Best Cabinets in United States

We recently purchased a home and knew we did not want to rip out the old cabinetry since the bones were good. We called BTN after reading positive reviews to take the tired 20 year old kitchen and family room in our new home from bland to beautiful.  Dan spent a few hours working with us on the best solution. The timeline from initial meeting to finished project took about 5-6 weeks.  All the yellowed maple cabinets now look fresh and modern with a combination of replace, resurface and repaint. The family room was painted with a smooth acrylic finish of 3-4 coats that will withstand use and cleaning. Replacement doors were custom made to match the intricate stepped pattern on the other doors to cover the openTV cabinet section and painted to match. The kitchen layout was good, but Dan replaced the impractical wine rack and corner open cabinet with new cabinets. The opening for the new wall ovens was enlarged and reinforced for the new appliance. All of the kitchen cabinetry was resurfaced with veneer to match the soft gray alder doors we chose and we used the darker gray stain doors and veneer on the island. Dan's team, from painters to carpenters was professional, efficient and highly skilled. The result is fantastic and we are very pleased with the result.   If you are thinking of refreshing your current cabinetry, you could not make a better choice than Better Than New!

I read through all the Yelp & NextDoor reviews and said to myself wow, you never see all positive reviews.  We hated our kitchen remodel from 5 years ago with a dark stain, which I will admit I played my part & regret.  So we were conflicted & hesitant to spend more money on the mess.  Called Jeff at Grapevine to come out for a quote and we stopped there.  Result?  As other have said:  most impressive contractor we have dealt with, showed up on time, crew was efficient and respectful of our property, he managed the job start to finish, paid attention to detail, etc.  Everything others have said is true.  Two months after we started the process we have a bright, beautiful kitchen with white refaced cabinets and it looks like new.  Sincerely wish I had known about his quality work & the refacing process previously.

This review has varied elements to it which really ended up in an OK rating.

1) The Consult went really well. I had  major requirement, that was that the cabinets were suspended off the garage floor with by cantilevering from the wall or by feet. They were able to do the later which is why I went with them. At the time, materials appeared to be consistent with my expectations with a combination of particle board for the shelves and quality ash plywood for all other parts of the framing and melonine just for exterior facing. I avoided melonine, not necessarily because of the added cost, but there would be little to know plywood used.  The designer I was working with was also able to incorporate my design ideas for very functional garage cabinetry. So fare earning 5 stars.

2) Installation day. This is really where Space solutions lost the three stars.

Materials used and the consistency and aesthetics behind the closed cabinet doors were a huge disappointment from what I was expecting. It was as if the use of plywood was only used in 22 places. and even that varied between cabinets. It was obvious, despite that was shown to me when I ordered them with the consultant, they used particle board where possible and the plywood as little as possible.

In the images, note in the sample piece, that particle board is only used as a shelf material. In the image of two upper open cabinets, plywood is only uses as the support on the outside edge of the shelf with particle board in the rear against the wall. You can also note the inconsistent and lack of continuity between the two cabinet sections. A closer look in the smaller left cabinet, melonine is even visible in a side support that doesn't even match the outside cabinet. Very sloppy work and and cheaply constructed as possible.

This did not fly with me. Although I had them return back out to at lest bring some continuity between the two sides, the lack of plywood in the structure is enough for me to not recommend Space Solutions or at lease the person who installed the cabinets.

A different installer came out to fix the most obvious issues. That went well. But to fix the overuse of particle board would require the cabinets to be rebuilt, something unlikely to happen.

This is absolutely one of the best companies that we have dealt with in years. From the 1st phone call to the company to request a quote, to the call back from the estimator and the installer who was the best young man and very professional.  He made sure that every step of the install was on point and perfect. I would not hesitating using this company again for any of the services that they provide.

