We needed a new a/c unit which also included the gas heater. We received a quote from 2 other companies, each wanting a minimum of $8900. We are retired and just didn't have that in our budget.
We had used Mac's Air 3 or 4 different times since we moved here to the Province for maintenance and repairs, as he had received many good reviews on Next Door. Our unit is 15 yrs old and did give out on us last summer. He repaired it for $250 (condenser, I believe) but highly recommended we obtain a new unit by the summer of 2021. So I called Mike and within 48 hrs he gave us a quote for $5500 which included everything. It was installed within 10 days, though we told him we were in no hurry. The unit works super and is very quiet, along with being energy efficient. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Look no further for your heating and cooling needs. David and his team are awesome. After having the soffits removed  throughout the house, they installed our new ductwork. Their proposal was detailed and accurate. David explained everything thoroughly. Their work is precise and customer service is outstanding! Clark Heating & Cooling is now a part of our home maintenance team. It's hard to find honest, dependable companies these days but we hit a home run with Clark. Yea!

Martin is courteous, respectful and dependable. He is the only i trust to service my air conditioner. when it comes time to replace, i will call him also. Not sure what else to say as his service is top notch.

Rip off. The technician was here for 25 minutes at the most replace an $80 part and charge me $400. I'm a single woman and didn't know better until the work was done.

The people there were extremely helpful and professional. When my home unit had issues, they were able to come over the next morning to take a look at it. The Chris was very accommodating and friendly to my family (my little girl kept asking him questions, and he was very sweet to her). He explained things to us very well and helped us figure out the best steps to move forward. I even had second opinions on the system and they all said the same thing Chris did. Turned out we had a 15 year old unit and we needed to replace it. Not what I wanted to do right now, ya know? But Christian (the owner?) came over (on Sunday) to install an in-room temporary unit so we could sleep comfortably and gave me pricing. He gave me a great deal and was even able to make us a priority and had the new unit put in on Tuesday afternoon. While his crew was there they were all respectful and professional. They did a great job, made my plight feel like it was the most important and took care for me. He even replaced my intake vents (which I had been trying to do for a while but couldn't find at any hardware stores): they were so loud when the blower ran, it sounded like a hurricane, and an awesome new WiFi thermostat that came with a room sensor, so now it can read upstairs and downstairs so it makes the whole house more even (much better for sleeping)! I've noticed my new unit runs less often, quieter, and the whole house is much cooler and more comfortable. My only regret is not having done this sooner. Thanks guys, you were great! Should recommend them to everyone!

If you are reading this review you are thinking about fixing an appliance yourself rather than hire someone to do it. I am here to say do it yourself and Kevin's Parts can help.

Here is my story... AC went out and I had one repair company quote me $700 to fix the condenser fan motor. Another quoted my $800. Both suggested it may be time to replace my 15 year old unit also would said that they felt it was in good enough condition that they would be willing to fix just the motor.

Kevin's other company AirPatriot would have done it for around $375, much better than $700 or $800, but still higher than just buying the parts and doing it myself. I decided to do it myself. Initially it cost me $244 in parts but then I had a lot of trouble getting the fan blade off the motor (note, don't use a hammer and don't cut it from the motor). Went back to Kevin's and they were able to just get me a brand new fan blade the same day for $44. So now I'm $288 dollars in and my AC is working awesome again.

I did the work myself but Kevin's parts supported me the whole way and motivated me to do it myself. The staff there including Kevin himself are great people. They did not know me before this week, but genuinely showed care and compassion.

While I hope don't have to go back anytime soon, I will if I have any other issues with my AC or another appliance.

Had a leak to the heating/ac unit  where my brother lived. It's a HOA governed development. Thank God the management company was on the grounds that day, they turned the water off to the unit.  
The HOA referred Jasons company to me.  Nice guy named Mel showed up...no emergency happening now...because the water was already turned off, but $155.00 later and a estimate of 5,300.00 later, proved to be a joke.  2 estimates later the next weeks, Jason was clearly trying to take advantage of a situation, a gentlemen would not have.
Not going to work with the warranty company period..and no time to educate me on details.  
Do your homework...call a second opinion.

We got to know Sam before he started his own business.   We will follow him WHEREVER he is!  EXCEPTIONAL!

Bill came out and serviced our 3 year old heat pump. He was very through and explained what he was doing and educated us on a few things since we are from another state and had never owned a heat pump before. I will continue to call Bill for all of our heating and cooling needs. He is honest and truly cares about the quality of his work.

I have been using this family owned company for my home and business for years. I have had first class service from them. Jason who is the son has taken over for his father who is in remission from cancer. He also is a very kind and caring man who taught his son well. I have called Jason on crazy hours and yes even Saturday and Sunday and they always fit me in. I have sent him to my parents on a Sunday he came out and fixed the problem. He is  very reliable and very kind and caring. Jason I cant THANK YOU enough! If I had known about them being on Yelp I would Have shared this sooner!

Landmark Home Warranty sent another company to fix our air conditioner. Their guy tried to fix it, but after he finished, we still had the same problem. He came back, but couldn't figure out why it was still doing the same thing.

Decided to call North Mechanical and pay out of pocket to get the problem fixed right the first time. They sent out a young tech the next morning who has only been working for them for a month. After looking over the system for 10-15 minutes he figured out that the new fan had been mis-wired, fixed it and it worked fine. No new parts, so we were only charged for a service call.

Drivers should not drive down the turning lane because they don't want to wait.  Unsafe and luckily no one was hurt.  Truck number 86.

Schedulers and service folks are 5*.  But they service manger/company will not provide transparent pricing.  Parts and labor are lump sum and they will not break it out.  Statement: We provide book plus labor and it is competitive but we cannot break it out.  Cost is roughly 60% parts/40% labor.  But if you provide the parts then the cost will be 60% labor.  Yup, no transparency and sliding costs depending on the situation.

A new Trane system was installed in April 2018 by this company. Apparently they installed the handler incorrectly.  On July 26th the handler and 35 gallons of water came crashing through the ceiling.  Despite having a extended service agreement with this company they couldn't respond for six days. While repairing the handler, the employees tore up half the room ceiling.  It took another three weeks for them to send out their dry wall team out. Upon arrival the team asked why I didn't call earlier.  I told them I did, but the customer service people that schedule jobs are worthless. Then they got upset because they weren't told the size of the job, and had to run to Home Depot to get enough drywall.  After finishing, they called Nicole in order to schedule two more appointments to finish up the job. Of course Nicole wasn't able to be reached (nothing new there) and they left a message, I was standing right there next to him, for her to call me ASAP.  That didn't happen. After 20 hours I called Nicole, and of course she denied everything. So the bottom line here is that after more than a month, I still trying to get Orangutan to make me whole again.  This is no way to treat a long time customer.  Avoid this firm.
