I hired Roy to cut down a very large dead pine tree.  I got one additional quote and Roy's was much cheaper.  This company did a fantastic job.  Showed up on time, did a very excellent job for a very reasonable price.  I highly recommend this company for tree removal.

Oh my goodness, I am so happy I reached out to Veteran Family Tree service. I had planned on getting multiple quotes but as soon as Gabriel came out I knew they were the men for the job. I had two huge, nasty trees in my backyard that I swear were put there by Satan's Landscaper (*not a real company) because all they produced were spikey thorns and messy pollen. I was ashamed of how nasty the backyard was, but these guys don't judge - they just show up and do an incredible job. They also leave ZERO mess behind. In fact, I think they even cleaned up some messes that weren't part of the tree job. Their prices are reasonable and their schedule flexible. If you have a tree you hate, don't wait - the sooner you call these guys the sooner you can start getting your yard back! Thanks Gabriel, thanks Lazarus, and everyone else who's names I didn't catch! I hope the boss takes you to a great lunch because you've certainly earned it today because my yard/trees were no wee saplings.

I requested a few quotes via Yelp. Kudos to this company for coming out and giving me a quote in person. This company seems very knowledgeable and the price was high but not the highest. The only reason I did not move forward with this company was the way I was dismissed as a woman customer. Things were going fine until I was told by the sales person on what I should have my husband buy at Home Depot and what my husband can do to reassure the stump is really dead and what my husband can do to maintain the area. Instead, I simply told my husband that we were going with a different company.

Very knowledgeable guys and did a good job. Showed up and rang door bell at 6am, without calling first though.

I had a tree fall and I contacted Core Tree Service and they came out the same day and gave me an estimate and then showed up the next day and got it out.  They also thinned it out so hopefully it won't fall over.  They did great work and the cost was reasonable.  They communicate with you prior, during and after.  Really professional and great customer service.

These guys really are next level. They gave me an unbelievable quote and help me with a tree that's been haunting me for months I'm attaching the video and some photos they even made some cool furniture as keepsakes and although it's difficult sometimes to put up with the chainsaw buzzing sound incessantly the tree had to be cut down and these guys were incredibly knowledgeable helpful and went out of their way to make the experience Manageable and we didn't even have to shut off the power. The owner of the company is extremely knowledgeable and provided tons of insight and educated me on trees and forestry. They have all their own equipment where many other people I tried to hire didnt. They were very diligent and hard-working and got the job done. Mostly done in a day but they have to come back and finish some cleanup and cutting but did an amazing amount of work and

Although Arborist John Shipp verbally bid the tree trimming service to use a lift bucket truck, Erik and Ricardo were sent to my house with only a chipper.  They toiled in the heat and humidity with alacritiy on the fruit tree in the back yard and the two Chinese Elm trees in the front of the house.  They were both friendly and knowledgeable as they explained certain cuts of limbs and the shaping of the trees.  Ricardo was particularly resourceful having to use a rope and harness, in lieu of the bucket, to ascend the tree for trimming.  Their clean up of the limbs and debris was excellent.  Good work, Erik and Ricardo.

I have now used Innovation Tree Care 3 times and I have never even considered using another company. These guys are QUICK. 2 of them finished a full front and back yard weed spray and trimmed and cleaned up TEN palm trees (4 of them super tall ones) and they finished in less than an hour and a half. They have always showed up on time, been very communicative, and have extremely fair prices.

Needed a few small palm trees removed and one large one trimmed, these folks came out the next day and did a great job for a very reasonable price. We will be using them again and really appreciate their help! $100 less than every other quote

This company of professionals is absolutely professional and meticulous in their work.  I live in Terravita in north Scottsdale, famous for their strict rules about everything.  Ed and his crew were conscientious and thorough, but worked hard to accommodate everything I wanted to get accomplished to clean up the tree detritus and fire hazards in the area.  They are a delightful group of people who work hard and work well together.  I could not believe how reasonable their charges were.  A fair company in today's gouging market!

Does not reply or return phone calls. Communication is lacking. Better to take business elsewhere.

Recently used them to have two trees removed.  Drew and his company were amazing.  Professional, thorough, and very well priced.  Highly recommend if you need tree removal.

