Mike was the only one that answered us the day we called him which was unfortunately a sun. One other out of several called us later on Monday but the other four never even called us back. He offered to replace the part that went but I elected to just go ahead and replace the unit and we knew three ye ago when we bought the house it was on borrowed time. Both options were available to us next day. He even offered us portable ac units for the bedroom the night we were going to be without and at no charge to us. His employees were also some polite hardworking young men. I can't say much about price except that it was less than I expected and definitely no more than average for what google says. Lol

My parents AC went out and we had Ivan come out on a Sunday. I have never had an AC company come out to my place or my parents that I felt was being honest, there are so many shady companies out there and I have to say, Ivan spent time figuring out what was wrong. Fortunately the part was under warranty, so we only had to pay for labor. It was cheaper than most companies wanted to charge just to show up. I got a few extra cards from him and will from now on use Clark heating and cooling.  I am the biggest skeptic when it comes to service, and I have to say I don't mind paying for a quality repair. And I did just that. Fair priced, quality service. My mother felt like he went above and beyond. Sad part is we had another company out less than a month ago. And they clearly overcharged my mother for the work. And the repair lasted a few weeks. Thank you Ivan I hope your boss knows what an asset you are to the company.

I called my Home Warranty company (AHS) this morning because my A/C was hesitating to start up and I saw the thermostat start to rise. Before it got any worse, I knew I needed someone to fix it! Luckily, the warrantee company contracts with Grand Canyon Refrigeration!! Martin called me within an hour after my call to AHS. He happened to be in my neighborhood on other jobs so he fit me into his schedule. He came out only 2 hours after my initial call!! On a Holiday!! (4th of July). He was very friendly, pleasant, and professional. He wasnt like the other companies that I've had out here to fix my A/C over the years (other guys have been jerky salesmen and pretended to know about what they were doing). Martin not only fixed my issue, he found that prior repairmen had put unnecessary parts onto my a/c unit!  I would trust him to fix my a/c if anything happened again. Highly recommend!

We bought a combo heat pump unit 3 years ago ( over $5000). Unit would not turn on to heat this year. Called Mike Carroll, salesman who sold us unit.  He told me there would be NO CHARGE to come out and check unit. Made appt and two days before date they texted to say THEY changed appt to the next day. Called them and made arrangements to come on the day they were suppose to. Jason showed up on time and determined problem was the thermostat.  He said it would be $79.00 for diagnostic service and ARE YOU READY FOR THIS $330.00 to replace the thermostat that costs less than $30.00 at home depot. Told him to contact Mike about service charge and NO THANK YOU on something that should cost less the $100 total to replace.
Bought new thermostat for $28.00 and replaced same in less that 10 mins. Service Tech's make commission on UP SELLING customers.  Well don't worry Donley and Mike I'm due to change both my 3 and 3.5 Trane units that are over 20 years old and I won't be checking with YOUR company. You just lost over $10,000 thanks to JASON.

My house warranty company had to send 3 different AC techs out to my house before my AC problem was fixed. The last Tech, Christian, from
Qual-Tech AC was the absolute best! He was friendly, professional and after he fixed the problem he explained (in terms I could understand) exactly what the problem was, and how he fixed it. This company, and Christian in particular, come highly recommended.

If there are nicer people in AZ-I don't know where they are.  I can't imagine a situation that (even if it was screwed up) they wouldn't make right.  Needed parts for my fridge and they were great.  Is amazon cheaper-yes-but I sure felt better about the experience and was able to help a local business.  Plus they figured a work around on my part...which amazon would probably not do.

Hands down the only company I will ever deal with for anything HVAC related. Valley's Best has replaced our AC unit in our old place and repaired our unit at our new house. On every encounter with them they have been professional, honest, respectful and have a great sense of urgency. The owner Chase is honest and knowledgeable. Marlene the office manager is incredible she truly goes above and beyond and is such a compassionate individual. The techs who came to our were super knowledgeable and quick to resolve the issues. Highly recommended this company for your heating and cooling needs.

Can't imagine a better company to service my HVAC. Jason came recommended by a home inspector I used in purchasing a home. He was super responsive, courteous and on time,, patient in answering my questions, doesn't upsell me on anything, and just forthright and honest, I'm lucky I found Jason and his team and he will no doubt be my go to for any Hvac needs! Thank you Jason!!

We got to know Sam before he started his own business.   We will follow him WHEREVER he is!  EXCEPTIONAL!

Bill came out and serviced our 3 year old heat pump. He was very through and explained what he was doing and educated us on a few things since we are from another state and had never owned a heat pump before. I will continue to call Bill for all of our heating and cooling needs. He is honest and truly cares about the quality of his work.

I have been using this family owned company for my home and business for years. I have had first class service from them. Jason who is the son has taken over for his father who is in remission from cancer. He also is a very kind and caring man who taught his son well. I have called Jason on crazy hours and yes even Saturday and Sunday and they always fit me in. I have sent him to my parents on a Sunday he came out and fixed the problem. He is  very reliable and very kind and caring. Jason I cant THANK YOU enough! If I had known about them being on Yelp I would Have shared this sooner!

Major disappointment. First, they were supposed to do our job 10 days ago. it took multiple calls to their office to finally get them to do anything after there initial diagnostic visit. In addition, they charged an outrageous service charge just show up the first time. then, as they needed to order a part,they then charged us another service call charge to install. The job took 5 minutes for their tech to do as they just needed to change out a minor part.

We used this company 3-4 years ago, and they were great. Very disappointing this time. So we will look for a new heating and cooling company for our future work. Do not recommend at all.

I have only seen Howard Air advertising on KTAR.com and saw their ad next to a comment by a KTAR regular who posted a racist message about blacks are at it again... then accusing a black man who was victimized by the police of simply looking for an excuse to sue so he could spend their time at the KFC drive-thru. I am aware of how much time and money goes into this targeted advertising and I learned all I needed to about a company who wants to appeal to racists and advertises on platforms that broadcast hate speech.

They may do excellent work but, as a property owner in this community, I think the values of a company who funds hate-filled message boards is a few-breaker for me. There are plenty of other HVAC businesses in the Valley who do not sponsor forums riddled with racism and hate speech.

My mother is a senior(83 y/o) and she got scammed by this company.  She was in need of a new air conditioner and the sales guy was trying to help(not) he stated he give her a good price.  She's on a fixed income and when she got her first billed they charged her $12,000 for the AC that she didn't need and when she tried to called the company for help the representative didn't give a sh&t about her problem.  This company is AWFUL to people so I'm giving a warning to  everyone especially SENIORS, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they will scam you out of all your money.
