Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

Tracy was very prompt and found some issues during a routine HVAC inspection and tune-up on two of my properties recently. Explained what was wrong. The bills were very reasonable. He is my go-to HVAC man for all my properties now.

From the start, working with Brian (owner) was a joy. He is incredibly knowledgeable and honest, helping us figure out exactly what we needed which included the right size A/C unit, attic insulation and duct work. If I had a question, Brian had no problem hopping on the phone to answer it. After getting numerous bids, it was clear their pricing and service was the best. Once we gave them the green light, we were able to get scheduled right away. The crew was just fantastic - very efficient and thorough. They were very detail oriented and ensured everything was spotless before leaving. I highly recommend Airtime and will always go to them for my HVAC needs from here on out. Call them now!

We have a really old AC unit on our casita. Almost 30 years old. They replaced the motor in our compressor last summer.  This week we turned on our AC for the first time this year and found the AC was not working in the casita. They came out the next day and repaired the AC quickly and did not charge us anything since the issue was with the equipment they installed last year.

The workers are always friendly and honest. I will never use another AC company!

Our AC unit finally went on its last leg after 35+ yrs of serving us in AZ heat. We called at least 5 different places for quotes; had face to face with all who came, and decided to go with Chris W (the owner). He was professional, courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. He worked with us on getting a 3 phase unit installed as requested, unlike others who tried to sell us the 1 phase. His quote was what expected, no surprises after unit was installed. We are happy with the new unit and his professionalism. Highly recommended!

I got an estimate from this company. I asked Abby a few questions over the phone yesterday about some other issues with my garage concerning insulation along with the air conditioning. Abby kept putting me on hold and asking her manager answers to my questions to make sure she gave me the right answers. That is fine with me since she was making sure she gave me correct answers from the manager themselves. But: She told me that the manager said the estimate they had given me originally would include everything we had discussed over the phone yesterday. I asked them to give me an updated estimate sheet that put that verbiage in writing. They sent that over today and they added over $1000 for services on top of that estimate I had yesterday. I called and asked them why they did that and that they didn't honor what the manager said yesterday about the estimate they already gave me being all inclusive. I was told the manager would call me back. The manager never called me back. They sent me some new estimate with a little discount but it was still $1000 over what they said was the estimate that would be all inclusive yesterday. I called them back to again ask why they didn't go or what they/the manager assured me yesterday through Abby. Abby assured me that the manager would call me after they got back from lunch. The manager never called me. I do not recommend this company; they do not stick to what they say including what the manager says. They also don't have enough respect for me as a potential customer to call me back. I had an appointment set with them to have them tuneup another AC in my house and I canceled that with them since I no longer trust and respect them. My neighborhood just joined next-door and we tell each other what companies to hire and what to avoid. I will be telling my neighbors to avoid this company. Hold these people accountable to what they say they; have no problem slapping on over $1000 to anything. And that is a manager's assurance they didn't stick to. Do not trust them. And it's too bad because John, the guy who came out to check the AC situation in my garage, was really nice-- but he's working for a company that doesn't stick to what they tell you. Be careful, avoid them.

Contacted to troubleshoot a recent installation. Came out next day. Charlie was detailed orientated and communicated in layman's terms. Reviewed everything and more while resolving the issue. Would highly recommend.

Price gouging during pandemic and beyond.  Repair in 2021.

After my Phoenix home's water heater had an issue, called Hansen.  Was a 10-minute repair to replace 2 heater elements which were on-hand in the repair truck.  10. Minute. Repair.  Elements were of minimal cost, then they added on over $450 labor charge.  When I questioned them, they said it was the market rate and due to supply chain issues - supply chain has no relation to 'labor'.  

Run and keep running from this business.  The young guy sent for the repair was actually proud to quote that price; which is even more bizarre and scary than than the gouging.

I cannot thank Cody and Desert Diamond enough. Our a/c compressor died in the middle of the night on a record heat day. Cody was at my house within 20 minutes of me calling them in the middle of the night. My compressor was under warranty so we had to wait until morning to get the new one. Cody came that day and had cold air blowing very quickly. I am a customer for life now. Service like what we experienced with them is unheard of these days. Extremely courteous, trustworthy and professional. The price was very fair as well. Thank you again Cody!

Highly recommended for Cooling and Heating services! I just had a complete new system installed and I couldn't be more happier. The process was easy from start to finish. The prices were great along with the service I received. Personable, professional and reasonable.

North Valley Mechanical has been servicing my home and several of my family members for years.  Their service is five star all the way, technicians are knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy.  From simple maintenance visits to complete replacements, I have used them for all of my HVAC needs.  A few years ago, I needed a replacement for a rental property and they came in with the lowest bid and did an incredible job. I highly recommend them. This is also a local, family owned business and their care shows in all they do.

Can't recommend Brett highly enough - agree with all the other reviews. Great service; very knowledgeable, professional, nice/helpful and honest. Will be calling him with my future HVAC needs.

Pablo and Jesus were out today to completely replace a unit. We are in the Suprise area. They were efficient. They kept us informed. They protected our flooring and we're swift to clean up any evidence there was ever a mess. Overall the company and the folks that came out to assist us were wonderful! Thanks so much for your help!

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

A/C went out on a Friday night in early May. Freddy answered his phone at 10:30 and was going to head over to my house to check. Since it appeared to be icing up, we decided to have him come over the next morning instead.

Since I knew my system was cresting 20 years old, I didn't hold out hope for a repair and sure enough I was leaking coolant from many coils. It could not be repaired. And who sets aside thousands of dollars for a new AC system?

Freddy was professional and explained all the options. There was varying degrees of costs and Freddy never pushed any option. He patiently answered questions on each option.

