Mo is great.  He is quick to respond, and asks for a few measurements that will help speed up his process.

We had a kitchen cabinet that was coming away from the wall.  He had a plan in place and it worked perfectly.

Mo is fast, efficient, safe, and thorough.  This is my first task I brought to him, but I hope to provide him with more work in the future.

The recent cold snap caused a pipe to blow.  I woke up at 6:00 am on Dec. 27 and found water that was ankle deep throughout the entire basement.  When I called Reeg, they called back within a half hour.  They asked if I had to turn off the water to the entire house.  I answered yes since the leak was behind a wall.  I can imagine how many calls they received throughout that weekend over Christmas weekend for burst pipes.  It was obvious they were doing triage to get to the people who had no water.  Reeg was out that day to stop the leak and at least get the main water back on.  I'm letting the wall and all the rest of the basement dry out, then will call Reeg back to finish the job.  They were great.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Chicagoland handyman. I was looking for a handyman to complete a few projects in my home. The repairman that I initially spoke with over the phone was super responsive and very polite.

I was so impressed by the Yelp reviews and by the phone call that I immediately scheduled an appointment with him. After I finished setting up the service appointment we discussed the time, location, and other details. I immediately placed an order from my local hardware store and to have all the items (appliances) shipped to my home.

The day before the scheduled appointment the repairman messaged me that he made a mistake and that he was supposed to schedule my appointment for the following day. He also mentioned that I did not send him a deposit to lock in my appointment as if I lost the appointment due to not paying him a deposit. I was confused! We never discussed a deposit or a deposit amount when I spoke with the handyman over the phone. I did not see the other Yelpers reference in their post anything about Zelle quick paying their repairman for a deposit. I thought something was odd I immediately thanked him for his time and told him I would not need his company to complete the repairs!

I made a request on Yelp for quotes, they responded within minutes and we're here the same day to fix my drain. The estimate was accurate and they had everything fixed in less than half an hour. Highly recommend them! Very friendly and professional A+++

A mason jar was lodged in our garbage disposal, and in trying to get the garbage disposal off myself, was not able to reinstall it.

I called Dominick who said he could come out in a 1-hour timeframe, but would have to rely on my tools to get the job done.

Dominick arrived and took care of reinstalling our garbage disposal and also clearing out the mason jar glass that had shattered within it. He was incredibly quick and efficient with his work, completing the job in less than 45 minutes and having done the reinstallation with the limited tools that I had.

I will definitely be calling Dominick the next time I need any type of plumbing done, and cannot recommend him enough.

My kitchen sink was leaking badly right before Xmas. Quick response & instructions. He was able to fit me in before the winter storm so I had a new garbage disposal in time for all the Holiday cooking I planned. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!

HOA asked us to have plumbing inspected for leaks. Di Foggio tech arrived promptly at the appointed time and made a thorough inspection. Provided a write up as requested by the HOA. I was very satisfied.

I woke up to gas leaks this AM and was shut off by Nicor until they were repaired.  I contacted Andersen's after none of my local plumbers out here in the cornfields could had time for me.  Erin was very understanding and asked if she could have a few minutes to see if she could rearrange schedules and get someone out to me.  Within minutes, I got a call back from Erin to let me know that Gabe would be here in just a couple hours.  Gabe, very personable and a true professional who explained what he was going to do and had it knocked out in a very short time.  They have won me over and are going to be my go to from now on.  I highly recommend Andersen's.

I never received a call from your business. You failed to show for this appointment. When I contacted your business directly no follow-up was done to complete the work. My number is a Cell number and I'm always available due to the nature of my job. Like I stated I waited all day with no call from this business. I had to find another plumber that did the work after hours.

Jake was awesome!!! I called on thanksgiving expecting to get voicemail, but Jake answered in the first three rings!!! He came out promptly the next morning and had the water up and running before noon!!!! Best experience I have ever had with any home repairs. The service was awesome and Jake was very friendly. I've lived in many houses & have  had to deal with many plumbers. This particular company however is quite unique &special.Not only are they fairly priced, flexible, & reliable;they are incredibly We'll managed. What I mean by this is that the owner of the company often deals with you personally. You don't have to go through layers of people to get some  thing done. Bill the owner, Actually Calls customers back himself He is very responsive and available.If you have a problem during the day you can text him and he'll get back to you. If it's after hours & you have anything from a plumbing crisis to an EXTRA You've requested you can usually find him working late at the office taking care of details .He has  diligent employees from the skilled workers to the support staff reflecting what the company  prioritizes from the top down..You'll  often be dealing with Bill rather than  him being called in if something goes awry He's truly caring and very hands-on which only servers  to make his customers feel

I've hired Martin 3 separate times for various different jobs: appliance mount, ceiling fixture removal and patching and electrical work. I've been happy with the quality of work in all of them. He is honest, skilled, reliable, a great communicator on-site and his rates are straight-forward and reasonable.

One point of criticism: I wish he was stronger in responding to inbound service requests and follow-ups until the appointment date. He's been inconsistent about this but if you are patient enough to roll with this flaw, I believe it is worth it. To be clear, Martin has never skipped any appointments that he had confirmed with me.

I have full confidence in him and will continue to be a repeat customer. So many other corporatized handyman shops will charge you two limbs for a basic job that oftentimes give you an average outcome. With Affordable Handyman Services, I'm so glad I can give my money to a business owner who actually deserves it.

Quick: I needed to replace my overhead microwave unit in my apartment. I reached out to 8-10 different handyman services, fixer was the first to respond. They also were the first to give a quote that was responsible and didn't look the haggle.

Communicative: when fixer reaches out, they have a texting service that they communicate through and have you save in your phone. The texting service Walk's through payment, scheduling, and any changes or updates. After scheduling me a few days later a new appointment time opened up and the texting service alerted me and I made the appointment for the new time.

Professional: fixer had two people come. As soon as they checked in, I received an email/text that said the people had checked in and their estimate for job length. They best their estimated time by 30 minutes which saved me substantial dollars from the initial estimate.
