Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

I'm am posting this review as I hope the owner of Larson sees it.  I also would like the owner to give me a call to confirm that this feedback has been recieved.  

Lyle is phenomenal.  This is the second time that Lyle has visited my house to perform maintenance or service on my heating and cooling unit.  He did an analysis on the unit, performed predictive maintenance on the unit and explained the unit's current health to me.  He also installed a fancy new thermostat for me and set it up!  While here I explained to Lyle some concerns about the aging ductwork.  Lyle went into the attic and did a brief examination of the ductwork including taking photos so I didn't have to climb into the attic myself.  He showed me the photos and explained what he thought were the concerns.  After that he recommended an individual at Larson that is more knowledgeable than him about ductwork.  I respect the level of humility that he has to recommend another individual based on his perception of their overall experience being greater in that area.  Before this recommendation, my stance was only trusting in Lyle to perform maintenance and service on my system.  After this my stance is that of trusting Lyle and his recommendations.  Also, Lyle pointed out a concern he had with my condensation line.  This was of GREAT appreciation because the issue with the condensation line had a huge propensity to cause damage.  While here he fixed that issue and did so quite quickly!  You can tell just by the way in which he works that this man is incredibly skilled and takes great pride in his work and unfortunately its hard to find that these days.  He is an invaluable asset!  I know that my heating and cooling system is in great hands with Lyle and with 110+ temperatures throughout the summer, that's priceless.

The service that Jordan provided on 6/14/19 was exceptional. He was thoroughly meticulous in not just changing the filters, but cleaning and explaining it all to me. I was impressed with the care he took to do such a great job. He wasn't in a hurry and was patient. In the past we've changed the filters ourselves, but after watching and listening to him I would have to say that the service was well worth the money. We'd been doing it wrong all this time too! Yipes!

I found 1st Choice Mechanical on Yelp due to their great reviews. I was completely down and out after previously being scammed by a horrible company and happened upon 1st Choice. I spoke with Tori and she was so kind and caring and let me blab and cry about the horrible situation I was in. She said she would try and call her father Michael and asked if he would come on Saturday, a day they are normally closed. Immediately she called back and said he would be there. Michael showed up promptly and was so friendly and knowledgeable. I felt at ease and confident in his skill set. He was done within an hour. Having just moved here and being a first time home owner, I knew nothing. Now I know a great family owned company who I will go back with time and time again.

Look no further, these are the guys you want to call to come check out your AC unit. Johnny answered our call at 5:45am! He was professional, and I could immediately tell he knew what he was talking about. He instructed me to do a couple things over the phone to diagnose the problem, guaranteeing to have the parts needed when he came out within the hour! That immediately blew me away!! Within the hour ya'll! I can't hate on his hustle! He had my AC back running in an hour and a half! He also recommended filters I should use instead of the ones I had for my type of a/c. Plus he offered some helpful tips I can do yearly. They also told me they do AC checkups! I definitely will call them !

Called on Monday to schedule for tune up. Got in for Wednesday between 10am-2pm, A quarter to 2pm, no call no show. Called the company, the lady said they called and left a message to reschedule. We are home all morning, no miss call, no message.

I live in Fl has a rental in Surprise AZ. The property needs an AC replacement. I found great reviews for Az Air expert so I gave them a chance and it was a great experience. I got everything done the next day. Thank you Maria and the AC Tech Randy for making the process painless. And most of all the price was very fair.

I have used Cool Zone for about a year and a half.  They installed a split system (for the previous owners of our home), which I couldn't figure out how to use.  I had another (redacted name company) out to replace a condensate line and to check the split system.  The other company indicated that the split system wasn't working and that they'd need to fix it.  I contacted Cool Zone since I found the split paperwork showing they had installed it and I was hoping it was under warranty.  Dave (owner) came out and showed me how to use the split system (no charge) and that it was working fine.  Since then, we've had them install a two stage system to address an issue with poor cooling of an area of the house, install Ecobee thermostats, do general checks and tune ups, and address a weird leak.  I've got nothing but great things to say about this company.  They are probably not the cheapest in town, but they show up on time, do the work correctly, and don't try to up sell.  Their prices seem about average, and less than (redacted company).  On a personal note, everyone I've interacted with in the company: Dave, Byron, Ryan, and Danette are great people as well.  

Support this local small business.  You will not be disappointed.

My evap motor finally failed and found Arctic Fox via the web. Showed up during the scheduled time and confirmed the motor needed replacement. Immediately after installation, a noticeable hum was coming from the motor as well as heard throughout the house. Arctic Fox returned the motor and installed another and the hum was still there. Obviously, no noise was heard from the motor before. The tech attempted several adjustments to the tension on the belt but still a noticeable hum and that is where it was left. Considering the cost and getting a new motor that sounded worse than the first, the service was sub-standard. The tech was there to install a motor and that happened. But, to troubleshoot with the customer interest in mind..unsatisfied. Over the week-end, my neighbor and I spent no more than an hour determining that the problem wasn't with the motor but with the vibration itself. We tightened the tension and the hum was gone. Arctic Fox will do the job it's called out to do but beyond that, doing the job right, not impressed. That might be enough for some, but based on my first experience with Arctic Fox, it will be my last

I am pleased to write a great review for the family run business of Gladiate Air Conditioning & Heating.  Dave and Gabriel called before our scheduled appointment.  They arrived on time.  They spent an hour servicing my air conditioner (that I should have had serviced sooner).  They replaced wires worn out by the sun.  As I vacuumed my pool, I could see on the roof how they checked everything thoroughly.  And their price for service was only $65.  I learned of the company through Yelp (5 stars).  I am now a loyal customer and want others to feel comfortable calling for service with Gladiator Air.

