Established in 1990.
2019 update - We are back under local owner management. After 4 years as an owner of a local mechanical contracting company and 8 years as an installer Marty Wolff started Wolff Mechanical in 1990. He worked to procure the best custom home builders as customers and hired the best skilled technicians and installers to serve his clients. The company grew over the years and became one of the top retail and new construction HVAC companies in the valley. The strength in Wolff Mechanical is dedication to employee training and strong customer service. Wolff eventually brought on state of the art products like VRV systems, air purification, Aeroseal duct sealing and Nest. As the customers requested new technology Wolff was the leader in supplying what they wanted in a professional cost effective manner.

Martin has been in the  HVAC industry since 1980 in the Phoenix area.  He started as a driver and then an installer. He eventually became self employed as a local mechanical contractor and eventually started Wolff Mechanical in 1990 with his wife Lisa.  
Martin has 7 brothers and sisters and grew up in the Mesa area.  His Father retired from the Air Force and served as a pilot.

Awful awful, starting from Barbara (the receptionist) up to the manager on call.
We had AC issues on a Friday after they installed one of the AC units improperly (6 months ago).
We called and they promised to send someone out but no one came.
We called again and Barbara stated that they weren't able to have anyone come out until Monday --the entire weekend with the house in greate85 degree heat (the other Ac unit set at 60 and trying to cool all parts of the house).
I have 2 small children, aged 2 and 7.
Never go to Wolff, we are reporting them to the BBB.
Awful!

Paul, the owner called us and sorted things out.
He listened to our concerns and addressed them the very same day! We are so appreciative, we decided to stay with Wolff for continued maintenance. Brandon, their technician was professional, knowledgeable and fixed the Ac right away! Thank you Paul for making us feel valued as customers!

What outstanding customer service from Joe V. and his boss.  Came out at 5:30 pm and worked hard for hours to get my AC running.  Wolff is honest, reliable and they are focused on doing the job correctly, honestly and efficiently. Recently had trouble with one of our air conditioners. It turned out there were 2 issues at play. The major issue was promptly diagnosed and fixed by Zac, who came up with a plan to address the minor issue. Thanks to his efforts and follow through, DJ came out that evening and was here until 11pm. He discovered and fixed a very subtle issue and our AC has been running great since then!

Our HVAC was not producing cool air. We tried replacing the air filter and switched the main breaker switch several times, to no avail.  Called Wolff Mechanical for repair service and Richard, our service rep from Wolff's arrived (ahead of schedule) and was able to diagnose the problem without having to enter our home.  In less than an hour, we were chillin' again!   Thank you, Richard!

We bought an AC unit for a wine cellar from Wolff mechanical and they installed it without issue. Yearly, they come and complete their routine preventative maintenance (PM) and we haven't had an issue until now. We contacted them and they surprisingly said they no longer complete PM on the wine units they install. I can understand if a company informs the customer that they do not provide a service with a new install however, they should continue the service and not just tell us we don't do that anymore. Poor customer service.

I have been a loyal VIP customer for over 8 years. They have shown horrible customer service, and sent out inept workers. Tried arguing with me when I stated the problem. Then when I asked them NOT to resend a particular technician out to me, who do they send ? The very same individual.
I will be switching to another company asap. Awful...

Many thanks to Paul Kuiper gen manager for making proper ammends and doing the right thing.
He was certainly correct in saying that these events 'are not the Wolff way'. Hopefully some of the other folks will take some lessons in customer service from Paul.
Regardless, I do very much appreciate Paul making the best out of this situation. We are going to continue working with Wolff.

I have been a good customer for Wolff for 22 years but my latest dealings with them has changed my opinion. I called for a problem with one of my ac units and the tech said I needed new parts which were under warranty. He would order them and have the work done in a week.  I approved the work but had to leave town.  I returned 6 weeks later to find no work done and my house at 100o.  They were to install a new unit on the other side of my house but during the process said there was a gas line problem and I had to call another plumber to fix it.  Their people are the only ones that have ever been in my attic yet they took no responsibility for the bent flex line.  I found the techs professional and very courteous and friendly but it ends there.

