Mike did a great job estimating my job and did so very quickly and with good communication. These guys are a great value for their turf products and installation.

Customer service and communication were great. We received prompt response for the landscape work estimate.  the personal showed up as promised and they showed up on time within a short time.   The landscape co. came to our home evaluated the needed work  and gave an estimate On the next day.  The company personal are exceptionally  nice and friendly, I recommend their work. The only draw back was that the received service landscape estimate for the full work operation was above the average that is going for our area of similar homes, and we're unable to hire the company to completed the landscape work at this time due to budgeting yet, we will consider hiring this company in the future for their customer friendly service, punctuality and prompt response.

My lawn hasn't been maintained for a few months and the recent rain jumpstarted a lot of growth (and weeds).
Miguel responded immediately via Yelp and showed up this morning to check out my yard and give me a quote. Miguel offered a reasonable and competitive price and was able to come back the same afternoon to fix up my landscaping. I'm grateful that he was able to get started so quickly as my yard was in complete disarray before him. He mentioned he also does other landscape work (laying down pavers and helping diver rain water away from my property since my area is prone to flooding) so I'll update my review after those are completed.

Sal came out and gave us an estimate and then came out again the next day to help us with a leak in our drip system that started when another company came out to test the system.  We were so appreciative that he came out and helped us because the other company would not come back out and wanted us to wait and have water leaking around our home's foundation.  Sal installed a new drip system and we are excited to have him continue to maintain our yard.  We will also be having him put grass in our backyard when we are ready and he already set up the system so it will be ready when we are.

I've done business with Nevarez Landscaping and Construction, twice now. I am very pleased with their work. The father-son family owned business, take great pride in their work. They have a great staff, as well. They were really helpful with input and ideas, when we told them what we were thinking of doing, with our backyard. The father really impressed me, during our first meeting. He was so excited and full of energy, and ideas. They were very reasonable, and happy to take our business, despite our budget. They gave us so many options of things to do, within our budget. They installed our sod, sprinklers, drip lines, border, and built us a wonderful retaining wall. They added extra drip lines to our planter area, without our request and at no additional cost. They gave us a reasonable warranty on the work and plants......even extended our plant warranty, when we were unsure that they would take, due to the timing of our project. It's been six months, since the project was completed. I called about some advice on a problem I was having with a leaking valve. Hector was quick to respond. He advised me of my options and even suggested a better quality model of what I needed.  He worked with me on a price that we both thought was fair. He scheduled the job for the very next day, despite him having to work on another project. Even though he was unable to keep the initial agreed upon start time, he made contact to schedule a later time, and arrived shortly afterwards. Well, the job took longer than either one of us thought it would, but Hector and his worker wanted to make sure it was done right. After all that, Hector was professional enough to look into a couple of areas that I was concerned about, regarding my first project. He was attentive and resourceful. I highly recommend this family owned, father-son team. I would definately call and consider them for any future projects. I very much enjoy the time spent out back. I love to show off the backyard to family and friends, when they are over for partys and bbq's.

Pablo and Carlos are awesome! Their team was fast and did an amazing job. I recommend them with more than 5 stars. I will definitely call them again.

This crew did the work as promised on time and without any changes to the budget for the project. Had my entire front drip system replaced plants pulled and replaced and re-rocked the entire front. Awesome service great communication first rate job. Will surely use Astonishing for all my landscaping needs

Every time Happy Tree Landscaping comes on here and lies I will update my review. This is what they said WE offered to fix this but you and your husband removed ALL THE TURF AND DEMANDED FULL REFUND. THIS VOIDED YOUR WARRANTY.
This is an absolute LIE. Another LIE.
We have NOT removed the turf. Never have. It still looks just as crappy as ever. We NEVER demanded a refund. We requested they repair the turf and remove the sod underneath (which they NEVER did).
Someone suggested I get ahold of News Station 5 on Your Side to report them, which I probably will due. Companies like this should be held accountable.
If you like throwing money down the toilet or crappy workmanship Happy Tree is just for you. Otherwise, don't even think about giving them a shot. There's a good chance you'll regret it.

Raul has never actually done work for me. I contacted him based on all the positive reviews I read on here. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate on mowing grass, spraying a few weeds (literally as few), then maintaining the yard by coming back every 2 weeks.
To mow my grass, front and back, Raul quoted me $180.00 To say I was shocked would have been an understatement.  The last landscaper I had moved out of State, hence why I needed a new one, and he charged  me $110/month and mowed the grass once a week.  The grass hadn't been cut in 3 weeks, so it's not to say I had a forest growing. I wanted to  include pictures with my review to give a very clear idea of what Raul believed was $180.00 worth of work and worth $160/month to mow the grass twice a month.
Since Raul left last week, I received 2 other quotes. The final price I paid to mow my grass (front and back) was less than $100.00 and the monthly cost for once a week mowing is also $100/month. Raul, I have no trees, no shrubs nothing for you to cut other than grass and yet for less than an hours worth of work, you believed this was worth $180 of your time? A yard the size of a small putting green in front and back.
Sorry Raul, I disagree with your pricing.  I think you came to my home and made a lot of assumptions, including that I would pay something so astronomical to mow grass. The price Raul wanted to charge was nothing less than gouging.

Devin was prompt and professional. From the day he provided his original estimate to the time his crew finished the project, Devin was extremely accommodating in the multiple changes I made to our original plans.

