Best Plumbing Services in United States
I can't think of any small business that deserves its 5-star rating more than Bert at All Rooter & Plumbing. Bert is the consummate professional - quickly answering emails/calls/texts, showing up to appointments on time, and providing 1st rate service. But what really impresses me is his honesty, integrity, and work ethic.
Sounds a little over the top? Let me explain...
Like most homeowners, there's aspects of my home that completely elude me. Plumbing is one of those, and I don't hesitate calling in the pros when the occasion calls - and that occasion came calling last night. The basement toilet of our 100-year-old bungalow started backing up, and didn't clear after some pretty aggressive plunging. Then the drain in the shower stall (next to the toilet) wouldn't drain, and had a few inches of standing water. The water level in the toilet lowered to almost nothing, and started to bubble. Worst of all, the sewage ejector pump starting backing up (and smelling as you'd probably expect). Not pleasant, and not easily fixable, especially at 1AM on a Wednesday.
Within minutes, I had my wife looking up some local plumbers, while I left messages with the 4-5 most promising ones. Bert @ All Rooter was not only the first to call me in the morning, but the ONLY one to get back to me, period. And he not only made an appointment to swing by that same day, but showed up on time.
But here's where I was truly blown away - after looking at the problem, and guessing it was a bad ejector pump, he went to work. After 4-5 minutes, Bert called me over, and showed me a filthy ball of baby wipes that had clogged the pipes. Once that was cleared out, the problem was solved - and when I reached for the checkbook, he said no charge.
Bert could have easily replaced that pump, charged me for it, and I'd have been none the wiser. And in all likelihood, I'd have probably written a glowing Yelp review on top of it all. And there'd have been zero chance I'd have caught it.
If it were possible to give Bert more than 5 stars, I would. He deserves it in my book. However, things being what they are, All Rooter will have to settle for my absolutely highest recommendation, my thanks, my respect, and my future business.

Called Alex Sunday night after fighting with a clogged kitchen sink all day. He returned my call promply and scheduled service first thing Monday morning. Alex arrived promptly at 8am and got to work quickly. He resolved our clogging problem before 9am and provided helpful tips about my home's plumbing. Overall great experience...don't hesitate to call!

I own a town home. I've had numerous problems with my sewer and have had several plumbers look at it. Most recently about 25 feet of sewer line outside my garage crashed. The first plumber knew there was a problem because he put about 40 feet of rod through the clean out in the kitchen, which came with the house. He noted that it was only about 17 feet to the sewer main. He didn't have a camera and never came back. I called the plumber I normally use. I thought that if I was going to change a pipe, I might as well have a clean out installed.
He located the problem and dug a hole about 5 feet down. There wasn't a pipe there. Before talking to me, he dug a hole a couple feet away and changed a pipe to install a clean out. He threw out the pipe before I could see it and tried to convince me that there was a second problem. He didn't come back to seal the hole until I called the Illinois Attorney General. I called a third plumber who located the problem in the common area. He dug a hole so deep they hand to dig a stairway so they could get in and out. I called a fourth plumber who located the break on a 45 degree angle in the common area.
I contacted All Star Plumbing and Sewer. Michael found the problem right away. They dug a hole about 3 feet deep 6 inches from where the second plumber dug his first hole around 2 feet from the end of the clean out. The pipe actually went straight down. It kind of makes sense because some units had basements, but the issue is I had about 15 feet of unnecessary pipe and about 3 unnecessary turns. All Star fixed that design flaw by putting an elbow on the end of the pipe and turning it out. They verified that there were no tie ins after that point. I put gallons of water through that pipe to test it. It works great.
The other thing is All Star is legit. As part of the due diligence, I checked his license with both Chicago and Illinois on their web site. He gave me a copy of his insurance certificate. I even checked his business with the State of Illinois and it's in good standing. He gave me the permit and dig numbers. I could see where the utility companies marked the lines. I was there with the building inspector when he examined the work. He wouldn't take Bill or my word for anything. He wanted to see it. The inspection passed with flying colors. He was listed as A+ on the Better Business Bureau's web site. His Yelp reviews were all 5 Star. I agree All Star Plumbing and Sewer deserves all the stars so I'm giving them another 5 start review. The icing on the cake is their price is reasonable.