Had them install our AC system 7 years ago and the past few years have had problems. First the fan came off. They said this sometimes happens and it was not covered under warranty. Funny how they did the install and have done all of the service and maintenance, but sometimes this happens? On the latest issue we called them as the unit was not cooling. The first technician arrives and tells us he can not go on the roof and check out it out as he is recovering from surgery. We told them the unit was on a steep pitched roof and they send someone out that can't go on a roof. After calling they sent out another tech (Kenneth - great guy, professional 5 stars for him) who took care of the issue (another item that should have been covered by warranty due to improper installation. They told us the manager would call us on Monday, but we never got a call. Guess they don't want our business, bye!

Interesting morning. Sitting at a red light and one of their drivers is honking at me like a maniac. Sorry I wasn't going to run a red because you were late.

I call the number on the van to tell customer service their driver is out of control and making their company look bad. She asks me for my name. I ask her why that's relevant and to let me give her the number on the back of this drivers van. She refuses to take the number and will not listen to the issue. At one point she asks me again for my name (what are you thinking)? At this point I ask if I can speak to a supervisor to give them this number on the van before I lose the driver. She then tells me my name is required. At this point the driver is gone so this is my only way to leave feedback to management.

I was simply trying to report a maniac driver and unable to do so due to the customer service representative. She was definitely the worst I have ever spoken with and she was trying to talk over me. I am not sure what is so hard about answering a call and taking down a number and reporting the activity? Apparently too hard for this customer service rep. I hope you guys record your calls to back and listen on 7am on 8/20/19.

My current belief is I must have called a small shop and reported the husband to the wife or something

No real explanation but stay away from these guys on the roads and stay away from calling their front desk.

Prolly would stay away in general. Unreal experience this morning and I rarely ever leave a review. I hope
Management sees an actions but I have a feeling management was the guy honking at me this morning trying to run a red light.

I have been a loyal customer to them for almost 15 years now with both my businesses and my residential homes. I have probably spent over $150,000 with their company within those years and they just lost me as a customer for life time over $90. Their integrity and ethics have lowered immensely and I will never use them again.

July 27th.

Update...AC is still blowing cold and working great!!  Thanks again!!

Came home Tuesday to AC blowing hot air.  Called another company, got them out ASAP, which was Wednesday afternoon(today).  Turned off AC Tuesday, back on two hours later and was blowing cold air.  

Wednesday, AC blowing cold all day, but still need unit inspected/serviced, kept our appt.  Service tech arrives, inspects our AC. Informs us a repair of $4400 will be required, as this unit will not last the summer(unit is about 12 years old) even with it currently working.  

Wanting a second opinion, called Wolff at 6:45 PM on Wednesday(today) wanting to set up an appt for tomorrow.  Spoke with a gentleman, believe Andreus, who was very pleasant.  Informed him of what I needed, he offered SAME DAY to have a service tech out.  I informed him I didn't want to be an inconvenience, he reassured me not at all.  Perfect, told me worst case, someone would be by before 8:30 PM.

Received a call from Jason, at 7:04 PM, let me know he'd be here with in 30 minutes, traffic permitting.  Jason arrives, within his stated time frame.  Introduces himself with a smile and handshake, and I tell him what's going on (AC blew hot yesterday, turned it off 2 hours, been cold since), he's replies let me gear up and I'll see what's going on.

Jason is on my roof for over an hour, has my hose up there, and is doing his thing.  Climbs down, and gives me the run down.  Let's me know system is working as intended, and he found system was over charged.  He filled the refrigerant to the correct level.  Tells me it is an old unit, so replacement will be needed sooner than later, but after I asked him about it lasting the summer, he informed me he didn't see why it shouldn't make it.  Awesome!  $200 later, AC is running cold, I feel confident in Jason's assessment, and when I do need a new unit, Wolff will be the folks doing the replacement.  Thank you again guys.