Chris came out and helped same day, other companies were giving me next day and no timeframes. Chris showed up on time and explained it was capacitor. Talked about customer care plan and seems like a good idea for us in AZ.

David Flores is amazing. He was very quick to answer my inquiry, he came the next day to give me an estimate, and within a week, my new AC unit is installed. I am totally impressed by his responsiveness, knowledge and honesty. I highly  recommend Biltmore Mechanical. I am 100% satisfied with my decision to hire them!

Had an A/C issue, and called a different company for a service call.  After a short conversation and about 15 minutes on my roof, they suggested a replacement unit. I felt that given that large cost, a second opinion would be prudent.  I called Bumble Bee, and spoke to Lisa on the phone for about 15 minutes.  I provided her with the info. from the other company, and she gave me with an over-the-phone estimate that was a good bit less, and scheduled a tech to come verify needs. Chris the tech came, and after checking things (about 20+ minutes on the roof)  and a good detailed discussion, we decided to clean/service the unit (something the other company did not give me as an option) before replacement, saving me (in the short run, hopefully for 1-2 years) about $6k.  It may still need replacement, but after discussion with both I felt I was getting honest information and good service - maybe wishful thinking to avoid such a huge expense, but we'll see if there are still problems.  However, as stated, I felt as if I was dealing with straight-shooters.  If I do need to replace, they'll be my call.  One item I forgot about - Chris wore his mask for the entire time of his visit - appreciated, along with the other things mentioned.  Definitely recommended.

Huge shout out to Mike with Cave Creek Cooling who responded immediately to my AC/water leak problem. Came right out within an hour and took care of it. Very professional and pleasant. I highly recommend.

Here's the short version:

My experience with Ideal Energy was absolutely beyond my expectations. They were professional, on time, and I couldn't be happier with my home's new AC and Furnace. If you're shopping for HVAC services, don't hesitate to call these guys.  

If you want the details:
We purchased an older home. Built in the 1980's and it had its quirks; its had things break. We've had multiple contractors to our house to fix and install various things around the home. Windows repaired, blinds installed, drywall repaired, patio installations. We had a few AC quotes prior to working with Ideal Energy. We needed new duct-work. Our house had add-ons that just weren't getting air properly. We voiced our concerns to other HVAC companies, but all they wanted to so was replace our AC unit. This would have left our 35-year-old furnace and 35-year-old duct-work in place to run a brand-new AC unit. In my mind that was like putting a new engine in a 35-year-old car, and not bothering to replace the worn-out tires. We said we wanted all of it fixed, but with other contractors it fell on deaf ears. I can do the AC but we don't to ducts. I've had contractors come in with wild ideas to save money, including going and purchasing the AC unit myself, so I can save money with credit card points. I've got quotes written down on blank sheets of paper with no real explanation or break down for what I was buying. I've had contractors, in fact nearly all of them, fail to follow up when they said they would.
My experience with Alex and Ideal Energy left the competition in the dark. Alex showed up not only in the window he had promised, he gave my updates as to when exactly he would arrive. He showed up with a power point presentation outlying MY HOUSE. My floor plan was in his power-point. He explained the problems with my current duct working. He explained several solutions we could implement with various price points. He calculates the exact tonnage required for my home, based on computer simulations. Not a generalized rule of thumb like every other HVAC company that showed up had offered.

We settled on a state-of-the-art Zoned AC system. I can individually monitor and change the temperatures in various parts of my home. I can opt to cool infrequently used rooms less and keep the Master chilly at night without cooling my living room as much. While only using the single AC unit. It's absolutely incredible. (Ask them about it, its super cool... No pun intended) I didn't even know something like this existed. Alex's crew showed up on time with a convoy of trucks to remove my old system and install the new one. The task was a huge undertaking. His crew spent the better part of 3 solid days in the attic ensuring everything was good to go. I'm chilly in rooms of my house that have never been cold before.

An AC is a big investment. Let Ideal Energy take care of you. This has been the most streamlined, turnkey process I've had done to my house. Which is amazing. Considering its by far the biggest project I've had done. Don't hesitate to call them, they'll take care of you.

Received same day service when my AC stopped working!  They gave me a window time frame for arrival and showed up close to the beginning of the range I was given.  They called when they were about 20 minutes away to let me know when they'd arrive and to make sure it worked with our schedule to come at that time. Tom diagnosed the problem very quickly, had the part on hand and fixed it on the spot.  He explained what the problem was and showed me the damaged part. He also explained about how long it was going to take for my house to cool down again and what to expect.  Couldn't be happier with everyone at Sure Temp that helped me starting with Mary when she scheduled our appointment, to Keith when he reassured me that we'd be taken care of today and then Tom for his services.  Great job guys!  Keep up the good work!  There is a reason why you have such good ratings!
