Mike and his team are amazing and always able to locate the issue when we have a problem at a property.  His prices are fair and reasonable for all types of repairs.  Professional, on-time and explains whats going on with the units so you understand.

Have experienced many other companies both from my local area and from  farther out and Macs's tops them all with the way they handle the issues and the ac repairs.

I have used this company now almost 5 years. As a realtor I suggested them for my clients since they are knowledgeable about different brands of units and the guys have a good mind for trouble shooting since everyone has a different thermostat. They have serviced my home, my clients homes and of course they take care of moms - and that's the most important one.

My AC was blowing warm air so I submitted a claim with my home warranty. They sent someone that didn't take the time to troubleshoot the issue. Six hours later and $100 in the hole...my AC died!!
The warranty company wouldn't send anyone else.

I remembered Martin providing service to my unit years prior, I found his card. It is now 90 degrees in my house. Martin was busy but he was able to squeeze me in and showed up within 1 hour! Not only did he show up, he diagnosed a fixed the issue within 15 minutes.

If you want honest, quality service... I highly recommend Grand Canyon Refrigeration. Martin Youwanes is a man of integrity.

I will definitely call him for all future AC and Heating needs.

I can't remember how we came upon this company, but dealing with this company last year was very pleasant.  After calling several A/C companies, we settled on having this company put in the new A/C unit with a good warranty on it.  We had a Carrier unit put on and it was in the middle of the range in terms of price - not the cheapest nor the least expensive.  

I think after everything was said and done, it was close to $7K for a new ground unit to adequately cool an almost 1800 sq ft home in central AZ.  

They did not try to high pressure sell us or anything.  Once we decided and set up the appointment, they came at the time they said they would and installed the outside unit as well as replaced the heater coil or whatever it's called up in the attic.

We were up and running in no time and the electric bills have been lower with a new more efficient unit.  It keeps the house cool and works great.  We typically don't run the unit in the winter - the heater, so at least part of the year it gets rest.

Would use this company again.  Very professional.

These guys are amazing. They not only installed a brand new unit in my house without even making a dent to the cosmetics of the tight location where it needed to be installed, but over a year later they just come out to repair a minor problem with a $0 service fee! They do very high quality work, and stand behind it.

First off, let me make it apparent that it is VERY difficult to find an AC Supply company, especially on that is open on the weekends. First thing this Saturday morning, my AC condenser fan motor went out.

I contacted Kevin's Parts by phone and was given great information and invited into their shop to make sure we got the correct replacement part. I hurried in and was graciously greeted and then treated with the utmost respect.

Not only did they get me the right replacement part, but they took the time to walk me through how this new fan needed to be wired compared to my previous part. Then I let them know I was under the impression I needed to replace the fan blades since I could not get them separated from the motor. Without question, they grabbed the lube and tools and quickly demonstrated how to remove the blades without damaging them.

Thank you Kevin's Parts! You guys are great and I look forward to coming to you for all my household appliance parts needs.

Our experience with Valley's Best was phenomenal - one of the most honest and trustworthy experiences I've had with any company. Our heater broke and they came out the same day. When we realized the issue was only occurring at night/early morning (when it was cold), Chase was in constant contact with us to plan for him to come out to be able to diagnose the issue super early the following day. He quickly figure out what was wrong, and got the parts and did the repair within 24 hours all under the warranty of our manufacturer. I was 100% that we were getting honest services at a completely reasonable and affordable cost. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, he helped us brainstorm how we could address multiple other issues that were identified in our home inspection that we had been neglecting for a while. I will be using this company again.

I was referred by Porterhouse Home Inspections to have Jason from A Savings Air look at the AC unit of the house my husband and I are buying. Communication with him was easy with calling and text. He was polite, courteous, and straightforward with his communication and he sent the inspection report within an hour of finishing his work. Thank you Jason!

I have been using this family owned company for my home and business for years. I have had first class service from them. Jason who is the son has taken over for his father who is in remission from cancer. He also is a very kind and caring man who taught his son well. I have called Jason on crazy hours and yes even Saturday and Sunday and they always fit me in. I have sent him to my parents on a Sunday he came out and fixed the problem. He is  very reliable and very kind and caring. Jason I cant THANK YOU enough! If I had known about them being on Yelp I would Have shared this sooner!

