus's quick and professional work, and he didn't charge us anything! He was very friendly and knows what he's doing. 5 stars, highly recommend!

Jesus is one of the most professional men you can get and he goes above and beyond to ensure the issue is taken care of. We've used him twice now to fix our kitchen's grease trap and he's gone as far to ensure our restrooms are running well and he will be our business' go-to man in the future if any separate issues arise. We highly recommend him. He's a fantastic asset to your company!
Jesus was awesome. We've had a smell coming from our toddler's bath for 2+ years. It's new construction and no plumber has been able to determine the cause. Jesus arrived for a no-cost assessment. Jesus knows his stuff and immediately ruled out the usual culprits (blocked vent, missing p-trap, etc.)
Jesus was unsure of the cause (like every other plumber we have asked) and provided a fair estimate to break into the drywall and investigate. Before doing so, he gave us one last cheap/easy solution to try. He recommended letting CLR sit in the drain for an extended period of time. Low and behold, this recommendation seems like it might have worked. We've tried plenty of different drain cleaners (bleach, vinegar, etc.) and none of them worked. Somehow CLR seems to have fixed things up (fingers crossed). I can't find a single recommendation of this CLR method online, so it's not like Jesus was telling us something that is widely know.
You should feel comfortable hiring Jesus. He was quick, super-responsive, and honest. He provided us advice that didn't provide him any revenue, but ultimately created a long-time customer for all our future plumbing needs.

We had water backing up in the drain in our basement laundry room. I asked J. Sewer for a quote after 9pm, and they responded overnight that they could come by between 8 and 9 the next morning. They were on time and quickly found that there was a blockage in the line running to where our ejector pump is - huge tree roots growing into it. They gave a reasonable cost (maybe a tad high) to get rid of all the roots and clean the pump. We said fine and they finished it quickly. They then tested the water running in the downstairs bathroom and wash machine, and said that they would have to route (sorry if that's spelled wrong) out the pipe if it still didn't drain, which would be an additional charge. I was getting worried with the extra cost, but the guys spent the time needed, running the entire wash cycle to make sure it was draining. Finding everything working properly, they cleaned up and were finished without charging the extra amount. Considering how worried we were, working with J. Sewer was great. They were responsive, explained everything they were doing and did not perform unnecessary work to charge extra. I would use them again.

As others have mentioned, Jesus is very professional, reliable, and communicates clearly. His team did very high quality work repairing the copper pipes that lead to our washing machines and laundry tub in our basement. They were also very creative in using a 2x4 that I had left over to bring the pipes out from the wall and separate them enough so that I could insulate them. They completed the work quickly and everything works perfectly. The only negative was that the price was a decent amount higher than I would have expected, but it was my fault for not asking why. They were only here for about 2.5 hours and the parts could not have cost more than $100, so I felt it was a little overpriced given it was not an emergency. But I am very pleased with the quality of the work, and he even stopped by again the next week to look at some sewer clean outs that he noticed were not sealed properly.
In summary, I would definitely work with Jesus and his team going forward, but will be asking for a more detailed summary of the cost before anything is started.

Jesus came over the weekend to fix our clogged sink. I texted him at 10 AM and he was here a little after 1 PM - a huge relief as most places were telling me it would be at least 3 days before anyone could actually fix it. Pricing was reasonable for the short-notice/emergency - he fixed the problem quickly and was able to recommend fixes for the larger problems we have (he's coming back to do those too!). At the end of his visit, we asked Jesus to just make sure pipes under the sink were re-connected properly - he noticed the previous owner had not only used the wrong parts, but installed them wrong too. He was able to get us the right parts from his truck, fixed them and got us feeling confident about our plumbing again. He's a real good one!
Jesus was quick to respond and give me an estimate for our toilet installation. He was super communicative and clear with the whole process. Seeing that we bought a tricky toilet ourselves, Jesus was really patient with the challenge and made sure everything was accurate and securely balanced. We will definitely use him and his team for future repairs and installations.

