I've used Larson for my regular AC maintenance check ups and they have been great. Always respectful of my home and are very thorough in explaining what they are doing if any repairs are needed.

They came out and replaced a water softener and then on the same day they replaced a water heater which I was very thankful for. That was last year and this year they came out and changed the filter to the water softener. I really like this company they are reliable and very reasonable in cost. The guy that came to my house is very professional and knowledgeable, and I appreciate that.

Our AC in our new home started short cycling in the middle of a heat wave, and our home warranty company was unable to find anyone to come until 4-5 days later. We have a newborn baby at home, so it was imperative that we got it fixed immediately.

So I was on my own to find someone. Luckily 1st choice got right back to me in less than an hour and were here the next day. Tim and Brandon showed up ready to rock and roll and figured it out very quickly. After both AC's started blowing cold, Tim was adamant to come back the following day to check everything out and make sure all was well. These guys were so personable and solid, I wish every company operated the way they do.

I was even more impressed when I got the bill. I was shocked at how affordable they were as they could have easily charged me anything at that point to get my house cool again.

I can't say enough good things about Tim and 1st Choice. They work hard, and are just plain nice people who won't take advantage of you. My family and I are so grateful for getting us taken care of on such short notice.

I was on the brink of a meltdown after working with Nest support to resolve an AC issue that started after installing a Nest thermostat.  After nearly 3 hours on the phone with Nest, unwiring and rewiring the thermostat, testing and retesting different configurations, it was 87 degrees in my house.  By the time I called Boldt and talked to Fran about scheduling someone to come out and help, I was in tears.  She was able to get someone scheduled to come over the same afternoon.  A short time later, Fran called me back and said someone could be out sooner than originally scheduled - perfect!  They came and had the thermostat installed and AC issue resolved in about 30 minutes. The technicians also gave me a heads up about a part on my AC that's likely to give up the ghost this summer, but there was no hard sell, which I really appreciate. The price was very reasonable, and the service was incredible.  Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Amazing and quick service! I have a rental property in Tempe and my tenants called me letting me know when they got home from work the AC wasn't working. Summer in AZ is no joke so I tried to find someone to hopefully come out in the next 24 hours, then found Johnny. I called Johnny at 6:15pm and he was out to the property and fixed the issue all by 8:15pm! Super quick, super affordable, and a really nice guy! Can't say enough good things about him! You won't be disappointed.

Part 2...Hays Cooling & Heating came out after I booted out the first company I called (search my name for my part 1 review). Mike came out and quickly realized that the ONLY thing that was needed to be changed was the capacitor. THE CAPACITOR, that's it. Oh and he also realized that some wires were fused together (fixed) when the capacitor burned out. I was so impressed with Mike's honesty that I signed up for their maintenance contract for 1yr on the spot. Even Mike said that he joined Hays because they are above board and do not expect the techs to sell but to fix (what a great concept)! Hays, you have a customer for life and with my big mouth, I will be extolling your virtues for many years to come. Thank you for cooling us off!!!

Got home to find my AC wasn't working, made a quick call and just a few hours later Mr Maneth was here to get us back up and running! Probably the most friendly technician I have ever worked with. He stayed until after 9:15pm just to be sure my family and I could be comfortable tonight.

I can't speak high enough of the service we received, without hesitation I would recommend them to anyone!

We had one of our a/cs go out, we called and they sent out a tech same day, he came within the time window provided and gave us a call when he was on his way.

During the heat wave of the week of July 23, 2018 my heat pump would shut off at the hottest part of the day and then return to normal operation about two hours later. I called Arctic Fox and let Misty (the owner's wife)  know what was going on with my unit. I told her it was not an emergency, as the unit was running when I called. We scheduled Friday of that week for Heath (the owner) to come out and look at the heat pump. Misty stated if it got any worse to call and they would fit us in.

I called back on Thursday morning, as my wife was concerned about our dogs and cat. Heath arrived at our house and did some troubleshooting on the unit. He could find nothing wrong with the unit. After providing him with the symptoms that occurred each afternoon he determined it may be the motor for the fan that cools the coils. It has a thermostat that shuts down the motor at 200 degrees. It did not occur when he was there (naturally). He stated he would return the next day with a new motor. Friday he removed the old motor and lo and behold, the motor was leaking oil near the shaft. The motor was heating to shut down temperatures the previous days. Heath worked fast and diligently to replace the motor as the heat pump was shut down during this task.

