We specialize in residential replacement windows and doors, professionalism and customer service. We are focused in helping to educate our clients about windows and doors so they can make informed decisions on choosing what products are best for their needs and deciding who is most qualified to install them.

HISTORY

Established in 2006.
Family owned and operated, K & J Windows began as a window and door supplier to Arizona's professional builders and contractors. We built our reputation by providing high-quality products and premier customer service to industry professionals before becoming a residential window replacement company. K & J Windows is a certified dealer for many different manufacturers. We are purposely set up to offer a wide variety of replacement windows and replacement doors for homeowners to have many product choices that fit their budget and taste. K & J's first showroom, located at 21st Ave and Glendale, became a dwelling for contractors and homeowners to view product, bring clients, and ultimately display a higher level of professionalism. In 2016, after almost 10 years, K & J relocated its showroom and office to 24th Ave and Northern due to increasing demand for their product and customer service.

Darin Garcia is the owner of K & J Windows which has been in business for over 10 years and is named after his daughter Kevyn and his son Jack.

Originally from California, He studied Political Science at U.C.L.A and has worked for several large companies outside of the construction industry prior to starting K & J. Having worked in large professional companies has allowed him to incorporate what he has learned and liked from those past experiences.

I am passionate about customer service and product knowledge and I ensure my team members are exposed to ongoing training so my clients have the opportunity to work with professionals

As a single father his biggest accomplishments are his children Kevyn and Jack, and naming the company after them is a constant reminder of who the company is representing on a daily basis.

We were extremely happy with K & J windows when they installed our windows and doors in 2014.

Update:  I called with a warranty issue 10 years later!!!  Debbie was extremely friendly and helpful.  New parts being ordered for repair.

I have recommended them in the past and will continue to recommend K & J.

Another fantastic job by K & J Windows.

In 2018 we had K & J Windows completely replace all of the windows in our home on Love Court in Fountain Hills. They did an outstanding job we gave them five stars and it was well earned on their part.  You may be able to find my previous review here on Yelp. Knowing what kind of work they did for us back then we didn't even hesitate to call them to come and give us an estimate for patio doors and man door for our new house. Once again K&J was not only the lowest bidder but also the best quality product.  We got the best quality and best price and then we got the best installers. Jose and Jacob who are a father son team worked tirelessly, flawlessly and expertly for the entire day. I was extremely impressed how independently they worked yet seamlessly the entire day. I didn't realize Jacob was Jose's son until the end of the day. It wasn't like a father teaching or instructing his son, they were truly separate and well qualified workers. You could tell they had the experience and expertise to do this entire job independently if they had to.  So hats off to K & J Windows for another five star job.  If you're looking to replace your windows in your residence do not hesitate for a second to contact K & J windows.  You'll be impressed with their high quality of Windows, installers and customer service.  They are by far the best around.

I had windows and doors installed in July, 2022.  4 months later, I finally have the warranty issues resolved and ready to do one of several reviews.

To begin, a good and trusted friend referred this company to me. A person I've known for over 7 yrs. who has actually built homes. She is someone I trust. She only installed windows.  So I didn't shop them, huge mistake!

Unfortunately, I experienced the inconsistencies of this outfit. I made my initial complaint to the GM and she stated she would come on site (my home) and review the issues along with the installer.  Upon arrival, I learned the owner Darin Garcia was in place of the GM and Zeb, who I believe owns the install group along with the door Rep. who I don't recall his name.  I said, wow, the owner came out.  Upon Darin's visit he stated and I quote, if you lived in south Phoenix and talked me down on my price, I wouldn't be talking to you (I live in Scottsdale).  After that comment, I shouldn't need to write anymore and won't as I have a lot.  Not enough room here.

After his visit, Darin wrote me an email stating, don't call or respond to my email as we will delete it if you defame me on social media you will hear from my lawyers.  Also in that email, he attacked me personally saying I had issues.

Almost forgot, the installers showed me how to open and close the kitchen window before they grabbed their $10k and split.

Installers and sales person are 1099 workers, subcontractors. Renewal by Andersen warns you of these outfits in their commercials.

I've heard great things about Affordable Windows in Gilbert, AZ. They're dealers of the Simonton windows.  Cornerstone is the parent company of Simonton who have been around since 1941.

Stay clear of this outfit and especially their doors!!!!!!

Darin will most likely provide a rebuttal.  The more defensive, the more it will solidify my experience which was poor.

Tell ALL your friends to avoid this outfit and especially the ones in south Phoenix.

A big thumbs up to K & J.

They installed 25 Milgard windows at my house 2 weeks ago. This took 4 days and the install crew showed up on time and cleaned up each day and answered my question as I watched over everything. I was worried that my stucco might not come out right, but even that was on point. I also double-checked the windows at the end and the only thing I found was a casement window that was a little sticky to open and they quickly fixed it.

Regarding the quote process, Tony was easy to work with, knowledgeable about their products, and revised my order several times as I worked out the final details. I had a few concerns, like making sure that when I replaced a narrow window at my front door that the frame would not be too thick, but it looks great.

Also thanks to Debbie for checking after the job (and after I paid) to make sure I was still happy. Based on the job they did at my house, my neighbor is going to update their windows too.

Update: we recently had a warranty miscommunication issue that the owner rectified and it just cemented our AAA rating of this company.  He personally called me and was extremely accommodating in helping us out! Thrilled to also hear they now service Prescott! We'd recommended this company in the past and those friends are still very happy with K&J! Do yourselves a favor and call them for new windows!

We had K & J windows install 25 brand new windows, a side door and change a French door to a sliding door.  I cannot even begin to say what a wonderful experience it was.  From the salesman who came to the house with no nonsense pricing gimmicks, to scheduling and the installation crew everyone was nice, respectful and professional, on time.  Even when our dog escaped!!

The best part is how they handled adversity. Any company can do a great job when things go well, a truly good company handles adversity with prompt responses and resolution.  Our first snag was when replacing the side door we found the previous homeowners had the door installed on top of electrical wiring. They sealed the opening and had to wait for us to get an electrician to move the wires. Then the manufacturer cut one window 4 inches to short, they were on the phone immediately with the company to have a new window ordered and installed in less than 3 weeks, amazing.  I never had to call to follow up, they always called me and kept their promises.

K & J Windows was recommended by a friend who had used them several years ago, and they did not disappoint!  A great experience from start to finish.  Our new windows were expertly installed and are a beautiful and functional improvement to our home. From the first appointment in our home with Cody, who was very knowledgeable and helpful, through the installation by Nick, Solo, and Larry.  Installation (9 windows & a slider) was completed in less than 8 hours.  Even more amazing was the clean up!  The guys were meticulous.  Quality company and great pricing, too.

We saw the Milgard windows on a neighbors home and found that K&J Windows sold them.  Tony, our sales rep, did a great job showing us what was available and we replaced all 9 windows.  Jose and Jake were our installers and we could not be more pleased.  They did excellent work and took time answering all our questions.  They were so friendly and went above and beyond.  Our friends / neighbors are getting the exact same windows now.  They actually were able to install our windows earlier than expected, which we loved!  They absolutely earned a five star review!!!

repeat customer -completing the rest of our windows.  Everything about this company is 5 star.  Zero pressure sales, great prices nothing hidden. Installers professional and fast. No cleanup required after they left. No damage to interior and zero stucco damage -  If your looking for quality AZ windows without any hidden fees or charges K&J is who you want replacing your windows.  Don't hesitate to at least get a quote it will be worth it.

Had an appointment scheduled for almost a week and received an email confirming my appointment. The day/time of my appointment, no one showed up. I received a call an hour later saying there was a mix-up and they can reschedule it... I took a vacation day off of work and waited around, what a waste! The lady who called to reschedule was unfriendly and unapologetic and acted like it was no big deal.

In looking at other reviews on here, it seems like most of the 5-star reviews all say the same thing and are all from new Yelp accounts with no other review... just saying.

Where to begin!  K & J was a breeze to work with from start to finish.  We had several quotes from various companies and they were all high pressure and over priced.  Tony was laid back, very thorough and explained everything and had great suggestions on what windows to use.  Once we received our quote and accepted it, they immediately scheduled our windows for measurement.  I don't recall who measured them, but he also had great suggestions regarding the sliding doors and the type of finish.  (We thought we wanted French doors).  We opted not to go with a French slider.

Once the doors were ordered they immediately scheduled installation.  They called a couple days in advance of installation and went over what to expect and when they installers were going to arrive (7:30 a.m.).  

Promptly at 7:30 a.m. Dennis and Carlos were at our house Monday and started immediately with installation.  They were very professional and super easy to work with.  The installation was impeccable and they took great pride in the quality of their work.  They were thorough in finishing details with the sealing (inside and out), stucco around the sliding doors, colored screws to match the frames, window cleaning and were extremely spotless throughout the entire construction process.    

The entire process was a breeze from start to finish and I highly recommend K & J Windows for your window project!!!!!

I contracted K & J Windows to replace 17 windows in my home and they were responsive from start to finish. They do not pressure sell and offer good product options to choose from and their customer service and response time was excellent.  Most important to me was their installation and the install team Nick, Larry, and Solo did a great job. They were professional, on schedule, courteous and when the job was done after two days they made sure they cleaned up inside and out and obtained my approval. I highly recommend this family owned business.

K & J Windows installed all new windows at our home.  Top notch customer service and the install was incredible!  Jacob Brown came out to our house measured and provided us will all the information we needed regarding windows and pricing.  He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He got back to us in a timely manner and his organization and professionalism was superb.  

The installation crew, Jose, Jacob and Scott were excellent.  Fast and professional. Their expertise was apparent through the whole process.  I would definitely recommend K&J Windows.  

Thank you K&J for such a great experience.  We have had many different remodeling project over the past few years and they have provided the best service thus far.

Cody was very professional and answered all our questions on the windows and the install process. The quote was reasonable to replace 9 windows in our 70's block home so we hired them. It did take a few months for the windows to come in, but they did come in a month ahead of schedule. K&J was able to get us scheduled for the install right away. The installers arrived on time and were very courteous and clean. They did a great job on the install and we are very happy.

Had new windows installed today. The crew was very professional and efficient. Everything look great! They cleaned up their mess and I can't even tell they were here.

