So glad I picked Larson Air Conditioning! I like to support family-owned businesses; Lyle from Larson Air did an awesome job. He was very knowledgeable and did a thorough and efficient job in a courteous and friendly manner. There was water leaking from the air handler causing damage to the wall behind it. The only thing wrong really was that the drainage pipe from the condenser was filled with sediment. A couple summers ago, we had the same thing happen but the repairman from another company only cleaned the drip pan. I didn't know he should also have cleaned out the drainage pipe. But Lyle cleaned out everything. He did a very thorough job of also cleaning the outside and inside coils and checked all other parts. He explained the maintenance plans Larson Air had available. I hadn't planned to get one, but I was glad to learn of them and after learning the services provided at a reasonable cost, I was glad to buy one. Although I knew that the AC should have regular maintenance, I didn't know what it would entail or what the cost would be. I highly recommend Larson Air Conditioning.

Our mini split a/c unit was not working properly and worker Lyle was sent to our home and he was very professional and explained issues.  He was not able to complete the job but that was no fault of his, unfortunately the manufacturer of the unit (Daikin) has a protocol to service units and Lyle had to wait for a Daikin representative to call him back and the company could not say when or what time they will call back.    I can not say enough about Lyle and his company.

This is my second time using 1st Choice Mechanical. The first time was in November for an HVAC repair and this time for a refrigerator repair. I'm both cases their customer service has been outstanding and their techs have been timely, courteous, and knowledgeable. They were able to make necessary repairs in the timeframe quoted, and were easy to work with. I would gladly use them again in the future.

Phillip Boldt is an expert in A/C and shares his experience with you when you hire him.  Phillip worked with my unit until it was programmed exactly the way I want it.  Phillip is as good as you can find.  I recommend his company for A/C work

Called on Monday to schedule for tune up. Got in for Wednesday between 10am-2pm, A quarter to 2pm, no call no show. Called the company, the lady said they called and left a message to reschedule. We are home all morning, no miss call, no message.

When I called this morning at 6am, the man on the phone was very nice. I explained that I have 3 dogs, so I had to be home and safe. He told me to turn off my air conditioner and someone would be out by 9.

At 8:30am, I got a phone call from one of the rudest people I can remember speaking to. He asked if I had called other places. I said, 'No, I didn't know that I was supposed to.' At that point he got so argumentative with me, and every question he asked he got angrier at my responses. I cancelled the service. No way would I recommend that repairman. Based on the initial phone call, other repair people might be great, so I'm giving it a middle rating, in an attempt at fairness.

My Evaporative cooler was not working and causing a breaker to trip. I reported the problem to Danette at Cool Zone and made an appointment for repairs to be made.  On 04/25/2019 a technician (unknown name) arrived, and I told him to proceed with the repairs (without asking for a cost estimate).  He completed the work and presented me with an invoice for $826.97 which included the cost of a 3/4, 115V blower motor @ $666. I thought  the cost was extremely high, but paid it, as I had no idea how much the motor should cost. However, I later checked with Lo
we's and Home Depot and found the motors retail for between $85 and $150. I discussed the above with my niece, Kathy, who called Danette and suggested there may have been an error in the billing.  Kathy was told there was no mistake and they would not make any adjustments to the billing. I would not recommend doing business with Cool Zone.  I would be glad to re-think this review if CoolZone would furnish me with a copy of the invoice showing exactly how much they paid for the blower motor.

I am so blown away by the service we received from Arctic Fox, Heath is amazing!  We were so impressed with how fast he was able to diagnose and fix our ac...and in July!  Only waiting a few hours was a complete blessing in the middle of summer.  We are so thankful to Heath and will be only calling Arctic Fox from now on!

I have been meaning to write a review for Dave for some time.  My air conditioner broke down after 7 years of operating with no issues after buying the home.  I had an archaic/obsolete model sitting on my roof that Dave would periodically maintain (My Mom gave me his contact info.).  On the rare occasion that Dave didn't just trouble shoot issues I was having over the phone for free, any charges that I received for his work were not significant.  

