Sold our house, and the buyers inspection revealed a couple of issues we didn't know about. A/C drip pan in the attic rusty, and drain line possibly plugged.

I contacted Hobaica to replace a leaking roof jack to my a/c. They came out the next day and gave me an estimate and scheduled the install for 2 days later. Angel and Jorge arrived on time to install the jack. It was quite a job as they had to move the a/c a couple of inches. 3 hours later they were done & cleaned up everything nicely and now I don't have a leak! I would always use and trust Hobaica. Had my entire on roof Package HVAC system replaced and additional ducts installed by Danny and his team (Anthony). This is probably the best HVAC company in Sacramento County. I would recommend them to anyone who is doing some HVAC work and needs a company that is cheaper than the competition, responsible, responsive, honest and just all around hard working individuals. You could probably give these guys a key to your house and go to work, that's how honest they are.

Bonnie, Home Depot and Lowes contractors came out and quoted me some outrages prices to replace the system and update some ducts as well as add a new air intake to help air circulate through my home. Luckily, I came across this company and read the reviews so decided to reach out. Danny (The Owner) responded quickly and setup a time to come give me a quote that same day. He showed up on time, ready to go and even gave me his direct cell number and said i can text him with any questions about the quote. A day or two later he built me three different quotes based on my needs and what i explained to him I needed to do VS what i would like to do. I chose to go with the medium option as it was significantly lower than the competitors and we scheduled a time over the next week to have the system replaced (This was important because we only had 2 days of break in the rain).
THE CUSTOMER SERVICE:
In the four days between signing the work estimate and the work suppose to start, I had multiple questions about the unit itself, the other options, and I even found a unit online that was on sale. Each and every time I contacted Danny by text or call, he answered right away. Looked into any sales information and even called the supplier to have them price match what I found online. Honestly, I was probably the most needy customer he has had but I want to make sure I am getting the best option for my money because who doesn't work hard for their money.

As usual it's either the dead of winter or the dead of summer when your HVAC unit stops working. After checking out reviews I called reliance and to my surprise they answered the phone right away and we're extremely pleasant. The receptionist took my information and said that she would do her best to get in contact with somebody that could get me taken care of right away but she would call me back as soon as she knew for sure. Literally within two or three minutes she called back to tell me that she could have someone out within a couple of hours, mind you it was already after 4 PM when I called them. When the technicians were on their way they sent me a text with not only the information about them but a picture, this is something I've never seen before and it was much appreciated. When they got here they put shoe covers on before they came in the house and then went to work assessing the problem. Both of them were extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with and even though it was clearly past closing time neither one of them in anyway whatsoever acted as though they were in a hurry to get out of my house, very professional. Not only did they find the problem but fortunately had a replacement part on the truck so I was able to get up and running right away. Very pleased with my experience with these guys, I will definitely call them in the future for any HVAC needs a have.

We bought an a/c from this company spring 2009 after several good experiences with another company just because they were more affordable. First service call cost nearly $100 because of dust buildup that clogged the pan in the attic to overflow causing water damage and our unit to repeatedly cut on & off. We diligently made sure that didn't happen again, but a couple years ago the unit was a pound low in refrigerant but service tech couldn't locate the leak in the supposedly closed system. That service call cost us over $200. A couple weeks ago the unit again was not cooling our house. Service tech again could not discover a leak and the unit seemed fine, but approx 2 lbs low in refrigerant this time. He added a sealant to the system which did end up revealing a couple tiny leaks in the coil - still under warranty. This visit cost us over $500. Between the purchase and this last service we referred two customers to them because despite the mishaps, the manager, salesperson, and Svc tech seemed honorable and honest. But 1st referral bought a unit that ended up needing Svc 1st two winters already just to get the heater working and wanted to charge her. I complained the 2nd time & they rectified the issue without additional cost to her BUT still managed to sell her a yearly Svc plan. The 2nd referral also bought a unit but no consideration or discount was afforded to us for that $500+ Svc bill, not even a coupon for pre-winter Svc. And the 2nd referral purchase resulted in damage to her residence when an installer slipped and damaged the drywall on her ceiling followed by a huge spill of blue adhesive on her new carpeting. Seriously? What happened to drop cloths? To make things worse, the manager delegated the issue to someone who passed her phone and address info to a drywall guy without her permission, the guy calls her to notify her when he would arrive to do ceiling repair and subsequently called 15 mins before he was scheduled to arrive to say he needs more sleep because he didn't feel well. Instead of 9am the disheveled guy appeared around 1pm! I could go on and on but I'm so done with this company. I lodged another complaint via email to the manager about how my 2nd referral is being treated and their lack of consideration for our loyalty that resulted in two a/c sales in addition to ours. No response. I could go on and on, but I'm done; enough said. Buyer beware.