Jesus was great! I got a quote from them and they came out a half an hour later. I had a kitchen sink that would not drain so they rotted out the pipes to clear the clog. My P-trap pipe was cracked and leaking so he replaced that pipe for me, and cleaned everything up! The price was very reasonable, the communication was great and they were very friendly! I will be using them again in the future :)
I have submitted a request for a quote from 5 plumbing companies on Yelp for unclugging Toilet and checking water pressure in the toilet for my tenants. Jesus came out to be the most reasonable for the job. I got a message from my tenant saying Jesus came out the next morning and checked everything and said there is no clog and has tested the toilet and water pressure seemed ok. He did not charge a penny. Said I didnt really do anything. I am sure any other company would have charge a minimum fee to just come out. He has got to be the most honest plumber I have ever met. Jesus is efficient, flexible, and professional. His prices are comparable/on the lower end to other quotes I got before he came out to rod my sewer line. I've since had him back to unclog a drain and recommended him to my sister who was also happy with his work.

Nothing like coming in for a busy work day to find that the toilet is malfunctioning. I called Jesus at 8am and he called me back in about 20 minutes and said he would let me know within an hour when he could come by to help us out. Well- he was at our place of business within an hour and had us up and running (as it were) again in about 15 minutes or so. Extremely professional and would recommend 100% for your plumbing needs. Jesus got back to me within 20 minutes of my initial email on a Sunday and was in my kitchen Monday at 1, just as promised. He also let me know when something was going to cost more before he proceeded with the work. Importantly, he let me know that his solution (rodding the sink pipe) may not solve the issue, but it did. Will definitely call him in the future.
Jesus was very reliable and charged a reasonable price for the hard work he and his crew did at my house. He was faced with a very difficult challenge (poor location of the waste pit and (what we didn't know at the time was) a non-functional pump). He and his crew patiently addressed all the issues at our property. I will call him next time we have any plumbing needs!

Highly recommend Jesus! Had an ongoing water issue in our basement and I finally called to get an estimate. I was impressed with his quick response as he was able to come out within a couple hours. I've finally found my go-to plumber, I highly recommend Jose! He came to my house quickly in an emergency, charged a very reasonable rate, and did a fantastic job.
People's Gas knocked on my door at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday night; letting me know I had a major gas leak and that they were shutting my gas off until it could be fixed. I immediately messaged 10-15 companies on Yelp and Jose was the first to get back to me, and with a reasonable estimate. (Other companies quoted an extra charge because of the urgent nature of the issue, Jose did not.)
As promised, Jose showed up first thing the next morning, walked through the leaks with me and explained how he was going to fix them. I live in an old building, and the lines connected to my water heater/furnace had an undisclosed leak. He was here for 3.5-4 hours, and did an incredibly thorough job patching up the lines and replacing the shut off valves. People's Gas checked for leaks when they turned the gas back on, and the commented what an amazing job he had done.
I will be keeping Jose's info and will contact him for any and all future plumbing needs. He was very polite, fairly priced, and treated my home like his own.
Jesus came out to fix a plumbing problem in the bathroom of my rental property (I had no idea what was causing the backup, only that something was very wrong!)--I'm typically weary of new tradesman but he came highly recommended to me and I'm so glad I called him. After two less confident plumbers were unable to perform the job, Jesus was the plumber that was able to cautiously open a 50+ years old main sewer cap to clear a main line without damaging the clean out pipe at my building. He even rodded the main line twice to make sure the line was completely clear. Before securing the clean out cap back on the pipe, he cleaned and lubricated the threads. He then installed and remove cap twice to make sure it will seal correctly and wasn't cross-threaded. What he charged for the job was very reasonable. Jesus arrived earlier than expected at the appointed location. He is honest and polite. Very knowledgeable and meticulous at performing his job. If you hire Jesus, you definitely need to check out his work truck. You will see and understand why he takes great pride in his profession.

The team from J Sewer & Water came over on short notice to unclog our kitchen sink and repair some parts that were leaking water. The results looked great.
Although Jesus is friendly and punctual, he didn't meet my needs. Had a water drain that was clogged and was causing a leak with the AC working on the hot days. He came quickly but was not able to fix the leak after 45mins. He said that he might need to open the wall bc his snake was getting stuck somewhere down the line!! He wanted to charge me $200 (of the $250 he quoted to fix the issue). I refused to pay that for an unfinished job, but I did paid him $100. I regret doing that bc the next day I got another plumber who said that if he couldn't fix it with a snake after 1 hour, there was no charge. The next plumber fixed it in 30 minutes.
Jesus came quickly and at the time we agreed. He diagnosed the probable issue by phone when we talked so I could give advanced warning to the other occupants in my building of the impending water shut off. He fixed the issue and now I have a working toilet again, hurrah! He was professional and reasonably priced.

