Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

My annual SRP A/C check-up was scheduled for 4/15/16.  I did not select a contractor and this morning Larson A/C showed up even before the scheduled appointment.  The two technicians:  Joshua and Colorado were very courteous and got right to work on the 4 ton Goodman unit.  They opened the panels on the unit and inspected the coils which were found to be in poor condition due to the inlet of the drip line being clogged.  This allowed standing water to accumulate causing the base of the coil to start to rust.  Joshua unclogged the drip line inlet so this would not happen again.  They checked the amperage of the condenser motor which was found to be running at full (2.8 amps) amperage indicating a failing capacitor.  They replaced the old capacitor with a new one and the amperage reading decreased.  I joined Joshua and Colorado on the roof and they gave me a full explanation of the overall condition of the unit including coils, compressor, condenser motor and temperature split.  They were extremely knowledgeable and were able to convey information about the unit in terms I would understand.  They pointed out specs that were labelled on the unit and showed the reading on their amp meter and temperature split regulator to point out that the unit is not realizing it's full operating efficiency due to an intake restriction.  They were very careful when disconnecting their refrigerant lines so I wouldn't lose much refrigerant.  The unit blows too cold as a result of poor airflow over the coils.  They pointed out that I was losing a lot CFM as a result of the restrictions in intake and leaks in the duct work.  The insulation layer in the attic also is very old and needs new insulation.  I couldn't have been in better hands as Joshua and Colorado were thorough, knowledgeable, honest and friendly who also took the time to explain the operation of my system and offered ways to improve the existing unit's efficiency until I can afford a new one as this unit is reaching the end of it's expected lifespan.  I will be using Larson going forward for all my A/C needs including unit replacement, duct-work sealing, insulation blowing and the possible addition of new intakes to improve cooling efficiency in the house.  I feel VERY lucky to have had Larson come out this morning.  They can expect to have me as a repeat customer going forward.  Also, and I'm sure it goes without saying that Larson A/C should feel proud of having two employees like Joshua and Colorado.

Had to call American Home Air and water again, this time for the A/C that continually trips the breaker. The tech thought to check the breaker box instead of just the AC and figured out the unit maxed 60amps while the breaker trips at 40amps. This unit throws that breaker all summer long and finally after five years someone figured out why! This is a terrific company: honest, fairly priced, and they hire clever people.

Good people - fair and conscientious - professional and respectful - as well as efficient.

I'm not big on contractors and repair guys. You usually feel like whatever the outcome you're going to get hosed. Not with this company. Phil came out and he was super honest friendly and helpful.  He had many opportunities to upsell me, instead he educated me on ways to save money.

Johnny just saved me a ton of money. My AC wasn't working and he was able to diagnose it over the phone. He called me back several times to check in on me and the system. Once it came back on he gave all the details on what I needed to do. Not only is he knowledgeable but kind and helpful. Thank you Johnny for helping me out! Called on Monday to schedule for tune up. Got in for Wednesday between 10am-2pm, A quarter to 2pm, no call no show. Called the company, the lady said they called and left a message to reschedule. We are home all morning, no miss call, no message.

If there were more stars to give this company would have each one! From the star of contacting them till the end of the service, Arizona Air Experts were excellent! The lady who helped me get an appointment the same day was sweet and has great customer service and great communication, she called every step of the way. Darrin was our technician and he was AWESOME. Very honest, friendly and helpful. He showed us every step of the way of what he was doing and how to help the performance of our AC unit. He was also very patient with us as we had to go through our home warranty for authorization for our reimbursement process. Great company and I will most definitely be using them for our maintenance on our AC and any plumbing service! Thank you so much, your company made our day!

Kept me informed on my install status. Friendly team that installed, worked their butts off all day in the heat to replace my unit! Can't thank you enough for the hard work. We are really happy with results and corrected some duct work in my 1973 home.

During the heat wave of the week of July 23, 2018 my heat pump would shut off at the hottest part of the day and then return to normal operation about two hours later. I called Arctic Fox and let Misty (the owner's wife)  know what was going on with my unit. I told her it was not an emergency, as the unit was running when I called. We scheduled Friday of that week for Heath (the owner) to come out and look at the heat pump. Misty stated if it got any worse to call and they would fit us in.

