There is no other HVAC guy I'm calling than Tracy with J & M Mechanical. He's responsive and great at what he does!

After I called Chandler Air and George Brazil it was by far the best choice. I knew I had a huge problem with my Air conditioner.
But never go with the first guy it was sketchy when Chandler Air said I had a leak without  diagnosing  the problem and pretending to add Freon for Free then called his boss to give me a price for a new unit.
Unable to accommodate the correct size for my home and not give me proper information.
I called George Brazil  yes the sales person was terrific but all the add-ons and up grades were the highest over 10,000.00
No way could  I afford this company.
Air time was my last choose and got my business.
The price was just over 6,000 and I got the better unit and rebates as well. It was on there website.
The job was done on time in within my budget.
A few problems that they had to deal with  to install the new ac like a brick wall around my ac unit that needed moved.  They took care of this and a trim around the opening  of the ceiling to get up in the roof. Never a complaint or an extra charge.
They even balanced our the air flow in the south west of my home.
I'm 100 percent happy.
My home is more efficient than it was before.
It does make a difference. Because Air Time knows how to give great customer service.

Called Sunday afternoon with an A/C issue and Matthew had the unit up and running before the end of the day, just as he had promised.

CW is a legit operation.  

It's been 2 years since I've had my ACs serviced and wouldn't you know, the Friday before a record heatwave of 117 was coming our way, one of my AC units decided it would be a good time to quit.

I called a trusted friend of mine to ask what company she uses to service the ACs of her rental properties here in town and she responded right away with a referral to CW.

Mike was dispatched within 30 min (I couldn't believe the response time) and spent time with me to diagnose the problem and explain to me the ins and outs of what he was doing, why, what to expect etc (I always have a lot of questions).  He fixed the failed capacitor in no-time and gave me an affordable bill for the service.

These are my go-to guys now for anything HVAC related.

Our zone damper motors/actuators began to malfunction. Chase diagnosed the problem and replaced the affected units the following day. He was very polite and professional at all times. I plan to use A Quality HVAC for all future issues.

Our AC wouldn't turn on and Manny came out to take a look at our unit. He arrived promptly on the early side of hr 2 hour window they gave us. Called ahead before he arrived. Very friendly. First thing he did was ask if the batteries had been changed in our thermostat. Oops! A quick change of batteries fixed the problem and our AC turned on right away. He was very kind not to charge us for coming out. He did recommend we get our AC looked at (we've been neglecting it since 2018 when we moved in) but he was not pushy about it at all. I really appreciate when a business waives fees as a courtesy when something like this happens. We'll be reaching out to Arcadia Air and asking for Manny when we do need service!

my water furnace wasn't heating and i reached out to Hansen Family Plumbing for help.  They contacted me quickly and helped me do some quick self-checks so i was able to figure out what was going on and fix it.  So nice to have a company provide the personal touch like this.

Highly recommended for Cooling and Heating services! I just had a complete new system installed and I couldn't be more happier. The process was easy from start to finish. The prices were great along with the service I received. Personable, professional and reasonable.

Timing couldn't have been worse - 110 degrees and the HVAC units did not function. Our home warranty company was worthless. They sent out a tech who did not know air conditioning. We made an emergency call to North Valley Mechanical. Jared was able to get to our condo quickly, diagnose the problems and completed the repairs. This was all completed before home warranty even managed to schedule anyone. A++ for excellent technical skills, prompt service and easy to work with. Thank you!

I can't recommend Brett highly enough. I found his pricing to be fair and the customer service is top notch. Brett truly went above and beyond my expectations!!!

Basic service. Followed through and AC works but not any options on the unit, system, ducts,  nor was it even discussed. If you are not looking to upgrade, or are downgrading to the basics, this is it.  Nice enough team, didn't talk much. Cleaned up ok. I see why they do a lot of rentals.

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

A/C went out in the middle of the and had to scramble to find someone to come out that evening. After getting stood up by another company I called up Freddy and he was out at the house at 9:30pm to get it done for us. Got the needed part first thing in the morning and had us back up and running in no time. Freddy made it easy to communicate via text and he was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Honest work and great pricing.  The technician did a great job and was very thorough.  Explained everything in detail.  Took the time to explain every minor detail and at the end of the day earned a lifelong customer.  Britni was a pleasure to deal with for scheduling and pricing and Chris was the amazing technician that came out. Dont waste your time with other companies, go straight to this one!!!!