I had several quotes and follow ups with other companies. K and J was the only one who didn't tag on a bunch of unnecessary fees.

K&J Windows did a great job on our windows.  Our salesman, Tony, was very informative and explained the whole process.  We originally requested a bid for our Arizona room and a couple of windows also in the back of the house.  The bid came in well under our budget, so we decided to do the whole house.  Our Milgard windows came in sooner than promised.  Our installers, Jose, Jacob and Scott, did a super job installing them.  They cleaned up after words and washed all the windows inside and out.   Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

After extensive quotes and research of various companies to have all of our windows and front door replaced we chose K&J Windows. We are extremely glad we did!!

Darin's professionalism from the first day provided us confidence in his work. He went through every detail, provided good suggestions on selecting windows, followed up on all questions and was very patient with us. Office staff was very helpful in competing the quote and returned calls promptly.

Nick and his crew were very thorough in removing the old windows, installing the new Milgard Ultra Series windows and cleaning up the site. Everything was top notch.  The stucco job after the window installation was great and matched the existing texture.

We highly recommend K&J if you are in the need of replacement windows or doors.

I wish I could give a long review about a positive experience with this company.  You certainly think you will when you pick the #1 yelp rated windows vendor.  Unfortunately, I never got that far.

I called approximately a month ahead of my appointment time due to the fact that we are not in town frequently.  We needed help with windows at a condo we just moved into.  After talking with the person answering the phones we scheduled an appointment for about 4 weeks away.  

One business day before install, I missed a call and had a voicemail from K&J cancelling my appointment.  They said They reviewed the job and it's not something they do.  They gave me a different business to call (who of course can't come out on one day's notice..and we leave town again the next day).  

If its not something they do, how did they figure that out when the person scheduling said that they DID do that?  Why wait until the day before?  

Unfortunately, just led to a frustrated potential customer.

I had the pleasure of working with K&J Windows and could not be happier with my choice. Cody was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and guided me through the process of updating a 1950's ranch style home. The crew (Nick, Carlos, Solo and Larry) were the best team you could ask for. They know their craft and did an amazing job from start to finish. The reduction in the noise level was immediately noticable and the temperature of the house is more consistent and stable. These guys were really great from start to finish. Tony was very professional and helpful while I was choosing a window type, the measurer was on time and thorough, and the installers (Joe and another guy whose name I didn't get) did an amazing job and I'm super happy with the results. This whole team was outstanding. From start to finish. I wish they did more than windows. This was a completed window and door replacement of our house

It started with Cody. He was professional and explained all of our options in a low pressure environment.  Once we decided to go with K & J, they never disappointed throughout the project. The team kept us informed during the ordering stage. Once the windows arrived, they kept their word on the installation start and completion times.  The installation team of Nick, Solo, Carlos, Scott, Gary, and Pepe were unbelievable. They were on time every day. At the end of each day, we came home to clean house.  They even let our dog out during the day.

We kept waiting the bad news to start with a project of this size. It never did. They exceeded all of our expectations.

K&J Windows replaced all the windows, french doors and changed a large 12' sitting room window into a slider in my 1979 brick home in Gilbert. From the outset they were great. Tony came to do the quote and was extremely knowledgeable and able to talk through the options. Although the installation was delayed a few times, due to supply chain issues, the office always kept me informed and worked with me to find dates and times that would work. Then when Dennis and his crew came to do the install I was just blown away by their work. They were courteous and professional, clean and above all fast. The install is great quality work and I'm really pleased with the results. If I had more doors and windows to install, I would definitely use them again.

I found this company after reading multiple people were satisfied with their work on the next door app. The first person who came out to tell us all about the different types of windows, show us samples, take measurements, and give us a quote was Tony. He was incredibly knowledgable, professional, and confident. After meeting him and doing a little research we decided this was the right company for us. (As a side note we were comparing this company with another window company who was also highly rated and in business longer than K&J). Next, Zeb came out and measured. He worked with our schedule and was very flexible. He was very easy to communicate with and even answered my calls multiple times on a Saturday morning. The windows came in much faster than expected which was a great surprise and the install was setup only 2 days later. Brandon and Andrew came out for the install. They were on time, professional, and extremely careful about keeping our house clean where they worked. My husband and I watched them install and they made sure each window was perfect. They took their time, and left the house (interior and exterior) just the way it was before. The women in the office were wonderful to talk to and called the next day to make sure everything went well with the install.

As for the actual windows we could not be more thrilled. They are beautiful, clean, energy efficient, and we immediately noticed a difference in the temperature in our house. Our house only has 5 windows and was so dark before. The new windows let in beautiful light without the warmth and the exterior looks so updated that our neighbor commented on it the next day.

If we ever need windows again we will be calling K&J. We highly recommend them!

I bought a new (to me) home in June.  It was an older home (1982) with original windows (aluminum single pane), no screens, and I could feel the heat just pouring in as my ac worked overtime to cool down the house.  That's when I decided I needed to get new windows.  Now.  

I had about 4 different companies come out to give me an estimate.  The first was outrageously priced and I about fainted at the price (20k! For 8-9 windows).  The following 3 were about the same price give or take a few hundred.  

The reasons I decided to go with K&J was simple.  Cody, the guy who came to give me my estimate, was knowledgeable and friendly without pressuring me to sign any contract or overcharge me for every little thing.  He gave me the info I needed to make an informed decision along with his email or phone number to ask questions as they came to me later.  Which I did! A lot.  (Sorry cody!) Lol

Second,  they did everything they said they'd do and more.  The install was scheduled in a timely fashion, it was easy to contact someone if I had a question or concern, and they were helpful and considerate.

Next, the install crew was amazing.  They showed up on time, got right to work, set my mind at east about any concerns (I'm a worrier), made sure my dogs were safe as they moved through the house,  were considerate of the heat, completed their work in a timely manner, cleaned up after they were done! I mean, what else could you ask for??

The windows are beautiful! Exactly what I asked for.  I can now keep out the heat when I want or open up a window for fresh air- without the bugs! I can already notice a difference in my ac and the noise reduction inside my home.  

From start to finish this was a outstanding process with K&J.  I recommend them to everyone!

Ps. If someone pressures you to sign up with them- don't! Run straight to K&J!

Updating to 5 stars.  Why?  Because K&J earns it!

I received a call from Darren (the owner) who reviewed the debris situation with me and immediately sent a team over to remedy the issue.  Darren went above and beyond to make everything right and the follow up actions were taken care of so well, that I even decided to go with K&J to replace my doors and sidelights after all.  
K&J really is a family-oriented business and when you become a customer, it feels like you also become family.  I fully trust these guys, for all of my current as well as upcoming needs.  Choose K&J, and you'll see why.  Thank you Darren, Cody, Zeb and the rest of the Family!

Although I was not able to contract service with K & J Windows, they deserve a great review just for their care in responding, assessing my problem and leading me to the solution.  I contacted them because a contractor installed french doors.  The first rain storm came and a small puddle leaked inside the door.  When I contacted them, they quickly let me know that they could not service the problem, but offered information to help get to the remedy.  Each and every representative from K& J have been a pleasure to encounter.  I am sure one day I will be contacting them to assist me with future products.

We bid out a fairly large project of 21 windows to five different window contractors. K&J was timely, communicative, priced well and provided good options for the level and type of windows we were looking for. The windows came in timely and their installers completed the task in two days without any issues. They even cleaned up another window that was installed by the previous homeowner that wasn't ever sealed. I would definitely recommend K&J to anyone looking for good service and reasonably priced options.

Even though I chose to go another direction, it was not due to the sales person, David was pleasant and was available for my questions throughout the decision making process. I am giving them 5 stars for their customer service. I unfortunately preferred a different product. Their price was very competitive and fair. They even beat out Lowe's by 30-40%. I cannot comment on their work as I did not have it done but their sales team were exceptionally professional and responsive.

Wow! My only regret is that I didn't do ALL my windows!!! Atleast I know who to call when I'm ready for the other half! These guys were absolutely the best, from start to finish. Not to mention they were litterly half the price as my other qoute!! So many other great things to say, but best if all they left my house cleaner then when they came, I couldnt believe it!! The crew came today to install: they were clean, professional, and skilled. Very happy w the install, the quality of the windows, and the overall effort to do a good job and to get us the exact custom windows we wanted, all for a fair price.

Great experience from start to finish.

First I really liked the no pressure sales process. Tony came out and measured the windows and sent me a quote shortly thereafter via email giving me the chance to consider the quote and not be forced into making an on the spot choice I may not be comfortable with.

Price was reasonable, Windows came in on time, installers were efficient and left everything very clean and the windows look great. I highly recommend K&J.

Thanks to Cody and the team for the professionalism and subject matter expertise. I had to replace a wall of full of windows in my condo that were improperly selected and installed by a different (now out of business) company. I spoke with multiple companies, but didn't get the confidence that their solution would solve our problems. K&J was recommended by the manufacturer as technically solid and trustworthy. Cody worked with me, the manufacturer, and the remediation company to ensure the new windows were properly sized and installed correctly. He treated me (a female customer) with respect and went the extra mile. We would have had K&J install the windows, had there been no concerns about potential mold damage. Highly recommend this company!!!

K & J windows was one of 5 companies I called to get an estimate for replacing a sliding door. My service experience with them was the worst of the 5 companies. CJ answered the phone when I called. He has little ability to provide a friendly customer service interaction, He scheduled an appt for the estimator to come out. He called me back and left a message to see if they could give me a price over vs. sending the estimator.  When I called him back he told me they were real busy. He told me they were scheduled 10-12 weeks out before they could install the door. It sure would have been nice to know that in our first conversation. I only found out because he didn't want to send someone one out to measure the door.

Cody came out for a quote & gave me lots of information about options for installation. He explained everything in great detail, including drawing pictures. He also returned a 2nd time after I decided not to go forward in the future with stucco, which apparently changes everything about the install. The issue I had was too much information, which sometimes can be confusing & was so for me. That's my fault more than his. I mention this because it mattered once I saw the install & it wasn't what I expected. My home is very old & presented challenges. I expressed my concern/anxiety to Jeff & he immediately called the office to discuss options. Cody called me later in the day with an option that would fix the aesthetic concern I had & plans to get back to me with a quote for that.

