Mike and his team are amazing and always able to locate the issue when we have a problem at a property.  His prices are fair and reasonable for all types of repairs.  Professional, on-time and explains whats going on with the units so you understand.

Have experienced many other companies both from my local area and from  farther out and Macs's tops them all with the way they handle the issues and the ac repairs.

David and his team are extremely honest and professional. They honored their estimate even with our unit being a bit more complicated. I am so appreciative of the good work they did on our unit. Our AC was up and running within a few hours and now it's blowing like a champ.

I had Martian every time we have needed anything. He is very honest, nice, very good at explaining what he is doing and what is needed. I have recommended him to all of my friends and family members. He comes once a year and does the maintenance on our unit that he installed 4 years ago. Would definitely recommend him to anyone needing this kind of service! We are customers for life!( or as long as he is working)

I recently had a failed compressor during the hottest days of the summer. I contracted with Donley for a new unit. Service was super professional from the free estimate, installation, and quality check up. Every member of their team was as knowledgeable as you'd expect from a professional company and their customer service was on-spot, friendly and made all expected follow ups. I would recommend them to anyone. Fair pricing and great customer service. A++

Chris has been our technician and we couldn't ask for a better one. He is timely and professional. He is neat (even in this heat, don't know how he does) He speaks plane English and doesn't try to snow us with a bunch of technical terms we wouldn't know anyway. Very personable. Don't know how many techs Qual-Tech has but I can tell you  they don't have a better one.

We needed a replacement heating element for our oven which was 12 years old. Kevin's had the part in stock and the price was comparable to Amazon. Very knowledgeable staff and good customer service. Ordered another part for our refrigerator. They didn't have in stock but was able to order the part for next day delivery. Will definitely use again!

I have an older, remodeled home in North Phoenix. My A/C unit is a bit older as well so it needs a bit of TLC. I don't have to tell you about the heat of Phoenix summers so when I realized the unit wasn't cooling my house very well in mid-July I called these guys and they had a tech (John) at my home within one day. After the coil cleaning, re-sealing the duct entry on the roof and re-filling my Freon, we were good to go. John was super knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and communicated well. A few days later the same issue occurred & they sent the same tech out again on the same day and he discovered an additional issue with the duct work in the attic. It had separated over time and he quickly sealed it up. A week later the issue occurred again as we were approaching the hottest day of the year so far - 116 degrees. I called the after hours line on a Saturday evening and John was at my door within an hour. A different part of the duct work had separated and also needed to be sealed. He was done in about 10 minutes. Then, he committed to come back the next day (Sunday) and make sure the seal held as an extra level of service. As a bonus, they were also connected as a provider to my Home Warranty. We loved the quality of service we received and have already recommended them to some friends. Very glad they responded so quick so our family wasn't sweating it out in mid-summer!  They're definitely worth consideration if you need A/C work done.

Can't imagine a better company to service my HVAC. Jason came recommended by a home inspector I used in purchasing a home. He was super responsive, courteous and on time,, patient in answering my questions, doesn't upsell me on anything, and just forthright and honest, I'm lucky I found Jason and his team and he will no doubt be my go to for any Hvac needs! I have been using this family owned company for my home and business for years. I have had first class service from them. Jason who is the son has taken over for his father who is in remission from cancer. He also is a very kind and caring man who taught his son well. I have called Jason on crazy hours and yes even Saturday and Sunday and they always fit me in. I have sent him to my parents on a Sunday he came out and fixed the problem. He is  very reliable and very kind and caring. Jason I cant THANK YOU enough! If I had known about them being on Yelp I would Have shared this sooner!

This company is the best!!! We moved into an old home that needed a complete remodel but we had to live in it during the process.  There was no heat or air conditioning in the home.  North Mechanical was the only HVAC company in Payson that would work with us through the process, installing the system so we had heat and cool, and then completing the installation in stages as we progress with the remodeling.  Great company, friendly, understanding, prompt, efficient, fair pricing.

My heat pump started blowing cool a few days ago. After another company came out and estimated it would take $2000 to repair my system (and recommended that I buy another one) I called Wolff for a second opinion. I was referred to them by one of my family members.

One of their guys came out today and spent quite a bit of time on my roof before coming down and telling me what the problem was. He said that aside from being an old system, the only thing wrong with it was that it was 4 pounds low on refrigerant. This was a stark contrast from the first company that came out, who said that I was out of refrigerant, there was a refrigerant leak needed to be fixed, and two other pieces were broken.

When I heard that the only issue was being low on refrigerant (and that the price they quoted me per pound was $30 cheaper) I was very relieved. The tech filled it up within 15 minutes and my house was warm again.

I'm really glad I called Wolff for a second opinion, and that I didn't get grifted (as it seemed the other company was certainly trying to do). I'll certainly be calling Wolff again in the future when things go wrong and recommend them to my friends and family as well.

Shawn arrived at our home an hour before scheduled *he called to let us know he was 30 minutes away * he diagnosed our problem with confidence and went straight to work. I have been shocked at the way Orangutan Home services has dealt with me.  Home Depot contracts with them to install and do service contracts on air conditioners.  I bought Trane units through Home Depot (December, 2014) and ended up with this company.  We've had several bad experiences with them.

1) When we bought roof mounted units, their contract said they would mount them on appropriate metal stands.  After the installation I realized that they didn't use metal--put 4X4 wood instead. I brought it up to Mr. Gary Leader (sales) and he basically said you didn't speak up. Also through Mr. Leader I thought I contracted to have Organgutan move a water pipe on the roof that would block installation. A technician came out and we discussed the placement of the pipe and the insulation I wanted. When time for work came a different technician showed up, said he knew nothing of any agreement, but did I want the pipe moved or not? Since unit installation depended on moving pipe and timing was important, I felt intimidated and agreed. Later, I had to install appropriate blocking for the moved pipe and add and treat the insulation myself.  When I raised the issue with Mr. Leader, he told me I should have gotten it in writing. Overall, the installation experience was terribly stressful.  

2) Customer service is highly variable. Some women in the Tempe office have treated me compassionately and some technicians have been professional to deal with.  At present, I'm having trouble because the 7 month old Trane unit has a coolant leak and doesn't work. A technician came out promptly and said an outdoor coil was needed and would have to be ordered.  Tim the parts manager called me and said Trane doesn't make the part any longer and he might be able to get one, but it would take between 4 days (best estimate) and 15 days.  I told him that each estimate seemed to be a very long time to have the air conditioner down in July.  He promised to call me back when he knew what was available.  When I called him back an hour later--I wanted to ask if they could repair the problem rather than replace the part--he refused to come to the phone and sent the message that he would call me when he had information and it may not be today.  I classify that as bullying, rude behavior. Since you have to go through the main operator, I can't even get the name of another manager to speak with.

I've found it difficult to get reliable information from this company.  Some people have been kind, others downright rude, but I have trouble in that what they say doesn't seem to match what they do.  I agree with other reviewers that this is a company to avoid. Clearly, some customers are happy and give them high ratings, which suggests to me it's an issue of quality control and training--some are professional and some are not, you just take your chances.  I'm puzzled that Home Depot contracts with them. I'm trying to find some recourse through Home Depot now because Organgutan has been so horrible.  Had I seen their reviews on Yelp or Angie's List or Kudzu, I would have asked Home Depot for a different contractor.
