After calling around to some other landscapers, I decided to give Nathan a call back and another chance. I wouldn't have blamed him if he told me to pound sand, but he was professional and we started over.

To be honest I didn't really have any good ideas about how this front yard should look, but the ideas I did have were carried out and implemented with skill. I was worried about the border pavers and having them move around over time, but they were set in a cement footer and I'm confident they will not move.

For Nathan, the lines of the drip line could have been much straighter. I'm not sure what's customary, but I would use 90 degree connectors at the corners to avoid the large radius that makes it hard to find the line.

In any case, it's done. Trees are in, shrubs are in and it seems that Roundup will be a forever part of my life.

Hired Valentin and his crew for an acre's work of yard clean up and shrub trimming, he and his crew did an excellent job, although a little bit more expensive then some other quotes his honest professionalism and the thorough work they did was absolutely worth it definitely will use their services again

Envision Landscape did an awesome job on our backyard pavers. They replaced our patio post that had rotted, rerouted our sprinkler system to accommodate the new design. The new pavers look fantastic. Would highly recommend this company. Rafa is very responsive via text with any questions.

I did tell you and Ben that I did not like the finish of the concrete and you both blew me off about it. I also asked if the drainage is going to be done properly and as you can see it is not. I also reached out about the water issue and got no response on that. i know there were some changes, but most were an idea Ben had and said it would look better. I also had to have someone else plant the plants for a warranty. I made the change to put the wall on top of the pavers to help your guys not have to make so many cuts. I also wanted the Grass walkway in the front curved, but Ben said it was easier to do a straight one, so I agreed. There was a lot give and take on the job.

Removed my tree.  They were fast, communicated well, and had a better price than any other company.  Thank you Velasco!

I just wanted to update my original review.  After writing about my frustration regarding service being performed at my property without my consent, Ryan, the owner, called me to speak about my experience.  He was cordial and professional, and sincerely wanted to make things right and learn about what went wrong.  He explained that there was a scheduling blunder that led to my experience and he squarely took the blame.  I found this to be a very stand-up thing to do.  The work they did on the weeds in our gardens is fantastic, and I let him know about that.  I will certainly be continuing using their services again - I can't really say I'd feel the same if he hadn't personally reached out to me.

I reached out for a quote through Yelp and he was quick to respond, came out to my house the same day to give an estimate. Fair price and was on time for the job. He also did a great job trimming our citrus and palm trees. Highly recommend.

Needed an irrigation valve replaced and some leaks fixed, bushes trimmed.  I asked Sam to come at 7:30 in the morning.  He was there right on time, with an associate, was done with everything in 45 minutes, with complete cleanup after work was completed.  Great service.

Was really excited to get a quick response with appointment to come out and look at the property for a quote. Then they never showed up and didn't respond to my follow-up message asking if someone was still coming when no one showed. It was really odd and quite unprofessional.

Greenheart Landscapes did a fantastic job on our small outdoor space!  Irene was very knowledgeable and worked with us every step of the way.

The crew was great, did amazing work and completed the project quickly.  I would definitely recommend them to friends as they did quality work.

I was having trouble keeping grass growing in my back yard. Then I thought about it I'm getting older and don't always have time to cut the grass and I'm wasting water as half of the yard was dirt/mud when wet. My wife is allergic to grass and the dog was dragging mud in the house. All these reasons are why I made the decision to have artificial grass put in instead. I called a couple places and got no answer. One place returned my call two days after I spoke with Turf Monsters of AZ. I set an appointment for a free estimate. Their representative Ryan came out on a Saturday when they are not even open to speak with me and work on an estimate. I scheduled for installation and as it happened they were able to come to install turf a week earlier than originally planned. While installation was going on Ryan checked in to make sure all was going right. When they finished the installation turned out better than even Ryan himself expected. They had done some little extras that made such a difference from being a good looking lawn to a fantastic lawn that I could not have imagined.

Thank you for making my front and back yard shine again! Appreciate you're response time once I reached out for a quote. I was so pleased with the work that you guys did and then you wowed me when you cleaned the debris out of the pool! Thank you!

I contacted Green Valley via Yelp on Sunday to take care of a large downed limb and to do some cleanup around the same tree. I got a reply saying he would be there at 5pm to give me a quote. By 5:30, he hadn't shown up or messaged or anything, and it was starting to rain and blow. It is kind of hard to do a quote in those weather conditions, so I messaged him to see if he wanted to do it the next day. (If he had been there by 5:00 like he said, he would have missed the bad weather).  He asked me how early I could be available the next day, and I said 7:00 am. He replied that he would be there at 7am to give me a quote. By 8:00 am he hadn't shown up, no call or messages, so I headed in to work. He arrived at my house after 9:30am, and since I was already gone, my father-in-law had to give him the rundown of what I wanted done. He gave us a quote, we agreed, and he scheduled the work to be done at 1:00pm the next day.

The next day, I get home for lunch around noon and the crew is onsite and started. So they actually showed up early, which was great.  When they finished, we had to call in to make the payment. The lady we spoke to wasn't ready or able to take the payment, so she called us back later. Later, as we are about to make the payment, we find out they charge an 8% fee to use a credit card. This seems really high, and our original bill was $450, so it adds up quite a bit. This fee is also not advertised on their site anywhere. We asked if the fee could be waived, and we were told that the credit card processor they use charges them that much. I've worked in point-of-sale information technology and I can't say I've ever seen a fee that high. Even the big companies, like Square, charge around 3%. So this didn't seem right. I don't like the idea of paying extra on top of the quote. Obviously the business owner knows that the fee is 8%, so why not build that into the quote in the first place? This would be a better alternative to slapping the customer in the face with it at the end of the job. So we negotiated a bit and agreed on a total price of $430 if we pay in cash.

We agreed to this, and the lady said she would stop by our house between 8:00am and 8:30am to pick up the cash. Unsurprisingly, by 10:00am no one showed up. We went about our day, and got a call at noon from the lady saying she was at our house waiting to pick up the cash. Four hours late!

Based on the company tacking on fees on top of the quote and not seeming to be able to stick to a time commitment, we will not be using them in the future. These behaviors are all the things I don't like about working with these types of companies. I was hoping they would be different based on the reviews, but I was unfortunately disappointed.

Miguel Hernandez , Hernandez Landscaping did a great job for us.  His tree trimming was really good.  We were going to have him trim a Palo Verde that was huge ..... we had him and his crew remove it.... started it one day and finished the massive cleanup the next.  Left the yard looking clean.  Would recommend him ..... Also we felt that the price he charged was fair for the work performed.

Sal came out and gave us an estimate and then came out again the next day to help us with a leak in our drip system that started when another company came out to test the system.  We were so appreciative that he came out and helped us because the other company would not come back out and wanted us to wait and have water leaking around our home's foundation.  Sal installed a new drip system and we are excited to have him continue to maintain our yard.  We will also be having him put grass in our backyard when we are ready and he already set up the system so it will be ready when we are.

These guys are great! Incredibly professional, quick, and clean! We had them do about 4 days worth of work in the back yard and they completed it in 2! Hector and his guys were extremely punctual and reliable! They were working from 7am until 5pm in the dead of heat to ensure they completed the job as quickly and efficiently as possible.  Hector was very respectful and honest! While many other companies tried to rip us off, Hector worked with us on the price and his price was inexpensive from the start. I highly recommend these guys!!