I had all windows and a slider installed. They started about an hour and a half late but called before their scheduled arrival time to let me know. When they were picking up windows, they noticed a dent in one window & called me immediately to let me know, but had already taken a photo for Milgard, notified Milgard & started a claim for replacement. They installed it in the meantime because it's just a cosmetic issue.

Jeff and the entire crew were friendly, efficient and very careful with all my walls, floors, etc. Everything was covered to avoid dust and when they left you'd never know they had been here. These guys worked long and hard to give me beautiful replacement windows & I couldn't be happier with their professionalism, the install & the look of the windows

I wanted to write a review to give other homeowners the reassurance that this company cares about the work they do for their customers.

I did a ton of research prior to calling K & J to understand my needs, brands, prices, and primarily used yelp to uncover the top installers in the valley. My journey with K & J started with Tony, who has tremendous experience in the industry and provided his recommendations based on my needs and I couldn't agree more with his choice. Because  of this, and the quote I received in a timely manner that was also very competitive, it was a no brainer to go with K & J for 13 windows and a slider, which was about half of the windows in my house.

Fast forward to the install once the windows were received by K & J. I had a team, ran by Nick who all showed up on time. Nick's team consisted of four other gentlemen, Solo, Scott, Carlos, and Gary who were all very professional, efficient with their time, and you could tell they came with a lot of experience. They treated my home like it was theirs which I believe is a must when making an investment like this. They finished ahead of schedule and the windows look amazing. I couldn't be happier with the results.

I will be calling them back when it is time to complete the rest of my home. I hope this review helps others come to a decision when looking to make an investment like this to their home!

Wonderful experience from the first contact to the last! From the time Cody came out for the estimate to the final install by Nick and his crew, everything was handled professionally and kindly.

Cody helped me with the information I needed to get the new windows approved by my HOA. It took a crazy amount of time (due to the HOA approval process, NOT K & J!), but Cody kept in touch, making sure I had everything I needed, answering HOA questions, etc.

Upon approval, a final measurement was scheduled and that went off without a hitch. Installation was scheduled,  and I received a reminder call the day before. Nick and his crew (Carlos, Scott, Solo(?)) arrived on time and were ready to work.  Taking time to ensure my property was protected, helping me move furniture I couldn't move on my own, etc. They went to work and didn't stop until the job was complete. They cleaned up, and removed all the debris. They were respectful of my property and my neighbors.

I would highly recommend  K & J Windows!

I recently finished getting new windows installed from K&J. They were one of a number of different companies I contacted and who visited my home. Right out of the gate, I found K&J's sales representative, Cody, to be honest, very competent, and understanding of my needs and budget.

I have to admit I was a little concerned because K&J's rate was MUCH better than some of the other offers I received. They were around $8K less than the top bidder for my install. However, every interaction I had with their company was beyond stellar. The two gentlemen who showed up to finally install my windows were the icing on the cake. They were extremely professional, respectful of my property, and clean. They finished the job in record time, with exceptional quality, and left me with beautiful new windows that keep both the heat and sound out.

We had all our windows replaced by K&J. This is the second time we've worked with them and they did a great job both times. The crew of Nick, Solo, Scott and Gary did a fantastic job at our home. They were on time and professional. They kept us well informed of the progress and of any issues. Thanks K&J and the crew. We love our new windows!

Just an update: during the installation a window was broken. I was told at the time they would come back and fix the window with a replacement. Two weeks later we are still waiting for the repair. The repair is not done by K&J, but we are disappointed in how they are handling this situation. As their customer, we thought they would be more engaged to make sure we are satisfied. Up until now we have been very pleased, and even referred close friends to call Tony and they made a purchase from K&J. I hope their experience turns out better.

We love the windows, just disappointed in how this repair is being handled.

I actually feel sort of bad for giving this place a 3 star since they've pretty much aced yelp so far.

I will say this about buying windows for your house... it's a pain in the ass, and it can be stressful. If you're like me, you'll do some research online, talk to a place like Home Depot, call around and get a few quotes, and feel lied to a lot... Ultimately, you'll settle on someone who earns your trust the best who also comes in the cheapest.

K & J, aside from a few hiccups during the courting phase of our relationship, was great over the phone. They were willing to bend over backwards to earn my business. They weren't able to beat the lowest price I found, but they were willing to come close, and I ended up choosing them because they earned my business.

The installer came out and was really nice... good with small talk as well. He did a pretty good job too overall. I mean, all of my crappy old 70s single pane windows were replaced with efficient dual pane windows. Toward the end of the job, he made an error with the trim, and after some hemming and hawing, we settled on a resolution. He had to rip it out and re-install it. It isn't perfect, but it'll look fine after paint. Yeah, I haven't painted it yet. I'll get to it.

The mistake put him off schedule, so I think he sort of had to rush toward the end. He missed some spots with caulk, and I suppose I could be happier. I wouldn't ever ask them to come out again to change it though, and I wouldn't ask for a refund either. They did a fine job. Not necessarily exceptional, but good enough. I mean, he cut and nailed in some trim for me, and it's not really what they do.

So why the 3 stars? I feel like I was a little misled and oversold on the benefits of new windows. My electric bill has actually gone up since last year. I haven't changed the thermostat. It hasn't really been hotter. I'm not doing anything different, but my bill went up 3 out of 4 months this Summer. I replaced the back door since last year too (which used to have a giant dog door and got direct sunlight half the day), so I don't have any exterior doors or windows that aren't rated for high efficiency or whatever.

It's possible I've got a spot in my house somewhere I'm not aware of where I'm losing cool air or where heat is getting in... same could be said for your house - so don't just assume that your bill will drop by 1/3 and your new windows will pay for themselves. It's also possible something is wrong. I don't know. I do know that a cricket got in behind the trim where there was no caulk and he harassed me with cricket sounds for 3 weeks.

One thing I do like is that it's quieter in my house (aside from the crickets). New windows certainly do help with noise. Wish it kept my house cooler. If my bill didn't go up, I would have given them a 4 - possibly a 5 if things had gone a little smoother (and also just to be nice and support local business). 3 means A-OK, and I don't think it'll bring the average down, but I must be honest here. I know they are good people, and they're great with the customer service and such.

Very satisfied with K&J Windows! They exceeded expectations from the quote process to the installation.

The Installation crew was knowledgeable and professional. Nick, Solo, Scott, Carlos, and Gary worked hard and efficient. They showed up on time and finished the installation when they predicted. They kept me informed as the project progressed and walked me through any unforeseen difficulties and how they were going resolve it.

We've been getting a lot of work done in the house my husband and I recently purchased and I must say these were the easiest contractors to work with. We quoted windows with 3 different companies but Tony gave us the best price for the product we were getting. We replaced 12 windows, 2 doors, and a sliding glass door and it was all done in one day! The crew arrived on time, were friendly with my dogs, cleaned up after themselves and left before the time they said they would finish. There is a reason there are so many 5 star reviews for this company.  We had three different companies come out to give us quotes for new windows on our home and detached garage.  Tony came out and was the only representative to be honest with us that the windows on our home could be easily fixed and did not require replacing.  This immediately gave us trust that K & J was the company to go with to replace the windows and slider in our detached garage.  It was nearly a year before we actually moved forward on our project and Tony continued to follow up with us until we were ready.
The crew that came out to do the job was professional, friendly, highly skilled and overall did an amazing job.  They even came back months later to finish the trim around our slider without us even having to call to ask.
If you are considering new windows, this is the company for you.  They will guide you to making the right decision for what you need and will not try to sell you on windows you don't need.

I requested an updated quote from  K and J for replacement windows for our home on April 3rd 2019. (original quote was in July 2017). After calling and emailing their office multiple times, I received a voicemail from Tony stating that he would have my quote by Monday April 8th.
On April 5th I called Tracer window and door and Chris came by on April 9th and gave me a printed quote for my windows which I accepted on April 19th. My windows were installed on Monday May 20th and they did a terrific job. Still haven't heard from Tony or anyone at K and J. They must be too busy.

I called to get a quote scheduled and they wouldn't even schedule anything if we didn't have 3 windows that needed replaced.. all of our windows are new in our home and we were only in need of two.. I specifically asked, we only are in need of two windows, so you are unable to assist us? The associate on the phone said No, we have to have 3. I got quotes from 4 companies and the K & J quote was the best by far. In fact, at first I thought there had to be a mistake.  Cody took the time to come back over to walk me through every detail and showed me where the other companies were assuming upgrades for me that I didn't want or need.  I appreciate Cody's no nonsense, cut to the chase approach. It took me few months to pull the trigger.  Cody kept himself top of mind in my emails, but was never pushy or over the top..for that I'm grateful.  He came back over AGAIN to refresh my understanding on everything and it was a go.  The next guy in the process was the dude who came for final measurements.  I don't remember his name, but he was courteous and ALSO took the time to make sure my expectations were in line.  The wait for the product wasn't too bad and then came the day of installation. So, by this time, I'm working from home due to Covid & I'm stressing because I'm imagining that its going to loud and dusty and distracting.  Boy, was I wrong.  They installed every window in my house and 3 sliders in a matter of one day. Nick and the guys (Solo, Carlos, Scott & Gary) we so professional and efficient.  With my headphones on working, I hardly knew there were there until they got to my office window, and there seemed to be no mess during the process and they left my house cleaner than when they started!  Nick walked me through every room and we tested and discussed each window before heading out.  Guys, can I just say, my windows are beautiful compared!  I had no idea what i was missing with those old 1980's windows.  These block out the sound and the heat.  Total upgrade.  The only thing they could improve would be to provide ACH payment online.  Otherwise...solid products & service. Fast response, no hard selling, didn't try to sell me a window that didn't fit our budget or our lifestyle. We settled on the low end of their selection, which is mid range anywhere else.

Cody was great, gave an exact quote and didn't try to hustle to get my money. All other companies we called with good ratings gave us a bs sales pitch. Sale ends in 2 days, but I'm sooo busy I won't be able to get you in if your don't sign today. That's what the other guys kept telling us, and their sale price was literally DOUBLE what Cody quoted. And, they just scribbled numbers on a paper that made no sense. Funny thing is, Cody said, We're not the company that scribbles numbers on a blank sheet of paper and tries to get you to sign. Ha, cuz that's what all of them did!

