Emergency plumbing installed our toilets in three of our bathrooms. They even pointed out things to us we hadn't noticed about a pipe that had been leaking which was so helpful! We were so pleased with this experience that we asked them to come back to cap pipes in our basement. Very reasonable price and great on timing.  Very friendly!

Charge me $380 Ron out the basement it only last for four months and I had the same problem came back out here I wanted to charge me another $250 do the same thing again  do not guarantee they work

Just had our water heaters go out in the home we bought last year ( water heaters were only 6 years old and one exploded)... I called excel last week and they were responsive and quickly came over.. We have a large home so we needed replacement  water heaters that could handle 6 bathrooms/ two laundry rooms...  They also noticed that our sump pump had been malfunctioning and gave us a quote for it...  The service was fabulous, price was slightly higher than the other quotes I got but their team was the most skilled ..

Very responsive, diligent and even cleaned up after himself. Jose was great. After not hearing back from a different plumber I've used before (funny, he still hasn't called me back...) I was thrilled with how fast they got out to us! Our situation wasn't clear cut and when he got into the job needed a second trip to the store.

Overall would definitely recommend to a friend!

Thompson is the best. First off they answer the phone and show up on time.  I had a leak in a copper pipe in the basement that was handled quickly and professionally.  One outfit quoted my 5 hours labor charge for the repair.  The Thompson plumber fixed it properly in 45 minutes.  They will be the one I call if I ever have any other plumbing issues.

I have been impressed from his professional demeanor, quick responses, on time arrival, honest assessment, and to help us make this more cost effective he volunteered some discount promotions, we didn't know were available, thus saving us additional money on the overall repair costs.

Plumbers tend to be one of the most dreaded repairs for our household. Keeley's Plumbing made me happily surprised.
Pre-appointment:  He responded very quickly to our request for a quote. After reviewing some pictures he gave a very reasonable and fair market quote.
He was available to complete the job within an acceptable time frame. We didn't have an immediate emergency (however it's darn inconvenient to turn on and off your kitchen water valve whenever you need to use kitchen sink) and some of his competitors were 2 weeks out.

On-site: He arrived within the agreed upon time frame and he called after evaluating his first appointment of the day with a more specific arrival time. On arrival he was genial, professional, and reassessed the situation.
He discovered something that would have been a much bigger problem under the dishwasher. This could have resulted in cabinet and hard wood floor damage had he not thought to check there.
In addition to the under dishwasher catch, he was very knowledgeable regarding the quality of products currently in the market place. Due to his knowledge he was able to fix versus replace one of the bathroom faucets. We had the new faucet on hand, and a previous eval advised us it was not fixable. Had this individual not been honest then we would not have known it was a fairly simple adjustment.
Then when everything was said and done he cleaned up after himself. No dust, grime, or trace that he replaced 3 joints under the sink, dishwasher connections, the main kitchen faucet, a bathroom faucet, and the plumbing mess was gone. Well done!!!!

Body Plumbing did  our City of Chicago Backflow Device testing for our house (we have a home sprinkler system).  He came in about half the price of a few other places we called.  He was on time, very nice and professional and did all the paperwork.  Highly recommended, great experience.

Needed to find a new Backflow inspection company for our home - as our previous vendor chose to shoot up prices beyond our budget.
I was very pleased to have discovered Chicago Backflow.
People I dealt with like Nick, Tiffany, Jessica - and our technician Alan are all superb.  I get the sense this company must be managed very well, because everyone has a very nice attitude and exudes warmth.
Alan showed up right on time at 7am (even with snow falling) and was efficient and had a very kind demeanor.
Price was appropriate.

Make sure to get a written quote else they will say something on phone but call with more charges. I was very unhappy. I hired to get a two way clearout and while servicing that they said I should get some more thing later which would cost $280 more but they went and charged $514 instead.

