Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

I contacted Larson to install a smartthermostat we'd been given as a gift (meaning we weren't convinced this was something we needed or wanted). Jamie was very efficient in scheduling - we received both a call and a text the morning of the appointment (it was nice having a picture of the technician). Victor arrived with another technician (apprentice, I assume). BOTH were professional, polite, and personable. They proceeded to install the thermostat and were extremely helpful in answering questions, showing us how it works, etc.
I will use Larson from now on.....and recommend them without hesitation to others!  AND we really like the thermostat because the technicians made it so easy!

Needed a new RO system and gave these fellas a call to get an estimate. Figured it's the least I could do driving right by on the I-17 twice a day every day for most of my life.

Can't speak highly enough of my experience with them. Honest and up front pricing, with extremely courteous installation technicians make this team a winner in my book. You can be assured they go above and beyond to earn their 5 star Yelp rating, which is well deserved!

Was thrilled to find out they also service water heaters, softeners, and HVAC units. I know who to call next time I need service in any of those areas!

Our AC went out, in July, and the inside temperature of our home was in the high 80s.  We were in desperate need of a repair and saw the positive Yelp reviews for 1st Choice Mechanical.  I reached out and was able to get in touch with someone right away who scheduled an appointment for us.  Within a few minutes, I received a call back that they could get someone out within an hour which is a VERY pleasant surprise.  The technicians were extremely professional and knowledgeable.  Unfortunately, we did need a whole new system, but they were able to create a solution to kick start our existing unit and get some cool air flowing while we waited for the replacement.  I was extremely pleased with all aspects of their service and will absolutely be keeping their information close by for the future!

The reviews are worth the hype. The office support was friendly when scheduling the appointment, and Mike came out next day and saved me potentially hundreds had I gone with someone else. Mike is extremely transparent, and took the time to educate me on my system and how someone may have messed up a valve by glueing on a cap due to a previous potential leak. He was in and out in under 30-45 minutes. I would recommend this company to family and friends. (Water lines in blower cleaned out and freon added)

I am SO thrilled I found this local company. I have absolutely found someone I will be using in the future that is quick, honest, and has good pricing. That being said, these are the reasons I feel that way:

1. I originally contacted them Fourth of July weekend when my ac stopped working. I explained the issue to them and they quickly told me what they thought it was and how I could troubleshoot it myself in order to save money. Their steps works and my ac was running great again. It was a five minute phone call and did not cost me a thing.

2. My heater has not worked in my house for literally ten years. I have called 3 of the large corporate ac companies throughout the last decade  to look at it. Each one of them told me in order for it to be fixed, I needed to get an entirely new unit. My ac is amazing (which in ac is the more important part honestly) and so we just dealt with the no heat. However, this winter we have a newborn and heat is now more important. I remembered this company from my July experience and my gut told me to just give them a call just to see if by chance they could fix it.

I called at 8am Friday and they were on my roof by 10:30am Friday. More importantly my heater was working by 10:38am Friday. I was floored!!

It was the same part that the other companies had told me was broken, but they knew how to quickly fix it and for only $80. I'm still shocked I went a DECADE without a heater when it was a five minute fix and $80 cost. I wish I had found them sooner.

The last way they showed me their honesty is due to something that happened when they were leaving. I paid the bill in cash and being so happy with their services I gave extra cash as aholiday thank you. He must not have heard me say there was a holiday tip and as  he was walking away he counted the cash and turned around to tell me that it was too much. It was cash. He could've not said a single thing. I know with confidence if I ever overpaid by accident in the future they would let me know. I don't believe other companies would do the same. I also don't feel they will ever push me to a new unit for their gain, unlike the THREE other companies that tried to do that.

If you are looking for an honest, fast,  good priced ac company, I cannot recommend them any higher. I truly hope this review helps someone decide to book them, as they deserve any new customers they can get from it.

Just the facts:
After reading this, also look at the PS that resulted from the owner's attention.  I was out of town and received a call that a heater in a rent house was not working.  Called Hays--first time I used them.  They told me that a service call was $70 plus repairs and that the technician would call to authorize repairs.  When the call did not come I called the tenant.  The technician had come and gone--discovered it was only the gas valve in the off position--turned it on, furnace was working, and left.  Got a call from Hays asking for $160.  According to the technician, the extra $90 was for the safety check.  I mailed a check so they have no cause for complaint.  
This does not square with all the previous glowing reviews.
Does this deserve one star?  Yes--they should have been more up front about the charges.

PS.  The owner called and admitted a mistake in the charges.  It has to do with what the technician writes down and this technician was new to the company.  A refund is being processed.  Will raise the rating another notch when received.  I will try them again and then Hays may deserve a 5 star rating.
PSS: Received a refund of $90.

What a great experience. Darrin and his crew did a fantastic job. They could have replaced what we had, the way it already was and been done. But Instead, they reconfigured duct work and the furnaces for us to get maximum air flow.  We couldn't believe the difference.