Cody's quote was very detailed, and easy to understand where my money was going.

We are just waiting for yearly bonuses to be paid out to move forward. But based on the experience with others, I don't see a need to check out anyone else.

I can't say enough good things about K & J Windows. Tony was so patient and brought me several options to look at for my specific needs. He answered all my questions and gave me two quotes for the options I was deciding between. I had two other companies come out and quote the same work. K & J had the most attractive package and the most affordable rate. Then Beau and Carlos came to install. Talk about the A Team! These guys worked tirelessly to make sure that everything was perfectly installed and looking it's absolute best. Definitely ask for these two. They're professional, hard working and punctual. Also!! I meant to write this review months ago... I had K&J Windows out to replace all the windows in my home and they did a fantastic job.  From the initial consult, Cody made it an easy and informative process.  He educated us on what we needed and what we didn't need and the difference between various products and brands.  We chose the Simonton windows and they're just beautiful.  The install team was fast, professional, tidy and they did a wonderful job.  I had gotten one other quote for this project and I could tell right away that K &J was the company to go with.  I'm happy I did.  Thanks guys!

Let me start this off by saying my windows are perfect.

The installers showed up both days an hour late. The lead/head installer let us know from the very beginning that they are not supposed to work weekends and that the boss' son called in sick so I'm guessing that's why he took his time showing up. Both days they forgot materials and took a 2 hour break, but oddly enough the first day they had a caulk gun break and just decided they'd stop for the day. So I'm not sure what they forgot and needed to pick up during their 2 hour break.

Then the installer decided to discuss politics and said Muslims need to be called what they are....terrorist, while referencing a black American wearing a hijab. Now, let me note that my head had been covered both days so I was surprised he didn't just assume I was Muslim, but my husband quickly told him not to discuss politics. I think this made him wonder if I were indeed Muslim so he later asked my husband what faith we were... Again an inappropriate conversation to start.

So my 3 star rating is solely based on professionalism.

We recently had K & J do our south and west facing windows and sliders. What a great experience! I had read the reviews on Yelp and they were all so great that I had to call. From our meeting with salesman Tony until the final install of the last screen the customer service (yay Jessica) couldn't have been better. Yes, there were a couple of hiccups along the way, but everything was taken care of to our satisfaction. We love our new windows and the relief from the heat that was coming through them. What a treat to put my hand on a window in direct sun and feel cool. And they look good too! I highly recommend this company.

I'm just another homeowner that needed new windows. Of course you get all the quotes and read all the reviews so you can do whatever you can to make the best decision. After reading all the reviews for A & K Windows something tugged at me and said this is the company. Perhaps not the cheapest, but who wants to go cheap? I want a good quality product and I want it installed right. That's it!
Well that is exactly what they did. watching these guys (Nick, Solo, Scott & Carlos) install these windows was amazing. Their attention to detail and the dedication for 100% customer service was right on point. I will refer K & J Windows to everyone I know. It's clearly obvious you are doing things right! We hired K&J to replace all of our old 1960 single pane windows on our house after a consultation with Tony.  My wife was home alone to receive quotes from about 5 different contractors.  My wife felt comfortable with Tony and his personality definitely helped sell the job.

In my communication with Tony after the initial consultation and quote, he was very quick to reply every time to every question and helped come up with some different options for one of our larger windows.

K&J was not the lowest bid but Tony's service and their reputation led us to go with them.  The only negative was the length of time between the purchase and the installation which isn't their fault, it is due to the manufacturer, but it was about 4-5 weeks we had to wait.

The installation team led by Nick was awesome.  I was home that day and their crew knocked out the install in about 4 hours for 6 windows.  Nick is a great foreman and kept the job moving and was also teaching and coaching some other installers as they went which was cool to see.  

Some brick crumbled from the old window nails being removed which they quickly patched and repaired.  The windows look great and the whole time they kept covering flooring and furniture where they were working to avoid making any messes.  Nick even offered to use our vacuum to make sure there was no glass left in the carpet from one window they had to bust out to cut the frame (since they only had a shop vac which wouldn't quite do the job).  Super polite and went above and beyond with his team.  I would recommend K&J and will be having a door installed by them shortly as well!

The sales associate brought 6 or so samples, discussed the options as well as trim and we ended up saving thousands compared to the friend someone recommended. Five-Star from start to finish...even the first phone call was professional, courteous, and efficient. The process involved several contacts with Cody Eager initially who did the first estimate/walk-around, then providing a detailed and extremely thorough quote that summarized the scope of work, materials to be purchased, specs from EnergySaver such as SHGCs, U-factors, and VLT ratings, installation costs, taxes, and time-to-completion estimates. Compared to the 3 other companies I spoke with this was miles ahead. Cody then patiently negotiated some changes I suggested, providing equally detailed estimates for each proposed change. K & J came in $1500 under Window World; $2051 under Affordable Windows; and $34,651 under Renewal by Anderson. That is not a typo...Anderson's quote was just preposterous!
Step 2 involved a visit to my home by Zeb, who took the official measurements and collected the advance payment. Zeb is precise as the success of the job depends on the work he completes. Those dimensions MUST be correct and you don't find out until they are installed. No worries on that end.
The installation was on schedule and performed by crew chief Nick and his team of Solo, Scott, and Carlos. They arrived early on Memorial Day Monday, worked steady and diligently, and finished 15 windows (1 patio slider) in under 9 hours. All the window measurements were spot on and the crew was a pleasure to be around. They removed the old windows, cleaned as they went, worked quietly even with minor carpentry needed, and even helped me with some existing hardware I could not remove myself.
As I said, professional, courteous, and efficient from first contact to completion. No worries recommending K & J Windows.

We just had our entire house upgraded with new windows from K andJ.  Several neighbors had used them as well and all were pleased. I can see why because they are prompt, courteous, clean, and on target with price. We had 29 windows replaced.  Our HOA requires a certain type of installation which requires cut back of the stucco and they have a stucco guy that is amazing as well.  The entire install took less than three days with the windows and two more for the stucco.  Very, very pleased.  The house is much more quiet and very energy efficient. We used to have darkened windows and dark solar screens.  Now our house is so bright!  Our air conditioner works less because of the efficiency even with this hot May weather.  Highly recommend!

Very pleased with our new windows and our entire experience with this company. After getting 4 estimates with price ranges all over the place and disrespectful customer service at Window World, I'm glad I called K&J. Tony didn't try to oversell us. He also was very conscious of our time when he came to give us an estimate and explain the product and installation. (We have a new baby and other companies were not so accommodating.) Danielle in their office was super helpful with getting our financing details in order and went above and beyond. We were also pleased about having the installation date moved up. We asked to be alerted if installation could be moved up and sure enough they were installed nearly 3 weeks earlier than anticipated. Our windows are beautiful, our home is cooler and our air conditioning is getting to rest a little bit. I highly recommend this local company.

I found K&J via Yelp... and gave them a call. Everyone was VERY helpful & knowledgeable, helping me select the right products for my application, and the install team were very hard working and accommodating - as I have two LARGE dogs that needed to be rotated around as they worked from room to room.. An outstanding company with very skilled and professional installers, all at a very fair and competitive price. The salesman Tony was great to work with, and the installers did a fantastic job. We chose Ply Gem vinyl windows and sliding doors - great quality at a good price.
The work involved more than just routine replacements. We had ugly aluminum bay windows across the front of the house. They cut those out entirely which was a big job in itself, then replaced with beautiful double pane windows. In the master bedroom, the aluminum single pane window was removed and the back of the house cut to fit a sliding patio door. Again, a really great job with excellent workmanship. It completely changed the whole ambience of the master bedroom!
Clean-up after the work was done was amazing you wouldn't even know they were there!

My wife and I had some major remodeling done in our back yard and had been thinking about some new windows on the back elevation only.  As we considered this more we decided to get estimates for the entire house.

We met with several window companies for estimates and options.  With met with Tony L. and were very pleased with his expertise and patience with us ;)  I think we went through 5 or 6 variations which changed the proposal each time.  Tony was very accommodating and we made the decision to move forward with a whole house window replacement.  

Final measurements were taken before the order was placed and we were given an install date.  There were a few times I needed to call the office and Jessica was  very helpful and answered all our questions.  Our window installation began the EXACT DAY & TIME it was scheduled (we are painting contractors and know how difficult scheduling is so this was very impressive for us).  

They told us it would take 3 days to complete.  It took 2 3/4 days.  Zeb and his crew did a fantastic job.  The windows look great and installation went extremely well.  Window replacements aren't inexpensive.  But we are very happy we took this step as we plan on staying on our home for a very long time.

I would give my highest recommendation to K&J Windows for their sales, service, and install teams.

Wow what a great experience I had with this company! It was my first time I had to do this and had heard a lot of horror stories about other people's experience with other window companies. I found K & J in several positive reviews and decided to give them a try. From Tony the salesman that gave me good info on windows and all the numbers which was helpful for a newbie. No pressure at all just the facts. He followed up and was on time and even scheduled another meeting to help answer our questions and to see the windows again. I found the pricing and the Simonton products a great value and not disappointed at all when showed the estimate. I originally choose them for the stellar reviews on the installation process and was not disappointed. Jose and his crew were professional and did a great job. You could not tell anyone had been there when they had left. Yelonda did a great job communicating the dates and what to expect. Overall 100% satisfied with the whole experience!

Great service from start to finish!!!  Everyone involved brought their A game. We ordered four sliding glass doors for our 1970's home in North Central Phoenix. The quality of the doors and insulation was beyond our expectations.  Our home is so quiet now. We can't wait to realize the energy savings this summer.

This is my 3rd time using K&J windows so that should probably sum up everything you need to know about how I feel about them.  The first time was to replace a sliding glass door.  The first 2 sliding glass doors I replaced I used Home Depot and it was a meh experience, the second was Lowes and it was a disaster (they still haven't called me back with problems I was having with the door).  The 3rd was K&J and the quote was less than I received from Home Depot or Lowes.  Now I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for in life, so cost was not the big deciding factor.  K&J had so many good reviews I decided to try them out and I was not disappointed.

