As I rely on Yelp ratings when picking a service provider  - my first call was to BV given their glowing reviews.  From start to finish - all interactions were excellent.  Billy got someone out promptly to provide an estimate - the price was very reasonable in my opinion.  Most appreciated was the fact that Billy/Cory were able to work me into the schedule quickly as my needs were time sensitive.  The crew showed up on time and were professional x10 - my project scope was full yard cleanup (trimming everything that the extreme heat allows, removing all the leaves/petal debris, remove a dead tree, planting a few new plants, etc).  

Further illustrating Billy's commitment to customer satisfaction/excellence - there was a minor issue with the removed tree (hidden drip line that was causing pooled water / and a low spot) - I called Billy and he had these items corrected the very next morning.  

Everything looks nicely manicured and tidy now - two thumbs up!  Would not hesitate to use Billy and his excellent team again; and would refer them to anyone looking for quality / reliable service at a fair price.  (Added bonus - every single person working for BV was SUPER nice/polite, and clearly committed to exception service/quality of work).

I can't say enough good things about Think Green and Angelique, my designer.

I have a giant yard (almost an acre) that needed a total remodel on a challenging budget.  It required total reimagining and fairly complex grading.  We put in a full basketball court, outdoor kitchen, circle driveway, 2 fire pits, and tons of giant concrete planters.  This was not a small or easy project.

They completed the project on time (minus a few loose ends associated with ordering planters and gates, which was beyond their control) and on budget (minus items I chose to add).  

But most importantly, Angelique was an absolute joy to work with, and she truly treated my yard as if it was her own.  We talked daily during the project, and she was so knowledgeable and insightful, and she helped me make decisions I couldn't make.  I don't know or understand plants, so I left that completely to her.  She had taken the time to truly understand my style and preferences, so it turned out perfect (as if I picked out every single plant myself).  I'm a busy working mom, and the time and energy she saved me is worth a value I can't put in dollars.

When my yard was flooded by a backed up flood irrigation valve across the street, my neighbor called Think Green (their number was on a sign in the yard).  Angelique jumped in her truck and raced to my house where she single-handedly averted a total crisis at my home (all while I was at work blissfully ignorant it was going on).  Again treating my yard as her own.

The quality of their design and their work is top notch (Berghoff quality...actually probably better).  And the small company is full of genuinely good people that are enjoyable to be around.

I read reviews on Think Green before I hired them and my one apprehension was related to comments on responsiveness.  BEFORE I hired them, I did have a tiny bit of trouble with that.  But once I became  a client, that issue was nonexistent, and I now know they prioritize their existing clients--meaning prospective clients that could be window shoppers may get slightly slower response time.

I rarely write reviews and I wasn't asked to write this one--Think Green and Angelique earned it.  I can't imagine why anyone would hire any other landscape company in Phoenix.

Made appointment and nobody ever showed. Nobody made an attempt to reach out afterward. This is the second landscape company I've tried to get a quote from and nobody has showed for the appointment. Not sure if it's just my luck or something else?! Either way my business will go elsewhere. Peoples time is important.

Isai and his team did a wonderful job waterproofing outside of my house.  It was a large job requiring trenching 5 ft deep trench around outside basement wall.  They installed plastic, foam, stucco, tar and some additional plastic.   They also connected the gutter system in backyard to have water run out to front yard and away from house.   They completed the job in a couple weeks, I thought it would take much longer.   Prior to this work, we would normally get seepage inside the house with water accumulating on basement floor during storms in several places.    After this work was completed, we had 0 water coming into basement after this last storm in Mesa.

I am very satisfied with their work and would use them again in a heart beat.

Wow the job isn't even finished and I'm already posting a 5 star review. First their bid was half of the 2 other companies I contacted. Echoing prior posts Jose gave me a quote in the morning 2 hours later they started the job. A job which other companies told me would take all day (in order to justify their outrageous quotes) Jose and his crew will finish in about 3 hours. I had 2 trees removed ,way to close to my house, both removed with great care and no damage. As I type they're cleaning up every last scrap. Save your self aggravation and call Jose first.

Lucio was very professional and did a great job cleaning up my yard. Good price for the amount of work and did a wonderful job.

I would highly recommend this service!! My yards are always on point and create great curb appeal especially,  being a corner home. They provide great communication, consistent satisfaction and good customer service. Again, I would highly recommend their service!!!

Wish there were more stars.  Urban Oasis was the most responsive landscaper I called for a quote and am so glad I did.  Austin was always attentive to our needs.  I cannot say enough good things about this company.  They kept us in the loop the entire time and continually followed up and addressed our needs and/or concerns.  What great customer service and professionalism.  I'm so glad we found them.  Thanks Austin.

The short version is that I cannot recommend them.  The longer version is pretty long, but I'll try to control it.

Initially their service was thorough.  Yes, they missed some things, but they would get them the next visit.  But that's as good as it got.  There were at least two crew shake-ups in the ~8 months we used them, and each time the service declined.  Their original crew was definitely the best, but that only lasted about 2 months.