Had an appointment for tuesday @ 8 to 9 a.m.  my wife waited for hours and no show. She called this company and the female that answered told my wife that she called and cancelled. So my wife missed a day of work and rescheduled for today. She and i both work so i waited ( 8 to 9 a.m.) about 10 i called and spoke with k____y. She said we did not have an appointment and insisted that my wife called to cancel the day before (which was not true) and did not reschedule. So wether it was k___ys mistake or not she was a bit rude and insisted how wrong i was and said she would call me back. She did call back and trying to be appologetic said some one would be here shortley. They did come as promised and are gone to find a part. Finally, i called work and said i couldn't come in due to this abortion of customer service. My wife and i both missed a day of work. I hope others have had a better experience.

I had a problem with my gas heat- no heat or flow in one zone of the house. I called Wolff for service. I do have an old two zone heating/AC system with the heater in the attic. The tech promptly came, and went up in the attic and said the limit switches are weak and he has adjusted them, and it will work. He said it takes an hour or more for me to feel the heat. He recommended a new system, and gave me a detailed quote for a new system, strongly pushing it. He also charged me $160 for the service call. After he left, there was no heat even after a few hours. I reluctantly went up on the attic myself to check, and found that the duct system that connects to the heater was completely disconnected and the duct was lying on the floor, with nice hot air spewing into the attic. I reconnected it and secured it with duct tape, and lo and behold, got heat in the house immediately. I am  unhappy that I was charged $160, though the problem was obvious and unattended to;  the tech was only interested in trying to sign me up for a new system. I needed to replace my old system, but chose another company based on this experience. I hope this was an an isolated problem since i do see good reviews from others.

I have such mixed feelings about this company.  I have always really liked the technicians that come to my home, and I've found Howard Air to be a customer-centric company.  I have spent quite a bit of $ with these guys over the years with the initial installation of my units and subsequent service.  Their work has always been of high quality.  In the past, I have referred them to friends and family.

That said, I was very disappointed with my latest service experience with Howard Air.  Following our annual maintenance visit, they recommend additional services on my two AC Units.  They gave me a flat-fee pricing up front which I accepted.  

I was disappointed because I paid nearly $700 for a job where the technician was working on my units less than two hours (verified by my Nest cam) and the only materials/parts he used was a cleaning spray.  Do the math - I paid around $350/hr for their services.  I don't feel like this was a good value.

I called Howard Air to voice my concern.  They politely declined to do anything about it.  The service manager explained to me that the price was fair, and added something to the effect of, Win some, lose some with respect to the job not taking very long.

It is up to you to determine whether their prices are fair.  I was left disappointed.  This company was one of my favorites in the past.

My Maytag system was installed 3 years ago by American Home Maintenance.     I have had a Maintenance Contract with them since day one.      Now Orangutan Home Services, they faithfully call me every year for the maintenance review.     The review, unfortunately, becomes just an opportunity to sell me more stuff.     Now they are giving me a complimentary energy audit, but of course there's something they found that would cost upwards of $2100.      (New insulation.)     The real kicker was that the tech found that my fan was out of balance in the attic, and he installed a new cap.     He did that without my asking, and the appointment itself was at THEIR request, not mine.      He proceeded to tell me that he installed the cap, and that it would cost me $220.     What??     You installed an item of that cost without asking?     He responded, well I could take it off if you like.     I said the real problem here was that you didn't ask me beforehand.       He agreed, and lowered the cost to labor only - $30.      So, is this review really just to see what they can ding us with?    Apparently so.       Now back to th insulation - he told me the cost, and said I can get someone here within 48 hours.     I said well, I can't get $2100 pulled together in 48 hours, so I'll reivew it and get back with you.    He responded - how soon do you think you can make a decision?     (Wow - these poor techs must be under a LOT of sales pressure, eh?)       Anyway, I said I'll let you know.      And he was smart enough to leave it at that.      Anyway, they are no different than anyone else in this HVAC business - but beware - their maintenance visits are, like all the others, just a sales call.
