After having many unpleasant experience with other contractors, AirTime renewed my faith in good service professionals again. I needed routine service performed on two units. They were able to get me scheduled the following week! Josh was excellent, very thorough, and explained everything. One of the units needed some wiring replace, which he was able to do on the spot. Total costs were extremely reasonable, under $300. Highly recommend!

After my request posted, within minutes I received a response and luckily I was able to have someone come out the same day. Richard was very thorough and professional. I appreciate having his level of expertise and knowledge. He pinpointed the issue and showed me what the problem was, luckily he had the part in his truck. Within minutes my unit was working again. The price was very reasonable. I would recommend M&R to all my friends and family. Keep supporting small businesses!!!

Our zone damper motors/actuators began to malfunction. Chase diagnosed the problem and replaced the affected units the following day. He was very polite and professional at all times. I plan to use A Quality HVAC for all future issues.

Arcadia provided great service on a same day service call- it was even Father's Day. The problem was quickly diagnosed and service was completed at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend and will be using again for all my HVAC needs.

Hansen Family Plumbing fixed a water pressure issue and converted a washer/dryer gas line into a range line for us. Ours is a newly purchased home with several issues. From Gabriella (scheduling) to Dick (estimator) to Jordan (technician), our service was exceptional. They responded promptly and each fix was explained ahead of time. A great value and refreshing to work with this professional team. Highly recommend!

I called Desert Diamond Mechanical today because my AC had stopped working. Just as promise I had a technician arrive between 5PM and 8PM. His name was Ivan. Not only did he find the problem which was my circuit breaker box (which needs repairs), but went beyond in helping me with other matters related to my AC unit. I love this company and I have used them for years. Ivan, thank you for working late hours without additional service fees. Thank you for arriving within hours of my request.

We would without a doubt recommend NVM to everyone. Jim Reed spent time to educate us about our options and then helped us to make the right decision for our heating/cooling needs AND budget.
On day of intstall, Jim showed up with his team, Tim, Victor and Ramon, on time and walked them through the project--he also stopped back in at the end of the day to check on progress. Their can-do attitude and attention to detail (from install to clean-up) made a dreaded experience a pleasant one. Jim was our point of contact from beginning to end. Seriously, who provides this kind of customer service anymore? Nicely done--Thank you!

I couldn't be happier with the service, professionalism, and value I received from Arizona A/C Man when purchasing a new evaporative cooler.
Dave came out on Monday gave me a great price on replacing my decrepit, forty year old evaporative cooler. Told me he could do it that Wednesday. He was right on time, did a thorough and professional job. Saved me a lot of money compared to other estimates I received. He did everything he said he would do and he even dealt with an existing water issue that wasn't his responsibility and he was a pleasure to have at my home.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dave and Brett from Arizona A/C Man to my friends and family and will have them back anytime I need A/C or Evap service.

Happy, screwed or happily screwed. In early December '19, it seemed that our 11 year old Goodman HVAC system was intermittently blowing cool air instead of hot air. We had a PM (Preventative Maintenance) schedule for late December with Emergency Air, with whom we had a PM contract. As a result of that PM session we were advised that the Integrated Fan Controller was intermittently failing causing the problem that we were encountering. The estimate for fixing was just over $1,000. Being a bit suspicious about the cost (I do have some HVAC background), we decided to get a second opinion. We chose A/C Doctors to give that opinion. We scheduled their visit, told them of our issue but they could not find a problem. We did not tell them of the other company nor their finding.
We had a bit of traveling to do mid-January to early February so we turned the system off (as we approached our travel, the situation was getting worse), deciding to get it fixed when we returned. We contacted A/C Doctors again for a service call; this time they found that the problem was the Integrated Fan Controller and estimated the cost to replace to be around $600. We had them replace the controller and with the credit for the previous service call and a $25 online coupon credit, the final cost was around $563. I did have the foresight to request the defective board when the installation was done. This seemed to be a typical problem with older Goodman units so I decided to see what the real cost of the controller board was since they didn't break out the hardware vs. installation cost. I've included a pic of a quick internet search showing the board was easily available for around $50. So I just paid $500 for installation? Or the board was marked up maybe 5 or 6 times. Installation was about an hour - 2 techs (one shadowing the other) - maybe $200 for installation. That leaves over $300 for a $50 board.
So, I'm quite happy that they duplicated the problem and fixed the problem - so I'm happy. I'm not happy that a $50 board was marked up outrageously - so I feel screwed. So should I be happy that I got screwed, just happy or just screwed. Note: I will be post a similar post on Emergency Air's Yelp site too!