They shouldn't even get one star, but not a choice. After multiple calls overnight, they never called back nor stated they don't do overnight emergency calls. Website states they are 24/7, not true.
Search elsewhere if you have an actual emergency. They don't even care if it's a medical emergency.

Wolff has installed three A/C units for me over the past few years.  Each time they did a fantastic job and had the best pricing.  Tim was great to work with.  He took the time to understand my needs and find a solution to best meet those needs.  The install teams were all great and very courteous.  They took the time to plan ahead and as a result, I've been very pleased with their work.  

I'm pretty picky with my installs and check each one after they are installed for overall workmanship, leaks (small and big throughout the system), temperature differentials (e.g. it heats and cools to specifications) and the work area is clean and free of debris.  When something is not perfect, they fix it that day or the next.  

I would highly recommend the team at Wolff for your next install or service.

Wow. I called Wolff to have them estimate installation of 2 whole home humidifier units since they show up as an Aprilaire contractor. They first wanted to ask if I understood these might cost as much as $5000 each since they might have to bring in an electrician and a plumber.

Talk about hair standing up on my neck! Folks, the Humidifier Units cost $200 each. If their own people cannot do basic electrical and plumbing work, these guys are not a Mechanical AC, Heat and Solar company.

$5000 each for installation of a $200 humidifier? Nice try Wolff, but you won't be stepping foot on my property. LOL...

We've used Wolff for years, our last annual contract with them for ac/heat checks ended, and we won't use them again. More expensive than competitors, and terrible customer service. Our last attempts at scheduling ended with a tech showing up 4 hours early, a tech not showing up at all, and a smart-alec phone rep who was unapologetic. I called last month to see if I could refund the remainder on the contract, the guy on the phone said 'no way, and if you wanted to it's above my pay grade.' I guess that means if the contract expires you lose tour pre-payment. There's far better companies doing it out there for less.

Tim was very professional and explained everything very well. I researched and found the A+ BBB rating and that they have been in business for over 25 years. I did not feel pressured or sold to, and I even cancelled another company as I found better service and professionalism with Wolff. He even gave me a sheet that compared systems in columns and broke down the cost. It helped me make my decision and not feel taken advantage of and helped me compare. In the end, I felt like I was making a more educated decision. They install tomorrow. I will update then.
Update:
They came as scheduled this morning. Three men all very nice, professional amd efficient. I am pleased with the heating system. It blows much better than what I had. It is quiet. Also, because it blows well, I think I will be able to have the heat set to lower temp (and hopefully in summer the AC set higher temp). They explained how to use my new thermostat. They used booties when in the house and then put canvas down to cover the carper foe hauling stuff in and out. They even vacuumed up afterwards.

After installing a brand new unit, our air stopped at 10PM that night. Their 24 hour service consists of an answering service after 10PM. We had the sales rep's cell number though and she got a hold of the installation manager. He let us know that they would pickup a hotel room and that we should not feel obligated to stay in the house in the heat. They sent a reimbursement for the room and took care of us.

I am not thrilled about the inconvenience and it uncovered an opportunity for improvement but they took care of everything and made sure it worked.

In this world, it's not if you make a mistake, it's how you address the error and grow from it. Wolff made it right and everything worked out in the end.

I was referred to Wolff Mechanical by my Mom. We had 4 different companies come out and give us an estimate for our AC which needed to be replaced. The first quote was from George Brazil and they wanted $6,800-$7,500 to complete the task. Highway robbery.  There were 2 companies that requested a much more reasonable price...just over $5000. We decided to go with Wolff because they offered a 12 yr warranty and a $250 rebate through APS, not to mention a lower price. Also, let's face it, I respect  my parent's opinion and they have been using Wolff Mechanical for many years.

