I never write Yelp reviews... but I was exceptionally pleased with this experience. They quoted me a super affordable rate to help us out with cleaning out yard, we haven't been able to do it for a handful of months due to crazy work schedules. They did the work and a little more than I expected and I was very pleased with the results. I would definitely re-hire them for maintenance and in the future, as well as future yard projects... and recommend them to the neighbors (and to you)!

I dont have the best before pics because it was a little worse than the picture, but here's what I have as comparison.

We just had Patio Pros demo our concrete driveway and walkway and replace with pavers.  Also had them add new rock and lighting to our landscape.  Very happy with the work ethic of Cory and crew.  Looks beautiful!

This past spring Erik and his crew gave my backyard a makeover.  Planted several desert friendly shrubs and succulents, sodded a portion of the yard where a large shed had been previously, installed curbing around the borders of the yard, added rock to the appropriate areas and got my irrigation system working like it should.  Very affordable and extremely hard working.  Found Erik to be extremely responsive to all my requests and knowledgeable about desert landscaping.  Support small businesses like Borders and Beyond, these guys are the real deal!!

Absolutely love these guys! They were really responsive and got my credenza to me in perfect condition. Would definitely use again for future furniture pickups

Amazing service done by JW landscape, Jaki made easy communications with text messages to exactly understand what I wanted to be done. Schedule appointment and his crew arrived on time, which made me happy from the start. They cleaned up afterwards including the street and sidewalk. The bonus part what stood out was that the owner noticed I had a sprinkler value leak. Told me that he can fix that part so water isn't coming out, I asked him about if he works on replacing the whole pipe from ground to wall to have new one installed with complete honesty he told me he doesn't replace that since he's not a licensed on plumbing things and that was truly honest of Jaki. Because I guarantee you some others will tell me yes just to have more work. But he was absolutely upfront with me and that reason alone I will choose him to have more landscape services done. Shrub it off did amazing irrigation work in my front and backyards.  They were very professional and completed the job in a timely manner.  They went over and above to get the irrigation installed correctly.   I would highly recommend.

Valley Vista Landscaping redesigned our backyard this last month. They came to the house talked to us about our ideas and gave their professional input on what would work and what might need to be tweaked. They gave us an estimate in a timely manner along with suggestions to keep the cost down by using different materials where possible. They set a day the work would start and gave us an idea when they thought the work should be finished. Valley Vista Landscaping was honest, prompt, friendly, cleaned up after them selves and professional. We will use them in the future and would recommend them to others.

This company is excellent. I just bought an old house in Sun City and the huge yard was a horrible mess. 5 overgrown fruit trees, 4 giant overgrown pineapple palms, weeds, dead cacti, and a completely broken irrigation system. This was a huge job. We got wuotes from other landscapers that were unreasonable. But Saul gave us a very fair quote. He and his expert crew showed up on schedule. Trimmed our trees, and cleaned up our yard to perfection. He repaired all of our broken irrigation and got everything working properly. We could not be happier! We will use them for all of our landscaping from now on. Fabulous job guys!

Agustin was awesome! He made the trip quickly and assessed the work fairly. He got to work and completed the work right on time! I have more work to have done and I'll be going with A & S!

This guy is a joke!!! I called 4 times to set up service and I never got an answer.  I left 3 messages and never got a call back. Definitely not interested in doing business with a company like this. It tells alot about how you value your customers.

Jarrod did a great job communicating, was on time, and did a great job with his partner trimming our bushes. I would recommend him to take care of any landscaping job. I will continue to use Jarrod for any of my landscaping needs.

Was told right away that they were running 20-30 mins behind and they were spot on.

Based on the reviews on Yelp, I decided to reach out to Extreme Borders and Curbs for a curbing project at my residence. Brian contacted me shortly after receiving my inquiry via Yelp and we set up a date for him to complete the project.  Brian and his crew were very friendly and professional and completed the job in no time.  I am very happy with the results and will recommend them to family and friends.

A review, along with a little education for those who, like my family, did not know what to expect.

Family business. Nice people. David was very prompt and always called back or texted very quickly. His dad did, also. Their workers, however, were not as responsive or as responsible. Pool looks great. The owners definitely know what they are doing regarding this type of work.

The good:
Complete pool redo, plaster removed and new mini pebble done. Removed a very small spa and made a seating area.
Pool deck resurfaced.
Far as we can tell workmanship is excellent and looks beautiful and we are extremely happy with the final product.

They even gave us a free upgrade in pool filter, and removed our diving board at our request.

They redid the steps and added a play shelf and chipped in a hole for an umbrella right in the pool for some shade. Nice touch.

Owners very quickly responsive when issues arose.

The bad:
There were several issues along the way (see, the ugly, below).

They called it, giving us a new pool deck. It's not a new pool deck. They resurfaced it with a new application of the color we chose. There is not a brand new deck. (I imagined new concrete being poured into a different shape, etc. when they said new pool deck. Why would I know any different? I am not in the biz to know the lingo.)

Speaking of the pool deck, I asked the original guy who referred this company to us for cool-on-your-feet decking stuff - but now that it's hot, so is the pool deck. The original guy acted like, of course, that's all we use.

Communication of what happens when:
I repeatedly asked for a timeline of events. They finally said they couldn't give one to me. I didn't even need an exact calendar date until the day before, but they refused to tell me anything unless I badgered them about what was happening next and approximately when?

Example: start day ended up being the first day of school break. I was told they would start that week, but I got no word on which day or a start time, nor did I know that they would only be there part of a day and not come back for another week after that first partial day. They showed up at 7am and we were all sleeping in. Awesome.

We thought it would be a continuous process, day after day, until finished. We were not told otherwise, and since we don't pay thousands of $ for a pool redo each year, there is no way for us to know that this is not how it normally goes.

It was also hard to actually see (in the samples and pix) the proper color the pool/water would be, so I feel like the color came out not exactly what we had wanted.

They didn't tell us what equipment to buy for maintenance, or tell us how to maintain the pool. Not sure if any company does that, but for all that $, you'd think it would be thrown in as a customer-service thing.

The ugly:
There ended up being a leak because the workers hadn't properly fixed/sealed off? Removed? the old piping when they put new pipes in. Ended up with a lake right next to the foundation of the house. They took care of it quickly after discovery.

Their workers opened the gate after I told them to keep it closed and our dogs got out. I only knew after maybe 30min when I went out to look and said, where are the dogs? And no one knew...at the same moment a neighbor several streets away was calling to tell us he had caught one of the dogs but the other was afraid and ran from him. I told the workers, you let my dogs out? Go find them! And they looked at me like I was crazy and went back to work!

I had to call Ed, the owner, and he got on them to go get my dog. I went and got the one who had been caught and also was looking for the other one but they found her first. Ayayay. They are outside dogs. They can't handle being inside all day, not used to it - lest you tell me to get a grip and put them in. I could for a few hours if the workers needed the gate open (and I had on other days when they let me know gate needed to be open a bit), but they did not indicate a need to have the gate open.

All in all, finished product is great, but there were some snags along the way, which is why the downgrade from 5 stars. I don't know that other companies wouldn't have other snags. It's always something with a major renovation, isn't it?
