Had a gas line issue and needed to get a section of pipe replaced quickly. Luckily I found Moody Plumbing as they did an incredible job. Not only were they very fairly priced, they came out quickly and were very professional. The work they did looks great and they even came out same day.

Can't give these guys enough praise and it was great to find honest and reasonable plumbers who clearly know their stuff. I would strongly encourage you to at least give them a call if you need plumbing work done.

All I can say is, if you are looking for a amazing reliable plumbing service you can't go wrong them. They were extremely professional. I was trying to figure out the issue with my plumber for years. Other plumbers could not figure it out. Only seemed like that they were only interested in making a quick buck. But A Solution came out figure out my issue explained everything to me and if I had any questions they answered them. Very cost effective and efficient. You can't go wring with A Solution. I found a leak in my basement and tracked it down to the kitchen sink. I reached out to Reeg for a repair. I spoke with Chris (who is VERY friendly). After sending a photo, he booked for the next day as the job should only take an hour or two. I was stoked to get it resolved.

Bode was assigned and scheduled to arrive between 10-12am. He was running late (it happens) and Reeg called to let me know. No worries! Bode is super friendly also. After looking at the issue in person he spotted another BIGGER leak... CRAP (literally). He said he needed to get the owner out to do an estimate.

I called the following day after not hearing from them. I thought they would call me but might have been confused on that. I left a message. When they called me back the following morning their scheduler told me she could get me on the schedule for an ESTIMATE 2 weeks later! No idea how long completing the work might take... No bueno. At this point I am doing dishes in the powder room sink and dumping a bucket catching leak water several times a day to prevent a damaging basement flood.

I guess I don't understand why a 2 hour repair could be performed next day but an ESTIMATE on a big job (wouldn't they want the work?) takes TWO FREAKING WEEKS! If there had been a temporary solution offered I might have waited. It just isn't reasonable to not have a functioning kitchen sink for 3 weeks or longer.

They are nice folks but I had to go elsewhere. I wanted to hire Reeg. Maybe additional time could be allotted for estimates? ‍ Or someone in addition to the owner could be empowered to perform estimates?

I would try them again for other plumbing projects if it wasn't an urgent issue.

He was right on time the day of the work in our condo bldg.  He installed a new bath sink faucet and shower head that we had purchased. We also needed new shut off valves that he ran out to the hardware store because we didn't know what size we needed.. He did a great job and was pleasant to work with. Very happy we hired him.

Our basement flooded on a Saturday afternoon after running our washing machine, so I put out a request through yelp and Oscar responded within 5 minutes. He was there within two hours, diagnosed the problem and then came back the next morning (Sunday) to replace an ejector pump. His price was very competitive and he worked really hard to solve the problem the right way. Also, Lilly was very reassuring over the phone that they would get the problem diagnosed correctly before doing any work. Most importantly, I didn't have to wait for great service. Highly recommend Dominick! He is incredible reliable and quick to respond. He also explains everything in detail which I really appreciate. We had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday and we needed him to come out and he came out within an hour and fixed everything promptly. He is also so friendly and great with kids and dogs as a plus.

I was fortunate enough to have Patrick himself cone out to fix my show do toilet. He was able to fix the problem in under 20min. Very friendly and informative. Well definitely use him in the future

Noe saved the day as my parents kitchen sink was backing up and overflowing over the weekend. I called Noe and he picked up immediately. He asked some questions and I sent photos to help diagnose the scope of the issue remotely and determined a rough cost. Noe was very responsive over text messages and gave me confidence he understood what we were dealing with given it's an old vintage building with many units.
Once he arrived he got to work and given his planning had everything he needed to stop the clog. The clog ended up being 64 feet upstream from the sink and clearly an issue in the buildings central plumbing rather than the apartment's pipes. The job was bigger than he assumed and he was still very efficient in solving the problem and charged a very reasonable price even when he was their longer than he'd planned. Noe's experience with the quirks of old Chicago buildings in invaluable in trouble shooting and solving the problem. Noe gives a much more personal touch as a small business than the big companies will and makes himself available for your emergency on weekends if the need arises. I definitely would recommend affordable plumbing to others if they want the confidence of someone who really will think thru the problem and leverages the experience they have to solve them

I called for a simple job at 11AM on a weekday. They secretary stated they can come out immediately but they are charging overtime, you know time and a half. Would you still like our service. NO Ma'am. SCAM! SCUM! RIPOFF! STAY AWAY!

We had a leak and the issue was resolved quickly and at a fair price. The guys that came out to do the service were personable as well. We will use this Company again in the future.

I called Mr. Burris late at night when I came home from work and discovered I had no heat. First thing the next morning Mr. Burris came to my house personally. He very quickly got all of my radiator heaters/ boiler working. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He knew immediately what was wrong with my heat! I will always call Mr. Burris for any of my hearing, or plumbing in the future. While he was here he also gave me a great referral for some electrical work that I need done in my home. He went over and above and I can truly say that this has been my best home repair service that I have gotten since I moved to Chicago

Jake came out on a Saturday Labor Day weekend to help with standing in my basement. He was so friendly and professional explained everything and it turned out to be just a jammed float in our ejector. He refused to even charge the full service fee and just took a small amount of money! Blown away! Highly recommend and will definitely be calling them when we need to do the next project! The sink and garbage disposal in our kitchen have been clogging up for the past week or so. I turned to yelp for plumbing suggestions and saw that this company was highly recommended.

When Peter arrived, he diagnosed the problem and accurately determined that the issue was not within our condo but was with lines in the building. He advised me to check in with the condo association for them to fix it.

This is noteworthy because he was not just trying to get paid, but to actually help fix the problem.  When you call plumbers and similar companies, it's usually because you do not know how to resolve the issue on your own and need someone to give good advice.  

Some people take advantage of the fact that you don't know how to fix whatever issue and they try to convince you to do work that you don't actually need.  Not Peter -- he was very honest and like I said, gave accurate advice even though that would have meant not getting paid.  I appreciate people with integrity and would definitely work with Peter again.

I can always depend on Martin to do terrific handy services at our home. He's dependable and completes requested tasks in a timely manner. Also, his work is neat and clean. I highly recommend Martin!

Called Fixer to have a few items repaired. Juan arrived on time and, upon review, thought the plumbing job was beyond his scope. He completed the remaining repairs literally with a few minutes -- and the bill reflected that. Juan was considerate, thorough, and a quick worker. After he left, I rec'd a text from Fixer with 3 plumber recommendations. I chose Rocket Plumbing based solely on that recommendation. I've learned to trust their recommendations and today's was every bit as reliable.
I've relied upon Fixer several times in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
