We had a very expensive valve that needed to be replaced behind our fridge.  Avant Rooters sent over their Kyle to provide a quote and details of what he would have to do to replace the valve.  He was able to get us a discount but we didn't realize how steep of a discount we were getting until we had shopped around and got quotes from other plumbers.  
Kyle was very knowledgeable, punctual, and friendly.  He was very patient with us with all the questions we asked and explained all the steps he would be taking to replace the valve.  He wore a mask and shoe covers while performing the replacement.  He also cleaned the area up after the job was done.  We would definitely call Kyle/Avant Rooter again for any plumbing jobs in the future.

Unfortunately after just moving into our home, our pipes were full of sludge and partially collapsed. We thought our pipes would have to be dug up inside our home. Fortunately the guys from All Service Plumbing were able to run new piping around the side of our home and into the mainline. They were able to fix our devastating situation in a timely manner. Our main contact was Augustine. He was extremely helpful and made sure to check up on us weeks after the project was complete. We are very thankful we found a reliable company to help us.

Very happy with the work he did in a property we rent out.  He installed a new water heater and replaced a valve in our fireplace almost as soon as we called him.  Quick and easy.  It was very easy to communicate with him in spite of the distance, through phone, text and e-mail. Fast and easy. We will definitely call him again if something else comes up.

I just had an emergency service call with Olson plumbing and I'm really not happy after the fact.  I used them because they came highly rated on Yelp but I will never use their service again.  Let me explain:  I had a slab leak in the hall behind the kitchen.  I tore the walls open myself and exposed the leak area.  I called Olson because of the review and they were on call Friday.  I shut off my water and waited.  They have a fee for leak detection which ended up being a guy looking at the hole and saying...yep...there's a leak there.  They tried to cap the pipe but couldn't stop the flow and so I shut off water till Sat.  

The plumber responding was really nice and got to work quickly.  He said if I get the work through them I can get the leak detection fee waived which was nice.  So they scheduled someone for the next day.  

2 guys showed up clean and on time.  Nice guys, but I'm not sure why they needed two people.  My sense was that one might have been in training.  They walked through the process and quoted me.  This is where I made my mistake.  I didn't get a second quote and just had them work because i needed water service restored.  

In the end they took the better part of the day to reroute one line 22 linear feet over my hallway.  The job took this long because they kept running into issues...more and more issues.  Again, really nice guys, but 7 hours is a long time for two guys to route one pipe.  In the end, they caught all the leaks that popped up, we had a good laugh and the job is done and solid.  I'm still watching it, but it all looks good.

The reason for the review is that I have since had three plumbers out here to quote me to re-pipe the house.  Each time i asked them to look at the job and tell me what it would cost...on the high side to do the work and how does the repair look to them.  Every one of them gave me a max price that was half what Olson charged for what they said looked to be a messy but adequate job.  thousands more because I didn't get a second estimate, one would expect they would send master plumbers for this price....  In addition, they all said that their 'high estimate would include drywall repair which wasn't included in this service.  They also charged me for a new pressure valve at what they said was cost that turns out to be 3x cost....so my lesson is learned.  I will always get multiple estimates and not go with the emergency guys.  The total price from Olson for one 20ft reroute was about 40% the cost of a total re-pipe for a 2,400sqft home.

To recap: the guys were nice and clean.  The work was adequate, but not stellar.  They price was outrageous.  PS.  I asked about re-piping from them and they gave me a rough estimate that was double the nearest 3 estimates...and for a whole house re-pipe that's real money.  Thousands and Thousands.

I don't doubt that the company has some good plumbers, but what I saw was average work for a very premium price.

I had a clogged kitchen sink. Made the mistake of calling another plumber (one with hundreds of five star reviews on Yelp) and they couldn't open the clean out. Their proposed solution was to make an entirely new clean out ($1400) and hydro jet ($400). Glad I got a second opinion. Mauricio and William came the next day, Mauricio did quick work of the original clean out, snaked the line, and closed the clean out all for a decent price. This is my third time using Hotline's services and they've been honest, practical, and reasonable.

I would highly recommend this company! They were very family oriented and helped solve our clogged bathtub quickly! They did a fantastic job, going above and beyond!

I've now been working with Albert for over two years hiring him for a variety of services.

I had a bad plumbing job done by one of the main companies that services the valley and thankfully Albert was able to fix everything and make it much better than before!

First I was going through a remodel.

Albert has worked on replacing shower valve, drains, water lines, installing a gas line for a dryer, installing washer/dryer hookups.

He now services our entire HOA for a property of 12 units. He's always on time reliable and gets work done in a timely manner. More importantly his pricing is always fair.

