Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

This is long over due since he fixed our AC three weeks ago! We got a quote from Yelp for help when it was slowly getting warm and he came and fixed it that day. Also he was fair priced and on top of that he only fixed what was necessary and didn't pressure us to buy a new AC. He gave his opinion and said we should save for a new AC since it will last maybe another year. I appreciate the honesty and straightforwardness.

Grant came to fix my AC condenser drain and was very helpful trying to get my NEST thermostat to work.  I'll recommend airtime for future AC needs.

Aaron showed up on Friday night, troubleshooting why the furnace kept shutting off for limit switch. Couldn't figure it out that night, made it a point to come back and get the job done. He figured it out Saturday morning and had the furnace back and running again.

M & R was my 2nd opinion. I'm glad I did that, because the other big name in town came in Thursday night, and told me the flue was clogged causing the stoppage. M&R told me they had the tools to clean the flue but wanted to re-diagnose just in case. 5-10 minutes in, Aaron told me the flue was clear, and he would continue troubleshooting.

Our AC unit finally went on its last leg after 35+ yrs of serving us in AZ heat. We called at least 5 different places for quotes; had face to face with all who came, and decided to go with Chris W (the owner). He was professional, courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. He worked with us on getting a 3 phase unit installed as requested, unlike others who tried to sell us the 1 phase. His quote was what expected, no surprises after unit was installed. We are happy with the new unit and his professionalism. Highly recommended!

Mitch and Cary were on time, courteous and professional. We had them service our unit and fix a thermostat that we installed incorrectly. They were completely receptive to our new social distancing rules. Overall it was a great experience!

Arcadia provided great service on a same day service call- it was even Father's Day. The problem was quickly diagnosed and service was completed at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend and will be using again for all my HVAC needs.

When I bought my house, I was told I would have to look forward to some major plumbing issues, which could come with a hefty price tag. I was quoted from another source a very high number, but am I glad I was referred to Hansen's Plumbing Service. They came in, scoped everything out, and gave me an honest idea of what I was looking at. They charged me less than some of the others, and didn't need to tear up my whole front yard like some of the others were suggesting. A year and a half later, no plumbing problems whatsoever. I highly recommend their services - they are honest, fair, experienced and skilled, something you don't find much these days from others in this line of work.

I purchased a new home last year and wanted to have a maintenance contract in place for my heating and cooling system.  The previous contractor I worked with was unsatisfactory.  A good friend recommended Desert Diamond Heating & Air, so I scheduled an appointment with them to do my winter tune-up.  Cody, the Service Tech, was completely professional and so easy to talk with.  He explained my options in plain english, and made recommendations to improve my energy efficiency.  Within half an hour he had my system running at top notch, and I signed a maintenance contract with them.  This establishment is a class act and I look forward to working with them for many years to come!

I had a few bids to replace the AC on my rental property and Brett came in way below everyone else. He reused the things he could to keep the cost down. He was easy to schedule with and super easy to deal with. Very friendly and answered all my questions. Highly recommend :)

These guys are a joke. Highly un recommended . The tech couldn't even use a sawzall properly (which they left the wood behind if you want pictures of the very uneven cuts ) and asked to borrow tools . I can provide pictures of the half a job done which includes not even caulking all air gaps after install, I had assist to install previous trim and the hours they charged for involved leveling the unit ! Which even involved a trip to Home Depot to get shims to level the unit , which is far from level if you want pics of that . So to install one window unit for over $1k . Yea ! A joke ! If they try to send you anyone!  Say no thanks !

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

Our ac broke down and i was going through yelp regarding about hvac repair and i saw this business and read all the review. So i gave him a call within 30 mins he showed did a diagnosis of our hvac unit  he was very knowledgeable and humble owner he knows how to treat the customer right and fair within 1 hour he got our ac fix and running and this was at 11pm he was still full of energy. I would recommend him to whoever is looking their ac getting fix or diagnose. Trust me he will get it done and leave you some tips how to take care of the unit. I was impressed by thier business as first time customer. No regrets at all

We had our Air Conditioner replaced yesterday.  After getting estimates we chose Four Seasons Home Services.  Jorge / George and his team did a great job!  They were here on time.  He gave us updates every few hours!  They were friendly, efficient, professional and extremely knowledgeable!  They wore masks in our home.  They cleaned up every little thing.  I worked with Their dispatcher Roxanne and she was great!  She was friendly and keep me updated throughout the entire process!  Their customer service skills are top notch!  We highly recommend this company!

My wife and I had been coddling our 22 yr old American Standard 5-ton for the last few years. We've had a few reasonable ($100-200) repairs over those 22 years, and a couple very recent $1000+ repairs. We knew we were living on borrowed time with this unit, so after looking, getting estimates, and saving up for the big bite...we settled on American Cooling & Heating in Gilbert AZ. Scot Morgan is the owner, and he's been in business in the Valley for about 30 years. His estimate was $3K less than the next best estimate, and the rest were higher. Even more amazing is the warranty from AH&C...so much better than all the others. Todd and his crew arrived early, started work immediately. They removed the old unit, along with a large MasterCool swamp cooler that was nonfunctional. They refabricated the plenum, installed a new electrical whip according to standard specs, installed the new Ruud 5-ton heat pump, ran a new evaporation drain, as well as new support timbers and resealing of the roof in that area. I've never seen a better, cleaner install of a new roof-top A/C unit!! They finished finished in a very reasonable time, and got my new ecobee thermostat set up real nice. Scot and Todd and their crews have it going on...I highly recommend them!

July 12 about 8 pm are A/C would not turn back on and the house is heating up. We heard about Howard Air on KTAR Radio last spring and had them out for maintenance on our A/C unit. I was happy to see they have a 24-hour service. I gave them a call tonight and in about and hour Yubani was at our door.  Yubani was polite and explained why the unit would not turn back on. Yubani took care of our problem and our unit is up and running again. Thank you!

Goettl may be all over radio advertising but you should stay far away. I was quoted $3200 to fix something totally unrelated with the actual problem. I'd like to add that the person from this company discovered the problem in about 10 minutes of being in the attic.

The ultimate issue was leaking check valves outside on the compressor and new refrigerant, total cost about $500. A technician from another well known company spent several hours searching and doing complete leak checks to determine why the refrigerant was 12 pounds low. Goettl didn't even mention the refrigerant being low and wanted to sell me a part that you can buy online for around $175 along with new coils, refrigerant extract and disposal and 15 pounds of new refrigerant.

Goettl technicians are paid almost exclusively on commission so it is in their best interest to find problems not even related with the issue. Had I paid the $3200 to do all of the work I would have had the issue again as the root cause of the leaking refrigerant was never discussed and would have slowly leaked out again.

Remember just because a company sounds completely trustworthy in their advertising does not mean that they are. Always trust but verify. Get multiple quotes and decide for yourself which one is being honest. There are bad apples everywhere but pretty easy to catch them in their game. Check the internet for the fixes that are recommended and you can see prices for parts and estimated labor.
