Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

We are selling our house and needed to fix a couple things with our HVAC unit. I contacted J&M Sunday night through Yelp and they scheduled me right away and were out first thing Monday morning. They checked out the things listed in our inspection report and addressed what needed to actually be fixed. Didn't pressure us into anything extra. Simple and affordable and fast couldn't ask for anything better!

AC went out at night in mid-August. Called them at 6 am next morning, surprisingly someone answered (not voicemail), they showed up on site a few hours later, determined that a fan motor had failed, they had the part on their truck and quoted a price to fix it, and by about noon everything was fixed and my AC was blowing cold air again. They are punctual, reliable, honest, and charged a fair price. Their good reviews are well deserved.

The air conditioner was not working in our business. The service call guy came very fast he was friendly and checked it out found out what the problem was which was a bad fuse and was able to get it up and running quickly. The cost was fair and the service was great and we always like to support local small businesses like ourselves.

CW Air Conditioning and Heating is a great company!  They delivered everything they said they would!  They were professional and friendly!  The owner Chris was always available to take my calls and cares about his customers!  I highly recommend this company!

I can not express in words the relief I have in finding a reputable company for hvac after 18 years in living in the valley. A quality air not only answered my questions via phone ahead of time as best they could (something every other AC company will not do) they also not only fixed my issue with my main air handler drain being plugged quickly & efficiently but as well took care of a once over on my unit since another company (ace air) did shotty work at an excessively repulsive price ($1200 for a capacitor & fan motor, I was without AC for 10 days waiting for the part causing me to have a seizure from heat stroke and a bill to pay off for over a year, They refused to warranty their work if I wouldn't sign up for their service plan, which I wouldn't since I didn't ever want them stepping into my home again.

As a single female alot of times we are left to feel like prey for the frenzied commision based vultures in the HVAC field & we are at their mercy 100% in blazing desert summers with animals & humans not able to sustain life without ac... Central Air settled the West. Let's make this industry honorable again.

A quality air is not a step in the right direction but a HUGE LEAP in the right direction... I wish more companies could be reminded of what ethics are.

Robert, from Hansen Family plumbing, was friendly and showed up on time. He fixed our tub problem, cleared 4 drains, showed us a few maintenance tricks. I came back from vacation to find my air conditioner out. I found this place close by and they had availability at the time I was home with no extra charge. Still a little pricey for the part but I understand they have to make money too. The guy Ivan was very helpful and sweet. They are my place now.

Nothing but great things to say about North Valley Mechanical and tech Chris! Our AC went out last night on the eve of a day with record breaking heat, and I requested service through my home warranty about 9pm. By 8:15am today I was scheduled forcan appointment between 12 and 4. At 9:30am I got a call saying the tech had finished his previous job early and could he come now! Yay! The tech spent 3 hours in the blazing heat getting our unit up and running, providing us a detailed report of the work he had completed and recommendations for future work. Highly recommend this company!!

I couldn't be happier with the service, professionalism, and value I received from Arizona A/C Man when purchasing a new evaporative cooler.

Dave came out on Monday gave me a great price on replacing my decrepit, forty year old evaporative cooler.  Told me he could do it that Wednesday. He was right on time, did a thorough and professional job. Saved me a lot of money compared to other estimates I received. He did everything he said he would do and he even dealt with an existing water issue that wasn't his responsibility and he was a pleasure to have at my home.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dave and Brett from Arizona A/C Man to my friends and family and will have them back anytime I need A/C or Evap service.

These folks were amazing from start to finish. Our first tech, Justin, was early for the initial call (AC died). The appointment was set with a time window of 3-5 PM with a promise that they would come earlier if they could. They did. Justin went to bat for us with the manufacturer when it was determined that the part needed (a coil within the air handler) was on back order till September (that first appointment was on July 19th, and we live in Arizona) for non-registered units. We were out of warranty by 1 year because the builder did not register our unit (the normal protocol is for the builder to do the registration, which gives the homeowner a 10 year warranty. No registration means the unit goes to the default warranty of 5 years). He was able to get the manufacturer to give us an air handler at a drastically reduced price. He had the air handler put on hold and schedule our install for 8 AM, July 20th.

The install team of 4 guys showed up 5 minutes early. These guys were efficient and super professional. The lead installer had 11 years of experience (I'm nosy), and the rest of the team had varying degrees of experience. They said my attic was the smallest area they had ever worked in. Yet I never heard one complaint. Just smiles. When the work was done, they had left the work area cleaner then when they started.

