Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

We had Larson come out to look at our heater as it would not start. Our service technician was Octavio and he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was able to fix our gas heater and install a carbon monoxide monitor in our house as we didn't have one. We knew we had an old unit and he was able to repair without the pressure of us purchasing a new unit. We will use Larson in the near future to install a new Trane as they have gained our trust and business. Thank you Larson and an especially shout out to Octavio.

I am removing my comments from my original 1 Star review due to Tom A (owner) and his wife posting negative comments on my employers Yelp page. My employer has nothing to do with the customer service or experience I had personally with American Home Water and Air.  I'm unsure how Tom A found out where I work but, I believe the negative reviews were in retaliation to my 1 Star review. Yelp reviews are for customers who have experienced a REAL CUSTOMER experience which, I did.

My employer contacted Tom A concerning the 2 negative reviews posted by Tom A and his wife. Tom A agreed to remove the two false/fake reviews if I remove my review. Why would he negotiate this with my employer? I attempt to have Tom A's review removed by contacting the BBB, unfortunately they do not assist with an issue like this.  So, begrudgingly, I removed my comments posted for AHWA and out of respect for my employer.  I feel Tom A's reviews were unfair and without merit. This does NOT negate the negative experiences I had with AHWA.  

Tom A recently commented on this review with regards to my employers reviews he posted: I have removed that review, because I promised her boss that I would., and I keep my promises. Now he has added a new negative review to my employers Google review page! PHOTO ADDED.  I am changing my review back to 1 star. He has accused me in his comments of being a deranged person/nut, rude, vindictive, a viper and now says I have emotional problems.  Tom A got had his feelings hurt and has not realized you cannot make every customer happy.  As you have commented, American Home has been in business for 33 years with over 60,000 customers. Those are good stats! Just be warned If you post a negative review, Tom A may find out who your employer is and post negative reviews attempting to disgrace YOU.

So professional! I was able to schedule an service appointment online. On the day of service, I received two phone calls letting me know that they were understaffed and apologizing for the delay. I also got a text when the tech (Tim) was on his way. When he arrived, he did a great job explaining everything to me and asking questions. After the routine maintenance, he sat down with me and went over my options for my (very old) AC unit - breaking down the cost of repairs versus total replacement. He was friendly and efficient!

We started having issues with our A/C unit about two months ago. We had only purchased our home a year ago so we were not happy about already having issues with the A/C. I asked for a bid from several companies to come out and see what the issue was with our unit. It had completely stopped working and the temp outside was 113 for the day so the house was getting hot quick. Philip jumped on our bid and offered to come out within two hours. He found the issues and quickly realized our unit had major problems from years of neglect. We had to get a new unit. Philip was able to get the unit running in the short term which lasted long enough for us to get financing in order. When we were ready to install the new unit they were quick to respond and came out the next business day. They had the installation complete in no time! The whole process was so simple thanks to Philip and Fran. I will be recommending Boldt HVAC to anyone and everyone that has a need and will be looking to use them for my companies work as well. In an industry where it can be hard to find a trustworthy company to do business with you can't go wrong with Boldt! Honest affordable pricing and great service!

Johnny just saved me a ton of money. My AC wasn't working and he was able to diagnose it over the phone. He called me back several times to check in on me and the system. Once it came back on he gave all the details on what I needed to do. Not only is he knowledgeable but kind and helpful. Thank you Johnny for helping me out! Can't wait to meet you when you come and do the maintenance.

We just installed our replacement Trane Air Conditioner after 20 years of faithful service in the Phoenix Desert. Over the past 2 years Hays serviced the old unit and said you still don't need to replace yet. Finally it was time and their crew did a spectacular job. Arrived at 7 and Done by 1pm. House was clean as could be and this included an attic install of the air exchanger. Looking forward to many years with our new Trane

I would recommend this company to everyone! Caleb and Misty are awesome :-) Misty always called and kept me in the loop about our services and Caleb was always polite and very knowledgeable. Great family business! We had to wait for our new unit to be ordered and delivered but Caleb was nice enough to go back to his shop to see if he had portable ac units to make my family comfortable. 5 stars to Cool Zone Air Conditioning and Heating! I attempted to install a new thermostat on Sunday and turned off the power like the directions said but  turned off to the AC, not the air handler and blew a fuse. My boyfriend found them on Yelp, have them a call and had David at my house within an hour and done in an hour, including the install of my new thermostat. David showed me how to program the new thermostat and didn't charge me an arm and a leg for quick service on a Sunday. Great service, Thank You!

So my thoughts are when the house hits 102 degrees, call Heath at Arctic Fox Heating and Air, (623) 533-5718, because he is seriously the best - and honest - and reasonable - keeps you updated, and does what he says he's going to do. We've had experiences with less than honest technicians from other company's and it's just not worth it.  We just gave him keys to the house for three days, and we stayed in an air conditioned hotel!  We completely trust Heath and his team, and have total respect for what he does.

