Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

This is long over due since he fixed our AC three weeks ago! We got a quote from Yelp for help when it was slowly getting warm and he came and fixed it that day. Also he was fair priced and on top of that he only fixed what was necessary and didn't pressure us to buy a new AC. He gave his opinion and said we should save for a new AC since it will last maybe another year. I appreciate the honesty and straightforwardness.

They were able to come out same day, had great communication, and were honest with what was needed, no sales pitches and no surprise extras. They wee also the only ones I called who didn't ask If the homeowner would be home. Would absolutely recommend!

For a few years & a few times now, we have trusted and satisfied with M & R Refrigeration. The responses were quick. The services was speedy & efficient. We get our AC fixed & we are happy. Definitely is on my A+ side & to recommend to my network. Kudos

CW Air Conditioning and Heating is a great company!  They delivered everything they said they would!  They were professional and friendly!  The owner Chris was always available to take my calls and cares about his customers!  I highly recommend this company!

My Air Conditioner (AC) stopped working last night and this morning I call this company because of the only review.  They do honor the $15 discount advertised on this site.  I was given a specified time (3-5 p.m.) and was called at 2:48 and was told that the technician will be at my home in 20-30 minutes.  Enrique showed up (within the time the office said he would) and introduced himself and then listen to what I had to say of the situation.  He went to investigate the problem and checked everything.  His analysis was spot on!  We were quoted a fair price for the faulty capacitor and then he promptly replaced the items.  During the repair service, Enrique gave me some advice on how to diagnosis problems in the future and fully explained how the system works!  After he replace the faulty part, Enrique checked the entire system from the unit to the air handler to the air flow in the vents.  Great customer service!  

I would recommend this company to anybody.  In March of this year I had George Brazil come out to assess my AC units and they said they were in great shape, but when they assessed my AC units at my rental home they were able to tell the capacitor was going to break and it did.  George Brazil could tell one capacitor was going bad on one unit but not the other????? Then they try to sell you an annual service program and if something needs repair during that time, you still have to pay for repairs just at a discounted rate (big deal).   I will use this company to asses my HVAC units in the future.

Our AC broke down on Sunday evening. Called 10 companies, no one could help. Arcadia air had us up and running in an hour. Professional, so kind and not sales-y. I am shocked that there are still people that care so much about their customers on a Sunday evening. Appreciated it so much and will recommend to everyone!

I've used Hansen now at least three times. They are great, always show up on time, and do excellent work. Zack came out yesterday to repair a main valve and spent several hours making sure it was done right. He was also just a super nice guy and explained things that he was doing. Really impressed with the quality of work!

I'm hoping to not have to call a plumber again soon, but when I do I'll call Hansen.

My A/C stopped working on a Friday evening--I called my home warranty company who setup a ticket with North Valley Mechanical. This company is amazing! They came to my house and confirmed the A/C unit was working well--no issues! They looked at the thermostat which was very old and replaced that and then on a final check, started seeing issues with the voltage. They checked the electrical panel and said there was a sizzle sound when the breaker was turned on. They were not able to replace the breaker and said they would reach back out to the home warranty company to get an electrician for me. Literally five minutes later, I received an email from Sunbelt Electric and an appointment time. They came by today and fixed the electrical issue and the A/C started right up and cooled my house down from 91 degrees to 80 degrees and I'm the happiest person in Phoenix right now! Thanks for all you've done to help me North Valley Mechanical! You are truly top guns!

Excellent service, extremely competent & honest.  Very rare to find all three in one company. We've been using them for years, highly recommended.

I had some concerns that the HVAC company I'm under contract with (Farnsworth) was being less than honest when they recommended I have $800 worth of things fixed/serviced on my HVAC unit.  I called A/C Doctors for a second opinion as they have a good reputation and good reviews.  They did a thorough checkup of my system and found that only one item was a legitimate repair. They did find a fairly serious problem that needs fixing which my contracted company did not even mention. None of the other things that Farnsworth said needed fixing actually needed fixing.  So much for honesty!  I was very impressed with A/C Doctors and recommend them. They spent an hour (rather than 15-20 minutes--if that-- by the other company) going over the whole system and explaining, in detail, what they found and what needed to be done.

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

Johnny was very professional and on-time. He seems very trustworthy, a trait that is hard to find in technician. He is  very thorough with his work. My issue was my thermostat power source was shutoff from condensate safety switch. The primary line backed up and this us due to another HVAC company botched job two weeks ago. Johnny cleared the line and rebuilt the trap. His price is very reasonable and I highly recommend this company.

Kevin & Jessica are a great team at Four Seasons! From the first call to being prompt with the appointment to finishing the job right they were friendly & reliable. We had an unique problem with a part in our A/C (so rare that Lennox had not heard of the problem occurring often). Kevin had to go to Lennox multiple times to get the part we needed. He did not charge us for the initial parts until he got the one that fixed our real problem. He & his staff were friendly, knowledgable & dedicated to getting the repair done correctly. We even purchased a service maintenance plan from Four Seasons which we have declined in the past from other A/C companies. I would definitely recommend Four Seasons to my friends & family!

These guys did what the said they would do, when they said they would do it, for the price they quoted. Tim cleaned and checked the system, added coolant, showed me the ropes.
He was terrific and invited back for a beer whenever he's in the neighborhood. Thanks, guys!

A 2nd opinion $85 diagnostic and service call from Howard Air saved me from the $1900-$3900 cost projected by another company to replace the compressor or entire unit.  Service was same day, and Joel was courteous and competent.  

Service man from other company left after several hours and $260 saying it would take about 24 hours for this mid sized condo to cool down, but my tenants were questioned his competence before he even left.  Tepid air blew throughout the night cooling the place down slightly, but the unit quit entirely the next day, leaving the  family of 6 with 4 small children sweltering for several days with no AC in late July in AZ.  My prior preferred provider was booked solid for at least 10 days out and Cruz AC whom they recommended as an alternative has never yet returned one of my two
(or 3?)  calls, so I called Howard Air whom I had heard advertised on KTAR and for whom I found a small discount on the service call via Angie's.  

Joel from Howard made it there within a few hours and before he left the unit was blowing COLD air and has worked fine for the months since. The service tech from the prior company had overfilled the unit with refrigerant to the extent pressure couldn't be measured. Howard's Joel bled the pressure and did some exterior cleaning on a coil left unclean and covered in among other things wretched cat hair from the tenants running the AC for at least a couple weeks with no filter.  

I'm giving 5 stars with the disclaimer that this has been my first and only experience with Howard Air, but it's now (3/14/15) been nine months since the service, but thus far the experience has been nothing but blue skies and fresh (cold) - air.  Compliments and thanks to Joel of Howard Air

I finally received a telephone call from Goettl's Operations Manager (Jason).  Jason was professional, very apologetic on the call and he clearly wanted to make things right.  Jason immediately offered to refund the entire amount I paid ($720) and also offered to have one of his other plumbers come back out to fix the toilet at no additional charge. I thanked him for the call, I agreed to receive the full refund but I respectfully declined further work as we have already retained another plumbing company.  Refund check (paper check via regular mail) was received on Friday January 24th.
