Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

Lyle IS the best part of Larson AC, and I would argue one of the best AC techs in the Valley!    He is worth 5+ stars, and I will be glad to have him service my units.  He is extremely polite, knowledgeable and detail orientated.  [Please do ask for him]  
   Alas, since review is for the entire business, which includes their installation of 2x new high end AC/Furnace units, with some of their other techs, who made critical mistakes, both as a group, and also individually,  caused minor damage, and forced re-do of critical AC Unit wiring, have to reduce score.  Pleasant phone switchboard and scheduling, which also keeps the score up.  Not just a Fan, as I am an MS/EE/CS Engineer who works in global data centers for the world's largest IT company; I am familiar with commerical grade AC units, due to the need for 24/7 cooling for mission critical gear for the Fortune 100.

I had American Home and Water install a Patriot water softener.  Tom came to my house and was a pleasure to deal with.  He thoroughly explained the system and installation.  The quote was very affordable.  My job was scheduled fast.  Gerardo and Higi were great.  They did a professional job on the install and all the plumbing connections were integrated into the home very well.  Definitely recommend them and I will be a returning customer for any future needs.  Thanks guys.

James came out right away and did an excellent job. Explained what the issue was and that is was a far less complex issue than we anticipated. Pricing was also better than other quotes received.

Words can not express the gratitude that me and my family have for this company. They were very knowledgable, professional and extremely reasonable. Our a.c had been out with numerous consultations in and out of our home. Boldt staff was respectful and forth coming in our ac needs. Their willingness to assist and do a job well done was refreshing and a blessing. I would refer this company to anyone that I know needs hvac help. They take customer service to the next level.

These guys are, in a word....awesome.  I've got a few properties around the valley that are rentals/etc, and I had them out to do 3 service calls.  They were great about scheduling (big plus), showed up on time, did a very thorough job, and didn't cost too much!

An added bonus, they took the time to explain to me the ideal maintenance schedule for the AC units to keep them running in top shape for years - big plus in my book!  

Bottom line - they're great!  Use them, yelp them, share it around.

Our 14 year old air conditioner gasped its last breath of hot air with low freon a little over a week ago. Our first thought was to get the company we had come out once before several years to see if more freon was needed. It was not Hays, but a well known company with their amusing commercials. To be fair, they did send someone out and after examining the unit outside and in the attic, he said it pretty much on its last legs,. Suggested we have a sales rep come out the next day and I said well what do I do till then? Three dogs and one of the highest temps this summer in Phoenix, our hour was not over 95 degrees with nowhere to go. He offered a temporary fix a with five pounds of coolant but warned it would most likely be gone in a week or less with the holes our coils had. With little choice in the matter and becoming very ill from the heat, I said go ahead. The cost approximately 700.00.

A day later we had a sales rep come out and gave us an estimate. He was nice but my dad always told me to get a second estimate when confronted with something as expensive as this. I went online and search help about found one company with five stars from every reviewer! That is unheard of! Then I went on better business bureau, and three other review sites. Every single one of them had no bad marks against Hays air conditioning and people seemed pretty happy with the results.

Made a call and a technician from Hays named Mike came out and looked at our unit.he said basically the same thing as the other company but had pictures from his smartphone he took up in the attic to help us see exactly what was going on. This young man was very respectful of our home and I could tell he knew his business well. He told us the five pounds of coolant had already went down to three and the hole we had on the coils was pretty huge to leak that quickly.

We decided to call for an appointment for a someone to come to see what his estimate would be. and within the next day a sales rep name Jim came out and talked to us after he examined the unit. First thing he asked was what kind of units were we looking for and we were thinking of a two stage type which was recommended by the first company who came out. He explained to us how a variable units compared with a two stage and well as a simple one state unit. So many brands to choose from, so many variables in units...it was quite overwhelming. Jim was very nice, professional and not at all pushy. He left us with some information on the units we were thinking of and said to give him a call when we decided. Three agonizing days later after doing research on brands, energy savings and of course the outstanding reviews we read of Hays reputations and standing behind their work, we decided

Within two days they had our new Trane air conditioner installed. They said our old one had just run out of coolant as they dismantled it., it took them approximately eight hours to get everything up and running. Not even sure they took a lunch break! They were very efficient, polite and knowledgable. There names are Rich, Reg or Rey, and Robert. I cannot say enough good thing about this company and their team. I would highly recommend them  because they are honest and stand behind their products and service. And now that we had our first 116 degree day, we are so grateful we found them just in time. It's very refreshing to met a honest AC repair company.  I have used other AC companies in the past due to free or extremely cheap AC system inspection the repairman always turn into salesman. Celeb was straightforward and found part that was starting to weaken but did not pressure to replace it.

