Nico's Landscaping

Fantastic is the word for Nico!  He went above and beyond in his work making our backyard beautiful.  He was professional, efficient and his prices were very fair.  He installed sod in our back yard and created a perfect area for our above ground pool.  It came out even more beautiful than we had imagined.  His knowledge and skills took our little idea and turned it into a beautiful space our family can now enjoy for years to come.  I do wish I had found Nico sooner as his pricing was much more affordable than I had imagined.  This guy is the landscaper you have been looking for!  Highly recommend!

Nico was very responsive and efficient. He put in irrigation for our perimeter shrubs and trees and laid turf including a putting green. He is thorough and offered his ideas and suggestions throughout the project. We will hire him again to renovate the front yard landscaping and all other landscaping needs.

Had an amazing experience with this company. Was able to get a quote the day I called for inquiry and they got my backyard done in less than a week. Product was exactly what I wanted and they even did more than asked by taking care of extra nuisances in my yard. Will definitely use them again if I have anymore landscaping projects.

We have a large side yard area that wasn't being used so we worked with Nico to transform this space into a play yard for our toddler. Nico was responsive and reliable and prices were fair. He also gave great advice throughout the process on the best way to design the space. Lastly, he finished the job early, which was a nice bonus as we were getting excited to finally use it. I'd highly recommend Nico for any landscaping needs.

We hired Ruben to install our irrigation system in our new house. He and his crew were absolute professionals. They prepped the area where the plants would be, then came back after the plants were in the ground to finish up the system. Ruben was responsive, communicative, and the crew left the place tidier than when they arrived. We'll absolutely hire him again on the next phase of our backyard, for both irrigation and hardscape

This company is the best! Not only was their work beautiful the prices were much much better than the other 5-star review companies. I got quick response to my request and they got started two days later. Rubin and his crew were incredibly prompt, polite, and so easy to work with especially after me changing my mind about a few things more than once. They turned my yard from what was a never ending headache to a place I love spending my time in. Thank you so much Rubin and your crew. I'll be calling soon as I have more ideas now that I WANT to be in my yard everyday.

Nico and his team were great! He was very responsive from the first inquiry all the way to after the job was done. We started with an initial design and through his feedback, we were able to make adjustments as we progressed to land on a backyard space that we enjoy very much! ruben and his team were absolutely amazing. he was everything we were looking for in terms work ethic and quality. from the very beginning he was very proactive and helped us figure out what we wanted and till the very end made sure we were satisfied even after the work was completed. we contacted multiple contractors and had originally planned to work with a different contractor but they were unprofessional and slow. ruben is very knowledgeable in his work and we trusted everything he had to say throughout the process. you really wont regret working with him. we're so thankful that we found ruben. thank you again!!!

My wife and I bought our home last year, but the previous owners didn't do much for landscaping in the backyard.  The side patio (if you can call it that) was tiny and faced the block wall so there's not much of a view and not much space for seating.  After saving up, we began accumulating estimates that we sent out and requested via Yelp!  Ruben at Nico's Landscaping was the first to respond last week Sunday when I submitted the request.  Despite it being a Sunday evening, he answered all of my questions promptly, professionally and gave me all of the information I needed.  It's tough to chat about projects like this without actually seeing the area first hand.

Ruben called me the following day and advised he would be in my area the next day.  Despite me not getting home from work until after 4 p.m., he worked around my schedule and met me at home shortly thereafter.  This was a very nice surprise and extremely accommodating on his behalf.  My wife and I were so appreciative!  We explained what we wanted done and also told him we wanted patio pavers in a gray-scale color.  He took note of all of the information we gave him and went to work the next day locating the (2) pallets of gray pavers we needed to complete our project!  In a very short period of time, he accumulated the pavers and said he could get started as early as the following Saturday... just 6 days from the original Yelp request!  AMAZING!!!

He said he would be at our home at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and it was 6:58 a.m. when he showed up... PERFECTION!!  He and his crew pulled a 9-hour day on Saturday and they even came back today (Sunday) to complete the job in its entirety.  The paver patio slopes away from the house so water isn't accumulated.  He locked in the entire outer edge with concrete and leveled everything out as it should be.  They cut any custom pieces that needed to be cut and no paver was out of place.  The existing gaps were filled in tightly and compacted with dense said to keep everything rigid and professional.  The entire project is approx. 20' L and 8' W.  It's not an enormous space by any stretch of the imagination, but it is perfect for my wife and I.  We have plenty of room to stretch out, do some BBQ'ing and relaxing in our backyard.  

I would not hesitate to recommend Ruben and his entire crew at Nico's Landscaping to my family, friends or fellow Yelp'ers.  They were all professional, polite and more than accommodating to the schedules of my wife and I.  He text me when he said he would.  He called me when he said he would.  He showed up and completed the job when he said he would AND the best part?  His estimate was LOWER than the other businesses who contacted me MUCH later than Ruben!  (in fact, a few businesses did not even bother to respond to my quote request!)

Thanks again, Ruben to you and your crew!  We will most definitely use you again in the future!

I CANNOT fully explain what a great experience we had with our pavers. While there is a paver shortage Ruben, honored his price and scheduled installation. The work his crew did on our backyard is nothing short of perfect. There were responsive, timely, and delivered an exceptional product!!!! Do yourselves a favor and call. So glad I did!!!

