Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

Tracy was very prompt and found some issues during a routine HVAC inspection and tune-up on two of my properties recently. Explained what was wrong. The bills were very reasonable. He is my go-to HVAC man for all my properties now.

I called Airtime on a referral from another friend of mine who had two air-conditioning units installed. Brian came out and gave me a quote for free did not have a hard upsell approach just told me what I needed and was very professional and acted with a lot of integrity.  Their quote was several thousand dollars less than the other two quotes I received from other companies.  They were scheduled to install two units in my house at 6 AM in the morning and they showed up on time, worked hard and clean, got the units installed and were very clean and very thorough. They also schedule to follow up in two weeks to confirm that the units were working correctly.  What a nice touch.  This is a small family owned company with over 20 years experience in the business located in the south Chandler area.  I would highly recommend calling them for a quote!

Very pleased with the stellar customer service provided by Matt who responded within minutes to my voicemail message. He then took the time to educate me on the possible issues my system was having, then provided a more-than-fair estimate over the phone which was half the price a more popular big box HVAC company quoted me who I had originally consulted. His tech, Oscar, showed up on time with a Can Do, Will Do attitude and didn't try up-selling me on parts or services I didn't need, nor did he try high pressuring me into an annual service agreement (unlike the company mentioned above). Oscar was quick yet thorough in his workmanship, and had no issue answering my questions and giving me money-saving advice on things I needed to repair immediately as well as things that could wait. During the repair, Oscar realized the part he needed wasn't on his truck so he immediately tracked down another tech who delivered the part to my house within about 20 minutes. Due to the honest, prompt quality service I received, I plan to be a life long customer. My A/C unit and furnace are past their prime, so when the day comes to replace them, M&R Refrigeration will be my first and only call.

This is my new go-to AC/Heating contractor.

A year ago I had another company tell me that I needed to replace my 12 year old Trane heat pump because I had a Freon leak.  I'm not here much in the summer and I have a split system so I put it off.  When I came back into town in November everything was working OK and I got good heat out of that unit all winter.

I was due a servicing so I called CW based on their reviews and I'm glad I did.  Rick came out and spent almost 2 hours checking out and cleaning both heat pumps.  He couldn't find a leak and said everything was working fine and should continue to work OK for the foreseeable future.  

I like honest people.

We have used A Quality for years, the entire team is awesome. Few years ago we had a small ac fire our insurance company sent out an adjuster and a big name hvac company to give me a song and dance trying to tell me that my outside unit is blown and needs to be replaced with one of their high end systems including a attic Hp. I was skeptical remembered a company that attended same church so we called. The next day a tech came out and informed us we did not need a new unit but our fan motor is bad and it would only be around 300. I was sold the technicians have integrity and our very ethically sound. As a field tech myself my family's felt comfortable with the cooling decisions without the BS scare tactics like other companies.

Manny and the whole Arcadia Air team have been amazing. Thorough, friendly, and very informative! Highly recommend.

Good communication did what we asked and did what they said they would do. Quoted us a price and stuck to it. Even called back to follow up and to see if everything was fine.

Based on all the great reviews, I scheduled tune ups for my 2 older Trane units. The tech was on time, polite, and professional. This is not the problem. The problem is the pricing policy they use.
Issue 1 - even though I already agreed to pay $89 per unit for the tune ups, the tech, upon finding 2 capacitors near catastrophic failure (80% out of tolerance) quoted me $220 each to replace them. Note that he had taken them off the equipment to measure them, took photos and put them back on! (OEM capacitors are $10 each and the upgraded ones suggested are about $15).
Issue 2- refrigerant check found I needed an estimated 2.5 lbs of r-22. The quote for this was $525!
This gas is being phased out and is not used in newer machines. BUT it is readily available in amounts as small as 2 lbs. at a local company for $40 per lb. Thousands of machines use this.
Shocked to my socks at these prices, I declined the quoted work, and paid the $180 for the tune ups only.
I emailed my concerns to Desert Diamond and subsequently spoke with Cody to understand how they could defend what I believe to be outrageous prices and practice. Cody defended this as due to a flat rate policy, overhead, truck roll etc.. which made no sense as the overhead and truck roll should have already been covered by the tune up charge, which was high in itself.
I subsequently bought the OEM caps from Amazon and replaced them myself. I had another company do summer tune ups again (I did not tell them about the 1st company work or quotes) and finding I needed only 1lb. of refrigerant charged me $179 for the total 2 unit check and gas.
Bottom line..beware.

