Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

We are selling our house and needed to fix a couple things with our HVAC unit. I contacted J&M Sunday night through Yelp and they scheduled me right away and were out first thing Monday morning. They checked out the things listed in our inspection report and addressed what needed to actually be fixed. Didn't pressure us into anything extra. Simple and affordable and fast couldn't ask for anything better!

Thanks to all the fellow Yelpers out there we called this company when our AC stopped working Tuesday afternoon. Thursday Sean came out and diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it, (a capacitor). He was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick, and he didn't try to sell us more than we needed. In fact he told us our 10 year old system was in good shape!
Very professional company, and when needed we will use them again!

M&R is my go to HVAC company. They are very knowledgeable, they inform you along the way and on top of it all fairly priced!  Shout out to Oscar who came out to address an issue I was having he's a great guy and very thorough!

CW is a legit operation.  

It's been 2 years since I've had my ACs serviced and wouldn't you know, the Friday before a record heatwave of 117 was coming our way, one of my AC units decided it would be a good time to quit.

I called a trusted friend of mine to ask what company she uses to service the ACs of her rental properties here in town and she responded right away with a referral to CW.

Mike was dispatched within 30 min (I couldn't believe the response time) and spent time with me to diagnose the problem and explain to me the ins and outs of what he was doing, why, what to expect etc (I always have a lot of questions).  He fixed the failed capacitor in no-time and gave me an affordable bill for the service.

These are my go-to guys now for anything HVAC related.

My Air Conditioner (AC) stopped working last night and this morning I call this company because of the only review.  They do honor the $15 discount advertised on this site.  I was given a specified time (3-5 p.m.) and was called at 2:48 and was told that the technician will be at my home in 20-30 minutes.  Enrique showed up (within the time the office said he would) and introduced himself and then listen to what I had to say of the situation.  He went to investigate the problem and checked everything.  His analysis was spot on!  We were quoted a fair price for the faulty capacitor and then he promptly replaced the items.  During the repair service, Enrique gave me some advice on how to diagnosis problems in the future and fully explained how the system works!  After he replace the faulty part, Enrique checked the entire system from the unit to the air handler to the air flow in the vents.  Great customer service!  

I would recommend this company to anybody.  In March of this year I had George Brazil come out to assess my AC units and they said they were in great shape, but when they assessed my AC units at my rental home they were able to tell the capacitor was going to break and it did.  George Brazil could tell one capacitor was going bad on one unit but not the other????? Then they try to sell you an annual service program and if something needs repair during that time, you still have to pay for repairs just at a discounted rate (big deal).   I will use this company to asses my HVAC units in the future.

They were able to schedule an appointment within 24 hours to repair a toilet.  I mentioned that my water pressure had recently increased.   The technician checked and found that my prv was broken and was able to replace this for me before anything was damaged.  I am very grateful for their exceptional customer service and prompt repairs.   Highly recommend.

No stars here! Tenant called them when A/C failed. They came promptly, presented estimate for $1,200 and high pressure tactic that parts department was closing early. We declined and paid $70 for diagnostic. Another firm fixed the unit for $375. Only 1 part needed, not 2 & motor as claimed by D.D. Unit still running perfectly 1 month later. Avoid this firm.

Highly recommended for Cooling and Heating services! I just had a complete new system installed and I couldn't be more happier. The process was easy from start to finish. The prices were great along with the service I received. Personable, professional and reasonable.

The owner Kirk is awesome!!  Very attentive and is available to make things right!!  Came over to help me with my filter and program my AC System, would highly recommend him!!

We had a problem with our AC not cooling below 80 during the summer. The AC company who installed the unit kept telling us our system is working great and it must be something else not related to the AC. So we thought to get a second opinion from AC Doctor. When calling to make the appointment, the receptionist was nice and had wonderful customer service skills. My appointment was made early that same week. The tech, Eric, called ahead to let us know he is on his way. The office also sends you a text with a pic of the tech. Eric was very professional and willing to explain what he is doing and why. I told him what the problem was and he knew right then what to look for. He found the problem quickly and even checked everything else to make sure it was good. The original installer put the orifice/piston in wrong and they were even taking the measurements wrong. The price for the job was amazing and fair. So thank you AC Doctor for the help. Thank you Mr. Eric for going the extra mile too!

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

Between answering my initial email at 1030PM to being available on a Sunday to work on my ac system , I can safely say I am highly impressed. Professional, friendly, safety conscious and fairly priced. I would recommend his repair services to anyone who wants to be treated fairly and provided with professional and personable service.

I had a huge problem and was getting frustrated with getting different answers from different AC companies.  Called and spoke with Kevin and he provided excellent customer service, I would highly recommend this company!

We lost our air conditioning Friday night. Saturday was spent trying to get repair men to show and then actually know what they were doing. Once it became established we need a new unit, Sunday was spent dealing with slick salesmen or no show companies to give us a bid. Fortunately, I found American Cooling! A quick no nonsense call and I had a bid, and an appointment to install on Tuesday morning.
Shawn showed up promptly and began the disconnect work, the boom truck showed up promptly and switched the units out. Shawn finished the job professionally and was just a great guy! We are so impressed with Shawn as an installer and Scott as the owner. We highly recommend this company!

I will start by saying that the service from Howard Air was great.  I was able to get them to come out same day on a Sunday when my A/C broke down.  They did, however charge $142 for the trip charge.  My issue with the company is on their pricing.  It was found that the run capacitor needed to be replaced.  The part online costs under $20 and Howard air charges $218.  This price does include installation which takes less than 5 minutes.  Last time I had this part replaced it cost me close to $200 including the part and trip charge.  With Howard Air I paid $360 for the exact same service.
If you are in a pinch and need service immediately, by all means use Howard Air.  If you are able to shop around though, you will find that they are very expensive compared to other service companies.

Emergency water line fix. Quade and Micheal came out fixed it quick with a smile.