The AC broke down in the middle of August, and this was the first time that Dave had to do real work and he got it all done extremely fast.  The fortunate side of my bad luck was that the unit broke down on a Friday, and Dave had my system installed and running by Monday evening.  He made every effort to get the job done first thing in the morning, which is unheard of given the quick procurement of a model that fit in a confined working space, but unfortunately couldn't get the crane on time to have things back to normal on Monday morning.  Really minor hiccup that Dave actively communicated with me on.  

Given the expediency and efficiency that was delivered, I really feel that Dave over-delivered.  Of course a new AC unit and cost of labor for this kind of job isn't going to be cheap, but in hindsight and having scoped out comps from time to time since, he was VERY AFFORDABLE.  I am never going to go to anyone else for AC services.

Our AC went out on us this afternoon and we called Dukes of Air. They weren't sure they could get someone to the house today but an hour later we got a call from Todd, who came by checked the unit on the roof and then told us the bad news. It wasn't going to be an easy fix like last time, but he got the parts and came back and worked on it till it was running again. Today was one of the hottest days so far this summer and we owe Todd and Dukes of Air a huge thank you!

I utilized Biltmore Mechanical to replace my unit on my condo. I based my decision on the paucity of negative reviews on yelp (people that are dissatisfied are much more likely to leave reviews than people that receive the level of service they expected). That and the fact that the other company that I had bid on the work only offered a 1 year warranty whereas Biltmore Mechanical offered a 10 year parts warranty (and I considered a 1 yr warranty unacceptable as a quality unit properly installed and maintained should last significantly more than 10 years in my opinion).  The job went perfectly, and I am confident that Biltmore Mechanical will assist me if I should have any difficulty with my AC in the next 15 years.

Had a problem so I called them because I had them do a clean up service before the summer hit...I was having a noise that did not sound right....it was  a Friday and they came right over and found that a part (fan blower) was broken but could maybe continue working for a short amount of time while they would try and get the replacement part...That night the AC stopped working...I called and left them a message and went to a hotel. Summer time is no time to be in a house with no AC....by the next morning when I called they were already on it trying to source the part and by 1 PM they were back with the part and fixed it. I was so happy and relieved. The technicians are very friendly and knowledgeable. They take photographs of everything so I can see what they are doing and what needs to be done and they take their time to answer any and all questions. Polite, timely and knowledgeable...hmm nothing bad to say about them...

Just had a spring AC maintenance and a part replaced.  These guys were extremely efficient, got back to me almost immediately, arrived on time, knew what they were talking about, were very nice and the pricing was in line if not better than the large companies working in the valley.  I don't recommend often, but you can't go wrong with CCCC.

Alan has been servicing our AC for years. It is so nice to know a reliable, friendly, honest and well priced AC man. I will always use Alan and Bill for all my heating and AC needs.

Two years ago, Ideal Energy did some work on my old house to improve it's energy efficacy.  The results was lower bills this last summer.  So when my furnace started spewing carbon monoxide I called them and some other BBB A+ firms.  When the bids came in, not only were they more than a thousand dollars cheaper, they where able to install faster than the other firms--they had the furnace installed the next day. I highly recommend Elena, Alex, Chris and the crew if you need anything having to do with homes HVAC and saving energy (and money!)

One of the most responsive companies I've been served by. Fadel represents the company with a high degree of professionalism, honesty and ownership. I recommend this team for anyone with HVAC needs!

I am so conflicted with Proskill my wife had reached out to them multiple times and received the usual canned answers on questions to invoice and cost.  Only when a poor review was posted did the owner of the company get involved and took control of the situation actually writing me a personal note which I sincerely appreciate.

My confliction is that I wonder how many poor reviews are left and then the owner has to follow up and clean up the issues.  Are all these 5 star reviews really real?  

I do believe the owners the of this company went above and beyond in addressing my concerns.  Their follow up was impeccable and provided a solution to my concerns.  I personally just wish that this situation never had to get this far.

I'm not into lengthy reviews, but I hired them for annual AC maintenance. Rising Sun Air communicated well, was on time, and did a great work in a quick amount of time. Would hire again.

Very quick response and no pressure quote.   Work completed timely and with friendly service.   Definitely recommend.