His crew did an amazing job in completing all requested tasks and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. We couldn't be any happier with the work they did!

Great customer service.  Very responsive, and they answer my questions in a very timely manner.  They are always willing to help with special requests and they make me feel valued as a customer.

I have no reason to lie about your business. Everything I said was 100% accurate. Your guys did come back and trim the tree they missed BUT they did NOT return and rake the rocks again. My home surveillance will show that your lying about that. If your not lying about the gate code then your crew is lying to you. The code still works to this day. Your company now has a 2 star rating on Yelp which says a lot!!  You want better reviews and a more successful company then start being honest with your customers and NEVER lie or make promises you can not keep.

We used Alll Terrain Landscape to do a major backyard project... We removed all of our lime stone and replaced it with travertine. We are on a half an acre and we did our patio, all of our walkways, all around our pool, a border around the grass area, as well as a picnic area.  It was a huge project... Cost over $30,000. Initially the project went well.  The best thing I can say about the project was the designer... She was super easy to work with, she listened, she checked into the project to make sure it was going smoothly.  However, during the process, before we ever even started the project, we were very clear with them that we had two issues that we needed them to work with us on. First, we do Animal Rescue so at the time we had eight dogs so we needed to make sure that we had access to the backyard for as long as possible so they could go outside to go to the bathroom. We also we're going out of town the weekend after the project started. We made it very clear that the dogs needed to have access to the backyard which meant that they needed at least a small part of the back patio so they could go out the dog door and we would fence off the rest of the area. It came to the time when we were going out of town and right before we left, they laid the travertine right up to the back door but it had not been grouted and could not be walked on.  We called to express our frustration that we could not have been any more clear that we needed to have access to the patio for the dogs to get outside when we went out of town that weekend. They seemed completely unconcerned. The next issue was that on a Friday afternoon, they left all of their trash all over our front yard, left for the day, and were not planning on being back until the following Tuesday as that Monday was a holiday. I'm not talking construction materials... I'm talking about actual trash all over our front yard. I called them from the airport just before I was getting on the plane very upset about this telling them that they could not leave that mess all over our front yard, we have neighbors and we live in an HOA.  Our project manager Adam refused to call me back and instead called my husband because Adam felt that I was too upset. Talk about sexist and disrespectful!  

That was in February. The project ended and we pointed out multiple areas where they they left their pencil marks that they used to mark cuts in multiple places all over the tile. We were told that was normal and the sun would just bleach that out... What?!?!  You don't lay tile that has pencil marks all over it and if you do then you need to remove the pencil marks. The next issue was multiple large areas that they did not grout. They sent someone out to re-grout but still we had major areas that weren't grouted. They sent someone else out to re-grout again but still we have many areas without grout.  

They also spilled so much construction material into our pool.  We had large piles of mortar that turned into cement all over the sides and bottom of our pool.  I told Adam about this and he said our pool guy would just be able to brush this down.  Nope, it was like cement.  Our pool guy tried several times but couldn't get it off.  So, I waited until the pool warmed up enough for me to actually get in the pool and again, this stuff was like cement, it could not be removed.  I stopped calling Adam about this issue because he repeatedly blew me off and went directly to a supervisor at the office who finally sent someone out to clean it up.  We had to drain our entire pool in order to get all this stuff off the bottom of the pool.  So frustrating!

Fast forward to now... Six months later and we still have many, many areas that have no grout. We have multiple areas that have grass and weeds that grow up through the tile because there should be polymer grout in the seams to prevent this from happening. We have cracked tiles. They made a cover for our pool basket but the cover sits up so high above the actual lid that covers the hole where the skimmer basket is that a child stepped on it and it broke in half from the weight.  

I called them on Monday to address these issues and I was told someone would come out on Thursday. It got to be mid day on Thursday and I didn't hear from anyone so I called the office and was told that they had talked to the project manager who said that they were going to wait until sometime later in October to come out and check these issues because it was too hot. I kid you not... A landscaping company in the Phoenix area said that they would not come out and look at our issues because It's too hot.  It's in the low 100s upper 90s this week and next... What about that is too hot to come out and take a look at these issues?  We paid over $30,000 for this backyard and the customer service has been ridiculous. I would not only not use this company again but I would not recommend them.

We have been using jaguars landscaping for a little close to 8 months and everytime they have done amazing work. Octavio is very friendly and willing to work with you. I appreciate everything they've done for us! You should use them for your yard!

Omar just left.  I am VERY happy with his work.  My front & back yards look better than I have seen them in years.  His prices are reasonable.  The 3 guys worked non-stop for 1 hour and one guy actually ran back and forth between tasks.   They trimmed the low hanging branches (twigs) on the trees, shaped all the shrubs, spot sprayed for weeds, mowed, blew EVERYTHING twice (some places 3 times).

Give him a chance and he will workout for you I'm sure.

Juan came out for an estimate.  Very nice and prompt, however we never received a follow up with an estimate.  It's been about 2 months.  
You never get a second chance to make a good first impression.

Update to Original Review

I received the quote from Juan this morning (a few hours after original post).   Looks like he did send the quote mid-December 2021, however I never received the quote.   I'm changing my rating and will update if we chose this contractor for our project.

Great work and finished on the date I was told. Everything came out leveled and clean. I would recommend them to anyone.
