Met with Tony Carter from Red Mountain Air Conditioning.  Company is experienced in commercial and custom residential heating and air conditioning installation as well as commercial and residential repair and maintenance.  They pride themselves in doing high quality work at a competitive price.  They also do residential replacement systems.  I met Tony through the Gilbert Chamber where I also have met some customers of Red Mountain.  I hear that they are prompt, courteous, professional and do excellent work.

The guys were able to schedule me quickly!  I really just needed a tune-up and the condenser line unclogged, but they took the time to explain how each moving part looked in terms of wear and condition.  Their prices were reasonable, too.  I will keep them in mind to continue upkeep on our old AC unit.

Working with Semper Solaris was a pleasure. Dennis walked us through all our options for the system. He made everything very understandable and let us know what to expect every step of the way. The rest of the Semper Solaris team also communicated very well and kept us updated on the project. Saul diagnosed and repaired my ac in less than an hour. He's honest found a bad capacitor. Replaced and comes with a lifetime warranty including labor. Reasonably priced. Thanks Saul. I will call you for all my ac needs.

Lynn is the most honest person I ever met among all the big/small companies I have had over the years that came to my house to fix/repair things.

We had a big chain company over to do a AC tune up. In the end the guy told me we needed to pay over $1800+tax to clean/replace/fix things here and there. He showed me a picture on his phone of the dirt coil up in the attic. I didn't do it for sure (which I am so glad right now).

I did more research on yelp ,BBB and ROC (btw, the information on BBB is not very reliable at all. I have had quite a few bad experiences with the companies that bbb enlisted as A or A+, I will not use BBB as a referral any more) and found Lynn.  from all the 5 star reviews, I had a good feeling.

I called him and made an appoitment at 8am. He showed up at 8:03 and even apologized for being late. I would not call that late. :-)

He went to the attic to check and told me that the coils were not dirty at all. (The guy from the other company must have  taken that dirty coil picture somewhere else and kept it in his phone to show to people. what a shame!). Lynn also told me there was no need to replace the fan motor and add more freon. He cleaned the outside coils for free and cleared the drain line. In the end I paid 2 hour labor to get my AC fixed. what  a big difference between $1800+tax  and $144.

I will highly recommend Lynn to my friends and any people out there with AC issues. It's so hard to find an honest person/company to tell you the truth . I will have him over every year to have my AC tune up done.

We had Brandon from HammerHead Mechanical come out last week and do our summer service.  I was so impressed he was on time, polite and courteous. We felt he actually went above and beyond what others have done for us in the past. The thing we loved the most was how much he cared for our house and property. I would recommend HammerHead Mechanical ask for Brandon he'll take great care of you.

We have been using the AC Team for over 3 years for our AC and heating needs.  All the service techs are very knowledgeable and professional and provide superior service depending on your specific needs.   The AC Team is very prompt, courteous and efficient and continue to provide excellent top notch care of your heating and cooling systems.

I have really mixed feelings about this company. I had a gas leak at my house resulting in my gas being turned off. They were very responsive to messaging on yelp. The first technician found a couple leaks but could not get the system to hold pressure. He did not remove the meter which was a major mistake - what if it was the meter leaking?  He recommended advanced testing with helium.  As you may know, helium is in very short supply so the testing is no longer available. They now use propane - but I could only find one company which does the test and it was a huge waste of money ... but that's a story for a different time.

I had Diamondback Plumbing give me a second opinion. Within minutes, their tech pointed out a dielectric fitting which is for water lines. When I called to complain, APES sent a different technician (Carter W) out to fix it. Carter was wonderful and is the hero of the story. He found multiple leaks and sections of pipe missed by the original crew. He was beyond exceptional and got our gas restored.

Lessons I learned - if you need advanced leak testing, you need to replace all the lines. With flexible pipe, it's cheaper and easier. Second, the meter needs to be removed for leak testing.  And last, leaking gas lines is a major pain in the ass!!!

John gets 1 star for coming out in a timely manner.  He gets 0 stars for initially misdiagnosing the problem, charging me $85 for it to work for 10 minutes, then coming back out and telling me it's actually a $550 problem.  I asked my friend's husband who is in AC for a second opinion and he said they charge $420 for the same problem.  When we asked about his price he ran off in a huff and left us with an even more broken air conditioner.  Thanks for nothing!

I had a problem with my AC, gave this business a call and Mike showed up and fixed it right away at a good price. If I have any future problems with my AC this will be the first place I call.

Repairs were done quickly and professionally. They did a very good job, our Air conditioning as been working well ever since.

Their  slogan is Plumbers Charge Too Much  That should be the name of the company, i.e, We Charge Too Much.  Estimate went from $550.00 to $850, to install two toilets and three bathroom faucets, with all materials supplied.  Rip off artists extraordinaire.  Can't believe they have any return customers.  Let the buyer beware!!

After posting this review, I received a telephone call from owner Wayne D, who listened to my complaint and refunded part of my cost, after I informed him that the work to cost ratio vs original quote did not seem fair.  I was surprised to receive the call in the first place and equally surprised with the partial refund.  The plumber did a great job and my only complaint was the added cost.   It's gratifying to see a company so concerned with customer satisfaction that the owner calls and tries to make it right.  Thank You Wayne, you will have my future business and recommendation to others.

We had them install a wi-fi thermostat for us because we didn't have a C wire.  Spoke with Mitch on the phone and let him know what we needed to have done.  He understood, gave us a quote, and said a technician could be out that same day between 4-6pm.  We received a call from Kasey saying he was running ahead of schedule and would like to stop by earlier if that worked for us, which of course, it did!  He was here within a half hour.  We were confident right away that he really knew what he was doing.  After changing some wiring around, and spending at least 15 minutes upstairs in the attic (it was a 100 degrees that day, I can't even imagine how hot it was up there!!) he got our thermostat programmed and even made sure the air and heat both worked!  The price we paid was exactly what we were quoted.  I'd highly recommend them and would certainly use Sharp again!!  Thanks for the GREAT service!!!

I spent lots of money. My problem was never diognosed or resolved. When the technician explained  what they charged for, it seemed to make sense. As he was placing a new looking motor (presumably the old broken one) into the service van, I resisted asking him to leave it.
I have heard of technicians pretending to replace parts. I resisted because I believed it would cause an an argument with my husband.

Tech serviced the wrong house. The work order had my address but they serviced the neighbors house. When I informed them the Tech never showed they tried justifying the service by sending me pictures of a house, the house number and an a/c unit. The pictures were my neighbors house. To top it off...my neighbors were not home! and the company never called me. They went into a backyard when nobody was home?? I had to call another company so hopefully they know how to read an address.
