I had reached out to A Solution Sewer & Plumbing Inc. for a plumbing issue that I was having. I had found their business information on the BBB website. I highly recommend this company for any major plumbing repairs. When the plumbers come out to assess the damages, they will have all of their equipment with them. The plumbers that work for this company have good customer service. They are honest, straight to the point, and they listen to the customer. The Problem: My main home sewer line was breached and damaged by some shrubs in my front yard. My shrubs' roots were clogging my main sewer, causing my sewer water to come back into my basement. The plumbers told me that I needed to have a portion of my sewer line replace to fix the clogging issue in my front yard.

The Solution: This company had to perform an excavation in my front yard to repair the sewer line. Their treatment plan was to replace the damaged part of the sewer line. Included with the treatment, they had installed an outside cleanout valve to the main sewer line and removed and destroyed the shrubs and their roots in the yard that was damaging my sewer line. This company also coordinated with the City of Chicago by pulling city permits to perform the excavation.

Post Repair: As for my home sewer line, everything is working fine with no problems. This job took two days to repair. The first day was to unclog the line and triage the line to use my plumbing. The second day was to finish off the repair and coordinate the certification of proper sewer line replacement by the City of Chicago.

Scott came out to fix a leaky kitchen faucet. He was very pleasant, got right to work and gave me some great tips on Moen's lifetime guarantee on parts, which it turned out I didn't need. He was here and done in about 10 minutes and refused to charge me. I am a new, but now loyal, customer!! Thank you so much!

Dennis answered my call promptly and was able to come over the next day to help patch my hardwood floors after I scratched them with my drum set's pedal (get a rug, not a mat). Price was reasonable, especially for giving me some piece of mind.

Our basement flooded on a Saturday afternoon after running our washing machine, so I put out a request through yelp and Oscar responded within 5 minutes. He was there within two hours, diagnosed the problem and then came back the next morning (Sunday) to replace an ejector pump. His price was very competitive and he worked really hard to solve the problem the right way. Also, Lilly was very reassuring over the phone that they would get the problem diagnosed correctly before doing any work. Most importantly, I didn't have to wait for great service. I had a few items that needed attention. Calling a plumber is never something one wants to do, but if you call this service, you can rest easy. They do quality work and very reasonable rates.  He came on time, he did the work in a timely manner, and he was receptive to any questions. We even had an extra issue that needed attention, and he did that too and charged a discounted rate because he was already in the house.

My sewage pump was continuously running and not shutting off so I called Sinks-N-Sumps at 10:30pm because I was worried it would fail overnight. I spoke with Dominick who asked me a series of questions and had me send a picture of my pump. We spent about 30 minutes on the phone trying to debug the problem and applying simple solutions, but nothing worked. We concluded that the pump was too old and needed to be replaced so I made an appointment for the next day (Christmas Eve). The next day Dominick and Alonzo worked tirelessly for five hours to replace my pump. Several issues cropped up due to how the original builder installed the pump, but Dominick kept me informed throughout the process while educating me on how everything worked. What I appreciated most, is that there were several times when the pump was in a good-enough state and they could have left to enjoy their Christmas Eve but instead they made sure things were working perfectly before they left. I can't thank them enough for the work they put into replacing my pump and I will definitely be using them again in the future for any plumbing problems.

A-1 Patrick's Plumbing & Sewer is a company I recommend. I actually had the pleasure of working directly with the owner, Patrick. Patrick is young but he is very knowledgeable about plumbing and sewer issues. I had Patrick and his crew out to remedy a major plumbing issue that left my basement flooded that another plumbing company had left me high and dry with. Patrick scheduled my appointment right away within his schedule. He kept me updated with any schedule delays and he with another worker arrived on the day scheduled and they worked on unclogging my aged catch basin. They worked for hours first to rod the line and then to jet rod when the routine rodding didn't relieve the clog. Patrick assessed the condition of the basin while working and we found that a previous company left or may have accidentally dropped their latex gloves in the catch basin and along with its aged walls crumbling they clogged the line. Patrick got the line clear and he also unclogged a basement bathroom sink for me. He explained that the remedied catch basin clog removal may stay open for a few months or years but recommended that I plan to get the basin rebuilt. He gave me an estimate on the spot and we got the estimate in October or November of 2018 that he wrote was good for a few months to prepare and budget for to have the work done later. Also, Patrick explained to me that for work like that I would be paying for my materials which was the bricks and he explained when it was the best time to get them during the down time of the season to secure lower prices on them. I ended up taking Patrick's bid/estimate and got the new catch basin put in the following spring. I opted for the new basin over rebuild because I was getting the aged basin removed and new materials with warranty on the work that lasted a bit longer than just a rebuild. Patrick scheduled the date for the work and they arrived as promised and the work was done in 2-3 days. And we've had no more clogged catch basin and when we last had a heavy rain out basement was dry while our neighbor's basements where flooding. I don't know if the new catch basin or the check valve I have made the difference but it was comforting knowing my basement wasn't flooding. It cost me about $5k for the new catch basin. About $650 for the jet rodding before we got the new catch basin. I recommend A-1Patrick. And they travel all over Chicago.

Noe was fantastic! Super friendly and knowledgeable, and provided us with excellent service for an affordable cost. We recently purchased a new condo and the shower/tub was leaking into the ceiling of the unit below us. So grateful for Noe's help, would highly recommend!

I had a great experience with this company.  Mr. Burris was timely in that he came to my home the same day I called to request plumbing services.  He was prepared with the appropriate parts and knew exactly what to do once he got to my home based on the description of the issues I gave him over the phone.
He was an overall delight to talk to and I will definitely call him again for any plumbing or heating issues.

Jake and Brandon came out extremely fast to remove and replace our well pump. He explained everything up front, and quoted me a approximate price and did the job fast and they even moved a heavy fountain that was in the way. Some others locally weren't as professional on the phone and even one came to the house in a argumentative mood. I had to send him away. Not Jake. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and won't hesitate to call him again. Excellent service/job.

The sink and garbage disposal in our kitchen have been clogging up for the past week or so. I turned to yelp for plumbing suggestions and saw that this company was highly recommended.

When Peter arrived, he diagnosed the problem and accurately determined that the issue was not within our condo but was with lines in the building. He advised me to check in with the condo association for them to fix it.

This is noteworthy because he was not just trying to get paid, but to actually help fix the problem.  When you call plumbers and similar companies, it's usually because you do not know how to resolve the issue on your own and need someone to give good advice.  

Some people take advantage of the fact that you don't know how to fix whatever issue and they try to convince you to do work that you don't actually need.  Not Peter -- he was very honest and like I said, gave accurate advice even though that would have meant not getting paid.  I appreciate people with integrity and would definitely work with Peter again.

He does not waste time, he had to take the toilet off a few times to get the seal perfect, all of his work has held up well for over a month.

Called Fixer to have a few items repaired. Juan arrived on time and, upon review, thought the plumbing job was beyond his scope. He completed the remaining repairs literally with a few minutes -- and the bill reflected that. Juan was considerate, thorough, and a quick worker. After he left, I rec'd a text from Fixer with 3 plumber recommendations. I chose Rocket Plumbing based solely on that recommendation. I've learned to trust their recommendations and today's was every bit as reliable.
I've relied upon Fixer several times in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