His company offers Wells Fargo financing, so it helps in making a more long term investment rather than an immediate cheap fix. Given this, I opted to go with a 21 seer variable speed system. After researching they should offer the best energy efficiency and lowest monthly electric bills.

Everyone who is in this situation should get multiple estimates. I had 5 people come and give bids after Freddy. He beat all their prices and presented the most knowledge. A few contractors talked about tearing out my ceiling, leaving me with either drywall repairs or more costs to fix it. One even talked about cutting into my roof trusses to get the unit to fit - a potential structural issue as I saw it. None of these things happened with Freddy's install.

Freddy delivered the system on schedule and the install went smoothly and quickly. It was about six hours total. His crew was clean, respectful and quick. They knew what they were doing.

Since this was a variable speed system, it takes some getting used to. My old system was full on with a full blast of cold air and then off. This unit can come on really low and you don't necessarily feel a cold air blast. It's more like a light breeze. This difference highlighted some hot spots in my home, so Freddy came back out a few days later to adjust vents and air flow. All good since.

Other companies also used the power company rebate to make it look like you were paying less. Freddy gave a very competitive bid and I got to keep the rebate to add to the loan, if I wanted.

With any install, Freddy includes maintenance and tuneups in his price for 2 years. You can add more years to keep an expensive purchase in top shape.

This is an up and coming company that wants to do right by their customers.

Phoenix has a thousand AC companies so if you're like me, you don't know who to call or who to trust. What I appreciated most about Freddy was his explanations on things and his low pressure approach. His prices were good, but I'd have spent more if I hadn't gotten a good feeling on his business. You want things done right and if something does go wrong, you want someone who stands behind their work to make it right. That was my feeling on Freddy and why I opted to use him.

Had AC problems and had another company come over to diagnose and the told me the compressor died and it was time to replace my 20 years unit. I decided to ask for a bid through Yelp. John from True North was very prompt with a very competitive quote. He showed up the same day and checked the unit and not only gave me the official estimate but was able to get the old unit working again. I still decided to have a new unit installed with them. John was very professional and honest. They even spent the time showing me the work they did in the attic. He gave me all the information I needed and was not looking to hook me up with more than what I needed. Highly recommend them for your AC needs.

Kevin & Jessica are a great team at Four Seasons! From the first call to being prompt with the appointment to finishing the job right they were friendly & reliable. We had an unique problem with a part in our A/C (so rare that Lennox had not heard of the problem occurring often). Kevin had to go to Lennox multiple times to get the part we needed. He did not charge us for the initial parts until he got the one that fixed our real problem. He & his staff were friendly, knowledgable & dedicated to getting the repair done correctly. We even purchased a service maintenance plan from Four Seasons which we have declined in the past from other A/C companies. I would definitely recommend Four Seasons to my friends & family!

We lost our air conditioning Friday night. Saturday was spent trying to get repair men to show and then actually know what they were doing. Once it became established we need a new unit, Sunday was spent dealing with slick salesmen or no show companies to give us a bid. Fortunately, I found American Cooling! A quick no nonsense call and I had a bid, and an appointment to install on Tuesday morning.
Shawn showed up promptly and began the disconnect work, the boom truck showed up promptly and switched the units out. Shawn finished the job professionally and was just a great guy! We are so impressed with Shawn as an installer and Scott as the owner. We highly recommend this company!

Howard Air is my hero ! Two times they have come out after hours to fix my unit. (The units were not installed by Howard Air). In all my other homes the air conditioners were installed by Howard Air and had no problems with them.The workers are very professional and smart. This company is worth every penny that they charge. They literally saved me when I was going through an illness and was sweating in the middle of August! I can't say enough good about them.

I would never call Goettl again for any air conditioning issues. It took them 7 visits and probably 24 hours total at my home to finally (hopefully) determine what was wrong with our unit. They damaged my attic door, misidentified the issue way too many times, and we ended up without AC in 100 degree weather with an infant and pets in the home.

They kept charging me for visits to fix the issue by mindlessly replacing parts but the AC continued to fail anywhere from 2-12 hours after the visit. I asked for a more experienced technician after the third visit but was denied by the service manager because (understandably) it's hard for techs to pick up where others left off. I took the advice and let the same tech come back 3 total times. He never figured it out.

Today they replaced the motor and the AC still wasn't working but the technician finally identified the issue. It was a bad wire from the unit outside to the thermostat inside. The technician basically abandoned the bad wire and used an existing wire to reconnect to the thermostat. They told me this would normally cost $520 but they weren't going to charge me. They also weren't going to charge me for the $600 motor that didn't need to be replaced (they acted like this was charity). They only left the new motor installed because they couldn't reuse it elsewhere.

I was confused because both prior visits that I paid for were a little over $200 each (paid $444 total) and they were here for literally 4-5+ hours and had to use new parts both of those times. How was todays fix supposed to cost $520 when they used no new material and it took the technician about 30 seconds to correct? He showed me the video so I saw how quickly it was done. The pricing is inconsistent or downright fraudulent. The service manager told me that is solely a labor charge. Again, how does that make sense?

After 7 visits, they finally got the AC going but I'm not confident that it will continue running.

When I asked to be reimbursed for the previous part they replaced (because it wasn't the problem and didn't actually need replacement) the service manager said he is already eating most of the cost and I got a new motor for free. I didn't say I needed a new motor. You guys did.

Thankfully, I pushed back and am going to be refunded about half of what I paid. I have no problem paying for a service, but I refuse to pay for them to guess and replace parts if they don't actually need to be replaced.

The customer service line was great, the technicians were nice, even the service manager was polite. They generally can come out same day. But immediate visits and professionalism don't trump incompetence unfortunately. Stay away from these guys.
