Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States
Jerry the owner is one of the best in this market. He is fast responder, friendly, knowledgeable and fair.. I've lost my roof A/C in the middle of August heat wave of 110-115 temperature. Jerry did diagnose the problem, initiated a plan, got the parts and fixed it. All done fast and professional. High five to you Jerry, please keep up the good work. I highly 100% recommend his company to friends, families and neighbors. Call him if your AC fails, you'll be happy

Full disclosure here, I have not had any HVAC work done by this company. However, I've just completed a business transaction with Derek. This young man impressed the heck outa me. He did what he said he would do, was honest, and concerned for my welfare as well in addition to being responsible and respectful.

Honest and very professional... Found myself a permanent a/c guy to take care of all my a/c repairs. Bills a/c was more than fair and very good at there trade. after the other company less than professional services. Bills is a go to for a/c heating repairs.

Sammy was very helpful informing me of available options, and pricing.
When I finally said yes, we added an air purifier as well.
Great communication, and was able to schedule in three days that fit with my schedule.
Reminded me the night before that they would arrive at 7am, and they were right on time.
Finished in a timely manner, and cleaned work areas completely.

Just now Innovative Air Tech Garrett came to my home and did annual springtime maintenance on my home unit, and on the ductless splitter unit Innovative Air founder & owner Julius installed years ago on my guest house in the back yard.
Garrett was professional and knowledgeable and completed all the work in this one call. He made a minor correction that could have been a major problem in the weeks to come.
People like Garrett are the reason I recommend Innovative Air Conditioning & Heating to colleagues. Everyone at the company is great too, particularly Karen, who manages the office. And with preventive maintenance like today I can rest easy for the coming summer

If I could give them ten stars, I would. This company is honest to a fault, dedicated to getting to the bottom of the problem without costing an arm and a leg to do it. They even liased with my alarm company to get my thermostat working correctly, which was complicated and way above and beyond the call. They are prompt, polite and stand by their work. Most certainly a rare gem in this field. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I used Popeye's Air last summer to service and repair my 2 units. Our units are older builder grade that came with the home. Jorge, the owner, explained how newer units would be beneficial but fixed our old ones with no problem. It's heating up again here In Arizona and his repairs lasted all of last summer and this one. He is very personable and gracious. He didn't overcharge. He is honest and we'll definitely be calling him again for repair or service or if we buy new units :)

My AC was tripping the breaker so I found Scott on Goggle and gave them a call, he called me back quickly and was out just a few hours later right when he said they would be. I needed a new motor and they did the job very quick and for a great price. It's really hot right now so I'm glad they got me up and going again so quick. No muss no fuss just the way I like it. I would recommend them to anyone and I'll call them again if I need it, hopefully not for awhile though.

Chase (the owner) is truly a professional. He responds quickly and gets the job done very well, timely and at a reasonable cost. He has always taken excellent care of our HVAC. I highly recommend Top Gear to anyone needing scheduled maintenance, repairs, or a new heating and/or cooling unit!

After returning from Vacationing abroad. Came home to 100+ degree weather. Reached out to Alexis at Royalty Air, and to my surprise, set me up with a same day visit to check out my lower floor Ac unit. Unfortunately the compressor did not hold up. (Was an older unit) Alexis ordered me a new one. By the very next day he arrived and set it up. Top notch service all around. I will recommend Royalty Air to my friends and family.