Highly recommended for Cooling and Heating services! I just had a complete new system installed and I couldn't be more happier. The process was easy from start to finish. The prices were great along with the service I received. Personable, professional and reasonable.

My AC started acting funny on a Saturday evening and totally went the next day. I had to sleep without cooling for one night and that was enough for me. Because my unit is an R-22 model that would need to be completely replaced in two years anyway I secured bids from multiple companies. Based on Yelp reviews and overall pricing I decided to go with North Valley.

Kirk is an old school owner who came in to provide the estimate and was able to size up my home in less than 30 minutes. Although I had to wait a week for the install it was well worth it. Kirk, Derrick, and Steve came at 7:30am and did not leave until the work was completed at 10:30pm. This was not typical as they are usually done at around 6:00pm. However the heat was so extreme they needed the extra time. I'm glad I had all of the cold bottled water to help keep them cool!

As I lay here typing this review after dealing with multiple nights at 94 degrees it is 83 degrees. I know this because the ecobee thermostat they installed can be controlled from my smart phone. It is also Amazon Alexa enabled and does not need batteries. I could not have asked for a more professional crew of men who went the extra mile to take care of me.

I will go to North Valley for all of my future HVAC needs.

I couldn't be happier with the service, professionalism, and value I received from Arizona A/C Man when purchasing a new evaporative cooler.

Dave came out on Monday gave me a great price on replacing my decrepit, forty year old evaporative cooler.  Told me he could do it that Wednesday. He was right on time, did a thorough and professional job. Saved me a lot of money compared to other estimates I received. He did everything he said he would do and he even dealt with an existing water issue that wasn't his responsibility and he was a pleasure to have at my home.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dave and Brett from Arizona A/C Man to my friends and family and will have them back anytime I need A/C or Evap service.

I've used a few different HVAC companies in the Phoenix area and AC Doctors are good. I've now used them a few times (at different properties) and the techs are knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are fair. I had a service call with Anthony today and he did a great job. Was pleased enough to sign up for a annual maintainence contract, which I typically don't do. Would recommend

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

Yelp wasn't kidding when it said Freddy replies to inquiries within 20minutes. Within 30minutes of posting an inquiry, he was at my door ready to check out our AC.  Freddy took the time to analyze the problem with our AC unit and got our issue fixed. He answered all of my questions and explained how our system is working.  His pricing is fair and over-all a nice guy. He's now my go to guy for my AC issues.

They were quick to do an estimate for free and got the job done right away.  They explained everything and were helpful.

I had a huge problem and was getting frustrated with getting different answers from different AC companies.  Called and spoke with Kevin and he provided excellent customer service, I would highly recommend this company!

We lost our air conditioning Friday night. Saturday was spent trying to get repair men to show and then actually know what they were doing. Once it became established we need a new unit, Sunday was spent dealing with slick salesmen or no show companies to give us a bid. Fortunately, I found American Cooling! A quick no nonsense call and I had a bid, and an appointment to install on Tuesday morning.
Shawn showed up promptly and began the disconnect work, the boom truck showed up promptly and switched the units out. Shawn finished the job professionally and was just a great guy! We are so impressed with Shawn as an installer and Scott as the owner. We highly recommend this company!

Yep! It's time for Service Maintenance again in order to get ready for the summer by Howard Air technician (Waymond).  He cleaned, inspect to make sure all the components are working properly.  We are very happy to have Waymond doing the maintenance for the three properties.  Yes, we request for him when time to do the maintenance.

If anyone is looking to get a new A/C system, I would recommend to do business with Howard Air, this company is honest, fair, and they are dependable when system is not working.

These guys are top notch. They help me in a very bad situation. Flood, clog.. No water with a 74 year old and a 15 year old. Victor did everything he could and ended up taking what I could afford. They were my hero's that day!! Matthew and Michael came out were professional and compassionate with my situation. I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart. I just had both my knees replaced 6 weeks ago and they really help me out. 8n these times we are living in, scary and divided they really stepped up!! Thank you again!!
