Best Windows Installations in Phoenix, AZ

I had to wait until summer to add this addendum to the review. I just got my June APS bill and it was $224. Last year's June bill was $282.  

So my point in adding to the review is to let people know that these energy efficient windows really do work and lower your power bill.

We purchased a 20 year old home in north Scottsdale in Sept. the windows were all in need of replacement. We called Desert King and made an appointment. Jim P. Came out on time . He made a very thorough presentation, was not pushy at all. He gave us a very fair estimate to replace all our windows including a sliding door. We replaced all the windows over a 5 month period.  James who was in charge of measuring and scheduling was a pleasure to deal with. All three crews were hardworking and cleaned up afterwards. We had an issue with one of the larger windows and James had someone out to reinstall it with no issues. All in all we are very satisfied with this company. And would recommend them without hesitation. Oh and they didn't charge a dime until after the windows were installed and we were satisfied..

Did the whole deal remotely for a rental I have in Mesa.  His price beat the pants off the competition plus Mike's customer service was second to none.  Installation went super smooth and he even went back to take pictures of the windows for me since I couldn't be there in person.  Financed the windows 18 months same as cash.  I even had questions after the install and Mike was quick to answer.  Excellent experience,  highly recommend them!

The level of service from Mark was unbeatable.
We were on a short vacation at our Scottsdale home and on a really tight schedule. We had a broken glass sliding door - Mark was the only guy who was willing to come out and provide a quote on short notice. All of the other glass companies wanted to schedule something for the followng week - when we would already be gone! I even explained our situation to these other companies, but they weren't interested in the business. Mark came out, was very prompt and is a really friendly guy. We handled the quote and payment long distance and arranged an appointment for install on our next visit. Mark was prompt and did a really clean installation. I will be sure to call Mark for any future glass work, and will highly recommend him to friends.

I have wanted to upgrade my windows for at least 5 years. I read all the different reviews for window companies. Thus I chose K & J based on all these comments, I am just in the beginning of my experience, I made a request for service on Saturday, asking not to be called prior to 11 am. I received a call back on Monday at noon, to make my appointment. So nice they paid attention to the comments I made. I just met today, Tuesday, with Cody. Very pleasant, no nonsense kinda sales rep, Awesome. He was here about 20 min, measured my windows, made some smart suggestions. Educated me, the uneducated on windows. I now will wait to see what kind of quote I receive. I know it will cost me a good amount. I hope I do not start hyperventilating. To be continued. I got my quote from Danielle within 3 hours of Cody's visit, this place is great. The quote was totally under what I thought it would be. I did not hyperventilate at all. I sent a reply back, now I wait for the next act.
I received a call to schedule my install date, it is 4 weeks out, May 12th  
I then got a call to come out and recheck the measurements on the windows and give them half the payment. That is on for This Wed April 13. So far so good.
John just got here to do the final check on the windows and found out, Cody only measured 8 of them instead of 9. No big deal, it is my living room window. So it will cost me a tad more, but that is understandable. Let us see what happens now. The next appointment I have is installation day May 12th. I also asked John about a computer desk I have in front of one of the windows. He said that he and his partner will help to move it out of the way on May 12th. They do not need a whole lot of room to move around. That is great cause it is heavy to move. I like John very professional no nonsense. I like that in a company.
April 15th.  Wow all I can say is Wow, I received an email from Cody that said since it was his error, that I would get the 9th window included in my original price quote. That is above and beyond what I expected. This is a wonderful experience so far. Now I can't wait for May 12th
It is now May 12th, all I can say is wow, these guys are great.  John and Julio showed up at 8:30 am they were done at 4:15 pm. Beautiful job. No fuss no Hassle the windows are as clean and beautiful as I imagined. When they were all done I made a comment to John about hoping I would not hear the kid across the street playing his drums. John said well he is playing them right now.I could not hear it at all. I was in the front room straight across the street from the blooming drummer. Thank you to K & J Windows. I want to thank Cody the sales rep, and John & Julio. I will be expecting a phone call to get my final payment, cause they take Credit Cards. AWESOME! The whole thing was great. Price, customer service, sales and installation.

Had them install Windows screens a month or two ago. The screens work great. The people were nice and explained the process. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is a lot  of the screens came scratched or scuffed up. I mentioned this to the installer and he said the supplier doesn't wrap the screens only the corners so this tends to happen during transportation. If I were them I'd require the supplier to wrap the entire screen to prevent this.