Drew is fantastic!! He gave us honest information, shared his knowledge of how to care for our trees moving forward and even went above and beyond to physically show us the best way to water our trees...and all this was done during the consultation!! Quotes were sent right away for various services we discussed at extremely reasonable prices. We decided to go with Murphy's Trees right away because of his impeccable service during the consultation. Upon the day of service, Drew arrived and got straight to work. Again, he went above and beyond in his service. He even cleaned up our yard's leaves on the ground to be kind at no extra cost. He was efficient, friendly and followed COVID guidelines the entire time. We will use this business time and again for our tree needs. He even wrote instructions down for us in how to care for our trees moving forward. He is the best. We will recommend him to everyone!!

Last Friday, I decided I couldn't wait to have a couple date palms trimmed. My normal tree guy was letting me down, so i found Jose's company here on Yelp.

Jose answered his phone and requested that I send pictures. He viewed the pic's and responded. After a quick price negotiation, we agreed and he said his crew would appear in 20 minutes. Voila,.....they appeared. Within 4 hours of contact,......job done!

Jose's son, Joseph, arrived later and helped with the job. There were two tree climbers, and the job progressed with dispatch. They did 2 date palms, and a couple of fan palms. These are big trees, and there was a lot of debris that needed to be stacked in the street for the city's bulk pickup. I was consulted, and we left just as many frawns at the top as I wanted.

Good communication, fair price, sufficient clean-up, knowledgeable assistance. Pretty darn good first time experience. I've kept the contact info, and may well seek out their help again!

This is a top-notch company!  I started using John Bora, the owner, about ten years ago, and I have never been disappointed.  John is friendly, professional, and VERY knowledgeable about trees.

Today Jason provided insect treatment and deep fertilization for a tree that I very much want to save.  Jason was super friendly and provided excellent customer service.  He was so much fun, I may just have to plant another tree!

hayward is not an arborist...he is a tree hacker that says 1 thing & does another. i had the worst experience with hayward tree service. he quoted me price to trim my olive trees so no pollination or olives. a complete hack job which didn't complete what he agreed to do .... then wanted to charge me extra to finish. avoid hayward tree service - the worst in the tree business.
hire a reputable arborist!!!

Wow!  I was so impressed with the surgical precision that Hayward removed this 50 foot Sissoo tree from my backyard.  Three or four cuts removed by a crane to a crew that cut it into smaller pieces for the chipper.  Larger trunk pieces into a waiting trunk and then they stumped it down the ground.  Cleaned up nicely and were reasonably priced!  Thank you guys!

I need three medium size palm trees removed, saw their ad and called for a quote, set up an appointment for four days later with a three hour window. Doorbell rings and it takes me about two minutes to get to the door, as I happened to be on the other side of the house, upstairs, and had to corral dogs. And it's not like I got a courtesy call 30 minutes ahead of time like most other places. Anyway, I get to the door (again, two minutes max) and the guy is climbing back into his car. So I stand on my front porch for another solid minute until he finally glances over as he's started the car and is about to drive away. I raise my arms in kind of a WTH gesture. He climbs back out of his car, no apology or explanation, and it goes downhill from there. Rude, curt responses to questions, as if I was somehow wasting his time. All verbal quotes, nothing offered in writing, and it seemed like he couldn't get out fast enough even though I'm asking about things like lead times as I'm ready to move forward.  Disturbingly, he did pause long enough to take some pictures of some vehicles in my backyard and asked me a couple of questions about them (without asking and like they were any of his business anyway). No handshake, thanks, or anything like that upon leaving. Honestly I should have just let him drive away to begin with. Solid pass, as there are plenty of other reputable tree services minus the attitude.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Bryan and his team. First, they were quick to respond and communicated efficiently. I knew when they were on their way to both locations and they were some of the nicest guys you'll ever work with. Then, they took great care of my things during the move and the things they were moving were not easy. Very big bulky couch/chairs. I just moved here, and already know that when I move next, I will be contacting Bryan and his team. Thank you again!!

My husband and I had a horrible weed problem in our yard. It was in terrible shape. We were contacted promptly by Alex from Velasco when I inquired about a quote for the job. He came over the same day and gave us a thorough, free consultation. I was impressed by his quick response and the description he gave about exactly what he could do to improve our yard. His quote was very reasonable as well. Today, his team came out and did a wonderful job on clearing the weeds/grass patches in our yard and spraying any stragglers for weed prevention. It looks like a new yard! I was also impressed that they even netted our pool to get rid of the debris from the blower. Excellent customer service! The workers were very polite.