Since the initial sliding glass door install I have used K&J to replace my front door and every window in my house.  From the front office, to Tony my sales rep, and all of the installers it has been a great experience.  When you find a company like this use them and tell your friends.  They must treat their employees well because the guys are always pleasant when they come out.

Finally a big shout out to Richard, my installer.  This guy kept me informed about every step and every detail along the process.  Great craftsmanship!

We had K & J Windows replace nine windows and two french/patio doors in our home and we could not be happier with the results. The overall professionalism and workmanship by this company is top notch. We solicited bids from four window companies and found K&J to be the most professional and thorough out of all of them. Their pricing was in the mid range.

Since we had just purchased the home, we do not have any historical data to compare the potential cost savings. However, I am extremely confident there is a significant difference.  The sun and heat would bake through the original east facing windows and it would be uncomfortable to stand anywhere near them due to the heat from the sun coming through.  One of the bedrooms had both an east facing window and also a patio door. This room would begin to bake in the late morning/early afternoon.  These issues were resolved after K & J installed the new Low-E dual pane windows.  

We also had K & J install the trim around all the windows.  We were so happy with the results as they did a fantastic job.  The trim really added an aesthetic touch we were looking for.  

From the sales (Tony) to the installation (Jeb and his crew), we were extremely impressed and highly recommend K & J Windows.

We started doing our homework on window companies about a month before we decided on the company. It was a no brainer for us picking K & J Windows over the competition and we are so glad we went with them. Tony our sales rep was great. He was very knowledgeable and he covered everything with us so that making our decision wasn't hard. Tony didn't come into our home and try hard sell us which we greatly appreciated. He is so good at his job he doesn't have to hard sell you.  We had Tony educate us on the high end priced windows and the middle of the road windows and we went with the in between. The process from start to finish was very painless. We ordered 25 windows and the installation only took 2 days. Pricing of the windows and installation was great. Nick and his install crew were outstanding, cleaned up after they were done inside and out. The crew were polite, professional and from watching them I could tell they had worked to gather a long time and they definitely knew what they were doing. This was a very good experience for us and I recommend K & J, Tony, Nick and his crew without any hesitations at all.

I almost forgot we love the windows, our A/C runs less, house is so much quieter, don't need our sun screens anymore (love the fact we don't need the screens ) and our dust in the house has gone away. Can't believe how much cleaner the house stays. You will not go wrong going with K & J Windows.

Ok, so, I didn't even use this company and I would refer them 100 times over. I have been calling around because a dual pane window had gotten broken and all other competitors were quoting prices to replace the whole window. Not one of them said that just the single piece of glass can be replaced in a dual pane.
Until I called this company and spoke to Kyle. He said the whole window didn't have to be replaced, just call a glass company and they will replace the glass alone.
I called them and literally was half the cost.
I am so pleased to find an honest company these days that aren't trying to make the money and not care about the customer at all.

Very nice dealing with this company for the replacement of my 12 windows, sliding glass door and French doors. Installation looks perfect. There were some scratches on the window frames and they came out and buffed out the scratches and also replaced two window screens that were scratched. Excellent customer service!

I researched a ton of places and had 7 come out to the house before I picked K&J.  It was the right choice - I am very pleased with the price, quality, customer service, and the cleanliness after install.  Every person I dealt with from sales to install was helpful and professional.  We replaced original windows from the 50's (!) and although the removal was difficult the guys were very careful to pick up all the glass outside.  5 stars all around.

I was interested in replacing a few windows and reached out to multiple companies for a quote.  After speaking with K&J Windows, I knew I had to go with them.  They were detailed and informative.  After speaking with them on the phone for 20-30 minutes, they helped me reach the conclusion that replacing my windows at this time was probably not a good decision.  And if I did want to do it, they gave me directions on how I could replace them myself.  Who does that?!  This further reinforced my belief that K&J Windows were the best windows providers and installers in the valley.

Even though I didn't replace my windows at this time, I will in the future.  And when I do, K&J Windows will be the first guys I call.

After contacting several window installation retailers, most of which had high Yelp reviews, for quotes, we choose K&J Windows for several reasons. K&J Windows was the only retailer who kept their appointment and their integrity with their quote. We were initially contemplating replacing only 2 windows that were broken. Darrell Sutton came by to provide a quote and did a great job. We appreciated his professionalism, punctuality, and knowledge, which is why we chose your company. Darrell explained the technology behind their products and explained the installation process. He measured all of our windows to provide us with quotes not only for 2 windows but all in case we decided to replace them all.

After realizing the benefit we opted to replace all the windows. We called their office to schedule the installation, initially there was a waiting list of months! After expressing our urgency in replacing our old, paper thin windows from 1985, Danielle was able to work with the installation crew and schedule us for installation within weeks.

When the installation crew arrived they too were professional, efficient, and cleaned up after the project. They had enough manpower to finish installing 13 windows in one day.
Now that the windows are installed, we can honestly feel how much cooler the house feels. We are waiting to see our next electricity bill to measure the savings. We are so appreciative of their good work that we already recommended K&J Windows to some of our neighbors.

I have wanted to upgrade my windows for at least 5 years. I read all the different reviews for window companies. Thus I chose K & J based on all these comments, I am just in the beginning of my experience, I made a request for service on Saturday, asking not to be called prior to 11 am. I received a call back on Monday at noon, to make my appointment. So nice they paid attention to the comments I made. I just met today, Tuesday, with Cody. Very pleasant, no nonsense kinda sales rep, Awesome. He was here about 20 min, measured my windows, made some smart suggestions. Educated me, the uneducated on windows. I now will wait to see what kind of quote I receive. I know it will cost me a good amount. I hope I do not start hyperventilating. To be continued. I got my quote from Danielle within 3 hours of Cody's visit, this place is great. The quote was totally under what I thought it would be. I did not hyperventilate at all. I sent a reply back, now I wait for the next act.
I received a call to schedule my install date, it is 4 weeks out, May 12th  
I then got a call to come out and recheck the measurements on the windows and give them half the payment. That is on for This Wed April 13. So far so good.
John just got here to do the final check on the windows and found out, Cody only measured 8 of them instead of 9. No big deal, it is my living room window. So it will cost me a tad more, but that is understandable. Let us see what happens now. The next appointment I have is installation day May 12th. I also asked John about a computer desk I have in front of one of the windows. He said that he and his partner will help to move it out of the way on May 12th. They do not need a whole lot of room to move around. That is great cause it is heavy to move. I like John very professional no nonsense. I like that in a company.
April 15th.  Wow all I can say is Wow, I received an email from Cody that said since it was his error, that I would get the 9th window included in my original price quote. That is above and beyond what I expected. This is a wonderful experience so far. Now I can't wait for May 12th
It is now May 12th, all I can say is wow, these guys are great.  John and Julio showed up at 8:30 am they were done at 4:15 pm. Beautiful job. No fuss no Hassle the windows are as clean and beautiful as I imagined. When they were all done I made a comment to John about hoping I would not hear the kid across the street playing his drums. John said well he is playing them right now.I could not hear it at all. I was in the front room straight across the street from the blooming drummer. Thank you to K & J Windows. We had nine new windows installed yesterday and I couldn't be happier.  I'll admit I'm a very particular consumer which is what I told Tony the K&J sales rep when he arrived at my home.  I stressed that I didn't want any of the original brick surrounding the windows chipped or broken when the old crank out windows were removed.  I knew this was possible since I had replaced three windows myself without damage a few years ago.  I knew how much work it would be to remove and install nine and I wanted it done before the holidays.  K&J Windows was the right choice.
Tony was very helpful navigating through the choices available and explained the pro's and con's of various products.  After just an hour or so, I made my selections.  I was given a date to expect delivery and installation and much to my surprise, the crew showed up at 8:00am as expected with all the windows loaded on their trailer.  One of crew immediately began removing the old windows while the other two began placing the new windows in the right places.  
Before I knew it, the windows were installed, the guys cleaned up after themselves and loaded all the old windows onto the trailer for disposal.  They even went as far as to caulk around the outside of the windows I installed but I never finished the task.  All I had to do was ask and without hesitation it was done.
One huge difference my family noticed to our home which we hadn't thought of was how quiet our neighborhood suddenly became!  I can't get over the difference.  Secondly, we turned the furnace off while the crew was here and forgot to turn it on when we went to bed.  We slept comfortably all night and didn't even turn the heat on this morning.  All that hype about energy efficient windows being a good investment apparently isn't hype after all.
K&J Windows is the real deal.  It's not often that I would take the time to right a review like this for a company I may never need again.  I've written this in part for the consumers who are looking for a company that delivers without compromise.  Give Tony at K&J a call.  You won't regret it.

When they visit your home for the first time, it's simply an informative visit then they leave and send you a quote later. After reading my review, they contacted me to apologize for the trim issue. They said the trim didn't come in white and that should have been communicated better. They wanted to come out and paint the trim white.

Like I said before, it wasn't a huge deal, but I was very impressed by how serious they took this. They are very concerned with 100% customer satisfaction and I couldn't be happier with my new windows and the attentiveness of K and J staff.

We selected KJ to bid our windows and sliding doors. The quality and price of the windows we purchased were great.  They completed our fairly large job in one day.  There were a couple of minor communication issues during install, but were quickly corrected.  The reason we didn't give all five stars is because the crew left broken glass and a lot of plastic caps that were cut off the caulking tubes in our front rock landscape.  It's been 8 months and we are still finding plastic caps and glass bits.  But other than that, I will definitely use them again and we've referred them to others that have been happy too.

I highly recommend this company. Had all windows in home replaced. Outstanding customer service, timely, reasonable price & great follow though.  Salesman Toni was wonderful answering all questions, Jessica & other office staff very efficient & responsive.  Nick, Solo & Dan the installers were on time, cleaned everything up, plus windows.  Nick immediately recognized a problem with kitchen window & explained issue to us. He took pictures, called the office regarding problem & that same day Milgard called to arrange date to replace the defective window issue.  The communication factor & follow though alone makes this company worth more stars than 5. Office staff also suggested I not pay in full, but remaining balance for cost of kitchen window will be completed once new one is installed. That also was impressive.

Spent about 3 weeks interviewing window company's from town. Had a good feeling after meeting with the owner, Darin and was able to get the pricing right for the 11 windows we replaced.

