Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

This is long over due since he fixed our AC three weeks ago! We got a quote from Yelp for help when it was slowly getting warm and he came and fixed it that day. Also he was fair priced and on top of that he only fixed what was necessary and didn't pressure us to buy a new AC. He gave his opinion and said we should save for a new AC since it will last maybe another year. I appreciate the honesty and straightforwardness.

Brian and his team where amazing. We had two units replace and they were very courteous and understanding of my schedule and worked around my time. Brian is very knowledgeable about his craft and the options available. One thing he did NOT do was try to up-sell us on something we didn't need. I have been recommending him and his team to all my friends who need heating or cooling work.

I cannot say enough good things about Matthew at  M & R refrigeration! They are a small family owned business. We called his company at 8 o'clock on a Sunday night because our AC failed when it was over 100 degrees. He came out in 20 minutes and recharged our AC and then came back and replaced the coil that was faulty within three days. I had my AC go out around 11pm. We had my daughters birthday party scheduled with a bunch of kids staying the night so I needed someone out quick! I looked on Yelp and seen the reviews so I called around midnight and left a message. I didn't expect a call right back but I did, they set up a time for first thing in the morning. Tech came out and made quick work of troubleshooting the issue. I have worked with AC units before so I pretty much knew what the problem was, but had to work on the other side of town that day. I was nervous to have someone look at it because of horror stories that I have heard AC companies ripping customers off. I couldn't have been more pleased to hear the low cost of the repair and timely matter that it was done! I would highly recommend this company and will be my primary service provider moving forward.

Jimmy and the crew are great professionals and always try to do the right thing highly recommended I've refers numerous friends to them and they have always taken care of them with urgency integrity and professionalism can't say enough about them give them a call

I found Hansen's Plumbing service via yelp and I'm so glad I did! The owner answered the phone and had a guy out a few hours later. I had multiple plumbing issues and Edward was able to fix everything beyond expectations. I was assuming the worse seeing water leaks and not having water running to the fridge in my kitchen and the problems were fixed very simply. I will definitely use them again in case of a plumbing emergency.

What a difference it makes in terms of improving the cooling in the house.
The master bedroom was previously always so warm and about 4 degrees warmer than the rest of the house and now it actually cools to the desired temperature the thermostat is set at!!!

Highly recommended for Cooling and Heating services! I just had a complete new system installed and I couldn't be more happier. The process was easy from start to finish. The prices were great along with the service I received. Personable, professional and reasonable.

Our A/C unit went out at 8:00PM. I got the number for North Valley Mechanical and called NVM immediately. Kirk took my call and said they would contact us the next day.  Kyle at NVM called us the next day in the AM. Dave, the Tech, was at our house at 1:30 PM and completed the repair by 2:30PM. I consider that to be a great professional response and customer service. NVM is now our HVAC service company going forward.

When they say they warranty their work, they really do! We needed a slight change to the original work (not an error, just some tweaking), and Dave came straight out to help. He found out that we were low on Freon, and that there was a leak from when the original builders installed our unit. He hooked us up with what we needed for a great price. AND fixed our leak for free!! Always such a relief to find great companies to work with. :)

My 18-year-old AC system finally gave up the ghost in the middle of July, and I was dreading having to replace it. Shelling out thousands of dollars to a company you've never had to do business with before is always scary, especially in the AC business, where you expect to be gouged in the summer. I did my research and got estimates from several different companies, and finally ended up settling on AC Doctors. I'm so glad I did! They were prompt and helpful, and ended up giving me a much more competitive estimate than the other outfits I got quotes from.

Once I decided on AC Doctors, they wasted no time - the unit was installed the next morning. The install was very professional and the unit is doing exactly what it should. Additionally, I had a few questions days after the install, and they've been tremendously friendly, responsive, and helpful after the fact - very appreciated, given that they already have my money!

My second AC unit is likely going to need replacement in the next couple of years, and I won't hesitate to call AC Doctors to do. Super happy to have found an outfit of their quality!

Do not recommend. At the time we thought it was great but now we're having the same issues with my ac again, come to the roof to check things out and this is how he left my ac unit. He left all the wires exposed and didn't tuck anything back away and now my ac has shorted again because he never tucked everything away from the weather. Now I'm out an ac unit again because he didn't know how to finish his job correctly.
$600 later and I still have a broken unit.

They were quick to do an estimate for free and got the job done right away.  They explained everything and were helpful.

Recently found this company Four Seasons Home Services though Groupon to tune up and inspect my home A.C. unit.  It was starting to give me a problem.  Four Seasons sent two of their workers Chris and Carlos come out to my home. They did a great job, super honest and hard working guys. My A.C. needed a new motor and I ended up getting a one year service with Four Seasons cause they did good work. I trust that they will do good job in future for me. I super happy with their service and recommend this company to my friends and family giving to give them a chance to prove their work for you.

Three years ago our AC wasn't cooling like it should and we called American Cooling and Heating. They responded very quickly and determined that there was a refrigerant leak in the system. However, they could not determine where the leak was so the used stop leak and recharged the system.
A year later, again the system wasn't cooling as it should. They came out again and found that the system was low on refrigerant, so they added another can of stop leak and topped the system off.
This year I had a check up done on the AC by another company and they found the system was again low on refrigerant, thus the leak was never sealed. I called American Cooling and Heating in the hopes they would honor their 3 year warranty. Scott said he would, and that they should have never used stop leak. He said he would send one of his top techs out the next day.
The next day Joe, Scott's son, came out and over a four hour period did what should have been done from the start. We located where we thought the leak was. He proceeded to reseal the system in two areas and then verified that the system was leak free by ensuring it held hard vacuum.  He then recharged the system with refrigerant and we verified the system was cooling.  What a difference. In the end, there was no additional charge and Joe extended the warranty another 3 years.
Thank you Joe and Scott for honoring your word and doing the right thing.  I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it took 3 tries to get the repair done correctly.

Howard Air is my hero ! Two times they have come out after hours to fix my unit. (The units were not installed by Howard Air). In all my other homes the air conditioners were installed by Howard Air and had no problems with them.The workers are very professional and smart. This company is worth every penny that they charge. They literally saved me when I was going through an illness and was sweating in the middle of August! I can't say enough good about them.

They came.  They looked at our job.  They said they would look for parts.  They did nothing.  No call.  We got another contractor to do the job at half the price Goettl quoted us.  Beautiful work.  Avoid Goettl.  They are a money pit.
