Gabe and Ivan showed up bright and early this morning to replace my aging Heatpump with a new 2stage unit. They did a great job removing the old unit and installing the new one. They also did some duct work to move a register in a spare bedroom. I am extremely happy with the work they did. Very neat and professional. I certainly recommend them to anyone needing A/C work. Nobody wants to have to work with contractors, but when you do we've been conditioned to set our expectations low. Not the case when dealing with Martin, he runs his business the way that all should be run- excellent communication, honest work, fair prices. Not to mention he's just such a nice person to work with. From replacing a full AC unit a year ago to providing service calls and maintenance on a different place today, every experience is positive and consistent. Thanks Martin!!

Our heater was not working properly and we called a company in town that we had used before. They came out and said the gas valve was broken and it would be an $800 repair. We have recently worked with Donley for our business and so called them for our home. Rueben came out and was great with customer service. He found that the gas valve was shut off and that was the issue. The other company was trying to make money and Donley just fixed the issue and we paid the service charge. Couldn't be happier that Donley has integrity and the customer experience to go with it. Great job Donley on gaining a new customer.

I went through my home warranty who uses this company. They called me and set up a same day appointment. Gave me a 2 hour window, called 20 minutes before arriving and fixed my AC in about 20 minutes. Christian was very friendly and professional. And my house is finally cool again!

We needed a replacement heating element for our oven which was 12 years old. Kevin's had the part in stock and the price was comparable to Amazon. Very knowledgeable staff and good customer service. Ordered another part for our refrigerator. They didn't have in stock but was able to order the part for next day delivery. Will definitely use again!

Bill came out and serviced our 3 year old heat pump. He was very through and explained what he was doing and educated us on a few things since we are from another state and had never owned a heat pump before. I will continue to call Bill for all of our heating and cooling needs. He is honest and truly cares about the quality of his work.

I have been using this family owned company for my home and business for years. I have had first class service from them. Jason who is the son has taken over for his father who is in remission from cancer. He also is a very kind and caring man who taught his son well. I have called Jason on crazy hours and yes even Saturday and Sunday and they always fit me in. I have sent him to my parents on a Sunday he came out and fixed the problem. He is very reliable and very kind and caring. Jason I cant THANK YOU enough! If I had known about them being on Yelp I would Have shared this sooner!

We have our RV located in an RV park up in Pine, AZ.
Last June(2018), we had trouble with our AC unit and after calling around to different RV repair/service companies we were told they were booked out 2 weeks in advance and one RV repairman near Payson told us Pine was too far to come to work on an RV... Really ?
So I called North Mechanical and they said Yes, not only will we come out the next day but we're certified for Dometic service. (Dometic is a common brand of RV AC units and refrigerators etc).
The guy that came was on time, very polite and all around good guy and had our issues addressed quickly.
Tuesday 11/13/18 we arrived in Pine to find our propane regulator leaking. I found a regulator at a Payson hardware store and went home and installed it and when I turned the gas back on it began spewing propane out of the vent on the regulator. I thought I had used improper fittings after talking to just about every hardware, propane parts places, RV repair people who were as usual booked solid. Everyone had a different opinion as to why the regulator was doing what it was doing. Now I was confused and compressed highly flammable gas is nothing to mess with so I once again contacted North Mechanical, explained my situation and also I had no heat and couldn't use our cook stove. Night time lows were 20 degrees in Pine and it was a long cold night but Darin North juggled schedules and had a tech out to us that next day.
Again, problem quickly solved, another great tech who was very polite, professional and right on time.
We have heat and can cook again thanks to North mechanical.
Good Job !!!!

I purchased a new rooftop ac unit from Wolff Mechanical a year ago. I found them when I needed someone to do a hail inspection on my ac unit. They were very helpful in assisting me to make a hail claim through my insurance company. Long story short, my insurance didn't pay for the hail damage, so I had to purchase the new system myself. After getting quotes form other companies Wolff was the best value. Now a year and a couple weeks after they installed the unit, it all of the sudden stopped working out of the blue last night at about 8:00pm. I went to Wolff's website and called the number thinking I would leave a message for someone to call me back the next day. To my surprise someone answered. I explained the problem and she said she would have someone call me back. About 10 minutes later a tech called me and said that he could be there in about an hour to fix it. This would be at 9:00pm! I was amazed. After the tech arrived it was determined that it was the thermostat that was bad. He asked to see my initial install paperwork. When I showed it to him he noticed that the system was actually 2 weeks past warranty. He quickly said no problem, I'll make the warranty retroactive and cover it. These guys are top notch! where a lot of companies would just show up when it was convenient for them and stick you with the cost of repairs the day after the warranty expires, Wolff values their customers enough to make getting their system back working again a priority and stands behind their work! I would highly recommend them!

i would leave 0 stars if i could. these jokers arrived at my house yesterday at 7am to install a brand new ac unit. ive waited months for this because the unit was on backorder. they worked from 7am to 8pm, taking up my whole day during which time i had no air conditioning. at 8pm, with the air running, they left. by 10pm the air was no longer working. im dissatisfied not only with the poor quality of the install but also the way it has not at all been rectified. i called the 24hour number both last night and this morning. both times i was told i woukd be receiving a call back from dispatch - one operator lied and said it would only take 10 minutes - but dispatch never called and i still don't have air. i will never recommend these totally uncool losers to anyone. save your money. i had air before they arrived and now i dont. con artists.
UPDATE: they sent someone over right away this morning to fix the problem and after another 2 hours of him working he told me he has to come back monday for ANOTHER 6 hour job. 20 hours i have to have these losers in my home. worst experience i've ever had with a business and i will be reporting them to the BBB

For any of your potential customers in the neighborhood for heating and cooling service from these folks, think again, please! I have been a long standing customer with Orangutan, even before they were Orangutan. Originally, they were American Home Maintenance. I have been in my home for nearly 15 years and the WORST of those years has been the last 4 since, Orangutan installed 2 new units in August of 2011. Every Summer passes and I hope and pray that one of the units doesn't fail.
I will tell you that I've seen some changes over the years, but right when you think you see a glimmer of light, BOOM, you are left without a unit running at the end of the day! It is now near 6:00 p.m. and the upstairs unit is inoperable.
The sad thing this time around is that it wasn't the fault of the units! The gauge wiring used in during the initial construction of the house, by today's standards is subpar. In other words, the wiring wore out. Luckily, one of the FEW technician's that I would even trust to service the units after all these years, found the problem and got the unit running.
So, based on his recommendation, it was suggested that new lines be installed in order to possibly prevent a similar situation. So after speaking with the Service Manager about my concerns this week, the office arranged to have the installer come out and replace the lines. Well guess what! My scheduled time was 8-11. I received a call from the office at 10:36 noting that the technician was on his way. I then received a call at 12:50 from the technician, I am on my way. I think he arrived probably close to 2:00. I let him do this thing and unfortunately, they touched some wires and blew out a fuse. No air-conditioning on the second floor tonight where the bedrooms are.
Granted the technician did try to find a place that sold the fuse, but was too late and the business closed. The technician was apologetic, but seriously, during his request for a broom to clean up the stairs, I just said I would take care of it.
So, I attempted to call the office tonight to see if I could speak to the Service Manager, but he was out for the day. I was told he would be back in at 8:00 in the morning. I live in Surprise, the offices are in Tempe, you tell me, how long I'm going to have sit without any a/c again until someone decides to pop out. Assuming there will be communication.
Seriously folks, think again...