Install was great and Chris and his crew were professional and did a great job. The windows look great and hopefully they will make a difference with heating and cooling costs, as that would be a bonus. Will use them again when we change out more windows in the future.

I called these guys and they informed me that I would be better with a trade partner of theirs as they primarily replace all the windows in the home as opposed to repair windows. I had a great experience with K & J.  I did the yelp research and found several great options.  I then got three estimates to install 5 new windows at my house.  K & J were the first to come out and their rep was great.  He answered all of my questions and emailed me the estimate.  I sent the measurements he gave me to the other two companies and they gave me estimates as well.  The estimates weren't exactly apple to apple comparisons, as each company approaches labor costs a little differently, but K & J was very competitive.  Since the estimates were about even, I wanted to give K & J the business.  I asked if they would come down a bit and they gave me a 10% discount, which was nice and unexpected.  
A few days before the installation appointment, a rep called to tell me that they ordered the wrong color (white instead of tan), which is an honest mistake.  However, they offered me a $500 discount if I wanted to go with the white rather than reschedule for weeks later, so I said sure!  I thought this was a nice gesture and totally made up for their mistake.  All in, I paid about $1900 for the 5 windows.  The windows look great and have made a huge difference in my comfort and noise levels in the house.  I will use this company again if I need them.

I had 3 other companies bid the job before talking to K&J and when they came out, there was just no comparison. Darin, Chris and the rest of the team were without question, the most knowledgeable and up-front company in the mix.

They take pride in their work and it shows. The job was completed on time and the 2 floor-to-ceiling windows and slider look amazing.

Thanks to the Yelp reviewers, I found K&J Windows to replace my double entry doors.  Tony showed up on time with lots of information and catalogs to choose from. He had every detail covered. I had another door guy come Dov but he was unprepared and didn't even call back as promised.  Back to K&J: We chose the doors, Zeb showed up and took measurements and installers Mike and Ryan did a professional job. There is always a glitch in replacing old with new and those two knew exactly how to tackle the glitch and the installation is perfect. They even added grout to an exposed area on our threshold.  Definitely recommend this professional company!

Honestly, I could not have been more pleased with my decision to go with K&J. They were not the first nor the last bid I recieved, but they were by far the company that made me feel the most at ease with the project I wanted done. I replaced all 11 (50+ year old) windows in my home and I am so pleased with the quality of the window and the work, and K&J was able to keep the overall asthetic of my old ranch home while giving it a HUGE upgrade.

Cody was the best. He gave me an itemized and specific quote within 24 hours of his visit to my house. He responded to my emails when he was on vacation and even responded to an email I sent significantly after business hours the night before the install because I was worried about a few things - all of which he addressed and set my mind at ease.

The professionalism and low pressure sales that was displayed by K&J was so vastly different than the big commerical orange company I had recieved my original quote from - which not to mention was close to 25% more than K&Js quote for the same project with a far lower quality window. Nick and all others on the instasll crew were also great. Everyone was on time, professional, and their customer service has been nothing short of awesome thus far. I RARELY write reviews on yelp, only for the very very best and the very very worst, and K&J is definitely the former. I used yelp to find K&J and the 5-star ratings are well deserved. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

I found them through Yelp, and they performed well.
I was remodeling and had to replace 17 windows with new framed out, larger sized windows, bnut we had to match our original 18 year old metal frames.  I found the salesman,Tony, to be very knowledgeable about alternatives, he found a good match.  We discussed the disadvantages of the old metal framed windows energy wise, again Tony was very knowledgeable and helpful.  We had our own framer, but they installed and did a good job.  I am very pleased with the entire transaction.

When we bought our house in 2010 we knew one of the things we'd need to do was replace ALL of the windows and the front door.  The old windows were ill fitted and not at all energy efficient.  We waited about a year and a half and then went in to K&J windows.  

We met with Darren who was so knowledgeable and helpful.  Darren helped us figure out exactly what we needed without pressuring us to go with something additional.  He explained everything to us including the cost and helped us decide which windows we should go with.  Darren also helped us order our front door.  It's a gorgeous door and we are so happy with the result!  

We ordered our windows and door -  they arrived quickly and were amazing.  Once installed they have made the biggest difference in our house and we could not be happier.  I will not hesitate to go back to K&J windows should I ever need another window.

From start to finish the salesman Tony was great, the estimator confirming sizes, staff in the office and to the installers Nick, Adam and Carlos were EXCELLENT. We replaced all windows and oversized sliding doors. Tony gave us a great price. The estimator to confirm sizes worked a plan for our renovation to fit perfect into the kitchen, we changed window sizes. The installers arrived early and were very professional, thoroughly cleaned all of their work debris and hauled away everything. I would recommend this company for new or replacement windows. Milgard misread one of the written measurements for a tiny window that came in too big. The installers called it in and before they were finished at our home, the office was already calling to let me know they already reordered the correct size window. We used Yelp to select who would be installing our windows. K & J Windows had the most and best rated Yelp reviews for 2016 so we called them for a quote.  Tony came out and provided a review of windows and installation.  The frames of the old windows would be covered with new channel frames minimizing damage to the existing window openings and keeping the mess to a minimum.  That sounded great and we had all windows quoted (11 total) at a cost of $11,000+. We decided to begin with the six most critical reducing the cost to $6,000+.   We were advised to remove anything breakable and the crew would provide any other protection needed. A two man crew arrived late due to traffic and began to tear out a large bay window in the master bedroom. They laid down some tarps and proceeded to tear out the old window frame back to the drywall. Much more extensive demo than we were led to believe but John, the lead installer, made a comment that you never know what you are going to find until you tear into a window made sense and at this point we were committed to get the old window out and the new, Simonton, window in. Six windows took the entire day (actually four windows and two sliding doors).  The window box in the kitchen was a real mess.  At one point John was outside using a sawsall while his helper stood in the kitchen with a leaf blower blowing the dust and debris out the window.  Man, what a mess that made.  Finish work around the frames was left to last so it was very late when the finish work began.  The finish work reflected a 10+ hour work day. Given the hour and the mess, we did not do a thorough inspection until the following morning. Finish work is at best a 3 and dust was in every nook and cranny throughout the house.  We love the windows but the mess it left was very upsetting to my wife. She is a fastidious housekeeper and will not let anyone clean other than herself. It took her a good week to go through every dish, pot, pan, drawer, books and bookcases, picture frames and floor in every room of the house to get the mess cleaned up. When we called to authorize payment we expressed out dissatisfaction with not having been provided fair warning of the mess this undertaking would require and offer fair warning here to anyone who is considering window replacement. Simonton windows are very nice and we believe the investment was worth it but be prepared for some serious clean up once they are in.

Best contractor we've ever worked with. Why? Thorough, knowledgeable, flexible, and patient in helping us choose the right product. I never felt rushed. Excellent at setting expectations, then exceeding them. And by far the cleanest and most professional install experience we've ever had. Big box guys might have started out a little lower on price, butI have no doubt  the product and service we received were superior. And based on the few surprises our 1970s home threw at us, no doubt we would have spent more in the end. Cody and Chris were great problem solvers and owned every step of the process. I was impressed right til the end when they wouldn't bill us until the hfollow up items were completed and the last bit of caulk went down. Truly impressive and much appreciated - we will definitely be back!

When it comes to sourcing home repairs, I always consult yelp and the other place with the K.  :)  And, I don't think I've been steered wrong yet! This place had such amazing reviews, I figured I couldn't miss.

But, miss I did.  :(  I called, and spoke to a very courteous guy (that's the reason they even get two stars).  I said I have a kitchen picture window that needed replacement.  He said the job was too small to send out an estimator, and told me to take pics and measurements, send them along, and they would reply with a quote.  Fine, I figured if they didn't need to see the window for a firm quote, it must be a very small project, and therefore, very small $$$ for me.  Yeah.  :)

I received the quote a few hours later, which was as promised.  However, price for the window replacement?  $3k.  

Seriously?  $3k is a small enough job so they can't be bothered to even assess the project in person?   Business must be good.  lol

But, definitely didn't work for me.  

Pity, because as I decided to have this one window done, I realized I had a few others that also had gotten moisture in the double pane, and I wanted them replaced as well.  Perhaps if they had the interest in coming out for my *tiny* $3,000.00 job, they could have sold me on the other windows as well.

We have been thoroughly impressed with the service, follow-up and attention to detail from these guys. They definitely stand out in a really good way. Think about all the shoddy contractor interactions you've had in Phoenix and forget it - these guys are absolutely top-notch all the way from the reasonably priced bid to the insistence that we don't pay until our warranty issue is resolved. True pros!!

This company is amazing! I shopped for Windows on line and the big box stores. While the price was not the cheapest they were not the most expensive and when we compared the price and quality we were getting with K&J and the install it was comparable (only off by a few hundred dollars) The quality of install and willingness to help when there were issues with our GC was nothing short of spectacular. The Windows were inspected prior to being installed there were a few with defects and Danielle immediately let us know and ordered replacements. We never had to ask for the job to be done right it was right every step of the way! Zeb and the install team were great!  You can not pay enough for the customer service the company provides- knowing what I know now and my experience with K&J I would never go with another company!

Tony came out and found a roof leak effecting my windows!!!  I fixed that first and had four HUGE windows replaced.  The location of the windows would have made any installer cringe--close to a hot tub and the other in a narrow alley way.  They never complained, were VERY clean in and out.  He said I would love the windows and I do!!  Seriously, they block the heat from coming in, do not allow the a/c from escaping, and dont require sun screens.  Totally worth it.  I am saving up to replace all the windows in the house now.

Every step in the window replacement process with this company was great.  From the original appointment with Cody (he was on-time, organized, and provided a detailed estimate) to the follow-up with the office to confirm installation, to the actual work of installing 17 windows and a patio slider, everything went well.  Nick and the installation crew were on-time, professional, organized, and very tidy, cleaning up after themselves.  I'm very happy with the finished product.