Mike Stoffer, A.K.A. Comfort Consultant, was truly amazing from start to finish. He came out on Friday and we had our AC blowing cold on Monday. He authorized the installation even though he knew we would not be able to pay until the next day while funds were being transferred into our account. Then when we did have the check filled out, he personally came back to our house to pick it up.

I recommend Wolff Mechanical to anyone who wants an honest and reliable AC Company!!! Bar-none.

Awful is a good word for their business. In 18 months time they over billed by $17,000+. They looked into it and said they only over billed by $8,000+. This was a commercial account and we spent over $300,000. I would not recommend this company!

Honestly, I admit I am not the home owner who hired Wolff. I am however the person who has been home when they've come to service, twice. I think they're great! I came home and was experiencing issues with the unit it was 5:30 pm, they managed to send David to help me out and fortunately they sent him within hours of my call. He was kind and repaired my unit. The previous gentleman who came to help a while ago was also very kind and also fixed the unit and I believe it was also the same day. These guys are my fave :-) thank you for your kind prompt a/c servicing :-)

I recently had Wolff Mechanical install 3 new a/c units and the furnaces/air handling units corresponding to them.  The representative I worked with was Tim Friederich and he did an outstanding and thorough job of explaining everything they would do, suggested features I should consider and was very professional.  In addition to Tim the installation crew (5) was very professional, friendly, prompt and left the areas perfect upon completion.   From custom fabricating a piece to make a unit fit in a very tight spot to the overall look and operation of the units Wolff did a great job.  Wolff Mechanical was one of 4 companies I met with and received quotes--they were not the least expensive but they were the one I was most comfortable with--largely due to Tim.  I am very satisfied.  CB

Technicians came and sealed up some holes in duct work and cleaned coils on AC.
They did a complete and thorough job and they even vacuumed up the insulation from my floors. Excellent service and on time too.

I called Wolff for an estimate on getting Solar AC units was told that Daikin  unit were better and more economical. Well Mike came out to my home gave me the tour on how I would save money on these unit and no cost for service .I said that is awesome BUT  I do not want to have a finance payment that is going to be bigger than my average electric bill.  So here is what it will cost to replace my units  Daikin HH (2) DZ20VC0481A Variable Speed Heat Pumps 7958771 (2) 4 Ton 20.0 / 12.5
Daikin (2) DV48PVCD14A Variable Speed Air Handlers - - -
Daikin (2) Comfort Net (CTK04) Controllers & Bridge  this totaled 27k   OMG.......    What the H***    Why would I want  a finance payment of $251 per month.  I pay for a full year of electric $2,994.15  if you divide  12 months $249  per month.....  So  they said it would save up to 50% of my bill.  Lets be conservative an say the systems are so good they do 55%  That would mean I would save $137   WOW.....   So that means I have to pay $251 + $112  =  $363 a month.......   I spent more to save......  Do yourself a favor  WOLFF give a estimated price first instead of wasting my time.  Now I asked for SOLAR   WHY????   when using the SUN there is no electric be used and then my ELECTRIC bill is LESS.... WOW what a concept....  Never got that Solar AC estimate.........

As of today still waiting on that SOLAR ESTIMATE.......

I have been a customer of Wolff Mechanical for almost 8 years. During that time I have both purchased new Trane systems for two homes as well as contracting for their annual service contracts. Trust worthy professional and customer oriented describe them them to a T. Today they also added responsible to that list. They took responsibility for a mistake that they could have easily denied. The result was a significant amount of rework at their expense. No doubt they have a customer for life.

Having had issues with air-conditioner installations in the past I've waited for a year to write this review. I wanted to make sure that everything that was installed worked correctly and when dealing with an air-conditioner, it takes all the seasons to really know.

I'm happy to say that everything they said about the unit they sold me and the installation came out fine. They were professional about everything and the installation went without a hitch.