Jesus was awesome. Right after moving in to our new house, we had water backup in our basement. He assessed the situation, tested it the ejector pump, and determined it was just a stuck valve most likely due to having not been used in so long prior to us moving in. He said it if happened again we could just jiggle the pipe to dislodge the valve. He tested it a few times and it DID WORK. He said if I still wanted, he could open it up and look but I decided his verdict was good enough for me. He said it was NO CHARGE and wouldn't accept payment even though I tried to insist. Had a great experience with Jesus at J Sewer & Drain Plumbing. Woke up the day after XMas to find the sump pump had malfunctioned and there was sewage backup all over our basement. Jesus responded within an hour and was in our house in two. He was professional, courteous, upfront about his costs and charges (fair pricing given the last minute emergency call) and most of all, very respectful of his environment/our house. He examined the sump, quickly surmised the problem to be a large clog and was able to get it fixed in under two hours. It still left us the problem of the backup and sewage, but the sump was working perfectly again and the water had drained. Jesus cleaned the area by the sump as best he could, and gave us a reference for a remediation company as well. He also patiently checked the rest of the house, made sure the sump was indeed working, and gave some pointers for our next steps. All in all, a good experience to the extent something like this can be a a good experience. Highly recommend Jesus at J Sewer and I'll be using him for our plumbing needs moving forward.

Jesus was the first person who responded to my request for a quote (within the hour) and continued to be very responsive. It was so refreshing to have that level of attentiveness when you are trying to figure out a plumbing issue. Ultimately, my fix was simple. As a single woman and homeowner in Chicago I often worry about being taken advantage of. I did not feel this way AT ALL with J Sewer & Drain Plumbing. Jesus was meticulous and fair. I will undoubtedly use his company if I have any plumbing issues in the future.
We had been noticing a foul odor from a couple places in our house (new construction, 1.5 yrs old) and were concerned. Jesus came out at a time that worked for us and took a look around. He pointed out that the odor was likely related to under-utilizing the pipes in the basement, leading to stagnant water in the sump pump, that would never be appropriately emptied by an occasional flush every few weeks. He answered a few other minor concerns and left without charging us anything. Friendly guy! Have yet to follow through on everything, but I plan to heed his advice. We'll use him if we ever have the need again!
Fantastic service. Quick response. Pride in work. My tub shower handle broke so I did what everyone does. Went on Youtube to try to figure out how to fix it. I tried to unscrew the nail that holds the handle in place but it was stuck there and the screw got stripped. I was eventually able to get the screw out but then the cartridge would not budge. I tried to figure it out on my own but wasted much time without success. I talked to at least 5 plumbers who gave me ridiculous quotes to fix a simple problem. Jesus did a fantastic job replacing my kitchen faucet! He even replaced my rusting p-trap and the faucet lines that came with the faucet I purchased where too short, fortunately Jesus had some on hand! The line from our kitchen sink needed to be rodded out. This is more difficult than usual because rather than extending straight down to the basement floor, in order to accommodate our basement flood control system, the kitchen sink line runs horizontally the width of our building in the ceiling of our basement. So it is prone to clogging. Other plumbers have failed at the rodding out. Also we called on a Saturday afternoon, and Jesus came out Sunday a.m. when no one else would. He was efficient and friendly and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend.
Our garbage disposal wasn't working. I called Jesus on a Saturday morning. He came within a hour and fixed it right away. I'm very happy with his service and will definitely call him again.
Jesus is great! He communicates in a timely fashion, does a neat, thoughtful and thorough job, and is super polite and kind which is a nice plus having other experiences in the past. My unit he serviced is in a very old building (almost 100 years old) and the bathroom sink was clogged in the pipes beyond my control (I had already tried to do an amateur job cleaning my p trap myself). He was able to quickly rod my pipes, finding the blockage several feet down and also adjusted / used sealant to ensure my pipes were tight afterwards as I had leak issues. Given how old and worn the threads were he took his time to ensure each joint was not leaking and and made adjustments as needed. He also helped to adjust the sink stopper to actually move nicely which was beyond the ask of the original plumbing issue. Overall my sink which drained slow and never had a working stopper now works better than it did for the last 4 years. I also got extra quotes for other issues in the building and really appreciate that he took the time to look into extra things and provided me with free quotes. Thanks Jesus!

