I hate long-winded reviews, but I'll write one anyway. Here's the quick executive summary:

I obtained two quotes for what ended up being a complete reface for all our cabinets. I found both companies more than competent, and would have felt quite comfortable using either, but what really sold me on Better Than New Kitchens was the owner, Dan Oldejans.

After a preliminary conversation and estimate on the phone (I loved that you can give him your own measurements via email and he provides an estimate before he even comes to your home). When I received his estimate, I informed him that we weren't even sure that we wanted to go through with it because I was way, way, way off on my own personal estimate, also known as wishful thinking.

Dan still came to our home and spent over two hours with me going through the process and showing me samples and available options. He was thoroughly honest when I questioned whether we were getting a little outside the pricing parameters for a house of our size and price (we were) and I appreciated his candor.

I always take that sort of response as an indicator of the type of individual I am dealing with and that initial, very positive impression held through our entire project. AND, there was absolutely no pressure to up sell.

Dan was also quite responsive when we asked him to price out various portions of the project as we tried to fit the reface into the budget. He worked hard to reduce the overall estimate once he was able to measure everything himself. Though it was often just a few dollars here and a few dollars there, I appreciated the effort.

We eventually decided to go all-out and have the whole home refaced, and even added a new cabinet. Dan continued to work hard to make things work, even having the patience to charge three different credit cards in order to allow us to get together the total amount for the down payment. Honestly, I was just a little paranoid about writing a check with no recourse if something bad happened. Using the credit cards gave us an option outside the Registrar of Contractors should that occur. Turns out that fear was a totally unfounded. Since then, we have never looked back!

A totally awesome transition from our blonde, rather plain tract home cabinets to a very rich, nearly custom look! Craftsmanship was outstanding. Seams where the crown molding butts to the wall are imperceptible. The brads on the 1/4 veneer are also nearly impossible to see. Overall, we are totally pleased with the workmanship and results.

Though the cost was a lot more than we had initially budgeted, we are thrilled that we decided to go forward with it. I am certain it will add a substantial amount to the resale value of our home when that day comes to retire in a smaller place. The transition was actually so breathtaking that it has us reconsidering the move.

The work was completed on-budget and even a day early. Dan is a hands-on owner, and he and his team were always on-time to start and they finished at a reasonable time each day.

There were a couple minor snafus, and they were addressed properly and quickly. When the crew arrived the first day, someone who shall remain nameless (Dan) backed in the trailer a little too far and chipped a little stucco off the top of the garage frame. I might never have noticed, but Dan brought it to my attention, and addressed it immediately by taking a paint sample and getting a little touch up. It was repaired and imperceptible within an hour!

A second snafu involved the hardware. We used different pulls for the kitchen and the rest of the home. They missed that and drilled for the same hardware. Dan advised me of the problem, and being the reasonable people we are, we agreed that Dan would replace the hardware with something we still liked. He offered to go to a specialty hardware store to try to get a match with our original choice in order to make us happy. In the end, both sides were lucky that we found an acceptable replacement at the local Home Depot. I'm guessing that's a lesson learned and won't happen again.

In the end, we were exceptionally pleased with the work, and should we actually move in the future, we will use Better Than New Kitchens - no second estimate required.

I would highly recommend Valley discount cabinets! Jeff has got to be one of the if not the most punctual and honest and friendly contractor I have ever dealt with. Communication was consistently great and he always showed up right on time as promised. My cabinets were refinished to a new color to my complete delight. Price was competitive and again Jeff was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. I highly recommend Jeff and Grapevine Cabinets for your cabinet refinishing or refacing needs. You certainly will be impressed by his fine work!

We recently had Space Solutions turn our entry coat closet into a pantry, and it turned out great! Our kitchen doesn't have a pantry, and since the coat closet is right next to it, it made sense to put it to good use. They brought my vision to life, and it has more storage than I even expected! It definitely maximized the closet space and now my big Costco hauls are not daunting because I have a place to store everything. It did take a bit to complete the job due to supply issues, but now that it's finally complete, it's perfect! If you're on a time crunch, I'd have them check availability of items prior to starting the job to make sure that they can complete it when you need. Regardless, they did not take our final payment until everything was done and to our liking. I would recommend them!

Bought a smart garage door opener and needed someone to install. They replied quick to my inquiry, gave an unbeatable price, and came out same day. Took them just over an hour to complete the install and looks/works great!

We purchased our cabinets from Chris at Cabinets for Less. He helped us pick out the cabinets and had ideas we had never thought of. Chris took care of everything and we are very pleased with his service. He went above and beyond to guarantee our satisfaction.

We just got our custom cabinets installed yesterday and could not be happier!! It turned out perfect! Chris was a great guy to work with and was very responsive to calls and emails! He came out and measured and got us all the info price delivery etc very quickly! Yes, it took awhile... these are custom, but it was so worth the wait! Installation went great and they were very professional as well! Everything was perfect when they left!

Had a great experience at Cabinets 4 Less. My wife and I added an addition to our kitchen. We have never took on a project like this and we were not sure what to expect. My husband and I downsized to a much smaller home after becoming empty nesters. Our new home came with a very small master closet and no storage area. To solve this problem, I wanted to expand our master closet by making a doorway from our closet leading into the adjoining bedroom. Chad and his wonder assistant, Marcus, were able to handle every aspect of the job - tear out of old closet and wall, drywall repair, moving electrical lines, installing new flooring - and then building a beautiful closet. From the design process with Jennifer, the demolition, rebuild of walls and flooring to the actual build of the new closet everything went so smoothly. Ten stars were earned by the entire crew. They were always punctual. They cleaned up after work everyday. They were so easy to work with. I felt like I had always known them. Chad and Marcus made sure to ask me about every detail before they proceeded to make sure it was what I wanted. They even measured our clothes to make sure the clothes rods were at the level I wanted. Chad's trim work around the curved baseboard was far superior to the work done in our previous custom home. They came out Fabulous! I'm going to have him redo this small wood table to silver his idea.

I love my new cabinets. The choices were just enough and not overwhelming! The sizes available were a little off for some areas like above my refrigerator but other than that, I'm happy.

These guys are car dealership of cabinets. Poor customer service, the product you want not in stock, and don't want to deal with you if they can't make the sale. Don't waste your time!

We recently purchased our new kitchen cabinets and granite countertops from Diamond Kitchen and Bath located at 5710 W. Bell Rd.  Denis Ryan assisted us throughout the process of ordering and delivery. Denis was very helpful and professional, giving us some ideas for planning our kitchen cabinets.  

The cabinets and granite were of excellent quality. We had a contractor install the cabinets, as we had some renovations to be made.  Our contractor had no problem during the install, as the cabinets fit completely accurate.
