We needed a 45 foot tree removed asap because the tree was splitting at the trunk and it could have fallen at any time.  It made us very nervous.  I reached out to several tree trimmers.  Spring Landscaping responded immediately and they came over and gave us a very good quote.  They came out the next day and took care of the job.  They did an excellent job at a very reasonable price.  They were very courteous and very efficient.   The cleanup also was very thorough.  We have a lot of trees in our yard, they are my tree trimmers from now on.  I recommend this company.  Thanks Walter and Luis

It was great dealy directly with the owner of the company! Irene put a huge amount of personal attention into our backyard and exceeded our expectations! Crew worked really hard, cleaned up daily, finished early and knew what they were doing! We had them add a patio and complete backyard makeover. Could not be happier! These guys are amazing! I shopped around to multiple different companies and they were the best value hands down. They are competitive on pricing but their product was far better then anyone else. They got my job done in 4 days and were very respectful of my home. They cleaned up after themselves and were very friendly. Mike came by everyday to check on the progress and make sure that I was happy with the job. I have already recommended them to my friends!

We needed our front yard completed quickly and with in a reasonable price we are young new homeowners are are working with in a strict budget. The guys at landscaping Ortiz we're AMAZING!! They showed up when they said they were and we're always responsive and completed the job VERY quickly!! We will definitely use them again and I would suggest them to anyone.

I requested an estimate to have two large palm trees trimmed, and even though it was the weekend, he super responsive! We scheduled a time as soon as he had availability. He and his team came first thing Monday morning. They did a great job! Very fairly priced, very responsive, thorough, quick and clean - I would highly recommend.

Sal's team was very responsive and communicative. They knocked out a landscape cleanup (removed a hot tub stand/deck), irrigation repairs, planted a new tree, and laid down new sod.

We hired hector because his bid showed attention to detail and a very fair price. He and his crew showed up on time and spent a couple of days of hard work getting it just right. Changes in mid-work--no problem at all; he was very reasonable and followed through on everything.

We love what he did and how our front and back yards look.

Came out and cleaned up my yards. Showed up on the day and time he said he would, and even care back to fix a couple things a few days later. Definitely looking forward to using him again.

After getting multiple quotes we went with happy tree landscaping. They were awesome. Very professional and Paul was there with any issue or question we had. Called to set up appointment. Said they would come next morning to evaluate job and would come the day after if estimate was approved. Did not show. Waited a few hours after set time. No call/ no show.

Naji was a pleasure to work with. I do not own my home, but it was in need of a really good cleanup, and that's EXACTLY what I received. I've had many flyers and business cards come to the house and left at the door, but his is the only one that seemed reasonable. And it was! Super competitive pricing! I called him up, he came to the house ASAP for a quick quote...and when the work was completed, I actually paid less than originally quoted amount due to his $25 off coupon--which converted into some of the crews tip. They trimmed 2 large trees, 2 small trees, 2 bushes, and extracted 4 roots from the yard that need to be taken away. They also mowed the lawn, blew & carried away all the debris, then sprayed the yard for future weeds. The only issue I had was they were not here on-time, but Naji made it up, and his crew was here the very next day really early, as he ensured my home would be the first stop of the day. In about 2 hours, my front/bark yard turned from a disaster, into an immaculate display again. Thank you Naji and your crew's hard work! Will be calling again!!! =)

Correspondence with Eli started off well, and I really wish I could have dealt with him only because I'm sure this would have never ended up where it did.

I was passed on to Heather to schedule an appointment and had initially asked for Thursday or Friday because I had more flexibility those days.

I received an email Monday asking advising they had availability 9am-11am and if I could do that. I responded and said it was going to be tight and needed to leave at 11am for an appointment. I nearly called off the visit for Tuesday all together because I didn't receive confirmation of the appointment until that morning (after what I went through I really wish I had). Heather advised me they could work with my regarding having to leave at 11am.

At around 11am Tuesday, I receive a call from George that he is going to be another 15 minutes and kept asking me to wait.. I explained I had to go to an appointment (and already told Heather this) and they charge me for no shows. I advised George it just wasn't going to work out and to not bother showing up because the whole point was to come up with a plan together. George insisted he was going to come by regardless (against my wishes I might add) and draft up a plan without me there? I'm sorry but that's pretty disturbing. George also wouldn't let me off the phone, I had to hang up on him because he wasn't getting the hint.