We've had a handful of emergency leaks in our building and he's always super reliable and honest about the job.

We had one emergency where a Unit was unoccupied and was leaking outside the apartment super late at night. Albert was on the scene right away to address any issues and stayed late to finish the job.

He also noticed a few other poor drains in the building that needed work and has now replaced every drain line in our building!

So many of our neighbors have used him and appreciate his services his team is very nice and honest.

If you want to support a small family business support his work! You won't regret it!

This was the best experience Ive had with a Plumber in LA thus far. I had hired plumbers before but they missed some things that were wrong under my sink, and it caused leaks. Sewerman Rooter found the problem and fixed it right away. He was quick, and  a nice guy.

I used their service to repair two things. Bathtub faucet leak & Kitchen sink drain leaks. Miguel and his partner were both on-time, professional , and got work done very quickly. They double-checked with me the finish results for both, and I was very pleased with it. I Loved that the service comes with a full year warranty. That's just an extra relief in case anything happens. Thanks guys, will call again if I need to!

Very Talented and organized Handyman, super happy with the results, very trustworthy. He was very responsive and able to give me an accurate delivery date and a good price. Out of many handymans that ive hired, I have not been satisfied with results as much as With this company, highly recommended

I called this company due to an emergency. My shower/tub wasn't draining to my surprise since I just recently had my apt building manager put Drano to clear the clog in my tub. The service was very quick and they cleared my drain from the inside (a long, thick mess of my hair were clogging it) that Drano couldn't dissolve it (so gross), I'm surprised I'm not bald yet for the amount of hair they pulled out. Thanks!

Diaz Plumbing did a great job with my leaks. They were responsive, and explained what they were doing each step of the way. They were also happy to provide me with the needed documentation.

I had a great experience with Drain EEZ. I needed my shower drain unclogged and 3 shower heads replaced. Pat answered the phone immediately, was helpful, and scheduled an appointment in a timely manner. He arrived on time, quickly and efficiently did the work, and was honest about some other problems I was having. I also felt his prices were reasonable. I would definitely use Drain EEZ again.

My experience with Mac has been positive from the first phone call!  I purchased a home with a very old (25 years old) 75-gallon, beast of a water heater that needed replacement ASAP! I closed on my house on a Friday afternoon, and by Saturday morning, Mac came and installed a brand new 75-gallon Rheem tank including hauling away the old beast! Mac and Jeremiah were so efficient!  By far, the best quote I received as well!

tl;dr 
Jay and Sam had the opportunity to convince us to complete an expensive fix to a plumbing issue, but instead took their time to find a cheap, 100% effective solution to the root issue.

These are two truly trustworthy plumbers. As I'm sure is true of anyone calling a plumber, I have zero understanding of plumbing. So if a plumber were to recommend a big, expensive fix to a scary problem, I'd have no way of knowing whether that was necessary, or whether they were just suggesting a lot of work for the sake of getting a big payday. 

After working with Jay and Sam, I know that I have found plumbers that I can trust to give me an honest and effective recommendation.

My wife and I called Jay and Sam after we discovered that the tub in our new home was causing a leak in the light fixture on the floor directly below it. This was a very scary problem. After talking with a few plumbers over the phone, all suggested that given that our tub's plumbing was hidden beneath tile, we'd likely have to tear open the ceiling on the floor below to even understand what was going on. Obviously, that would suck.

By the time Jay and Sam came over, we were 100% resigned to the idea that this would be an expensive, and messy process that would leave us with a hole in our ceiling. 

When they arrived, they were very methodical in reproducing the issue, so they could better understand how to fix it. They also continually explained that the last thing we want to do is open up your ceiling if we don't have to, which was a breath of fresh air. 

Eventually, they figured out that the light fixture leak was coming through the overflow drain in the tub. They looked closer at the problem and suggested that we try re-sealing the overflow drain, and giving it 2 days to dry and cure, to make sure that we only opened up the ceiling after exhausting all of our other options. Lo and behold, this simple, easy and cheap solution worked.

Had they told us that we needed to rip open the ceiling, we absolutely would have listened, but the fact that they did everything they could to avoid the cost and inconvenience means that we'll trust them moving forward, no matter what. They were also just plain nice and kind people. I'd recommend them to anyone for any plumbing issue.

Scott is professional, shows up when he says he will and is very reasonable and expert. There was one time that he could not fix the problem and he did not charge me. (Not because he wasn't skilled, but it was a larger building issue, not an individual plumbing issue).

Highly recommended.

Chris handled our indoor & outdoor needs knowledgeably and with a great can-do attitude. Prices were fair; he was on time all 3 occasions. I highly recommend Rocket.