I've had such a good experience with Emery Cooling, Heating, and Solar, I feel it's important to share my experience with a top-notch contractor. Generally, I'm not a person who does online reviews of construction or service jobs. With that said, I waited for a couple of weeks after the installation to make sure everything was still a quality, top-tier job. Spoiler alert: It absolutely IS a top tier company with the highest quality of customer service I've encountered since moving to AZ.
TLDR; Emery Cooling, Heating and Solar is, hands down, the best company I've hired in Arizona for the past 12 years.
Please note: I have posted this same review on Google. I am still not a robot.
A quick summary of my experience from January to mid-February 2023... When I filled out the online form for HVAC companies, I knew there would be a lot of responses to sort through. What I didn't expect was a written response generated in the first 4 minutes followed by a phone call from the owner of the company, Richard Emery. On that call, Richard carefully listened to my situation, evaluated a course of action and was able to have a recommendation based on ALL OF THE FACTS.
I've been employed in construction, off and on, for almost 40 years. There's something profound about helping someone solve a real-world problem and providing a real-world solution, at a fair price, on time, at budget, both quickly and professionally. Richard and his crew are very good at their job.
After working the trades for nearly 20 years, Richard Emery started his own company and has hired an impressive group of people with a wide range of experience spanning several different areas of construction trades. He told me one of the reasons he started Emery Cooling, Heating, and Solar was because he was sick of seeing people not getting a company that was reliable and fairly priced.
I was astounded to discover how knowledgeable his guys are - not just in HVAC, but in nearly every trade needed to pull off a major installation for the customer. I suspect his company can run sewers-to-solar and everything in between. That's a rare quality for an experienced contractor in Arizona. The fact that he has an agreement with a financing company for big ticket items sealed the deal on affordable price and great value.
Richard worked with me to find the absolute best option for my needs. He listens carefully to the customer and provides a detailed proposal covering all of the individual aspects of the job. If the quote isn't quite correct, he fixes it -- right then, right now.
Many contractors will tell you Customer Service is number one. That sounds good, but Emery Heating, Cooling and Solar LLC isn't most contractors. He and his crew will work as long as it takes, even if it means showing up on days and times most convenient for his customers. Other companies don't usually make accommodations for installation and repair. Richard Emery absolutely does. The owner of the company shows up and works alongside his team. The owner of the company gets his hands dirty to make sure the job is done correctly.
In my particular experience, there was one little thing I wanted done which I didn't notice, and that I missed on the final walkthrough. I sent a message to the company asking if this one thing had been done. Richard responded almost immediately. Within 15 minutes after the call, someone was at my house and fixed the issue. It was after 7:00pm. It was dark. It required a ladder and flashlight. 20 minutes after my call, it was also DONE.
Earlier, I started this review saying I never give online reviews. I expect professionals to do professional work. I've been disappointed by other companies. I've fought with contractors to fulfill the scope of work which was IN WRITING on the contract. That fight didn't, and I suspect Wouldn't, happen with this company. I'm beyond impressed. I couldn't be happier about our family's decision to hire Emery Cooling, Heating, and Solar.
I have two last words to finalize this long review:
HIRE THEM.

Our A/C Compressor went out. Our home warranty company sent us another vendor. Thy said the compressor was shot but convinced my wife to replace the entire 25 year old unit (outside of the warranty coverage). A few month later the original thermostat needed replacing. The other vendor wanted to charge $225 (even though they should have replaced it as part of replacing the A/C, and even then should not have charged us more than the $75 service charge had we called the warranty plan to do it. So we said no thanks, called the warranty plan, and they assigned Heat Slayer. They accepted that I told them the thermostat needed to be replaced and brought one with them and installed it in 30 minutes (I feared they'd first need the warranty company to approve their assessment, but no, they treated it as a done deal). Heat Slayer was excellent and I'd never hesitate to use them again.

This is a great local place that I will definitely use in the future for my A/C needs. My A/C went out on a Sunday and there was no weekend pricing surge, which was nice and he got out to my house that morning and took care of it. I really appreciated the prompt service.

A neighbor of ours had AirNow replace their central A/C system a few years back and spoke highly of AirNow on all counts. So we got a quote from AirNow, went with them for our new A/C system install this past June, and in the end, we are very happy all around with price and service and an easy all around experience. From the initial quote/consultation with Lito, he came across as straight forward and honest and there was no upsell pressure on any level which was refreshing. Lito and his associate did a good job on the install also and no problems whatsoever. In addition, I found the office staff on the phone I interacted with, Lynn, Rita, and Tiffany who I touched base with on scheduling, etc., were all very friendly and easy to work with.
Highly recommended!

I will only get ripped off once!!! Cool Breeze Refrigeration charged me 498 dollars for a 20 dollar part ( a limit switch) and an hour and a half worth of work. I'm going to tell everyone that I know in Payson, Arizona not to ever use these people. Most attorney's don't make 250 dollars per hour!!!!

This is either the busiest business in Phoenix or the most incompetent.
They very quickly and efficiently came to diagnose an issue with a leak and recommended a remediation company.
They collected our 50% down payment on July 29 and removed our defective air handler and outside unit on Aug 4. And now I am struggling to get them to schedule an install.
The customer service staff is very friendly but my opinion is that there is a massive communication problem within the company - every phone call requires a call back which, in my experience, never happens.
I believe I am a super friendly and reasonable person and i have called every day and have kindly asked them to give me any information about an install date. Nothing. Just a version of someone will get back to you shortly
I am prepared to cancel the installation but since they have $6000 on my credit card it's unclear whether I will get that back so at this point I'm being held hostage.
Beware.
