Plumbing 123

It was Saturday and our water heater tank began to leak from the top and bottom.

I scrolled through Yelp and found this business. I gave it a try and called the number. I spoke with Victor and told him my issue.  He gave an estimate and told me he will come out as soon as he was done with his current job.

A little over an hour later texted he was picking up a new water tank and would be on the way. He was professional and kept us updated on the steps he was taking.

He replaced our water tank and did an excellent job. I highly recommend Victor.

I arrived home to my gas water heater making noise. Victor responded well and replaced it the same day. If you're looking for someone honest, reliable and responsive, Victor is your guy for the job.

Victor is super friendly, responsive, and prompt. He's helped us a few times, first by advising on other vendors we can contact to help with basement storm leakage (no charge for this consultation), and then by helping us to fix a leaking bathtub and toilet very quickly. Working with Victor was a very positive and smooth experience. I asked him to come by to give a quote on installing a backflow valve, and followed up with quite a few questions after he had left. He was very responsive and thorough with answering my questions, and felt comfortable moving forward based on the other great reviews he has here. He and the crew showed up on time, completed the work within a day and he even did a few additional services around the house before he left (reset our toilet, rodded some drains). All around his prices were very competitive and he was great to work with. We will be calling him again next time we're in need of plumbing services.

Victor is the most honest and efficient plumber I've ever worked with! I  found him through the recommendation of other plumbers I had called to help fix our main sewer line which had overflowed into our house. It was definitely a happy accident. He came to our house day-of to work on the issue and to start the process of getting a permit and installing a clean out. We have worked with many plumbers who gave us crazy quotes and tried to do other work that could have potentially flooded our house. I've hired some Plummer's since I've own a house , but none is as hard working as Vic, first he clean the slowly draining tub  , and next day he replace my heavy 60 year old concrete laundry tub in my basement and hook up new water lines n drain ,  excellent work Vic and thank you , I would recommend him to friends n relatives that needs plumbing service , god bless .

Victor was really great. We called him about backed up pipe at my mom's house and he was there in no time, even with the snowfall starting last week. Victor is a true professional. Came out to look at an issue at my family members house that other plumbers did not want to touch. This is a multiple family home so it was a longer process to diagnose the problem. Victor and his partner Eric were great and efficient and came out the next day to complete the job. Turns out the home had the original rusty pipes that had been poorly installed and the access area was very difficult to get into and reline but they did it and I found their cost to be competitive. So glad I found this company and will be sure to use them again if needed. Highly recommend.

Victor (owner of Plumbing 123) was great!

My mom's house had a clogged drain line from the bathroom but the rest of the house's drains worked. I called several plumbers, described the situation,  and Victor gave me an estimate that was fair, stating I was 4th in line for the day should I accept.  I did accept.

He came before his estimated time and texted me to ask if that was OK.

He ran a camera up the drain line and showed me the roots that were causing the clog. He then cleared the clog with the machine that cuts the inside of the pipe clear and showed me the result by running the camera up the drain line again. My mom's clogged drain line problems were solved.

But Victor went above and beyond: He ran the camera towards the city's sewer line under the street (which had been draining well all along). He showed me a place where the main drain line had separated and one pipe had settled downward with respect to another, causing a narrowing of the sewer line. He suggested the city may own this part of the sewer line and that they need to fix it (rather than my mom having to hire a plumber).

I've kept Victor's number so I can call him next time my mom has a plumbing problem.

Victor is a rock star!  He rodded my kitchen sink that had a bad grease clog.  He took out the rusting pipes and replaced them with PVC.  Plus he's the nicest guy ever.  I would have paid three times as much with a different plumber.  He had the best estimate.  I highly recommend him!!!

Victor unclogged our toilet the same day I called  and was thoughtful in reviewing ways to prevent it in the future. He was kind, responsive and considerate from the start. Also I had called around to a few other places and Victor has the most competitive pricing. Never felt like I was getting taken. I have put him at the top of my list for any future plumbing needs.

Thank you for the main water valve replacement. Now I feel safe! The communication was without delays, the visit was fast, the work was professional.

I called, left a voicemail.  When the owner got back to me I texted him my address, name and problem.  He said he'd come over Thursday and would text me when he was on the way.  I had to adjust my schedule for the appointment.  I never heard from him again.

Over the years I've had an overflow problem in my powder room at the  back of my main level.
I have three bathrooms, and every once in a while when I let the water out of the bathtub upstairs-KABOOM! I come downstairs to a mess!
Nothing worse than a sudden, often raw sewage, spill onto the floor, through the floorboards into the basement. Gross! I usually try to get rodding done ahead of time to avoid these casualties, but it's not always possible.
Such was the case earlier this year. So, I sent out rodding requests through yelp, and about five companies responded. Plumbing 123 responded quickly to my problem via text.
Following, Victor and I had a phone conversation about the issue. Victor and his associate showed up promptly the next day. The house is very old with an overhead sewage/drain system. There was one pipe that I have believed to be the problem. In the past, other plumbers have disregarded my thoughts about this pipe.
The routine has been 'rod the sewer and leave.'
Until the NEXT time.
Not Victor. He opened up the problematic pipe. It was under a lot of pressure and totally backed up with disgusting, smelly raw sewage. He repaired the pipe, took care of the problem, put a new clean-out specifically for that pipe and all at a much more reasonable cost than anyone else had ever quoted.
I have some plumbing projects coming up, and he will definitely be my go to plumber from now on! He's a very pleasant, honest and responsive guy. Highly, highly recommend!
BTW, I live in the forest preserve/flood plane area of Des Plaines in 100-year-old home. These problems are not uncommon around here.

