Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

We are selling our house and needed to fix a couple things with our HVAC unit. I contacted J&M Sunday night through Yelp and they scheduled me right away and were out first thing Monday morning. They checked out the things listed in our inspection report and addressed what needed to actually be fixed. Didn't pressure us into anything extra. Simple and affordable and fast couldn't ask for anything better!

This is the second time I have dealt with Airtime Cooling. The first was a year ago when I needed a repair. The Technician remembered my home and the repair he completed. He was professional and efficient with my Spring check up. I couldn't be more happy with the service that Airtime provides.

We had trouble with our air conditioner and Matthew was here within an hour.  He was very helpful and was able to resolve the problem quickly.  Thanks for the great service!

Our AC unit finally went on its last leg after 35+ yrs of serving us in AZ heat. We called at least 5 different places for quotes; had face to face with all who came, and decided to go with Chris W (the owner). He was professional, courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. He worked with us on getting a 3 phase unit installed as requested, unlike others who tried to sell us the 1 phase. His quote was what expected, no surprises after unit was installed. We are happy with the new unit and his professionalism. Highly recommended!

Loved John Carey. My heater was blowing cold air. I knew it would be bad as the unit is 15 years old. I'm in a terrible position.  Just widowed and laid off off work. He fixed it due to my circumstances from the owner for no charge. Made me cry even more. They are angels. Im truly blessed. I  will see if the city has a program.  If they do I'm recommending  this company to do the job! I will be forever grateful!!

Jimmy the owner got a hold of me right away after I submitted a request for a new A/c unit. Every step of the way he was professional and super helpful. They came out and did an amazing removal of old unit and instal of new unit in a short time. I rarely review anything but these guys are the real deal! I highly recommend them!

I ordered my new AC unit through Steve at Desert Diamond Mechanical, which has been on back order for about a month. My current AC stopped working, the company sent someone right away to fix the issue and they didn't charge me anything. They took care of me, when they had no obligation to. This is a great, stand up company. I highly recommend them!

So just had my pre summer cleaning and service.   Bought 3 AC units over the years.  NVM is reliable, sells high quality products, and delivers expert services.  This unit is 4 years old and running in tip top shape!   Will not do business with anyone else!

After dealing with some 'difficult' HVAC companies, Arizona A/C Man has been nothing but awesome to deal with. Brett is super professional and friendly. A pleasure to deal with. He checked out our (failing) AC motor and eventually replaced it under warranty in very short order for a very reasonable price on the labor. No doubt that I will call upon them again in the future.

Eduardo promptly arrived after telephoning.  He was very considerate and cordial.  He went ​imediately to work; identified the issue; outlined our options and fixed the problem.  He was very knowledgeable and extremely efficient.  We were completely satisfied.  Thank you AC Doctors!

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

Our ac broke down and i was going through yelp regarding about hvac repair and i saw this business and read all the review. So i gave him a call within 30 mins he showed did a diagnosis of our hvac unit  he was very knowledgeable and humble owner he knows how to treat the customer right and fair within 1 hour he got our ac fix and running and this was at 11pm he was still full of energy. I would recommend him to whoever is looking their ac getting fix or diagnose. Trust me he will get it done and leave you some tips how to take care of the unit. I was impressed by thier business as first time customer. No regrets at all

I had a great experience with True North.  The team was very professional and personable. Prompt service, great prices. We worked with Johnny, who was very helpful, for the initial service/quote.   Mike, Micah, and Jaime did a great job with the installation of the new AC unit.  We are happy so far and looking forward to having a more efficient AC unit this summer.  Very easy, quick process and excellent service from the whole team.

Carlos and his partner came out on short notice after when we turned our unit on for the first time this season, only to find no cooling.  The techs were friendly, efficient, and best of all successful! We have cool air.

I had a fantastic experience with American Cooling and Heating. I called on a Sunday afternoon in July and a technician (Al) was at my door in less than an hour. Al quickly diagnosed the problem with my air conditioner. I was pleasantly surprised when he told me that he had the part on his truck. Al fixed the problem in less than an hour and I was back to having a cool house!  The next day a manager (Scott) called me to let me know that he had talked to my home warranty company and was able to get everything paid for by the home warranty company. I can whole heartedly recommend American Cooling and Heating. They are fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Al and Scott are assets to the company. Thank you for making a bad experience (no air conditioning in Arizona in July) a great experience.

**Update: almost 3 weeks later:  I had a separate, unrelated issue with my air conditioner today.  I was so happy when my home warranty company, once again, said I could contact American Cooling and Heating to fix the problem. Scott answered the phone immediately and took the report. He dispatched Al again, who was out within the hour and fixed the problem with friendly, fast service. The repair cost was reasonable and once again, I don't have to worry about my air conditioner. Love this company and Al and Scott!!

Howard Air was so surprising and unexpected I had to write this review. I had another company come do a pre summer inspection on my working air conditioner. At the end of inspection the technician told me the unit was old ( which I agree ) but there were  a few things I could do to make it run better. He gave me four options ranging from 300.00 and up. ( almost like a buying a car, so much fun) because I have had no problem with it I took the cheapest route a fan voltage regulator. They installed collected $298.00 and left for Memorial weekend. From the time they left it didn't work right no air being pushed. I called them back they sent someone over he left, still not working. I call back they sent a different technician I explained to him that it was working fine before they installed part maybe should check. He came down told me nothing was wrong with their work the conditioner needed to be replaced. ( funny right ). So I decided second opinion was needed I looked up on Yelp read reviews decided on Howard's. Gave them a call the very nice receptionist ( sorry if your more, no disrespect) said they would send someone at NO cost to check it out. A man with a very big smile named Julio came out with another technician forgot his name ( shame on me) went up on the roof 1/2 hr later it was fixed. The first company wired it backwards so no pushing air just sucking, guess what I don't need a new one yet! Waited for bill and there wasn't one. They sent me pictures to help me get my money back from the company who's motto is honesty-integrity-reliability really now.
So please,support this fine company they went way beyond what would be considered good business. When I need a new air conditioner which I know is coming they are my first and only call.

Geottle was was at a higher price but worth it. My neighbor had a good experience with them. They had a supervisor and 2 helpers. Did an incredible job in extremely tight places in the attic in knee deep insulation. They hung the unit in the attic to keep it up out of the insulation all for the same price. I don't know how they were able to remove the old unit from the attic without cutting the entrance in the closet ceiling larger. They said the disassembled it and brought it out piece by piece. I had them replace all the duct runners in the attic a big chore but they finished the whole thing in one long day. The crew cleaned up completely and wore booties on their shoes. When they left it was like they were never there. They had a specialty company show up a day later to repair the trim around the entrance to the attic. The sales experience was good and he crawled into the attic to be sure everything would be covered in the sales proposal.....GT...AZ