Once we said yes to hiring the company for the job, it seemed like the crew was there the next day prepping my backyard. Layed turf and extended our patio with pavers... backyard came out beautiful. Ruben and crew were extremely professional - recommended updating our drip tubing to PVC which will last a very long time. We also got a rock refresh and I am over the moon with the results. We would recommend him to anyone that needs a capable and efficient landscaper / drip system expert. He was priced very reasonably for the services provided.

Very pleased with the work they did to repair the leak on my sprinkler system.  Reasonably priced and kept coming back to make sure I was satisfied with the work that was done. After the original repair was done there was a new leak that had nothing to do with the part that was fixed and he returned to fix the new leak in a timely manner.  Very nice to work with. Excellent service, price and work. I would highly recommend.

I have had a lot of experience with landscapers In rental properties as well as primary residences...some good, some meh and more often than not, really bad! Finding an honest landscaper in today's market is hard, finding a reliable AND honest landscaper is winning the lottery! I called Nicos about two months ago and  won the lottery. I spoke to Ruben. He showed up on time and gave me a reasonable estimate on irrigation installation. I called him again to hire him a month later, he showed up on time again! he did a fantastic job installing commercial type PVC irrigation with a FIVE YEAR WARRANTY and he has show up three times after installation on his own merit to tweak sprinklers and quality check the systems.
This guy and his crew are amazing. They knocked out my .30 acre yard in two days and didn't ask for a penny until they broke ground.  My highest recommendation goes to these folks. I even retained them for my regular maintenance and will have them do all my planting in the fall!

Me n my husband just moved to our new home in May, and we found Ruben through yelp. We believe he & his team deserved more than 5 stars. Patience, supportive, and sooooo much friendly. All his team members are professional with outstanding team work. The price is resonable, and no any hidden charges. Highly recommended! We definitely will work with them again for our next new home. I had unbelievably high water bills and knew I had a problem but could not find the water leak. Finally, while driving in one evening, I see water running down my block. I finally discover the leak that seems to only appear at night and in not 1 but 3 different spots. So, I called Nico to come out to both repair the leaks and to also remove a bunch of small palm trees from my side yard.

He arrived the next day. He was friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. He quickly assessed the situation and located all of the leaks which were pretty bad. He checked each tree to see the condition of the drip heads and also check the irrigation controller. Lastly he looked at the trees I wanted removed.

Nico gave me a fair quote and completed the work the same day. He did a BEAUTIFUL job! He was extremely thorough. He showed me where all the breaks were in the lines and what/how he repaired it. He reset the water controller to end the overwatering that had been going on. After the repairs he turned on the water to double check that everything was solidly holding. He also removed the trees and eliminated their drip heads so that I wouldn't be watering dirt!

I was extremely impressed and satisfied with his work. He left everything neat and orderly. I'm thrilled and feel confident that the water leaks are finally repaired. Should I ever have another irrigation issue he will be the first person I call. I would highly recommend Nico!

After getting tired of having to constantly go outside to water my trees, I decided to to look into getting an irrigation drip system. I requested an estimate for the job I wanted done on my home on yelp and Nicos Landscaping was one of the first contractors to offer to come out and take a look. Not only was Nicos Landscaping the first to come out and give me a estimate but it was the most responsible as well. I will definitely be using them for future projects for the quality of work, being on time and best price.

We worked with Ruben for the quote, and job itself. The quote process was excellent compared to other companies. The cost was affordable and the workmanship was great!

They installed artificial turf in our backyard. They did a great job clearing the weeds and prepping the space for the turf. Once it was all laid out, they fluffed it up and was good to go in a matter of hours. Quick, thorough service. They answered all of our questions and the turf looks great! Would definitely recommend and use them again.

We were referred to Ruben from my in-laws and were very happy. We called to have a clean up service done for our yard and to get a quote for a bigger project we're looking to start. He came over in 2 days to do the clean up work, which was fast and looks great! He had great ideas for our front yard remodel and gave us quotes on the spot for certain items we were thinking about. I had several quotes done from different landscape companies and Nico's Landscaping was one of them. Ruben also known as Nico was the first to respond and was so easy to talk through ideas with. He made it clear from the start that the customers satisfaction was what was most important not the end price. If I wanted to change my mind mid through the service, he would honor that even if it was a lower price. He was true to his word as we changed our minds multiple times! He always responded to texts or calls and was an absolute pleasure to work with! After accepting his crew to do the work, they were out that week! Worked hard through the AZ summer heat and did an AMAZING job with our project. We had 2 areas of Travertine done, Pavers along the side of the house and the front by the driveway and walkways, a dog area installed, an irrigation system put in, plants installed and cleanup work and fixes from a pool company that damaged the front yard! All of which were great! We highly recommend Nico's Landscaping! You won't be disappointed!

Ruben does a great job. I called about 3 in the afternoon and explained that I had 2 leaks in the front yard and they from the irrigation tubing. He replied within 30 min and said he would fix it today.  He got to the house about 6pm which is exactly the time quoted . He completed the repair and I no longer have a leak.  This is the second time I have used Ruben with the same result. That result would be completely satisfied. I recommend Ruben for any repairs.

I requested a quote from Ruben and about a dozen other landscaping companies. Ruben was not the most expensive or the least expensive but he seemed to understand what I was trying to accomplish. That said, his rate was reasonable. The job that I had for him was multifaceted and involved both hard and soft landscaping as well as irrigation and sod installation. The finished product is exactly what I wanted and the workmanship is excellent. In any project there are going to be changes and alterations along the way. Ruben was reasonable when each change or challenge came up. He did not nickel and dime me when we had an alteration. He also did not accept payment until he knew that I was completely satisfied. I would highly recommend Nico's landscaping.
