We have used Lucas Lawn and Yard Care for over 12 years, mainly for weekly lawn service, which in and of itself has been great.  Always there on the same day each week, and many of the same folks that we've come to know by name, so not a lot of turnover, which is always a good sign.  

But just recently we decided we needed a facelift and Ryan was there to assist and execute an amazingly big project and the results are incredible.  Replacing sprinkler lines and heads, adding plants to accent our features and then the rock to make it all POP!  Ryan the owner spent time with us to help with what plants would work best in each area and was there to help and to ensure the work was done they way we wanted it.  It looks gorgeous and I LOVE my front and back yards.   Thanks, Ryan and Team!

This is an amendment to my earlier review of one star.
Billy immediately reached out to me after posting the below review explaining that our appointment got lost among many others and as a business owner myself, I can surely understand how that can happen. I had a feeling it was something simple as our previous communication was spot on. Billy came to my home within 20 minutes of calling me and went over all of my needs and answered all questions I had. His company will now be servicing my home on a bi-weekly basis for landscaping as well as doing a couple of other projects. He is personable and made sure to make the slight error right! Thank you Billy!

They came out really fast and did the job.   Albert is friendly and great to work with.

Think Green did a phenomenal job recreating our backyard space. Jon and his team did a great job listening to our needs and designing the space to incorporate everything we wanted. We got designs and quotes from several firms, and Think Green was far and above in terms of quality.

George and the crew doing the work were fantastic! They showed up when they said they would, were knowledgeable, skilled and cleaned up every day before they left.

We love our backyard now thanks to Think Green!

Long overdue review from a very happy customer!

My husband and I hired Pristine Green to redo the mess of a backyard that we inherited from absentee homeowners that rented out this home to tenants for 10 years before deciding to sell. We knew we were in for a challenge with this backyard when we purchased the home, but Dallon made it so easy to transform our hunk of junk yard into the oasis that we so desperately wanted!

After living in our home for a couple years and envisioning what we wanted out of our backyard, we finally mapped out the vision of what we needed and wanted in a yard in our heads. We contacted Pristine Green for a quote and Dallon met us out at our house. We showed him the yards and told him what we envisioned. He took some measurements, sent us a quote, and we put down a deposit to schedule the service! Within a matter of days, Dallon and his extremely talented and professional crew brought it all to life. Better than we ever imagined. Everyday after the crew left for the night, we'd go outside and just be in awe of the process they all made and how different the yard looked day after day.

We are so incredibly happy with our yards (backyard and front yard patios, the walkway connecting the yards, turf, and putting green), that we plan on hiring Pristine Green again in the future to extend the backyard patio even longer (up to our bougainvillea bush). We also plan on having them add a little seating area outside of the backyard window looking at the putting green and another little area for our garbage cans along the walkway near our gate. We also talked to Dallon about re-landscaping the front yard, by bringing in new rock and plants to spruce up our curb appeal! We went from hating our home because of the unlivable yards, to never wanting to leave this oasis.

Also, we were so happy with Dallon's attention to our ideas, suggestions, and professional opinion from the moment we met him, that we never even contacted other companies for their quotes. We knew we wanted to stick with PG, and I'm so happy we did. He remained professional and responsive throughout the process, and we can not speak more highly of their company.

We also use Pristine Green for semi-annual yard cleanups where they trim up our bushes and trees and clean out a lot of the dead leaves and any weeds. This is how we originally found out about PG, and their flawless yard cleanups lead to us eventually reaching out to get a quote on redoing the yards.

You need to hire Pristine Green for all of your landscaping needs. Trust us! Five star company!!!!!

Isai and his team did a wonderful job waterproofing outside of my house.  It was a large job requiring trenching 5 ft deep trench around outside basement wall.  They installed plastic, foam, stucco, tar and some additional plastic.   They also connected the gutter system in backyard to have water run out to front yard and away from house.   They completed the job in a couple weeks, I thought it would take much longer.   Prior to this work, we would normally get seepage inside the house with water accumulating on basement floor during storms in several places.    After this work was completed, we had 0 water coming into basement after this last storm in Mesa.

I am very satisfied with their work and would use them again in a heart beat.

AKA Jose's Tree Service; Jose said to text him pictures of my palms to get a quote for trimming & cleanup.  He was very prompt with the response and gave a fair price so lined them up.  Jose + 2 came when scheduled and they did a really great job--my palm trees have never looked this good!  Quality work and they cleaned up around the work area when done.  I'll definitely do more business with them.

Called Lucio and he came within the hour. Him and his crew quickly got started and made my front and back yard look so great especially because I had some fallen branches and over grown grass and bushes from the monsoon. A+

Was supposed to come last week, but didn't.

Was supposed to come this week but he texted on Friday saying they couldn't make it. They offered to come between 6 and 7 am today (Saturday), and I agreed. They did not show up. I waited for over an hour past the appointment time, then I texted to ask if they were still coming. No response for over an hour now. I'm assuming they are not coming.

If you need something done, you cannot rely on these guys to show up when they say they will.

Wish there were more stars.  Urban Oasis was the most responsive landscaper I called for a quote and am so glad I did.  Austin was always attentive to our needs.  I cannot say enough good things about this company.  They kept us in the loop the entire time and continually followed up and addressed our needs and/or concerns.  What great customer service and professionalism.  I'm so glad we found them.  Thanks Austin.