In the course of six months after buying our house, we had two separate basement floods due to Chicago city sewer back-ups during heavy thunderstorms. We knew we needed to do something, otherwise this would continue happening and ruining our basement each time. We took a chance on North Coast after reading a number of positive reviews of them online. Eric, the owner, came to the house to offer a free inspection of our entire sewer line. He was very thorough, looking in our catch basin and all throughout the pipes in the basement. He also took the time to run water throughout the house to see if he could determine where the drainage problem/backup might be. He determined that a flood control system was the end-all-be-all solution that would prevent any future sewer back-ups, BUT! He most definitely did not aggressively sell me. He answered all my novice questions about plumbing and sewer systems, and he even provided me with a printed diagram of how the flood control system would work. He was ready and willing to rod out the system right there on the spot, but he wanted me to be comfortable with whatever decision we make, whether it was to do nothing, to rod out the system, or to install a flood control system (which also includes rodding and camera exploration). We opted for the flood control system.

The entire project took only one day, which I found incredible. North Coast takes care of pulling all necessary permits through the city, and they take care of the city inspection after the work is complete. The crew was very courteous and friendly all day. Tom, their electrician, was very thoughtful for how he ran power from our circuit box in the back of the house to the front yard where the flood control system was installed. He was able to run power through a spare conduit pipe he found in a section of cut-out drywall in the basement. They were very thoughtful about our yard and all of our neighbors' yards too, putting down sections of plywood on which the excavator machine and dump truck could drive for digging the hole for the system. They arrived at 8am, and they were pouring concrete to replace my front walkway by 5pm and on their way by 5:30. I would hire North Coast again in a heartbeat to tackle any sewer or plumbing issue at my house.

Just called Ed last night with a kitchen drain problem, he came out this morning and had my sink cleared out and functioning great within an hour. A fair price and great, timely service. Highly recommended.

Amazing service! We've had annoyingly slow hot water in our shower for the last three years. Then we learned about Pressure Pro and gave them a call. In 20 minutes our hot water was transformed from a trickle to abundance. The difference is simply amazing. Our only regret is that we didn't find out about PP years ago. I was in a pickle! I had a leak and my bro-in-aw the plumber was out of town!  I had a leak in the supply valve for the whole house, a fixture that looked original to my 1920s era bungalow.  Every time I had to shut off the water to the whole house - because many of the fixtures do not have individual shut-offs - I crossed my fingers when I turned it back on.  Well the last time my luck ran out.  I came downstairs in my stocking feet and found the (new) wet carpeting soaked.  I had a leak.  Lacking my BILs support, I turned to Yelp and found a good review for JSR plumbing.  I called the number figuring Id be leaving a message while my carpeting moldered, but Jeff picked up.  I described the situation and he agreed to come over.  Jeff came over, tried to tighten things up but no dice.  He wound up figuring how to replace the whole leaky valve and was patient while I had to dick around with my town's permitting process.  Short story - no more leak.  Jeff apologized about the price but I disagreed (remember my BIL is a plumber) and countered that not only was the problem fixed but mucho anxiety alleviated when I have to turn the damn water off in the future.  

You wont go wrong with JSR plumbing.  And they will help you sleep at night.

I've had Szabo Plumbing out to my house three times in the past year all for different plumbing issues.  I can't say enough about the great work that they do.  They are always on time, professional and always work with a smile.  My last issue was resolved by Zakk and Kasey working as a team to quickly get the problem identified and repaired.  This is the best plumbing company in the area and I would not hesitate to use them again.

I set up an appointment yesterday to have my bathtub drain unclogged.  I was told a plumber would call me in the morning to let me know when they would be coming over, between 8-10am.  They called at 9.  I didn't hear my phone ring, so they left a message saying it was a courtesy call to let me know they are on the way.  Nobody had arrived by 10:20, so I called back.  He said we didn't come over because you didn't answer your phone.  I let him know that the reason I didn't call back was because he said he was on his way.  He said, oh, must have been miscommunication.  It wasn't miscommunication.  He said one thing and did another.  The voice mail I saved clearly says he's on his way.   He asked if I still wanted them to come over, but he couldn't tell me when that would be.  He just said sometime this afternoon.   Needless to say, I went with another company.  I don't know the quality of work they do, but this was not a good sign of a well-run company.  If you value your time, go with another company!

Came within time frame (it was an emergency call after 8pm) and was able to fix problem on the spot. Will use them again.

After receiving the recommendation from another resident in my building I called J Blanton to service my leaking kitchen hot water pipe.  The office staff was very friendly and helpful.  They called and updated me on when to except the plumber to arrive for both visits.  Jake was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly to work with.  I will be calling J Blanton for future jobs.