I was very happy with their installation of my Rheem hybrid heat pump water heater. It was kind of complicated and I was having a hard time finding someone to install it. They did it quickly and at a good price. Thanks again.

I had some plumbing done by them about a year ago. My house still had an old grease trap that would clog a lot and the lid broke on it one day so I called these guys up. These guys are the shiznitz. It wasn't cheap I will tell you that but they removed my old grease trap and canceled it out. They explained how after the 60's houses were no longer required to have them. All in all, I have never had a clogging issue and I no longer have to put up with that very bad smell thanks to them.
To give you an idea of the smell, it was like a steamy plastic bag full of smelly arm pits.

Can't say enough good things regarding this company! Very knowledgeable, professional, reliable. Would not quit until the job was working perfectly! Also checked a few other concerns and cleaned up any mess that might have been made! Shocked how very reasonable their fee was especially how difficult the job ended up being. We will be calling them in the future!!!

Chicago Sewer Experts are the real deal. They are very professional and knowledgeable about determining what the problem is. Ricky and Daniel both were both working on my sewer and completed it in a timely manner and made sure it was working properly. They accept zelle , which made it easy to pay and now we're happy campers. Thanks Ricky & Daniel .

Pretty terrible experience. I had a backup in my basement so I called Captain rooter out. After walking around they told me they recommended to hydrojet the line to clear it and then stick a camera in the pipes to see what was going on.
Quoted me $1300 because there was no cleanout (WRONG). I showed them the cleanout and now the price became $900. They took a look into the cleanout and dropped their flashlight which became stuck as well. Refused to get it out and never responded again.

Tim was wonderful! Patient and kind, yet also quick-moving and respectful of time. He's refreshingly nice and a great listener for what you're trying to accomplish. His work was topnotch itself, jumping from project to project in my home flawlessly with expertise -- (i.e. fixing closet doors, painting, helping with light fixtures) asking if I needed anything else frequently along the way! I would highly recommend him for various handyman needs.

Highly recommend Gary at Plumbing Pros. Because I'm a new homeowner, I went with Plumbing Pros because their drain cleaning included a camera inspection. Boy am I thankful I got the camera inspection done. Being able to visually inspect the clog and entire drain line was extremely reassuring. They diagnosed, fixed the problem and were extremely clean during the entire process. Gary actually came back a 2nd day to confirm everything was in good order. I will be contacting Plumbing Pros again for any plumbing problems I have. Great company

Had a really great experience with 24/7. We had a (non emergency) shower cartridge change. They were super responsive to my quote request, gave us a very competitive rate, and came promptly on times they offered to come that same day.
After having other several bad plumbing experiences, we've felt taken advantage of by other plumbers. We're very happy with our experience with 24/7 and will gladly give them our business again.

Our old water softener failed after so many years. We called different contractors and Arco was able to come out soon and at a reasonable price. They replaced the water softener and left our home clean too. Thank you. If we have other issues with our plumbing, we will be back for sure.

Early Sunday morning my only toilet would not flush. It's almost impossible to find a plumber on Sunday. If you do, they charge outrageous fees. Luckily
I came across the Good Guys. Dominick came right out & quickly found out it was not an easy fix since it is an old house with very old pipes. The next day a he came out & started the project. Later the rest of the crew came out to help. They worked all day & night finishing the major job. They did a great clean up & was very fair & reasonable. They worked very hard on an extremely tough job in a limited space. If you want a job well done at a fair price, I extremely recommend the Good Guys.

Hands down THE worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Had an issue with the work that was done, called 3 times to speak with someone and kept getting pushed off. Our business used to refer them tons of clients but I will be sure to deter clients from using them at all costs.

Kennedy Plumbing was even worse. Danny replaced two toilets. He assumed that because I am elderly and disabled, I would not notice that he switched the fifty dollar seats that came with the toilets with $15 seats that don't even fit. What is it about plumbers that they want to rip off the disabled and why did Szabo and Kennedy both think I was so stupid? Not that it matters, but I'm a college professor with a PhD from Notre Dame. I am appalled thinking how often these rip-off artists must succeed.