The same problem happened again in 15 days. I called him and he addressed the issue the very next day. It was my tenants fault that they were putting lemon wedges and other big food pieces in the drainage. He fixed the drainage and did not charge me anything.

Had a garbage disposal that broke and starting leaking from the bottom which usually means its time for a replacement. Jesus quickly provided me 2 quotes based on if I supplied the disposal myself or if he did. Ultimately, I had him provide the disposal and perform this install. He was able to arrange an appointment to do the job promptly and was flexible with timing. Jesus and his apprentice showed up on time, within the estimate, and left my kitchen in great shape. Disposal works great, no more leak, and would recommend him for any other plumbing work.

Jesus and his team are fantastic. Moved into a new home to find out that the tree roots had taken over our pipes underground and the plumbing for our upstairs bathroom was completely clogged. He was able to find the broken pipe under the basement with his camera, and replace it for a very fair price. He was great at communicating what the issues were so that we can be proactive with maintenance. A five star review for five star service.

Jesus responded to my request for a sewer clean out right away and was the best price so far. He showed up on time the day we scheduled and was very professional. He pointed out some corrosion the city had with their sewers and suggested we report it so that it doesn't affect our system. We will call him again for next years cleanout.

While rodding the sewer lines, he discovered a broken pipe in front of the house. He returned within a few days to fix the pipes in the front. I'm happy I found J Sewer. I had a clogged toilet that wouldn't unclog no matter what I did. After a few days, I finally gave in and decided to find a plumber. Jesus was available to come same day but I had to go to work so we made an appointment for the following morning. Jesus was on time. Of course, when he arrived he flushed and voila... no more clog. Super frustrating but I was also relieved. There was another issue I had mentioned to him when setting up the appointment- the tank would take forever to refill, I'd been dealing with that for 6 months. Jesus was able to fix that while he was there so the trip wasn't a waste. I hope I don't have another plumbing issue but if I do, Jesus will be my first call.

Like tons of homes in the city during the deep freeze, I had a water pipe freeze and burst. Plumbers were backed up and I was on about 5 wait lists. We had to get a new ejector/sewage pump and the installation took around 1 hour. From initial call to job completion was 4 hours! I will call Jesus again for any other plumbing needs!

I had a great experience with J Sewer & Plumbing. I wanted someone to pick up a toilet I had purchased at the hardware store, bring it to my home, remove the old toilet, and install the new one. I sent out a request for quote to multiple companies. Some didn't respond. Jesus from J Sewer & Plumbing responded within an hour and provided a fair quote. Others wanted to schedule a time to come give an estimate (and charge a trip fee). I didn't think it was a job that required a separate trip to estimate. On the day of the service, Jesus and his team showed up on time. The work was done professionally, timely, cleanly, and properly. I highly recommend J Sewer & Plumbing.

I requested a visit on Tuesday for my non-working hot water heater and Jesus got back to me right away and came the same day. He diagnosed the problem which required a new water heater and offered me several options, all reasonably priced. By Thursday morning, my old heater was removed and new one installed. Communication and explanation was great and I could the work was professional. Jesus is definitely a nice person to work with. Price for the water heater and labor were very reasonable. Very professional, prompt and clean work. I chose this company after contacting several places for estimates to replace a water heater. They were very accommodating and allowed me to choose the water heater of my choice with the help of their expert advice. I feel they did a great job efficiently and thoroughly.
Jesus is the man. Fast, flexible, and reliable. When we received an unusually high water bill, and then a letter from the City of Chicago stating that it had come to their attention that our water meter was running continuously, I reached out to multiple outfits looking for help tracking down the culprit. All of them were highly reviewed, but Jesus was the first and only one of the bunch to pick up the phone without directing me to an answering service or scheduling a follow up call. In one call we were able to diagnose and come up with a game plan, and then schedule service within the week. When I finally did get calls back from other highly rated outfits, all I got was hemming and hawing about what it possibly could be, and that it would be a while before anyone could come out.
Jesus came out directly, assessed the situation, and determined that we had (2) running toilets and explained that this can be very costly but that this was an easy fix. He fixed them fast and was on his way, all the while displaying the utmost knowledge and professionalism. I can't say enough good things about Jesus & Co.
J Sewer & Drain Plumbing are professional, courteous, priced right, and just plain awesome. I will be using them for all jobs big and small moving forward. A++

Jesus and his assistant were fantastic. They fixed my issue promptly and at the same time adjusting the install to meet some unforeseen factors. I will be using them again in the future.
Jesus made a quick diagnosis of the issue and did the work immediately. He was fast, efficient and most importantly - fair. I highly recommend his services.

