THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. EVER.
Promised appointments that 'conveniently' never materialize.  
I moved my travel arrangements around specifically for this appointment.
I have EMAILED/WRITTEN CONFIRMATION and a WORK ORDER number.
How convenient that they weren't available for a call when they clearly KNEW they were NOT going to make it.  I don't find any coincidence in this issue whatsoever.
Jamie is a joke as it relates to customer service.  Her title on her signature line? Managing Member.  REALLY?  MANAGING WHAT? Horrible Customer Service. That's what.

I have been using American Home and water for about eight months. Our air condition failed just prior to last summer. I settled on them because of their high ratings as well as prices. The AC install went great. A large crew spent all day installing, it was obvious their attention to detail and professionalism. The entire time Brad was in contact with me and answered every question.
Again, I used them for some additional duct work this winter. The job was done quickly and came in under budget.
It was a no brainer to contact them for a water softener. I made the initial inquiry and four hours later Fidel and Junior left our house and we had soft water. They insured my landscaping, where a pipe was run, was left in better condition than when they arrived. Every time I have dealt with AHW I have been impressed. They are quick, efficient and fairly priced. I will only use them going forward.

Mike showed up and saved the day!! In the throws of our Phoenix heat our A/C went out and he showed up promptly and was courteous, professional and kind. He had us up and running in a few minutes and we are SO grateful!!
Remember to thank and appreciate hard working men like Mike and his company folks, they work in this heat to keep us all comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend this company. Thanks Mike!!

Our ac unit had been acting up for about a week (this was this past summer) and so I knew we had to hire a professional to fix our problem. Our thermostat was set to 79 between 12 and 7, but the inside air was getting warm, going from 80 to 83/484 and not cooling down until about 10pm at night. Our ac was just RUNNING for hours. My dad called these guys and they came out the same day and fixed our problem. We needed freon and our motor needed to be adjusted. They also dusted off our ac unit. Everything is working perfectly now! Thank you. Phillip, my dad has your number saved on his phone.. you got our business. Sorry for the late review.

Thanks for the fast response. One of our AC units stopped working. Johnny was able to get us back up and running within a couple of hours. Then thoroughly tested to make sure it was running right. Can't recommend highly enough.

My AC died on Father's Day. I called Hays and they were quick to respond.

They called 30 minutes before they arrived so I wasn't sitting around waiting.

The tech was knowledgeable and courteous. He showed me why the unit stopped and then quoted me a price.  When he told me he didn't have the part on his truck I assumed it be another day without AC. Nope, the part was delivered to my home in less than 30 minutes.  

Great company. I highly recommend them.

What a great experience. Darrin and his crew did a fantastic job. They could have replaced what we had, the way it already was and been done. But Instead, they reconfigured duct work and the furnaces for us to get maximum air flow.  We couldn't believe the difference.

This company is extremely professional and goes above and beyond. It was a great customer experience.

I have used Cool Zone for about a year and a half.  They installed a split system (for the previous owners of our home), which I couldn't figure out how to use.  I had another (redacted name company) out to replace a condensate line and to check the split system.  The other company indicated that the split system wasn't working and that they'd need to fix it.  I contacted Cool Zone since I found the split paperwork showing they had installed it and I was hoping it was under warranty.  Dave (owner) came out and showed me how to use the split system (no charge) and that it was working fine.  Since then, we've had them install a two stage system to address an issue with poor cooling of an area of the house, install Ecobee thermostats, do general checks and tune ups, and address a weird leak.  I've got nothing but great things to say about this company.  They are probably not the cheapest in town, but they show up on time, do the work correctly, and don't try to up sell.  Their prices seem about average, and less than (redacted company).  On a personal note, everyone I've interacted with in the company: Dave, Byron, Ryan, and Danette are great people as well.  

Support this local small business.  You will not be disappointed.

Appreciated the fast response when my system went down on a Friday night as guests were about to arrive.  System was restored quickly and the weekend was saved.

Once again Gladiate has delivered. Great pricing on my mid-summer checkup, that should have been done in April, yep I procrastinated again. I truly cannot express enough how happy I am to have them as my go to AC guys! Living in Phoenix, you just need that piece of mind that your AC will work...or get fixed in a pinch. Our AC went out two days before we got home from our honeymoon- not a fun thing to come back to!  I found these folks on Yelp and based on their reviews and comments, I gave them a call.

From my 10pm call on a Thursday night to the final install of our new unit, AZ Dukes of Air was there for us. They were able to diagnose the issue upfront when other companies could not and walked us through our options.  What I really appreciated was that even though we ended up getting a new unit, they gave us the most cost- efficient options (along with performance ratings) rather than the most expensive up front. They even gave us a portable unit to use while we waited for the new one to arrive.  Their employees (Robert, Dustin, John and Tonya (the owners)) are honest, personable and professional.

