TLDR; the plumbers at Avant don't seem to know what they're doing and will try to up sell you on services you don't need. Also, don't rely on the reviews here because they called me and offered to refund me 50% for the bad experience and take down my review. (This happened to me and I compromised my journalist integrity and removed my review - they never refunded me. Sorry yelp community)

Backstory:
I called Avant Rooter to come out and do a cctv inspection of my sewer line because I had just finished construction so LADBS required a sewer line inspection. I wanted them to come out and do an inspection before I scheduled the inspector to come out in case there were any issues in my sewer. They were quick to respond and scheduled someone to come out. The first plumber wasn't able to get the camera through to the main sewer line and told me it was due to a blockage and so they had to hydro jet the pipes, so I agreed to this service and paid them for it. The plumber then came out again to run the camera and still couldn't get the camera through and said it was because there might be a crack in the main sewer line which is why the camera is going into the ground instead of through the pipes. This time he tried charging me $397/hr to go digging around my foundation to look for where the issue was which is absolutely insane!

Eventually I called another local plumber to come out. He was able to get the camera through using a string to pull the camera through the area in the pipes where there was a crack. They were able to tell me where I had a crack in my main sewer line instead of digging up everything. I was then able to contact my contractor and get the main line repaired.

I called Avant to come out again to run the CCTV camera along with the inspector because I had already paid Avant for the CCTV inspection that was never completed. The inspector and Avant both arrived to do the inspection and THEY STILL COULDN'T GET THE CCTV camera through! So I had to call and reschedule with the inspector, get my contractor to dig up the sewer line, and then Avant was able to get their camera through and finally we completed the inspection.

All in all, thanks to my local plumber and my contractor I was able to pass inspection. Avant provided the cctv camera.

We've had our kitchen sink back up as well as our laundry machine leak. We knew our main line was plugged and had another company try to fix it and failed in addition to giving us horrible customer service. Called All Service (actually texted them) today, Saturday, in the morning after my garage floor was all wet. They were at my house by 12 and not only was the gentlemen nice, professional and honest, he was efficient and hydrojetted our main drain cleaning out the disgusting black solidified grease. Reasonable pricing but the quick service made what we paid even more worth it! Thank you so much!!

James is amazing! I was looking for a handyman because my closet railing was falling apart and also my floating sink vanity was sinking a bit. He gave me a reasonable quote and was able to come take a look at it the next day. He fixed both issues quickly and I asked him to take a look at a few more things, which he happily looked at and was able to fix for me.

One of those things was a stubborn sliding door that was not sliding correctly. He even went out to buy materials and came back to re-install the mount. It was still not sliding correctly, so he came back the next morning to shave down the bottom of the door and re-mount it again. In the end, it was fixed and I am a happy customer!

We called early one morning after waking up to a pool of water on our floor. An Olson plumber came over immediately and discovered a slab leak. Things happened so fast from diagnosis to repair by these expert people. The leak caused major damage. The crew was informative, educated, patient, hard working with attitude plus. Our home is 40 + years old, so upon recommendations and some googling we asked Olson  after the repair to replace the rest our pipes with PEX pipes. They do quality work and we feel secure in this old house we love that we are leak free. The Olson team was reliable, responsive and took great care to protect our property and we were so lucky to have them take care of us.

Along with 2 clogged sinks. Saturday night our toilet clogs and Sunday morning there's no sign of it getting better. So I looked for a local plumber and Macías comes up. He Answered our call said he would take 3 hrs for him to finish another job and would head on over. Unclogged everything. Price was reasonable for a Sunday emergency. Mr. Ros Macías was very nice and informative.

Ben and Willam just left our house after installing a new faucet :-) they are GREAT! Thank you both!!!!

Mick from Right Price returned  my message immediately and said he'd be at my house between 10am and 12pm. He showed up promptly at 11am ready to go. He also diagnosed my problem over the phone and said my main line was probably stopped up and needed to be cleared. He then clearly described the 2 processes they use to clear a main line, snaking and water jetting. Water Jetting was a bit more money ($150 vs. $250) but that's what I went with.

I also told him I needed my tubs and sinks looked at as a previous plumber from a different company had told me they all needed to be cleared as well as the main line with a possible Main Line replacement, quoting me $100 each per drain. I had six total drains plus the main line which from the different company quoted a start price of $850. Mick said clearing out my Main Line would take care of all the stoppage from the other drains and Right Prices quote was only $250, $150 if I wanted to snake the main line.