By the way, they were referred to me by one of the valley's largest home rental companies. This company owns and manages over 5,000 homes in the Phoenix metroplex. They only use top rated companies. AC Doctors is a company that clearly has amazing follow through. The staff we met were fantastic. I'm writing this review in my 76 degree house with a huge smile and a happy wife! Thanks AC Doctors.

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

Yelp wasn't kidding when it said Freddy replies to inquiries within 20minutes. Within 30minutes of posting an inquiry, he was at my door ready to check out our AC.  Freddy took the time to analyze the problem with our AC unit and got our issue fixed. He answered all of my questions and explained how our system is working.  His pricing is fair and over-all a nice guy. He's now my go to guy for my AC issues.

Extremely happy with the high level of customer service both before and during our service appointment today.  No surprises and Johnny our technician couldn't have been more thorough, professional, or pleasant.  We will be using True North 2x per year for checking our heating and AC system moving forward.  I highly recommend!!!

I don't typically leave reviews but felt this company deserved it. I noticed about 4:00 in the afternoon that my AC was blowing warm air and the temp in my house was rising quickly as it was over 100 degrees outside. I left a message for the company that did my AC tune up a few months ago but didn't hear back from them right away (which is not surprising this time of year, but almost 24 hours later, I still haven't heard back). So I got on the NextDoor app. I called the first company I saw and they not only answered the phone but had a technician here within a few hours. The technician was friendly and super knowledgeable and extremely patient explaining the AC system to a very clueless individual (me). Lol!!!  I felt the price was more than fair and let's face it, when your AC goes out, you really are at the mercy of the people that can fix it. Bottom line, call Four Seasons. You won't regret it!!!

Terrific service and unmatched price.

I had my rooftop AC replaced. I obtained 7 quotes.

I obtained several quotes from the AC companies that advertise heavily on TV. Not surprising their quotes were significantly higher (to cover their advertising costs).

I also obtained quotes from AC companies with strong online reviews. Only one company came somewhat close to American Cooling's price but couldn't match American Cooling's warranty.

American Cooling is run by Scot. He picks up the phone when you call. All the other companies I called had a dispatch person answering calls.

Scot has an extensive background in designing and installing large commercial AC jobs. So, residential work is very simple for him. He patiently answered all my questions and promptly responded, even on weekends. I'm so glad I went with Scot's recommendation on unit size and unit type. He didn't try to up-sell me (to make more money) and he didn't try to down-sell me to make a quick sale.

I would trust Scot to replace my elderly mom's AC and highly recommend him to my friends. He relies on word of mouth for business, not advertising. So, he has a strong interest to make sure his customers are happy.

Scott requires his installers to text him a complete set of photos of the finished work before the installer can leave. Scot makes sure the work is done right. He did just that for me. As soon as the work was done, Scot registered my unit.

My new AC unit is 4 months old now and it's keeping me nice and cool during this hot summer.

If you read this far... here's a tip. All AC brands, including Trane, use the same parts. Trane's advertising makes it seem like they're a premium brand.  As a result, they're able to charge a premium price. Scot does installs Trane. He quoted me the best price on a Trane unit but he quoted me an even better price on a RUUD unit. Very glad I went with the RUUD unit.

My service today was outstanding. They friendly and honest and told me the bare bones if my a/c problems and offered ideas and different solutions for me to choose from. I would call them again anytime I need heating and air service. Thank you Bryan. Medel. I am grateful for the excellent customer service!

I have had great experiences in the past with Goettl. As have my parents. That being said. They were supposed to come out to my moms home for a standard service call 2 weeks ago. My mom is currently out of state caring for her elderly mother, so my 23 year old has been caring for her home. She waited at home for 4 hours and no one showed. Then she checks her voicemail only to have a message stating hello, this is Goettl calling to tell you WE need to reschedule. Then Goettl proceeds to call my mom and tell her they didn't make that phone call and that my daughter actually called them telling them she has Covid... NO ONE WAS SICK. She never made that call and we have phone records to prove it. Fast forward to today 11/12 and I am now waiting for Goettl. I get a text at noon stating someone is on the way even though our time frame was between 2 and 5. Cool they will be early. No one shows up so I call and get told that they were just making sure someone was home. I also have a text message stating someone was ready to come the the home.. I said fine no problem we will wait until 2-5. I get asked if anyone is sick and say NO. At a little after 2 I get the text saying eric is in the way. Then a few minutes later get a call saying the tech is concerned because we have COVID!! I tell them that NO has Covid nor have we HAD Covid! They need to update the account. We end the call and 10 minutes later I get ANOTHER call saying the same thing!!! I told them to update the account that we have never had COVID, no was has been sick in the home and to please go do their job. This is really making me want to not use you again!