What they did, they did well.  Trimming and shaping bushes, edging ground cover (usually), cutting low-hanging branches.  Though sometimes you had to TELL them to do it.  They didn't seem to recognize what needed to be done, even after walking the property and building into the contract the agreed upon requirements. If you didn't instruct them ahead of time it may or may not be accomplished.  And even if you did tell them (e.g. please get that weed/plant in the rose bush) it wasn't a guarantee they would actually do it.  I tried sending them photos, I tried making lists (which was the most successful approach, but ironically they asked me to stop with the lists).  But even they acknowledged that several things I was complaining about should have been automatic; I shouldn't have had to say anything, it just should have been done.  The management/supervisors agreed with me!  But often it wasn't automatic.

About the only thing that was consistent was they used to blowers to clean debris from the yard.  Sometimes it seemed that was all they did.

They didn't remove dead plants that were obviously dead even after I pointed them out.  They missed obvious weeds.  On more than one occasion they cut a dripper which I then had to fix when I discovered I had a fountain instead of a drip head (they would have fixed it if I waited long enough, but I wasn't willing to have my system off for several days until someone could drop by). They would stop edging the ground cover part-way through (i.e. you could see where they stopped).  Management agreed with me that was unacceptable.

As I said before, they handled specific repairs very well.  They weren't cheap, but the pricing was reasonable.  They even reduced the pricing once because the job wasn't as hard as I expected.  So bonus points for that.

I think if you have a conventional lawn, and some trees and shrubs, you'll probably be fine.  If you have anything out of the ordinary they don't seem to know what to do, or at least the crews that do the actual work don't.  I was paying a lot of money for incomplete work.

They got tired of my complaints about the time I got tired of complaining.  They fired me first, but I was about to do the same to them.  I was going to grant one last chance, mostly because I didn't want to have to find someone else.  Interviewing landscapers is a pain.  Just in time for the ground cover to need to be cut back...

Submitted a request through yelp that went to 5 contractors and Happy Grounds was the fastest to respond.  Came the next day for review and quote.  Pricing was reasonable and came the 3rd day for repair.  When we were reviewing the work, we found one additional issue that needed to be fixed and they got out all the equipment back out and took care of it.

UPDATE:   ***After owners arrogant response, I'll just give them 2 stars like they deserve, I shouldn't have to supervise your crews, that is YOUR job. I am not a tree arborist, But, the professional tree arborist who looked at them days after you guys did it said it looked like crap, and took the time to explain the proper way to cut tree branches, being not too close to damage the branch collar or too long so that the branch stubs will not allow the branch collar to heal itself... both types of bad cuts being evident all over the tree and he graciously pointed them out to me and I will happily send you photos of all the bad cuts, if you want. These are the types of things you hire a professional for. So yes, I thought it was fine at the time, but a professional seems to think otherwise. So I am going to trust his opinion. Don't try and make me sound unreasonable for expecting a good job, especially when the job wasn't completed the first time. Hiring you was a mistake and just goes to show that yelp reviews can easily be pumped up by friends, business networks, and down right phony reviews by fake profiles that only have one single review ever written***

I called them because of all the stellar reviews here, so how could they not be awesome, right? Well.. I don't know. I am not convinced. They are OK. I called them to fix my sprinkler system and get a full service lawn care in the front and back yards, as well as some tree trimming. James came out to bid the job, quoted $350 and we shook hands. He also replaced a leaky end cap on a drip system line while he was there. He didn't investigate the drip system that much and it turned out that a 24V solenoid needed to be changed on the front system which was causing constant water flow. I figured that out on my own a week later as I will still having drip system issues and didn't feel like calling them back a third time, and repaired it on my own. The lawn care and tree trimming were done when I was out of town, I came home that night and it hadn't looked like my yard had really been touched at all. Weeds were still everywhere, the grass in the back hadn't been mowed or trimmed, and the trees didn't look trimmed. I contacted James and he sent his crew out to make the job right. They showed up and re-did the work and it looked better when they came out. I will say we had another landscape company come out a few days later to quote some monthly/quarterly maintenance and they said our trees looked like crap. I am dissapointed overall. Oh well. Lesson learned. Another Anthem company that gets great reviews from their business network circles and friends, but the work never meets review expectations. I would give 2 stars, but I will give 3 since he made an attempt to make things right.

Talked with Edwardo about getting some landscaping done. Took a couple days for them to come out and do the estimate, then a couple days to email us the estimate, then contacted them to have the work done and it's been two weeks and haven't heard anything. I get that you might be busy, but common at least put something on calendar! Going with someone else.

They were so nice and was able to come swing by to take a look, then did my yard the same day. I'm happy that they were able to come out and now I have a landscaper I can count on

I had messaged for a price quote on some tree trimmings I needed done.  Carlos was quick to reply and to come out to see what I needed.  I could tell right away that he actually knew what he was talking about.  His price quote was not high but fair.  The work matched it.  He sat with me a few minutes to go over the other 4 trees in my yard and now to properly care for them.  I will definitely use him again for my trees.

I was scammed by him and his Mexican partner Anthony Diaz. Took my deposit $3,500. And never returned.. they've blocked me. I'm elderly and saved for years to get my backyard / sideyard landscaped only for these heartless excuse for human beings to take advantage of me.
There are many scammed in Phoenix. mesa. Maricopa by them.. many police reports and small claims filings. The DO NOT TRUST THEIR SAD SCAMMER STORIES TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE PRICES BECAUSE THEY'RE SCAMMETS

I would not recommend this company to do anything remotely related to landscaping and sprinklers. After spending $5000 to $6000 with them on basic grass and a sprinkler system I now have to spend $8200 to remove and replace their horrible work. STAY CLEAR