After Mick  water jetted my main line he came in and inspected each of my other drains, plunged a few of them and removed debris from a few and they all drained!!! What thorough, honest, professional service!! Thanx Mick and Thank You Right Price!!

I had a great experience with Harry at Sewer Man. My fairly new shower had very little water pressure and a constant drip. He quickly figured out what was wrong and fixed it. So happy! He had a very pleasant demeanor, explained everything and gave me some tips as well. He was very quick on phone and text response, was able to come out quickly and completed the work in a very cleanly manner. Highly recommend and will definitely use him again in the future.

I can't stress enough how amazing Jay was. Not only did he respond within SECONDS of my request, but he arrives on the earlier side of his hour estimate (a true blessing) and I was still able to get to work on time.

Not only did he fix the problem, but he went into detail about the root of the issue so I know what not to do going forward. He's professional, efficient, and all around lovely to work with.

I had a garbage disposal that was no longer working properly and it was leaking, so I called Diaz Plumbing to come out and assess the situation. They were very responsive and worked with my schedule. When they came by, they told me the disposal just needed to be replaced, and quoted me a very reasonable price including actual cost of the replacement plus labor. When I indicated I was considering doing it myself instead, they didn't pressure me at all to use their services and just told me to call if I ran into problems. It seems to have gone smoothly and that won't be needed. But my positive experience and their goodwill has shot them to the top of my list of who to call next time I need plumbing services!

WOW... Gotta tell you guys that these guys are the greatest .. I was in a bind because I had a problem with my clean out stack as they called it and I called and got Pat and this guys was amazing because although he told me they weren't able to service the southside .. He walked me through what I could do to save my self some money - without me asking btw. He then told me that hey if I ran into any problems to call him and he'd walk me through the situation. You won't find many plumbers or people period nowadays like that .. If I ever were to sell my house and move north etc , I'd use this guy in a heart beat

I was referred by another tradesman to this plumber to provide routine descaling maintenance on my tankless hot water heater. On 11/20/20, we spoke on the phone. I was instructed to send photos of my water heater, which I did. I asked if my neighbor behind me had also contacted him and asked if we could get a discounted rate. Jim told me my neighbor had not called him (NOT true). I was told the regular price for this service was $175. He quoted me a discounted price because of the tradesperson's referral. I asked to schedule an appointment for service and was told I needed to wait until he got back to the office that evening. Jim texted he could come out on 1/14/21. I texted back the following morning on 12/1/20 requesting that we schedule the January 14th date, but I did not hear back from him, so I emailed. On 12/6/20, Jim emailed and said the January date was no longer available - the next date available would be 4/10/21. I emailed back on 12/7/20 requesting we lock in 4/10/21 for the service. I emailed again on 12/8/20 requesting that we lock in 4/10/21 for the service. I emailed again on 12/9/20 requesting we schedule the service. On 12/14/20, I emailed again. Jim wrote back stating, Sorry we will be unable to service your tankless we no are no longer flushing units pls call Rheem for a referral. UNBELIEVEABLE! I also came to find out the neighbor behind me had in fact called him, he provided the service for her, but he charged her a whopping $225 for a service that took less than 1 hour. Weird, since he said the regular price is $175 - I'll let you speculate why he might have charged her more than the regular price he quoted to me... It's truly despicable in my opinion. He is so unprofessional. I would never recommend his company.

Our ejector pump failed and Rescue Plumbing saved the day! Pete and Victor came quickly, diagnosed the problem, provided all of the materials we needed for our insurance and had everything fixed in no time. I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent, quick and friendly service. Called late on a Saturday, since it was not an emergency scheduled an appointment for Monday. Scotty was on time, friendly and most importantly did not try to sell service that was not needed. Would definitely recommend!

Ultimately drain cleared so going to write this off to initial frustration

Owner has been highly professional

Only major rec. is that workers more diligent in putting down tarps to work on and clean up

Initially the service seem to be a high-quality responsive service

On the first round of repairs things were left messy and unfinished and we had to clean up

on the second visit they double charged us for the exact same process on a sink clog with no results

Our overall cost was in excess of $700 to simply clear out blocked drains

We were told on the second visit for the blocked drain they were bringing a camera and a special rotor

They never did that and the extremely slow process by the was it disappointing and infuriating with items being forgotten trips up and down the elevator nothing brought all at once

We were not given what we were represented as being given and would not recommend this company again