I highly recommend Wolff if you need your air-conditioner replaced or even if you just need service. We had been using them for service on our old unit and even though we checked around before using them for the purchase and installation of a new unit, they turned out to be the best price and we could get a year interest free financing.

We're happy with Wolff.

I've had an annual contract with Wolff for a few years and they come out 2x a year to check gas heating and A/C and make any needed repairs which have never been very serious ($400 at the most probably).  Customer Service is always great, the techs are knowledgeable too and do good work.  
My 2 single-stage systems of course were aging and I knew the time would come where I would have to put them down.  This year, at age 13, the tech delivered the bad news that it was time.  I have 2 A/C-gas furnace systems (original builder grade Goodmans and noisey!).  Of course I got more than 1 estimate. Decided on Wolff.  My sales person, Brandon DuBois, was outstanding, highly professional, eager, likes his job, likes his company, likes people, knows his 'stuff'; and the company offered good financing, etc.  Went with the 2-stage 16 seer Daikin; 2400 square foot 2-level house.  Easily scheduled the work to be done within a short time frame out, and because I work they came out on a Saturday.  Two crews were sent to get the job done in 1 day.  The team leader, Zaid, was meticulous, knowledgeable and concerned.  The crew worked great together, too.  Zaid didn't leave the job until he was sure the 2 systems were working optimally.  I know have 2 beautiful, more quiet systems, more cost effective systems with a best-in-class warranty and Wi-Fi enabled programmable thermostats, just in time for summer!  If you're looking especially to replace your systems, definitely consider Wolff for one of your estimates.  And if you're looking to make sure your systems continue running, also considering Wolff for their annual contract. The 2 annual check ups are free and any service or repair needed is done at a discount.

I will never contact Wolff mechanical for business again and I recommend you finding someone else to fix your air conditioning. It took them a week to fix my air, A WEEK. No apologies from the actually company, just the repair who causally said sorry this took so long. It was something simple as the external rotating fan. And once they finally got around to actually fixing it, they were missing another part, which they never have ran out of before which then took another two days for them to come out again. We called them every time asking for updates or to set up times, not once did they initiate the call. Please choose another company to fix your air. Unless you want to be displaced from your home for a week.

When my husband and I just wanted to discuss a possible new AC/HEAT unit in about 6 months, Christine in sales at Wolff was so pushy, rude and aggressive.  I have used Wolff on three prior homes we have owned and after dealing with Christine we will not return in any way, shape or form.  She is incredibly rude and does not have the customer's needs at heart.  I was shocked at her unprofessional manner.  We are going somewhere else for service AND purchasing a new AC unit.

If there is anything I hate is someone charging me when they didn't do a damn thing. My heater part of my a/c went out 2 years ago when we got that freeze. So I called my warranty company and they recommended Wolff Mechanical, so they came out cause no one else was available. Just so happen when they came out, they determined nothing was wrong with the unit eventhough my girlfriend was sick and it was ice cold in my house. They still charged me for the service call, but told me to call them back when it happend again. So less than an hour later, I called them back and they came out and said that everything was fine and was about to leave and I demanded I get some answer. Unfortunately, of course everything was just fine, but I was freezing my ass off and will never call them again and will tell everyone I know never to call Wolff Mechanical.

This company is amazing! We had issues with our A/C undergoing a power outage daily while we were at work. We called and they sent someone out the same night and he spent over 2.5 hours working on it and when he left it was up and running. However, the next day the same thing happened so we called again and Jason came later that day. He spent another hour or so working on it and solved the problem and thoroughly explained everything to me. He didn't charge us for the labor he did (which was extensive) and he was very professional! I would highly recommend this company to anyone. They were so reliable and timely which is important when it's 115 degrees out! Thank you Wolff Mechanical!

My family's been using Wolff to service and maintain our HVAC system for years, and we've always found them to be professional, reasonably priced, and honest. We've had the occasional tech who's a little wet behind the ears, but even they've just taken a little longer to do the same work.