When I requested a bid I was sure to add specific notes about what we were looking for AND asked the scheduler that the estimator was aware of our request so that we maximized our appt and he would be prepared. After I left a voicemail for the estimator making sure that he'd read the notes, so that we were on the same page, and ten minutes AFTER our scheduled appointment time, Sal called to tell me it wasn't going to work for them. I don't know which is worse, the lack of professionalism and arrogance in that statement or the lack of consideration for our time and the needs that were clearly stated two weeks ago. No doubt they will rationalize their bad behavior and try to flip it on me... Buyer beware. By the way, we did find an excellent custom installer with great communication and fair pricing. I needed a quick board up and new window as soon as possible. I called Sunny state glass and Dwayne came right out and did the board up and within 3 days installed my new beautiful window! I highly recommend Sunny State Glass and will be using them in the future! Thanks again for your great work Dwayne!!

Two nice guys replaced our front window.   On time.  Very polite.  Much less expensive that our  first quote.   I would use them again if needed

They were super professional. We got a new window in 4 days after it was measured. We would definitely use them again

Abraham did a great job replacing the non-standard size double pane glass in on of our French doors.  He made three trips out to Carefree to provide us with his estimate, get exact measurements for the glass order, and finally for the installation.  His estimate was very reasonable and he kept us informed of his progress all the way through the process.  I would definitely call Golden Glass and Glazing again for any future glass work I might need.

Unfortunately my experience with Apple High glass repair did not turn out as expected. I will not get into detail as I'm sure Tyrone will dispute it. I no longer recommend him nor his business.

Had windows ordered that were part of warranty work and needed installers to put the glass in. Bill, Rick, Nick and Cheryl went out of they're way to work with me and the warranty company. Installers worked on Saturday because my windows were delayed. Price very fair and can't say enough about the customer service.

Had a difficult gutter installation (2 story hillside house). Paul was able to quickly provide a completive quote. Crew was professional and did an amazing job. Fantastic customer service!

We could not be happier with SR Glass! We had three windows replaced and a sliding glass door fixed that did not want to slide. Angel was our installer and he was very professional and courteous. He did and exceptional job. When he left my husband made the comment you need to let the company know what a good job Angel does. There was no muss, no fuss, just a job well done.

Had my front and back porch roof redone a year ago by PCC Roofing and they did a great job they were efficient and cleaned up great after. I had a monsoon issue a year later and they were quick to come out and help me with the issue they even fixed a part of my roof that had nothing to do with the job they did. Very professional good guys I'd recommend this company to anyone.

We did not end up having work done by this company, but man are their sales practices suspect. Had an appointment for a free estimate, the gentlemen showed up on time. He was perturbed to find my wife was not home and advised it was imperative we both be there for his sales pitch (this was NOT mentioned by their scheduling team). He wouldn't so much as do any basic measurements or give any preliminary estimates to justify his trip, which he complained about how long it was. He pressured me into rescheduling when both my spouse and I would be home, but I ended up calling back to cancel. I understand why you would want to speak to both homeowners, but leave that arrangement up to the homeowners themselves. He even went so far as to say he isn't trying to twist our arm our anything (then why even say something like that?). My wife and I have had countless projects done on our homes in the past. We know how to communicate with one another and we don't make any final decisions without talking it over first. But in the end, that's OUR business and not the business of a window company who is no doubt trying to employ less than savory sales tactics.

On Saturday April 17 2021 I checked the Window World web site and it clearly stated on Google that they were open till 3 in the afternoon. I drove 45 minutes one way to visit with a sales rep in the sales office at their headquarters.  Upon arrival the doors were locked and the sign posted said they required an appointment.  I spoke to a receptionist who said a sales rep would call me back.  On Monday I received a call.  The sales agent was rude, and basically offered no assistance or a willingness to be of assistance.  I have used Window World in the past for 3 different homes.  I liked both the quality and the price.  In the past 12 months I have sent 3 clients to them based on previous experience.  All three were completely disappointed.  Basically they have gone into hiding it appears.  10 to 14 weeks to get production windows is not acceptable.   Sad that a once good company is no longer worth recommending.

Trying to get him to come measure and it appears he  doesn't want the business. Keeps telling me I'll call you back....call never happens. Either too busy or don't care about more business. Secretary told me I could look somewhere else, since she doesn't know when he will be able to come measure.