Jesus helped to fix our kitchen sink clog. Very professional. Showed up on time and took care of the problem with no issues. Jesus also changed a leaking pipe and tightened a loose faucet for free. Honest and responsible professional. You can trust Jesus. He paid us a house call after we had a frozen pipe. I was out of town and my wife had to deal with it with two little kids.. He had advised us to run the dryer and put space heaters in the laundry room to thaw the washer line and it worked but only after he was on his way. He arrived when he said he would and found the pipe to have thawed. HE DIDNT CHARGE ANYTHING FOR THE HOUSE CALL!

I can't compliment Jesus enough...5 stars doesn't do them justice. We had a pipe burst in our crawlspace as the polar vortex began to thaw. While I was at work, my wife was unable to turn off our house's main water valve. As I raced home from work to help, my wife spotted J Plumbing (Jesus) entering our neighbor's house to assist them with a separate issue. Jesus was more than willing to jump in and help us turn off the water to avoid any additional damage. He then proceeded to come to our house following completing the work at our neighbors. What initially appeared to be a routine pipe replacement turned into a larger project that Jesus and his crew tackled with expertise. We are back up and running all at a very fair price. I have a new go-to plumbing company...I suggest you call Jesus if you need help.

I always wait a month to write a review. Well Jesus and his partner came to my place and removed an old under the counter sink in the bathroom. They installed a new on the counter sink, replaced a showerhead. In another bathroom, they replaced a shower head and unclogged a sink. They completed these tasks within a few hours. They do an amazing job and clean after themselves. Highly recommend them

Jesus was great to work with and fixed my clogged kitchen stack and poorly routed kitchen sink plumbing. When you have a clog that you can't take care of yourself, it's such a relief to have a responsive plumber who can show up the next morning. Communicated thoroughly through the whole process and charges were verified beforehand. Even came back to follow up on an unrelated issue.
Showed up on time, did a great job (exactly what was quoted) and was expedient and very professional about it. Would definitely use Jesus again.

I could not be more happy with the friendly and efficient service that Jesus provided. I called him in the morning asking about potentially coming in to look at a toilet draining issue when another company was going to take another day to come out to see it. He was able to stop by about 30 minutes later to fix the problem. He took the time to completely explain the issue and took another step to hopefully stop it from happening again.

Jesus came out the next day to replace my water heater after it broke the night before. He was right on time and finished the job when he said he would. He is very proud of his work and makes sure your needs are met. It was very easy to get in touch with him and talk to him. I will give him a call when I need his help again. Good job.
Jesus came over and rodded out my sewer line. Did a great job at a fair price. The other quote I got from a larger company was almost twice as much. Was running a little late and actually called me to let me know. I would definitely use again.

I called Jesus because my neighbor below reported a leak coming from my bathroom. Jesus responded immediately, and was out the next morning. His assessment was correct, leaking wax ring under the toilet. Replaced it and re set the toilet in no time. He does not overcharge, and he communicated everything to you so you understand the problem. He also gave me some other plumbing tips for the house. I will be calling Jesus when I replace my toilet and tub this summer.

ABSOLUTELY use this team. Jesus & his team are just wonderful. He is responsive, thoughtful, careful, and articulate. His work is beautiful, professional and prices are fair. He came over to look at the issue at a time convenient for me (weekend). He outlined the two or three possible sources of the problem, did just enough work to clarify and then worked out a plan to rebuild quite a bit of pipe under a 115-year-old concrete basement floor. (YIKES) He brought a capable, careful group of workers, right on time and corrected the problem; called me when an unexpected wrinkle came up; and took care of it, all in one day. The team cleaned up admirably, including new concrete for the floor. He seems to work 24/7 as far as I can tell, and really cares about professionalism and quality of the work. He's knowledgeable, experienced and accountable. I found them from Yelp, I am absolutely thrilled and recommend him to everyone.