Backed-up condensation line. Called Mon, Henry was here on-time on Tuesday. Spent :20 and got the line cleared. Very reasonable price compared to other AC companies, wanting to charge $200 or more. Will definitely use this company again. Thank you!

May of 2018 I hired Arizona Dukes of Air to come out and perform a tune up on both of my air conditioner units. I was told I was low on Freon so I agreed to add Freon to one of the units and the bill total came out to $750. Two months later the same a/c unit that Freon was added to went out. I called Dukes of Air again to come out and take a look. I was advised that the air conditioner tripped and there was a button inside that can make the air conditioner reset. I asked the technician what caused the problem, and I was advised that it seemed to have been overcharged and it was the only issue that was found with the unit. Arizona Dukes of Air proceeded to charge me an additional $176 for the diagnostic of the issue. So initially, not only did I pay for too much Freon that the unit needed, but they charged me an additional $176 to fix (most likely) their own problem performed two months prior. They fixed the issue hence the two stars but I will definitely be moving forward with a different a/c company in the future.....

Update: After my initial review, Patrick the general manager of Dukes of Air reached out to me to discuss the situation and we both agreed I should not have been charged for the 2nd visit. I received a check in the mail from Dukes of Air for the full refund of the 2nd visit ($176) which was very much appreciated. 4 stars

I contacted them after their business hours because my AC stopped working. They reached out via text and offered some temporary solutions to get through the night and came over the check the system first thing the next morning. I ended up replacing the entire system with them, too--they were transparent throughout the system and very efficient, and even fixed a problem with the dryer duct they happened to discover in the attic. I had some very basic questions I had to ask, and everyone I have interacted with were patient and helpful.

Michael was very responsive from the first call. He called on his way to the appointment to let us know he was on his way. He was prompt, friendly and did a great job on our air conditioner! Would definitely use him again!! Highly recommend!

WOW! 10/10 service from Alan's Air!

Our AC broke around 7am and I called them around 8:30am. Alan's Air said they would come between 12-2pm. I assumed they said that time frame because they would be coming at 2 BUT NO they came at 12!! I was pleasantly surprised and soo happy that they were there- the man that came to fix the AC was so friendly and got right to the problem and knew how to fix it- he was probably here for 30-45 minutes max to fix everything we needed. He was interactive but also knew he was there to get a job done. I will be calling Alan's Air for the rest of my AC troubles because the process was so easy. I would give them more stars if I could! Our AC has been working since the moment he left. The pricing was reasonable and it was an overall great experience.

Ideal Energy is AMAZING!!! I had the company come out and bid the work for my AC, duct work, and insulation. They were extremely professional, competitively priced, clean, on time, and did QUALITY work. I wish I could post pics to show my SRP scorecards and the quality of the work, but I'll summarize. In July 2012, before installation of the new AC (Trane) and duct work, my home had a scorecard rating of 10 (least efficient), and in August I had dropped to a 4 (in 1 month), and now consistently receive scores of 2-3. My home is 2 stories and approximately 2000 sq ft w/ no pool. My bills in 2012 went from $380 (July) to $215 (August) to $190 (September), and in 2011 my bills were $395 (July) to $470 (August) to $505 (September). The owners of Ideal Energy LLC also took their time to research all of the government/energy credits and assisted me in making the process simple to receive my credits/refunds. Wouldn't choose another company in the valley! Cheers!

My a/c stopped blowing cold air on the hottest day of the year, a Sunday, at 5:30pm. I tried calling multiple places that advertise same day service, not one of them could come before the next day. I called Desert Comfort Mechanical after searching 24/7 ac service on Yelp. As mentioned on their Yelp page, I was calling after hours so no one answered my call but I left a voicemail at 6:35pm, I received a call from Fadel 20 minutes later saying that he could be at my house within 20 minutes. He was very friendly and was able to get the ac working quickly. He also came back the next day to replace a part and was very quick. I felt the price was very fair and I am very happy with the service I received from Fadel. I will definitely be using Desert Comfort Mechanical for all my future ac needs!

We have used ProSkill for over the eight years that we have lived in Anthem for all of our plumbing and HVAC needs and have never been disappointed with their friendly and professional service. Today Tyler serviced our ro system and drained the water heater. Nothing tough at all but double checked all connections so all was well when he left. They are always on time and call ahead. Great company. Great value and Service.

The technician was top notch.  In this day and age you get so many excuses for poor service.  I get tired of being told by a company we have issues due to the pandemic.  Rising Sun Air is old school.  They are honest on time and excellent at what they do.  I for sure will call them the next time I have issues with my AC.

We told you the unit was banging--we paid another company $83 to tell us it was the contacts. SRP audited your install and you failed to inform us about our restrictive filter, vents that reduced air flow. We weren't happy with the bang but decided to see what the auditors said--they told us the bang is a problem with Trane. We appreciate your response to our questions and your return visits just wish we had known about the bang before we bought it. Guess my issue is with Trane, not so much Sure Temp.