I had such an amazing consultation this morning. Love that he was  on time with a mask seemed very honest and knowledgeable. Extremely courteous I just lived the ideas and consideration for my family and my needs due to allergies and design. I'm so sad l didn't find them sooner. I'm looking forward to a long term contract  for all of my properties in addition to biweekly or monthly services.

Juan is great! He came out the same day. He diagnosed, and repaired in a few hours.
I will use him again in the future.

I called today because we needed a repair to the backflow device.  We are selling the house and needed it to be done quickly.  James called me back right away and was even able to do the work the same day.  I would definitely recommend them!!!  Thanks for awesome service!

Where do I start?

We purchased our new home at the end of last year, based on Yelp reviews I had Eduardo come out to give me an estimate for a yard clean up. $600 later the yard looked much better and he assured me all my plants had irrigation and that we would wait to Spring to begin yard service.

Spring approached and he came out again to do some work on my irrigation, much more affordable than some of the larger companies I called. Later I realized all my aloe plants were turning brown and the centers of the plants had died. I had Eduardo come back out where he informed me those plants did not have irrigation, obviously annoyed, he added the irrigation to them (the center of the plants never came back, they are still dead, the outter leaves are starting to come back and turn green). I also stated that I wanted my grass to be green, it was very brown. He said they would fertilize it, etc. to get it going.

Later we started yard service with KO's, mainly because I thought his prices were good ($65 every other week) and they provided decent service even though it was clear there were some communication issues. By this point Summer was approaching, my plants were blooming and flowering, things looked great, but my yard was still brown. Turns out they never did the fertilizer, once I inquired, he said they would need to up the water/irrigation on the yard because of the heat and that they would in fact fertilize. This did help, but I was bothered because I feel like my lawn service should be telling me these things in foresight, not telling me they would work on it and not following through or waiting for me to notice the problem and then them backtracking. Also, they were supposed to reseed the lawn and completely missed that window, so I still have big patches in my yard where no grass will grow, apparently I'll have to wait til the Fall for this.

When things were starting to look nicely, plants flowering, etc. one day I come home and everything had been cut back. I called him and stated I NEVER wanted the flowers trimmed off or cut back. Fast forward one month, finally blooming again, I come home and they were all cut off again. I was not happy. Everyone else in my neighborhood had blooms, but us. Now here I am having to wait another month for flowers.

There were other issues, the crew not coming on the right day, leaving my pool a mess with debris, Eduardo telling me he would come on a certain day or time and not showing. We also had an issue with a potted plant. They were supposed to plant a palm in a particular place (centered), Eduardo actually placed the pot where the plant was supposed to go and his guys planted it a foot to the right. We literally pulled it out of the ground and replanted it in the correct place, I will say they did not charge us for that which I appreciated.

Bottom line, KO's biggest problem is the communication. There is none, you can speak to Eduardo, but half the time he forgets and you have to remind him or it doesn't translate correctly to his crew, or a completely different crew comes out the next time and has no idea. I want my lawn service to be proactive, someone that tells me what needs to be done, not me asking them all the time and having to play catch up. If your plants and grass are dying when you have lawn service something is wrong.

I have now started with a new guy, recommended by a friend and I have to say it's the same price, even less for fixes on the irrigation, etc. and it is NIGHT AND DAY. He was here 3x longer than KO's and got EVERY weed, it's perfection honestly and he knows not to cut off my flowers and to let me know if something needs attention before it starts dying, etc. which I obviously appreciate!

They respond quick and their price was cheapest ive found. they did a good job. shame that monthly price is bit expensive..

I'm not sure if Jose is going through some family issues, or if has just bit off on more projects than he can fulfill, but I'm forced to look for someone else.  I own a rental property in Surprise, and at first Jose jumped in, drew up a quick estimate for some landscaping and general property clean-up, and I thought we were good-to-go.  That was back in November, 2014!  Through sporadic emails and virtually no returned phone-calls, the project has never been done.  Finally, in May, he wrote back to say he wanted to re-vist the house to re-draft an estimate.  We were hopeful, however, he never got around to doing that.  Jose is a nice enough fella; he just doesn't have good business etiquette.

Just coming on here as a heads up to you all. Whatever you do. Do NOT hire Anthony Diaz (TreeTop landscaping) for any landscaping work. We hired him in December to complete our yard as we just bought our first home. We were so excited and he was eager to start. We paid for the materials ourselves and we paid him for the work through Venmo. He is super nice and replied to me quickly in the beginning. I have pavers and 5 tons of gravel sitting in my driveway since January. He started the job but has not finished and just keeps promising to come and never shows up. Uses every excuse in the book. at this point we have the HOA on our buts and are probably out $4,800. We just want our $$ back but he has stopped replying to us. He is just a scamming people at this point as we are not the first he does this too. I really wish I would have done more research as I found a couple other reviews. Take our experience as a lesson and save yourself some money, headache, and stress by not hiring him.

I would not recommend this company to do anything remotely related to landscaping and sprinklers. After spending $5000 to $6000 with them on basic grass and a sprinkler system I now have to spend $8200 to remove and replace their horrible work. STAY CLEAR
