Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

We are selling our house and needed to fix a couple things with our HVAC unit. I contacted J&M Sunday night through Yelp and they scheduled me right away and were out first thing Monday morning. They checked out the things listed in our inspection report and addressed what needed to actually be fixed. Didn't pressure us into anything extra. Simple and affordable and fast couldn't ask for anything better!

I can't believe I don't have a review up for Bryan B and his team. I met him 8 years ago when I needed a new A/C at my old house. He was the neighbor of a friend. Just saw on my Facebook memories where the ladies had a mom's night out and Bryan and Air Time were our hot topic. Everybody appreciated his HONESTY and fair prices. He installed two new Tranes at my current house maybe 6 years ago. I have recommended them to at least half a dozen friends.

We had one issue where my unit wasn't heating well and the tech came out and couldn't find anything wrong. Couple weeks later I was positive something was wrong and they came back out and finally figured it out and corrected it and charged me a discounted price since they missed it the first time.

Do yourself a favor and just call Air Time first !

I've worked with Aaron and Daniel from this company and they both were amazing!  Daniel came most recently, today, to help solve our cooling issue.  Quick and easy service, got us back up and feeling cool again in no time.  He even explained what went wrong and took a moment to show me.  Thanks for your amazing service!  You will be the only cooling company I use and recommend.

I contacted this company for a routine AC check before the summer heat. The technician came out and told me my compressor was going bad. I told him that I had it replaced 3 years ago. He then told me that The AC leaking free-on and that when they changed my compressor(3 yrs ago)they didn't fix the real problem the Free-on leak so now my compressor is bad again. I have had 2 AC Services before this company and none of the techs told me I had a leak and or that my compressor was going bad. How did this company know that 3 years ago I had a free-on leak??? Then they gave me  quotes to fill with free-on and also to replace the entire AC unit.  Move forward bout a month, I go to turn on my AC and it doesn't work at all! I got outside and see that they left the fuse outside of the compartment. I put it back inside where is belonged and the AC worked. I since have had another AC company come out, referred to me by a close friend. The tech found that the shedder valve was loose and then capped, which allows for a slow leak of Free-on. This was left by Quality HVAC company's technician. Very upsetting and I'm glad I got a second opinion. My compressor is working just fine and I do not have a free-on leak!!

Our AC broke down on Sunday evening. Called 10 companies, no one could help. Arcadia air had us up and running in an hour. Professional, so kind and not sales-y. I am shocked that there are still people that care so much about their customers on a Sunday evening. Appreciated it so much and will recommend to everyone!

Just used Hansen's for the first time - a clogged toilet that plunging wouldn't fix. Robert fixed the problem and offered solutions for future reference without a heavy upsell pitch. Bottom line is I will call Hansens again if needed. Thanks, Robert!

We were desperately trying to get our AC company to call back. We ended calling DDM. We needed a tech to connect the electrical after our new roof was completed and within 2.5 hrs, Ivan was here, fixed our AC and recommended a follow up for PVC drain. So glad we found DDM and will call them again hopefully just for a season check up!

Highly recommended for Cooling and Heating services! I just had a complete new system installed and I couldn't be more happier. The process was easy from start to finish. The prices were great along with the service I received. Personable, professional and reasonable.

Just thought you should be aware that the owner of this company has been reported to the insurance provider. He lies through fabrication of stories. My recommendation is to steer far away this this owner and do not let him near your home.

We used AC Docs at our old residence for two fan replacements, and signed up for their membership to receive discounted parts, labor and tune-ups.  Great service!

We recently bought a different house which had two 2019 Trane units installed.  One unit failed on heating and our inspection found numerous issues with the installation of air handlers, drip pans and terrible ducting work (guessing unlicensed contractor)...  I was quoted over $5k from my realtor's contractor, so I called AC DOCTORS, who came 24hrs after my call.

After an inspection and initial quote to get the heaters working properly, North Scottsdale had snow the very next day, and now both heaters weren't operating...we called back to check the status of our repairs and they sent a team that day!  

First they did an emergency repair on two units, found that drier filters weren't installed so these TxV valves failed and needed new ones.  They ordered parts and had that repair done immediately!  Then we received the quote for ducting, adjusting air handlers and drip pans (which actually needed pumps instead), they performed two more sets of work and everything is running great, and I paid just over 50% of a competitor's quote!  Wow!

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

I reached out to Freddy's via Yelp after leaving a message with another A/C company with a 5 star rating on Yelp. The other guys never called me  back, but Freddy called me right away! He was friendly and asked if I was available that day. He came out that day, checked everything out, fixed the problem, charged me a fair fee and left. No B.S., just good old fashioned quality service with no price gouging.

Our A/C went out while it was still hot, so it wasn't ideal timing. I called a few places to get some quotes and decided to go with True North based on their great reviews and their competitive pricing. Mike (the owner) was a pleasure to work with and was able to get us on the schedule in two days! Our installers, Ronnie, Drake and Micah were polite, knowledgeable and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Our new system is up and running and we are very satisfied with the results. No more hot spots in the house and it's so much quieter. Mike did all the paperwork for us for the SRP credit and the trane warranty. Will definitely be using them for service as well. Bonus..it always feels good supporting a smaller company.

I had a huge problem and was getting frustrated with getting different answers from different AC companies.  Called and spoke with Kevin and he provided excellent customer service, I would highly recommend this company!

We called American Cooling and Heating this morning because the fan motor on our AC unit was making a lot of noise. Brent was here within a half hour. We couldn't believe we had someone here that fast. He replaced the motor and did a wonderful job. We have finally found a company that we can count on. The price quoted was exactly what we were charged, We highly recommend American Cooling and Heating.

Howard Air was referred to me by friends & I couldn't be more pleased. In the past I had a few negative experiences with other companies. Today's visit was for maintenance only but I also renewed my annual contract. I'd like to give a shout out to Miguel, my service technician, who provided excellent customer service.....prompt, personable, professional & explained his findings in detail. Even the dogs liked him!
All in all, I am very pleased with Howard Air.

A Goettl plumber was hired to replace my anode rod and flush/drain my water heater, $265.  Instead, as I later discovered, he removed my cold-water dip tube, and installed the anode rod in its' place.  This is completely incorrect. The dip tube sends cold water to the bottom of the tank to be heated. Without that dip tube, cold water was mixing with hot and only giving me lukewarm water at the faucets. 17 days later they sent out another plumber only to tell me I need a new water heater.  I asked him to troubleshoot (Check voltage, thermostats, heating elements, etc.) and tell me why I need a whole new unit. He refused to look at it and insisted I need a new unit. I called customer service again and complained again. They sent a 3rd person and he determined the anode rod was incorrectly installed. He removed the anode rod and reinstalled the dip tube.  I also received a full refund. But I am completely dissatisfied with this company and will never use them or recommend them. Their advertisements are a complete lie. They say they do it right, but in my case, they sabotaged my heater, then sent another person to my house to sell me a new heater. And based on reviews, this was not an isolated incident, this is their business model.
