Turf Monsters

Turf Monsters just completed a major overhaul  and remodel of our front and backyard. We chose them after speaking to two other companies,  one never called us back and the other was 20K higher than Turf Monsters.

The reason we chose Turf Monsters was Ryan. He is a straight shooter,  no nonsense with him.  He instantly earned our trust, and he had great ideas to help us decide on the best design. He supervised the project from start to finish and never left us hanging.
Sam and his crew did high quality work as well.

The results speak for themselves.  We went from have a drop house vibe to having the most beautiful yard on the block.  

I should add we did this project because we have a dog that eats rocks and a dog that digs.  Thanks to Turf Monsters, our fur babies will enjoy many hours of running on the pet safe Turf, no rocks or holes in sight!

Shopped around for turf for a new build home in September and decided to go with turf monsters due to their reviews and the quote I received from them.
After our quote was accepted I was added to the schedule and was contacted. saying they could fit me in at the end of the week. So here's where the communication got funky. I got no response from him on what day or time they would be coming by and woke up to a group of men at working in my backyard.. okay fine.

When the yard was done I messaged zach about my concern, there was an area where the turf was a whole different color. You could see the color difference easily. We were told the colors would all blend in if we give it time. Very embarrassing when we had visitors mention our turf lifting and color difference

It is now December and our yard is still not complete, the colors didnt blend and we had a patch of different colors . They came out to redo the section and then NOPE the density of the new turf was was wrong along with the color. No communication on when the guys were coming out either, I had to call multiple times to get timeframes of when theyd be here and then no-shows with no heads up.

They came back with what they say is the right color again for the third try and instantly we can tell its not the same color but we are now told to wait two weeks to see if the sun will make it blend... definitely feel bad for the guys who are out here doing our turf and having to remove and reapply multiple times because they arent getting the proper materials

With how much we paid we arent happy with this. Not happy that my kids cant play outside because theres silica sand laying on our turf while we play the waiting game.

This is my first landscaping project, and I could not have asked for a better team to help me transform my backyard. Turf Monsters AZ, especially Mike and Ryan, have exceeded my expectations on landscaping knowledge/design, customer satisfaction, and professionalism.

I am an indecisive person with limited creativity for landscaping, but Mike and Ryan made the process so much easier. Turf Monsters AZ offered many options for design, types of artificial turf, pavers, plants, as well as lighting. I had simple ideas on the appearance of my backyard, but they are truly experts in landscaping and were able to transcend my vision. With their help, I was able to add pet turf, pavers, borders, AND lights! My backyard used to be my least favorite area, but now is my favorite. They did a fantastic job, and I could not be any happier!

Cost was a priority for me when finding a landscaping company to work with. As a customer, I wanted a low/fair price that was within my budget, but I understand that companies need to profit too. Quality work is not cheap, but Turf Monsters AZ made it possible to get quality service at a reasonable price! I had researched 3 landscaping companies, and Turf Monsters AZ offered us the best price for everything we got. I am grateful that Mike and Ryan were able to work within my budget, and still brought my vision to life and more!

Words cannot even describe their outstanding professionalism. From the beginning to the end of the project, they continued to showcase efficiency, accountability, and patience. Since this was my first landscaping project, I had many questions and modifications. Mike and Ryan patiently resolved all concerns and provided great advice for ways to reduce cost or adjust the design.

Overall, this project was made possible thanks to Mike and Ryan. They have exceeded my expectations in all areas for this project! They are truly visionaries of landscaping, and I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Mike did a great job estimating my job and did so very quickly and with good communication. These guys are a great value for their turf products and installation.

The backyard is so green and the installation was flawless. Josh managed  my putting green project expertly and his crew leader Sam and the crew installed my 40'x20' in a day. The results meet my design requirements and exceed my expectations. Everyone involved from Meghan in the office to Josh on the ground and Sam on the install were very cooperative and professional resulting in a high quality backyard in appearance and performance.

We decided we were done with real grass so it was time to evaluate artificial turf.  We used Yelp and had six estimates.

Mike was the best at providing information and was the only one who noticed a dip in our brick edging.  We also liked the look of his grass samples and it's enhanced backing that none of the others offered.  

Their price was in the middle of the pack but their proposal information was the best.  One of our neighbors had their front and back yard done by Turf Monster and the wow factor sealed our decision.  

They started the job on time and finished on time.   They fixed the boarder issue and it looks great.

The neighbors walking by, five this morning, all love the improvement.  It looks real, but without the brown spots and dead area under the tree.  

The photos do not do it justice as the job was done yesterday and the grass needs to adjust to its freedom from being rolled up.  But even with that it looks like real grass.  

Going with artificial will drastically cut our water bill along with a reduction in landscape maintenance cost.

The big question, would I use them again?  Yes without calling anyone else.

Ryan Polk came out to do my estimate, and he was beyond terrific. He had samples, we hashed out ideas, we looked at the overall yard to see if the tiger grass would blend with the shade of my putting green. He was spot explaining the process, and the install went like clockwork.

The crew showed up as scheduled and proved to be meticulously clean and organized. Although there was about 5 or 6 men, there wasn't a trace of any trash or miscellaneous materials anywhere when they were done.

The price was well within my budget, and I'm thrilled to have such a gorgeous yard to look at. If you need to have artificial grass installed, no need to get any other estimates, call Turf Monsters.

