I called Larson because the AC unit malfunctioned in a rental townhome.  They were able to send a technician the same day, which helps when it's still above 100 F in Phoenix.  The technician Sam arrived within the appointed time, diagnosed the bad capacitor, and was able to put the unit back into service.  I was not onsite but the Larson office and Steve made sure I was aware of the progress of the appointment and estimates through phone, text and email.  I've used Larson before at another rental, they make it easy to work with them.

We just had American Home Water & Air come and install a water softener and RO in our home. They were very quick and professional and took the time to explain everything to us before they left. I would highly recommend this company for their professionalism, competitive prices and overall great at what they do. They have all the parts available and are ready to install in your home. I had Tom K. over yesterday to look at our house and had them come the next morning to install the products. A+

I had one other company try and fix my heating and other companies didn't even know how to work on the system my apartment had. 1st Choice responded quick and gave updates on the status of the driver. Jared was very knowledgeable and very respectful. Highly recommend.

Juan was the technician that arrived to our house. Prompt and I believe early as he politely waited outside our premises until the scheduled time. He introduced himself and entered with (clean booties on) incredibly professional. Juan was very kind, explained everything and went out of his way ~crawling underground~ as we have a 1970'a home with underground air return exchange. He found where there was an accumulation of debris ect and cleaned away. He serviced our air handler /ac unit and was very informative, explaining things and to the point. In our one experience with them we would def recommend this company to others and call them againwithout hesitation.

I just had a RO system installed today. The office was efficiant and organized. They verified and reminded me as well. Matt was informative and patient with all my questions. Of particular interest was an additional step added to the system that boosts the alkalinity after filtration which addressed my main concern with Reverse Osmosis. Matt installed the system the same day which saved us another appointment although I'm sure that is not always an option.

It is easy to recommend these folks and I will likely have them do a whole house system next.

This company is top notch. I'm also in a customer service business so have very high expectations. Randy and his crew were extremely professional, honest, did a great job, cleaned up perfectly and were priced extremely reasonably. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. I woke up to a hot house with my ac unit switching on and off. I found this company on yelp, received a quote, called and within 30 minutes a tech was out to diagnose and repair. Amazing and speedy service. They turned a helpless situation into a positive experience. Definitely will be using in the future and referring everyone I know to them.

My evap motor finally failed and found Arctic Fox via the web. Showed up during the scheduled time and confirmed the motor needed replacement. Immediately after installation, a noticeable hum was coming from the motor as well as heard throughout the house. Arctic Fox returned the motor and installed another and the hum was still there. Obviously, no noise was heard from the motor before. The tech attempted several adjustments to the tension on the belt but still a noticeable hum and that is where it was left. Considering the cost and getting a new motor that sounded worse than the first, the service was sub-standard. The tech was there to install a motor and that happened. But, to troubleshoot with the customer interest in mind..unsatisfied. Over the week-end, my neighbor and I spent no more than an hour determining that the problem wasn't with the motor but with the vibration itself. We tightened the tension and the hum was gone. Arctic Fox will do the job it's called out to do but beyond that, doing the job right, not impressed. That might be enough for some, but based on my first experience with Arctic Fox, it will be my last

So glad I found Gladiate! We were told we needed our AC coil and blower cleaned by a technician from another company after a tune-up. The price they quoted was insane and they tried very hard to scare me into having it done on the spot.

I got quotes from half a dozen other places. All of them were way less than what the initial company wanted to charge, and Gladiate's was by far the best.

I appreciated the quick response from Gabriel and the immediate availability. When he came out he was punctual, professional and personable. I instantly knew Gladiate was going to be our go-to HVAC contractor from now on.

I told him how dirty our equipment supposedly was before he started. A less honest person could have come back and said, Yeah, it's worse than I thought. I'm gonna have to charge more than I initially quoted. But Gabriel confirmed with before and after pictures that our system was nowhere near that bad.  That other technician was exaggerating to justify overcharging us. With Gladiate we paid for only what was needed to get the job done right--an hour of labor and some coil cleaner.