Having been in AZ for 7 years and have been burned by multiple HVAC companies until I found Scot and American Cooling and Heating.  They replaced 2 units on our home and saved us nearly $10K.  The also cover our businesses and are awesome.  Everybody should work with them!

I had a service contract with Parker and Sons and when they came out to do my biannual check up they told me I needed $3000 in repairs. I called Howard Air. Kent came out and said it needed NOTHING and charged me NOTHING!

I'm canceling my contract with P&S and signing up with Howard Air!

Who knows how many of the positive ratings are real vs fake. But the negative ones are certainly real. I couldn't believe how many similarities the negative reviews had with my experience. I believe their 4star+ rating on Google is weighted with a ton of fake positives... But make sure to check out their poor reviews before you hire these guys.

Their commercials sound great, but I strongly suggest you read my review. Bottom line, they are expensive, not just a little expensive, 5x more than other licensed/bonded HVAC companies are. They also, are unresponsive, do not show up, and they are worse than a used car salesman when it comes to pushing.

Below is a summary of my dealings with Goettl:

Signed up over the phone for the $15/mo Protection plan

Scheduled a Rejuvenation, Goettl was a no-call no-show twice, on the third time they arrived... But it gets worse. The first time I called to ask where they were, the rep told me that I wasn't in their system. I called again later to schedule for a 2nd time... I told the rep what happened and she told me that they tried calling me to tell me(so which rep's story is true???). 2nd appointment, they didn't show up, I HAD TO CALL THEM to ask why they were late? At that point they told me,  conveniently for them, that the guy who was scheduled for my house called in sick.

3rd.attempt they finally showed up. They recommended that I pay $300 for a capacitor replacement. That's a $20 part and the guy spent 15 minutes installing it, but I did it anyways because I appreciated the quality of their commercials and the work they claim to do.

2months later my A/C fails, it's hot, Goettl comes over, diagnoses a leaky blower motor that dripped oil onto the circuit board. At this point the guy tells me that I was informed about the leaky blower motor during their rejuvenation visit and I declined to fix. A bold-faced lie... No man in his right mind wouldn't fix a a/c component LEAKING OIL going into an AZ summer. When I told the Goettl guy this didn't sound right, he then asked me , well, would you have wanted to pay $1400 to replace the motor? Infer what you want about what he meant by that question, I took it as a subtle attitude/slight.

OVERALL: They quoted me $3400 to replace the blower motor and circuit board, AND THAT IT WOULD TAKE MULTIPLE DAYS just to obtain the parts, on my avg, 2000sqft, single unit, track home. THEY DID NOT SPEND MUCH TIME ON THAT THOUGH, they very quickly moved on from the repair quote to trying to sell me a $11000 system replacement.

Oh and guess what else? Of course, if I bought their $11k replacement, the salesman (er.. i i mean qualified technician GUARANTEED me that it would be installed next-day.) Goettl, is very clearly, exploiting desperate situations for absurd profit.

Google search what an average a/c replacement costs in Phoenix and you'll see why I got a 2nd opinion.

I called a local licensed/bondedcbonded with 250+ reviews, a 4.8 rating, been in business for decades, and are endorsed by several prominent AZ endorsing entities.

When the company arrived I told them they were here for a 2nd opinion, I did not discuss what Goettl had diagnosed or quoted. Guess what happened?? They diagnosed the EXACT SAME PROBLEM as Goettle. They had the repairs done in 36 hours (remember Goettl told me multiple days). Want to know the price? And yes, the parts are new and work warrantied the same as Goettle..... Drumroll please.....:

I paid this company, for the exact same work, OUT THE DOOR $690. LITERALLY 20% of what Goettl was trying to scam me for.

Also- VERY IMPORTANT - I asked the local guys of they recommended a replacement, they did not.

Shortly after I explained.to Goettl in an email what happened, and asked for an explanation for the difference in price, I was truly confused and thinking that perhaps I was overlooking something??? Of course, no reply.

I called to cancel my Protection plan, of course that's a whole other department, they told me on Friday that they would call me on Sunday. I have no messages on my phone. Today is Monday evening.
