Well, I read all these great reviews but unfortunately, I had a very different experience with Mo's work. He was hired to switch out an over the sink bathroom light. The job took less than 20 minutes and he charged $230.00, I felt it was a lot high for 20 mins of work, but I agreed. Anyway, he didn't center the light over the sink, and I was very unhappy with the result and let him know it. He got very defensive telling me that it was impossible to center the light over the sink, without moving the electrical box housing the wires, this would entail him putting a hole in the wall, patching the wall and that would cost an additional $180.00 to do and he didn't have the time that day and would have to come back when he was in the area. That brings the cost now to install to $410.00! I was so upset that after he left, with my mother's help, I removed the light from the wall and located the electrical box behind the fixture. I found that all I had to do was remove the 3 anchoring screws on the holding plate, move the holding plate over an inch to be centered over the sink, reinstall the screws in new hole, then rehang the light, to center over the sink.
The next day, though he told me that he rarely comes to my area, he wanted to come by and center the light, and make that easy $180.00. I told him I no thanks and goodbye.  I don't like feeling that I was taken advantage of, but I was.

We had a bad situation in our crawlspace with water escaping from a blown check valve. A&T came out within the hour to stop the water and replace the sump pump that was old. The line was also rodded out. The work was done timely, efficiently and professionally. We are happy with the service and highly recommend to others. Also, the company is very knowledgeable in mold and offers corrective remediation solutions.

Can't say more positive things about Joe at Moody Plumbing. He was a fraction of the price of others, very quick to respond to emails and got in and out (replacing two valves, a toilet valve and flapper and a building water shut off!) In under 40min.

Don't look anywhere else. This guy is the bomb. Customers for life here.

Wow, great service on a tricky problem.  We had sewer backup in a flood drain, flood control issue and a clog.  Reeg thoughtfully diagnosed and fixed all the issues quickly and cost effectively.   Very responsive and friendly team.  Can't say enough about Reeg, they certainly get my business and recommendation.

Reasonably priced however I requested work for a ceiling patch up job and requested that it look flat which it did not after the 1st 2 coats of spackle. The initial price included up to 2 hours of which he worked about 1-1hr15 minutes. He charged an extra hour to apply a 3rd coat. He also forgot to do touch up painting initially which he said he'd do but did a mediocre job after he came back so I will need to repaint anyways. Communication was okay. He does ask for a deposit.

Originally I was unhappy because of the cost, but I reached out and they offered to discount some other work for me if I want in the future.  To be fair, I agreed to their price and they fixed the problem same day, even if it only took 10 minutes.  Toilet still works well and they are a reliable company.  I recommend working with them and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

We just completed a 3 part plumbing  job with Mike and Brian.

We were absolutely satisfied with the outcome and will hire them again if we need a plumber.

So, this review isn't so much for the job that was done, because I ended up getting scheduled with my building's maintenance man instead, but I felt compelled to leave a comment on the customer service alone. I was mid-anxiety attack when I called Dominic about my leaky toilet and though he was unable to fit me in on that same day, he had me send him a picture of what I was looking at and then talked me through how to temporarily stop the leak. Which temporarily stopped my anxiety. And probably saved my floor and the ceiling of the person below me. For that alone, much gratitude!

Edited to add: and then came the plot twist: Dominick IS in fact my building's plumber!

So now I can speak on his service, which was quick and thorough. With great personality to boot! Aside from that time I spent almost 12 hours on 5-hour train ride (don't ask), I've never been so happy to see my toilet. All is well once again!

Patrick and his crew were on time, efficient,  thorough and personable! My toilet and bathtub were backed up due to a broken drain pipe that he had to dig a 4 feet trench along the side of the house to take care of.  I am thankful for this company's services! I will use them again for my next project.