I found out later that day George did show up to my property - that is so not ok, I've honestly been fuming since this incident.

To add insult to injury, George texts me asking for my business saying he will give me a 15% discount, yet the special on Yelp was for 20% off.. so he thinks I wouldn't clue into this? The whole experience was just wrong all around.

Later that day I got another e-mail from Heather asking to reschedule for Thursday (of course, now they want to give me the day I asked for). But after my experience with George? Nope and nope.. I responded with my frustration and experience of the whole incident and no one ever got back to me with so much as a sorry.

Well, that was a clear sign this project just was not going to work out with AMS.

This is an awesome company! They worked so hard on my yard!! It was full of weeds/trash, they turned my embarrassing ugly backyard into a clean and functional yard. I am so very pleased with the work they did. They went above and beyond! I can't say enough good things. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. We will be using sun of the valley from here on out! Thank you so much for all the work you guys did!

We are very happy with the dedicated service we received from Ruben, who fixed our sprinkler heads and system.  He had a smile on his face the whole time; he meticulously diagnosed the issues; he thoroughly explained his plan for the repairs; he saw the job through to completeness, even working on Saturday; and we discussed the other services All Terrain Landscaping of Greeley, Colorado has to offer as we plan to hire them back for lawn care and landscaping.  We recommend their services and their technician Ruben.

Octavio did an excellent job revitalizing my desert landscape and at a great price. They did a good job communicating and provided same day service. I would recommend Jaguar Landscaping.

I messaged Omar and he got back to me same day. Kept me updated on what time he would arrive to give me an estimate. We agreed on a price and day for him to do my yard. True to his word he checked in with me the day before and day of. Got right to work and did a fantastic job at a reasonable price! Dependable, reliable service. I highly recommend!

Juan came out for an estimate.  Very nice and prompt, however we never received a follow up with an estimate.  It's been about 2 months.  
You never get a second chance to make a good first impression.

Update to Original Review

I received the quote from Juan this morning (a few hours after original post).   Looks like he did send the quote mid-December 2021, however I never received the quote.   I'm changing my rating and will update if we chose this contractor for our project.

My wife and I bought our home last year, but the previous owners didn't do much for landscaping in the backyard.  The side patio (if you can call it that) was tiny and faced the block wall so there's not much of a view and not much space for seating.  After saving up, we began accumulating estimates that we sent out and requested via Yelp!  Ruben at Nico's Landscaping was the first to respond last week Sunday when I submitted the request.  Despite it being a Sunday evening, he answered all of my questions promptly, professionally and gave me all of the information I needed.  It's tough to chat about projects like this without actually seeing the area first hand.

Ruben called me the following day and advised he would be in my area the next day.  Despite me not getting home from work until after 4 p.m., he worked around my schedule and met me at home shortly thereafter.  This was a very nice surprise and extremely accommodating on his behalf.  My wife and I were so appreciative!  We explained what we wanted done and also told him we wanted patio pavers in a gray-scale color.  He took note of all of the information we gave him and went to work the next day locating the (2) pallets of gray pavers we needed to complete our project!  In a very short period of time, he accumulated the pavers and said he could get started as early as the following Saturday... just 6 days from the original Yelp request!  AMAZING!!!

He said he would be at our home at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and it was 6:58 a.m. when he showed up... PERFECTION!!  He and his crew pulled a 9-hour day on Saturday and they even came back today (Sunday) to complete the job in its entirety.  The paver patio slopes away from the house so water isn't accumulated.  He locked in the entire outer edge with concrete and leveled everything out as it should be.  They cut any custom pieces that needed to be cut and no paver was out of place.  The existing gaps were filled in tightly and compacted with dense said to keep everything rigid and professional.  The entire project is approx. 20' L and 8' W.  It's not an enormous space by any stretch of the imagination, but it is perfect for my wife and I.  We have plenty of room to stretch out, do some BBQ'ing and relaxing in our backyard.  

I would not hesitate to recommend Ruben and his entire crew at Nico's Landscaping to my family, friends or fellow Yelp'ers.  They were all professional, polite and more than accommodating to the schedules of my wife and I.  He text me when he said he would.  He called me when he said he would.  He showed up and completed the job when he said he would AND the best part?  His estimate was LOWER than the other businesses who contacted me MUCH later than Ruben!  (in fact, a few businesses did not even bother to respond to my quote request!)

Thanks again, Ruben to you and your crew!  We will most definitely use you again in the future!