If your looking for a quality window supplier at a fair price and complete satisfaction, you need to consider this business. No pressure. Cody (General Manager) was very friendly and considerably knowledgeable in explaining the quality and features of their product line. Chris  the Lead Installer did a pre-measurement at the site for the windows being replaced. The final installed cost was very reasonable  knowing this business had its own installers, and we would be dealing directly with them on any installation or manufacturer warranty issues.
At the time of installation, the installers arrived on time and completed their work in a timely manner cleaning up after themselves. We had a final walk-thru and everything was installed to our complete satisfaction. We have more windows that need future replacement, and will definitely use this business at that time.

Other estimates came up with..your doors are custom $$$ ..we can replace but $$$..here's our cost $$$...yada yada...When Tony from K&J Windows came to our home..every word he said was sensible and the cost was reduced because Tony thought about our custom sized replacement French doors and came up with a solution. A line of windows & doors that they install (good quality Simonton) that could still be considered a STOCK size. This, fortunate for us reduced the price significantly. It was so good we almost thought it was too good to be true! Just as he said from the second we said YES to our order, to the scheduling and to the install..there was not one kink, question or problem. The installers (John & his brother) were prompt & worked extra long to do our job in one day! With their respectfulness to our home, the cleanliness and their skill ..well let me say we are so proud and happy to have our new sliding patio doors. The quality, the ease, the retrofit on the install in our old 1980's replacement worked. Even with the surprise that our old french door were built into the old frame of an old imbedded slider they did what was necessary to bring things up to par ..they went above and beyond to do our job as if it was there own home. Recently had  the original windows replaced in our home built in the late 1950's. K and J came highly recommended. We talked to just one other company. There was no comparison.

This project was the smoothest home improvement project we've experienced. Cody and crew are confident in their products and take pride in their craftsmanship.

We were told there might be some touch painting to do, there was none.

We love the windows and can already tell the difference.

Cody took the time to explain everything, gave an accurate cost and we booked a date to get our new windows! Richard and his crew (Vern and Andrew) did an awesome job with installation. They were polite, honest, efficient and did a great job! I'm 6 months pregnant with a very active 16 month.....they moved all the furniture and did an amazing job cleaning up. They were all awesome with my little guy, saying hi back to him after the 1,000 times he said it to them! :) Such a great company with a great sales and installation team! Doing a super remodel in North Scottsdale in a million plus home. Most windows needed to be replaced as well as sliders, two doors, and we created new large custom four panel slider for the great room. Our contractor suggested K&J Windows as they were a company he had worked with on numerous jobs. The Sales Rep, Joe Golden came out on two or more occasions,(I was still living in Denver at the time, I know of two occasions).  We were quoted May 9, 2017 for Milgard Essence, (top of the line), with a stainable interior so to match the other finishes being used in the home. Time line was described to me personally as 4-6 weeks, and if lucky, maybe three. This was appealing because with all new interior features, we could not proceed until the windows were in. Mid August the windows came in part. We were told some came in wrong, some came in damaged. The problems were described to us as problems with the manufacturer.   Once the windows were installed, they left them incomplete, with damage to stucco and interior walls, as well as white screens for our dark stained windows, and wrong size screens. We had to pay extra for the finishing as K&J said that was not something they were responsible for, due in part to the preparation of our contractors, huh? Hello, open walls, make it work. Since speaking with people in the area, their windows were a complete package, installation, finishing, and any stucco/dry wall issues were included in their price. The windows were in horrible shape when I saw them, filthy, no screens, silicone from the install all over the tracks, which when we sanded our new patio, the sand stuck horribly. It is now The end of November. We finally got someone to come out, I was not told they would be there until at my door when I was not home. (No pre call from K&J, my contractor told me they would be out that day, but finally after 4:00, and no call, I gave up and left the house). I did give them permission to go through the back to look at the windows and was told they can not be fixed as they don't have any of the parts and will be back early next week to fix them. Of course they haven't showed. We had a house full for Thanksgiving, no functioning screens, ( still completely missing 4 or 5), flies all over the house and our food, screens literally falling on the ground when guests unknowingly tried to open and close. This has been a nightmare, so bad in fact, that they took some money off the 30k + price tag for not being complete after 6 months, trust me not nearly enough, I would have gladly paid the entire bill to get new, beautiful, and functioning completed windows. I have never personally received a call from the owner, or any management at K&J. My contractor keeps telling me they are promising to fix this window fiasco, but, again  we are now going on 7 months with no finished product. I do not usually leave reviews, but, am hoping my terrible experience will not be repeated on unknowing consumers.  Maybe there is more to the story that I have not been told, again, where is my phone call from the owner?  I continue to wait, and wait, and wait...... if I could give zero stars I would.

We had K&J to our house to replace some old windows from the 1950s. The energy savings are impressive. The quality of windows and the install were both excellent. I highly recommend K&J to all of my friends and family. The installers were prompt, answered all my questions and kept the work area clean. K&J Windows did an outstanding job for us from start to finish for an older condo project where the views mean everything - so windows are critical.  Darin was thorough and informative on our options, and made the pricing right.  The install team had to take on some unique logistical challenges just to reach the hill-top location, and they made it happen with no issues - or extra $.  They finished in two days, and the results are amazing.  If you want a company that will invest their time and energy to make sure you are thrilled with your results - then make sure and talk to K&J windows from the start.

Awesome window company. I shopped around and finally decided to pull the trigger with K&J. Darren (the owner) was a super nice guy. He took a sincere interest in my project, made some great recommendations, and his quote was considerably much lower than what many other companies wanted to charged me for the same windows. The whole transaction was super smooth. Everything was on time, and the installer got my windows done in 4 hours. By the way, I chose Cascade brand windows and they seem great. They look really good, in my opinion and although they're not the best windows ever they are still a massive improvement over the old steel casement windows I had before.

I just had all the windows in my house replaced by K & J Windows in Phoenix. From initial phone call and then talking to Darin in their showroom, this company is top notch in customer service and professionalism. I was recommended the Simonton DaylightMax (7300) window and I am very happy with them. They are LoE energy efficient and should cut down on the A/C bill. The installation team did a great job in removing the old windows and installing the new ones, with great attention to detail and making sure the job was done right. I highly recommend K & J for your window needs.

I have had my windows for 3 years.  A year ago a few of the windows began to leak.  I called KJ out to look at and was told this was normal by one of their employees to cover his hide.  I was very frustrated and went to the manufacture who in turn contacted the owner.  Come to find out the management of KJ never knew about the issues I was having because of a bad apple in their ranks.  Once the owner Darrin and manager Cody found out they went into high gear to evaluate, understand and come up with a game plan to fix the issues.  One window even had to be removed and replaced.  They covered all of the paint and other items which they repaired and made sure they left the site better than how they had found it.  They went the extra mile with repairing the issues and making sure I was totally satisfied and would only leave them a glowing recommendation.  Three months ago this would have been an ugly review and one star because of one bad apple.  Thankfully they stood behind their work which is a rare commodity these days.  I highly recommend them from the original work and especially how they stepped up to fix a three year old issue.

My wife and I like a quality product, good prices, and exception service.  We had that experience with K&J Windows.  I took care of the economics.  My wife was and is the arbiter of style and appearance.  We had 3 vendors quote on replacing all of the windows in our 25 year old home.  Anderson, Sears and K&J.  Anderson and Sears presentations were similar and their prices were within 10%. Cody of K&J was a welcome exception to the other salespeople.  He took the information, and sent the proposal by email two days later. No pressure.  We had ALL of windows and a door replaced by K&J with a top of the line manufacturer for several thousand dollars less than Anderson/Sears quoted for doing HALF of the home.  Summary- Big difference in price, same quality, and an EXCEPTIONAL installation team.

Tomorrow will be a better day with new windows and doors from K&J Windows. I am very happy with the service I received from K&J. They were very helpful in helping me choose the right windows and doors for my home. I have three sliding doors and am thrilled that I can open the drapes for the view and not have warm windows. I purchased 8 windows from K & J and they were installed in June.  Darren was most helpful in my selection and showed excellent knowledge of the product.  He also was able to help me out in finding service in other trades.  Cory, Darren, and all his staff were professional with no BS.
Another major window outlet tried to pressure me into an immediate decision with a car sale tactic of a supposed discount that I would loose if I didn't make an decision that day, I told them that I had other bidders to see and made arrangements for a later bid after others.  They came in over $500 more for the same windows and when I told them so offered to beat any valid bid by $50.  I chose to deal with a company that had been honest and upfront from the start.  I am very pleased with my decision.

KJ windows came to installed a patio door and windows in our house. Great experience. I called four vendors and they all gave me the bids. I also did a lot of research on windows before I picked KJ windows. what I learned from my research is that the windows price can have a big range even with same energy rating and figure. We were quote about 100 per window to about 300 per window from different vendor and different window. It all depends on what you want. You get for what you pay for. The reason I picked KJ windows is they made me feel comfortable. The sale person Angela explain everything clear and no pressure from her. The installer Chris did a fantastic job on the windows and door. They left no mess behind and finish the job on time. I am very happy with my choice.

Everything from start to finish was a breeze. Each employee we came in contact with was of the utmost professionalism, and we never felt like we were getting the run around as we did with other window companies we quoted out. Installation was quick & easy, and the installer cleaned up everything perfectly. The windows themselves all look great, and our new sliding door is a dream! My husband and I decided our home needed a window update our home had the original windows from back in the 70's when it was built.
We have 3 sliders, a 5ft, 6 ft, and an 8 ft plus 6 windows of various sizes.
Tony came out to do our estimate and was very knowledgable and very nice to deal with, He sent us our estimate via email within a day or two and it was very detailed with the window measurements as well as the cost of each window. We did ask him to make a change and it as done right away.
We did get 3 other estimates one from the big box stores and 2 other independent companies. I will say the women from the big box store was very nice but the estimate was beyond high..
The one independent I did not like at all his estimate sheet was very unprofessional and when we told him his estimate was more than another company he asked who it was and when we told him he began bad mouthing  that company. Right than and there we asked him to leave, a professional does not do that. I can't remember the other.
We decided on k and J not because they were the cheapest but because they were the most professional , they have a quality product for a good price. Our windows were ordered and and put in when they said they would be. It takes about 3-4 was for the order to arrive. Our windows  were put in this past November. Our home looks so much better and is a lot quieter now that we no longer have single pane windows.
I would highly recommend them if you are looking for window and doors.