A/C went out on a Friday night in early May. Freddy answered his phone at 10:30 and was going to head over to my house to check. Since it appeared to be icing up, we decided to have him come over the next morning instead.
Since I knew my system was cresting 20 years old, I didn't hold out hope for a repair and sure enough I was leaking coolant from many coils. It could not be repaired. And who sets aside thousands of dollars for a new AC system?
Freddy was professional and explained all the options. There was varying degrees of costs and Freddy never pushed any option. He patiently answered questions on each option.
His company offers Wells Fargo financing, so it helps in making a more long term investment rather than an immediate cheap fix. Given this, I opted to go with a 21 seer variable speed system. After researching they should offer the best energy efficiency and lowest monthly electric bills.
Everyone who is in this situation should get multiple estimates. I had 5 people come and give bids after Freddy. He beat all their prices and presented the most knowledge. A few contractors talked about tearing out my ceiling, leaving me with either drywall repairs or more costs to fix it. One even talked about cutting into my roof trusses to get the unit to fit - a potential structural issue as I saw it. None of these things happened with Freddy's install.
Freddy delivered the system on schedule and the install went smoothly and quickly. It was about six hours total. His crew was clean, respectful and quick. They knew what they were doing.
Since this was a variable speed system, it takes some getting used to. My old system was full on with a full blast of cold air and then off. This unit can come on really low and you don't necessarily feel a cold air blast. It's more like a light breeze. This difference highlighted some hot spots in my home, so Freddy came back out a few days later to adjust vents and air flow. All good since.
Other companies also used the power company rebate to make it look like you were paying less. Freddy gave a very competitive bid and I got to keep the rebate to add to the loan, if I wanted.
With any install, Freddy includes maintenance and tuneups in his price for 2 years. You can add more years to keep an expensive purchase in top shape.
This is an up and coming company that wants to do right by their customers.
Phoenix has a thousand AC companies so if you're like me, you don't know who to call or who to trust. What I appreciated most about Freddy was his explanations on things and his low pressure approach. His prices were good, but I'd have spent more if I hadn't gotten a good feeling on his business. You want things done right and if something does go wrong, you want someone who stands behind their work to make it right. That was my feeling on Freddy and why I opted to use him.

I called this morning Saturday the 2nd of April at 7:00 am and spoke the owner, I Believe his name was Mike (not sure) but he got me scheduled for today to get a technician out to look at my heat pump, which was not blowing out cold air, he said he would have Johnny out at 10:00 today, which was wonderful.
Johnny called a half hour before his arrival at 9:30 telling us he was on his way. Once he got there he diagnosed the cooling problem, which was a motor that blew on the cooling condenser, it was old and Turning slow, he said he had the motor in his van and the price to replace it seemed reasonable, I was very pleased that I got my AC unit fixed so fast and for the great service, it was a pleasant experience, I have found a good company to survive my HVAC issues, owner was good and Johnny was very knowledgeable