We'll be trusting Gladiate with all our maintenance and repair needs going forward!

A/C stopped working on a Sunday. System is about 7 years old, so I was dreading what the problem could be , hoping I didn't need a new unit. Did a little research and some testing, but there was no way I could fix whatever was wrong with it. Turned to Yelp, saw the great reviews for Duke, so decided to give them a call. They answered the phone and had a technician out to my home within an hour!! I talked with the tech, gave him an overview of the problem, and he went to work. I was hoping it was just the capacitor, the cheapest part I would need to replace. Well, it ended up being my fan motor had seized up and was shot. He explained the problem which jived with what I had observed, and gave me a quote BEFORE he started doing any actual repairs. While it was more expensive than the capacitor, he did not try and sell me a new unit or upsell me on any maintenance package or anything like that. I gave him the OK, and he got the job done in about an hour, and had the motor on his truck. A/C now working fine and the fan motor I got is a much better quality than the stock one it replaced. He even told me I should not have to replace the fan motor again for the lifetime of the system. Prompt service, even on a Sunday, knowledgeable and friendly technician, and honest pricing. Could not ask for more.

The owner David communicated very well showed up in the timeframe expected was super professional and honest. We had our air conditioning serviced and recharged, David went above and beyond and told us we were good until the next service and did not try and sell us something we didn't need.

In July our AC unit was blowing only warm air - yuck! Bumble Bee was very quick to send a crew to assess the situation. A new unit was needed - we knew this was likely to be the year the AC died. The crew did a great job installing the new one and we were cool and comfortable in as short a time as possible! (Lots has been happening in our life since then so that's why the later than normal review!)

It was amazing dealing with a honest company that wants to try the least expensive fixes first.  Michael solved our problem economically and effectively.  We will definitely use him again.  He is extremely knowledgeable and professional.  Thanks you for a great experience ! Thanks

I was referred to Alan by Johnny's Air, another local guy who does repair and had great reviews. Alans air fixed my ac problem with honestly and professionalism. I will use them again. Its not easy to find honest service providers you can trust. My first estimate from another company was $1700.00 but Bob came to the house and fixed my ac for $320.00. Thanks for being honest.

We knew we needed more insulation when we bought the house. So we got the energy audit from one of the SRP approved contractors. And they also submitted a bid to do the work. Then we sought bids from two other companies.

If you need to go down this route too, then do what we didn't do: check the licenses of the SRP approved contractors with AZROC. Because, of the three companies we dealt with, Ideal was the only company that had an HVAC license. If you're going to have major HVAC work done, wouldn't you want to be dealing with people that make the effort ot get licensed for it?

Ideal was the only company that sealed the ducts the old-fashioned way -- with mastic and tape. The other two companies wanted to blow in some chemical product. You can read all about it online. You might like it. But it is more expensive.

So what about Ideal?

Everything went well from dealing with Brian, the salesman/estimator, to the work done by the crew. They handled all of the SRP rebates so I didn't have to wait for them -- they do! They added an extra air-return required by our heat pump. The other two companies didn't notice that. And they were half as expensive as the other companies that bid.

The money we saved is being invested in xeric plants to shade the house and the yard. The money saved will also pay for sealing leaks around windows and doors.

The A/C started blowing hot air late Friday night during the hottest Labor Day weekend in history.  On Saturday morning, I started calling around to 24/7 A/C service companies and no one was available until Monday or Tuesday.  I searched Yelp and found Desert Comfort Mechanical.  Fadel was able to come out and find the problem right away.  I highly recommend Desert Comfort Mechanical.

Amazing service, extremely knowledgeable technician, quick response on the weekend, slightly expensive, but not surprising considering it was considered an emergency -will do business with this company again.

They were fast, friendly and professional. I felt like they gave a fair assessment of the issue and the options I had to remedy.

Is your AC working? Well mine wasn't... Until these guys came. Fixed my AC and they did it quickly!  Would I recommend these guys? Absolutely...unless you live in a cave with no AC...my recommendation would be pointless.
