Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

Have used them two times now and they are great. Competitive pricing and don't try and up sell. Very honest on what they can fix and what you will need in the future.  Would highly recommend.

So we thought these guys were going to be good. They had a great review on Angie's List, and good reviews on Yelp. The guy came and said we needed a new part and replaced it. We paid, and were grateful we didn't need a new air conditioner. Here we are about 10 days later with no air, and we need to get our units replaced. So basically, we paid them for nothing because they didn't fix the problem. They charged us to replace a part that didn't fix the unit. We have a brand new $300 part on a unit that doesn't work.

***update**** we contacted the owner Brian, and they sent someone out free of charge to do another repair and gave us a GREAT deal since the other issue didn't resolve the problem! We will continue to use them in the future for sure!!!! Great service!!!

Can't say enough about how great Matthew at M&R is. Called him on Memorial Day evening about an issue with my A/C system. After spending time on the phone with me troubleshooting the issue he said he'd have a tech out in 45min. 30min later Matthew himself arrived and took care of the problem for a very fair price. My house will likely need a new HVAC system in the next few years and I can tell you he's earned my future business!

CW is a legit operation.  

It's been 2 years since I've had my ACs serviced and wouldn't you know, the Friday before a record heatwave of 117 was coming our way, one of my AC units decided it would be a good time to quit.

I called a trusted friend of mine to ask what company she uses to service the ACs of her rental properties here in town and she responded right away with a referral to CW.

Mike was dispatched within 30 min (I couldn't believe the response time) and spent time with me to diagnose the problem and explain to me the ins and outs of what he was doing, why, what to expect etc (I always have a lot of questions).  He fixed the failed capacitor in no-time and gave me an affordable bill for the service.

These are my go-to guys now for anything HVAC related.

I had my AC go out around 11pm. We had my daughters birthday party scheduled with a bunch of kids staying the night so I needed someone out quick! I looked on Yelp and seen the reviews so I called around midnight and left a message. I didn't expect a call right back but I did, they set up a time for first thing in the morning. Tech came out and made quick work of troubleshooting the issue. I have worked with AC units before so I pretty much knew what the problem was, but had to work on the other side of town that day. I was nervous to have someone look at it because of horror stories that I have heard AC companies ripping customers off. I couldn't have been more pleased to hear the low cost of the repair and timely matter that it was done! I would highly recommend this company and will be my primary service provider moving forward.

Ask for Eric Lopez and Aaron Scott. They work in a neat Workman like manner. They are courteous. Explained what why and how they would accomplish the work order. Everything was installed neatly and excess and old were removed. This is a great importance to me after myself being in the field for 40 years. Retired now. I have first hand knowledge of other companies in my pass that left a mess including old removed duct work in the attics and a mess outside the residence or commercial lot These men do quality work and I hope AC Doctors will reward them for jobs well.

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

We returned from an out of town trip to find that one of our air conditioning units wasn't working. It was a great experience working with Freddy's; they were very responsive, communicated well, and fixed the issue.

True North installed a new AC unit for us. They first provided a competitive quote with helpful suggestions and a detailed breakdown of the work. After accepting the quote, they scheduled the install for 2 weeks later. They arrived on time and completed the project within the estimated time (8-10 hours). There was some minor scuffs on the attic access trim due to the tight access, but otherwise cleaned up well. I am very happy with the overall results. They even rerouted one of our ducts for us to get better airflow in a bedroom that was previously not getting much.

Micah and Jamie showed up for the install and worked quickly, thoroughly, and very professionally. We have 3 dogs that can be obnoxious at times and they were both very accommodating to my needs around the dogs. We even shared dog photos and personal stories. I tried to stay out of their way and they did a fantastic job reducing interference while I continued to work from home. Both Micah and Jamie answered my questions and made sure I was informed during the entire install. 5 star employees all the way!

I would absolutely recommend True North for any AC needs!

I had to have my air conditioning units serviced before moving. Four seasons home services provided great customer service both over the phone and in person. I felt taken care of from the moment I received a call back to schedule my appointment. The two technicians; Carlos & Romario were vey patient in finding my residence (Not an easy address to find), they remained curteous and respectful in walking through the house with their equipment and communicated with me as they were completing the job. They both completed an honest job and worked diligently to complete the service and cleaning of my AC units. I would recommend these technicians and the company to anyone who needs to have a service completed efficiently and timely!

Sunday evening 7/09 we noticed our house temperature was getting warmer and our AC was blowing hot air.  Going outside to the compressor unit the fan was not rotating and with my limited knowledge of HVAC I knew that was not good.  Called our normal AC service - no answer.  Started going down the list in Google for 24 hr. emergency AC service.  Got 3 companies but all were totally booked through the night until Monday morning.  On the 4th try I got American Heating and Cooling. Scot said he could have someone out in an hour and the repairman was onsite in about 30 minutes.  In short we had several problems of bad capacitors, possible bad fuses, and a safety condensate drain switch that was malfunctioning.  They thoroughly checked everything and as of this writing Tuesday the AC unit is working great.  In writing this recommendation I checked the other 5 star comments on Yelp and can agree the service and support were stellar.  Scot even called back to ensure we were satisfied, etc.  Got to give this company a 5 star rating!  They now have all 19 - 5 star Yelp reviews   JGH

I would like to start out and say Ted was one heck of a sales man but as soon as i signed a contract it went down hill from there He told me he would be there on the install day to make sure everything went well and he was not. I looked passed this and just wanted my new ac unit which i found out later i over paid for by allot installed and working like we agreed. I even paid for a extra duct to be installed in my office where i work everyday to make sure it stayed cool it took Howard air a total of 4 times of coming out before they installed the new vent that should've been installed when they put my new AC unit on but every tech had there own opinion of why i didn't need it or they were lazy and didn't wanna install it. So after the new vent was installed it was installed right next to my downstair vent and now the downstairs is not cooling properly they thought it was the thermostat and replaced that and then installed a deflector which helped a little but still isn't right. About one month after my unit was installed when it starts up it makes a loud clunk so loud my dogs bark this is a 10k dual stage unit i shouldn't be having issues on a month after its installed. They damaged my brand new hardwood floors which they did pay to fix.Howard air did offer a free air purifier and new vents to try to help with the air flow in the house which was very nice of them but working with them became a full time job even my neighbors said to me well i know what  Ac company i won't be going with just by seeing there service vehicles at my house once a week. If i didn't work from home i don't know how anyone could have worked with howard air I decided to get my new unit before summer hit and it pretty much took them all summer to get things some what straightened out but still I'm not happy and would never recommend them to anyone after the experience i had I was overcharged for the unit and the quality of service and frequency of service calls i had to schedule.

I bought a new unit from Goettl back in 2012. In the summer of 2013 I had issue with the unit - Called for repairs. The tech came out, couldn't find the issue but suspected there was s small leak somewhere in the line. He filled the unit back up with Freon and finished. It worked fine - until July 2014. The line leading to the compressor froze. I called for service, angry and feeling duped having paid over $9,000 for the unit and work in 2012.

The technician, Aaron came out the next day. When I described what was happening, he suspected a leak in the line leading to the compressor. He was able to locate it quickly - a bad weld in the joint of the line. He demonstrated the find and worked quickly to repair it. He apologized that we had so many problems but assured me we purchased a quality product and the company would stand behind it. He waived the service fees and left.

I have to say - I was really angry when this happened however, the customer service impressed me. I am feeling better about the unit and about the company behind it.
