Mike and his team are amazing and always able to locate the issue when we have a problem at a property. His prices are fair and reasonable for all types of repairs. Professional, on-time and explains whats going on with the units so you understand.
Have experienced many other companies both from my local area and from farther out and Macs's tops them all with the way they handle the issues and the ac repairs.

We have used Dave and his crew for regular maintenance on our HVAC unit for several years. Today the replaced our 20 year old unit and did a fantastic job. They have always been professional, honest, fair and reliable. They showed up on time and completed the project in exactly the time quoted. They even brought us a portable until you keep us cool for a few days until the installation date. When making a big investment like this, it is important to us that we support a local small business that we know and trust. We highly and confidently recommend Clark Heating and Cooling for all of your HVAC needs.

First to respond to setting up appointment for quote request. Upon inspection of our home and current unit, he gave a quote for a reasonable unit that would get the job done. We asked about a bigger and more efficient(17seer) unit, he got a revised quote out to me very quickly, with no additional increase for multiple items he added to the invoice, cutting out a new return being one of them.
No other quotes came anywhere close to his price and quality of unit(warranty length)/seers/etc). Martin was honest, straightforward and enjoyed discussing any questions or issues I had.
Martin is a no BS guy that follows through on his communication, scheduling, and pricing. From moment of quote request to install was 12 days. Job was completed in one day.

Pretty typical AC business. The technician arrived on time. Didn't say much .. serviced the AC machine outside and then charged me for the work. Seemed to be more expensive than what I'm used to paying, but this was the first place to answer their phone after I called 4 other places so I went with them.

I have an older, remodeled home in North Phoenix. My A/C unit is a bit older as well so it needs a bit of TLC. I don't have to tell you about the heat of Phoenix summers so when I realized the unit wasn't cooling my house very well in mid-July I called these guys and they had a tech (John) at my home within one day. After the coil cleaning, re-sealing the duct entry on the roof and re-filling my Freon, we were good to go. John was super knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and communicated well. A few days later the same issue occurred & they sent the same tech out again on the same day and he discovered an additional issue with the duct work in the attic. It had separated over time and he quickly sealed it up. A week later the issue occurred again as we were approaching the hottest day of the year so far - 116 degrees. I called the after hours line on a Saturday evening and John was at my door within an hour. A different part of the duct work had separated and also needed to be sealed. He was done in about 10 minutes. Then, he committed to come back the next day (Sunday) and make sure the seal held as an extra level of service. As a bonus, they were also connected as a provider to my Home Warranty. We loved the quality of service we received and have already recommended them to some friends. Very glad they responded so quick so our family wasn't sweating it out in mid-summer! They're definitely worth consideration if you need A/C work done.

I have used this company for a couple of years and I am always so impressed with them. Jason - the owner, takes great pride in treating each customer as if he was treating his own family. Not only is he reliable and trustworthy, but he keeps his prices reasonable.
This morning (Saturday), I woke up to find my AC was not working. I called Jason and by noon it was all fixed and running again. Jason personally came back from some time off to fix my unit himself. He is honest to the core and always recommends what he would do if he was the customer. It's never about selling up. I can't say enough about this company. I know you can never make everyone happy all the time but Jason always tries his best and he has great integrity. I 100% recommend him to anyone needing his services.

Bill came out and serviced our 3 year old heat pump. He was very through and explained what he was doing and educated us on a few things since we are from another state and had never owned a heat pump before. I will continue to call Bill for all of our heating and cooling needs. He is honest and truly cares about the quality of his work.

I have been using this family owned company for my home and business for years. I have had first class service from them. Jason who is the son has taken over for his father who is in remission from cancer. He also is a very kind and caring man who taught his son well. I have called Jason on crazy hours and yes even Saturday and Sunday and they always fit me in. I have sent him to my parents on a Sunday he came out and fixed the problem. He is very reliable and very kind and caring. Jason I cant THANK YOU enough! If I had known about them being on Yelp I would Have shared this sooner!

This company is the best!!! We moved into an old home that needed a complete remodel but we had to live in it during the process. There was no heat or air conditioning in the home. North Mechanical was the only HVAC company in Payson that would work with us through the process, installing the system so we had heat and cool, and then completing the installation in stages as we progress with the remodeling. Great company, friendly, understanding, prompt, efficient, fair pricing.

Wow. I called Wolff to have them estimate installation of 2 whole home humidifier units since they show up as an Aprilaire contractor. They first wanted to ask if I understood these might cost as much as $5000 each since they might have to bring in an electrician and a plumber.
Talk about hair standing up on my neck! Folks, the Humidifier Units cost $200 each. If their own people cannot do basic electrical and plumbing work, these guys are not a Mechanical AC, Heat and Solar company.
$5000 each for installation of a $200 humidifier? Nice try Wolff, but you won't be stepping foot on my property. LOL...

We're extremely happy we chose Howard Air! Top notch work done! We got our new air conditioner in 2018. Our entire house is always very comfortable since then. Thanks to them also cleaning our ventilation system; and adding more vents; and installing our new thermostat, etc., the temperature we set is the exact temperature in each room. (With Our old system some rooms were always warmer than others.) But not anymore, again thanks to Howard Air.
With their excellent work, they've earned our trust! Obviously, they want customers happy with the outcome!
This included a Free checking of the entire AC system every 6 months.

The following came from Orangutan Home Service Inc. The fact is the monkeys installed a $16,000.00 Trane A/C They claim the new unit was installed where the builder installed the original equipment. The fact of the matter is the new Trane is much larger than the original York. The home inspector over looked the installtion ontopof the clothes dryer vent. The home inspector admitted his mistake and hired a company to relocate the dryer vent.
When I look at the history of Oragutan many red flags are raised. Look at there history with the registar of contractors. If I was going to purchase a new air conditioning unit I could not with good conscience ever allow Oranguton to work on any project at my home where there are so many repupable contractors. Anthony James rrefridgeration is a company I recommend.
Again Mr. Zuckerbrow's HVAC system was installed almost 5 years ago with the previous home owner by the previous owners of Orangutan. The home builder built the house with the electrical, refrigerant line set and dryer vent all together. The unit was placed back were the original unit was installed. Then in April of 2018 Mr. Zuckerbrow purchased the home and had a home inspection done that the inspector said there was nothing wrong in his report with the HVAC system. (per Mr. Zuckerbrow). Two years after purchasing the house now Mr. Zuckerbrow wants the new owners of Orangutan to pay for the relocation of the condensing unit. Orangutan was sold April of 2019 and the new owners are not willing to absorb the expense of the relocation. Mr. Zuckerbrow's words to the install manager Joe, (not the same Joe that did the maintenance check on his house.) Orangutan is a big company I am a little person you should just pay for it is not how business works. If Mr. Zuckerbrow would like OHS to do the relocation, again there will be a cost to him. Mr. Zuckerbrow told Joe (install manager) that he got a quote for $250 to relocate the dryer vent, which seems pretty fair. The house was built that way in 2001 and the new unit was installed in the same location. OHS did contact the ROC and ask them about the situation and the ROC inspector said that since there has not been any repairs to the system in over 2 years they would not have any reason to pursue anything. I explained all the details with the inspector from day one of install to now. The inspector even said he would be willing to talk to Mr. Zuckerbrow if he wanted. OHS is sorry we can't not come to any agreement with Mr. Zuckerbrow at this time, not willing to the relocation for free.
