Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in United States

We are selling our house and needed to fix a couple things with our HVAC unit. I contacted J&M Sunday night through Yelp and they scheduled me right away and were out first thing Monday morning. They checked out the things listed in our inspection report and addressed what needed to actually be fixed. Didn't pressure us into anything extra. Simple and affordable and fast couldn't ask for anything better!

Our units were not cooling. They came out same day, repaired the issue. We are very happy with the service.

These guys are true lifesavers. My AC died out during middle of the night and it was hot af (over 110 degrees). While other companies did not even respond to me, Matthew was extremely responsive. Within an hour (on the same day), a technician arrived and fixed my issue immediately. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. No upsells and 100% honesty. Price was reasonable and they were extremely reliable. I will be using them from now on. Thank you M&R Refrigeration. Highly recommended! A++

A Quality HVAC is very honest!! We have had them out multiple times to service our equipment. They always give us a great report, and our unit is 10 years old! They do not try to upsell us at all. This time they did have a couple recommendations, but nothing too concerning or costly.

What I really LOVE is that they videotaped our equipment while also recording detailed comments as to the condition of our equipment!! Never has an HVAC company done that before!! I asked them to email it to me so that I could show my hubby and I promptly received the video!!

It was so impressive that they took the extra step so that I could SEE with my own eyes equipment that I cannot see without taking it apart myself or going up into the attic!! The two recommendations they suggested were documented in the video!! Kudos!!

Someone recently posted a negative review. If you look up that profile, you will see that person has 20 one star reviews and only 3 five star reviews. I always take that into consideration when determining the value of a review.

This company has many good reviews, and I say for good reason!! The employees are very competent, respectful and honest!!!

I couldn't be more happier with my experience. Jimmy and Michael came out to service my air conditioner and fix my nest system. They were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They figured out the problem very quickly with my nest (wiring issues) they were able to fix fast. My A/C runs great now too. The whole time they communicated and told me what was going on the whole time. I will definitely be using again. Very happy I found this company.

We had 2 sink drains replaced and 6 new drop lines installed. Unfortunately, the job was really sloppy and below my expectations. Dave left with 3 leaks (3!!!!) on 2 separate occasions, and left a lot of dirt and trash at the site. I wasn't home to supervise the issue but it really shouldn't need me to do quality check on each part! Ultimately, Hansen plumbing came back and did all of the job and they were willing to work to my satisfaction, but this was below average.

Phenomenal customer service! When our AC went out, all the other companies we called didn't answer or the expected call back never came. Ivan called back in ten minutes. He was extremely courteous and set up an appointment first thing the very next day, with only an hour window. He went straight to work and solved our problem quickly. Highly recommend Desert Diamond to everyone who has an AC unit in their house.

Highly recommended for Cooling and Heating services! I just had a complete new system installed and I couldn't be more happier. The process was easy from start to finish. The prices were great along with the service I received. Personable, professional and reasonable.

Just thought you should be aware that the owner of this company has been reported to the insurance provider. He lies through fabrication of stories. My recommendation is to steer far away this this owner and do not let him near your home.

Brett was great....super responsive, very knowledgeable and extremely professional, also very affordable for a service call.... he assisted me in looking at my unit to verify its current condition as I am going through a home warranty claim and wanted a second opinion...you can't go wrong with the Arizona A/C Man!

When we needed a new A/C, we contacted AC Doctors since we've used in the past and had excellent service.  We got an estimate and scheduled the replacement within a couple days. Luis Urquidez and his crew of 2 arrived exactly when promised and completed the replacement in 4 hours, which really amazed us since the last unit took a day and a half to install with a different company. Luis was super courteous and informative, especially when explaining the new thermostat and remote sensor.  We were especially pleased that they were able to take apart the air handler and reassembled it in the attic, instead of cutting a hole in the ceiling. Our crawl space is tight and the last company that replaced this unit 10 years ago cut a hole and left it for me to do the drywall work to seal it back up.  Luis saved us valuable time and energy by cutting a hole but instead made it through the existing crawl space in a couple pieces. The whole crew did a great job and cleaned up as if they were never here. We will continue to us AC Doctors in the future and would highly recommend them.

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

We returned from an out of town trip to find that one of our air conditioning units wasn't working. It was a great experience working with Freddy's; they were very responsive, communicated well, and fixed the issue.

We needed an Ecobee installed at our new older house. Having previously installed one, we attempted to install the new thermostat, but the wiring did not match the instructions. Johnny came out and was able to quickly get it installed and running at the price of a service call. Very happy with the service. Will definitely call again.

I had a huge problem and was getting frustrated with getting different answers from different AC companies.  Called and spoke with Kevin and he provided excellent customer service, I would highly recommend this company!

I had a fantastic experience with American Cooling and Heating. I called on a Sunday afternoon in July and a technician (Al) was at my door in less than an hour. Al quickly diagnosed the problem with my air conditioner. I was pleasantly surprised when he told me that he had the part on his truck. Al fixed the problem in less than an hour and I was back to having a cool house!  The next day a manager (Scott) called me to let me know that he had talked to my home warranty company and was able to get everything paid for by the home warranty company. I can whole heartedly recommend American Cooling and Heating. They are fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Al and Scott are assets to the company. Thank you for making a bad experience (no air conditioning in Arizona in July) a great experience.

**Update: almost 3 weeks later:  I had a separate, unrelated issue with my air conditioner today.  I was so happy when my home warranty company, once again, said I could contact American Cooling and Heating to fix the problem. Scott answered the phone immediately and took the report. He dispatched Al again, who was out within the hour and fixed the problem with friendly, fast service. The repair cost was reasonable and once again, I don't have to worry about my air conditioner. Love this company and Al and Scott!!

Very poor customer service and rude operators :(
I've been hearing their commercials on KTAR for years talking about their customer service and on-time technicians so naturally when my air conditioner went out I called them. They came out to my house diagnose the problem Monday and said they'd be back mid to late morning the next day. It was 93 degrees in our house and we have a 13-month-old son. We stayed in a hotel overnight and my wife came back at 10:30 a.m. to wait for the technician. After hours of waiting in a hot home, Sheila called to say the tech was STILL another hour away. She was not very friendly at all.
My baby started to get sick from the Heat,  so we left and waited 3 more hours. Finally we got a call from Sheila to inform us the tech was finally there.  I was very disappointed and asked to speak to a manager. Sheila was super rude & yelled at me and told me they're all in a meeting (I've heard that before.) Sheila even had the audacity to instruct me to be respectful to the technician when he arrived.  WTF???  We let the technician in and then we left again because it was too hot to wait in the house.  The technician left several hours later but never even called us to let us know whether or not he'd fixed the problem. I would not recommend Howard air to anyone ever.

Fall check with Justin. He is efficient, knowledgable and a credit to Goettl.