I hired Day & Night to instal new Heat Pump on my roof. The consultant, Jason Gondella, was exceptional. Answered all of my questions. I was able to afford the new heat pump on a 0% for 36 months contract. Thier price was in line or even less than the other companies I got estimates from. Also, I am a senior at high risk for Covid 19 and fully vaccinated and I really appreciate that Jason is also fully vaccinated. Relieved my mind. The unit was installed in about 4 hours today, the workers are excellent, organized and efficient. Great folks to do business with.

Both of our AC units were on their last leg, house is about 20yrs old. I got quotes from 5 different companies, many of which were much larger, lots of the larger ones sent out dedicated sales people which was kind of a red flag for me that they need to charge higher prices for all of their extra employees. I'm really glad that I found DeModica Air, Jon Jon came out the day after I called him, explained all of my options, including patching my existing units which he said he could get them to last probably another 3 years. But he recommended replacement and we are glad we went with his recommendation. He had both units replaced, along with the air handlers in just 2 days. I highly recommend giving them a shot, at least invite them to give you a quote.

They are fabulous and so very knowledgeable. Came out, gave me an estimate and we set a date and time. I had to have a complete air/heating system put in. They came out, did their job which was greater than it should have been but the one that had to be removed was not done as well as it could have been. Apparently, because of that, they had more work to do. Never had a complaint, just did what had to be done. They are a full service company and they will be my go to for all my heating and plumbing needs. They are as honest as the day is long and besides being very professional,they are very congenial. I cannot say enough about this guys. They are terrific.

Last month our a/c stopped working. We filed a claim with our home warranty company on a Saturday and I was so worried that we were going to be without a/c for several days. Being August, 8 months pregnant, and also having a 1 year old I was very concerned! My husband left a message on Sunday, and someone contacted him back letting him know they would be out early Monday. The communication was great and the tech who came had the part we needed on hand and fixed it right away. I was so thankful! Great customer service and no further problems, couldn't ask for better!

We had Quantum perform a checkup on our system and are extremely satisfied with the service received. They arrived exactly when they said they would and got it taken care of. We had been told in the past by several other companies that there was an issue that needed to be fixed and would be fairly expensive. Kevin checked it out and dispelled that. He identified a minor issue that may come up but nothing that needed immediate attention. The price for the checkup was very reasonable. We also like that they are a small, local company. I was having a tough time finding someone to fix my Midea Air-handler, as it is not a common brand of A/C. When I called 1800Plumber+Air, Ben answered the phone and listened to exactly what the issue was- he took down the model of my unit and actually talked through the repairs with his tech before sending him out. The other companies I called (Goettl and George Brazil)just have an answering service and they do not relay any important info to their techs, thus having them show up only to say they could not fix it or find parts.

So my first Impression from the company was really positive but after I signed on the dotted line things changed...the system was to be installed in one day and all trash was to be removed same day. I left the installers and headed off to work. When I got home everything seemed to be in order other than all the trash they left in my front yard. The next morning I headed up into the attic to look at the new unit and I was not happy. There were exposed wires just left lying in the attic, the changes to the air intake that were discussed in the contract had not been done and there was a 2 inch gap in the air duct cooling my attic not my home. I called the office and left a message for Mike and received no response. I called the following day and they finally had someone come take away the old unit. After 2 more visits they finally got the hole fixed and wires taped off. As I was talking to the tech about the repairs I asked where the air scrubber/UV light was located that was included in my contract. The Tech told me it hadn't been installed and it was never in his work request. So I called Mike and he assured me it was an honest mistake and that they weren't trying to cheat me. The Trane unit seems to be doing great and I am happy with it but the customer service was differently lacking. I wish I could say I just caught them on a bad day but this was over 3 weeks. Hopefully they can work on this and insure it doesn't happen to others.