I recently purchased cabinets from Cabinets 4 Less.  I am very pleased with my purchase and they look very nice.  I had a good experience with this process, beginning and ending with Beth. She was extremely helpful in planning and designing and made helpful suggestions and recommendations about things I hadn't even considered. The cabinets are made quickly so there is no long wait. And their recommendation for installation was excellent.  Cabinets arrived on time.  There were a couple of small glitches but those were easily worked out to everyone's satisfaction. It was a very smooth process.  I would highly recommend Cabinets 4 Less to anyone who is considering new cabinets and wants nice cabinets at a reasonable price.

Finish on wall unit was bad...........

Worker used air compressor spraying black paint inside my new house trying to fix poor paint-stain job.. He coated floors, counters, furniture and walls with a black paint powder. Because the A/C was on it blew the black paint all over my house!!!!!!!!!! I called and talked to Paul expressing my anger and asked him to come out and see what my new house looked like. He said he didn't see any need to come out. The first attempt at touching up the wall unit not only trashed the house but in some areas of the wall unit it looked worse than before the touch up.

It took two days of cleaning to get my new house cleaned up. No one even attempted to apologize until I unloaded on Paul (good guy) that I was really angry that neither he nor the carpenter offered an apology... once I said that he said he was sorry. Paul seemed thoroughly  unimpressed with the black powder in the house until my wife ran her hand over a leather couch and showed him that her hand was now black.

After two days of cleaning (on our own) Chris offered a cleaning company for the living room and kitchen.  I told them we would finish the cleaning ourselves and the kitchen and living room were not the only areas that were trashed. Again I told them the paint was all over my house, not just in the kitchen and LR.

A few days later they sent out a finish person that fixed most of what was wrong with the wall unit....

The build quality was good.

They exceeded my expectations on the new kitchen cabinets. Good value for my money, easy to work with, and was completed in a timely manner. Pleased with the process and final end result.

I found Mike on Yelp after purchasing a Ring Doorbell. I had some issues getting our old one removed and needed help. Mike was quick to respond and we got something set up. I loved that he actually showed up on time and texted me as soon as he was here. He was friendly and not only got the doorbell installed but helped me get my app set up as well.

As far as pricing, Mike was so affordable. Some of the other guys I found were trying to charge double what he did. So, A+ for value and service. I'm gonna be using him again for sure!

David was always on time, followed up quickly, answered all our questions and was spot on from the get go. He laid everything out in writing so there were no concerns before hand, explained everything from start to finish, brought a ton of samples and even answered 1000 phone calls when we decided to pick out a slab (which I would highly recommend doing and not going by the samples if you want a lot of movement in your granite.) He even went above and beyond in every aspect explaining how we could save money and we are so thrilled with our new countertops. He even provided a plumber and we have had no issues with any leaks and everything works perfectly. We got a bunch of quotes and even though David was the cheapest the quality was amazing, outstanding, and highly recommended. We will definitely call him again and refer him to anyone who needs new counter tops.

My husband and I downsized to a much smaller home after becoming empty nesters. Our new home came with a very small master closet and no storage area. To solve this problem, I wanted to expand our master closet by making a doorway from our closet leading into the adjoining bedroom. I spent months looking for a general contractor and closet company for this project. The job was too small for the contractors and no closet company could do the prep work required before building the closet. Then I found Organized by Design on Yelp. Chad and his wonder assistant, Marcus, were able to handle every aspect of the job - tear out of old closet and wall, drywall repair, moving electrical lines, installing new flooring - and then building a beautiful closet. From the design process with Jennifer, the demolition, rebuild of walls and flooring to the actual build of the new closet everything went so smoothly. Ten stars were earned by the entire crew. They were always punctual. They cleaned up after work everyday. They were so easy to work with. I felt like I had always known them. Chad and Marcus made sure to ask me about every detail before they proceeded to make sure it was what I wanted. They even measured our clothes to make sure the clothes rods were at the level I wanted. Chad's trim work around the curved baseboard was far superior to the work done in our previous custom home. Everything was built to exact detail. They also built beautiful cabinets in our garage. I highly, highly recommend Chad with Organized by Design.

