Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

I cannot rate this higher than 5 stars, which is a shame.  This company was a pleasure to work with on every level.  After buying a new-to-us home here in the Scottsdale area, knowing hot weather is on its way, we decided to make sure the AC systems were going to be tuned up.  I come from the Pacific NW where AC is uncommon in residences, so I wasn't really sure where to start.
So I turned to Yelp, and y'all directed me.  That's how I found Larson AC.

Being a AC newbie, I went big and bought the premium 'cool kids' plan.  Why?  Because they advertise same day service if your AC goes out, and if it's anything like a furnace in the colder parts of the country, you know it's never gonna fail on a good day.  Now that we've had our first service, I'm glad I bought it for the incredible thoroughness.  First, their business communications are prompt and informative.  Scheduling was prompt, and Lyle was punctual.  As usual communications leading up to the appointment were as timely and professional as you'd like.  

Our tech Lyle had 2 pretty good-size systems to thoroughly inspect and clean, and he did so as methodically, meticulously, and timely as you could ask for.  He was congenial, wore mask and booties, was neat, and is great at explaining things.  We received a complete report, with pictures, on the health of both systems, all maintenance that was done, and any outstanding issues.  When he found a leak in the unit that had just been installed a couple months ago, he was immediately on the phone to the company that had sold it and done the install.  Since this is covered under the Home Warranty we He made sure I had all the information I would need to pass along to the home warranty company, and I know if I'm not satisfied with the company my warranty company uses for the repair, I will go straight back to Larson!

These guys were great.  Fixed what Chaz Roberts didn't a couple of months ago and didn't pressure me to get a new unit.  Thanks!!!

James came out right away and did an excellent job. Explained what the issue was and that is was a far less complex issue than we anticipated. Pricing was also better than other quotes received.

As an owner of many condos for years i worked with a large hvac firm . Until one of my units needed a new system and i was told the large firm had installed the wrong air in one of my units !!! Thats when   another owner told me about boldt a family business. Thier great people you can trust and the pricing for new units and repair beat all 3 bids

Johnny and his side kick were awesome to work with. I already had a quote from another AC repair company that wanted to charge me almost $800 for a fan motor and capacitor. I called Johhny for a 2nd opinion. I told him that my fan motor needed to be replaced and instead of just coming to my house to replace the motor, they first tried other more inexpensive options like adjusting the emergency shut off switch and testing the capacitor. In the end the fan motor was faulty and they replaced it for less than $300, about $500 less than the other guys *cough George Brazil cough*. I would recommend these guys to my own mother, so you know they're good.

Wow!!!! I just had an install today of two new units. I can't say enough about the quality of salesmanship and installation we received. I would highly suggest Hays for any services that they offer. Their team is knowledgeable and cordial. They also came way under a price quote from a competitor and doubled the warranty. We also got a wifi thermostat was the hi-light of my husbands day!!!  Thanks Hays we are customers for life.

It's very refreshing to met a honest AC repair company.  I have used other AC companies in the past due to free or extremely cheap AC system inspection the repairman always turn into salesman. Celeb was straightforward and found part that was starting to weaken but did not pressure to replace it.

We set up a summer readiness appointment and Byron was the technician that showed up. We couldn't have been more happy with the check-up. He offered us simply the check-up but also made us aware of service plans that are very reasonable and also come with monthly payment options that make it very convenient if needed. Byron was very personable and great to talk to! There was no pressure to buy into anything and gave us a very thorough check-up and explanation of our systems. I highly recommend this company and Byron!

In the 5 years that I have used this company for my house remodeling they have earned this five Star rating - If you need ac or heating or evap cooler work or ductwork or plumbing from repairs to new install this company will not waste your time or money ,I shopped around a lot before my new install ac /gas  heat  combo  ,others wanted more for less work and or tried to lie to me about what all was needed to install unit I have built homes I know what's needed ,In my thirty years of owning homes for my self and several others I rented out to people ,This company is the best I have ever hired .Not a  greedy large company working on commission .

Gabriel is a lifesaver! The AC went out in my Airbnb unit the morning before a guest was supposed to arrive, and Gabriel came out right away and fixed it within a couple of hours. Super professional and reliable--I would call them any time I need a repair and I recommend them to anyone!