We will never use another AC company.  We had several AC companies try to fix our old unit, and we felt Wolff was always honest and reasonably priced.  Our regular tech, Dave, was always knowledgeable and took pride in his work. Wolff even came out on 9 pm on a Saturday night within an hour after we called to fix our broken unit.  Eventually, when we had yet another problem with our old unit during an extreme heat wave, Wolff gave us the option to repair or replace the unit. We felt the quote to replace the AC was fair and because we trusted Wolff, we went ahead with the replacement without getting other quotes.  Wolff installed our unit the next day and the follow up has been great.

I'm very impressed with the customer service, response and work completed on my unit.  This morning I woke up and decided to install my Nest thermostat. Somehow in the process I lost power to the A/C and furnace and was unable to complete the process.  I contacted Nest who attempted to troubleshoot the problem but was unsuccessful.  They provided me with a list of technicians and I chose Wolff Mechanical.  I gave them a phone call and spoke with Crystal.  She advised me that today was a busy day for them but she could fit me in somewhere between 2-6.  This would have worked but I had a prior engagement that I needed to attend at 6.  I advised Crystal of my situation and she said she would do her best to get me in by 5 but no promises.  Within the hour, I received a call from Crystal and she advised that a technician could be at my house within 45 minutes.  Perfect!!  Great work Crystal!!  This may not seem like a big deal to most but when you consider all circumstances, prior engagement and  I live in the desert and it may reach 100 degrees today.  Getting my unit up and running was very important.  It's nice to know that Crystal went above and beyond to accommodate me.

The Technician (I can't remember his name) was very professional, quick and provided me with important information about my units that I did not know.  He repaired my unit, showed me the part he replaced and thanked me for choosing his company.

Good fast service is hard to come by and I would recommend this company to anyone.

I had a problem with my gas heat- no heat or flow in one zone of the house. I called Wolff for service. I do have an old two zone heating/AC system with the heater in the attic. The tech promptly came, and went up in the attic and said the limit switches are weak and he has adjusted them, and it will work. He said it takes an hour or more for me to feel the heat. He recommended a new system, and gave me a detailed quote for a new system, strongly pushing it. He also charged me $160 for the service call. After he left, there was no heat even after a few hours. I reluctantly went up on the attic myself to check, and found that the duct system that connects to the heater was completely disconnected and the duct was lying on the floor, with nice hot air spewing into the attic. I reconnected it and secured it with duct tape, and lo and behold, got heat in the house immediately. I am  unhappy that I was charged $160, though the problem was obvious and unattended to;  the tech was only interested in trying to sign me up for a new system. I needed to replace my old system, but chose another company based on this experience. I hope this was an an isolated problem since i do see good reviews from others.