I called back on Thursday morning, as my wife was concerned about our dogs and cat. Heath arrived at our house and did some troubleshooting on the unit. He could find nothing wrong with the unit. After providing him with the symptoms that occurred each afternoon he determined it may be the motor for the fan that cools the coils. It has a thermostat that shuts down the motor at 200 degrees. It did not occur when he was there (naturally). He stated he would return the next day with a new motor. Friday he removed the old motor and lo and behold, the motor was leaking oil near the shaft. The motor was heating to shut down temperatures the previous days. Heath worked fast and diligently to replace the motor as the heat pump was shut down during this task.

When it was all said and done, the motor was under warranty and there was no charge for it. Heath said there was also no labor charge. I disagreed with the free labor, as he came out two days and I know the manufacturer was not going to reimburse him for his time.  I asked him what his labor rate was for the two days he was at my home. He provided me with the cost (I think he may have low balled it) and I gladly paid.

I cannot say enough of the integrity, customer service and genuine care this husband and wife company displays every time I use their services. The big name companies cannot even come close to Arctic Fox's business ethic.

I'm so very happy with this company! They arrived on time and immediately went up on the roof to examine my AC unit. The good news was there was nothing wrong and instead of telling me stories they admitted the truth! They told me what to look out for if I ever heard the noise again and how much it would cost to replace the motor. The price seemed very reasonable. I will return to them for all my AC and heating needs

My HVAC finally went out and the timing was not great! I had a few companies come out and gave less than ideal quotes. One company was even rude. Then I had AZ Dukes of Air come out and Dustin was great. He explained everything to me and was not pushy. So, after checking a few more avenues I called and talked with Tonya in the office and she told me about an upcoming promotion that would save me money, but would have to wait about a month. I said OK, saving money is awesome. The day of the install there were 2 guys (forgot their names) that came and were very professional and I cant begin to say how pleased I am and just in time, as its getting hotter. Ive had it on ever since and it is so quiet, something that it wasnt previously.  I would highly recommend and plan on using in the future. Thank you to everyone that assisted in the install.

I've been having a problem with one of my AC units. I had a company come out and they claimed the problem was due to a low amount of freon. I paid them to fix it and a month later I was having the same problem.

Last week I called Bumble Bee and they sent Gabriel out. He was very friendly and honest. I asked him for an estimate and breakdown of costs. I called my brother in Utah who is an AC tech and explained the problem and estimate and he let me know that they were right on and the price was fair.

I called Bumble Bee back and they sent out Steven who got the job done. I'm very pleased with the service the provide.

This is a real story from today... I had gotten a quote from AC by J just two days ago.  They charged me $135 just to come look at the unit. Then these jokers quoted me $7-8k to replace my AC.  Seriously, that's $8,000 dollars.  

Alan's Air fixed it for $450.  He honestly saved me $7,000.  The guy is honest, fast, reliable, and just a real nice guy.  I will always call him going forward!!!!

Alex and Elena did an energy audit on our home. They are so professional and friendly. They did a great job explaining our options and informing us just where our problem areas were. We decided on replacing our very old A/C unit as well as insulating and adding ducts. Their crew led by Chis were efficient, knowledgeable and very clean. We now have a very comfortable home and an efficient system. We appreciate their suggestions and so very happy with the work they did. We highly recommend using Ideal Energy!

So I was in the cooking dinner and noticed it was getting a a little hotter in the kitchen than the usual. Turns out, the AC in our home is went out in the middle of summer. The thermostat was showing 92 degrees inside! So I turn on every fan we have (which was no help) felt like we were living inside an air fryer. Long story short I started calling a bunch AC repair places who claim to be 24/7 but the earliest they could come out was 2-3days later. -__-  Anyways I contacted Desert Comfort Mechanical around 11:30 pm and they were able to come out the following morning. The crew Fadel and Dennis are great guys and took really good care of us. They were knowledgeable courteous , Fast, and gave us a fair price. What I like most is that did not rip us off like the other AC company we've used before with the big ugly blue trucks with the goofy looking polar bear on the side. Desert Comfort Mechanical  will  definitely be my go to for any AC problems. 100% satisfied, Thank you guys again.

Hired these guys to come do some plumbing and job was quick and decently priced. About a month later there was some leaking. Their master plumber Mike was there at 8 am next morning to address the issue. He was professional and friendly. Job went smoothly and I am still very happy with this company.  My overall experience has been very positive. Would definitely recommend.