When it was all said and done, the motor was under warranty and there was no charge for it. Heath said there was also no labor charge. I disagreed with the free labor, as he came out two days and I know the manufacturer was not going to reimburse him for his time.  I asked him what his labor rate was for the two days he was at my home. He provided me with the cost (I think he may have low balled it) and I gladly paid.

I cannot say enough of the integrity, customer service and genuine care this husband and wife company displays every time I use their services. The big name companies cannot even come close to Arctic Fox's business ethic.

My mom's AC/heater was acting up, blowing smoke all up in her home and Dave from Gladiate Air flew in to the rescue!!! Big thanks to Dave's wife for setting up the same day service!!

When Dave arrived and turned the on the heater, the smoke decided not to rear it's dark cloud, but instead, it stopped working. Dave found the problem & fixed the broken wiring in no time and quoted me with a reasonable price! He was very professional and explained everything to me every step of the way. He's an expert in his field and provided excellent service!

Hopefully my mom won't have much more AC/heating issues, but if she does, I trust Dave and Gladiate Air for all of our AC/heating problems! Thank you Dave, you're a life saver!!!

I am a senior citizen and I want to warn everyone... especially seniors about Arizona Dukes of Air. DO NOT USE THEM! DO NOT TRUST THEM! THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR SYSTEMS AND THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND SELL YOU EQUIPMENT YOU DON'T NEED!

Dukes of Air told me I needed a new thermostat. My current thermostat was under warranty when I called but by the time they arrived days later it was out of warranty. Dukes of Air would not honor it. That should have been my first red flag with this company. But this nice young man said he was vet and he would take care of everything. He sold me a trane thermostat. I didn't want such an expensive thermostat but he assured me there was no other thermostat that would work with my AC unit. I believed him. He lied!

I have had 2 others HVAC companies review my system. its just a standard Goodman AC unit and doesn't need that expensive thermostat. A state inspector said they geri rigged a router and all kinds of loosely connected parts to make it work. I called the company complaining and Patrick the General Manger told me get lost. He even asked how I found out. My conclusion, its standard practice for them to oversell and take advantage of their customers.

The EXPENSIVE thermostat failed within a year. The second trane thermostat. I called another company to help me replace it. This company said who put that unit in. You DO NOT NEED THIS EXPENSIVE UNIT.  I said I should go back to Dukes of Air. They promised when I paid exorbitant rates for this unit they would warranty it. It is still under warranty. Again, Patrick the general manager called me and refused to replace it. I paid $$1200 for this unit altogether and I'm stuck with a trane that again twice within one year failed. What does that say about Dukes of Air. They wouldn't warranty my system and they oversold a system to a senior citizen that did nothing but want to believe they are a honest reliable company

I want to give a huge Thank You to David Flores of Biltmore Mechanical Heating and Cooling. Gave him a call and within little over an hour he  was out on my roof fixing my AC. I have a newborn so cooling is crucial. I like to consider my self a jack of all trades, but I could tell instantly he knew exactly what he was doing and what needed to be done! I highly recommend him and his business to anyone needing Honest and Quality work! Thanks again David!

In town visiting my elderly father's house. AC was pumping heat not even room air temperature. I arrived to a 94 degree house on an 80 degree night.

Called at 9:15 AM. Got an 11:00 AM appt. Bill called first and then showed up exactly on time.

The AC unit is 25+ years old but Bill identified the unusual failure, ran to the shop to get the part and fixed it quickly.

Will definitely use them again. No brainer.

Just got my SRP rebate check, which made me rethink my whole 4.5 stars thing.  To be fair, I was just reacting to the Trane unit that failed.  That's on Trane, not Sure Temp.  They took care of everything from start to finish, and shouldn't be dinged for a faulty manufacturer.  It's been a month, and everything is working to plan.  I appreciate their willingness to work it through until it was right, and doing what they could to express their apologies for something largely beyond their control.  Thanks to all of the service guys that came out.  5 stars - unreserved!