This is a company that I have been using for my A/C needs for some time. Usually I am very happy with the price and the service they provide but this last visit was so appallingly bad that I don't know if I would ever use them again. I don't know if they changed owners or if this was just a really bad day for a new tech but I was very disappointed. Tech showed up, took a quick look at the exterior part of my system and said something was terribly wrong with it because it was only cooling 4 degrees at the unit. He looked at few things, took his sniffer thing up in the attic and said it had a micro leak at the evap coil. He explained to me that this would cost 2800-3500 dollars to fix, recommended I replace the entire system and gave me a quote of 9500 to 11,500 dollars to do so. His report indicated that the unit was so low on refrigerant that he was unable to complete the check, and where the leak was on the coil. I wanted to price a new coil so I went up a couple days later to get a model number and found the tech had left some of the screws out so that the unit had a 1/2 inch open gap that leaked air when it was running. Bear in mind the heater functions fine, except that now I pay to heat my attic as well as the house because their tech did not bother with re-assembling my unit when he was done!!!!
Enter the next company that I called out for a second opinion. Ran the unit for a while, tested all the temperatures out and the came out right in range for proper operation (18 degree drop, which is at the lower end but acceptable). He then got his sniffer out and tested for leaks, both where the Wolff Tech said and all around the attic unit. Nothing. No leaks. He did recommend I add a little Freon, but it did not need much at all, they say it was little enough that it could easily be accounted for by what is lost from annual checks and maybe started a bit low when compressor was replaced but no big deal.
Bottom line? There was never anything wrong with my unit at all!!! Nothing. What the hell happened here? If I had listened to that Wolff tech and replaced my system I would have spent as much as 11,500 dollars to replace something that is working normally. If I had not checked their work I could have ended up paying to air condition my attic all summer because they didn't put my system back together properly. BE VERY CAREFUL IN TRUSTING THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The first time I arranged for a service person to come out to check my air conditioner they gave me a 4 hour window for arrival. After 3 hours and 30 minutes I called the company and was told that my appointment was cancelled (without asking or telling me) because other people with broken air conditioners needed their services more. Very unhappy, I rescheduled to a different day with a morning 4 hour window, since I have a standing work appointment in the afternoon. After 3 hours I called to check on my appointment and was told that I was scheduled for the afternoon 4 hour window. I had it written down on 3 calendars, and remember well the conversation with the scheduler telling him I needed my appointment in the morning and him agreeing to it. In fact, I moved my appointment out a few days specifically so I could have the morning block of time. I have taken off work a total of 8 hours without results. Wish I had learned the first time and gone with another company instead of rescheduling.

My heat pump started blowing cool a few days ago. After another company came out and estimated it would take $2000 to repair my system (and recommended that I buy another one) I called Wolff for a second opinion. I was referred to them by one of my family members.

One of their guys came out today and spent quite a bit of time on my roof before coming down and telling me what the problem was. He said that aside from being an old system, the only thing wrong with it was that it was 4 pounds low on refrigerant. This was a stark contrast from the first company that came out, who said that I was out of refrigerant, there was a refrigerant leak needed to be fixed, and two other pieces were broken.

When I heard that the only issue was being low on refrigerant (and that the price they quoted me per pound was $30 cheaper) I was very relieved. The tech filled it up within 15 minutes and my house was warm again.

I'm really glad I called Wolff for a second opinion, and that I didn't get grifted (as it seemed the other company was certainly trying to do). I'll certainly be calling Wolff again in the future when things go wrong and recommend them to my friends and family as well.

I contacted Wolff Mechanical because they were an authorized APS contractor to conduct a super-tune up on my ac.  They came out, and their machine wasn't working to conduct the audit, so they left.  They never followed up to reschedule, and they left a mess in my house from going up into the attic. I will never recommend them to anyone.

I purchased a new rooftop ac unit from Wolff Mechanical a year ago. I found them when I needed someone to do a hail inspection on my ac unit. They were very helpful in assisting me to make a hail claim through my insurance company. Long story short, my insurance didn't pay for the hail damage, so I had to purchase the new system myself. After getting quotes form other companies Wolff was the best value. Now a year and a couple weeks after they installed the unit, it all of the sudden stopped working out of the blue last night at about 8:00pm. I went to Wolff's website and called the number thinking I would leave a message for someone to call me back the next day. To my surprise someone answered. I explained the problem and she said she would have someone call me back. About 10 minutes later a tech called me and said that he could be there in about an hour to fix it. This would be at 9:00pm! I was amazed. After the tech arrived it was determined that it was the thermostat that was bad. He asked to see my initial install paperwork. When I showed it to him he noticed that the system was actually 2 weeks past warranty. He quickly said no problem, I'll make the warranty retroactive and cover it. These guys are top notch! where a lot of companies would just show up when it was convenient for them and stick you with the cost of repairs the day after the warranty expires, Wolff values their customers enough to make getting their system back working again a priority and stands behind their work! I would highly recommend them!