We recently relocated from the East Valley to Carefree and called the A/C company that we had used prior to come out and service our A/C Unit and since they don't service the area I asked if they had another company they would recommend, and they recommended Four Seasons Home Services, and now I know why! Four Seasons Home Services has been the best A/C service company to deal with from scheduling to the service techs that came out, Carlos and Romario. I must say that I was very impressed with Carlos and Romario and the level of Professionalism, Attention to Detail and the willingness to go the Extra Mile in Customer Service! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company to anyone, so much so that being a REALTOR I now know who my GO-TO Company will be and I will be recommending them to my clients who need A/C and/or Plumbing services! These days it's rare to come across a company that one can say is an honest company and that offers FAIR PRICES, well I can now (for once) say that! And most of all their front line staff, the face of the company if you will, are obviously hand picked by the owner, Kevin, with care to represent his company. I saw that demonstrated in Carlo and Romario, and even the employee who I'd been talking to on the phone, Britni. Your company now has now gained yet another advocate that will be highly recommending your services! Thank You Four Seasons Homes Services, I look forward to seeing Carlos and Romario in the fall for the winter service! YOU GUYS ROCK!

I had a fantastic experience with American Cooling and Heating. I called on a Sunday afternoon in July and a technician (Al) was at my door in less than an hour. Al quickly diagnosed the problem with my air conditioner. I was pleasantly surprised when he told me that he had the part on his truck. Al fixed the problem in less than an hour and I was back to having a cool house! The next day a manager (Scott) called me to let me know that he had talked to my home warranty company and was able to get everything paid for by the home warranty company. I can whole heartedly recommend American Cooling and Heating. They are fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Al and Scott are assets to the company. Thank you for making a bad experience (no air conditioning in Arizona in July) a great experience.
**Update: almost 3 weeks later: I had a separate, unrelated issue with my air conditioner today. I was so happy when my home warranty company, once again, said I could contact American Cooling and Heating to fix the problem. Scott answered the phone immediately and took the report. He dispatched Al again, who was out within the hour and fixed the problem with friendly, fast service. The repair cost was reasonable and once again, I don't have to worry about my air conditioner. Love this company and Al and Scott!!

Zero! It has been since April 2018. I had Goettl come out to do a $79 Rejuvenation. My unit was working fine and all I wanted was my annual service which I do every year. The tech came and told me that I had a bad component. I said the unit works fine, and my home is OK with the heat and cooling. He showed me the bad part. $900 dollars later, and a n inspection of my attic, I was told that my ducts were in bad shape and about 25% or more of my heating and cooling was escaping from bad ducts. The tech told me that if i replaced the ducting my electric bill would be reduced by 30% or more. So $289 for a one year maintenance agreement and $6,000 for new ducts with duct dampers would bring my AC to near 100% efficiency and way better cooling and heating. About two weeks after the job was done the front half of my home was either too cold or too hot compare to the rest of my home. I called to complain and each time the tech came out they said that no dampers were installed and the house measured fine. I called the office and spoke on a open line with three of the bosses who schmoozed me and said they would send out another tech to make it right. The tech came out and confirmed that ZERO, NONE of the six dampers were installed. The tech said that they hardly ever install dampers, and that I was entitled to a refund for the dampers. I called the office again and emailed the office that I wanted cancel, and a refund of my $289, and I wanted a refund of the $6,000 as they did not install the ducts as they promised: TAPE, GLUE, and ZIP TIE each connection - which the photos clearly show was not done. And my electric bills for the last 13 months are virtually the same or higher. I can only conclude that my ducts were fine, the dampers were not installed, the part they replaced may have been ok, and I was ripped off, as they to this day, have not refunded me my $289, nor have they offered a refund for the six dampers they promised to install, and they didn't even install the ducts as promised. I have had three estimates from other companies who have been around for 15 plus years, and each one has told me that three ducts should have be separate, not splintered or pig-tailed, to control the air flow, and that dampers would have helped. I do not want to go to small claims over this but I feel I have no choice as I cannot trust Goettl to do the right thing. I to was taken in by their cute ads on the radio. Pleas do your research and get competitive bids. My review is a BIG ZERO. This is my first ever very bad review. I just want my $6,289 so I can get my home air balanced. I am 66 and tired of being taken. Got to make this right. May 10, 2019
