After spending a night in uncomfortable heat, they responded to an A/C service request in quick order at 7 am (the good). My unit was running but not blowing cold air and we, understandably, wanted a quick resolution.

Upon arrival, the technician, Paul, quickly identified that the
capacitor was dead and had no charge. He then tells me these parts typically run $240+ but you're in luck, since it's under warranty it will only be $68. Not bad, I thought at the time. After a quick replacement (it took longer to walk to his truck to get the part), he told me to check inside to ensure that cold air was blowing. It was indeed and he did not bother with any additional inspection of the unit.

This weekend, in an effort to try and educate myself on A/C units, I did some research ... turns out a replacement capacitor is a $10-20 part on Amazon. I can understand an upcharge, but why blatantly lie about the cost?

Plus, my A/C unit is only 1 year old so it's still certainly under warranty but I'm not sure if that part replacement should have been covered.  

I will not be calling them again and certainly do not recommend.

These guys are a great team! They did a full installation of my new air conditioner in great time and at a great price. I highly recommend this company for your air conditioning needs. They even registered my warranty and took and disposed all the trash and old unit! They are brothers and work very well together. There philosophy is to do it right the first time. Lynn was prompt, not only returning my call to schedule the appointment, but also arriving at the time we scheduled. My AC unit needed a check up on before things heat up for the summer!  Lynn was very thorough as he explained the current state of our system.  Everything was in good shape, with the exception of the fan motor on the exterior coil unit, which had to be replaced.  His prices were more than fair.  I would definitely recommend Cool Guys as a trusted outfit!

A tech from west coast entered my rental unit without my permission (I am the owner) to help out my tenant. They broke the pipes connected to the bathtub, cut into the wall, and then my tenant called to tell me. They wanted to charge me to fix the mess they made, which I refused. Then they left the mess and my tenant with no working shower. When I called the manager to ask what they were going to do to fix it, they said sorry, it happened on Friday the 13th. I wish I was kidding.

We had Brandon from HammerHead Mechanical come out last week and do our summer service.  I was so impressed he was on time, polite and courteous. We felt he actually went above and beyond what others have done for us in the past. The thing we loved the most was how much he cared for our house and property. I would recommend HammerHead Mechanical ask for Brandon he'll take great care of you.

We were able to get them out on a holiday weekend and they were very fair.  We had our Air Conditioner leak and ductwork was completely wet.  They came out right away removed the wet damaged ductwork. They were very flexible and came back when we needed them to replace the ductwork after the house was dried out.  Really appreciated Nick and his honest hard work. I would recommend this company to anyone needing AC work done.

Our water heater broke on a Saturday morning,  I texted Ralf and his guy was at our house within 2 hours. The part that was broken unfortunately had to be purchased from somewhere Monday morning,  but they got the part the minute the store opened and had it fixed that morning. Great communication, great workmanship!

I requested a quote to get my thermostat fixed, figuring it was a wiring problem with the thermostat itself from when my husband and I installed a smart thermostat ourselves. Got a very quick response from John who - unlike many of the other people I requested quotes from - actually gave me a quote. He showed up on time to do the repair I requested, and went above and beyond by checking out basically our whole heating/cooling system.

We needed more work done than originally requested, but he asked before starting anything and respected my desire to not have any additional holes drilled in our wall. Very happy with the service given and the price, and will definitely be calling John for any handyman work we need done in the future.

I called one place left a message still haven't heard back. I called Mike at 7:00pm and he was over by 8:00pm and had my A/C back on by 8:30 sweet very reasonable

Repairs were done quickly and professionally. They did a very good job, our Air conditioning as been working well ever since.

I have used Sharp Air Conditioning for projects on several properties. They have never disappointed. They arrive on time, and work efficiently and effectively. They are honest and reliable. Sharp is my go to contractor for air conditioning issues.

I spent lots of money. My problem was never diognosed or resolved. When the technician explained  what they charged for, it seemed to make sense. As he was placing a new looking motor (presumably the old broken one) into the service van, I resisted asking him to leave it.
I have heard of technicians pretending to replace parts. I resisted because I believed it would cause an an argument with my husband.

Tech serviced the wrong house. The work order had my address but they serviced the neighbors house. When I informed them the Tech never showed they tried justifying the service by sending me pictures of a house, the house number and an a/c unit. The pictures were my neighbors house. To top it off...my neighbors were not home! and the company never called me. They went into a backyard when nobody was home?? I had to call another company so hopefully they know how to read an address.