This company is extremely professional and goes above and beyond. It was a great customer experience.

So impressed with the level of professionalism and knowledge of the company and tech who came to my home for the tune up. I didn't have any particular issues that warranted any maintenance, but I had a ton of questions that were all confidently answered and left me assured. I did ultimately move forward with some preventative maintenance, but did not feel pressure to do so. I'll continue to go to Cool Zone in the future for all my A/C needs.

I am so blown away by the service we received from Arctic Fox, Heath is amazing!  We were so impressed with how fast he was able to diagnose and fix our ac...and in July!  Only waiting a few hours was a complete blessing in the middle of summer.  We are so thankful to Heath and will be only calling Arctic Fox from now on!

Responded quickly and arrived to do seasonal A/C and gas furnace checks in matter of days. Technician observed mask and social distancing in addition to shoe covers. He was friendly and polite. I will continue to contact them for any furnace and A/C needs.

Scheduled a job to rip out an old standard A/C unit and install a new Mini Split in a new location. Had a million things to do and Arizona's Dukes of Air sent 5 guys to crank out the job! That was the first sign of awesomeness.  Freddie, Manny, Luis, Beto, and Danny arrived on time after calling they were on their way and got right to work. They split up and had the old unit and its parts out and were getting the new unit in as well. They were SO polite, professional, and got the job done early as well.  

This is our second A/C replacement with Dukes of Air and we've also had our vents moved to become more efficient.  Call these guys if you want a great job done easily and right the first time.

Fantastic customer service and communication. I called on a Sunday over a holiday weekend and was able to coordinate someone to come look at an AC unit on a rental property the next morning. David text me when he was on the way. He kept me informed via text - even sending me a video explaining the issue. I live out of state so this was very much appreciated! Everything was fixed within an hour or so. Much less stressful than I was expecting, given an AC issue in the middle of the hot summer!

I logged on to Yelp just to write this review.  My tenant in AZ called and said that they AC went out.  I am 3K miles away so I looked on yelp.  I called Bumble Bee and they were awesome.  The woman who answered the phone explained everything to me.  Got someone over there that day.  The bill with only 232 dollars when they could have charged me 4K and I wouldn't have know the difference.  What an awesome company to work with.  Next time I need AC work done, they will be the company to do it.  One other thing.  The woman who answered the phone asked me for the tenants name and phone number so they could contact the tenant directly.  Awesome!  Normally I need to beg companies to do this.  They were the ones that brought it up.  Thank you Bumble Bee Air Conditioning!  It was a joy to work with your company.

An update. Mike came over, not due to a problem, but for Maintenance as we soon enter 'that Season' when Air Conditioning will likely be called on.
He throughly checked out, and cleaned each of my 3 Units, and determined that each, albeit over 20 years old, is functioning well. He is professional, and
gives one assurance. You cannot wish for more.

We discovered an air filter was never installed in a house we acquired.  The house was flipped three years ago and the filter was never installed.  When I installed the filter, i started to get whistling noise, so I called Alan (he answers all of the phone calls!),  He diagnosed the problem over the phone - he was sure it was because of the dust that had accumulated in the furnace due to lack of a filter.  Alan promptly sent one of his service people who cleaned out all of the accumulated dirt.  Not only did the whistle go away, the furnace is running much better now.  I could not be a happier customer with the great service, prompt attention to the problem furnace, and quick resolution.

My house was built in 81. On the suggestion of my electric company I decided to get my ductwork inspected. Alex came out and suggested a decent overhaul of the old system. New registers, new flex duct work, removal of swamp cooler ducts and sealed throughout. While the job wasn't cheap, I am amazed by the results. Mike Weaver and his crew came out and had a very professional, yet relaxed demeanor. He brought a crew of 6 young men who were very knowledgeable and allowed me to ask questions throughout. My AC units efficiency has improved dramatically. The amount of air I was losing has left me regretting not getting this done sooner. The sheer amount of new air being processed is unreal. Moreover, the noisy unit has become very calm and quiet. I cannot wait to see how much this also improves the quality of air in my home, as they removed old insulation and blew in 1400 more sq ft. Thank you to the crew. I highly recommend them. Top notch. They also left my home as it was before they came.

Great plumbing work. Tech explained everything he was doing. Discussed all my options. Fixed the problem fast.

I called Rising Sun Air to inquire about their seasonal tune up/winter check. I was able to schedule an appointment for the same day and the technicians that came out were great. They inspected my ac unit and made sure everything was functioning properly and running the way it is supposed to be before the colder months start rolling in. Rising Sun Air was fast, responsive, and professional. I definitely recommend using them and would give them my business in the future if I ever have any ac issues.

Sure Temp installed a new roof top gas pack.  Not only did they offer a very competitive price, they included a 10 yr 3rd party labor warranty .  The install was seamless and they were very clean and professional.  I really appreciated the owner reaching out by text and making sure everything was going according to plan.  I had 5 companies give me a quote.  Overall very happy with my choice of Sure Temp!
