Excellent work by Roy's Trees!  We had to remove a ton of bushes and 3 mature trees in preparation for an in-ground pool.  They gave us a GREAT price, and we had received a couple of other bids.  Everything was done as agreed upon and they cleaned up afterwards.  I will be recommending them to all of our friends and neighbors!

Andy and Steve and their crew did an AMAZING job cutting down our huge Mesquite and Palo Verde trees!!  It was fascinating watching them work and they made a very dangerous job look easy!  They were so thorough, thoughtful and respectful!  We are so happy we found Veteran Family Tree Service!!!

Thanks to Ronnie and his team, they did an amazing job removing my dead palm trees in my backyard. They worked fast & did a great job in cleaning up. On the side of my house there was a dead tree stump that they removed on their own. They just recognized that it needed to go. I actually wanted it gone but forgot to even ask them about it! Thank you for taking care of that! Oh and the first team that came to just cut the trees were also amazing! For a very hot summer day & working outdoors, they still had a very good attitude.

Their arborist team is the most knowledgeable and capable in the valley :) Everybody has tons of experience and knows everything about all the plants.

Took down a dangerous 60 foot tree right by the home. Shaped up amazingly, a few trees that have been mutilated by other services.

The trees are ready for the monsoon now.

Core Tree Service was at my home today to remove 3 trees. I tried several times to get a lower estimate. The estimate was 1200. I agreed to it because the largest tree was pushed up against my house. I had no choice. I saw the good reviews on here and figured this is the way to go. I thought about it over this past weekend and thought if I cut down the smallest tree then maybe he'd cut some of the price off. I asked him today when they began working if he'd shave some of the cost off because I cut down one of the trees myself. He said no. Why am I being charged still to cut down 3 trees when only 2 were left for you? Blew my mind. Especially when I gave you the last of my savings. I'm extremely upset over this detail. However the crew was great and did a good job. I tried to save time and money and got screwed. EDIT: was never quoted 1800...

Excellent job and nice people to work with, went through a lot of trouble to bring down a huge tree and grind the stump that was complicated by two metal posts that were completely embedded in the tree, put there 50 years ago when the tree was planted. Very reasonable cost, others were close but wanted to leave the downed tree for me to remove. Will definitely call them back to remove another stump.

If I could leave no stars I would. I have had an open complaint with Moon Valley since June. They refuse to address my concerns. I filed with the BBB and the representative from MV has lied to the BBB that they have been in contact with me and that I signed off on service calls. I was not at home both times a crew was sent out. The second crew was sent out because the sales person was NOT happy with the job when she drove down my street. I contacted 4 individuals within the organization and not one person has contacted me back. My complaint stemmed from the fact that they billed for services not provided. I agreed to pay for what was done..but not what wasn't. Beware..they take your money upfront and proclaim satisfaction guaranteed but if you have issue with work done...it's crickets. Many other nurseries out there that deserve your business over MV.

UPDATE: MV continues to provide false information to the BBB about this dispute. They have stated that I was present with all work and signed off on it. Easily disproven by my employment records. Besides poor customer service, add dishonest to the list. I will say that this may just be dishonesty of the one employee responding on behalf of the company to the BBB, but their actions are determining the companies reputation.

Misael tree service was not only fast & responsive they also did an amazing job cleaning up the yard at our first house & Maintence service at our 2nd house. Their pricing is extremely fair compared to other in the area. We will be using them moving forward for all our houses. They are the best in the valley

Missal was very communicative and even when our location was not on GPS he persevered until he got to the property. He was reasonable and reliable. He was able to get the job done ASAP. I will for sure use his services again.

This company of professionals is absolutely professional and meticulous in their work.  I live in Terravita in north Scottsdale, famous for their strict rules about everything.  Ed and his crew were conscientious and thorough, but worked hard to accommodate everything I wanted to get accomplished to clean up the tree detritus and fire hazards in the area.  They are a delightful group of people who work hard and work well together.  I could not believe how reasonable their charges were.  A fair company in today's gouging market!

Ed and his team were great! We were trying to find someone locally who knew how to trim our trees. (We had trees that hadn't been trimmed in over 11 years.) Ed was here a few days after I called AZ Desert Tree Care, gave us a quote, and was back in a few days to do the work. Our property looks so good now! His crew did a great job at cleaning everything up. We would highly recommend AZ Desert Tree Care!