We just had the best experience ever! We contracted TURF MONSTERS to put in 1200 sq feet of Fescue for our pups!!  I kid you not... it looks like REAL GRASS! Turf Monsters transformed our dirt yard into a resort style yard with functionality.  We spend a lot of time outside so we wanted a low maintenance yard with a mixture of turf, pavers, rock, shrubs and low voltage lighting.  We pretty much knew how we wanted the yard to look. Mike offered a few suggestions that we decided to go with. The team of guys that worked on our yard were the same throughout the entire project.  They were punctual, professional and clean.  They work really hard and take pride in what they do.  The transformation was outstanding!!  Our yard came out exactly the way we wanted it to. Highly recommend Turf Monsters..... FYI, they are pretty booked up, so be prepared to wait 8-9 weeks before they start. I  must say, it was well worth the wait.

Turf Monsters has blown away my expectations. I spoke to numerous turf and paver companies prior to hiring and felt exhausted when it came to landscaping until I found Mike at Turf Monsters.  

Mike managed my project from start to finish. He helped edit my design I envisioned, set up a crew in a timely manner, kept to his word with a promised finish date, and made sure in the end that I was fully happy with the project outcome.

I am more than happy with the finished outcome! Turf Monsters did both my front and back yard including: Water drip line, perimeter lighting, pavers, and turf. I was having trouble keeping grass growing in my back yard. Then I thought about it I'm getting older and don't always have time to cut the grass and I'm wasting water as half of the yard was dirt/mud when wet. My wife is allergic to grass and the dog was dragging mud in the house. All these reasons are why I made the decision to have artificial grass put in instead. I called a couple places and got no answer. One place returned my call two days after I spoke with Turf Monsters of AZ. I set an appointment for a free estimate. Their representative Ryan came out on a Saturday when they are not even open to speak with me and work on an estimate. I scheduled for installation and as it happened they were able to come to install turf a week earlier than originally planned. While installation was going on Ryan checked in to make sure all was going right. When they finished the installation turned out better than even Ryan himself expected. They had done some little extras that made such a difference from being a good looking lawn to a fantastic lawn that I could not have imagined.

A referral from our designer, we love this outfit. We had them replace the complete irrigation system of our entire property, and install high-quality, realistic, pet-friendly artificial turf in our backyard. The lead Mike did a great job of working w/ us to get us what we wanted, and Jesse & his crew were dynamite: professional, detailed, hard-working, meticulous, friendly, and punctual every day. I asked to have this specific crew back for some other outdoor improvements. Thanks, guys!

We loved working with this company. Mike came out to my house and gave me a quote and let me know that their calendars were about 3 months out. When the time to work came closer, he kept me updated about when the guys would start and approximately how long it would take. The crew was at my house every day before 6:15 AM and worked diligently to make sure that our yard looks great. This wasn't cheap, but absolutely feels worth it to us.

We picked Turf Monsters due to the fantastic reviews. First off, our turf does look beautiful. The quality looks great and I am hoping that it stays that way. When you walk on our turf with and without shoes it feels a little lumpy. I don't think it is supposed to feel that way. There is also a cut by our pavers that is not straight and doesn't look that great. When I talked to the company, they said that it is a human that cuts it so it won't be perfect. Also, if you use this company make sure that you confirm that they are doing what you requested for your job while the team is on the job. We caught them not doing something we asked and we think/hope they corrected the issue. The salesman was nice and I did feel comfortable going with Turf Monsters. Now after the job is done, I am wondering if I made the right decision.

We CAN NOT say enough about the professionalism, quality and superior workmanship of the TURF MONSTER team.  Our backyard was a mess and after sharing our vision with Mike his team went to work! The scheduling and delivery of materials was flawless (despite severe paver shortages) and their very skilled craftsmen created a putting green OASIS with a paver design that is second to none.

We didn't stop with the hardscape and artificial turf,  they helped us design lighting for the front and backyard and also updated our irrigation.

Mike of turf monsters is amazing. He knew exactly what my yard needed and understood my vision. We have two big dogs and live in Arizona.. real grass wasn't an option. Mike helped us choose a high quality, real looking turf that is safe for the dogs in the heat and can withstand their constant running.

Everything was easy and seamless. Victor and the rest of the install team were polite, clean, and respectful of our property. Victor also constantly made sure I didn't have any questions or if I wanted anything to look a specific way. Everything is tailored to me and that was very appreciated.

This is just a review on their proposal process. We ended up going with a different company that fit our needs better but Mike came out to give us a quote and he was very communicative and professional! The pricing was still competitive and not far off from others. I think it was just our specific needs for our backyard situation that we went with someone else, but would definitely recommend this company to friends as an option for landscaping!

Mike, My remarks were about MY experience dealing with YOU and YOUR unprofessional, over the top reaction when I said I was not going to go with your company to install my turf due to pricing. I spoke with your office staff initially who then had YOU call me directly. I realize the price you provided over the phone was a range but my square footage didn't change from what I provided to you over the phone from your own measurement. So I am not sure why the quote you provided wasn't in the same ballpark after meeting with me. In any case, this was something that happened 5 months ago. I have since hired someone else that has installed my turf and I am very happy with the finished product.

Called the business a couple of times- first time spoke with someone and they immediately asked if I could just text them and basically hanged up. Text the business and no response. Called again and left a voicemail with no response.

I called to get someone to give me an estimate on getting my backyard area more pavers. I spoke with Mike for less then 1 minute. Before I could describe much of the job he said it was not worth his time. I anticipated this being a $2000 job, so I guess good for them for thinking that kind of money was not worth their time?

These guys are amazing! I shopped around to multiple different companies and they were the best value hands down. They are competitive on pricing but their product was far better then anyone else. They got my job done in 4 days and were very respectful of my home. They cleaned up after themselves and were very friendly. I used Turf Monsters to install new turf in my backyard, and they did such an amazing job. Great customer service and great quality work. They only use Tiger Turf which is made in the USA, which is great because you know you're getting great quality, compared to other companies who only carry turf from China.