I was in need of having my catch basin rodded so I went on Yelp to find a plumber. Received a few responses from different companies and reached out to a few. Victor came out to provide an estimate and was able to perform the job the same day. He was very professional and explained things in a manner that I could understand. They completed the job in a timely manner and left things nice and neat upon completion. You could tell he takes pride in his work. I appreciate the great service and will definitely contact him for any future plumbing needs.

I had an emergency leak from the bathtub and Victor was able to come by the same day, complete with a van full of tools and a second person. I was so impressed and grateful for his prompt help. Even though it was an emergency, his price was reasonable. Would recommend without hesitation!

I've been using Vic and his guys for going on ten years , victor is probably they best sewer and water plumber there is , and an even better service provider, never met a harder working well rounded genuine human in my life , there really isn't anything he can do, he is a hard person to come by in the plumbing and service industry , his integrity, honesty , fairness in price , and always there for his clients no matter what, he has been my go to guy for ten years and man am I glad I found him you will be to take my word on that!

Submitted request to Plumbing123. Victor called within hours to provide quote, explained all services available and offered references. Their quote was competitive and their references excellent. Then booked and scheduled appointment. Victor and crew arrived on time and is very personable and knowledgeable. Victor explained the process and showed via camera my sewer drain line and its route to street which was not clear. Rodding began and was completed after full path was cleared into street line. We had a sewage back up on Christmas. Victor was SO nice and helpful and fast. He quickly responded to my message and he moved his schedule to help us sooner. We will never use another company.

Look no further if you're in need of plumbing services. Victor from Plumbing 123 was exceptional. I was in need of plumbing work for a condo bathroom. The faucet knob was leaky. The tub/shower knob was loose and missing parts. The tub diverter spout was very stiff and difficult to use. I only had a short timeline to get this completed so I was stressed out...  but Plumbing 123 made my life super easy. Victor was very responsive and gave me a quote right away. We were able to schedule and coordinate a time for him to come in the next day. He was on time, thorough, knowledgeable, reliable, and professional. The vanity faucets were very difficult to disassemble, but he was patient, diligent, and got the job done. Everything looks great and is in perfect working condition again. I'm so incredibly happy I found this business. Definitely, 5-star service! I will be calling them again for all of my future plumbing needs.

Could not ask for better service! I reached out via Yelp at 10pm on a Sunday when we had water in our basement and Victor responded right away helping to diagnose the problem using pictures. He offered to come at night be I chose to wait and he came first thing the next morning. Professional and took precautions (mask, shoe covers, used side entrance) he also explained the problem to me and showed me what he did to fix it which I found helpful. Would not hesitate to contact Victor again for plumbing needs!

I had a clogged bathroom sink that was slow to drain. I had tried repairing it myself but was unable to reach the back of sink due to it being a tight space.  Victor was friendly, considerate, prompt, and quickly fixed my plumbing issues. He found a marker stuck in there. Must have been there for a long while. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs.

Victor came out for an evening emergency situation & went above & beyond to solve the clog issue. He advised that the issue likely should not be my sole responsibility in my condo building as it was 50 feet away from my place. He offered to speak to my landlord/building manager for me & then provided further detail on a 2nd revised invoice nearly immediately. I will likely be reimbursed and I'm thrilled, I wouldn't have known it wasn't my problem if he hadn't told me.

I was having some frustrating plumbing issues with my office space. Victor took the time to chat with me before coming out and then was able to come out the next day to help. He is friendly and knowledgeable and I would 100% recommend his business for any of your plumbing needs!!!!

Victor came over last minute to fix an outdoor leak we had during the bitter cold. He clearly and honestly explained the problem to us, then, he went to two different stores to get the correct part so he could get it fixed that night. We never felt like we were being overcharged and he was professional, courteous and very responsive. We will certainly call him again with any other plumbing issues!

It was a Saturday evening when we discovered a waterfall in the basement and we couldn't turn off the water line!  Our regular plumber didn't even respond to our message so we realized we had to find someone who was willing to come out at 10:00 at night so we put out a request on yelp.  Victor responded right away.  To be honest we were waiting for a reply from another 24/7 listed plumber.  In the meantime we described the problem to  Victor, checked his reviews and decided we would take the plunge.  Luckily for us Victor came out with his covid mask on late Saturday night to assess the problem and was willing to come back the next day to execute the job that was needed to stop the leak.  First thing Sunday morning he cut through more of the drywall, found the leak, repaired the pipe and told us what to watch for.  As the other reviewers have said he was professional in his demeanor and appearance (both he and his truck were spotless), knows his way around pipes and patiently answered our many questions.  We would recommend him to others and would definitely use him for all of our plumbing (and sewer) needs in the future.