If you are looking for a family owned/operated company with integrity, these are the people you call.

I will be recommending this company to everyone I know! Whether you need help or not, it's so hard to find honest people these days. Not only was this the first company I called, it was the only company. Sometimes you can hear the sincerity in people's voices. After speaking with Lisa over the phone and talking with Jimmy in person, I just knew that whatever the diagnosis was it would be legitimate. I was told it could be one of two things...the starter or the compressor. Both were on opposite ends of the spectrum as far as cost goes. I feel that with my lack of knowledge with AC units many other companies would have told me I needed a compressor. Luckily, my problem was the least severe of the two and it was fixed in no time. Reasonable price and excellent work! Thanks guys!

We have worked with Michael for years with his former company and we are excited to follow him to his own new company. He is trustworthy, professional, knowledgeable and great to work with!

Alan is the BEST!!  My heater broke down last year and I had CPM Air come out to look at it and after a year of trying to get them to fix my heater which they quoted me at $650 to replace a part and to replace the thermostat that they replaced last year that doesn't even work, I finally decided to get someone else in after several futile attempts to get them to call me back.  I found out in the process of calling around that I have a very unique chiller system that is rarely used anymore and not too many companies will or are able to repair these units. I ran across Alan's Air on Yelp and he was the only company out of the 4 companies I called that would work on my type of system. He came out, took the piece off and took it home with him and repaired the unit, and came back the next day and installed it, instead of telling me to replace it like most companies seem to do these days and also gave me a new programmable thermostat saving me $400!! I am so glad I stumbled across Alan and I will never use anyone else!!

Ideal Energy is AMAZING!!! I had the company come out and bid the work for my AC, duct work, and insulation. They were extremely professional, competitively priced, clean, on time, and did QUALITY work. I wish I could post pics to show my SRP scorecards and the quality of the work, but I'll summarize. In July 2012, before installation of the new AC (Trane) and duct work, my home had a scorecard rating of 10 (least efficient), and in August I had dropped to a 4 (in 1 month), and now consistently receive scores of 2-3. My home is 2 stories and approximately 2000 sq ft w/ no pool. My bills in 2012 went from $380 (July) to $215 (August) to $190 (September), and in 2011 my bills were $395 (July) to $470 (August) to $505 (September). The owners of Ideal Energy LLC also took their time to research all of the government/energy credits and assisted me in making the process simple to receive my credits/refunds. Wouldn't choose another company in the valley! Cheers!

Fadel came out and serviced/assessed our aging swamp coolers (20+ years) a few months ago.  He was professional and honest.  Got our coolers as functional as possible and advised us on future replacement.  Once the unit threw the belt again, found the motor housing cracked, he said it was time to replace.  Doug was very helpful in ordering & scheduling replacement.  Shawn & Adam were here on time and got started ASAP. Install went smoothly and Fadel came out to double check.  He even communicated with the electrician to ensure that portion of the work was new, correct and up to standard for the new unit. Would recommend Desert Comfort Mechanical to anyone.  Our experience is based on commercial building swamp cooler, but have confidence in their skill & integrity and will certainly call for other issues in the future!!

I had the Company install a new A/C unit in my condo and from the outset, Craig Orr, the sales tech was there and assessed the needs. He determined, unlike the other companies who quoted, that there were problems with the existing duct work. He gave me a detailed proposal and the price was the best and included repairing the duct work -- He made sure the install was perfect, and in fact it was.  Tom and his 2 Technicians were great on the install-- professional, courteous and completed the job without a hitch. Their attention to customer satisfaction is stellar and they, as part of the install will come back in 3 weeks to make sure all is functioning as it should.  I have lived in AZ for 10 years and had a number of companies service my A/C but they are clearly heads above the competition-- totally recommend them

My wife and I are first time homeowners and this was our first time buying an A/C unit. Had to do a lot of research to know what was good and bad and to understand some of the terminology. We had probably 6-7 quotes done before we decided. I knew I wanted to get it done before summer since our Carrier system was almost 20 years old...Wasn't going to let our system run through another summer. Like telling grandpa to run a triathlon.
Pam was friendly and reliable to count on, to get any questions answered and to get us on the schedule. Kevin was knowledgeable and fair with his quote when he came by to take a look at our system. Haven't really had the need to test out the system since it's still nice but so far I'm pretty happy with our system and can feel more relaxed about having a new system in place for summer. I am happy about the 10 year parts/compressor warranty and 1 year service included. The two installers worked hard and got it installed and running in about 4 hours. Good choice of a company to choose.

Keith and Dominick are very professional and prompt. My AC went off on 8th July 2017, Saturday night. They came the next day. I had already troubleshooted and realized that fan capacitors had gone out. They fixed them quickly and charged me reasonably. I am impressed with them and would recommend them to others. My AC was up and running by 9 AM on 9th July.