I've been a customer since 2012 and have all the confidence in the world with Cool Zone and their team. Honest, professional, and reasonable. I would highly recommend!

We decided to install a swamp cooler on our roof before the upcoming summer months. We found Arctic Fox online, requested contact through their website and were contacted back within one hour. Heath, the owner, came over to our house to discuss what we were looking for and to look at the existing system. He tied the swamp into the existing AC duct system, created custom duct panels to fit, and installed a custom water line. They showed up early in the morning, and worked throughout the day to get the system installed. They worked late to ensure the system was installed the same day. His quote for the work was right on and the entire team was very professional. We will, and already have, recommend Arctic Fox to anyone in the West Valley needing AC, heating, evap, or water heater work done. It was the best experience we have had with any company in this industry.

Great experience with Gladiate air conditioning. I had an appointment for a routine maintenance appointment. Gabe was great; very honest, knowledgeable and efficient. He found an issue with my air conditioner that could have given out in the middle of the summer and fixed it on the spot. I have been dealing with service people for quite some time now and this is a very good company, highly recommend!!!!

I actually only called Arizona's Dukes of Air to make sure that the estimate I got from another A/C company was reasonable and the very friendly woman who answered the phone was able to confirm that it was. She didn't have to do that and I really appreciate it.

Since I already had the other guys out, I am going to stick with them, but based on this customer service, I may consider switching to Arizona's Dukes of Air in the future.

David was awesome! I called at 4:00p in a pinch with family in town and my AC was not cooling the house despite it running all day. David spent 2 hours fully investigating what the issue, beyond the obvious that it had frozen up. He found a small blockage in a part deep inside the unit, and was able to restore the unit's ability to cool the house. It's a 12 year old unit that has been rebuilt improperly and although the unit works, we are ultimately using David / Biltmore Mechanical to replace with an entirely new system. Great guy and great neighbor!

Awesome company, and awesome team. I bought an AC with them last year and they came and did the install on time without any problem.  

Besides the install, they have come one more time to do preventive maintenance and check on the coolant.

In both times, the team has been awesome. The technicians are great and willing to answer any questions.

The text services that they have is also great, and they follow up promptly to any texts, sometimes even out of their schedule.

Fabulous company.  Chase was the 8th person who came out to replace my air conditioner. Six gave quotes. My maintenance company said I was out of freon and for $3500 he could see if he could find the leak.  Curtis came in checked the air conditioner and within 20 minutes said he found the leak, didn't see any other issues and for $1500 I had air almost immediately.  He is honest and interested in the care of his customer.  He now has a loyal customer.  No wonder Cave Creek Cooling has a 5 star rating.

So we just got back from vacation on Friday and then Saturday afternoon one of our AC units started making a pretty loud sound from it. i checked the air and it was still blowing cold air. 30 minutes later there was no sound coming from the AC unit but it was still blowing air, just not cold anymore.
i went on Yelp and reached out to a bunch of different AC companies but Alan's air answered my call immediately and said they could come over Sunday morning. On top of that they were by far the cheapest company to come out on a Sunday.
The next day came around and Alan himself called me letting me know they were running a bit late but would be over as soon as they finished another job. An hour later Alan showed up and was super friendly. They heard what we said was going on and hopped up on the roof and diagnosed it pretty fast as a we needed a new starter kit and dual capacitor. He could've easily told us we needed a new compressor or more but was super honest. Him and his partner finished the job by checking our other unit as well and added freon to both. Alan said everything else looked fine with the units and we were all set. great experience and we will use Alan for all of our AC needs in the future. Thank you Alan!

Great service and support.  What I needed was just a question answered on a 105 degree day.  They walked me through my challenge and helped avoid an unnecessary technician call.  I will be using them for my air conditioner checks and any service in the future.  They have forever earned my business.

I am grateful for how organized and responsive this company is. I was trying to get my problem diagnosed and an estimate for the repair. It took two tries and the direct involvement of Keith but I did receive what I felt was a fair estimate. While it was difficult to get any other company out to my house these guys were here the day after I called.
