After getting an outrageous quote from another window company, my neighbors suggested I call Quad City. Curtis came out the next day and gave me a quote that evening. I was so happy with what they offered. They are so friendly, professional and do quality work! My husband works for a builder and sees a lot of installers leave huge messes and sub par work that needs to be fixed. He was so happy when he came home and saw the amazing install. We could not be happier that we chose Quad City and will be recommending them to all of our friends and family!

We had to replace our existing skylights. Had several quotes from various companies. Mitch came buy with a quote that was within reason and comparable to the others. What separated  Mitch, and overnight skylight, from the others was his enthusiasm, commitment, and passion for what he was doing and talking about. Not going to lie, I had my reservations considering they were relatively new company with a new license. I voiced these concerns to Mitch and he understand yet was committed to starting his business off on the right foot. In today's world it's important to give a new business the opportunity to build a positive reputation and that is exactly what they've started doing. Mitch and his partner (Who, I might add, is a 3rd generation, glass person), do it right! No issues, on time, excellent work and they stand behind their work and the product they install. I would lightly recommend overnight skylight and the team.

  We had Apache Glass several years ago install shower doors, replace all windows and install 8' 3 piece closet doors in 2 different rooms. Great experience and service!   ....Then the company was sold and the customer service has moved to the bottom of the trash can. We have called a couple of time for work on the closet doors, this last time takes the cake. From the very beginning things started to go wrong. The house was vacant and I asked them to call prior to showing up, that didn't happen twice. Then they call asking for final payment and I proceed to tell her that the closet doors are still not fixed so I'm not paying a dime. They put me on the phone with the tech that came out, we talk and he says that he will come back out so we can talk and I can show him whats still wrong. No call no show. They call again asking for final payment, I explain again that I'm not going to pay a dime. They tell me that they will have the tech call me, I explain that that won't do anything but if they want to thats up to them....low and behold....no call, and its been almost 3 weeks. I'll be calling another glass company from now one.

Desert breeze was recommended to me and my initial thoughts were positive.  They quickly scheduled a date to come in to do estimates on repair of window balances on 8 windows.  I received the estimate and thought it was a bit high as I didn't think parts would be too expensive but due to Covid I went with it.  The estimate showed $675 for labor so I assumed it was very challenging to replace the balances.  The technician arrived as scheduled and quickly started working.  In under 1 hour he was complete with all 8 windows.  Having him done fast was great however.......$675 for under 1 hour of work with only 1 technician!!!!!  Even if he had to drive an hour to get there and it was 2 hours.....at over $300 an hour labor!!!  I'm definitely in the wrong career.  Emailed them and received a call back.  No real explanation other than sometimes the jobs are a bit harder.  They did offer a discount IF I  used their services again in the future.  Bottom line is $675 for 1 hour work is not ethical to charge!!!!

Less than a week after buying a new car, my windshield was cracked from a rock on the 51. I scheduled an appointment with Universal Glass to replace the windshield. Joseph from Universal called when he was on the way, showed up as promised and was extremely meticulous and careful while removing the old windshield and installing a new one. One of the first things he did was inspect the factory installation of the original glass and pointed out areas that could cause me concern after the new windshield was installed. Smart man!! He was patient with my questions and very careful during the entire process. I was quite impressed with his expertise and the care he took while doing the job. If you can get Joseph to replace your windshield, you will be very satisfied with his work. Thanks Joseph!!

Terrible estimating, follow up and scheduling.

Hope installation goes better and good quality. Price was ridiculous by time it was finalized.

Install went well - at least it hasn't fallen out or leaked yet. We'll see - compared to 2.5 times the original price.

I highly recommend Red Rock for your project. They did my project to turn a window into a door and did an amazing job. Their price was more competitive than the other two quotes I received, and they were also the best communicators and least salesy company I spoke with. The technicians who did the installation were skilled and also had good customer service. They answered all my questions and ensured they answered all of my questions. Highly recommend!

I purchased a 12 X 36 window to replace an old aluminum window above our shower.  They told me it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get the window.  After 3 weeks I was contacted and they told me that it would be installed on Friday, 9/23.  The office manager, Kelli told me the installer would be there about 10:30 am.  I waited until 2:50 pm, when Kelli called and said their installer got tied up.  She asked if they could reschedule for the following Thursday or Friday.  I told her I had an appointment on Thursday, but Friday worked well.  She told me I would be first on his list.  On Wednesday I got an email to call Kelli.  I phoned her and she asked if their installer could come on Thursday, 9/29.  I explained that my appointment had been rescheduled and I was available on Thursday.  I asked if I would be first on his list? Kelli said yes, that he needed to pick up some doors but should be at my house by 10:30 am.  On Thursday I waited until 1:10 pm, without the installer showing up.  I called the office and got their voicemail.  I left a message that their installer had not showed, and requested she call me back.  I got no return call.  At 4 pm I called again and got their message machine again.  I again told them that their installer had not arrived and requested a call back.  Again, no return call.  
On Friday 9/30 at 8:45 am their installer arrived.  He replaced the window and left.  I went to their office to pay the balance.  Kelli handled the transaction without any word of the previous day's messages.
It appears that if you have a small order, you are put in limbo.  Common courtesy would be to call me back and explain the situation.

I had bought a shower door to have installed. I called around to a few places that installed shower doors. Most were way too expensive. I called CK glass,  Cody and Kat were great to work with a very reasonable rate. Cody and Jared showed up on Friday morning and had my shower door installed within an hour and a half. Very professional and everything came out great. Thanks CK glass and mirror.