Showed up on time, fixed all the issues with my bathroom. I won't hesitate to use him again, it's nice to know that I now have a plumber to count on

HOA asked us to have plumbing inspected for leaks. Di Foggio tech arrived promptly at the appointed time and made a thorough inspection. Provided a write up as requested by the HOA. I was very satisfied.

Crew showed up on time, were fast and thorough ! Project came in under bid and everyone from the office help on the phone to the techs that did the job were outstanding. We're customers for life now! 5 Stars!

Mr. Burris has managed the plumbing system of our family's properties for over 10 years. Mr. Burris has alot of expertise & great professionalism. It has been great doing business with him. Mr. Burris also manages the entire condominium's plumbing system.

Jake and Brandon came out extremely fast to remove and replace our well pump. He explained everything up front, and quoted me a approximate price and did the job fast and they even moved a heavy fountain that was in the way. Some others locally weren't as professional on the phone and even one came to the house in a argumentative mood. I had to send him away. Not Jake. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and won't hesitate to call him again. Excellent service/job.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If I can save a singe customer from the experience I have had over the past month! I had a pipe burst around Christmas and this service came out to defrost my pipes. Since they responded I decided to use them for a rerouting. The plumber was not only late but showed up at 7pm and stayed till midnight rerouting. The plumber had to come back several days later to finish the installation because my contractor had to redo some framing. One of the laundry valves they installed  leaked and it took the plumber several days to come out, however the valve was never replaced. After almost a week of no shows and no communication, a different plumber showed up and installed a wash tub hook up that was supposed to be done at the same time as the laundry. As he was leaving I said there is a leak and he told me he had spilled water. Pipe was still leaking about 2 hrs later I called them to come back... the plumber tried to tell me it was ground water leaking until I pointed out the leak in the cold water valve they had installed the week prior. This is how they left my new drywall.... I'm praying their work holds up but am skeptical! Please save yourself the headache and heartache! Hopefully their contract holds up if there is any further issue!
*****update... as you can see by the owner's response he holds no responsibility for the people he employs. I was in contact numerous times with him and his plumbers. Many reschedules and no shows and it took me going to the BBB and my credit card company to reverse payment for services to get someone out. Another company had come out on Christmas Eve and fixed my busted pipe. His company came out on Christmas and defrosted my pipes causing one to burst while they were there and they had to fix it. I went with them after several estimates because they came out on Christmas and it was nothing but a headache and hassle to get the work done. As you can see by the photos below they do inferior work, and had to put multiple holes in my drywall to put pipes through and wrote on my walls. They did not wrap the rerouted pipes they placed and I have  to have someone now come out and fix their work. Plumbers were late and at my house till almost midnight to reroute pipes, and several other plumber's mysteriously showed up late in the evening to help this plumber finish his job, their in dependability set my contractor back a whole day waiting for their plumber to show up to finish the job he was supposed to be there for at 8am, and didn't show up till close to 2pm after multiple calls to this owner and his plumber.Believe who you want.... But again, use at your own risk. This company embellishes the extent in which they respond and perform their work. Look at some of their other online reviews and you will see similar complaints!  Just admit the mistakes and do better for the next person!

Martin is an excellent handyman and a reminder of why it's best to leave it to the professionals.

I had several pending home projects, and he completed them quickly and accurately. He even offered suggestions on where certain items should be placed.

I highly recommend this company for any home projects.

This past winter, our pipes froze so we had to cut a hole in the wall in order to access the pipes. Months went by and we kept putting off getting the hole patched. The Evanston Moms FB page had recommended Fixer so I reached out and they were able to respond quickly and with a competitive quote. They did a great job patching the hole, were very quick and quiet, offered to take off his shoes and wore a mask, and at the end of the day, the guy pointed out my walkway had both a dead bird and a dead mouse (eww) which he offered to dispose of if I could get him a bag. I told him I would take care of it but I really appreciated his kind offer and going that extra step to do something completely unrelated. The best part? I referred my sister to their services and I got a credit! I'll definitely be reaching out to them for future jobs.