I saw the reviews for Dukes on Yelp and gave them a call. John (the owner) answered right away and came out to give me an estimate. Surely enough, we in fact needed a new HVAC, since our unit was as old as dirt. Without telling John, I did a price comparison with another company through Lowe's and they were almost 50% higher than what Dukes quoted! Obviously, I went with Dukes and John and his crew arrived right at 8AM today just like they said they would. I cannot say enough about the great work John and his crew did. They did a wonderful custom job on the install and even widened the HVAC opening in our condo (HVACs are larger now than the old one we had built in 1987). John even vacuumed our carpet, fixed the fire alarm, and did some cocking on the ceiling by the HVAC opening. All was completed for NO extra charge. How many other companies provide extra service free-of-charge while providing you a fair price for what you need? The workmanship appears to be superior with the install, since John did the job right without cutting corners. I certainly will recommend Duke's to everyone in the future, and will be utilizing their services in the future.  Final Note: I was talking with John as he was leaving a bit ago, and I mentioned to him that people should probably get their HVAC needs taken care of BEFORE the summer season, thus avoiding having to stay in a hotel.  John and his tech seemed to agree with me. Wow... great guy.  David had great reviews  so I went with it.. glad I did.. Was here within an hour. Got our AC up and cool again. Great service. Hard to find good people these days. I highly recommend Biltmore Mechanical

Amazing service!!! We used them last year to replace a part that was broken on our air conditioning. We had an issue with it again this year. They came out the same day to check it,  although they were already booked for the day, knowing that we had a baby at home with this heat!
Dylan was amazing and helped in every way he could.  He even brought us a portable air unit to use until we got the unit repaired with our warranty company. They have amazing customer service and we will definitely use them and refer them to everyone we know.  Thanks again!

After a near lightning strike, our AC was out - still running but icing over. Also electric out in 4 rooms. After doing as much as I could on my own (not much) I got a referral for Mike, here. What a great job he did - got us up and running with parts he had on the truck, showed me where the relay board was fried, installed new thermostats. Great guy, fast, knowledgeable, hard working, and (I kid you not) his eyes light up when he talks parts. You gotta love the enthusiasm. He even helped us figure out the electrical. We signed up for the maintenance/tune-up program - cheaper than the one we were using before and WAY cheaper that a new unit. Call Mike. You'll like him, and he will do a good job at a reasonable price.

Needed a mini-split to help cool a bedroom.   Got several bids and Alan's was the best overall deal.  Installation less than a week later and went very smoothly.  Had not used this company previously but in the future, I will definitely give them a call.

I downsized to a new house in September 2017. My previous house was 2 story but had a separate HVAC system for upstairs and downstairs. The new house is 2 story but only one HVAC system that was 11 years old but worked. I quickly noticed the house was very cold downstairs when the ac was on and much warmer upstairs...about a 6 degree very noticeable difference between upstairs and downstairs and and the master bedroom was about 3 degrees warmer than the rest of the upstairs and maybe 8 degrees warmer than the downstairs. I was told by another HVAC company that a variable speed unit would help with the uneven temperatures but they didn't recommend anything else and their price seemed high. So I started calling other companies and found the other HVAC company's price they quoted was truly high. I had Ideal Energy come out and they recommended remodeling and sealing the duct work and a few other things. I asked about a new system because the house has the original ac from the builder and probably would last another couple years at the most. I was advised that the Trane Variable Speed system would work best. And I was quoted a better price than the other company. So, I had all the work done...Duct work and Trane Variable speed system.
What an amazing difference! The house now has even temperatures...upstairs, downstairs, and master bedroom. You don't have to live with uneven temperatures in a 2 story house. It can be corrected!
All of the employees were very nice and polite. They covered my carpets and cleaned up everything very well when they were done...and I'm picky about cleaning so if I say it was done well that says a lot.

Have been very responsive with knowledgeable technicians. Did everything until they got it  just right. The techs were very personable and took great care of where they walked and worked

Tyson came out today to do a  free safety inspection.
I have used Pro Skill for years for my heating and air. They are great, Never had a problem, so I though I'd give them a try in the area of plumbing.
I am a senior citizen, retired and have little knowledge re plumbing.
He was so kind and informative. I always ask questions. He showed me where my main shut off was, where the shut off is to the water heater,
discussed instant hot water and how it works, Most of all he discovered that my soft water tank was shut off.  A different  plumbing company was at my house a couple of months ago, servicing the soft water and osmosis. Apparently he shut off the softener and never turned it on.  
He found no other issues.
From now on,  Proskill will be my go to plumbers.

I've used Sure Temp a few times now and continue to be impressed with their level of customer service. Justin went above and beyond to come back out, after a service on my HVAC, to help install a new Nest thermostat. We are also getting some duct work done by them on the property and Keith has been really helpful and informative through the process. Would highly recommend these guys!