All I needed was a replacement piece to the back of one of my kitchen drawers. I had gone to lowes, Home Depot, etc. no one would help. My kitchen drawer front broke off, and I needed the back piece of wood with a router cut in it. I found Arizona Custom Cabinets via search near me. I went there and explained my issue, and showed the gentleman who helped me the piece of broken wood. He said oh yeah let me look in back. 5 minutes later he returns with a freshly cut (exactly measured) piece of wood to replace my broken piece. You've saved me! How much do I owe? The gentleman says 10 dollars. All I had were credit cards so he says I don't deal with cards just bring it by next time your around. Seriously? What excellent, immediate customer service!! I drove to the nearest atm and returned with $20. He wanted to give me change and I said no, an extra $10 is the least I could do for his professional, immediate, courteous help.

I don't need new cabinets, I just needed the one piece and they saved me! I do know if I need any type of cabinetry work done in the future I will go to Arizona Custom Cabinets! Sir, if you read this, thank you again!

Save yourself a lot of time and energy in researching the best and go with Phoenix Cabinet Company. I'm using them for the second time for another project in Scottsdale because I was so impressed after the first project. They are professional, diligent, detailed, fair priced and they ensure you are in love with the finish product. They do custom and they are a dealer of Soliid so it's great to be able to mix and match! Call Kevin, he's my favorite. He will take care of you!

I love my new cabinets. The choices were just enough and not overwhelming! The sizes available were a little off for some areas like above my refrigerator but other than that, I'm happy.

I was in the design center in mid October  Salesman was rude to my husband and while I did proceed with him we did a design that day but did not complete.   after I left the showroom communication with him was spotty.  He would not return a call.  I moved on to look for another source.  I did not find one I liked as well as cabinets to go product.    On Oct 31 We went back in the center and asked for a different salesman.  I was promised he would not treat us like the previous salesman.       we did design picked cabinets. He called to make sure they were in stock and promised delivery in next two weeks. We paid in full and signed contract.  We left the store   Oct 31.   any and all communication between Rick salesman and store manager Brett has been generated by us.   They do not return calls, do not respond to messages and on the last week in November store manager left my husband a voice mail telling us how busy they had been. He said they had 20 pallets if cabinets they had not had time to deal with.  This is my attempt to contact some of those other buyers like ourselves who are waiting and being fed bullshit.   I also would like to keep anyone else from having to experience this frustration and stress and added expense.  I would not recommend to anyone   you can buy custom cabinets and have installed in less time than dealing with this.

Diamond deserves zero stars.  I wish I would have looked at Yelp prior to selecting this company!  When you work with Diamond you get great service in the store.  Helpful, draw up plans, details are discussed.  All was good until it was time to execute on the installation.  Promise date for install was missed by 6 days.  I understand and can deal with it.  After the cabinets installed, the counter top is then measured and then made to be sure the right fit.  Another week goes by and we call and ask when will counter top be installed.  Turns out it was ready and sitting there; no one bothered to call us.  It is then installed but it was incorrectly measured.  I called Diamond to say we have drawer interference.  Here is the kicker...they tell me to call their supplier and work with them to resolve the issue.  Diamond totally disowns working the issue and wants me to work with the supplier directly.  Amazing!  They will take your money but if problems happen then you get to deal with their subcontractors.  I am now playing phone tag with their supplier and Diamond has not bothered to check up on me to see if the issue is resolved.  Never use Diamond.

Remodel is beautiful.  Dealing in-store was a pleasure.  Installation scheduling went like clock-work.  However, one cupboard door was missing at installation and two doors did not match the others.  REPEATED emails and phone calls have been to no avail.  Each time we're told they're on their way, let me check and get back to you, and let me get with the warehouse.  Really disappointed with the follow up on this.  We've been dealing with this since October 2021.  Today, Saturday, Jess tells us the warehouse is closed and he'll do his best to get with them on Monday and find out if our cupboards are in their February 8th shipment that's coming in with a bunch of back orders.  February 8th.   I realize there are problems with the supply chain, but this has gotten just ridiculous.
