Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

I mistakingly hired someone from Task Rabbit to help us swap out our thermostat. Unfortunately, that did not end well. I found Larson Air  Conditioning on yelp and gave them a call. I was able to schedule for a time that worked for me. Sam, the technician, was very friendly and communicative. We finally have a thermostat that is working.  Thank you Larson Air Conditioning!

I live in San Diego and my elderly Mother called me with an emergency with her air conditioning.  As I help her with all of her issues, I wanted to get this fixed right away as her house was hot and she was uncomfortable.

I called American Home Water and Air and they were able to get Drew out to her home right away.  The problem was the main blower motor and they had to source the part and then install it.  Drew was great!  I could tell by our regular communication that he really cares and this gave me comfort that he understood my Mother's limitations and that he would do all he could to help.  He went above and beyond and I am grateful for all he did.  I was very pleased with the service with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them!

My wife's friend recommended them to us and we couldn't be happier. Our AC went down in the month of June, a triple digit month here in Phoenix. Jeremy G. showed up and checked out the situation. Once he figured out what was wrong he explained everything to us in language that we could understand. We were quoted a fair price to repair. Once he was done he explained everything that he did, answered all of our questions and asked if we had any other concerns. A true Professional. Thanks Jeremy. A week later something tripped the breaker & the AC was down again. My wife called and was told someone would be out in the morning. An hour later Mike called and said he was on his way. A pleasant surprise since we weren't expecting someone until the next day. Mike arrived, figured out the problem, fixed the situation at no charge and explained everything to us. I will highly recommend these guys to all my friends and anyone who needs AC work.

Wow, wow, wow. I just cannot speak highly enough of Johnny and his technicians. Last year my AC went out in the middle of summer and the house was 100 degrees. Luckily, (or so I thought) I had American home shield (who is just awful by the way). AHS gave me the run around and told me the soonest they could have someone out for something like 4 days. AWESOME!  Maybe I'll still be alive 4 days from now to let them take a look! There was no way I was waiting. I took to Yelp and found Johnny's who had awesome reviews. I call them and told them I had an emergency. They were at my house WITHIN THE HOUR. 20-30 minutes later they had the problem fixed and my AC was blowing cold again. Great, I thought to myself, is this going to cost me 1 or 2 legs? It ended up being something like $120-$130. Are you kidding me!?! So not only did they come right out, fix the problem immediately, but they were almost the same price as my American Home Shield deductible? Not only that but Johnny even offered to write me up something to give to AHS where I could potentially be reimbursed by AHS. Now, fast forward to today. AC goes out again, I have AHS still. I have a bad compressor which is very expensive. AHS is going to cover it, hooray! I find out from the AC repair company that bc they are replacing the compressor, they have to replace all the freon and OF COURSE AHS doesn't cover freon. No big deal, right? WRONG! It turns out the company is charging me $60 per lb of freon and I need 11.5 lbs!!! I feel like I'm getting ripped off. I called Johnny and he tells me that believe it or not that's actually a good deal and I should definitely take it. He tells me that a lot of other companies charge even more and to definitely take advantage and use them to replace it. Ok cool, at least I know I'm not getting ripped off. The day goes on and I have 2 other people tell me that I probably don't need new freon, that the freon in my system can probably be reused and I can save myself $600+ and that this AHS AC company is just trying to rip me off. Panic mode sets in again bc now I'm thinking I can pay Johnny or some other company $100-$200 to drain and reuse the freon instead of spending $600+ on new freon that I don't need. This other AC company is coming out to do the work in the morning and so I'm panicking. I called Johnny at 8:30 at night. I'll repeat that. I called Johnny at 8:30 at night and asked him if he could help me drain and reuse my freon. He spent 15 minutes of his night, politely going into depth and explaining why I did want to use new freon and why I shouldn't try to reuse the freon I already have. He probably worked a 12 hour day in 108 degree weather and was sitting on his couch eating dinner and he took my call and helped me out even when it wasn't going to benefit him. I really just cannot begin to describe how awesome he is. Johnny is 100% my AC for the rest of my life and I'm referring him to everyone i know. He is the best and if you want an honest, helpful, trustworthy, reasonable AC technician who knows his stuff, Johnny and his techs are your guys! Thanks again Johnny! I checked with a few companies to help flush my water heater. Hays was prompt to respond and came out the very next day. Fairly priced and friendly staff. Highly recommend

Cannot give this local company enough compliments for its gold standards in customer service! They will go above and beyond for the customer. I have a rental property which needed an AC replacement, and needed prompt and reliable service. The tenant was not the most hospitable, but Randy, one of the co-owners of the company, was extremely professional in inspecting the property and getting back to me with his recommendations. Their pricing is extremely fair, but the communication and trustworthiness with their customers is what will always bring back repeat clients! So many businesses could learn from them! I am late in writing this review. Cool Zone installed a new HVAC unit in August 2019. They gave me a great price and warranty but their service went above and beyond. They deserve 6 stars if I could. They also provided portable coolers while our unit was on order and installed. I was a Realtor for many years and dealt with many contractors, Cool Zone is one of the best from my experience. They did everything they could to make the installation as perfect as possible. Danette responds to calls quickly as does David and the contractors. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them.

Our A/C unit hasn't worked so well in years. The Bumble Bee staff not only did a good job with their regular maintenance but correctly diagnosed some deficiencies, recommended corrective steps, and made the needed improvements, all at a reasonable price. We're very pleased-except my wife who thinks, It's too cold in here!

I was referred to Alan by Johnny's Air, another local guy who does repair and had great reviews. We recently bought a new condo and was told by two repair companies that the entire unit (wasnt blowing warm air) needed to be completely replaced for over $7000, or they could repair it for several thousand.

Alan came out to check it out, and was super impressed by the rare and unique system. He said that although he had only seen a few of them like this, he thought he could fix it.

Sure enough, he could and the price tag was substantially less than any other quotes - which were just lazy in my opinion!
