Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

We are selling our house and needed to fix a couple things with our HVAC unit. I contacted J&M Sunday night through Yelp and they scheduled me right away and were out first thing Monday morning. They checked out the things listed in our inspection report and addressed what needed to actually be fixed. Didn't pressure us into anything extra. Simple and affordable and fast couldn't ask for anything better!

Came home on a Sunday night to find one of our A/C units not working properly. Looked on Yelp for local companies with good reviews. I sent a message through Yelp around 8pm on Sunday night not expecting to hear anything until Monday. To my surprise I had a response within minutes and better yet a service call scheduled for first thing Monday morning. Couldn't be happier with the experience. Great service at a fair price.

We had trouble with our air conditioner and Matthew was here within an hour.  He was very helpful and was able to resolve the problem quickly.  Thanks for the great service!

CW came to repair my home AC this past Tuesday and installed a totally brand new Trane system by 2:30 P.M. today, Friday! The service was both personal and excellent. And, of course, the total contract price was $2k less than I had anticipated. I am ultra pleased with CW, their work, service and cost. I would recommend them to anyone! I got a bargain and am very pleased and satisfied!

These guys are alright. They did okay with my unit replacement. Good for getting right out here and getting it repaired in fairly good time.

It was a beautiful spring morning when I heard my daughter say the last thing a parent never wants to hear.  There's water coming from the ground.  Sure enough, water was backing up out of our clean out pipe.  I tried to reason with it and I had a pretty solid argument, but it was a clog and couldn't be reasoned with.

I found Hansen Family Plumbing on Yelp with so many stars next to their name and called, hoping for any availability.  They could send someone that afternoon (between 2-5).

I received a text with our plumber's name and photo when he was on his way.  The plumbers who came out, Preston & Jordan, arrived at 2.  They did an assessment of the issue and got to work.  Preston did an excellent job of keeping me updated on their progress as they hit a snag and and to call a supervisor out who had different equipment.

The supervisor (sorry I didn't get his name) showed me the issue on his pipe camera.  Roots growing into the pipe and gave suggestions how to address the problem.

Excellent, friendly, and prompt service.  Would recommend.

I have been calling Steve personally ever since he gave us a quote for a new AC. I didn't buy an AC from them originally but did remember Steve and his honesty. A couple years later I did have the need to replace my AC and went with a Bosch unit from DD. Since then I have relied on Steve to service all 3 units on my house. He is always timely(usually that day) and gets the job done quickly. Good guy in a good company.

Highly recommended for Cooling and Heating services! I just had a complete new system installed and I couldn't be more happier. The process was easy from start to finish. The prices were great along with the service I received. Personable, professional and reasonable.

I'm new to the Phoenix area and called North Valley Mechanical due to their proximity to me and their high yelp score.  I'm very glad I did - they had Chris Haak out the next day who diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly and at a reasonable price.  He also noticed one of our fans was mounted upside down and repaired that free of charge.  Couldn't have asked for someone more honest and knowledgeable.  Thanks!

After dealing with some 'difficult' HVAC companies, Arizona A/C Man has been nothing but awesome to deal with. Brett is super professional and friendly. A pleasure to deal with. He checked out our (failing) AC motor and eventually replaced it under warranty in very short order for a very reasonable price on the labor. No doubt that I will call upon them again in the future.

Found AC doctors on Yelp last summer when my AC unit stopped working at our Tempe house. They were actually a second opinion because the first AC company came out and told me I needed an $800 part to fix it. Something just didn't seem right so I called AC Doctors for a second opinion. They came out that same day and got my AC working while they were there. Apparently I didn't need an $800 part and the condenser had just froze up. How do ya like that. Thank goodness I called them. They will be my first call from now on for any AC work on any of our houses. Would definitely recommend.

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

Do not recommend. At the time we thought it was great but now we're having the same issues with my ac again, come to the roof to check things out and this is how he left my ac unit. He left all the wires exposed and didn't tuck anything back away and now my ac has shorted again because he never tucked everything away from the weather. Now I'm out an ac unit again because he didn't know how to finish his job correctly.
$600 later and I still have a broken unit.

A/C needed more freon & forgot that I used True North last time & was looking around to find someone & there prices were outrageous! Found the business card above my thermostat, right where Mike left it last time & called them. Not only were they here within a few hours, Johnny was courteous, & reasonable. I referred them to my friend who needed an a/c company & will refer them to all my friends & family.  My go to from now on!

Carlos and his partner came out on short notice after when we turned our unit on for the first time this season, only to find no cooling.  The techs were friendly, efficient, and best of all successful! We have cool air.

Our AC went out overnight and I called 3 companies that said they offered 24/7 service. I left voicemails at 4AM and received a call back just before 6AM from Alan at American Cooling & Heating. He was so kind right off the bat and said he could be to our house by 8:30AM...I said today?!. He said yes, ma'am, I'm going to finish my next job and I'll be over. Holy cows! So Al showed up right at 8:30 as promised, diagnosed the issue, talked to my over protective, watch out for scammers father over the phone, explained everything in detail to his satisfaction, fixed the problems and I'm sitting here in a cool house before 10AM! This company exceeded all of my expectations! We will be calling Al for a maintenance check in May and highly recommend him to everyone!

Howard Air just saved my life!  After waiting for another company to install a blower motor for 13 days in the July heat of Phoenix (with excuse after excuse), I walked into Howard Air to see if they could be of assistance.  The answer was YES! I was there on a Friday afternoon, and by Saturday the next day, I had a blower motor installed and working. No wonder Howard Air has received the BBB Award for Ethics!

They showed up to fix a clogged plumbing line.  I am giving one star because the service tech was very friendly.  He was at my home a total of maybe 15 minutes to run a snake throgh the drain pipe.   3 days later when the same thing happened, I was scheduled for the following day between 10 an 2.  No one showed up.  We called 3 times and was told each time that a tech would reach out to us.  Finally at 5:30 someone did call to tell us our septic tank need to be drained and they do not do that work.  I explained that when speaking to the tech earlier in the week he said we should have at least another 3 years before it should need pumping.  He did not inspect anything so I am unsure why this new person, who called us 3 hours after our scheduled appointment would say that.  She said she would have a Supervisor call us back to discuss it.  We never got that call either.  I did call a septic pumping company out, they did pump the tank,  even though it was only half full, but hey...  we all ready had dug 3 feet down to expose the lid for them.  They ran a pressure hose through the main pipe (the one Goettl snaked originally)  and found a clog within abou 20 feet.  This was an additional $450.00 I did not need to spend.

For Goettl to blatently ignore our calls, and the schedule that they set up, only to call us after hours to tell us they would not even come out to redo the work they did inefficiently the first time is beyond upsetting.  I will NEVER recommend this company to anybody for any services they offer.  They have very poor customer service skills and show an apparent lack of concern for client happiness.
