I moved into my home in 2020, new AC units were installed by Mike before I purchased it the home. Yesterday, the upstairs unit started blowing hot air. I called Mike yesterday and explained the issue, he stopped by this morning, switched out the part and in about 5 mins had it up and running. He didn't charge me anything (the part was covered under warranty) even though I had never met him before! Now that's customer service! Thank you for being fair! That's how you build a business. I will remember this for any future ac needs. Thank You!

About a year after buying my house in Phoenix, we noticed water dripping from through the thermostat during a storm. (Yes, the thermostat!)
After determining where I thought the leak was, I ended up calling Dave. His guy Ivan came over to patch up the condensation drain pipe (I explained I was confident this was where the water was entering the house).
After spending a solid amount of time going to town patching up any possible leak on the roof, Ivan was ready to leave and had me sign the invoice. I asked if he had any concern about mold, since there had been a handful of heavy storms before we called Dave. By his own suggestion, he went up into the attic to inspect it.
While we were up there, Ivan noticed daylight coming in through the seal of the AC unit to the roof. The unit wasn't sealed correctly or possibly had shifted since being installed. Ivan pointed out that was the actual source of the leak. (And wasn't easy to detect from on top of the roof.) He went back on the roof and reinforced the seal.
I was very satisfied because Ivan wasn't at all in a hurry to get the job done and get out of there. His top priority was clearly doing the job right, and it's because he had that thorough mindset that we were able to identify the source of the leak. We've had storms since then with no further issues.

VERY NICE guys but don't seem to want big jobs. Our home warranty company sent them to us. I think they probably came to our house before they even got the work order from the home warranty company. But when they saw the problem, they determined it was too big for them. My friend who works for an HVAC company is Northern California said, too big is code for I don't want the job. I figured as much based on other reviews about this company. That's unfortunate. If you don't want the work, don't waste the time coming out. It's 95 degrees in my house and I am on day 3 of no AC.

Pretty typical AC business. The technician arrived on time. Didn't say much .. serviced the AC machine outside and then charged me for the work. Seemed to be more expensive than what I'm used to paying, but this was the first place to answer their phone after I called 4 other places so I went with them.

First off, let me make it apparent that it is VERY difficult to find an AC Supply company, especially on that is open on the weekends. First thing this Saturday morning, my AC condenser fan motor went out.
I contacted Kevin's Parts by phone and was given great information and invited into their shop to make sure we got the correct replacement part. I hurried in and was graciously greeted and then treated with the utmost respect.
Not only did they get me the right replacement part, but they took the time to walk me through how this new fan needed to be wired compared to my previous part. Then I let them know I was under the impression I needed to replace the fan blades since I could not get them separated from the motor. Without question, they grabbed the lube and tools and quickly demonstrated how to remove the blades without damaging them.
Thank you Kevin's Parts! You guys are great and I look forward to coming to you for all my household appliance parts needs.

I have been using this family owned company for my home and business for years. I have had first class service from them. Jason who is the son has taken over for his father who is in remission from cancer. He also is a very kind and caring man who taught his son well. Interesting morning. Sitting at a red light and one of their drivers is honking at me like a maniac. Sorry I wasn't going to run a red because you were late.
I call the number on the van to tell customer service their driver is out of control and making their company look bad. She asks me for my name. I ask her why that's relevant and to let me give her the number on the back of this drivers van. She refuses to take the number and will not listen to the issue. At one point she asks me again for my name (what are you thinking)? At this point I ask if I can speak to a supervisor to give them this number on the van before I lose the driver. She then tells me my name is required. At this point the driver is gone so this is my only way to leave feedback to management.
I was simply trying to report a maniac driver and unable to do so due to the customer service representative. She was definitely the worst I have ever spoken with and she was trying to talk over me. I am not sure what is so hard about answering a call and taking down a number and reporting the activity? Apparently too hard for this customer service rep. I hope you guys record your calls to back and listen on 7am on 8/20/19.
My current belief is I must have called a small shop and reported the husband to the wife or something
No real explanation but stay away from these guys on the roads and stay away from calling their front desk.
Prolly would stay away in general. Unreal experience this morning and I rarely ever leave a review. I hope
Management sees an actions but I have a feeling management was the guy honking at me this morning trying to run a red light.

Wish I could give zero stars. We had a residential AC unit replaced today, 5 employees arrived at 7 am and they were still working on it until 8 pm. I put my entire day on hold thinking they did the job I finally left the house for 1 hour. Upon returning home the AC isn't functional, the filter they taped on because they didn't have a proper sized one fell off, and the thermostat is completely unresponsive with no power going to it. After 13 hours of extreme discomfort and exacerbating my heart condition in the heat I called them for assistance. Was told I would be hearing from a dispatcher in 10 mins. An hour later, it didn't happen so I call again. They sent a second message to dispatch at midnight and now it's 6:30 am with no response. Any claims of 24 HR emergency repair is a lie. This is after months of trying to get this unit up and running. First time they promised to pump the unit to give us relief they also failed to execute. It's taken at least 6 visits to our residence and over 8 Howard staff to .... not replace an air conditioner lmao. Definitely in the top 2 worst customer service experiences of my life.

Orangutan was selected to replace our AC unit by our warranty company through Home Depot. The review, installation, and cleanup went perfectly. About a week after the install we noticed that one of the bedrooms was receiving way too much air, and the master bedroom just wasn't getting enough.
We called. And called again. And called again.
About six weeks later, and after a 25 minute phone call, they realized our account was entered incorrectly and the phone numbers were off. They corrected the account numbers and sent a guy out the following day. He fixed the issue in twenty minutes. YAY!
I am very happy with the results and we are saving over $100/month versus last year, plus we lowered the inside temp four degrees compared to last year. They gave us the perfect AC unit without trying to sell us on more expensive models. Very happy!