Hands down the best and most reliable tree service in the business! I can't say enough good things about them. We needed someone to remove our giant pine tree this weekend before our irrigation on Monday and even though they were booked two weeks out, Joe the owner was able to work some magic and his team and him were out to me within a day. I called several places for estimates and Joe was the most communicative, affordable, efficient and kind! His guys were QUICK and cleaned as they went. I was blown away at how quickly they were able to do it all. I had questions about making sure the stump was ground low enough that grass could grow over it and he exceeded expectations. Our neighbors were so impressed they went ahead and scheduled with him as well. You will not be disappointed with Bassett Tree Service!

I contacted Stephen for a quote to thin and trim our sissoo tree, he got back to me within the hour. He let me know that they would be able to take care of everything the very next day!

He communicated very well, let me know when they were on their way. It was all finished in a hour or so! They worked very efficiently and cleaned everything up great.

I will certainly be using them moving forward for yearly maintenance.

Talked to Jose on the phone scheduled a time to come and give me an estimate. He sent his son and we agreed on a price and he wrote me an agreement for $700. They cut off a limb and it fell and did damage to my house at which point the son called his dad, Jose, and he came out and said he doesn't work for free and that if I wanted him to finish the NEW PRICE was $1500! MORE THAN DOUBLE. I said we had a written agreement for $700 and that was all I was going to pay.

I tried to reason with him and asked him if he had finished the job and I told him I was only going to pay him half of what we had agreed on what would he say. He kept having to use his son as a translator and we were getting no where.

He said, We are leaving, and didn't pick anything up and even left a huge limb that they had already cut hanging in the tree 30 feet up which could fall and due damage to my fence or someone standing under the tree. I cleaned up everything he left on the ground but I still have to hire someone to come and finish the job as well as paying a contractor to have the damage done to my house repaired. I'm guessing that will be around $1200 to 1500.

As far as recommending this business, proceed at your own risk. I don't think they are insured because they did not offer to have the damage repaired or give me their insurance information. That's why he wanted to charge me more to pay to fix the damage they had caused. When I have a written agreement I expect to pay that not double what we agreed on. That is why you have them come out and give you a price in writing so there are no issues later. He did not keep his word, damaged my property, and then just left. If you use ANYONE, ask if they have insurance and MAKE SURE YOU GET IT IN WRITING TO PROTECT YOURSELF.

I researched many gardners/landscapers on Yelp and settled on Valentin.  I'm so happy I did!  All of the reviews are correct....he does EXCELLENT work and is reasonably priced.  He responds quickly and fits you into his schedule in a timely manner.  I will definitely use him again as needed.  Thank you!

I don't normally write reviews but had to in this case. Fabulous from start to finish! Swift , free estimate, no pressure, excellent ofc follow up, great ease of scheduling. Jon Bora and his team are the best- they professionally trimmed our very overgrown and twisted front palo brea tree and backyard tangled Chilean mesquite without butchering them. Trees look amazing and just in time before the big storms- certainly we would have lost at least one tree with likely property damage had they not trimmed them so expertly. Yard areas completely cleaned up when finished, and neighbors' yards cleaned up, too.

Wow!  I was so impressed with the surgical precision that Hayward removed this 50 foot Sissoo tree from my backyard.  Three or four cuts removed by a crane to a crew that cut it into smaller pieces for the chipper.  Larger trunk pieces into a waiting trunk and then they stumped it down the ground.  Cleaned up nicely and were reasonably priced!  Thank you guys!

The price was fair, and they came when they said they would, and they came back as promised to finish what could not be done that day.  Did good job removing one tree, but they shaped up and trimmed my orange too, and I think they cut too much.  Now it has very little fruit.  Hopeful this will resolve itself next season.  Sad panda.  They are the experts, if cutting off too much was going to shock my tree I wish they would have at least warned me.  Updated:  The tree has recovered nicely and I am very happy now!

Bryan arrived early , was very professional, and I thought the price was reasonable

I hired them to do some soil injections, trim some trees, and provide some fertilizer. They trimmed the trees fine but left before doing the rest (I have cameras in the front and back yard).

I called and they explained that the tech got had to leave but they'd come back the next day. The tech came, dropped off the product and left. When I called to ask about the injections, they told me the tech didn't realize he had more to do and he would come back. It sure started to seem like the $1000 soil injections were just a sham service.

Lastly, it happened another time. Tech came for 5 minutes and left. Emailed the company and called multiple times. Said a supervisor would come out, but then stopped responding. Wouldn't recommend.