Tony was great, did not try to up sell me into things I did not need. We needed bronze aluminum to match our existing windows, no problem. The quote was less than my contractor could get from the factory. Install was perfect.  Now my contractor is a K & J customer.  I will use K&J on the my new office building.

After a move from New Mexico to Phoenix and the purchase of a house in need of remodeling and new windows, both my son and myself decided to hire K&J Windows for replacement Simonton windows in June. We had visited other places locally, no big box stores though as I prefer to hire local companies if I can, it was obvious that K&J Windows were pros and incredibly professional.
We met Cody first in the showroom who showed us a type of windows from Simonton that could work for my son's house then sent us Tony to measure, give us his opinion and finally e-mail us an estimate.
The cost was very reasonable and the Simonton replacement windows sounded perfect so we decided to order 7 of them. Tony was extremely helpful. Chris the head installer came to take the final measurements and installed in no time. I was still at the time in New Mexico but my son was quite impressed with everyone and the final product looks fantastic.
In September it was my turn to move to Phoenix and after the purchase of my own house again in need of renovation and new windows, of course we immediately called Tony to come measure all the windows in the house for an estimate. He gave us a really good deal for 25 windows of the best quality by Simonton. Those are slightly different from my son's house since they are thicker yet do not cut the view of the lake the house is fronting. The result is unreal. It was amazing that the 25 windows were installed in 3 days by a wonderful crew led by Chris of course and that when they left the house looked like it always had those fabulous windows without any disruption to the outside paint or stucco!

The service and attention to detail we have had from everyone at K&J Windows is exceptional. Jessica is always so cheerful and helpful on the phone, Tony is a gem, he gave me excellent advice even if his own interest and that of the company would have been to sell me something bigger like a large sliding door window, he suggested to keep the same window opening as before to obtain the best unobstructed lake view. Tony really takes the customer's interest at heart and I am so glad I took his advice and ordered the suggested windows.
Chris as the lead installer is also very personable and explains the entire process going the extra mile to please the customer and makes sure there is no stress involved. His crew is top notch with always a smile and an unequaled work ethic.

I don't seem to find enough superlatives to describe the level of professionalism, cleanliness and readiness to make the entire process easy for a picky client like myself that those guys have demonstrated during our 2 houses installs.

My neighbors keep admiring the beautiful windows when they pass our house, the house has truly been transformed by the Simonton windows from K&J Windows.

I am still awaiting with excited anticipation the installation of a new entrance door and 3 other secondary doors. All the costs are so reasonable, the entire experience so painless and I am such a very HAPPY, ecstatic customer!

I wouldn't even loose my time inquiring anywhere else, this company is the best I have had to deal with and I recommend them with all my heart because I am thoroughly impressed by their employees, products and services. They can't be beat!

Hurry and call them when you are ready for a big house transformation.

Courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and OUTSTANDING communication and customer service.  My initial experience was with Tony in sales.  He showed up on time and was patient, professional, and explained to me the different products available and their benefits without pressure or trying to upsell or oversell me.  I was invited to their showroom to finalize my decision where I met Cody, Jessica, and Darin.  They are all great.  Once the order was placed Cody kept me in the loop on the progress and an installation date was set.  The windows and door I ordered came in on time and were installed as scheduled.  Patrick, the installer, did an absolutely fantastic job on the installation.  I could not be happier with the results and I would not hesitate to use them again.  I highly recommend K & J Windows!

We got numerous quotes from different window companies. We even had a different company put in a new sliding patio door. When their customer service after the door was installed was less than desirable we decided to find a different company to install new windows and the other sliding glass door. After checking Yelp for reviews of different window companies we decided to go with K&J due to the great reviews we read.  They acutally were also close to the lowest price range.  We couldn't be more satisfied with the product and the company. The installers, Richard, Andrew and Vern were awesome.  Richard went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with the finished product and the cleanup after installation was spotless.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone.  From first contact with them to the end of installation they were professional and considerate and very informative through every step.

Looked at several window companies when the time came to replace all my single pane windows and the 2 doors leading to the patio.  Darin came out measured, showed me some options and even made a suggestion for changing the configuration in the front bay window.  It was a large slider, flanked by 2 solid panes and Darin suggested making the large a solid pane with sliders on the sides.  Cost would be a little less and we'd have an unobstructed view.  He also came out a second time when my SO was available, which was much appreciated.  Chris came out for measuring and was the lead installer.  They arrived on-time, found & replaced some damaged wood, pointed out other areas of potential water issues, and finished the job on-time.  Job site was cleaned as were the new windows & doors, which came out beautiful.  So glad we took Darin's suggestion on changing the bay configuration; it's really awesome!   Thanks to all!

We were extremely impressed with the workmanship and service K & J Windows delivered.  Reasonable price, great staff and quality work.  Cody from sales was always available and responsive with our needs; installation team lead by Coby did an awesome job.  They were efficient and always cleaned up after themselves.  Team had to cramp 3 days work into 2 days due to delay of shipment; they work long hours to meet the promised deadline.  I highly recommend K&J Windows if you need window work; support our local vendors!!

Great company and service.  Darin, Cody, and all the installers did a wonderful job.  I wish i hadn't waited so long to get them. I've seen a significant reduction in my APS bill over the past year; whose budget plan goes down in the summer?? Mine!!  The house is much quieter as we don't hear the street noise either. You can't go wrong with this company.

When I was changing out my mom's windows I was looking for energy efficient windows. Working with K & J Windows, they helped me find vinyl replacement windows that were best suited for my mom's home. Their  service was great, prices competitive, and  they were very  knowledgeable and friendly. They were  just overall great to work with and I would  highly recommend them!

I am SO happy that I have found K&J windows when I was looking for a company to replace my old single pane windows! Right from the first point of contact you deal with caring and professional people. It was a pleasure dealing with Tony - the salesman - who was knowledgeable and no pressure tactics here....what a difference! I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable quote and the install team continued to exceed my expectations. Right on time every time, from measuring to installation date. Courteous and friendly and  it is obvious that they know what they are doing! They took great care in removing my old, and installing my new windows, and when they left, it was like nothing had happened at all! No mess, and they even moved my stuff back (to their exact spots I might add). I live in a townhouse and quite a few people here had replaced their windows. Looking at them now, I can tell you that my installation job is by far the best and most professional looking. I am definitely spreading the word about your company, even to those who do not want to hear about replacing windows :)

We have a 1950's red brick house that had original single pane casement windows with some amazing corner windows. It was very important to us that we keep the look of the neighborhood and impact the corners as little as possible.  I read the reviews here which was the main reason I'd called K&J in the first place. I had had at least 4 quotes from others including Anderson Renewal (they were ridiculous) so I'm not one to just take the first bid. I asked that they send someone that knows what they're doing, they took me seriously and sent their manager - and he did know what he was doing. He gave me several options and even talked me out of a couple of ideas that I had that wouldn't have worked anyway. when all was said and done it wasn't the cheapest quote, but what it was, was exactly everything we wanted. We preserved the look of the neighborhood and the house is now so air-tight it's a model of efficiency!  Thanks Cody!

After trying to find a custom door for weeks, with many door and window companies in AZ I was about to give up.  Nobody was interested in returning my calls.  Then, luckily, I found Darin and Luke at K and J.  They were accomodating and were willing to do anything to help me solve the door problem.  A few phone calls and e-mails later we had the design, a price and shortly thereafter an install date.  The door was installed on 5/2/13, on time and as scheduled.  Perfect!  Easy to do business with people who care about their customers.  I would not hesitate to recommend K and J for all your window and door needs.

After searching around review websites, I decided to get an estimate from K&J Windows.  They were the first business I spoke to; right away, I knew I didn't need to check into any others.  And, I was right!  They were easy to work with, and so professional.  This is a business that makes you feel important, right from the start.  No over-worked sales pitch - just honest, helpful information - clean and simple.  They did a fabulous job - were timely, clean, considerate, and made sure to follow up on our satisfaction.  Even the neighbors were impressed!  I highly recommend them.

My wife and I recently moved to Phoenix and purchased a house that was in desparate need of new windows.  After doing some online research, we found K and J windows.  Darin, the owner of the business, travelled to our house and was able to clearly outline the differences in the products they offered.  We had received multiple bids on the work and were finding out most of the businesses couldn't offer the type of customer service we were wanting.  Ultimately, we ended up going with K and J and we're so GLAD we did!  The customer service throughout was exceptional--so exceptional, we decided to purchase a door as well.  When the windows came in, Chris came to install them and his expertise truly came to light.  The windows were installed with no issues!  My wife and I are truly perfectionists and this company certainly lived up to our high standards.  I would highly recommend them to anyone who is putting in new windows/doors.  Their prices are competitive and you cannot beat the customer service.  Outstanding all around!!

Can I give J&K Windows 10 stars?    They were simply amazing and had great pricing too.   I cannot believe my luck finding Darin!    We had a super tough job.   We purchased a foreclosure and the entire back of my house was a wreck.   The windows were installed improperly and two would not even open.   The stucco patch work was just wrong and a terrible eyesore.    Darin and his crew came out and did such a great job.  Now I am so proud of my home instead of embarrassed by the mess the previous owners made.   If you need windows or doors, call Darin I know you will be as happy as I am with the process and the results!    Thanks a million Darin, we could not be more happy or grateful with the effort you put forth for us.

​I had a phenomenal experience with K & J Windows.  I asked that I be given an estimate for window replacement for my new townhome.  I was across the country and hadn't even closed on my property.  I was also on a time crunch to have everything completed as soon as possible due to work constraints.  Cody very quickly coordinated with my realtor to visit the property and measure all of the windows.  He looked at other windows within my development and came up with a recommendation based on that and my HOA requirements.  He even filled out most of my HOA application paperwork.  After ordering the windows I called several times with questions regarding preparations for installation.  Each time I received very quick and thorough responses.  I had been warned by a handyman that window replacement could damage some of my exterior tile and interior paint and I might have to order additional casing for a sliding glass door.  I didn't have to worry about any of these things with K & J windows.  The installers were very professional and meticulous.  There was no mess inside or out.  There was no damage to any tile, and casing was included!  I was incredibly impressed with their customer service and work.  And my new windows look fantastic and save a ton of energy!  VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
